In August of 1992. Mitsuharu Misawa won the Triple Crown Championship from Stan Hansen. In October the ace of the company for almost 20 years, Jumbo Tsuruta, was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. These events in quick succession brought the era of The Four Heavenly Pillars. An era where Misawa, Kobashi, Taue & Kawada ruled above the rest of AJPW. It was a golden age of Professional Wrestling with AJPW being in the era of the four pillars, NJPW about a year into the Three Muskeeters era (Mutoh, Hashimoto & Chono) WCW had a number of future stars on their books such as Brian Pillman, Steve Austin, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. WWF were still in the midst of the golden era with Savage & Hogan still ruling the roost but joined by Ric Flair. In Mexico, AAA had just formed a few months before hand following a member of the CMLL booking committee walking out (Antonio Pena) and forming the company. This save will start from September 92. after Misawa won the Triple Crown from Hansen

All Asia Tag Team Champions:

The First Tour will be the October Giant Series. This tour is the final tour of Andre The Giant irl and I plan on having this be his final tour here as well and its also the last tour before Jumbo gets diagnosed with Hepatitis C. On the Topic of Jumbo should I keep him around or send him away for a year after this like what happened irl

So I did forget to mention the AJPW 20th Anniversary Show. I ran a 6 match long show which involved matches like Jun Akiyama vs Kenta Kobashi, Hansen & Spivey vs Can-Am Express and the main event of Jumbo & Taue (c) vs Misawa & Kawada for the World Tag Team Championships

October Giant Series (Halfway done) Just finished the 8th show which is the halfway point so I'll update you all on whats happened.Show 1 had Dean Malenko take on Yoshinari Ogawa in a no.1 contenders match for the right to challenge Masanobu Fuchi on the final night. Malenko won and was in line to challenge Fuchi until night 6. Unfortunately in a match with Tsuyoshi Kikuchi, Malenko broke his leg meaning he wont be wrestling for 6 months. I was going to have Malenko end Fuchi's reign but now hes injured thats not possible so Fuchi likely has to hold on to the title going into the tag league.Show 1 also had Stan Hansen & Terry Funk vs Misawa & Kawada where Funk pinned Kawada and in the process earned a shot at Misawa's triple crown championship at the end of the tour. Misawa & Asako wrestled The British Bruisers (Dynamite Kid & Johnny Smith) on night 5, where Johnny Smith pinned Misawa earning a title shot at night 8. Misawa managed to retain the title against Smith putting his reign at 1 defence. Misawa also picked up wins against Jumbo, Hansen and Baba in tag or trio matches to try up his pop enough to where I can make him the ace of AJPW by Jan.A few signings were made as well. I signed two british talents in Steven Regal & David Taylor. I've had them form the British Combat Club stable with Norman Smiley, Dynamite Kid & Johnny Smith. Takao Omori was brought in from the AJPW dojo joining this class of young lions. Yuji Nagata & Jun Akiyama have also wrestled a number of matches to try up their pops with Jun now at 16 and Yuji at 13. The final card has been decided for the most part outside of some young lion and puro dad matchesOctober Giant Series

I know the right move was probably to have the British Bruisers win the all asia tag titles however I'd rather I didnt do that since I do not trust Dynamite Kid to be a champion of any kind. I think he was great in the 80s and he doesn't get the credit he deserves but at this point he was really out of it. Just high as a kite on painkillers all the time and was in no way the same competitor he used to be. I will have Kikuchi & Kobashi lose the titles soon but not quite here. Kobashi & Kikuchi's reign is now at 146 days and 2 defences Main Event: vs Did anyone actually think I would have Terry Funk win? I felt it was a good opponent for Misawa to kind of solidify his reign. Having beaten Hansen to win the title and now defended it against Terry Funk & Johnny Smith it now has a solid foundation to pop off. It got an 86 which was slightly better than I expected but I mean I guess I underestimated what Terry Funk could do. Either way it was a good way to end the first tour. Misawa's reign is now at 62 days with 2 defences The next tour is the Real World Tag League which will be a lot of fun to book. I'll likely bring in a few people for it such as Dory Funk Jr, and a very special surprise from NJPW. I'll post the preview for the tournament next

Real World Tag League 1992As you can see, It was quite a tough fight near the top of the block. A staggering 6 out of 10 teams finished with double digit points. The final ended up being Misawa & Kawada vs Taue & Akiyama, Which will be done at the final tour show. Kenta Kobashi also picked up a pinfall victory against Mitsuharu Misawa which could potentially lead to a future Triple Crown Championship match between the stable mates. Taue was obviously Tag Team champion alongside Jumbo prior to Jumbo's devastating hepatitis C diagnosis. He'll be hoping to do his former partner proud and win the league and vacant Tag Team championships. Misawa & Kawada meanwhile are looking to go all the way and win their first tag league. Misawa as the Triple Crown Champion stands the chance of becoming a double champion and you have to imagine he wants nothing more than that.AJPW Real World Tag League 1992 Final Card: vs Misawa & Kawada vs Taue & Akiyama: Real World Tag League final & World Tag Team Championship vs Kenta Kobashi vs Steve Williams vs Shinya Hashimoto vs Akira Maeda: Hashimoto debut match

AJPW Real World Tag Series final The first match of the night in Fukouka was a 6 man between Johnny Ace & The Can-Am Express vs The Headhunters & Dory Funk Jr. This match was supposed to involved Takada as I planned on having him beat Dory as I wanted to have him win the Million Yen Battle Royal and earn a shot at Misawa but I forgot about the MMA stuff. So in the end Dan Kroffat pinned Dory with a Tiger Driver at 14:38. vs
