On July 22nd 2022, following a number of allegations were raised against him, Vince McMahon announced he was retiring from the WWE. Very quickly the internet was ablaze with rumours about who would be taking over and what changes would be made in the WWE now he was gone after so many years.
Vince's daughter, Stephanie, became co-CEO with Nick Khan while her husband Triple H took over talent relations and creative.
A new era is beginning in WWE as for the first time Vince McMahon has no say on proceedings in the business.

The bell was rung after they began fighting in the crowd and were counted out. After the match they had to be separated by backstage staff.
