NXT Takeover: Toronto III
Date: October 4th, 2020
Location: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Card
NXT North American Championship
Damian Priest (C) vs Johnny Gargano
(Following his successful North American title defense at Takeover: Boston, Priest enters the crosshairs of one Johnny Gargano. Johnny says that he is the Heart of NXT, and if he doesn't have a title, that heart won't get to see it's final beat, so he has to humble Damian Priest and become North American Champion. Priest says that all Johnny does these days is complain when things don't end up going his way.)
Tommaso Ciampa vs KUSHIDA
(Ciampa attacks KUSHIDA following Takeover: Boston, (briefly) turning heel. Ciampa says that NXT is his show, and he won't let some New Japan refugee steal his thunder. KUSHIDA says that NXT is entering a new era, and Ciampa is clinging on to whatever stardom he has left, before it fades away after he tapes out to the HoverBoard Lock. KUSHIDA manages to prove to be a man of his word, as he makes Ciampa tap out to the Hoverboard Lock to the shock of the Canadian crowd.)
NXT Interim Cruiserweight Championship
Santos Escobar (C) w/Legado Del Fantasma vs Swerve Strickland
(Due to Jordan Devlin refusing to defend the Cruiserweight title on NXT because he "isn't getting paid what he's worth", NXT GM William Regal sets up a round robin tournament to crown an interim champion until he works things out with Devlin. El Hijo Del Fantasma wins the interim title over Drake Maverick in the finals of a round robin tournament. The Following week, Fantasma turns heel, unmasks to reveal himself to be Santos Escobar, and forms Legado Del Fantasma with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde. In September, Swerve Strickland scores back-to-back victories over Mendoza and Wilde, and beats them in a handicap match to get a crack at the interim champion.)
NXT Women's Championship
Io Shirai (C) vs Candice Lerae
(Lerae wins a #1 contenders battle royal to become #1 contender to Shirai's championship. Io says she's never liked Candice, and never will, so she will take great pleasure in getting to humiliate her at Takeover 31. Candice says that Io's afraid of her, she didn't even bother to congratulate her on her victory, and at Takeover 31, her fear will be put on full display for the world to see.)
NXT Championship
Finn Balor (C) vs Kyle O'Reilly
(Balor defeats Adam Cole to win the vacant NXT Title. O'Reilly wins a gauntlet match over Austin Theory, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, and Timothy Thatcher to become #1 contender to Balor's NXT Championship. Balor says that Kyle is a great competitor, but will forever be in Adam Cole's shadow, and should've stuck to tag team wrestling. Kyle says that people might be writing him off because he's in Adam's shadow, but he is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world, and Finn Balor has no idea how damn good he really is when he becomes NXT Champion in his home country of Canada. This is the same match as in real life, with Balor breaking his jaw in the match.)

NXT UK Takeover: Glasgow
Date: October 24th, 2020
Location: SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland
Card
NXT UK Tag Team Championships
Moustache Mountain (C) vs Pretty Deadly
(Following their tag title win over Imperium back in April in Ireland, Moustache Mountain declare that now that they have finally gotten a hold of the NX UK Tag Team Championships, the tag division needs to step up their game. After feuding with Gallus throughout the Summer, Moustache Mountain enter into a feud with Pretty Deadly, who debuted earlier in the year and have gone on a solid win streak. The duo of Elton Prince & Kit Wilson (yes they have their NXT 2.0 names from the get-go because I don't mind them tbh) defeat Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster and The Hunt to become #1 contenders to the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Prince & Wilson say that Tyler Bate and Trent Seven of overlooking them, and that it’s just a matter of time before the most handsome team in NXT UK add tag team gold to their resume, yes boy. Pretty Deadly manage to pull off a huge upset, as a blind tag allows them hit Spilled Milk on Seven to become the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.)
Nathan Frazer vs Noam Dar
(In early September, vignettes begin airing for the arrival of Nathan Frazer (he signs with WWE a few months earlier than he did IRL), with it being announced that Frazer will make his NXT UK debut at Takeover: Glasgow. Noam Dar goes to Johnny Saint and requests to be Frazer's first opponent, saying he wants to derail the career of this overhyped prospect within a blink of an eye, and he wants it in his home country of Scotland.)
Tournament Finals British Rounds Rules Match to crown the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion
Jordan Devlin vs A-Kid (1-2)
(In September 2020, NXT UK GM Johnny Saint announces there will be a new championship introduced to NXT UK, The NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship, with its own unique match type called 'British Rounds Rules', where the match is contested of 6 3-minute rounds with 20 second breaks in between rounds, while also being a 2 out of 3 Falls Match . An 8-Man Tournament is set up to crown the inaugural champion. Devlin defeats Olivier Carter and Dave Mastiff to progress to the finals, whilst A-Kid makes it past Flash Morgan Webster and Noam Dar to progress to the finals. Devlin says that he's already in possession of 1 championship, and he's gonna make it 2 at Takeover: Glasgow, because you never bet against an ace. A-Kid says that ever since he arrived in NXT UK last year, he's been doing everything he can to get a chance at gold, and now, he finally has it.)
Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT UK Women's Championship
Kay Lee Ray (C) vs Piper Niven vs Jinny w/Joseph Conners vs Isla Dawn
(Despite coming up short back at Takeover: Dublin, Piper Niven wants 1 more shot at KLR's NXT UK Women's Championship, saying that she may have come up short against Kay Lee twice, but she knows the 3rd time's the charm. Jinny also begins staking her claim for an NXT Women's Title shot, saying that it’s an insult that a red-haired troll like Kay Lee Ray has been allowed to tarnish the NXT UK Women's Championship for well over a year, that needs to change. Isla Dawn also begins going after KLR's NXT UK Women's Championship, saying that she's been on this roster since the very beginning and she has constantly been passed up for title opportunities, she's had enough, and she's gonna take what she's been dying to get her hands on, the NXT UK Women's Championship. The 3 women are put in a Triple Threat #1 contenders match that ends in a nonfinish thanks to KLR attacking all 3 women, which leads to Johnny Saint making this match for Takeover: Glasgow between the 4. The Psychotic Queen of Scotts says that Takeover: Glasgow is her homecoming, and NXT UK's forever champion will show her nation why she has been the most dominant Women's Champion in WWE history.)
NXT UK Championship
GUNTHER (C) vs Ilja Dragunov (By Technical Submission)
(Dragunov wins a #1 contenders battle royal to secure his NXT UK title shot against Der Ring General. GUNTHER says that both he and Ilja grew up in the same system, they share history together, and he respects Ilja a lot, he's an honest, hard-working man with principles, who shares a passion for this great sport with him, but to be honest, everyone else that you put in front of Der Ring General is a great competitor, Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, Dave Mastiff, Joe Coffey, and Finn Balor, but when he and Ilja meet at Takeover: Glasgow on that sacred mat, it will be the greatest fight of Ilja's life, because he made Ilja, and he's gonna destroy Ilja, because one thing will never change, and that is Der Ring General as NXT UK Champion and being the one who got chosen to protect and restore honor to this great sport. Dragunov says that out of 20 people who could've been challenging GUNTHER in this main event spot, he was the one who earned the right to challenge GUNTHER, because when he won that battle royal, he created an opportunity that he has been waiting years for, and just like the respect GUNTHER has for him, he has that same respect for him, but GUNTHER has never faced someone with his pure will, and that pure will is what's gonna earn him the NXT UK Championship in Glasgow. This is the exact same 5 star match that aired on the 10/29/2020 episode of NXT UK, only now it's in front of an actual crowd. GUNTHER wins after making Dragunov pass out to retain his NXT UK Championship, with both men receiving a standing ovation from the Scottish crowd after the match.)

WALTER/Dragunov in that empty arena match IRL still makes me wince. You could feel and hear every single blow and strike from both men.

WALTER/Dragunov in that empty arena match IRL still makes me wince. You could feel and hear every single blow and strike from both men. Yeah. It had me on the edge of my seat. Even with a crowd, I'd say it'd still be a great match like WALTER vs Sheamus at CATC was. On top of WALTER Dragunov 1, A-Kid and Pretty Deadly get their title wins in front of a crowd, Isla Dawn (a personal favourite of mine) gets some time to shine, and Nathan Frazer gets a debut at a Takeover.

Hell in a Cell 2020
Date: October 25th, 2020
Location: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, Georgia
Card
Pre Show
Tucker vs Otis w/Mandy Rose
(Heavy Machinery implode! Following his shocking betrayal at Clash of Champions, Otis says that he was sick and tired of sharing the spotlight with Tucker, who did nothing but hold him back, even when they were a tag team in NXT, so when he finally hooked up with the goddess of SmackDown, Mandy Rose, he decided that Tucker was replacable. Tucker says that he always thought of Otis as a brother, but he allowed his head to be turned by that blonde witch, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get his old buddy back. Otis comes out with a new, clean-shaven look with shorter hair. Otis wins clean with a Running Splash.)
Main Card
Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre (C) vs Randy Orton
(Drew and Randy continue to one up each other in the finisher department with the constant sneak attacks they use on each other with their finishers. Drew says that this needs to end once and for all, and he will finally defang the viper... inside Hell in a Cell! Orton says he’s walked through hell many times and has scars on his soul that don’t heal, and Drew won’t be walking after he’s done with him.)
Jeff Hardy vs EC3
(EC3 and Jeff Hardy begin feuding with each other following Payback. EC3 says that it's been a rocky year for him, and he's sick that these old geysers like Jeff Hardy are getting bigger opportunities over him where if he could get them, he could turn his year around. Jeff says that EC3 has become soft ever since he lost the IC title. Towards the end of the match, as Jeff is about to hit the Swanton, a tall african-american man comes down, which distracts Hardy and allows EC3 to hit the one percent for the win. The following night on Raw, EC3 introduces everyone to Omos, his new bodyguard, and together, they will dominate Raw.)
Singles Match - Zelina Vega is guest referee
Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Angel Garza
(Zelina's two clients have imploded, and they agree to a match to settle their differences. Zelina agrees to be the guest referee for the match since she's in the middle of all this. Towards the end of the match, as Andrade is about to hit the Hammerlock DDT on Garza, only for Zelina to low blow Andrade, ending their 3-year partnership. Garza then hits the Wing Clipper on Andrade for the win. This is Andrade’s last match in WWE and he is written off TV until he departs to AEW in March 2021)
Buddy Murphy vs Seth Rollins
(Rollins turns on his disciple following their loss to the Mysterio's at COC. Rollins blames every single one of his shortcomings on Murphy for being weak, and not doing a good enough job to help him. Murphy says he did everything Rollins told him to do, Rollins just didn't lead by example.)
Smackdown Tag Team Championships
Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali (C) vs The Dirty Dawgs
(After their feud with Shinsuke Nakamura didn't go their way, Ziggler & Roode turn their attention back to the Smackdown Tag Titles. They become #1 contenders after defeating the team of Dio Maddin & Shane Thorne (not Mace and Slapjack) in a #1 contenders match. Ziggler & Roode say that for almost a year, they've been waiting for their chance to get their hands on tag team gold, now, they finally have that chance, and at Hell in a Cell, Gable will be sent back to the unemployment line, and Ali will follow suit. Ali & Gable say that these 2 old geysers are delusional and past their prime, the Smackdown Tag Titles are staying where they belong.)
Hell in a Cell Match for the Smackdown Women's Championship - Money in the Bank Cash-in
Bayley (C) vs Sasha Banks (MITB Holder)
(Following her return at COC, Sasha announces that she's cashing in her Money in the Bank Briefcase on Bayley at Hell in a Cell, inside the same demonic structure they did the war in the previous year. Sasha says that she thought she could forgive Bayley after everything, she wanted to make Bayley feel special, but after finding out she still doesn't care about her, she has to erase her from history once and for all. Bayley says that she knew Sasha could help her get what she wanted, so she had to act like she forgave Sasha and use her to get what she wanted, and remind her that she's still worthless trash once she was done with her. Same match as IRL, with Sasha making Bayley tap out to the Banks Statement.)
WWE United States Championship
Bobby Lashley (C) w/The Hurt Business vs Dominik Dijakovic (By Technical Submission)
(Dijakovic gets called up in early August as himself, and not as T-BAR. Dom eventually wins a Fatal 4-Way #1 contenders match over Keith Lee, Elias, and The Miz to get this opportunity. Dijakovic says that Lashley may be considered The Allmighty, but he's about to feast his eyes on the new United States Champion. MVP says that Dijakovic is just some beta soy boy who will become The Almighty's latest prey.)
Keith Lee vs Braun Strowman
(Braun Strowman’s move back to Raw catches the eye of Keith Lee, who challenges The Monster Among Men to this match. Lee scores another huge win after getting out of a Running Powerslam and hitting Strowman with a Big Bang Catastrophe.))
Hell in a Cell I Quit Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - if Jey Uso loses, he has to fall in line, or else he's exiled from The Anoa'i Family and WWE
Roman Reigns (C) w/Paul Heyman vs Jey Uso
(Roman continues to torment his cousin following the bludgeoning Jey took at COC, with Roman saying this won't end until Jey acknowledges him as The Tribal Chief, because Jimmy acknowledged him, but he didn't. Jey challenges Roman to another match at Hell in a Cell, saying that he will finally make Roman quit holding him back, once and for all. Roman gets Paul to convince Adam Pearce to make the match a Hell in a Cell I Quit Match, so he can hear Jey say those 2 words, and if Jey wins, he will become The Head of the Table, but if he loses, he has to fall in line, or else. This is the same match as in real life, with Jey saying he quits after Roman puts Jimmy Uso in a Guillotine.)
TV Title Changes
10/27/2020 - Johnny Gargano defeats Damian Priest in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to win the NXT North American Championship
11/03/2020 - Leon Ruff defeats Johnny Gargano to win the NXT North American Championship

Main Card
Women's Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, Nikki Cross, and Lacey Evans) vs Team Smackdown (Bayley, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Bianca Belair, and Zelina Vega) w/Angel Garza
(Not much story, Zelina doesn't get fired over that twitch bollocks, however, she is the first one eliminated after Angel Garza gets distracted trying to flirt with Lacey Evans, which gets Zelina Vega distracted and allows Mia Yim to hit Protect Ya Neck on Zelina for a quick elimination. Bayley eventually brings it down to 4-3 for Smackdown with back to back eliminations over Mia Yim & Lacey Evans, before she passes out to The Asuka Lock from Asuka, which Alexa Bliss follows up with by eliminating Ruby Riott. This brings it down to Liv Morgan & Bianca Belair for Smackdown, and Alexa Bliss, Askua, & Nikki Cross for Raw in a clash of the present vs the future. The 2 future faces of the women's division may be down in numbers, but they aren't out, as Liv eliminates Nikki after countering a Neckbreaker into a Backslide, and Bianca eliminates Asuka after ducking a roundhouse and countering it into a K.o.D, bringing team raw down to just Alexa. The numbers game catches up to The Fallen Goddess, as Bianca hits a K.o.D on Alexa, which Liv follows up with an Ob-Liv-ion with Liv getting the win for the blue brand with Ob-Liv-Ion on Alexa.)
Mia Yim eliminates Zelina Vega by pinfall Bayley eliminates Mia Yim by pinfall Bayley eliminates Lacey Evans by pinfall Asuka eliminates Bayley by technical submission Alexa Bliss eliminates Ruby Riott by pinfall Liv Morgan eliminates Nikki Cross by pinfall Bianca Belair eliminates Asuka by pinfall Liv Morgan eliminates Alexa Bliss by pinfall
(Sole Survivors: Morgan and Belair)
Champions vs Champions Match
The Hurt Business (Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) (Raw Tag Team) w/MVP vs Chad Gable & Mustafa Ali (Smackdown Tag Team)
(Both brands tag team champions collide. MVP says that The Hurt Business has been unstoppable this year, and they will mop the floor with those two Anonymous rejects in Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali. Gable and Ali say talk is cheap, and so are The Hurt Business.)
Champion vs Champion Match
Bobby Lashley (United States) w/The Hurt Business vs Sami Zayn (Intercontinental)
(Both brands mid-card champions clash. MVP says that Bobby Lashley is what a real champion looks like, unlike Sami Zayn, whose only talent is dressing like Che Guevara and thinking there’s a conspiracy against him. Zayn says that some wannabe Nightclub Bouncer doesn't intimidate him, he'll easily dispatch of Bobby Lashley in dominant fashion like he has everyone he's shared the ring with as Intercontinental Champion. Near the end of the match, Zayn tries to deliberately get counted out, but MVP throws him back in the ring and Lashley applies The Hurt Lock, forcing Zayn to submit and allowing The Almighty to win.)
Champion vs Champion Match
Shayna Baszler (Raw Women's) vs Sasha Banks (Smackdown Women's) (By Technical Submission)
(There is somewhat of a build to this. Sasha says if it weren’t for the four horsewomen of NXT paving the way and raising the bar night in and night out, Shayna would still be failing in the UFC by going 0-2 and getting cut, and living in Ronda Rousey’s shadow. Shayna says she’s surpassed The Boss and her pathetic little fake horsewomen friends down in NXT, and she’ll take great pleasure in breaking her. Towards the end of the match, after a ref bump, Carmella (who now has a new gimmick) runs down and attacks Sasha, costing her the match. Baszler then applies the Kirifuda Clutch and Banks passes out.)
5 on 5 Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (EC3, AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Braun Strowman, and Matt Riddle) w/Omos vs Team Smackdown (Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Ricochet, and Cesaro)
(There is a bit of a build to this. When the match starts, Seth Rollins hops off the apron and grabs a microphone. Rollins says that since Team Smackdown won't acknowledge him as their leader and are all against him, he won't be participating in this match, and since Team Smackdown won't listen to him, Smackdown doesn't deserve him, so he's taking a vacation until Smackdown is willing to listen to its Saviour. This is done to write Seth Rollins off TV for paternity leave. Without Rollins' leadership, Team Smackdown falls apart, as Raw performs a clean sweep, capped off with Keith Lee hitting a Spirit Bomb on Jey Uso for the win.)
Seth Rollins is eliminated by count out EC3 eliminates Kevin Owens by pinfall Matt Riddle eliminates Ricochet by pinfall Braun Strowman eliminates Cesaro by pinfall Keith Lee eliminates Jey Uso by pinfall
(Sole Survivors: EC3, Styles, Lee, Strowman, and Riddle)
Champion vs Champion Match
Drew McIntyre (WWE) w/Sheamus vs Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight) w/Paul Heyman and Jey Uso (By Technical Submission)
(There is a build to this match. During the leadup, Sheamus turns face and befriends Drew McIntyre, reminding them of their friendship and how they broke into the business together, offering him to have his back at Survivor Series. Drew shows up on Smackdown and beats Jey Uso in a match, which causes Roman to show up on Raw and beat Sheamus in a match. Drew says that he advises Roman underestimates him, because look what happened to the last Paul Heyman guy who did that. Roman says that it's embarrassing that Drew is advising him, only his special council advises him, and that he isn't the man, but he will be one day when he looks in the mirror, one day he's gonna see the man he's always wanted to be, one day he will think about these moments, and he's gonna love Roman for them, for those lessons he's thought Drew, and he's gonna love Drew right back, because Drew will always be his favorite #2. Drew debuts his new sword entrance here. Towards the end of the match, Jey Uso tries to interfere, but Sheamus fights him off, taking him out with a Brogue Kick, which distracts Drew and allows Roman to sinch in the Guillotine, causing Drew to pass out.)
Firefly Buried Alive Match
The Undertaker vs "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt
(Following Summerslam, Bray Wyatt (who's now imprisoned in the funhouse) talks about how he took the king's crown at Summerslam, but that was never the crown he wanted, as there was a crown promised to him 5 years ago, at Wrestlemania 31, a crown that was promised to him to inherit, but he was denied, but this time, The Fiend will collect it. In the leadup to Survivor Series, Undertaker appears on Raw, and is attacked by The Fiend, but after The Fiend disappears, The Undertaker does his signature sit up, and challenges The Fiend to a Firefly Boneyard match at Survivor Series. The match starts off in the ring, but The Fiend uses his magic to transport the match over to The Firefly Funhouse, where in The Funhouse, Bray uses various incarnations of Taker's past, from American Badass Undertaker, to Ministry of Darkness Undertaker, all the way to the debuting Undertaker to take out The Deadman, but Taker' overcomes it, and transports the action out of The Funhouse and back to the arena. Kane shows up eventually to try and even the odds for his brother, but it's just not enough as The Fiend takes out Kane with the Mandible Claw. Eventually, Undertaker is about to Chokeslam The Fiend into a grave, but The Fiend uses the Mandible Claw to bring Taker into the grave with him, making him pass out to the Mandible Claw. The Fiend then buries The Undertaker for good, 8 down, 2 to go.)
Final Score for Survivor Series
Raw 4, Smackdown 3
