Payback 2020
Date: 29/8/20
Location: Amway Center, Orlando, Florida
Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan vs Sasha Banks w/Bayley
(Following their war at SummerSlam, SmackDown’s so-called "role models", Sasha Banks and Bayley, continue feuding with The Riott Squad. Sasha, incensed that she was the one who took the pin, challenges Ruby Riott to this match. Ruby accepts and says she’ll happily beat The Boss from pillar to post. Midway through the match, Banks tweaks her knee and works the match on one leg, which causes her downfall. Bayley tries to run interference, but Liv Morgan stops her, allowing Riott to hit a Riott Kick and pin Banks to win this match. Following the match, paramedics and EMT’s come out to check on Sasha, but she refuses medical attention, with Bayley instead helping her to the back. Bayley then shockingly pushes Sasha to the ground and mercilessly attacks her, screaming "You had one job, Sasha!" at her former ally. Bayley concludes the beatdown by peeling back the mats at ringside to expose the concrete floor and drops The Boss with a nasty DDT. Sasha leaves on a stretcher.)
Matt Riddle vs The Miz w/John Morrison
(After making his main roster debut in mid July, Matt Riddle begins a small undefeated streak, scoring victories over the likes of Drew Gulak, Robert Roode, and Elias, which ends up drawing the ire of The Miz. Miz says that this goofbag who doesn't even wear shoes shouldn't even be in the same ring as him. Riddle says that Miz's spotlight, as well as his Hollywood career, are fading fast, so he's trying to latch on to the new hot commodity to remain relevant. Riddle wins clean with a Bro Derek.)
Dominik Mysterio w/Rey Mysterio vs Buddy Murphy w/Seth Rollins
(Rey Mysterio and his son continue to go after Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy, with Dominik challenging Rollins' disciple to a match at Payback. Dominik wins, getting the first win of his career.)
Triple Threat Match to determine the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship:
Sami Zayn vs Cesaro vs Aleister Black
(On the SmackDown after SummerSlam, Sami Zayn tells Ricochet that he can stop pretending to be interim Intercontinental Champion now, because the true championed has returned. Ricochet says that Sami went AWOL for months and was stripped of the title, meaning the title he's holding now is just a worthless trinket. Cesaro, having recently turned babyface. then comes out and says that Sami can't just cut the line, he has to earn his shot at the title. Aleister Black, having dealt with EC3 at SummerSlam, then interrupts and says he has unfinished business with that cackling hyena named Zayn, and if Cesaro stands in his path, he will fall victim to the Black Mass. Mickie James then sets up this match to determine a clear winner.)
Keith Lee vs AJ Styles
(Keith Lee makes his main roster debut on the Raw after SummerSlam. He retains his banger of an entrance theme from NXT, and there’s not a singlet in sight. Lee interrupts AJ Styles, saying he's had one shot too many at the WWE Championship, and it's time he faces a new challenge in a man who is limitless. AJ says that Lee may have been a big shark in the small pond that is NXT, but on Raw, he's just another overrated goldfish in a big ocean. Lee wins clean with a Spirit Bomb to score the first huge win on the main roster.)
Singles Match to determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship:
Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton
(After both men fail to become WWE Champion at SummerSlam, Adam Pearce gives both KO and The Viper another shot at the WWE Championship, with them being put in a number one contenders match at Payback. Owens says he won’t stop until he becomes WWE Champion, while Orton wants to continue his newly found aggressive momentum.)
Triple Threat Elimination Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Jeff Hardy vs Braun Strowman
(On the SmackDown after Summerslam, Roman Reigns comes out with new theme music and is accompanied by Paul Heyman. Reigns declares that The Big Dog is dead, that he is no longer that person who does things for the fans, that’s it's time he does things for his family, which is why he is now declaring himself "The Head of the Table" and "The Tribal Chief", and everyone will acknowledge him. Braun Strowman interrupts and tells Reigns that he has something that doesn't belong to him, and he wants it back. Jeff Hardy then comes out and says that this isn't Roman, a man who wouldn't just let The Big Dog fade away and be classified as obsolete, but since he has become a coward who hides behind Paul Heyman, he deserves to have his ass kicked. Mickie James sets up this match for the main event. Hardy is eliminated first after missing a Swanton Bomb and allowing Strowman to capitalise with a Running Powerslam, and Strowman is eliminated second after a Spear from Reigns.)

Clash of Champions 2020
Date: 27/9/20
Location: Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey
Pre-Show:
Sheamus vs King Corbin
(Following their failure to become SmackDown Tag Team Champions at SummerSlam, Sheamus and King Corbin implode. They begin blaming their mistakes on each other, and both want to end the careers of each other, leading to Mickie James setting up this match. Sheamus says the fact that Corbin still continues to parade around as a king who holds a meaningless crown is a sad reflection of where his career has gone. Corbin says that he had to carry Sheamus all throughout their partnership, because each and every single mistake was his fault. Sheamus wins with a Brogue Kick.)
Main Show:
Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Ricochet (c) vs Sami Zayn
(After his victory over Cesaro and Aleister Black at Payback, Sami Zayn promises to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship from the overhyped pretender that is Ricochet. The Future of Flight says that Sami is just a delusional douchebag for thinking he's still the champion, when he was stripped of it and suspended for running his big mouth, but if he wants an ass-kicking, he’ll get one. Sami wins after handcuffing Ricochet's ankle to the ladder, then climbs the ladder and unhooks the title to become a 3-time Intercontinental Champion.)
Raw Women’s Championship:
Shayna Baszler (c) vs Mia Yim (by Technical Submission)
(Mia Yim makes her main roster debut on the Raw after SummerSlam (She’s not called Reckoning either. Because f**k Vince), and targets an old rival in Shayna Baszler. Mia says that Shayna doesn't have her lapdogs to help her now that she's on Raw, and she's been treading water until a real challenge showed up, so she’s going to remind her that it’s sink or swim. Shayna says that Mia was a nobody that she already disposed of down in NXT, and if she wants to swim with the sharks, then she’ll gladly take this criminal out into the deep waters and drown her.)
Raw Tag Team Championship:
The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) (c) w/MVP & Bobby Lashley vs Andrade "Cien" Almas & Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega
(Andrade "Cien" Almas and Angel Garza defeat Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy and The Street Profits in a triple threat match on Raw to become the number one contenders. Zelina Vega says that this match will be the first domino to fall in the downfall of The Hurt Business. MVP says that Almas hasn't been the same since he lost to Brock Lesnar, and if a scheming little puppet master like Vega thinks Almas and his sleaze-ball of a tag team partner can overthrow The Hurt Business, then this will be a walk in the park. Towards the end of the match, Almas accidentally hits Garza with a cartwheel enzuigiri. Alexander then throws El Idolo out of the ring and lands a Lumbar Check on Garza to retain the Raw Tag Team Championship. Following the match, Garza lays out Almas with the Wing Clipper and storms to the back.)
Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/The Hurt Business vs Apollo Crews vs Keith Lee
(Apollo Crews continues his feud with The Hurt Business following SummerSlam, saying he won't rest until he takes the United States Championship from The Almighty. Keith Lee gets involved in this feud when he saves Crews from a 4-on-1 beatdown by The Hurt Business. Lee says that Bobby is a hell of an athlete, but he will be taken to his limit by a man who has none, a man who will force Lashley to bask in the glory of the new United States Champion, Keith Lee. MVP says both Lee and Crews will be annihilated by The Almighty. The match ends when Lashley hits a Spear on Lee and applies the Hurt Lock on Crews, forcing Crews to submit and allowing Lashley to retain his US title.)
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali (c) vs Heavy Machinery w/Mandy Rose
(Heavy Machinery defeat The Miz & John Morrison and The War Raiders in a triple threat match on SmackDown, a match where Hanson suffers a neck injury that puts him on the shelf, to become number one contenders. Otis & Tucker say that they’ve been tag team champions before, and they’re looking forward to reaching the top of the mountain again. Gable & Ali say that Heavy Machinery deserve to be tag team champions, but it won’t happen at their expense. Following the match, Otis turns heel and shockingly attacks Tucker, much to Mandy’s delight.)
SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Bayley (c) vs Naomi
(After betraying Sasha Banks for a second time, Bayley says that now that she got rid of the weak deadweight that was Banks, she can now focus on defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Naomi defeats Lacey Evans and Mandy Rose in a triple threat match on SmackDown to become the number one contender. Bayley mocks Naomi for being an afterthought for years, and that she’ll be sent back to obscurity once again. Naomi says that Bayley is nothing more than an arrogant manipulator who uses people to get what she wants, and then turns on them afterwards. Following the match, Bayley beats down Naomi and tries to DDT her on the concrete floor, until Sasha Banks, sporting a neck-brace, returns and fights off Bayley.)
Tornado Tag Team Match:
The Mysterios (Rey and Dominik Mysterio) vs Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy
(After Dominik Mysterio’s win at Payback, Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy continue feuding with The Mysterios, leading to one final match at Clash of Champions under Tornado Tag rules. Rollins says that they will prevail once and for all and make those stubborn Mysterios see the greater good. Rey & Dominik say that Seth's preaching will come to an end.)
WWE Championship:
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Randy Orton
(After his victory at Payback, Randy Orton sets his sights on Drew McIntyre. A debate begins on Raw of which finisher is more lethal - The RKO or The Claymore. Each man hits each other with their finisher to prove which one's better, until The Viper punts McIntyre, putting him out for a week. Orton says that there's been one thing that's been missing in this recent resurgence of The Legend Killer, the WWE Championship, and he doesn't care if he has to break Drew's jaw over and over again in order to do it. McIntyre says that Orton is a washed up fossil at this stage in his career, and he will Claymore him until he can’t get up. This is the same match as their SummerSlam 2020 match, with Drew countering a RKO into a backslide to retain the title.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Jey Uso (by Referee Stoppage)
(On the SmackDown after Payback, Jey Uso confronts Roman Reigns backstage and congratulates him on his World Heavyweight Championship victory. Later that same night, Jey shockingly wins a #1 contenders battle royal to become the new number one contender. Jey says he's proud he gets to do battle with his own cousin over the World Championship , to prove he's more than just a tag team guy, with Roman saying that Jey has earned this. After a victory over Sheamus & King Corbin (having ditched the awkward acronym’s and now focusing on being a tag team), who accused Roman of nepotism for getting Jey in the match, The Tribal Chief, despite his initial reluctance, attacks Jey, reminding him that even though he's blood, he's his opponent at COC, and he will acknowledge him as The Head of the Table. The match is the same match as in real life, with a returning Jimmy Uso running down and throwing in the towel for his brother.)

NXT Takeover: Toronto III
Date: 4/10/20
Location: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
NXT North American Championship:
Damian Priest (c) vs Cameron Grimes
(After narrowly retaining the North American Championship in Boston, Damian Priest enters the crosshairs of Cameron Grimes. Grimes says he’s sick of being called an also-ran and falling short at the finish line, but he’s going to humble Damian Priest and become North American Champion. Priest says that all Grimes does these days is complain when things don't end up going his way. Johnny Gargano attacks The Archer of Infamy post match, laying him out with a One Final Beat DDT and holding up the North American title.)
KUSHIDA vs Tommaso Ciampa (by Submission)
(Tommaso Ciampa attacks KUSHIDA on the NXT a week after Takeover: Boston, briefly turning heel. Ciampa says that NXT is his show, and he won't let some overhyped New Japan refugee steal his thunder. KUSHIDA says that NXT is entering a new era, and an old man like Ciampa is clinging on to whatever stardom he has left before it all fades away. The Time Splitter shocks the Toronto crowd by making Ciampa tap out to the Hoverboard Lock.)
NXT Cruiserweight Championship:
Santos Escobar (c) w/Legado Del Fantasma vs Isaiah "Swerve" Scott
(Due to Jordan Devlin refusing to defend the Cruiserweight Championship on NXT because of an ongoing pay dispute, William Regal sets up a round robin tournament to crown an interim champion until he works things out with The Irish Ace. El Hijo Del Fantasma defeats Drake Maverick in the final to become the interim champion. The following week on NXT, Fantasma turns heel, unmasks to reveal himself as Santos Escobar, and forms Legado Del Fantasma with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde, who had recently been attacking various members of the NXT roster while disguised as masked assailants prior to the tournament’s conclusion. In September, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott scores back-to-back victories over Mendoza and Wilde, and then beats them in a handicap match to earn this shot. Escobar says he is lucha libre royalty, and he won’t allow a street punk like Swerve to soil his legacy. Swerve says Legado Del Fantasma is a house of cards that will fall when he makes it three for three and becomes the new Cruiserweight Champion.)
NXT Women’s Championship:
Io Shirai (c) vs Candice LeRae
(Candice LeRae (now sporting purple hair) wins a number one contender’s battle royal on NXT to become the next challenger to Io Shirai‘s NXT Women’s Championship. Io says she's never liked Candice since she arrived in NXT and she never will, so she will take great pleasure in getting to humiliate her in Toronto. Candice says that Io's afraid of her, and at Takeover: Toronto, her fear will be put on full display for the world to see.)
NXT Championship:
Finn Bálor (c) vs Kyle O'Reilly
(Kyle O'Reilly defeats Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, Johnny Gargano and Timothy Thatcher in a gauntlet match on NXT to become number one contender to the NXT Championship. Finn Bálor says that O’Reilly is a talented competitor, but he will forever be in Adam Cole's shadow, and should have stuck to tag team wrestling. O'Reilly says that people might be writing him off, but Finn’s right; he IS in Adam Cole’s shadow, but he is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world, and Finn has no idea how damn good he really is. This is the same match as it was in real life, with Bálor suffering a broken jaw midway through the match. Both men shake hands after the match.)

NXT UK Takeover: Glasgow
Date: 24/10/20
Location: SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland
NXT UK Tag Team Championship:
Moustache Mountain (c) vs Pretty Deadly
(Following their victory over Imperium in Dublin, Moustache Mountain declare that now that they have finally claimed the NXT UK Tag Team Championship, they want every tag team in NXT UK to step up their game. After spending most of the summer feuding with Gallus, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven catch the eye of Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker, better known as Pretty Deadly, who debuted earlier in the year and have since gone on a solid win streak. Pretty Deadly defeat Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews and The Hunt in a triple threat match on an episode NXT UK to become number one contenders. In the build up, Howley and Stoker accuse Bate and Seven of overlooking them, and that it’s just a matter of time before the most handsome team in NXT UK adds tag team gold to their resume. A blind tag allows Pretty Deadly to hit Spilled Milk on Seven to pull off a huge upset victory and become the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.
Nathan Frazer vs Noam Dar
(In early September, vignettes begin airing for the arrival of Nathan Frazer (who signs with WWE a few months earlier than he did IRL). It’s later announced that Frazer will make his NXT UK debut at Takeover: Glasgow. Noam Dar goes to NXT UK GM Johnny Saint and requests to be Frazer's first opponent, saying he wants to derail the career of this overhyped prospect and he wants it in his home country of Scotland. Saint accepts Dar’s request. Frazer wins clean on his debut with a Frog Splash.)
British Rounds Rules Tournament Final to crown the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Champion:
A-Kid vs Jordan Devlin (2-1)
In September 2020, NXT UK GM Johnny Saint announces there will be a new championship introduced to NXT UK, The NXT UK Heritage Championship (which is a straight up belt as opposed to a cup, even if it looked pleasant as a trophy). The title will have its own unique match type called 'British Rounds Rules', where matches are contested of 6 3-minute rounds with 20 second breaks in between rounds, while also being a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match. An 8-man tournament is set up to crown the inaugural champion. A-Kid and Jordan Devlin are the two men who make it to the finals, with A-Kid defeating Flash Morgan Webster and Noam Dar, while Devlin defeats Kenny Williams and Dave Mastiff to progress. Devlin says that he's already in possession of one championship, and he'll make it two in Glasgow, because you never bet against an ace. A-Kid says that ever since he arrived in NXT UK last year, he's been doing everything he can to get a chance at gold, and now, he finally has it.)
Fatal Four-Way Match for the NXT UK Women’s Championship:
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Piper Niven vs Jinny w/Joseph Conners vs Isla Dawn
(Despite coming up short in Dublin, Piper Niven wants in more shot at the NXT UK Women's Championship, saying that she may have come up short against Kay Lee Ray twice, but she knows the third time's the charm. NXT UK’s resident Fashionista, Jinny (having taken on Joseph Conners as her advisor), also begins staking her claim for a title shot, saying that it’s an insult that a red-haired troll like Kay Lee Ray has been allowed to tarnish the NXT UK Women's Championship for well over a year, and that needs to change, so Piper can wait in line, because she’s due her just reward. Isla Dawn also gets involved, saying that she has constantly been passed up for title opportunities since day one, and that she's had enough, so she’s going to take what she's been dying to get her hands on, and that’s the NXT UK Women’s Championship. All three women are put into a triple threat number one contender’s match, but it ends in a no contest after KLR attacks all three women, leading to Johnny Saint announcing that KLR will defend her title in a fatal four way match at Takeover: Glasgow. The Psychotic Queen of Scotts says that this is her homecoming, and NXT UK's "forever champion" will show her nation why she’s the most dominant Women’s Champion in WWE history. Niven looks to have the match won after hitting a Piper Driver on Jinny, but KLR breaks up the pinfall with a Superkick, then throws Niven out of the ring and pins Jinny to retain her title.)
NXT UK Championship:
WALTER (c) vs Ilja Dragunov (by Technical Submission)
(Ilja Dragunov wins a number one contenders battle royal on NXT UK to finally earn a shot at the NXT UK Championship. In the build up, WALTER says that both he and Ilja grew up in the same system, they share history together, and he respects Ilja for being an honest, hard-working man with principles and for sharing the same passion for this great sport like him, but everyone else that you put in front of Der Ring General is a great competitor - Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, Dave Mastiff, Joe Coffey, and Finn Bálor - but when he and Ilja meet in Glasgow on that sacred mat, it will be the greatest fight of Ilja's life, because he made Ilja, and he will destroy Ilja, because one thing will never change, and that is Der Ring General as NXT UK Champion and being the one who was chosen to protect and restore honor to this great sport. Dragunov says out of the 20 men selected, he earned the right to challenge WALTER, because when he won that battle royal, he created an opportunity that he has been waiting years for, and just like the respect WALTER has for him, he has that same respect for him, but WALTER has never faced someone with pure unstoppable will, and that pure unstoppable will is what will earn him the NXT UK Championship in Glasgow. This is the exact same five star match that aired on the 10/29/2020 episode of NXT UK, only now it's in front of an actual crowd, who wince at every strike, every blow, and every chop that both men hit each other with. WALTER wins after making Dragunov pass out in a Rear-Naked Choke to retain the NXT UK Championship. Both men receive a standing ovation from the Scottish crowd after the match.)

Hell in a Cell 2020
Date: 25/10/20
Location: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
Pre-Show:
Tucker vs Otis w/Mandy Rose
(Heavy Machinery implode! Following his shocking betrayal at Clash of Champions, Otis says that he was sick and tired of sharing the spotlight with Tucker, who did nothing but hold him back, even when they were a tag team in NXT, so when he finally hooked up with The Goddess of SmackDown, Mandy Rose, he decided that Tucker was replaceable. Tucker says that he always thought of Otis as a brother, but he allowed his head to be turned by that blonde witch, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get his old buddy back. Otis comes out with a new, clean-shaven look with shorter hair. A distraction by Mandy allows Otis to pin Tucker after a Diving Splash.)
Main Show:
Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship:
Drew McIntyre (c) vs Randy Orton
(Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton’s rivalry reaches it’s climax, with both men continuing to brawl and resort to sneak attacks on each other with their lethal finishers. McIntyre says that this needs to end once and for all, and he will finally defang The Viper... inside Hell in a Cell! Orton says he’s walked through hell many times and has scars on his soul that don’t heal, and Drew won’t be walking after he’s done with him.)
Jeff Hardy vs EC3
(EC3 and Jeff Hardy begin feuding after Clash of Champions, following The Top One Percenter making his return from his loss to Aleister Black at SummerSlam. EC3 says that it's been a tough year for him, and he's sick of old timers like Jeff Hardy getting handed opportunities, while he has had to scratch, and claw, and fight to try and turn his year around. Jeff says that EC3 went from an ass kicking machine to a soft and weak failure ever since he lost the United States Championship. Towards the end of the match, as Jeff prepares to land a Swanton Bomb, a tall African American man comes down to the ring. This distracts Hardy and allows EC3 to hit the One Percenter and pick up the win. The following night on Raw, EC3 introduces everyone to his new bodyguard - Omos.)
Singles Match with Zelina Vega as Special Guest Referee:
Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Angel Garza
(After one loss too many, Andrade "Cien" Almas and Angel Garza implode, and they agree to a match to settle their differences. Zelina Vega agrees to be the guest referee for the match. Towards the end of the match, as Almas is about to hit a Hammerlock DDT on Garza, Zelina low blows El Idolo, ending their 3-year partnership. Garza then hits the Wing Clipper on Almas for the win. This is Andrade’s last match in WWE and he is written off TV until he departs to AEW in March 2021.)
Buddy Murphy vs Seth Rollins
(Following their loss to The Mysterio’s at Clash of Champions, Seth Rollins turns on Buddy Murphy. Rollins blames his former disciple for being weak, and not doing a good enough job to help his cause. Murphy says he did everything Rollins asked him to do, he just didn't lead by example in the first place.)
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali (c) vs The Dirty Dawgs
(After both men failed to claim the Money in the Bank briefcase over the summer, The Dirty Dawgs turn their attention to the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. They become number one contender’s after scoring a shock victory over The Street Profits. In the bulld up, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode say that for almost a year, they've been waiting for their chance to get their hands on tag team gold, now they finally have that chance, and they will send Gable and Ali back to the unemployment line. Ali & Gable say that Ziggler and Roode aren’t as good as they think are. A pair of hooded assailants attack Gable and Ali post match, revealing themselves to be Shane Thorne (Not Slapjack) and Nick Miller (recently returned back in April) aka The Mighty. They hit Gable with the Tank Buster, then drop Ali with Thunder Valley before holding up the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.)
Keith Lee vs Braun Strowman
(Braun Strowman’s move back to Raw catches the eye of Keith Lee, who challenges The Monster Among Men to this match. Lee scores another huge win after getting out of a Running Powerslam and hitting Strowman with a Big Bang Catastrophe.)
Hell in a Cell Match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Bayley (c) vs Sasha Banks (by Submission)
(After her return at Clash of Champions, Sasha Banks announces in advance that she's cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Hell in a Cell, inside the same demonic structure that she and Bayley battled inside two years ago. Sasha says that she thought she could forgive Bayley after everything they’ve been through, but after finding out Bayley still doesn't care about anyone except herself, she has to erase Bayley from not just history, but her life, once and for all. Bayley says that she acted like she forgave Sasha and used her to get what she wanted, but now she’ll remind her that she's still a worthless pile of trash when she puts her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Same match as it was in real life, with Sasha wrapping a steel chair around Bayley’s neck and making her former best friend tap out to the Banks Statement to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.)
United States Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/The Hurt Business vs Dominik Dijakovic (by Technical Submission)
(Instead of cosplaying as a Bane reject, Dominik Dijakovic debuts on the Raw after SummerSlam and racks up several impressive victories over the likes of Akira Tozawa, Jinder Mahal, Angel Garza, and Andrade "Cien” Almas along the way. He defeats Keith Lee, Elias and The Miz in a fatal-four way match on the go home episode of Raw to become the number one contender to the United States Championship. Dijakovic says that Lashley may be known as the The Almighty, but he's about to feast his eyes on the new United States Champion. MVP says that Dijakovic is just some beta male who will become Lashley’s next prey. Dijakovic passes out in The Hurt Lock.)
Hell in a Cell I Quit Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - If Jey Uso loses, he has to fall in line, or else he will be exiled from WWE:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Jey Uso
(Roman Reigns continues to torment Jey Uso following the bludgeoning of his cousin at Clash of Champions. Roman says this won't end until Jey acknowledges him as The Tribal Chief. Jimmy Uso acknowledged him, but Jey didn't. Jey challenges Roman to another match at Hell in a Cell, saying that he will finally make Roman quit holding him back. Roman gets Paul Heyman to convince Mickie James to make the match a Hell in a Cell I Quit Match, so he can hear Jey say those two humiliating words. If Jey wins, he will become The Head of the Table, but if he loses, he has to fall in line, or else. This is the same match it was as in real life, with Jey saying "I Quit" after Roman puts Jimmy Uso in the Guillotine Choke.)

The match eventually comes down to Asuka for Raw, and Bianca Belair, Ruby Riott, and Liv Morgan for SmackDown. Champion vs Champion Match:
Bobby Lashley (United States) w/The Hurt Business vs Sami Zayn (Intercontinental) (by Submission)
(Both brands mid-card champions clash. MVP says that Bobby Lashley is what a real champion looks like, unlike Sami Zayn, whose only talent is dressing like a Che Guevara reject and thinking there’s a conspiracy against him. Zayn says Lashley is all muscle and no brains. Near the end of the match, Zayn tries to deliberately get counted out, but MVP throws him back in the ring and Lashley applies The Hurt Lock, forcing Zayn to submit and allowing The Almighty to win.)
Champion vs Champion Match:
Shayna Baszler (Raw Women’s) vs Sasha Banks (SmackDown Women’s) (by Technical Submission)
(There is somewhat of a build to this match. Sasha Banks says if it weren’t for the four horsewomen of NXT paving the way and raising the bar night in and night out, Shayna would still be failing in UFC and living in Ronda Rousey’s shadow. Shayna says she’s surpassed The Boss and her pathetic little fake horsewomen friends down in NXT, and she’ll take great pleasure in breaking her. Towards the end of the match, after a ref bump, Carmella (with her new gimmick) runs out and costs Sasha the match by hitting The Boss with a Superkick. Baszler then applies the Kirifuda Clutch and Banks passes out.)
Men’s Survivor Series Tag Team Match:
Team Raw (EC3, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Keith Lee & Matt Riddle) w/Omos vs Team SmackDown (Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, Ricochet & Jey Uso)
(There is a bit of a build to this match as well. As the match starts, Seth Rollins rolls out of the ring and grabs a microphone. Rollins says that since Team Smackdown won't acknowledge him as their leader and are all against him, he won't be participating in the match as he has better things to do, and since his teammates won't listen to him, SmackDown doesn't deserve him, so he's taking a vacation until the blue brand is willing to listen to The Visionary. This is done to write Rollins off TV for paternity leave. Without Rollins’s leadership, Team SmackDown crumbles, and Team Raw performs a clean sweep, capped off by Keith Lee finishing off Jey Uso with a Spirit Bomb to pick up the win.)
Seth Rollins was intentionally counted out EC3 eliminated Kevin Owens by pinfall Matt Riddle eliminated Ricochet by pinfall Braun Strowman eliminated Aleister Black by pinfall Keith Lee eliminated Jey Uso by pinfall
(Survivors: EC3, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle - Clean Sweep)
Champion vs Champion Match:
Drew McIntyre (WWE) w/Sheamus vs Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight) w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso (by Technical Submission)
In the buildup to this match, Sheamus turns face and befriends Drew McIntyre, reminding him how they broke into the business together, and offering to have his back at Survivor Series. Drew shows up on Smackdown and beats Jey Uso in a match, which causes Roman Reigns to show up on Raw and beat Sheamus in a match. McIntyre says that he advises that Roman keeps underestimating him, because that’s what happened to the last Paul Heyman guy who did that. Roman says that it's embarrassing that someone like Drew has the balls to advise him, because only his special council advises him, and that he isn't the man, but he will be one day when he looks in the mirror, and when he sees the man he's always wanted to be, he will think about all these moments, and he'll love Roman for them. And for all those lessons The Head of The Table has taught Drew, he's going to love Drew right back, because Drew will always be his favourite #2 in the business. Drew debuts his new sword entrance here. Towards the end of the match, Jey Uso tries to interfere, but Sheamus takes him out with a Brogue Kick. This distracts Drew and allows Roman to lock in the Guillotine Choke, causing Drew to pass out.)
Firefly Buried Alive Match:
The Undertaker vs "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
(After SummerSlam, Bray Wyatt appears on an episode of the Firefly Funhouse, now permanently imprisoned there. He talks about how he took the king's crown at SummerSlam, but that was never the crown he wanted. There was another crown promised for him to inherit four years ago at WrestleMania 32, but he was denied that crown and it never came home, and this time, The Fiend will collect it. In the buildup, the Undertaker appears on Raw to announce his impending retirement, and is attacked by The Fiend. After The Fiend disappears, The Undertaker sits up as distorted music plays throughout the arena. The next week, Undertaker returns and says he’s faced all types of monsters over the last three decades, but never one quite like The Fiend. He challenges The Fiend to a Buried Alive match at Survivor Series, which The Fiend accepts. The match starts off in the ring, but The Fiend uses his magic to transport the match over to The Firefly Funhouse, where Bray uses various incarnations of Taker's past, from American Badass Undertaker, to Ministry of Darkness Undertaker, all the way to the debuting Undertaker to try and take out The Deadman, but Taker' overcomes it, and transports the action out of The Funhouse and back to the arena. Kane shows up to try and even the odds for his brother, but it’s still not enough as The Fiend takes out The Big Red Machine with the Mandible Claw. Eventually, Undertaker recovers and prepares to chokeslam The Fiend into the grave, but The Fiend reapplies the Mandible Claw and causes 'Taker to fall into the grave with him, making him pass out. The Fiend then buries The Undertaker for good.)
Final Score:
Raw 4-3 SmackDown

NXT Takeover: WarGames IV
Date: 6/12/20
Location: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Michigan
Women’s WarGames Match:
Team Shotzi (Shotzi Blackheart, Io Shirai, Ember Moon & Rhea Ripley) vs Team LeRae (Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez)
(Following Shotzi Blackheart costing her the NXT Women’s Championship at the NXT Halloween Havoc special in October, Candice LeRae declares war on Shotzi by running over Shotzi's tank. NXT’s Resident Renegade decides to get even with Candice, and challenges her to a WarGames match. Candice picks Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez to be on her team, with a mystery 4th person soon to be announced. Shotzi picks NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai, Rhea Ripley, and Toni Storm to be on her team, until Toni turns heel and attacks Blackheart a week before the go home episode of NXT, revealing herself to be the fourth woman on Candice’s team. Shotzi then brings in Ember Moon (having returned to NXT after Takeover: Toronto) to be the 4th member of her team. Gonzalez gets the win for her team by pinning Shirai.)
Tommaso Ciampa vs Timothy Thatcher
(Following a squash victory over Tyler Rust on NXT, Timothy Thatcher catches the attention of Tommaso Ciampa, who challenges him to a match at WarGames, which Thatcher accepts. The pair continue feuding following this match, which leads to a Fight Pit match on the 01/19/2021 episode of NXT, which Thatcher wins. This then leads to Ciampa and Thatcher becoming tag team partners.)
Strap Match:
KUSHIDA vs Cameron Grimes (by Submission)
(Cameron Grimes begins feuding with KUSHIDA after costing him a North American Championship match against Damian Priest in mid October. The Time Splitter returns the favour by costing Grimes a number one contender’s match with Bronson Reed. The Technical Savage, still enraged after losing to Priest in Toronto, says that he won’t allow a poor man’s Marty McFly to be handed an opportunity at his own expense, and challenges him to a Strap Match at WarGames. KUSHIDA accepts and says Grimes is just a loudmouth who needs to be humbled.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT North American Championship:
Johnny Gargano (c) vs Damian Priest vs Bronson Reed
(Two weeks after his title win over Damian Priest, Johnny Gargano says that he is The Heart of NXT, and if he doesn't have a title, that heart won't get to see it's final beat. But now that he’s North American Champion, that same heart will beat stronger, faster, and better than it has ever beaten before. The following week, during his match with Leon Ruff, Priest interferes in the match by slapping Gargano, which sees Johnny Wrestling win, but by DQ. Gargano angrily attacks The Archer of Infamy backstage for thinking he’s a joke, saying he’ll take on all comers to his title. Bronson Reed gets added to this match after defeating Cameron Grimes, saying that he’ll beat both Gargano and Priest and become the new NXT North American Champion. Towards the end of the match, Priest prepares to hit The Reckoning on Gargano, when an assailant in a Ghostface mask runs out and hits Priest with a lead pipe, taking him out of the match. Gargano recovers and lands a One Final Beat DDT on Reed to retain the title. The Ghostface assailant unmasks and is revealed to be Austin Theory.)
Men’s WarGames Match:
The Undisputed Era vs The Kings of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch)
(On the 10/20/20 episode of NXT, Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish are scheduled to compete for the NXT Tag Team Championship against Breezeango, but are mysteriously attacked backstage, leading to Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch filling in as their replacements on short notice. Towards the end of the match, a fan in a hooded top pushes Fandango off the top rope to the ringside floor while the referee’s back is turned. Burch then low blows Breeze, which allows Lorcan and Burch to hit The Tower of London to win the titles, turning heel. The fan takes off his hood post-match, revealing that it's Pat McAfee. McAfee reveals that he, Oney, and Danny attacked The Undisputed Era backstage to take their place in this match. The following week, Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly confront McAfee and his goons over this, but are ambushed by a returning Pete Dunne, who also turns heel and aligns with McAfee. Fed up with McAfee running his mouth and constantly grandstanding everything, The UE challenge the so-called "Kings of NXT" to this match, to finally rid the black and gold brand of McAfee. McAfee accepts and vows that his team of winners will hammer the last nail into the UE’s coffin. O’Reilly gets the deciding pinfall after a diving knee drop from the top of the cage onto Lorcan.)

TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2020
Date: 20/12/20
Location: Allstate Arena, Rosemont, Illinois
Pre-Show:
Raw Tag Team Championship:
The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) (c) w/MVP vs The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
(With Big E now on Smackdown, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods decide to carry on The New Day as a duo. They defeat The Miz and John Morrison on Raw to become the number one contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship. MVP says that Big E was the heart and soul of The New Day, and without him, The New Day means nothing. Kingston and Woods say that even though Big E is no longer part of the New Day, that won't stop them from kicking their asses)
Main Show:
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the WWE Championship:
Drew McIntyre (c) w/Sheamus vs EC3 w/Omos
(After clean sweeping Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, Adam Pearce grants EC3 (for being the captain of Team Raw) a WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre at TLC. EC3 says that McIntyre has no idea what he's getting himself into, because they're both stepping into uncharted territory, and he can't lose as long as Omos is by his side, because Drew is going to receive the ass-kicking of a lifetime. McIntyre says he doesn't have a problem with EC3, in fact, they’ve both had breakout years, and they’ve both earned their success the hard way, but the difference between them now is that he’s WWE Champion, and EC3 now hides behind that skyscraper of a bodyguard like a coward, and all it takes is one Claymore to send him back to irrelevancy.)
SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Sasha Banks (c) vs Carmella w/Reginald (by Submission)
(After Carmella attacked Sasha Banks during her match with Shayna Baszler at Survivor Series, The Boss demands a match with The Princess of Staten Island at TLC. Mickie James agrees to make the match. Sasha says that Carmella may have got her attention, but it came at a price, because Carmella isn't in her league. Carmella says that men are obsessed with her, and that makes Sasha’s blood boil, because Sasha has had to shed blood, sweat, and tears to make it to WWE, while Carmella is so naturally talented that everything came easy for her the second she set foot in the WWE, because she's superior to Sasha in every single way, and she’ll back up her words at TLC.)
Lumberjack Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Sami Zayn (c) vs Big E
(After his battle royal victory at Survivor Series, Mickie James grants Big E a shot at Sami Zayn's Intercontinental Championship. Big E says that Sami has built up quite the reputation over the past year, a count out win here, an exposed turnbuckle there, and his margin for error is razor-thin, but in the ring, Sami is like a lab rat running a maze, and he’s the pest exterminator who will bring his reputation crumbling down around him. Sami says that he's disappointed in Big E, he really thought he was different from everyone else, but he's just like the higher-ups in WWE, diminishing him at every turn and never showing him the respect he deserves, while coming across as bitter ever since his New Day buddies left him to fend for himself, because the last time Big E held the Intercontinental Championship was 7 years ago, the last time he was relevant by himself. Initially, both men have a title match on the 11/12/2020 episode of SmackDown, which Sami wins by count-out after hiding under the ring for most of the match. A displeased Mickie James sets up a rematch for TLC, but to ensure Sami can't hide under the ring or run away, it's going to be... a Lumberjack Match! At the end of the match, Sami accidentally begins mouthing off to both Cesaro and Daniel Bryan, who lay out Zayn with an Uppercut and a Knee Plus, respectively. This allows Big E to hit a Big Ending on Zayn to become a 2 time Intercontinental Champion.)
Ricochet vs Aleister Black
(Two former tag team partners collide! The feud begins at Survivor Series when accidental miscommunication between Ricochet and Aleister Black causes The Future of Flight to be eliminated from Team SmackDown during the men’s 5-on-5 match. This lead to a brief argument between both men, which also causes The Dutch Destroyer to be eliminated. A few weeks later, Black attacks Ricochet after his match with Otis. Black says that the 2 of them have had very different trajectories since they went their separate ways a year ago - he started off as the strong one, reigning as Intercontinental Champion for 8 months, whilst Ricochet struggled to make a name for himself, and then all of a sudden, the shift in power changed, he began failing every major opportunity, whilst Ricochet became a star, so at TLC, he restores the balance in power back to his favour. Ricochet says that Black has gone off the deep end since they split, his right eye is messed up, and so is his sanity, which he'll restore for him at TLC. A back and forth encounter ends with Ricochet scoring the win after a 630.)
Tables Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali vs The Mighty
(Following their attack on Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali at Survivor Series, Nick Miller reveals that when he returned and saw that his former tag team partner was lost in the shuffle in NXT for two long years, they decided to leave Florida and make an impact, and that starts with becoming the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions within 4 mere weeks, because they are The Mighty, and The Mighty don’t kneel, and Gable and Ali will kiss those titles goodbye. Ali & Gable say that The Mighty will fade back into obscurity when all is said and done.)
Triple Threat Ladder Match for the United States Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/The Hurt Business vs Dominik Dijakovic vs Matt Riddle
(Despite his loss at Hell in a Cell, Dominik Dijakovic continues to hunt for Bobby Lashley's United States Championship. Matt Riddle gets added to this match following his role on Team Raw clean sweeping Team SmackDown, saying that even though he'd rather take the high road to the US Title, bro, he won't let an opportunity like this slip away. Lashley just wants to inflict violence on both men.)
Eight-Man Tag Team Match:
Keith Lee, Jeff Hardy & Lucha House Party vs Randy Orton, AJ Styles, The Miz & John Morrison
(Instead of setting a dummy Bray Wyatt on fire, having Alexa Bliss shoot a fireball into his face, snd wearing a gimp mask to hide the burns, Randy Orton targets Keith Lee after Survivor Seires, with both men getting into a brawl for weeks after a routine win for The Limitless One over Elias. On the go home episode of Raw, Lee is invited onto an episode of Miz TV, where The Miz & John Morrison take numerous jabs at Lee for his brief NXT Championship run and for being overhyped, which leads to Lee attacking Miz & Morrison, only for Lee to be RKO-ed from behind by The Viper. Orton, Miz, and Morrison beat down Lee, until Lucha House Party run down to even the odds. This leads to a six-man tag team match later on in the evening. Before the match starts, AJ Styles runs his mouth about Lee in a backstage interview, which Lee overhears. This leads to the pair getting physical and having to be separated, while the six-man tag team match ends in a DQ when Styles runs down and attacks The Limitless One until Jeff Hardy (currently embroiled in a feud with Styles) runs down to even up the odds. Sensing the conflict, Adam Pearce makes an eight-man tag team match for TLC. Lee scores the biggest win of his career so far, when he pins Orton after countering an RKO into a Big Bang Catastrophe.)
Chairs Match for the Raw Women’s Championship:
Shayna Baszler (c) vs Alexa Bliss (by Technical Submission)
(The increasingly unhinged Alexa Bliss, wins a battle royal on Raw to become number one contender to the Raw Women's Championship. Shayna says that Bliss is becoming a problem, and she’ll show her how she deals with problems, especially those who don’t know when to quit. Alexa says that she wants to play with Shayna at TLC, and she’ll unleash all types of havoc on her. Baszler makes Bliss pass out in the Kirifuda Clutch. And doesn’t end up running away from a doll either (Seriously, WWE, WTF were you thinking?!)
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso vs Kevin Owens
(Following Survivor Series, Roman Reigns is disgusted that SmackDown lost the men’s five on five tag team match, making his win over Drew McIntyre meaningless, so he vows to take out the SmackDown roster one by one until they acknowledge him. He starts off with Daniel Bryan, then Otis, Ricochet, and others who get in his way. He tries to attack Kevin Owens, but KO fights back by powerbombing Jey Uso through the announce table. Owens says that for someone who says family is important, Reigns treats his family like trash. Jey then challenges Owens to a match the following week, and loses. Owens tries to powerbomb Jey through the announce table again, but Reigns runs out and attacks KO. Roman then stares down a camera and warns KO's family "I'm the man who puts the roof over your head, I'm the guy who puts the food on your table, and if you don't talk some sense into Kevin, I'm gonna be the guy who takes the food off the table". Sensing the bad blood between both men, Mickie James makes this match a TLC match. Owens says he’ll make Reigns pay for threatening his family.)

NXT UK Takeover: London
Date: 10/1/21
Location: O2 Arena, London, England
NXT Cruiserweight Championship:
Jordan Devlin (c) vs Nathan Frazer
(Following his debut in Glasgow, Nathan Frazer goes on a small winning streak with victories over the likes of Jack Starz and Joseph Conners, before defeating Oliver Carter to become number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship. Frazer says he came to WWE to have gold around his waist, and he’s wasted no time in putting Jordan Devlin on notice to achieve that goal. Devlin, still embroiled in an ongoing pay dispute, says he’s been busting his ass off for over a year as Cruiserweight Champion, but William Regal and the suits across the pond at NXT still aren’t paying him the 6 figures that he's worth, and they’re aren’t even recognising him as the official champion, so he's going prove to Regal and the world why he's the real Cruiserweight Champion when he runs through Frazer at Takeover: London. This is the same match that aired on the 7/1/2021 episode of NXT UK.)
Rampage Brown vs Joe Coffey
(Rampage Brown debuts in NXT UK in mid to late October. After several dominant victories over the likes of Saxon Huxley, Jack Starz, and Dave Mastiff, he catches the eye of Joe Coffey. Coffey says he and Rampage crossed paths before in Progress and WCPW, but now NXT UK is his kingdom, and he’ll do whatever it takes to defend it. He challenges Brown to this match. Brown accepts and says he welcomes the Iron King’s challenge. This is the same hard-hitting hoss fight it was on the 18/2/21 episode of NXT UK, only moved to this event. Both men shake hands after this match.)
NXT UK Tag Team Championship:
Pretty Deadly (c) vs Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)
(Gallus defeat Amir Jordan & Kenny Williams to become number one contenders to the NXT UK Tag Team Championship, Pretty Deadly say that in the early days of this brand's history, Gallus elevated this division, but they've become stale, and it's up to them to ensure that the division doesn't get dragged down to their stale level. Mark Coffey & Wolfgang say that it's been a long time since The Gallus Boys were on top, and despite all the setbacks, this is still their kingdom, like it has been since day 1, and as for Lewis and Sam, their behaviour is going to cost them their titles, and a broken jaw each, in London. This is the same match as the 18/2/2021 episode of NXT UK, only moved to this event.)
NXT UK Women’s Championship:
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs Meiko Satomura
(The legendary Meiko Satomura joins NXT UK in early November (3 months earlier than IRL), and immediately catches the eye of Kay Lee Ray. After several dominant victories over the likes of Isla Dawn, Dani Luna, and Nina Samuels, Meiko reveals her reasons for coming to NXT UK. She’s says she's dominated every promotion she’s been part of, from WXW and Progress in the UK, all the way to Stardom and Sendai Girls in Japan and back again, and now she’s in NXT UK for one purpose - to end KLR’s title reign. KLR says she considers Meiko one of the absolute best women’s wrestlers in the world, and that she needs to beat the best to solidify her spot as the greatest NXT UK Women’s Champion of all time. This is the same 20 minute gem as it was in real life on the 10/6/21 episode of NXT UK, only moved to this event. Meiko wins with a Scorpio Rising to become the new NXT UK Women’s Champion and end KLR’s 498 day reign as champion, marking it as the 2nd longest women's title reign of the modern era behind Asuka’s 523 day reign as NXT Women’s Champion. KLR bows to Meiko in a show of respect after the match.)
NXT UK Championship:
WALTER (c) vs A-Kid
(Following his monumental win in Glasgow, A-Kid declares that his next step is very clear, and that he wants to be the first ever man in NXT UK history to be NXT UK Champion and NXT UK Heritage Champion. WALTER says that watching A-Kid win the tournament was impressive, but how dare he claim to represent the heritage of this great sport, and that his fairytale will end once he steps into the ring with The Ring General. Johnny Saint makes this match official during a contract signing between both men. This is exactly the same match they had on the 14/1/21 episode of NXT UK, but in front of a live crowd. WALTER wins with a brutal short arm lariat to retain his title.)
