If there was gonna be "An Interim AEW World Champion" that is how they should have done it and could have done it.
This to me, was their chance to make "Hangman vs Punk II" even bigger then "Hangman vs Punk I".
They told such a story where, Hangman Page needed to be the interim AEW World Champion going up against AEW World Champion CM Punk at AEW All Out 2022.

Hangman Adam Page- June 15th 2022-September 4th 2022
AEW All Out 2022:
AEW World Championship/ Interim AEW World Championship unification match:
Hang Man Adam Page (AEW Interim World Champion/(c) vs CM Punk (AEW World Champion/(c)
