Smackville (Smackdown Live)
Date: July 27th, 2019
Location: Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tennessee
Note
(Following Extreme Rules, Shinsuke Nakamura is traded to Raw for Ricochet, this will be important come Summerslam. It's also important to point out that The Wildcard Rule doesn't exist either, but you already knew that by now.)
Card
Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The New Day (C) vs The Authors of Pain
(Following The New Day's tag title win at Extreme Rules, they draw the ire of The Authors of Pain, who win a #1 contenders match over Lucha House Party to become #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. The New Day say that hey won’t allow a pair of nightclub bouncers to push them around. AOP say that ever since kicking Drake Maverick to the curb, they've been rewriting the book of pain, and will conclude with a Smackdown tag title victory.)
Ricochet vs Randy Orton
(Following his trade to Smackdown, Ricochet begins feuding with Randy Orton, who isn't very welcoming of The Future of Flight joining The Blue Brand.)
WWE United States Championship
Alesiter Black (C) vs The Miz
(The Miz invites Aleister Black on to an episode of Miz TV following Extreme Rules, and challenges Black to a US title match at Smackville, saying that in his opinion, he doesn't get the hype around Aleister Black, sure he's got a connection with the fans, but he thinks someone can better represent the US title than Black, and that someone is him. Black accepts, saying talk is cheap, and he'll find out if Miz can back up his words in battle.)
Elias vs Roman Reigns
(In June, Roman Reigns is attacked by an unknown assailant, writing him off TV for a number of weeks. Roman returns in late July and is determined to fight out who did it. Roman returns on the Smackdown after Extreme Rules, but before he can address how attacked him, Elias (who recently turned heel again after losing a match to Chad Gable) interrupts and says that nobody missed Roman, nobody noticed he was gone, just like the end of last year. Roman then spears Elias, and challenges him to a match at Smackville to put The Drifter in his place.)
Smackdown Women's Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs Kairi Sane w/Asuka
(Sane wins a Fatal 4-Way #1 contenders match over Asuka, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville to secure a title shot against Liv Morgan. Kairi says she was happy for Liv when she cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to become Smackdown Women's Champion, but her title reign is about to be sunk deep under water. Liv says she respects Kairi, she's one hell of an athlete, she's followed her career in Stardom, but she didn't have that same platform that Sane did, she stared off in the PC, at the bottom, and had to work her way up to the top, whilst Kairi already had the credibility to get to where she needed to be. Liv wins after rolling out of the way of an InSane Elbow, allowing Liv to hit the 201 Facebreaker into an Ob-Liv-ion for the win. Both women shake hands after the match.)
WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston (C) vs Dolph Ziggler
(On the Smackdown after Extreme Rules, Dolph Ziggler addresses his return and attack of Kofi Kingston, cutting that infamous "IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!" promo and demanding for a WWE Championship against Kofi at Smackville. Kofi says it was Dolph, 6 years ago, then it wasn't, and it's not going to be again, and he needs to get over it.)

(The UE beat Breezango in a #1 contenders match to get this opportunity. O'Reilly and Fish say that The Street Profits have been overlooking them since they came to NXT and that they’ll make them sit up and take notice by becoming the first ever 3-time NXT Tag Team Champions. The SP say that the world doesn’t need another UE title reign. Triple Threat Match for the NXT North American Championship
Velveteen Dream (C) vs Roderick Strong vs Pete Dunne
(Strong gets this opportunity after pinning Dream in a 6-man tag team match. Pete Dunne gets involved when he attacks both men, performing his signature finger break on both. Dream says that Roddy is a hell of an athlete, but he is no Velveteen Dream, and that Pete Dunne only thinks he's deserving of a shot at the title because he held the NXT UK championship for 2 years, when during that time he faced d level competition, while The Dream is facing the best of the best.)
NXT Women's Championship
Shayna Baszler (C) w/Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir vs Mia Yim
(Mia beats Bianca Belair in a #1 contenders match to get this opportunity. Mia says that Shayna has never won anything in her life clean, so she knows she can't win alone, leading to her taking out Duke and Shafir. Shayna says that Mia doesn't deserve a title shot, she deserves a prison sentence, and will put her and her street trash fantasy to sleep in a fight that she knows she can't win, so why should she even bother trying.)
3 Stages of Hell Match for the NXT Championship
Adam Cole (C) vs Johnny Gargano (2-1)
(William Regal see's that Adam and Johnny are 1-1, so he needs to makes this match and lets them pick the first 2 falls, with Regal picking the 3rd fall if it's needed. Cole picks a straight up wrestling match for the first fall, since that's how he won the first fall at Takeover: New York, and the title. Gargano picks a no holds barred match for the 2nd fall, because he wants to beat Adam Cole within an inch of his life. Regal picks a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match for the 3rd fall, to keep out The Undisputed Era.)

Location: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Card
Pre Show
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Drew Gulak (C) vs Humberto Carillo
(Carillo beats Tony Nese and Mike Kanellis in a triple threat match to get this opportunity. Gulak says that all Carillo is about is flippy sh*t, which isn't wrestling, and The Wrestling Machine is gonna lay him out for a nice nap at Summerslam.)
Elias vs Ricochet
(After scoring a shock win over Randy Orton at Smackville, Ricochet moves on to a feud with Elias. Elias says that Ricochet has all of these mindless people thinking he's amazing, when he's just generic flippy guy #12, because if it were up to him, Ricochet would be out of a job in a heartbeat. Ricochet says if Elias wants to back up his words, he knows where to find him, and that's in the ring.)
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Elimination Match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
The IIconics (C) vs The Kabuki Warriors vs Fire N Desire vs Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
(All 3 teams want a shot at The IIconics and their tag titles. This is the same match that aired on the 08/05/19 episode of Raw.)
Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The New Day (C) vs The Authors of Pain vs The Viking Raiders
(The New Day continue to feud with AOP following their victory over AOP at Smackville, with The Viking Raiders (who have been on an impressive win streak ever since getting called up to Smackdown) getting in on the action after saving Big E and Woods from a beatdown by Akam & Rezar. This leads to Paige making a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the Smackdown Tag Titles between the 3 teams for Summerslam. The Viking Raiders say that they have pillaged everyone who has stood in there way to get a tag team title match, and now that they have it, it's time to complete their path to becoming Smackdown Tag Team Champions. AOP say that The New Day got lucky at Smackville, but they won't let lightning strike twice. Big E & Woods simply want to continue their reign as tag team champs.)
Main Card
Roman Reigns vs Buddy Murphy
(Following his victory over Elias at Smackville, Roman Reigns resumes his quest to find out who attacked him, and Buddy Murphy is his prime suspect as Murphy was in the hallway at the time of the attack. So, thinking either Buddy was the one who did it or Buddy knows who did it, Roman questions Buddy, but Buddy refuses to tell him anything. Roman then assaults Buddy until he tells him who did it, when Buddy reveals it was Erick Rowan, all while Daniel Bryan and Rowan are watching on from the ring after Bryan had a match against Mustafa Ali. Following the match, Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan attack Buddy Murphy for trying to implement Erick Rowan into this situation, before Roman runs down for the save, turning Buddy face. This is the same match from the 08/13/19 episode of Smackdown.)
Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Lacey Evans
(Lacey wins a Fatal 4-Way #1 contenders match over Naomi, Natalya, and Carmella to become #1 contender to Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship. Becky says that Lacey isn't ready to step up to The Man. Lacey says that behind Becky's "The Man" bravado is fear, fear that once she loses her title, she'll fade back into obscurity.)
WWE United States Championship
Aleister Black (C) vs Daniel Bryan w/Erick Rowan
(Bryan begins targeting Black and his US title following Extreme Rules. Daniel says that Aleister is a disgrace to humanity with all of his tattoos, and can't wait to knee his head off and win the US title. Black says that Bryan thinks he's all for the environment, yet he thinks that winning the US title will make things better, when in reality everything will stay the same. Black wins after a distraction from Roman Reigns leads to Bryan going for the running knee, but it gets countered into the Black Mass.)
Raw Tag Team Championships
The Usos (C) vs The Good Brothers
(Gallows and Anderson beat The Revival to become #1 contenders to The Usos tag team championships. The Good Brothers say that The Usos' win back at Money in the Bank was a fluke, and it's gonna be way harder for them to keep the belts after winning it. The Usos say they already locked these two clowns in The Uso Penitentiary, and they'll be headed right back there.)
Smackdown Women's Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs Charlotte Flair
(Charlotte renews her feud with Liv following Extreme Rules. The Omniflair says that all Liv is is just some new jersey trash who doesn't even deserve to be Smackdown Women's Champion. Liv says that she already humiliated Charlotte when she cashed in on her, and will gladly do it again at Summerslam.)
Bobby Lashley vs Samoa Joe
(This feud begins on the Raw after Extreme Rules when Samoa Joe and Bobby Lashley eliminate each other from a battle royal. The following week, Samoa Joe wins a match over Zack Ryder. Following that win by Joe, Bobby Lashley comes down post-match and stares off with Joe, only to spear Ryder. The week after that, Lashley beats Heath Slater, when Samoa Joe comes down post match, but instead of attacking Heath (like Bobby did to Zack the previous week), Joe attacks Bobby, turning The Samoan Submission Machine face. Lashley says he has been the most dominant force in all of wwe, and Joe is just some imposter. Joe says that Bobby fears him, that's why he returned on Raw the previous year when he went to Smackdown, and that when he returned to Raw, Bobby had to hide behind Lio Rush and use him as a meat shield, but now, there's no Lio for Bobby to hide behind.)
WWE Intercontinental Championship
EC3 (C) vs AJ Styles w/The Good Brothers
(AJ begins feuding with EC3 after Extreme Rules, pinning him in a 6 man tag team match on the Raw after Extreme Rules, and earning himself a shot at the IC title the following week. EC3 is attacked before the match by The Good Brothers, and is unable to compete, leading to Styles declaring himself the Intercontinental Champion, going as far as to unveil his version of the title (the current design of the IC title). EC3 says that attacking the champ from behind to prevent him from competing doesn't make you a champion, and will show that at Summerslam when he drives AJ's head into the mat to show he's the true Intercontinental Champion.)
Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs Kevin Owens
(Following Nakamura being traded to Raw, KO focuses his attention back to singles competition, only to be attacked by Brock Lesnar after a WWE title match against Kofi Kingston which KO loses, with Heyman revealing he has a loophole in his contract that allows for Brock to appear on Smackdown, saying that he can manage any client of his choosing (Brock or Nakamura) on any brand he chooses, and since Shinsuke is on Raw, that free's up Brock to work Smackdown. Heyman says that KO made Paul feel voiceless during his run with Shinsuke as NaKOmura, and will make Kevin pay for his sins by being sent to Suplex City. KO says it doesn't matter how many suplexes and F5's Brock hits him with, he's gonna get back up every time.)
Trish Stratus vs Bayley
(Trish Stratus shows up on an episode of Miz TV on Smackdown following Extreme Rules to help promote Summerslam which is in her hometown of Toronto. Bayley then interrupts his segment and isn't pleased with old legends being brought back for spots on tv. Trish says that she has one more match left in her, and challenges Bayley to a match at Summerslam, which Bayley accepts. Following the match, Bayley goes to do her ritual of leg breaking, as she grabs a chair, wraps it around Trish's leg, goes to grab the stairs, but just as she enters the ring and is about to pick them up, Sasha Banks makes her return and saves Trish, causing Bayley to retreat.)
"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor
(A few weeks after Wrestlemania, vignettes begin airing for The Firefly Funhouse, with it showing Bray Wyatt as a friendly, yet creepy, kids TV show host, but with a dark alter ego known as The Fiend. Bray says that he's not after any championships or friends on the roster, he's focused on one thing, there are 10 men who have wronged him over the years, and he is going to assassinate all 10. Wyatt starts with Finn Balor, proclaiming that Balor's Demon monecre overshadowed him, made the fans forget about him, and now it's time for The Fiend to return the favour. In the weeks following Extreme Rules, Finn demands for Bray Wyatt to come to the ring, but he only gets answers from Mr. Rodgers Bray Wyatt via The Firefly Funhouse, with Bray saying that Finn taught Bray the power, of friendship, because Yowie Wowie, sometimes you have to look deep inside, to find your best friend. Finn challenges Bray to a match at Summerslam, which Bray accepts, telling Finn to bring his friend, because he'll bring his. This is the same match as in real life, only it's Demon Finn Balor who gets squashed by The Fiend. Balor is sent back to NXT following this.)
Ladder Match for the WWE Championship
Kofi Kingston (C) vs Dolph Ziggler
(Following his loss at Smackville, Ziggler demands one more match against Kofi, saying that he needs to grab that brass ring and become WWE Champion because he has to, so he's not challenging Kofi to any normal match, but a Ladder Match. Kofi accepts, with him saying that he will finally make Dolph stop clinging on to the past. Dolph guarantees that the next time Kofi visits Ghana, it will be an apology for failing his home country and losing the WWE Championship.)
WWE Championship - Money in the Bank Cash in
Kofi Kingston (C) vs Andrade "Cien" Almas w/Zelina Vega
(Following his successful title defense over Ziggler, a hooded fan comes out from out of the crowd, gets in the ring, and low blows Kofi. The hooded figure then takes off their hood... it's Zelina Vega! Andrade "Cien" Almas' music then hits, and out comes Mr. Money in the Bank, who walks down and cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase. El Idolo hits one Hammerlock DDT for the win, ending Kofimania, and becoming WWE Champion.)
World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins (C) vs Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman
(Following his trade to Raw, Nakamura makes an immediate impact, winning a battle royal to become #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Seth says that this is a dream match fans have wanted to see for years, one of the best from western wrestling vs one of the best from eastern wrestling. Heyman says that just because Rollins "Slayed the beast" doesn't mean the same will happen to The King of Strongstyle, as he'll knee Rollins so hard, he won't be able to have kids with his girlfriend. This line pi$$es of Rollins, who continues his slow burn heel turn and attacks Nakamura and cost him matches (not fully heel). The match is a 25-minute classic, with Naka winning with a Kinshasa to become World Heavyweight Champion.)

(Tensions between these two women finally reach boiling point after months of resentment. Piper Niven makes her debut on the 03/27/2019 episode of NXT UK and confronts Rhea Ripley. Piper says that Rhea is no longer the most dominant woman in NXT UK, and that she is. Rhea says that Piper hasn’t even earned the right and that she won’t stand aside for anybody. After both women brawl following a tag match, Johnny Saint makes this match. This is Rhea’s farewell match in NXT UK. Following this match, Rhea turns face by helping Niven to her feet and nodding towards her in mutual respect.)
Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov
(Not much story to this match. Cesaro announces in a backstage interview on Raw that he will be stopping by NXT UK at Takeover: Cardiff to get a hands-on experience of what the brand is like. Dragunov is revealed as The Swiss Cyborg's opponent.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships
Grizzled Young Veterans (C) vs Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster vs Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) w/Joe Coffey
(After winning the NXT UK Tag Team Championship in Blackpool, Zack Gibson and James Drake declare themselves the UK’s #1 tag team and that every other tag team should get in line if they want a shot at their titles. Andrews and Webster score a shock win over Imperium to earn an opportunity, while Gallus defeat The Hunt to get a spot in this match. After all three teams brawl when Gibson runs his mouth, Johnny Saint makes this match a triple threat. The GYV hit Webster with a Ticket to Mayhem, but Andrews lands a shooting star press on Gibson, who’s trying to pin Webster, and drapes The Modfather over Liverpool’s #1 to become the first ever Welsh Champions in WWE history.)
NXT UK Women’s Championship
Toni Storm (C) vs Kay Lee Ray
(After debuting on the 03/13/2019 episode of NXT UK, Kay Lee Ray begins a small undefeated streak that culminates in winning a battle royal on the 06/19/2019 episode of NXT UK to become the number one contender. In the build, KLR engages in psychological warfare with Toni Storm, accusing Storm of being a disingenuous friend during their time together in Japan. KLR says Toni is a disgrace to not only NXT UK, but to her family whom she abandoned to pursue a selfish dream, and that she will embarrass her in Cardiff. Storm says KLR can stoop as low as she wants, but she’s made it personal and she won’t let the mind-games prevent her from kicking KLR’s ass. Toni Time comes to a screeching halt as a Gory Special from KLR ends Toni’s 231-day reign.)
NXT UK Championship
GUNTHER (C) vs Tyler Bate
(On the 05/22/2019 episode of NXT UK, GUNTHER defeats Pete Dunne in a rematch for the United Kingdom Championship after interference from Ludwig Kaiser and Giovani Vinci (formerly known as Marcel Bartel and Fabian Aichner respectively). The following week, GUNTHER announces that they will be known as Imperium, saying that the mat is sacred, and that they will bring prestige back to a sport that has forgotten its integrity and morals. Their first target is British Strong Style, whom they defeat in a 6-man tag team match thanks to shocking interference from Alexander Wolfe. They also attack and injure Tyler Bate, with The Ring General repeatedly powerbombing Bate into the ring post, and finally on the ring apron, while forcing Trent Seven to watch. Bate makes his triumphant return on the 08/21/2019 episode of NXT UK to attack Imperium backstage and decimate GUNTHER with a steel chair. Bate says GUNTHER tried to end his career, so he’ll end his reign as United Kingdom Champion and save NXT UK from his tyranny. WALTER says he will crush the last remnant of British Strong Style under his boot and make a man out of The Big Strong Boi. This is the same classic it was in real life, with the last five minutes seeing Bate kick out of everything GUNTHER throws at him until a lariat puts The Big Strong Boi down.)

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Drew Gulak (C) vs Lio Rush
(Lio Rush makes a surprise return on an episode of 205 live after months away following Bobby Lashley's betrayal of him, now in the Cruiserweight Division, eyeing champion Drew Gulak and his Cruiserweight Championship. Gulak says that he had to retreat to this division because he couldn't compete in the land of the giants, as seen when Brock Lesnar humiliated him. Lio says he avoided this division for as long as possible because he knew he wasn't gonna face any real competition, but Drew Gulak has proved him wrong.)
WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (C) vs Fire & Desire
(Not much story. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville run their mouths about Nikki Cross backstage, leading to Alexa Bliss sticking up for her tag team partner and challenging them to a match.)
Raw Tag Team Championships
The Usos (C) vs Heavy Machinery
(Otis and Tucker defeat The Revival, The Good Brothers, and Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins to become #1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championships. Otis & Tuckers say that they've been busting their a$$es off like the blue collar men that they are to try and get another Raw Tag Team Title Shot after coming up short back at the Royal Rumble, and now that they have it, they'll bulldoze The Usos to become the Raw Tag Team Champions. The Usos say that Otis & Tucker are on a one-way trip to The Uso Penitentiary.)
Main Card
Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The New Day (C) vs The Viking Raiders
(Erik & Ivar defeat The Authors of Pain to become the #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. Erik & Ivar say that The New Day escaped with the gold back at Summerslam because AOP were in the way, but now that they've gotten past them, there's no more roadblocks on their path to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. The New Day respond by mimicking The Viking Raiders, which doesn't sit well with Erik & Ivar. The Viking Raiders score the win with a Viking Experience on Big E to claim their first tag team titles. Both teams shake hands after the match.)
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
EC3 (C) vs AJ Styles w/The Good Brothers vs Cedric Alexander
(AJ continues to feud with EC3 following Summerslam, saying that EC3 "stole" his Intercontinental Championship, and will gladly take it back at Clash of Champions. In the leadup, Cedric Alexander ends up pinning both men in 1 on 1 matches, which leads to Raw GM Mickie James rewarding him for it and adding him to the match. Cedric guarantees he will win his first title on the main roster in his hometown.)
Falls Count Anywhere Match for the Smackdown Women's Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs Charlotte Flair
(Liv's feud with The Omniflair continues after Summerslam. Charlotte says she is wrestling royalty, and demands Liv hand over what she isn't capable of carrying. Liv says she's not gonna let some spoiled daddy's girl take what she's worked her whole life for. Since both women want to beat the crap out of each other, Smackdown GM Paige makes the match a Falls Count Anywhere match.)
WWE United States Championship
Aleister Black (C) vs Rusev w/Lana
(Rusev decides to quit waiting around in catering following Summerslam and targets Aleister Black and his US title. Rusev says he will redeem himself for the agonizing months he spent without anything to do, and promises to take the US title and once again prove why he is the greatest US Champion of all time when he becomes a 4-time United States Champion. Black says that he will send The Bulgarian Brute back to the purgatory he spent the past year in.)
Bayley vs Sasha Banks
(Following her return at Summerslam, Sasha (and her new blue hair) goes right for Bayley. Sasha says that the Bayley she knows is dead, this person isn't Bayley, this "Bayley" is some angry high school emo with a soccer mom haircut who's jealous that she's barely accomplished anything on the main roster, and challenges her to a match at Clash of Champions to put her in her place. Bayley accepts, Sasha's challenge, promising to break this naive little girl, just like she did her leg. The match is extremely one-sided, with Bayley dominating Sasha. Sasha does make a brief comeback at the end, but Bayley thwarts it and wins with the Bayley-to-Belly.)
2 out of 3 Falls Match for the Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Lacey Evans (2-1)
(Lacey continues to chase after Becky's title after Summerslam, saying that Becky should be stripped of the title, for being "the man" and not "the woman", because it's a woman's right to hold that title. Becky is fine with giving Lacey another shot at the title, but makes sure it's a 2 out of 3 falls match, so she can have the satisfaction of beating Lacey twice in one night.)
Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton
Note
(It's not The Fiend, just Mr. Rodgers Bray. It'll only be The Fiend if it says "The Fiend" whenever I book Bray Wyatt.)
(Following Summerslam, there is now a jagged line in the funhouse to represent the first of his 10 victims. Bray Wyatt (who has no brand loyalties) now moves to the next target on his hitlist, Randy Orton, for him infiltrating and destroying The Wyatt Family. During all this, Bray introduces a new puppet to the funhouse named Cobra Keith, who always pops up from out of nowhere from out of a gym bag. Every time Cobra Keith does this, Bray has to "confiscate matches" from Cobra Keith, telling the audience to not play with fire, and saying to Cobra Keith "every time someone gets close to giving you what you deserve, you shed your skin, put on a new face, and slither away". Orton becomes sick of this tv show host act Bray is performing, and challenges him to a match at Clash of Champions. Bray accepts, but it'll just be normal Bray for now, he thinks he can take Orton. The Apex Predator mops the floor with Sweater Bray.)
WWE Championship
Andrade "Cien" Almas (C) w/Zelina Vega vs Kofi Kingston w/Big E and Xavier Woods
(Unlike in real life, Kofi actually gives a sh*t about Kofimania ending, and makes it his mission to make Andrade's life a living hell until he wins back his championship. Kofi says that he let Kofimania end, and he guarantees it will begin again when he kicks Andrade's face off. Zelina says that Kofi only became WWE Champion because a bunch of people chanted his name during a match, whereas Andrade had to climb the ladder, topple 7 other man, and come up with the mastermind plan to bring the WWE Championship around the waist of El Idolo, who doesn't plan on losing it for a long time.)
Roman Reigns & Buddy Murphy vs Daniel Bryan & Erick Rowan
(Bryan & Rowan continue to go after Reigns and Murphy following Murphy's implication of Rowan as Reigns' mystery attacker. Bryan says that Buddy Murphy is a liar who cannot be trusted, and Roman should know better than that. Roman says that Buddy pushed him to the limit at Summerslam, he earned his respect, he can trust him, and they will topple Bryan and Rowan at COC. Following their win, Erick Rowan shockingly turns on Daniel Bryan when he lays him out with the Iron Claw. Rowan then gets on the mic, and admits he was the one who attacked Roman Reigns, but he wasn't alone, he had 2 accomplices... it's Luke Harper and Elias! Outcome Luke Harper and Elias, who help Rowan triple power bomb Reigns.)
World Heavyweight Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) w/Paul Heyman vs Seth Rollins
(Rollins invokes his rematch clause against Naka following Summerslam, saying that Summerslam was his worst day and was Nakamura's best, he knows he can defeat Shinsuke, and will emphty the gas tank to walk out 2 time World Heavyweight Champion. Heyman says that Rollins is delirious if he thinks he's gonna defeat Nakamura, because this match will end exactly the same, with a Kinshasa, then Seth looking up at the lights. Rollins is noticbley acting more heelish in this match, grabbing the tights when rolling up Naka, using the ropes as leverage, but it's not enough, as Naka wins with a pair of Kinshasa's. Following the match, Rollins shockingly low blows Nakamura, and hits him with a pair of Curb Stomps, turning heel, and becoming the Monday Night Messiah, complete with a new entrance theme.)

Aleister Black (C) vs Dolph Ziggler
(Following his failure to become WWE Champion, Dolph moves his attention to Aleister Black and his US title. Dolph says that Aleister is a very intriuging commodity that accomplashied so much in such little time, but at Hell in a Cell, he ends that hype when he becomes a 3 time United States Champion. Black says that Dolph is a has been who still thinks it's 2013 where he's one of the faces of the company, but he's had a deep fall from grace in the pecking order.)
Main Card
Hell in a Cell Match
Bayley vs Sasha Banks
(Following her being on the receiving end of a one sided domination, Sasha demmands a rematch with Bayley, and demands it be inside the devils playground, Hell in a Cell. Bayley accepts Sasha's challenge, saying she gets to finally end the career of Sasha, and make sure she leaves in a bodybag. Unlike their match at Clash of Champions, the match is extremley even, until Bayley counters The Banks Statement with The Rose Plant (now a signature), before hitting the Bayley-to-Belly on thumbtacks for the win (to further get across that Bayley is one sick f*ck).)
WWE Intercontinental Championship
EC3 (C) vs Bobby Lashley
(Following his victory over Samoa Joe at Summerslam, The Almighty moves his attention to EC3 and his Intercontinental Championship, securing his status as #1 contender after a Battle Royal victory. Lashley says that the fans may not know it, but he and EC3 have history together, when they had a series of matches outside of WWE, but who usually came out on top in their series, Walking Armageddon did. EC3 says that Bobby may have won the majority of those matches, but he wasn't why all those fans watched those matches, they came to watch the megastar EC3, not the man who couldn't draw money with a green crayon and a white piece of paper.)
King of the Ring Finals
Baron Corbin vs Chad Gable
(Not much story, just the finals of the King of the Ring tounrament that's been going on since early September. Corbin gets past Cedric Alexander, Rey Mysterio, and Samoa Joe to make it to the finals, while Gable gets past Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, and Elias to make it to the finals. No short jokes for Gable either, because we're not doing Shorty G.)
6-Man Tag Team Tornado Match
Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, & Buddy Murphy vs Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, & Elias
(After admitting to being the perpetrator in Roman's attack, Rowan says he's tired of just being used as muscle, and wants a career for himself, which Daniel Bryan could never give him, so he recruited an old friend in Harper, and a new one in Elias to help boost his career. Bryan (who's now a face again, but not doing the yes movement just yet) says that he thought Rowan was his friend, but if really was the caniving individual behind his back, then he will get what he deserves. Bryan also admits to being wrong about Buddy Murphy, and apologizes to him, teaming up with The Big Dog and The Juggernaut to take out a common enemy. This is Luke Harper's last match, as he leaves the company in December to go to AEW and become Mr. Brodie Lee before his passing in December 2020.)
I Quit Match for the Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Lacey Evans
(Lacey demmands she get one more match for the Raw Women's Championship, wanting to make Becky scream out in pain in ultimate humiliation. Becky says that she's starting to get annoyed with Lacey continung to go after, so she's fine with one more match, but it's going to be an I Quit Match, so when Lacey says those 2 words, she'll finally leave her alone.)
"The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton
(Following COC, Bray Wyatt burns Cobra Keith in the firefly funhouse, saying "he tried man", and now he didn't want it to come to this, but "he" wants to vanquish Orton, and challenges him to a match at Hell in a Cell. Orton says it doesn't matter which version of Bray shows up, he will still fall victim to the three most dangerous letters in pro wrestling, R-K-O. The match is pretty even, but then Orton goes for an RKO, and Bray kicks out at 1, then immediatley sinches in The Mandible Claw for the win.)
Raw Tag Team Championships
The Usos (C) vs The Authors of Pain
(Smackdown's Authors of Pain win a cross-brand battle royal to become #1 contenders to The Usos tag team championships. AOP says it's been far too long since they've held any gold, and they now have the perfect opportunity to become champions once again, bludgeoning The Usos and taking their Raw Tag Team titles. The Usos say that AOP haven't been releveant in over a year, and now they think they can just step up to them after months of watching the show in catering. Akam and Rezar score the win with a Last Chapter on Jimmy Uso to become 2-time Raw Tag Team Champions, wit this tag title win moving them back over to Raw.)
Last Woman Standing Match for the Smackdown Women's Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs Charlotte Flair
(Charlotte and Liv's feud blow's off here. Charlotte says she finally gets to humiliate Liv Morgan once and for all by insuirng she can't walk. Liv says she will cement Charlotte's status as a natural born choker who can never get the job done. Liv debuts a new look here, now once again sporting blonde hair, and wearing new entrance gear.)
Last Chance Match for the WWE Championship
Andrade "Cien" Almas (C) w/Zelina Vega vs Kofi Kingston w/Big E and Xavier Woods
(Kofi beats Rusev, Ricochet, and Kevin Owens to get one more match for the WWE Championship against Andrade at Hell in a Cell. Zelina says that she admires Kofi's perseverance to keep trying to win back the title, but it's just not going to happen, because if, no when Kofi loses, he will never see the WWE title again, because he won't be able to challenge for the WWE Championship. Kofi says he knows this is his last chance, he needs to revive Kofimania and become a 2-time WWE Champion.)
Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) w/Paul Heyman vs Seth Rollins
(Now that he's transformed into the Monday Night Messiah, Rollins wants one more match for the title, which he gets by beating AJ Styles and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat #1 contenders match. Rollins says that he attacked Nakamura following their match at Clash of Champions because it was for the greater good, and Nakamura needs to realise that he needs to embrace the vision and hand over the World Heavyweight Championship, even if it means him taking a f*cking beating inside Hell in a Cell. Heyman says that Rollins is starting to lose his mind, thinking he's Crossfit Jesus, when in reality he's Charles Manson with a fetish for leather jackets, and it looks like Nakamura will have to beat Rollins' humanity back into him.)

NXT Takeover: Wargames III
Date: November 23rd, 2019
Location: United Center, Chicago, Illinois
Card
Wargames Match
Team Baszler (Shayna Baszler, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kay Lee Ray) vs Team Ripley (Rhea Ripley, Candice Lerae, Tegan Nox, and Dakota Kai)
(Ripley begins feuding with Baszler in October, after Shayna has beaten just about everyone. On the 10/29/19 episode of NXT (NXT airs on Tuesdays after moving to the USA Network so they don't go head to head with AEW Dynamite), Baszler, Ripley, and multiple women get into a brawl, leading to William Regal coming out and announcing for the first time ever, women will compete in, WARGAMES! Both Baszler and Ripley chose their teams. Baszler picks Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray. Ripley picks Candice Lerae, Tegan Nox, and Mia Yim, which doesn't sit well with Dakota Kai that she was left off the team. On the go-home episode of NXT before both Wargames and Survivor Series, Bayley invades NXT, attacking Mia Yim, and doing her signature chair wrapping and stair-dropping to (kayfabe) break Mia's leg, forcing her to be pulled from the match. Following this, Ripley reluctantly adds Dakota to the team. When Dakota enters the match, she turns right around and nails Tegan with a sidekick and brutally attacks her leg, taking Nox out of the match, and walking out on her team. Despite the 4-on-2 disadvantage, Ripley and Candice win after a poinsrana from the top of the cage to KLR.)
NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Lio Rush (C) vs Angel Garza
(Garza defeats Isaiah "Swerve" Scott on an episode of NXT to become number one contender. In the build up, Garza comes out to taunt Lio's Wife and Son sitting in the crowd at Full Sail University during Rush’s match with KUSHIDA. Garza says he’s the most handsome man in NXT, and someone like him should have the Cruiserweight Championship to show for it. Rush says he’ll rearrange Garza’s face and make him regret getting his family involved.)
Triple Threat Match to determine who will challenge Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at Survivor Series the following night
Pete Dunne vs Damian Priest vs Killian Dain
(In September, Dunne and Priest begin a seires of matches, with each man trading victories over each other. Eventually, a #1 contenders match is set up between the 2 where the winner will challenge Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at Survivor Series. The match is interrupted by Killian Dain, who attacks both men to cause a double dq. Dain says that he finds it baffling that he's not in the title hunt, because if anyone deserves to defeat Adam Cole, it's him. William Regal sets this match up, to give all 3 men a potential title shot.)
Finn Balor vs Matt Riddle
(On the 10/22/19 episode of NXT, Finn Balor shockingly turns heel by attacking Johnny Gargano and helping The Undisputed Era ambush #DIY. It's eventually revealed that Johnny Gargano will be out for a number of weeks due to injuries sustained in the attack. Balor says that he came back to NXT because he hates what it's become. It's no longer all these men duking it out, it's just a bunch of little boys, so here he is, a god amongst boys who is going to rebuild NXT back to the way it was. Matt Riddle isn't pleased with Balor, and forfeits his spot on team Ciampa to go after Finn Balor and beat some sense into him.)
Wargames Match
Team Ciampa (Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and a mystery partner (Kevin Owens) vs The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong)
(Ciampa returns from his neck injury on the 10/01/19 episode of NXT, and sets his sights straight for Adam Cole and "Goldie". Following Finn Balor's shocking betrayal, Ciampa gets William Regal to make a wargames match so he cane exact revenge on the UE. Ciampa recruits Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic, and Matt Riddle to be on his team, but Riddle withdraws so he can go after Balor, leading Ciampa to find a mystery 4th man. Ciampa eventually finds Kevin Owens, who returns to that same thunderous pop as in real life. Team Ciampa wins after Tommaso gives Adam Cole a White Noise off the top of the cage through 2 tables, as Adam Cole's girlfriend Britt Baker watches on with her hands over her face.)

(Not much story)
Champions vs Champions vs Champions Triple Threat Tag Team Match
The Authors of Pain (Raw Tag Team) vs The Viking Raiders (Smackdown Tag Team) vs The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) (NXT Tag Team)
(The story for this match is linked to the story of the midcard title triple threat later on in the night. With NXT running roughshod over both Smackdown and Raw on back to back shows, this enrages United States Champion Aleister Black, who enlists Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain to have his back as he does an NXT invasion of his own on the 11/05/2019 episode of NXT, where they attack The Undisputed Era in the parking lot and lay them out. Black & AOP continue to attack members of the NXT roster until William Regal punishes the trio by putting them in a 6-man tag team match in the main event against Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, and Matt Riddle. That match ends in a no contest when Intercontinental Champion EC3 and Smackdown Tag Team Champions The War Raiders show up and lay out both teams, with EC3 giving Black a One Percenter on the IC title, and Hanson & Rowe giving both Authors of Pain a Viking Fallout.)
Main Card
Triple Threat Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Alexa Bliss, & Nikki Cross) vs Team Smackdown (Bayley, Sasha Banks, Sarah Logan, Lacey Evans, & Carmella) vs Team NXT (Rhea Ripley, Candice Lerae, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, & Toni Storm)
(Not that much story. NXT frequently invades both Raw and Smackdown, leading to Bayley invading NXT and injuring Mia Yim, taking her out of this match, necessitating Toni Storm to substitute in. It comes down to Bayley for Smackdown, whilst NXT has Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, and Candice Lerae. Bayley manages to use her raw power to overcome adversity and score Smackdown it's 2nd win of the night, concluding with 2 Bayley to Belly's on Rhea.)

Champion vs Champion vs Champion Triple Threat Match
Aleister Black (United States) vs EC3 (Intercontinental) vs Roderick Strong (North American)
(Just like I said above, the story of this match is tied to the triple threat tag team match.)
NXT Championship
Adam Cole (C) vs Pete Dunne
(This match doesn't have much build due to Dunne only becoming #1 contender the previous night. Adam says before the show that it didn't matter who won that match, they were just going to earn a spot on Cole's highlight reel.)
World Heavyweight Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) w/Paul Heyman vs King Corbin
(Following his King of the Ring victory, Corbin gets a guaranteed world title shot against either champion of his chosing, with The King chosing to go for The King of Strong Style. Corbin says that Nakamura is a fraud, how can he proclaim to be a king when he doesn't have the crown to prove it. Heyman says that how can Corbin be taken seriously as a threat when he dresses like The Burger King.)
Triple Threat Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, & Bobby Lashley) vs Team Smackdown (Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Braun Strowman, & Ricochet) vs Team NXT (Tommaso Ciampa, Matt Riddle, Keith Lee, Damian Priest, & Dominik Dijakovic)
(NXT becomes involved in Survivor Series on the 11/01/19 episode Smackdown, where an invasion of Smackdown spearheaded by Tommaso Ciampa leads to NXT getting added to Survivor Series. This doesn't sit well with Raw, who manage to even the odds by succesfully predicting NXT's invasion, and doing an NXT invasion of their own led by Aleister Black and AOP, who know full sail better than anyone else. Seth Rollins (who's now in full on Messiah mode) handpicks his team of Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Bobby Lashley. Roman Reigns beats Sami Zayn to become team captain on Smackdown, with him picking Daniel Bryan, The Miz (who's slowly becoming a tweener), Braun Strowman, and Ricochet. Triple H picks NXT's team, picking Ciampa, Riddle, Lee, Priest, and Dijakovic to fly the NXT flag at Survivor Series. Before the match, Rollins confronts KO backstage, wanting to know why the hell he was at Wargames last night, and if he can trust him. Owens says that he just wanted payback on The UE for their invasions of Raw. In the match, as Strowman is cleaning house, the fiend's noises play as the ligths go out, when they come back up, Strowman is nowhere to be seen. It eventually comes down to just Keith Lee for NXT, Reigns for Smackdown, and Rollins, Orton, and Styles for Raw. Orton suddenly freezes, twitches, then RKO's AJ, allowing Keith Lee to pin him, before heading to the back and getting counted out (this is Bray Wyatt's doing). When Randy is asked about this the following night on Raw, he claims to not know what happened. Keith Lee gets the pin on Reigns, but comes up short against The Messiah, Seth Rollins.)
Bobby Lashley eliminates Dominik Dijakovic by pinfall Kevin Owens eliminates The Miz by pinfall Tommaso Ciampa eliminates Kevin Owens by pinfall Randy Orton eliminates Damian Priest by pinfall Randy Orton eliminates Matt Riddle by pinfall Braun Strowman is eliminated by count out Seth Rollins eliminates Ricochet by pinfall Keith Lee eliminates Bobby Lashley by pinfall Tommaso Ciampa eliminates Daniel Bryan by pinfall Seth Rollins eliminates Tommaso Ciampa by pinfall Keith Lee eliminates AJ Styles by pinfall Randy Orton is eliminated by count out Keith Lee eliminates Roman Reigns by pinfall Seth Rollins eliminates Keith Lee by pinfall
(Sole Survivor: Rollins)
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship
Andrade "Cien" Almas (C) w/Zelina Vega vs Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio vs Drew McIntyre
(On the 10/07/19 episode of Raw, Andrade "Cien" Almas attacks Dominik Mysterio, who's in the front row watching Rey's #1 contenders match against Drew McIntyre. This leads to a heated feud between Rey and Andrade over the next few weeks, but on the 11/04/19 episode of Raw, Drew McIntyre attacks both men, has he wasn't happy that Andrade interupted his match like that, and he and Rey have unfinished buisness. Drew says he deserves to become WWE Champion after all these years away, Rey says he will make Andrade pay for attacking his son, and Zelina says her client will go down as the most dominant WWE Champion in history.)
Champion vs Champion vs Champion Triple Threat Match
Becky Lynch (Raw Women's) vs Liv Morgan (Smackdown Women's) vs Shayna Baszler (NXT Women's)
(The story for this begins on the 11/04/19 episode of Raw, where Shayna Baszler makes an appearance on Raw, declaring that this a dream match, horsewoman vs horsewoman. Becky reminds Shayna that it's a triple threat, and Liv Morgan is in the match, to which Shayna responds "I don't give a sh*t about Liv Morgan, she's just some blonde bimbo from the Jersey Shore who got lucky enough to make it big, she's not a threat". Liv takes this personally, and invades NXT, appearing via the titantron, and revealing to Shayna that she's attacked both Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir in the parking lot, and is going to inflict further punishment to them. Shayna runs out to the parking lot, but once she gets there, she's ambushed by Sarah Logan (Liv's former Riott Squad teammate who turned face shortly after Hell in a Cell by saving Liv from a post-match attack by Lacey Evans). Liv then throws Shayna through a car window, and tells Shayna "am I a threat now B*tch?". As for the tension between Becky and Liv, Becky tries to invade Smackdown just like she did Raw the previous year, only Liv see's it coming, and gets the Smackdown locker room to suprise attack Lynch and the Raw locker room, leading to the Smackdown Women's locker room. Liv says that neither of her opponents are taking her seriously, they still think she's that same girl she was in the Riott Squad, because Becky and Shayna are in for a rude awakening come Survivor Series, because Shayna getting laid out in the dreaded NXT parking lot and Becky's failed attempt at reclaiming past glory is just a taste of what they're in store for at Survivor Series. Liv manages to score the huge upset, scoring the winning pin on Becky Lynch after an Ob-Liv-Ion to claim the victory for Smackdown.)

Card
Pre Show
WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross (C) vs The Kabuki Warriors
(Asuka and Kairi defeat The IIconics to get this match. In the match, The Kabuki's turn heel when Asuka spits mist into Nikki's eyes whilst the ref is distracted, getting the pin and winning the tag titles.)
Rusev w/Lana vs Bobby Lashley
(Instead of some cuckhold angle, this feud begins after Survivor Series where Rusev turns face and saves Humberto Carillo from a beatdown from Lashley. Rusev says that if Bobby thinks he's a bully, why doesn't he try to pick on someone his own size. Lashley says that he'll send Rusev on a permenant vacation.)
Main Card
WWE United States Championship
Aleister Black (C) vs Buddy Murphy
(Murphy begins an impressive win streak following his move to Raw, leading to him winning a gauntlet match over Erick Rowan, Humberto Carillo, Matt Hardy, and R-Truth to become #1 contender to Black's US title. Murphy says that Black has never seen anything like him, and will be bested by The Best Kept Secret. Black says that the only reason Murphy even made it to the main roster is because he was on the verge of being cut from NXT, until he decided to lose weight and get given a chance on 205 live. Following the match, Murphy turns heel and attacks Aleister Black. They have a rematch on the 12/30/19 episode of Raw, which Black wins, and then leads to Murphy becoming one of Seth Rollins' disciples.)
Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Viking Raiders (C) vs The Revival
(The Revival beat Heavy Machinery to become #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. Dash & Dawson say that Erik & Ivar may have travelled the world and dominated promotions like New Japan and Ring of Honor, but they weren't facing the best, the elite competition that they're now being provided with. The Viking Raiders say that they've dominated everyone they've stood in the ring with, and The Revival won't be any different.)
Chairs Match
Bayley vs Sarah Logan
(Following Survivor Series, Bayley begins feuding with former Riott Squad member Sarah Logan. Sarah tells Bayley that this phase she's going through, it's not her, this isn't the Bayley fans love, this is just some torchered soul who's only purpose is to exist. Bayley snaps apon hearing this, attacking Sarah until referee's have to pull her off. As for this match, once both women are down, Sasha Banks comes down, grabs a chair, and waits for both women to get back to their feet. It looks like she's gonna hit her former best friend Bayley, but she doesn't, instead, she nails Sarah with the chair, turning heel, helping Bayley win, and reuniting with Bayley.)
WWE Intercontinental Championship
EC3 (C) vs Elias
(Elias wins a #1 contenders battle royal to become #1 contender to EC3's Intercontinental Championship. Elias says that he has been on the main roster for 2 years and he hasn't won 1 title, but that changes at TLC, and not only that, he deserves to be the one to represent that Intercontinental Championship every time he's in the ring, not some self-centered jacka$$ who thinks he's the Rock. EC3 says that Elias not winning any championships is his own fault, he's just not cut from the cloth that breeds champions, and yes, he admits he has a big mouth and talks a lot, but he backs it up every single time he steps in the ring.)
Smackdown Women's Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs Lacey Evans
(Following her being the hero for Smackdown and winning Survivor Series for them, Liv Morgan begins feuding with Lacey Evans. Lacey says that she is happy that Smackdown won at Survivor Series, but she's disgusted that this brand had to depend on this Nasty to win for them and not a Lady like herself. Liv says it's funny Lacey wants to talk about winning when she did nothing to contribute to the Women's Smackdown team's win, because she was the first one eliminated from the match, and not only that, Lacey needs to stop dressing like it's the 1960s and actually start winning championships, something she's never done, and will never do. Following the match, Ruby Riott makes her shocking return from injury, attacking Liv Morgan and hitting her with a Riott Kick into a chair that's wrapped around Liv's head. Ruby then hoists up Liv's Smackdown Women's Championship and tells her "You love this title, more than you ever loved me".)
Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens
(On the Raw after Survivor Series, Seth reprimands the Raw roster for not winning at Surviovr Series, and how he and The Street Profits were the only one who won their matches. KO interupts this and gives Rollins a stunner. KO says that Rollins is out of his mind if he thinks he's some priest who's doing things for "the greater good". Rollins says he will ensure that Kevin Owens see's the light and embraces the vision. Rollins wins thanks to interference from Raw Tag Team Champions The Authors of Pain, who beat down Kevin 3 on 1 post-match, until Samoa Joe jumps off commentary and makes the save.)
Ladder Match for the WWE Championship
Andrade "Cien" Almas (C) w/Zelina Vega vs Rey Mysterio
(Following Survivor Series, Rey Mysterio goes to Mickie James and demands one more match against Andrade "Cien" Almas for the WWE Championship. Stephanie agrees to give Rey one more match, but says it will be a Ladder Match. Zelina Vega says she knows that Rey is a frail old man who Andrade will easily dismiss. Rey says he’s sick and tired of entitled brats like Andrade and Zelina thinking they’re the future of the WWE, and he will put El Idolo in his place once and for all.)
Tables Match
Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman
(Following Survivor Series, Bray Wyatt appears in a firefly funhouse segment, where there a now 3 jagged lines in the wall, one to represent Orton, the other to represent someone else, someone who was cast out before they got their punishment, someone "who went to play the harp, in another place" (a reference to Luke Harper leaving for AEW and becoming Mr. Brodie Lee). Bray also introduces a black sheep to the funhouse, but the face keeps on falling off and Bray has to stable it back on "he wants to be free, he wants to forget what he is, but you've got to be true to yourself boys and girls". Bray challenges Braun to this match so he can get payback for Braun turning his back on his home, tunring his back on Bray, turning his back on his family. Braun says that Bray can get these hands. In the match, Randy Orton (who falls into a trance whenever Bray needs him to) comes down and helps Bray win, putting Strowman through the table and adding a 4th line to the funhouse wall.)
Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Charlotte Flair
(Charlotte beats Dana Brooke and Natalya in a triple threat match to get this match against Becky. Becky says that Charlotte really just followed her over to Raw to ride The Man's coatails after being the second biggest star in the women's division on Smackdown behind Liv Morgan. Charlotte says she's happy Becky got to live this dream she has as a megastar, because it ends at TLC.)
6-Man TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) w/Paul Heyman vs King Corbin vs Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan vs The Miz vs Ricochet
(Following Smackdown's win at Survivor Series, everyone on the men's smackdown team (accept Braun cause he's feuding with Bray) and Corbin are granted a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship by Smackdown GM Paige. All 5 competitors want the title, but Heyman says Nakamura will defeat all 5 of them to prove he is a god-tier champion. Daniel Bryan debuts a new look before this match, now clean-shaven and with short hair. It looks like Bryan's about to win, until a pi$$ed off Braun Strowman walks down and yeets Bryan off the ladder, turning Braun heel. Nakamura then climbs the ladder, unhooks his title, and retains.)
