I'm probably going to stop with the constant carnival updates. I'll update when it's like 2-3 shows left and also the final round

AJPW Hall of Champions I
So before I get into my booking I wanna apologise for being away far longer than I said I would, the date I was supposed to post this originally I lost my grandfather to pneumonia so I, quite obviously, was not in the right mental state to really post anything. That being said even though I am posting this I will say now that the chances of me returning to my old uploading schedule which saw me getting multiple cards out per day will most likely not be returning, anyways here is AJPW Hall of Champions I.
Match 1
vs
The opening match of the night had been building for a long time, It saw the newly christened Holy Demon Army in Akira Taue & Toshiaki Kawada in their first match together. And if you've been keeping up with the save you'd notice Can-Am Express are my go to team for anything thanks for how reliable they are in any role. Since their Real World Tag League win, there had been a palpable tension between Triple Crown champion, Mitsuharu Misawa, and now former partner, Toshiaki Kawada, it was made far worse following Kobashi's Champion Carnival win against Kawada, where Misawa brushed past Kawada to celebrate with Kobashi. During the lead up to the Hall of Champions show, Misawa & Kawada had an opportunity to win the AJPW World Tag Team titles from Hansen & Spivey, however mid match, Misawa went to tag in Kawada but he pulled his hand back refusing the tag, Hansen managed to hit Misawa with a lariat to retain, after which Kawada entered the ring and was alone with a Misawa already down when he started stomping him into the canvas until Kobashi, Tiger Mask III and Kikuchi made the save, Kawada hadn't been seen since and came back as Taue's "mystery partner". Kawada got the win with a ganso bomb in 18:11 on Dan Kroffat despite breaking his forearm earlier in the match. Those Cena genes coming in handy with that finish (77 rating)
Match 2
vs
Match 2 saw Big Van Vader take in "Dr Death" Steve Williams in an exhibition match, both men were arguably bigger names in Japan then they were in America (especially Doc less so Vader) and both had very different yet somewhat similiar styles which puts this in dream match territory imo, I had Doc win with a doctor bomb in 25:09 (78 rating)
Match 3
vs
Gary Albright defeated Hideki Hosaka in 15:24 by pinfall via German Suplex in match 3 (60 rating)
Match 4
vs
Match 4 had the debuting Black Tiger II (Eddie Guererro) take on El Hijo Del Santo, obviously these two used to team together in Mexico, which creates a very nice story for this match. I did try to keep El Hijo Del Santo however he wants far more money than his worth so in what is most likely his last big match in AJPW I had him put over Black Tiger II in 12:41 by submission via Gory Special (80 rated)
Match 5
vs
Jun Akiyama defeated Norman Smiley in 11:16 by pinfall via Blue Thunder Bomb (61 rated)
Match 6
vs
Akira Maeda defeated The Gladiator by submission via Cross Armbreaker in 18:19 (55 rated)
Match 7
vs
Minoru Tanaka & The Inoues defeated Giant Baba, Masanobu Fuchi & Yoshinari Ogawa when Minoru Tanaka pinned Yoshinari Ogawa via Minoru Special II in 7:41 (44 rated)
Match 8
vs
Ultimo Dragon defeated Eddie Gilbert in 20:15 by pinfall via Asai DDT
Match 9
AJPW Openweight Championship Match vs
Obviously I was saying how I have a problem with how stacked my roster is so I decided to bring in a new title so that I have that little bit more to work with. Hashimoto & Takada had a storied rivalry irl in NJPW with their match for the IWGP Championship being one my favourite matches of the 90s era of NJPW with that match being the culmination of the NJPW vs UWFi feud and while I don't see myself reusing that exact story I still want Hashimoto vs Takada to be a big thing whenever it happens. That being said I had Hashimoto win the match and become inaugural AJPW Openweight Champion as he has the star power to hold it for a few months and up it's prestige before losing it. (87 rated)
Match 10
AJPW World Tag Team Championship Match (c) vs
Stan Hansen & Dan Spivey defeated Headhunters to retain the AJPW World Tag Team Championship Match in 14:40 when Stan Hansen pinned Headhunter A via The Lariat
Match 11 AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Championship Match vs (c)
I have been waiting to book this match for months. Finally the Malenko leg break gets fixed and he becomes AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Tiger Mask III will get a proper run with the belt somewhere down the road that is a guarentee whether under the mask or not, Koji Kanemoto is one of the best juniors ever so him getting another reign is a question of when not if, however right now it's Malenko's time and now hes fully fit I'm expecting one hell of a reign out of him. He submitted Tiger Mask III in 25:58 via Texas Cloverleaf (77 rated)
Match 12 (Main Event) AJPW Triple Crown Championship Match
vs (c)
Mitsuharu Misawa met Kenta Kobashi in the main event of the show. Kobashi winning the Champion Carnival got him this shot and it was a brilliant match getting a 93 rating after Misawa pinned Kobashi after 34:58 via an Emerald Flowsion which is the first time the move has been used in a triple crown match. Misawa gets defence No.4
Post Show thoughts
To be honest I can't tell you if half of this is the original plan or if I changed it when I started playing again. I'm very much still hurting from what I said before the show but I'll keep trying to put shows out when I can and making them as best as I can make them. Santo is definitely gone after this and Vader will most likely be leaving as well as much as I would like to keep him I can't really justify it. Anyways the Summer Struggle tour is next and that will be a hell of a tour. On the last note I'd like to thank anyone that sends their condolences whether here or in the DMs.

AJPW Joe Higuchi Special So I did actually forget to mention that Joe Higuchi is retiring at the end of this month so I decided to put on a mini special for him. All of these matches are exhibitions outside of Liger vs Malenko for the World Jr Title so it's not worth me going through them trying to find some excuse for them since this card was thrown together a bit. However as you can see Antonio Inoki made an appearance where he laid out the gauntlet to Triple Crown Champion Mitsuharu Misawa so at the Summer Struggle event it will be NJPW founder Antonio Inoki versus AJPW Figurehead Mitsuharu Misawa for the AJPW Triple Crown Championship.

AJPW Bruiser Brody Memorial '93 Match 1
vs Miracle Violence Alliance (Gary Albright & Steve Williams) defeated Nobuhiko Takada & Giant Baba in 6:53 when Steve Williams pinned Takada via Backdrop Driver (62 rated) Match 2 vs Jun Akiyama defeated Super Astro in match 2 by pinfall in 12:29 via Wrist Clutch Exploder (54 rated)Match 3 vs Match 3 saw former partners Stan Hansen & Genichiro Tenryu go 1 on 1 on the memorial show of another one of Hansen's former partners, Tenryu is going to be here for the long run I will make that clear, as much as it may be somewhat unrealistic as Baba stated Tenryu would never wrestle in an AJPW ring as long as he's alive Tenryu in 90's AJPW could have been legendary if handled right, some of the dream match opportunities like Hansen, Dr Death, Gary Albright and the 4 pillars that we didnt see in this period. Does it mean I'm that bit more stacked with my roster? yes but someone like Tenryu is worth it. Stan Hansen defeated Genichiro Tenryu in 24:58 by pinfall via The Lariat (92 rated) Match 4
vs
In Match 4, Jushin Liger defeated Tiger Mask III in 16:29 by pinfall via Shooting Star Press (81 rated) Jushin Liger is also going to be around for the long term, he feels like a perfect name to throw into the core of the junior division alongside Malenko, Ultimo Dragon, Tiger Mask III, Fuchi, Ogawa etc. so yeah expect him to stay around Match 5All Asia Tag Team Championship Match vs (c) The Can-Am Express defeated The Headhunters in 17:19 by pinfall when Dan Kroffat pinned Headhunter B via Tiger Driver (69(nice)rated)Match 6
AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Championship (c) vs
In Match 6 of the night, Dean Malenko defended his newly won AJPW World Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Ultimo Dragon. Dean Malenko won the match by submission in 22:39 via Texas Cloverleaf putting his reign at 42 days 2V Match 7 (Main Event) vs As part of the lead up to Misawa vs Inoki, Keiji Mutoh crossed the border between AJPW & NJPW to wrestle an exhibition match against Misawa, they went to a 30 minute time limit draw showing potentially leaving another title challenger for the future if I fancy going to NJPW for it again, for now this is just a one off from Mutoh so don't expect to see him again any time soon. Mitsuharu Misawa went to a time limit draw with Keiji Mutoh in 30:00 (82 rated) post match Misawa told Inoki he'll be waiting for him in Nagoya (70 rated)
