Royal Rumble 2021Date: 31/1/21 Location: T-Mobile Park, Seattle, Washington Pre-Show:SmackDown Women’s Championship - Reginald banned from ringside:Sasha Banks (c) vs Carmella (by Submission)(After TLC, Carmella continues to target Sasha Banks and the Smackdown Women's Championship. The Princess of Staten Island says that Sasha's win at TLC was a sheer fluke, and she won't be so lucky at the Royal Rumble. The Boss says she'll give Carmella a rematch if her bellboy is nowhere in sight.) Main Show:Winner Take All Match for the WWE Championship and the United States Championship:Drew McIntyre (WWE) w/Sheamus vs Bobby Lashley (US) w/The Hurt Business)(After his victory over EC3 at TLC, Drew McIntyre comes out on an episode of Raw and claims that he's now beaten almost everyone there is to beat, and the list of potential challengers gets smaller every day. The Hurt Business interrupt, with MVP calling McIntyre a coward who claims to have beaten everyone on the Raw roster, except Bobby Lashley, and that he won't face The Almighty because he’s scared he'll lose like the soft little b*tch he is. Drew shuts up MVP with a Claymore before getting attacked by the rest of The Hurt Business. The following week, MVP issues a challenge to McIntyre for the WWE Championship on Lashley's behalf, saying that Lashley is so confident he'll win, he's willing to put his United States Championship on the line as a bonus. Drew says that MVP just made a mistake issuing this challenge for his client, because it's going to end badly. Towards the end of the match, the referee takes an accidental Claymore from McIntyre, which leads to Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander attacking Drew, until Sheamus fights both of them off. Sheamus then prepares to hit Lashley with a Brogue Kick, but intentionally hits McIntyre instead, turning heel, and then heading to the back while the crowd boos. Lashley then hits a Spear on the Celtic Colossus as a new referee runs down to log the three count, allowing The Almighty to become a double champion and ending McIntyre’s 301 day reign as WWE Champion.) SmackDown Tag Team Championship:Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali (c) vs Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez(In the weeks following TLC, Apollo Crews loses back to back singles match to Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali on SmackDown, where Apollo snaps and turns heel by attacking both men afterward. In mid January, Crews comes out sporting new ring attire, a scarf, and a staff, claiming to now fully acknowledge his roots as Nigerian royalty. Ali & Gable says that Crews is losing his sanity, and they’re going to bring the real Apollo back. Before this match starts, Crews reveals his tag team partner to be the debuting and mammoth Commander Azeez, who gets the pin on Ali after a Nigerian Nail, which allows Crew and Azeez to become the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions.) No Holds Barred Match to determine the #30 entrant in the Royal Rumble Match:Edge vs Randy Orton (Edge returns from his triceps injury in early January and renews hostilities with Randy Orton. The Viper says he did what he had to do to protect Edge from being wheelchair-bound, but Edge is so selfish that he doesn’t have the courage to say thank you for saving him from being paralysed. The Rated-R Superstar says he will dispose of this bitter junkie who's been obsessed with him for the past 15 years. This is the same match that aired on the 01/2/2021 episode of Raw, but with no Alexa Bliss interference or black goo.) Bad Bunny Segment:(Following his performance of his song "Booker T", Bad Bunny is approached by The Miz & John Morrison backstage, who ask him to be their manager, which he declines. This sets WrestleMania 37 in motion.) Women’s Royal Rumble Match:

Rhea Ripley (by Bianca Belair)Bianca Belair (#3) wins by last eliminating Rhea Ripley (#14) Raw Women’s Championship:Shayna Baszler (c) vs Charlotte Flair (by Technical Submission)(Instead of that dreadful angle with Ric Flair and Lacey Evans (F**k Vince), Charlotte Flair returns in December 2020 and targets Shayna Baszler’s Raw Women’s Championship. The Queen of Spades says it’s cute that Charlotte thinks she's the hero in this situation, but she's been vilified by the fans for so long because they can't stand the sight of her, and nobody wants to see her at all. Charlotte says that Shayna may have dominated just about everyone there is to dominate, but they weren't real competition, and she needs to defeat The Queen herself if she wants to be taken seriously as Raw Women's Champion. Shayna makes Charlotte pass out in the Kirifuda Clutch, scoring a huge victory.) Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Kevin Owens (After their war at TLC, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens have a rematch on the following SmackDown on Christmas Day inside a steel cage, where Roman wins, thanks to Jey Uso handcuffing Owens to the cage. Following this match, The Tribal Chief confronts SmackDown GM Mickie James, for making him have to beat Owens again, and thinks she's doing a poor job as Smackdown GM. Mickie, refusing to be intimidated, tells Roman that she’s in charge and that he doesn’t make the matches. Roman hands Paul Heyman a note supposedly "written from Vince McMahon himself" saying that a gauntlet match will determine Reigns’ next opponent next week. The match itself comes down to Rey Mysterio and Sami Zayn, which ends in a no contest after Reigns and Jey Uso attack both men. The following week, Mickie reveals that she talked with Vince, and that the note is a load of crap, which means she can handpick Roman's opponent at the Rumble, with Mickie picking Kevin Owens. Roman says that Owens is a cockroach that just won't die, no matter how many times he tries to crush him. Owens says that Roman went from being The Big Dog to being dependent on Jey Uso like a complete p*ssy. Mickie makes the match a Last Man Standing match to end this intense feud. Same match as in real life, which includes the infamous golfcart spot, only now in front of a crowd, and Roman getting the win after choking Owens out with the Guillotine Choke.) NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day
Date: 14/2/21
Location: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, Louisiana
Shotzi Blackheart w/Ember Moon vs Candice LeRae w/Indi Hartwell
(Not much story here. Shotzi Blackheart continues her feud with Candice LeRae after The Poison Pixie taunts Blackheart over her team’s loss at WarGames. This prompts Shotzi to attack Candice and challenge her to this match. LeRae’s new protégé, Indi Hartwell, tries to interfere, but Ember Moon takes her out with an Eclipse on the floor. This distraction allows LeRae to hit a Wicked Stepsister on Shotzi to get the win. Hartwell disappears from TV due to the injury afterwards.)
NXT North American Championship:
Johnny Gargano (c) vs KUSHIDA
(Following Takeover: WarGames, Johnny Gargano forms "The Way" with Candice LeRae and Austin Theory. KUSHIDA becomes a target for The Way after he saves Leon Ruff from a beatdown at the hands of Gargano and Theory. In the build up, Johnny tries to fake an injury, and says that KUSHIDA should be suspended indefinitely for "injuring" him, but both William Regal and The Time Splitter successfully manage to prove that The Tuesday Knight is faking said injury. Before the match, Bronson Reed attacks Theory (who had insulted Reed backstage on the go home episode of NXT) to prevent Gargano from getting any help in this match. Despite this setback, Johnny Wrestling retains with a One Final Beat DDT.)
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals:
MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) vs Grizzled Young Veterans
(MSK debut in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as a mystery team, and defeat Leon Ruff and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Drake Maverick & Killian Dain, and Legado Del Fantasma to make it to the finals, while the GYV beat Ever-Rise, Lucha House Party, and Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher to make it to the finals.)
NXT Women’s Championship:
Io Shirai (c) vs Raquel Gonzalez w/Dakota Kai
(After being pinned by Raquel Gonzalez at Takeover: WarGames, Io Shirai handpicks Gonzalez to be her next opponent. Io says she's never faced anyone like Gonzalez before, but since she was the one who pinned her at WarGames, she needs to get that win back. Kai tries to convince Raquel to give the shot to her, since Raquel is her bodyguard. Raquel says that she loves Dakota, but she needs to do this for herself. During the match, a referee bump allows Kai and Gonzalez to double team Io. Kai attempts a big boot as Raquel holds up Shirai in the corner, but The Genius of the Skies moves and Kai nails her bodyguard. Io takes out Kai, and then lands a pair of moonsaults on Gonzalez to retain her title.)
NXT Championship:
Finn Bálor (c) vs Pete Dunne w/Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch
(Finn Bálor returns from his broken jaw and challenges Kyle O'Reilly to a rematch on the New Year's Evil special of NXT, which Bálor wins. Bálor is then attacked by Pete Dunne after the match. The Bruiserweight says he knew one day his paths would cross with Balor, and the only reason Balor still has the NXT Championship is because he hasn't decided to take it from him yet. Finn says that he knows that what he's in possession of makes him a target, and he's always wanted to face Dunne, but Dunne’s become a coward who hides behind his two stooges, and he hopes the old Pete Dunne shows up at Vengeance Day, because if he doesn’t, he will suffer. Following the match, The Undisputed Era come out to celebrate with Bálor, until Adam Cole stuns the New Orleans crowd by superkicking The Prince. Cole then also hits a pair of superkicks on Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong, breaking up The Undisputed Era.)

Elimination Chamber 2021
Date: 21/2/21
Location: Enterprise Center, St. Louis, Missouri
Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso vs Kevin Owens vs Cesaro vs Daniel Bryan vs King Corbin vs Ricochet
(After the Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns proclaims to be the most dominant World Heavyweight Champion of all time, and he will make everyone on SmackDown acknowledge him for that. Mickie James sets up an Elimination Chamber for the title, with Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Ricochet, Cesaro, and King Corbin all qualifying for the match. Before the match begins, Seth Rollins (who has begun feuding with Cesaro) makes his entrance and joins the commentary team. And The Architect’s presence is soon revealed as he hops off commentary to distract Cesaro, causing The Swiss Superman to be eliminated via a Stunner from Owens. Reigns, Ricochet, and Bryan are the final three participants. As Bryan is about to hit Knee Plus on The Tribal Chief, Edge (still livid about being eliminated by Bryan at the Royal Rumble) somehow breaks into the chamber and lays out Bryan with a Spear, which allows Roman to hit a Spear of his own on Bryan to eliminate him. Ricochet puts up a spirited performance, but misses a 630 and Reigns hits another Spear to retain the World Championship.)
Submission Match for the Raw Women’s Championship:
Shayna Baszler (c) vs Charlotte Flair
(Both women agree to one last match following the Royal Rumble, debating which submission is better - The Kirifuda Clutch or The Figure Eight. Following this match, Rhea Ripley comes out and stares down Baszler.)
Triple Threat Match for the vacant United States Championship:
Jeff Hardy vs The Miz w/John Morrison vs Matt Riddle
(After Bobby Lashley becomes WWE Champion at the Royal Rumble, The Almighty vacates the United States Championship the following night on Raw, with Adam Pearce announcing a new champion will be crowned at Elimination Chamber. Matt Riddle, Jeff Hardy, and The Miz all win qualifying matches to get in the match. Dominik Dijakovic also originally qualifies for this match, but when Keith Lee is hospitalised for heart inflammation, he is pulled from the WWE Championship number one contender’s Elimination Chamber Match, and Dijakovic is pulled from this match so he can replace Lee, making this match a triple threat. As Miz prepares to hit a Skull Crushing Finale on Hardy, a Bad Bunny distraction and Damian Priest brawling with John Morrison on the outside allows Riddle to hit Miz with the Bro Derek to become the new United States Champion.)
Singles Match with Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania SmackDown Women’s Championship Match on the line:
Bianca Belair vs Natalya
(Following her victory at the Royal Rumble, Bianca Belair chooses to challenge for Sasha Banks' Smackdown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 37. In an effort to raise the stakes, Sonya Deville (hired by WWE management to be Mickie James’ assistant, despite Mickie insisting she doesn’t need one) puts her in a match with Natalya, with Belair’s title shot on the line. Natalya says she’s been sitting on the sidelines for too long, and she’s not going to let a rookie like Belair steal her spotlight. Belair says Natalya needs to step aside, because the EST of the WWE is going nowhere. Belair wins clean with a KOD.)
Fatal Five-Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Big E (c) vs Sami Zayn w/Sami’s documentary crew vs vs Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega vs Aleister Black vs Otis w/Mandy Rose
(After Big E humiliated him at TLC, Sami Zayn promises to get his Intercontinental Championship back from the paper champion that Big E is, and expose the locker room conspiracy against him. Angel Garza gets involved in this feud after pinning Big E in a match on SmackDown following a distraction by Zayn. Zelina Vega says that no one wants to see this homeless man that has cameras following him everywhere he goes, and it’s time that wrestling royalty like Angel Garza gets his rightful shot at the IC title. Aleister Black (who turns face shortly after the Royal Rumble after saving Kalisto from a beatdown by Otis) and Otis are added to the match after Black has a non title match against Big E, which ends in a DQ after Otis attacks both men. Black says he will tear all 4 of his opponent’s souls apart to become a 2 time Intercontinental Champion. Mandy Rose says that after Otis dropped all of that dead weight known as Tucker, there is now nothing holding him back, and nothing standing in the way between him and championship gold. Mickie James announces a fatal five way match to determine a clear winner. A chaotic match ends when Zayn attempts a Helluva Kick, only for Big E to counter into a Big Ending to retain his title.)
WWE Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/The Hurt Business vs Randy Orton (by Technical Submission)
(After his victory at the Royal Rumble, The Hurt Business hold a WWE Championship celebration for Bobby Lashley on Raw. It’s interrupted by Randy Orton (slowly transitioning into a babyface role), who gives The Almighty an RKO, sending a message that he wants a title shot. The Viper says that it's embarrassing that it took Lashley sixteen years to become WWE Champion, when it only took him five years, and he can't wait to see the look on Bobby's face when he loses his title after only 21 days as champion. MVP says that Orton has just dug his own grave, and The Almighty will shovel the dirt on him at Elimination Chamber. The Viper appears to be on his way to his 7th WWE Championship after countering a Spear into an RKO, only for MVP to put Lashley’s foot on the bottom rope. Orton attempts a second RKO, but Lashley counters into The Hurt Lock, forcing The Viper to pass out and allowing The Almighty to retain the WWE Championship.)
Elimination Chamber Match to determine the #1 Contender to the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37:
Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus vs EC3 w/Omos vs AJ Styles vs Dominik Dijakovic vs Braun Strowman
(With Shinsuke Nakamura making it clear that he will challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 37, Adam Pearce sets up an Elimination Chamber match to determine who will challenge for the WWE Championship, with Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, EC3, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, and Keith Lee all being announced as participants for the match. Lee is pulled from the match the day before this event due heart inflammation, leading to Dominik Dijakovic taking his place.)
Elimination Chamber Notes:
World Heavyweight Championship:
Daniel Bryan and Ricochet start the match
Daniel Bryan enters the match first and is eliminated fourth by Roman Reigns
Ricochet enters the match second and is eliminated fifth by Roman Reigns
King Corbin enters the match third and is eliminated first by Ricochet

Fastlane 2021
Date: 21/3/21
Location: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
Pre-Show:
Aleister Black vs Otis w/Mandy Rose
(After both men fail to win the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber, Aleister Black and Otis continue to feud with each other, which leads to a match between both men at Fastlane. Mandy Rose says that all of Aleister's smoke and mirrors won't get to Otis, because Otis will crush him like he has everyone else over the last 6 months. Black says that he is number one in violence for a reason, Otis may be a monster, but he is nowhere near as violent as him, and this obscene Beauty and the Beast pairing will meet it’s demise. A distraction by Mandy allows Otis to pick up the win with a Diving Splash.)
Main Show:
Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs The IIconics
(Instead of being split up and placed into nothing tag teams and comedy angle’s due to bad creative, the future IInspiration begin a small feud with the "can they co-exist?" team of Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair following Elimination Chamber. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay say that they don't care if Sasha and Bianca are opponents at WrestleMania, it matters that they're their opponents, and they won't come out victorious. At the end of the match, Belair is about to hit Royce with the KOD, but as she's about to hit the move, Banks tags herself in. Bianca hits the KOD and goes for the pin on Royce, but she’s not the legal woman. Sasha and Bianca begin arguing, which Peyton capitalises on by pushing Sasha into Bianca, then rolling up The Boss for the win. Banks turns heel on The EST post match.)
Intercontinental Championship:
Big E (c) vs Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega
(Angel Garza and Big E’s feud heats up following Elimination Chamber. Zelina Vega says that Big E had his moment for the fans to cheer for him, but now no one cares, because his reign as Intercontinental Champion is lacklustre and stale, just like his last one 8 years ago, and Angel Garza will gladly end it. Big E says that Garza is just some poor man's Andrade "Cien" Almas, from the greasy hair, to the one thousand megawatt smile, and the fake cockiness, and he even stole his valet.)
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez (c) vs The Street Profits
(The Street Profits defeat The Mighty, The Mysterios and The Dirty Dawgs in a fatal four way match on SmackDown to become the number one contenders. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins say that Apollo was already doing great things, he doesn't need to resort to turning into a Black Panther reject to prove his point. Apollo says that he is disappointed that men he considers his brothers are mocking him for going back to his roots, and he will make them suffer for it.)
Stretcher Match with Shinsuke Nakamura’s World Heavyweight Title Shot at WrestleMania 37 on the line:
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jey Uso w/Paul Heyman
(After declaring that he will challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 37, Shinsuke Nakamura begins playing mind games with The Tribal Chief. Reigns then orders Jey Uso to make sure that Nakamura doesn't make it to WrestleMania, so he goes to Mickie James and demands that The King of Strong Style put his World Heavyweight title shot on the line. Nakamura accepts, but requests that the match be a Stretcher Match so he can make Roman’s attack dog feel the same pain he felt back at SummerSlam last year after Paul Heyman betrayed him. Jey vows to hospitalise Nakamura and prevent him from getting to The Tribal Chief. An intense battle sees Nakamura prevail and keep his WrestleMania main event spot intact.)
Mustafa Ali w/Chad Gable vs Seth Rollins
(After costing Cesaro an opportunity to become World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber, Seth Rollins beats down Cesaro during an in ring segment on SmackDown, with Mustafa Ali running down to chase The Messiah off. Ali challenges Rollins to a match at Fastlane, which Rollins accepts. Ali looks set to win after hitting the 054, but Chad Gable pulls the referee out of the ring and heads to the back, turning heel. This distracts Ali long enough for Rollins to recover and hit Ali with the Curb Stomp to get the win. Gable beats down Ali post match.)
Raw Tag Team Championship:
The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) (c) w/MVP & Bobby Lashley vs Lucha House Party
(Lucha House Party defeat The Miz and John Morrison on Raw to become the number one contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championships due to a distraction by Damian Priest & Bad Bunny. MVP says that LHP, especially Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado, have been irrelevant for years, and how they are still challenging for tag team championships is laughable. LHP say that they don't care if MVP thinks they’re relevant or not, because they're walking out with the Raw Tag Team Championships at Fastlane. The Hurt Business win this match after Lashley lays out Metalik with a vicious Spear at ringside. This allows Alexander to hit a distracted Dorado with a Lumbar Check to retain the titles.)
Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn
(On the SmackDown after Elimination Chamber, Sami Zayn convinces Kevin Owens to be on commentary on one of his matches to point out anything that proves there is a conspiracy against him. Owens tells Sami that he can’t see anything that proves there is a conspiracy against him, and that he's just making this up. Sami snaps at this and viciously attacks Owens, which leads to Mickie James making this match. Before the match, Zayn manages to convince Logan Paul (nobody likes him either, me included), that there is a conspiracy against him, which leads to Logan running down to distract Owens, which allows Sami to hit a Helluva Kick and get one over on his former bitter rival.)
No Holds Barred Match - If Drew McIntyre wins, he will be added to the WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania 37:
Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus
(Scotland vs Ireland. Drew McIntyre admits he got complacent at Elimination Chamber, and he wants revenge on Sheamus for screwing him out of the WWE Championship, a title he held with pride for 301 days. Sheamus says that he's been wanting to kick Drew's arse for 20 years, and he'll finally get what’s coming to him at Fastlane. Adam Pearce adds this stipulation that if Drew wins, he will be added to the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 37. This is the same match they had on the 01/03/21 episode of Raw, with The Celtic Colossus winning after countering a Brogue Kick into a Claymore. Bobby Lashley attacks both men post match.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso vs Ricochet (by Technical Submission)
(On the SmackDown after Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns says that his win inside the Chamber was overshadowed by Edge costing Daniel Bryan the match, and how no one is talking about his victory. Ricochet interrupts and says that all Reigns cares about is the spotlight and people acknowledging him, but he’ll acknowledge him as a punk ass bitch who hides behind Jey Uso and is too scared to fight like a man. Jey intervenes and say that Ricochet lost fair and square, so he better fall in line, or he’ll make him fall in line. Ricochet then beats Jey the following week thanks to a distraction by Shinsuke Nakamura to earn himself another opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship. A 30 minute classic sees Ricochet seemingly having a counter for every one of Roman’s moves. The match ends when The Tribal Chief rolls out of the way to avoid a 630 and crushes Ricochet with a Spear. Reigns then applies the Guillotine Choke, making The One and Only pass out. After the match, Shinsuke Nakamura lays out Reigns with a Kinshasa and holds up the World Heavyweight Championship as Fastlane goes off the air.)

NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver
Date: 7/4/21 and 8/4/21
Location: Amalie Arena, Tampa, Florida
Night 1:
Cameron Grimes vs Pete Dunne
(Cameron Grimes returns from injury in early February, now with his millionaire gimmick after investing money in GameStop. Grimes (now a tweener) approaches Pete Dunne backstage following his loss to Finn Bálor at Takeover: Vengeance Day, saying that The Bruiserweight is good, but not that good, and with his money, he could really turn his career around. Dunne says that he doesn't need help from some hillbilly mogul, which leads to this match. Dunne wins clean with a Bitter End.)
KUSHIDA vs LA Knight
(The former Eli Drake makes his debut at Takeover: Vengeance Day, saying that NXT is now his game, and that’s just a fact of life. Knight begins going after KUSHIDA, saying that he will send this Marty McFly cosplayer back to the future with bruises at Takeover: Stand & Deliver. KUSHIDA says that this knockoff Rock should have never came to NXT, because he’s going to make him tap out and humble him.)
NXT UK Championship:
WALTER (c) w/Imperium vs Tommaso Ciampa w/Timothy Thatcher
(After defeating Marcel Barthel on an episode of NXT, Tommaso Ciampa is attacked by Imperium. WALTER adds insult to injury by ripping off the necklace his family gave him and laying him out with a knife edge chop. WALTER says that he's aware Ciampa considers himself a wrestling veteran, a lockeroom leader, a dominant and ruthless champion, but now he has other priorities in life, and being a father has changed him, because Tommaso isn't a leader, he's just an empty shell of what he once was, whilst Der Ring General’s commitment to this sport is unreached, he's the longest reigning world champion of the modern era, he's the one who respects this sport, and at Takeover, he will prove it. Ciampa says that WALTER has reminded him of his journey of how he got here, and that WALTER may be right about him being a broken down old man who hasn't been the same since neck surgery, and that he’s changed since 2018, but all of those words add fuel to the fire that motivates him, because at Takeover, the Blackheart is back, and he's taking that NXT UK Championship. This is the same show stealing classic that happened in real life.)
NXT Tag Team Championship:
Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch (c) w/Pete Dunne vs MSK
(Instead of Danny Burch injuring his shoulder in a match with Karrion Kross, things are different here. Following their Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic victory at Vengeance Day, Nash Carter and Wes Lee say they've travelled all across America just to get to this stage in their careers, and this will be their crowning achievement at Takeover: Stand & Deliver. Lorcan and Burch say that MSK think they’re so good because they've been here for five minutes, and at Takeover, their five minutes of fame are up.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women’s Championship:
Io Shirai (c) vs Toni Storm vs Zoey Stark
(Following her huge win over Raquel Gonzalez at Takeover: Vengeance Day, Io Shirai is attacked by Toni Storm on an episode of NXT. Storm says that Io has never beaten her one on one, and she can't claim to be a fighting champion until that day comes. Io says that it's true, she hasn't beaten Toni since she came to NXT, and she still has nightmares about her loss to Toni in the finals of the Mae Young Classic three years ago, but now, she has nothing to lose, and she will break Toni the next time they face off. Undefeated newcomer Zoey Stark (having signed 5 months earlier than IRL) is added to this match after scoring a shock victory over Storm (thanks to a distraction by Shirai) four weeks before this event, saying that she won’t let the opportunity to become NXT Women’s Champion pass her by. Stark hits a K-360 on Shirai, but Storm powerbombs Stark onto Io, taking Stark out of the match. Storm then hits a Storm Zero on The Genius of the Skies to become only the second woman in NXT history to have won the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Championship, ending Shirai’s 304 day reign as champion.)
Night 2:
Ladder Match to crown the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion:
Jordan Devlin (c) vs Santos Escobar (c) w/Legado Del Fantasma
(On an episode of NXT UK in early March, NXT GM William Regal shows up to confront Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin, telling The Irish Ace that he'll finally pay him what he wants so that both the current and interim Cruiserweight titles can be unified. Devlin says that since Regal waited so long to pay him, he doesn't what 6 figures anymore, he wants it in the 7 figures. Regal agrees to Devlin’s demands, just as long as he shows up to defend his Cruiserweight title against Santos Escobar at Takeover: Stand & Deliver. Devlin eventually agrees to the match. Devlin shows up on NXT the following week, and claims that Santos has been parading around as a paper champion for almost a year now, and now that he’s finally being paid what he’s worth. the real Cruiserweight Champion is back, so Santos’s job is done. Santos says that he is the real Cruiserweight Championship, because Devlin became a crybaby who only cares about money, but the sport has moved on from The Irish Ace, and the Cruiserweight division is now under the rule of Legado Del Fantasma. During a stare off between both men, Shawn Michaels comes down and slides a ladder into the ring, leading to both men requesting to William Regal that it be a Ladder Match. Escobar unifies both titles, becoming the undisputed Cruiserweight Champion and ending Devlin’s 439 day reign.)
Falls Count Anywhere Match:
Leon Ruff vs Isaiah "Swerve" Scott
(After failing to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott turns heel on Leon Ruff and viciously attacks him. Ruff returns the favour by attacking Swerve a few weeks later. Swerve says he's proud of Leon, he didn't think he had that aggression in him, but now that he knows Leon does, it's obvious the ring can't contain both of them anymore, so he challenges him to a Falls Count Anywhere match. Ruff accepts and says he'll put an end to this game that Swerve's playing, because he's playing with his life. This is the same match that aired on the 05/04/21 episode of NXT, with the debuting Hit Row assisting Swerve to help him get the win after a JML Driver.)
Steel Cage Match for the NXT North American Championship:
Johnny Gargano (c) w/The Way vs Bronson Reed
(Bronson Reed begins targeting The Way after Takeover: Vengeance Day. After disposing of Austin Theory on an episode of NXT, Reed then wins a #1 contender’s battle royal the following week, which grants him a future NXT North American Championship Match. Incensed at this decision, Gargano goes to William Regal and demand that the match be cancelled, but Regal declines. The Way gets even by costing Reed a match with LA Knight, then beat him down afterwards. Reed then goes to Regal and requests his match with Johnny Wrestling be a Steel Cage Match, so The Way can’t interfere, to which Regal agrees to. Gargano says he will put an end to this Rikishi knockoff once and for all. Austin Theory tries to interfere in the match by climbing the cage but Reed quickly takes care of him and lands a pair of Tsunami Splashes on Gargano to become the new North American Champion.)
Unsanctioned Match:
Kyle O’Reilly vs Adam Cole
(After Adam Cole’s shocking betrayal at Takeover: Vengeance Day, Kyle O'Reilly demands answers from Cole as to why he did it. O’Reilly doesn't get an answer, as he is continuously attacked by Cole week after week. Eventually, Kyle costs The Panama City Playboy an NXT Championship Match against Finn Balor, which finally causes Cole to give answers the following week. Cole says he was never mad at Kyle, he just didn't need him anymore, but when that ungrateful punk decided to cost him the NXT Championship, he signed his own death certificate. O’Reilly says Cole has always been a selfish piece of sh*t, and when he finally get his hands on him, he’ll make him pay for everything he’s done. Both men agree to an Unsanctioned Match, with both men promising the demise of the other. Instead of a bloated 40 minute spectacle, the match is trimmed down to 35 minutes. O’Reilly wins with a Diving Knee Drop, wrapping the chain around his knee to cause further damage.)
NXT Championship:
Finn Bálor (c) vs Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
(After four months out with a separated shoulder, Karrion Kross & Scarlett return in late December 2020. Kross immediately goes on the warpath. He sends Damian Priest packing from NXT, demolishes Santos Escobar, and then eventually attacks Finn Bálor after his successful title defence against Adam Cole. Kross says that this debate about who runs NXT needs to be settled once and for all, because as much as Finn loves to masquerade as the champion he thinks he is, he's not the champion until he beats the man who has never been pinned or submitted in NXT. The Prince says everyone wants to be champion until the real champion steps in the room, and Kross can boast about being untouchable all he wants, but he banged his shoulder and took his eye off the ball last August, and lightning will strike twice in Tampa. Kross wins by hitting Bálor with a pair of forearm smashes to the back of Finn’s head to become the new NXT Champion, ending The Prince’s second reign at 231 days.)

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/MVP vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus
(Bobby Lashley’s first major defense of the WWE Championship. After redeeming himself at Fastlane, Drew McIntyre says that he and Lashley have had similar journeys to the top. They both left the WWE and had to start at the bottom, scratching and clawing their way to the top, but there's one difference between them - he beat 29 other men to win the Royal Rumble and sent Brock Lesnar into exile a year ago at WrestleMania 36, and Lashley only got the belt because Sheamus decided to throw away a twenty year friendship and stab him in the back, but at WrestleMania 37, he's going to take back his WWE Championship from that big bald b*tch, if MVP decides to let him off his leash. Sheamus says he doesn't care that he helped Lashley become WWE Champion, he just wants that belt back after 5 years of it being taken away from him. MVP says that Drew and Sheamus have already torn each other apart, and The Almighty is just going to finish them off.)
Tag Team Turmoil Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
The Mysterios won by last eliminating The Dirty Dawgs
Other teams included The Mighty, The Street Profits and The Apollo Nation (Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez)

Cesaro vs Seth Rollins
(After costing Cesaro an opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion at Elimination Chamber, Seth Rollins (now wearing some of the most ridiculous suits on existence) comes out on an episode SmackDown and says that when he became a father during his time away, his life changed for the better. After a lot of self-reflection, the answer became very clear to him, and that he needs to become the great leader that SmackDown needs to make the brand greater than it already is. But to do that, he needs to dispose of those who don’t embrace the vision, and that’s Cesaro. The Visionary then says that had Cesaro listened to him, he wouldn't have interfered in the Elimination Chamber match and Cesaro would be a World Heavyweight Champion after nearly ten years without breaking that glass ceiling, but it's never too late to embrace the vision. The Swiss Cyborg then comes out and attacks Rollins, giving him the Cesaro Swing, and challenging him to a match at WrestleMania, which Seth accepts.)

Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander then come out to the ring for a stare-down with their future opponents, but they’re interrupted by EC3 & Omos, who want in on the action. EC3 then beats Cedric Alexander and Kofi Kingston in a triple threat match the following week on Raw to get Omos and himself in the match. EC3 says that he and Omos will take control of their narrative and become the new Raw Tag Team Champions. MVP says that it doesn’t matter if EC3 & Omos are a registered tag team or not, they won’t get past The Hurt Business, and Kofi & Xavier say that it's time The New Day once again become tag team champions. The Hurt Business are the first team eliminated after Woods pins Benjamin with a small package. Dominik Dijakovic vs Braun Strowman
(Dominik Dijakovic and Braun Strowman begin feuding following Dijakovic’s elimination of Strowman at Elimination Chamber. Braun says that The Rare Breed is just a flash in the pan who didn't amount to anything in NXT, and hasn't won a single match on PPV since he got promoted from the minor leagues, so he'll gladly send him on a one-way trip back to Full Sail University. Dijakovic says that Braun is just some fake tough guy who gets taken to his limit too easily by those better than him, and not only will he give The Monster Among Men a real challenge, he’ll exploit his biggest weakness at WrestleMania. Dijakovic gets his first WrestleMania moment by powering up Strowman into a colossal Feast Your Eyes to score the biggest win of his career.)
Triple H vs AJ Styles
(After coming up short in both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, AJ Styles comes out on Raw and says that he's the guy who’s main evented WrestleMania twice in the last three years, and that he demands he has a match at WrestleMania 37, or he’ll burn Titan Towers to the ground to get it. Triple H then interrupts Styles, telling him that he will find AJ an opponent for WrestleMania so he isn't excluded, if AJ can be patient for once in his life. AJ then attacks The Game, laying him out with a Styles Clash, and saying "Guess, what, Hunter? I already found my opponent. And I'm looking right at him". A few weeks later, Triple H responds to Styles saying he accepts his challenge for WrestleMania, and he will be in for the most phenomenal ass-kicking of a lifetime at the hands of The King of Kings.)
Tag Team Match:
Damian Priest & Bad Bunny vs The Miz & John Morrison
(The first of two WrestleMania matches to involve celebrities. After Miz invites Bad Bunny on to an edition of Miz TV to apologise for what happened at the Royal Rumble after Miz and John Morrison destroyed his DJ setup, Bad Bunny turns down an offer from The Miz to be not only their manager, but a pro-wrestler. Tensions escalate over the next month, with Bad Bunny and Damian Priest costing The Miz the United States Championship at Elimination Chamber, and even costing Miz and Morrison a tag team battle royal on Raw. Eventually, Miz & Morrison become sick of the games and challenge Bad Bunny & Priest to a match at WrestleMania, which the babyfaces accept. This is the same fun match it was in real life.)
SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Sasha Banks (c) vs Bianca Belair
(Following her heel turn at Fastlane, Sasha Banks says that she's disgusted that an overhyped rookie who calls herself "The EST of WWE" chose to go after "The B-EST" of the SmackDown women’s division, the blueprint, because now she's going to pay for it in front of her family at WrestleMania. Bianca says that she needs this win over Sasha to reach unprecedented heights, heights that not even The Boss can reach.)
Night Two:
United States Championship:
Matt Riddle (c) vs Randy Orton
(Randy Orton targets Matt Riddle following Elimination Chamber. Orton says that Riddle is just a total goofball who got expelled from MMA because weed is his crutch. Riddle says that he is cool with Randy, he's got no problem with him, but he's not going to let The Viper rain on his parade and take his title. Riddle scores a huge upset by countering a RKO into a backslide. Following the match, Orton and Riddle shake hands. Orton then raises The King of Bro’s hand. RK-Bro is officially formed.)
Triple Threat Interbrand Tag Team Match:
Alexa Bliss & Kay Lee Ray vs The Riott Squad vs Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez
(This feud begins when Alexa Bliss begins tormenting The Riot Squad after Bliss gets into a backstage brawl with Liv Morgan at Elimination Chamber. following a snide comment from the former to the latter. Bliss begins regularly invading episodes of SmackDown to distract Riott and Morgan, costing them various singles matches and tag team matches until Ruby and Liv decide enough is enough and challenge Alexa to a match at WrestleMania, provided she can find a partner. Bliss accepts and says she'll ensure that The Riott Squad have their final riot, because she’s already found the perfect partner to help her humiliate them. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez (they aren't getting called up just yet) get involved after going on a tear in NXT following the latter’s loss to Io Shirai at Takeover: Vengeance Day. Kai and Gonzalez say that The Riott Squad and Alexa and her partner shouldn't be underestimating them just because they're from NXT, because they're going to represent their brand and walk out of WrestleMania victorious. Alexa’s partner is revealed to be… Kay Lee Ray, making her main roster debut, and whom makes an immediate impact by pinning Riott with a Gory Bomb to win the match for her and Alexa.)
Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Kevin Owens, Ricochet & Mustafa Ali vs Sami Zayn, Chad Gable & Logan Paul
(The second celebrity match at WrestleMania 37. The Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens feud heats up on an episode of SmackDown when Owens runs down to attack Zayn and Logan Paul after a match between Zayn and Ricochet. The following week, a match between Owens and Chad Gable ends in a DQ after Zayn & Paul run down and attack KO, with Gable joining in on a 3-on-1 beatdown until Ricochet and a returning Mustafa Ali run down to even the odds. Owens, Ricochet and Ali challenge Zayn, Gable and Logan to a match at WrestleMania. promising to rid the entire world of the waste of space that is Logan Paul. Sami says that this wouldn't have happened had Owens agreed that there is a conspiracy against him. Logan takes the pin after eating a Stunner from Owens, a 630 from Ricochet and an 054 from Ali.)
Casket Match:
Aleister Black vs Otis w/Mandy Rose
(Despite his loss Fastlane, Aleister Black challenges Otis to a rematch at WrestleMania 37. Black says he chose to step into Otis' world of pure wrestling, and that was one environment that he couldn’t adapt to, so Otis is now going to step into his world, a world of darkness, pain, and no escape, because he wants to face Otis… in a Casket Match! Mandy Rose accepts on Otis' behalf, saying that Otis will ensure that this Dracula freak is laid to rest. Mandy tries to interfere in the match, but Black sprays black mist in her eyes to blind her. The Dutch Destroyer wins after hitting Otis with 3 Black Masses before closing the casket lid, ending this rivalry.)
Firefly Funhouse Match:
"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs Vince McMahon (No Contest)
(Following his victory over The Undertaker at Survivor Series, Bray Wyatt finds himself imprisoned in the Firefly Funhouse. He reveals that there is only one being strong enough that can set him free from the limbo he finds himself in... the devil himself. Shortly after Elimination Chamber, The Fiend attack’s Shane McMahon, and then Stephanie McMahon on episodes of Raw, until several weeks later, a livid Vince McMahon comes down to the ring and says he won't have his family threatened by some freak in an ugly mask. He calls out Bray Wyatt to the ring. Bray, wearing his trademark red sweater, appears and tells Vince "Looks like I had to make an awful lot of noise for you to notice me, boss. But the sins of the father shall be laid upon the children again and again until you give me what I want." Vince challenges The Fiend to a Firefly Funhouse Match at WrestleMania, saying that he's going do what he should've done a long time ago, and that’s cleanse the whole WWE of The Fiend. Bray accepts, saying their match will be "such good sh*t". The match is a rundown of moments from Vince's career - the ending of the territory days, "Bret screwed Bret", the Austin feud, the limo explosion, being strapped into a lie detector chair by the Vince doll, all of the puppets confronting Vince, and Vince and Bray having an arm-wrestling match, with Vince telling Bray "you're weak, you've always been weak". Eventually, fire starts to emerge around the ring, surrounding the 2 men. Bray then reveals to Vince that the last 2 targets are Vince McMahon, and..... The Fiend! Bray transforms into The Fiend one last time and takes out Vince with the Mandible Claw. The flames draw closer and closer to them, with Vince and Bray going up in smoke, with this being the end of Vince (for about 3 weeks, nothing is permanent with this man) and The Fiend. Bray then takes a lengthy hiatus from WWE due to nagging injuries)

Big E (c) vs Angel Garza w/Zelina Vega
Angel Garza continues his relentless attacks on Big E, demanding one more match. Big E accepts, saying Angel thinks he can take all of these ass-whoopings, but the next one will be the ass-whooping of a lifetime. Zelina says that she knows that Garza will be at a disadvantage at WrestleMania 37 because cause it will be in Big E's hometown of Tampa, and thst Big E is stronger, but one way or another, Angel will have the advantage, because their match will be an Escalera De La Muerte (a Ladder Match.) Big E says his Spanish may be rusty, and he has no idea what the hell an Escalade Despacito means, but he ain't losing the Intercontinental Championship in his hometown.)
Career vs Career Match:
Daniel Bryan vs Edge
(Edge makes a surprise appearance on SmackDown and reveals his reasons for attacking Daniel Bryan at Elimination Chamber. Edge says that when Bryan got medically cleared to come back, it inspired him to work his ass off to one day be medically cleared, but what made him sick to the pit of his stomach, was everyone saying that Bryan had the saddest retirement ever, and that it made everyone forget how he was forced to go out, so the only way to redeem himself, is to permanently end the career of Daniel Bryan, so he challenges Bryan to a career vs career match at WrestleMania. Bryan accepts, saying that April 11th, 2011 is an important day to Edge, that's the day he retired, so it's only fitting that 10 years later, the circle is complete and only one of them can keep their careers going. Edge wins clean with a Spear, ending Bryan’s career for the second time. Bryan gets an emotional send-off with the crowd giving him a standing ovation and chanting "Thank you Bryan", as he does one final "Yes!" chant up the ramp. A few months later, he shows up in AEW as "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson.)
Raw Women’s Championship:
Shayna Baszler (c) vs Rhea Ripley
(Rhea Ripley wins a number one contender’s battle royal on Raw to become Shayna Baszler's next challenge at WrestleMania 37. Ripley says that she was the one who purged NXT of the plague that was Shayna Baszler, she ended her 415 day reign as NXT Women’s Champion, and now she'll do the same again on Raw. Shayna says that Rhea got lucky the last time they met, but the main roster is her reality, and it’s a reality that no one has defeated her in. Lightning strikes twice as Rhea wins with an Avalanche Riptide, ending The Queen of Spades' 371 day reign as Raw Women’s Champion.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman & Jey Uso vs Shinsuke Nakamura
(Shinsuke Nakamura finally gets his rematch with Roman Reigns. In the build up, Shinsuke says that Paul Heyman is nothing but a snake who turned his back on him, and that he threw away two good years as an advocate and a client just to become the stooge to an Aquaman reject, and he'll realise his mistake at WrestleMania when Roman is on the receiving end of a Kinshasa that makes The King of Strong Style a 2 time World Heavyweight Champion. Roman says that he did everyone a favour when he took out Nakamura, he put the fear back into the locker room, he made them all acknowledge him, and at WrestleMania, Shinsuke will acknowledge him too. After a 25 minute slugfest, Roman smashes Shinsuke with a Spear, stacks him, and pins him to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.)

Location: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, California
Pre-Show:
Mustafa Ali vs Chad Gable

Ali says that if it wasn't for him, Gable would still be out of a job. Gable wins after Otis (who kicked Mandy Rose to the curb shortly after his Wrestlemania loss to Aleister Black) interferes and helps Gable win, forming The Alpha Academy.)
Main Show:
Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan vs Kay Lee Ray w/Alexa Bliss
(Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan continue their cross-branded feud with Alexa Bliss and Kay Lee Ray. Riott challenges KLR to this match, saying that KLR’s arrival at WrestleMania caught her and Liv off-guard, but now she’s ready, and she won’t allow KLR to stroll onto the main roster and think she can make a name for herself at her expense. KLR says she carried NXT UK on her back for 498 days as NXT UK Women’s Champion, but she got tired of facing the same weak-minded little girls day in and day out, and now she’s ready to wipe the slate clean on the main roster’s women’s division, starting with Ruby Riott. Following the match, Alexa handcuffs Liv to the ropes, while KLR grabs a steel chair, places it around Ruby’s neck, and repeatedly stomps on the chair. KLR then climbs to the middle rope and lands another stomp to the fallen Riott as a helpless Morgan is forced to watch, much like what KLR did to Toni Storm a year ago. Bliss then grabs another steel chair and adds insult to injury by hitting Ruby with a Conchairto. Several referees come out and uncuff Liv from the ropes as she rushes over to check on Ruby, who taken away on a stretcher by paramedics and EMTS, with this being her last match in WWE before her departure to AEW in the coming months. As Ruby is lead away, a look of pure rage crosses Liv’s face.)

Matt Riddle (c) w/Randy Orton vs Dominik Dijakovic
(Dominik Dijakovic defeats Elias and The Miz in a triple threat match on Raw to become number one contender. Matt Riddle says that under the guidance of his new bro, Randy Orton, he's got a whole new skill set of moves in his arsenal that will ensure he walks out still United States Champion. Dijakovic says that he knows Riddle is talented enough to succeed on his own, but he doesn't need a snake like Orton to guide his career, because he’ll have the U.S. title do that for him. Dijakovic counters an RKO attempt from Riddle into Feast Your Eyes to become the new U.S. Champion.)
SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
The Mysterios (c) vs The Apollo Nation
(The Apollo Nation invoke their rematch clause after WrestleMania. Apollo Crews says that he and Commander Azeez were eliminated unfairly during the gauntlet match at WrestleMania and Rey and Dominik can’t call themselves champions without beating someone of Nigerian Royalty cleanly. Rey and Dominik say that if Apollo and his giant lapdog want a rematch, they'll give it to them.)
Damian Priest vs AJ Styles
(Instead of a ridiculous zombies lumberjack match, Damian Priest falls into the crosshairs of AJ Styles, after Priest scores a huge victory over The Phenomenal One on the post WrestleMania episode of Raw. AJ returns the favour by attacking Priest backstage the following week. Styles says that Priest is a flash in the pan who thinks he's on top of the world because he got to tag with one of the biggest musicians in the world, but now that Bad Bunny went back to his recording studio, Priest has no identity, and now his only claim to fame is he got a fluke pin over him. The Archer of Infamy says that his win over AJ was one of the biggest wins of his career, but if he wants to hold a grudge over it, then he has a problem.)
Seth Rollins vs Jimmy Uso w/Jey Uso
(Shortly after WrestleMania, Jimmy Uso returns to Smackdown, but he’s still being bitter about what happened to his brother at Hell in a Cell last year, saying that if he was facing Roman, he wouldn't of quit, and he's nobody's b*tch, not even Roman’s. The Tribal Chief tells Jimmy that he and Jey have moved on from last year, and he needs to as well. Roman gives Jimmy an ultimatum; fall in line and acknowledge him, or take his ass home. Jimmy seemingly starts falling in line, but still remains resentful. A few weeks later, Reigns orders Jimmy and Jey to cost Cesaro his number one contenders match against Seth Rollins on SmackDown, but Jimmy inadvertently costs Rollins the match, leading to this encounter. The Visionary tells Roman that he shouldn't of sent The Usos out to interfere, because now his family is his problem, and he has to clean up his mess. Roman tells Seth that if he didn't lose to Cesaro, he wouldn't be in this situation.)
Raw Tag Team Championship:
EC3 & Omos (c) vs The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander)
(Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander invoke their rematch clause two weeks after WrestleMania. EC3 says that Shelton & Cedric both pale in comparison to him and Omos, who are naturally superior to them in every way, and that with his and Omos' talent combined, they will never lose the Raw Tag Team Championship. Shelton and Cedric say EC3 is just a dime-store Rock who can’t win a match without hiding behind his big and dumb bodyguard, and they’ll reclaim their titles.)
Last Ride Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Angel Garza (c) w/Zelina Vega vs Aleister Black
(Aleister Black interrupts Angel Garza's championship celebration on the SmackDown after WrestleMania, laying out Garza with a Black Mass. Zelina Vega says Black had some nerve interrupting the coronation of the next great Intercontinental Champion, and now he'll feel the wrath of The Lethal Lothario. Black says that every man has a devil, and that you can’t rest until you find it, so he will purge every ounce of arrogance from Angel’s soul and take the Intercontinental Championship, because Angel will breathe his last breath….. in a Last Ride Match! Zelina accepts on her client’s behalf and says Garza will send Black to the cemetery permanently. Towards the end of the match, Black prepares to hit a Black Mass, but Vega strikes the Dutch Destroyer from behind with a steel chair, allowing Garza to hit a Wing Clipper and load Black into the hearse. This is Black’s last match in the WWE, and he becomes the next AEW signing in the coming months, rechristened as Malakai Black.)
SmackDown Women’s Championship:
Bianca Belair (c) vs Bayley
(Following her Senstational Sherri Invitational battle royal win at WrestleMania, a rejuvenated Bayley sets her sights on Bianca Belair. Bayley says The EST of WWE is an ungrateful, rude, selfish and spoiled rookie who has been riding her luck ever since she came to SmackDown, because it was she who gave Bianca the opportunity take those training wheels off and prepared her for her big Wrestlemania moment, which she never got a thank you for, and now her luck will run out when she takes back the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Bianca says that Bayley is too focused on her own confidence, when she should be focusing on herself, because that's going to be her downfall at Backlash.)
Triple Threat Match for the Raw Women’s Championship:
Rhea Ripley (c) vs Shayna Baszler vs Charlotte Flair
(Charlotte Flair returns on the Raw after WrestleMania and targets the Raw Women’s Championship. Charlotte says she had to miss WrestleMania because of health problems, which lead to that annoying thorn in her side, known as Rhea Ripley, getting a title shot that she should have gotten, but she's perfectly healthy now, and she’ll become a 4 time Raw Women's Champion. Shayna Baszler invokes her rematch clause to get a spot in this match, saying that Rhea keeps on lucking her way to victory, and as for Charlotte, no one likes her, even after she put her to sleep. Rhea says that she's already beaten both of these fake horsewomen, so they can have another one for free.)
Fatal Four-Way Match for the WWE Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/MVP vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus vs Braun Strowman
(Two weeks on the Raw after WrestleMania, Adam Pearce announces that Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will run back their triple threat contest from WrestleMania, but it will now be a fatal four way match. Braun Strowman defeats Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Damian Priest, The Miz and Jeff Hardy in a six pack challenge earn the fourth and final spot in this match. MVP says McIntyre shouldn’t be getting another shot since Lashley’s already beaten him twice, and since Lashley whupped Sheamus’s ass, it’s baffling to understand why they’re both getting another title shot, and as for Strowman, he'll be sent into early retirement once The Almighty is done with him. Strowman says that Lashley fears The Monster Among Men, and he still has a score to settle with Lashley from 3 years ago. Drew says he won't stop until he reclaims the WWE Championship, and Sheamus says that Lashley got lucky at Wrestlemania, but he won't be so lucky against The Celtic Warrior this time. Sheamus suffers a broken nose in this match that forces him to dawn a protective mask for a few months.)
World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Cesaro (by Technical Submission)
(On the SmackDown after WrestleMania 37, Roman Reigns cuts a promo about how he smashed Shinsuke Nakamura, that he made Nakamura acknowledge him, and that it was so embarrassing that they'll probably never put him in another match against The King of Strong Style, because no one is going to want to face him. Roman is then interrupted by Cesaro, but The Tribal Chief blanks Cesaro and heads to the back. Cesaro says that Roman doesn't respect anyone on the roster other than himself, and he doesn't even deserve to be called World Heavyweight Champion, so he’ll do everyone in WWE a favour and take that championship away from Roman at Backlash. This is the same match as in real life, with Roman making Cesaro pass out in the Guillotine Choke. As Roman celebrates his win, Seth Rollins comes out and stares down Roman. But instead of attacking Roman, Rollins attacks The Swiss Cyborg and lays him out with a pair of Curb Stomps.)

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2
Date: 13/6/21
Location: Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida (No CWC in this timeline.)
NXT North American Championship:
Bronson Reed (c) vs Austin Theory w/Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano
(Bronson Reed continues his feud with The Way after winning the North American Championship at Takeover: Stand & Deliver. After losing a rematch to NXT’s Resident Thick Boi on an episode of NXT, Johnny Gargano gets his "son" to challenge Reed for the title, so The Way can rid themselves of this oversized slob and move on to better things. Reed says he’s sick and tired of The Way moaning and complaining when things don’t go their way (no pun intended), but he’ll happily squash Theory like a bug on a windshield. An accidental superkick from Gargano to Theory alllows Reed to land a Tsunami Splash and retain the NA title. After the match, a fed up Theory storms to the back alone.)
Six-Man Tag Team Winner Take All Match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship & NXT Tag Team Championship:
Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar (NXT Cruiserweight), Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza) vs KUSHIDA & MSK (NXT Tag Team)
(Following an NXT Tag Team Championship match between MSK and Legado Del Fantasma on an episode of NXT, Escobar, Wilde and Mendoza attack MSK following the match, with KUSHIDA making the save. Escobar then goes to William Regal to request a six man tag team match, so Legado Del Fantasma can be a group of champions. KUSHIDA gets the win for his team, making Escobar tap out to the Hoverboard Lock and ending Escobar’s 376 day reign.)
Ladder Match for the vacant Million Dollar Championship:
Cameron Grimes vs LA Knight
(After Takeover: Stand & Deliver, Ted DiBiase shows up on NXT, and constantly begins one upping Cameron Grimes, showing him how to properly spend money. After weeks of this happening, Grimes comes to his senses and admits Ted is right about what he's trying to teach him. LA Knight interrupts and says that DiBiase is wasting his time trying to teach a loser like Grimes all these lessons about money, and he should be doing all of that with a different superstar, someone of Knight’s caliber. Ted announces that he will be reviving the Million Dollar Championship, and at Takeover: In Your House 2, either Grimes or Knight will be the one to carry on the Million Dollar Legacy by competing against each other in a ladder match.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women’s Championship:
Toni Storm (c) vs Shotzi Blackheart vs Ember Moon
(Following her triumphant win at Takeover: Stand & Deliver, a cocky Toni Storm runs down a list of everyone she's beaten - Tegan Nox, Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, Zoey Stark - they've all been beaten by The Lightning from Down Under. Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon both want a shot at Toni’s title, saying that they won’t let their friendship get in the way of becoming the new NXT Women’s Champion. Toni says both Shotzi and Ember can have their shots, but they're delusional if they think they can win. Toni retains after Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez interfere by running out and attacking Shotzi, laying her out at ringside, allowing Storm to hit Moon with Storm Zero and retain her title. Following the match, a returning Io Shirai comes through the Full Sail crowd and attacks Storm, hitting her with two Over the Moonsaults and holding up the NXT Women’s Championship.)
Fatal Five-Way Match for the NXT Championship:
Karrion Kross (c) w/Scarlett vs Adam Cole vs Kyle O’Reilly vs Pete Dunne vs Johnny Gargano
(Following his destruction of Finn Balor at Takeover: Stand & Deliver, new NXT Champion Karrion Kross starts to become an untamed and unhinged monster, constantly destroying security and Performance Center trainees. During this, Pete Dunne steps up, and says if anyone can beat Kross, it's The Bruiserweight. Johnny Gargano gets involved in this when he and Austin Theory barge into a meeting between William Regal and Scarlett, where Theory makes a insulting remark about Scarlett, which leads to Scarlett convincing Regal to put Theory in a match against Kross the following week. The Herald of Doomsday decimates Theory, leading to Gargano wanting payback. Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly's blood feud spills over into this match when O’Reilly is put in a triple threat number one contenders match against Gargano and Dunne, which enrages Cole, who lays out all 3 men, before getting attacked by Kross himself, leading to Regal setting this match up. Kross makes O'Reilly pass out in the Kross Jacket to retain his title.)

NXT UK Takeover: Berlin
Date: 19/6/21
Location: Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin, Germany
British Rounds Rules Match for the NXT UK Heritage Championship:
A-Kid (c) vs Tyler Bate (0-1)
(Following his loss to WALTER at Takeover: London, A-Kid successfully defends the Heritage Championship against Tyler Bate on an episode of NXT UK. After the match, Bate says that even though he is disappointed he couldn't defeat A-Kid, he'd love to run that match back with him one day. A month or two later, The Big Strong Boi confronts A-Kid and requests a rematch at Takeover: Berlin, which A-Kid accepts. Bate says that the Heritage Championship represents the pure technique of raw professional wrestling, and though A-Kid does hold a victory over him, he seems confident he can do it again, but that overconfidence is what will cause him to fail in Berlin. A-Kid says that he has been chasing Tyler Bate for years, when Bate won the NXT UK Championship, he looked up to Tyler and aspired to be like him, but now he's the champion, and Tyler is chasing him.)
Trent Seven vs Jordan Devlin
(After Moustache Mountain lose the NXT UK Tag Team Championship to Pretty Deadly, Trent Seven takes some time off from competition. Trent says that he knows he's the oldest guy on the roster, but he still knows there is a part of him that can change, that can adapt and become better, because there's work that needs to be done. Jordan Devlin begins to mock Trent, saying that Trent is nothing but an out-of-shape old man who needs to hang it up, because father time is catching up to him real quickly. The Don of NXT UK says that he needs to show everyone that he still has what it takes to be at the top of the brand, and that starts with putting that garden gnome named Devlin in his place. This is the same match that happened on the 03/18/2021 episode of NXT UK, only moved to here.)
NXT UK Tag Team Championship:
Pretty Deadly (c) vs The Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) w/Dani Luna
(Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster (rechristening themselves as The Subculture) defeat Gallus and The Hunt in a triple threat match on an episode of NXT UK to become number one contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship. In the buildup, Pretty Deadly say that they have been running this division ever since they became champions, and unlike these 2 Welsh street punks, they haven't dropped the ball yet. Andrews & Webster say that wins and losses matter to them, every single win that they earn, it means something more to them, when they won the NXT UK Tag Titles in their home nation of Wales, that meant something, and they're going to recreate that same feeling when they topple Pretty Deadly and become 2-time NXT UK Tag Team Champions.)
NXT UK Women’s Championship:
Meiko Satomura (c) vs Aoife Valkyrie
(Following her debut in early 2020, Aoife Valkyrie starts an undefeated streak, defeating the likes of Nina Samuels, Dani Luna, Xia Brookside, Isla Dawn and even Emilia McKenzie along the way. This leads to Valkyrie defeating Jinny to become to number one contender to the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Meiko says that Aofie is mysterious, she's an undefeated prodigy, but everyone has to be defeated eventually, and she will be the one to snap her streak. Aofie says that Meiko's title reign will be burnt to ashes, and amongst those ashes will arise a new NXT UK Women's Champion, and her name will be Aofie Valkyrie. Despite Valkyrie’s spirit, The Final Boss prevails with a Scorpio Rising, ending Valkyrie’s year long undefeated streak.)
NXT UK Championship:
WALTER (c) vs Ilja Dragunov (by Submission)
(After months of soul-searching and recuperation, Ilja Dragunov finally gets his rematch for the NXT UK Championship by defeating Joe Coffey and Rampage Brown in a triple threat match on an episode of NXT UK to become number one contender. In the build up, Dragunov says that the whole world was talking about his match with WALTER, about the level of brutality showcased between them at Takeover: Glasgow, and though the people are recognising his performance, they cheer for those who win, and they forget those who lose. Something was broken in him after that match, because he was thinking how he could become NXT UK Champion, and how he could defeat a dominant person like WALTER, a cold-blooded person like WALTER, so he had to embark on a new path of violence to get this rematch, and at Takeover: Berlin, in the country that they both made a name for themselves in on the independent scene, he will accomplish his dream. WALTER says that Takeover is the big stage where he belongs, but for Ilja, it's the match of his life, because on his best day, Der Ring General is unbeatable, and the only reason Ilja has his rematch on this sacred mat in Germany, is because he made Ilja, everyone will know who Ilja Dragunov really is at Takeover: Berlin, because he is full of doubt, and full of fear, and he will expose Ilja for the fraud he is in this great sport. This is exactly the same match that happened at Takeover: 36 in real life, with Dragunov making WALTER tap out to a Sleeper Hold to end Der Ring General’s 806 day reign as NXT UK Champion.)

Hell in a Cell 2021
Date: 20/6/21
Location: Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
Pre-Show:
Mustafa Ali & Mansoor vs Alpha Academy
Following his victory over Mustafa Ali at Backlash, Chad Gable introduces everyone to his "#1 guy" on the SmackDown after Backlash, Otis, declaring themselves to be Alpha Academy. Gable says that they will educate all of these morons on what pro wrestling is. Ali interrupts and says that if Gable wanted to stop tagging with him, he wouldn't have taken it personally if he had just said it to his face, because they had a good run, but Gable chose to be a snake and stab him in the back instead. This leads to a match between Otis and Ali, which Otis wins. Alpha Academy then defeat Ali in a Handicap Match the following week. This leads Ali recruiting the debuting Mansoor to assist him in his war with the new duo.)
Main Show:
Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship:
Roman Reigns (c) w/Paul Heyman vs Jimmy Uso
(On the SmackDown after Backlash, Jimmy Uso goes to Sonya Deville to get a tag match featuring him and Jey against the Street Profits, but he doesn’t tell Jey, and Jey isn't that happy about this. Jey tells Roman about Jimmy getting the match made without his permission, which Roman doesn't seem pleased with either, and says that undermines everything Jey has done in the past year. Despite the tension, Jimmy and Jey beat the Street Profits. Jimmy goes one step further and gets them a number one contenders match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The Apollo Nation the following week. During that match against Crews & Azeez, a referee bump occurs, allowing Paul Heyman to hand Jimmy a steel chair to hit Crews with. Jimmy throws the chair away, saying he doesn't need it. This costs The Usos, as Crews hits Jimmy with his staff, with a new referee running down to count the pin and allows The Apollo Nation to win. Following this, an incensed Reigns comes out and beats down Jimmy for daring to fall out of line and ignoring Paul and his orders. The following week, Jimmy says that Roman has lost his damn mind, and challenges him to a Hell in a Cell match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell. Roman accepts, saying that Jimmy will end up exactly like his brother did eight months ago. Following the match, Roman carries a defeated Jimmy to the back.)
Raw Tag Team Championship:
EC3 & Omos (c) vs Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal
(Jinder Mahal returns on the Raw after Backlash and tries to convince his old 3MB ally, Drew McIntyre, to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship. Drew is reluctant to team with Jinder at first (due to Sheamus turning on him recently), but Jinder says Drew needs to take a break from just constantly competing for the WWE Championship, and that he won’t turn on Drew like Sheamus did. Eventually, Drew relents and agrees to team with Jinder, with the duo winning a tag team battle royal on an episode of Raw to become the number one contenders. EC3 says that if Drew & Jinder want to relive old times, then they'll enjoy losing. Drew & Jinder say that EC3 & Omos better not underestimate them, because pride always comes before a fall. During the match, McIntyre accidentally hits Mahal with a Claymore, allowing EC3 to hit the One Percenter on The Celtic Colossus for the win. After the match, Drew apologises to Jinder, but Jinder doesn't accept. He storms to the back, but stops at the top of the ramp. A pair of unknown men, know as Veer & Shanky, then appear and attack McIntyre, with Jinder coming back to assist them in a three on one assault. Jinder adds insult to injury and hits Drew with a Khallas.)
No Holds Barred Match:
Cesaro vs Seth Rollins
(Seth Rollins continues his feud with Cesaro after Backlash by brutally attacking him on SmackDown with a pair of Curb Stomps on the ramp. Cesaro returns a few weeks later by attacking Rollins from behind. A week later, Cesaro is interviewed backstage and says that Rollins didn't go far enough, he tried to take his career away from him, and he won’t let him get away with that. Rollins says that The Swiss Cyborg doesn't deserve a single ounce of respect, and at Hell in a Cell, he'll show everyone that Cesaro deserves nothing but pain.)
RK-Bro vs The New Day
(RK-Bro begin feuding with The New Day following Backlash. During an 8 man tag team match on Raw, Orton hits Xavier Woods with an RKO and refuses to apologise for it. The following week, The Viper beats Kofi Kingston in a singles match, by hitting Matt Riddle's Bro Derek. The next week, Riddle wins a singles match over Kingston, by using the RKO. Woods and Kofi says that Riddle better watch his back, because Randy will betray him eventually. Riddle says he’s cool with The New Day, but he won’t let them question the integrity of his bro.)
Handicap Street Fight:
Liv Morgan vs Alexa Bliss & Kay Lee Ray
(After Ruby Riott is sent to AEW by Alexa Bliss & Kay Lee Ray, Liv Morgan becomes stricken with rage, and won't stop until she ends both Bliss and KLR. She goes to extreme lengths to go after her opponents, regularly invading Raw and attacking them in the aftermath of tag team and singles matches, and demanding from Sonya Deville that she has a handicap match, under Street Fight Rules, with them at Hell in a Cell, which Sonya (though supportive of Liv’s actions), reluctantly agrees to. Liv says all her friends are dead, and she won't stop until Bliss and KLR are six feet under. Bliss & KLR say they made sure Ruby Riott left on a stretcher at Backlash, and at Hell in a Cell, they'll make sure Liv leaves in a bodybag. Despite the odds, Liv wins an all out war by hitting Ob-Liv-Ion on Bliss onto a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire.)
Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship:
Angel Garza (c) w/Zelina Vega vs Kevin Owens vs Big E
(After ridding the WWE of Aleister Black, Angel Garza starts to become cockier and cockier as each day of his Intercontinental Championship reign passes by. This draws the ire of Kevin Owens, who defeats Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match on SmackDown to become number one contender. Owens says he's sick of Garza thinking he's this hot commodity, when in reality, he's just Eddie Guerrero lite, because it would be an insult to Eddie’s memory if he was compared to a joke like Garza. During an in ring confrontation between both men, Big E interrupts and invokes his rematch clause, saying if it weren’t for Garza’s little chihuahua low blowing him at WrestleMania, he’d still be Intercontinental Champion. Zelina says that Garza is the greatest IC champion of not just this generation, but of all time, and he'll prove that by beating these two irrelevant pretenders to his throne. Sonya Deville then announces a triple threat match for the title. At the match’s climax, Owens hits Big E with a Stunner and goes for a pinfall, but Garza throws Owens out of the ring and pins Big E to retain the IC title.)
Nigerian Drum Fight for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship:
The Mysterios (c) vs The Apollo Nation
(After defeating The Usos in a number contenders match thanks to Jimmy Uso's stubbornness, The Apollo Nation get one more match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Apollo Crews requests to Sonya Deville that the match be a Nigerian Drum Fight, so that he and Commander Azeez will be assured of victory. Rey & Dominik say that it doesn't matter what type of match Apollo picks, they’ll still walk out of Minneapolis as champions.)
Raw Women's Championship:
Rhea Ripley (c) vs Mia Yim
(Mia Yim wins a battle royal on Raw to become the number one contender to the Raw Women's Championship. Yim says that Rhea Ripley has beaten an impressive group of opponents, but there's one name that she hasn't beaten yet, and that’s the HBIC. Ripley says she doesn't know why Mia has such high confidence for this match, because all she's done since coming to the main roster is sit in the back and know that she’ll never be good enough to be champion.)
15-minute Iron Woman Match for the Smackdown Women's Championship:
Bianca Belair (c) vs Bayley (3-2)
(Following her loss at Backlash, Bayley demands a rematch for the Smackdown Women's Championship at Hell in a Cell, saying that Bianca Belair isn't the role model that the SmackDown Women's Championship deserves, she is, and at Hell in a Cell, everyone will breathe a sigh of relief when she becomes a 2 time Smackdown Women's Champion. Bianca's accepts Bayley’s rematch, saying she’s happy giving this so-called role model a chance to take her title, because it means she just gets to shut her up permanently. Sonya Deville makes the match an Iron Woman match to increase the stakes of the match. Bayley takes a 2-1 lead with 5 minutes to spare, but Belair wins the deciding fall with a KOD. Bayley suffers a knee injury in this match, which sidelines her for the rest of the year.)
Title vs Career Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship:
Bobby Lashley (c) w/The Hurt Business vs Braun Strowman
(Braun Strowman continues to feud with Bobby Lashley following Backlash, demanding that he gets one more shot at the WWE Championship inside Hell in a Cell. Lashley says he’ll give Braun his shot on one condition - that he puts his career on the line. Strowman agrees, saying that he knows his back is against the wall, but this won’t be how it ends for him, and that he’ll rag-doll Bobby all across the cell and knock The Almighty off his pedestal. Lashley says that asking for one more match against him was the biggest mistake of Braun's career, because he won't have one after Hell in a Cell. Lashley wins after a third and final Spear, ending The Monster Among Men’s WWE career, for now….)
Non-PPV Title Change:
29/6/21 - Isaiah "Swerve” Scott defeated Bronson Reed to win the NXT North American Championship
