Santos Escobar: The Emperor of Lucha Libre, Escobar has been a fixture of the midcard ever since his debut alongside the rest of Legado Del Fantasma, this is his big break to finally prove he's a main event player LA Knight: Let me talk to ya! The Million Dollar Megastar, The Namer of Dummies, LA Knight has been called a lot of things through out his years as a wrestler, NXT Champion is not 1 of them, can he fix that? We'll find out, YEAH! KUSHIDA: The Cruiserweight Champion, can The Time Splitter pull off his mission to become a double champion? Timothy Thatcher: The California Bad Boy, Thatcher has yet to win any gold NXT, can that change in this tournament? Also, I've got to get some use out of him before he departs for Pro Wrestling NOAH (go watch him in NOAH btw, he's putting on bangers over there) Cameron Grimes: The former Million Dollar Champion! After the Million Dollar Championship was deactivated, Grimes looks to once again win more gold, this time, the NXT Championship Dexter Lumis: And finally, we have the former North American Champion to round out A Block. This Tony Soprano-like mobster claims to be the leader of The D'Angelo Family, a totally 100% legit Waste Management business. Can The Don of NXT rise to the occasion and claim NXT gold? Grayson Waller: Arguably the most well-known newcomer, this former Australian Survivor pre-merge boot is looking to show why he's the #1 guy in not just this bracket, but the whole tournament when he wins the NXT title, and that, is The Grayson Waller Effect Solo Sikoa: The Roughest of The Bunch, The Street Champion, this member of the legendary Anoa'i family has been called a lot of things, now, the son of Rikishi and brother of The Usos has a big chance to add his name to a list of legendary names in his family Joe Gacy: This indy veteran has been waiting years to get a shot in WWE, and now he has his chance, but Gacy isn't any ordinary competitor, he claims to be a man of inclusivity, but has a much more darker side, will it claim him the NXT Championship? A-Kid: Yup, I'm including NXT UK guys as apart of the new wave of talent. A-Kid is no stranger to winning gold, can the inaugural NXT UK Heritage Cup Champion become NXT Champion as well? Nathan Frazer: Another NXT UK guy, Nathan Frazer has left his mark on NXT UK ever since his debut at Takeover: Glasgow 1 year ago, does the protege of Seth Rollins have what it takes to become a champion? Andre Chase: CHASE U! University teacher by day, Pro Wrestler by night, can Andre Chase set an example for Chase U by becoming NXT Champion? Duke Hudson: And finally, we have Duke Hudson. Standing it at 6'5, Hudson has got a lot of swagger. Can Hudson become the first Aussie to become NXT Champion? CardLadder Match for the NXT Cruiserweight ChampionshipKUSHIDA (C) vs Roderick Strong w/Diamond Mine(Following the dissolution of The Undisputed Era, Roderick Strong appears to quit NXT in April, only to return in mid June and attack KUSHIDA on an episode of NXT, forming The Diamond Mine with Malcom Bivens, Hachiman, and upcoming tag team, The Creed Brothers. After sending Bobby Fish packing from NXT, Strong embarks on a small win streak, which ends in the final few matches of the NXT title tournament after a loss to Cameron Grimes after a distraction by KUSHIDA, who Roddy also beat in the tournament. Roddy wins the Cruiserweight title here instead of on the relaunch. He also wins thanks to help from the debuting Ivy Nile) Cora Jade vs Gigi Dolin(the former Priscilla Kelly debuts in the summer of 2021, under the new name of Gigi Dolin, and isn't thrown in a random stable. She squares off with fellow newcomer to the women's division, Cora Jade. The 2 get a decent amount of length, but thanks to a ref distraction, Piper Niven makes her NXT debut and attacks Jade, helping Gigi get the win after she plants Cora with a Gigi Driver, with Piper becoming Gigi's bodyguard.) NXT North American ChampionshipSwerve Strickland (C) w/Hit Row vs Carmelo Hayes(Following a fairly impressive run in the tournament to crown a new NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes earns himself a crack at North American Champion Swerve Strickland, who is pending a call up to Smackdown (by himself, Hit Row is given more time in NXT to develop). Melo says that he might have finished as the runner up in B Block in the tourney, but when it's crunch time, he don't miss, and he'll show that at Halloween Havoc when he claims the North American Championship, because that's all it is, and that's all it's ever gone be. Swerve responds to Melo, saying out of all the new punching bags introduced, Melo seem's to be the most arrogant, he seems like a cheap knockoff of a certain North American Champion, and at Halloween Havoc, The Masterpiece runs right through the cheap copy. Melo wins following interference from the debuting Trick Williams which allows him to hit Nothin' but Net on Swerve for the win, sending Swerve to Smackdown). Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women's Championship
Dakota Kai (C) vs Ember Moon vs Raquel Rodriguez (Following Dakota unseating her former best friend at NXT Takeover Sin City, Raquel continues to chase Dakota Kai for the NXT Women's Championship to try and become a 2-time champion, with Ember Moon getting added to the match following Ember pinning Dakota thanks to a distractions from Raquel. Dakota scores the win with The GTK on Ember, with this being Ember's final match before being released and becoming Athena in AEW.) Lumberjack Match for the NXT Tag Team ChampionshipsMSK (C) vs Imperium(In the summer of 2021 while NXT is still Black and Gold, GUNTHER expresses his dissatisfaction with Ludwig Kaiser & Giovani Vinci, that everything has gone downhill for them ever since the lost the NXT Tag Team Titles, and that reflects on him, he doesn't want to be reduced to his subordinates' level, so he wants them to come back up to his level and regain the tag team titles, or else. Vinci & Kaiser then go in a win streak, running through Breezango (before they're released), GYV, and even some new teams introduced during the new era of NXT such as Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, before the find themselves back in a title match against MSK. The match is a lumberjack match cause Halloween Havoc spin the wheel bollocks. Same match as IRL, as Vinci & Kaier becomes 2 time NXT Tag Team Champions after a European Bomb on Wes Lee) Tournament Finals for the vacant NXT Championship
Tommaso Ciampa vs Bron Breakker (We make it to the finals of the round robbin tournament to crown a new NXT Champion. Tommaso Ciampa, fueled on his quest to regain Goldie finishes at the top of his block, defeating Santos Escobar in the finals while only suffering losses to Roderick Strong and LA Knight. Bron breaker on the other hand, runs right through B Block, defeating Carmelo Hayes in the B Block finals whilst going undefeated. Bron says that NXT deserves a new up-and-comer as champion to go along with the new logo, no disrespect to Tommaso, but he's not the same guy anymore because of that neck of sand, he's slower, older. and he's gonna run circles around Tomato Chompers to and become NXT Champion to set an example for the new crop. Ciampa says that Bron is an ambitious man, he went on a warpath in this tourney, unpinned, unsubmitted, he's on a bullet train to the top, but he's the last thing standing in the way between him and Goldie, and just like Bron's uncle once said, there's a 141 and 2/3's chance The Black Heart becomes a 2-time NXT Champion. Same match as IRL, Ciampa wins after countering a German Suplex from Breakker on the bare concrete floor into a DDT, followed up with a running knee and 2 Fairytail Endings, finally reclaiming Goldie after 956 days. Following the match, Ciampa shakes Bron's hand as a sign of respect.)

Card
Women's Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, and Nikki Cross) vs Team Smackdown (Liv Morgan, Sasha Banks, Sarah Logan, Toni Storm, and Shotzi Blackheart)
(There are 2 major stories headed into this match, and that is tension between 2 teamates on each side, for Smackdown, it's Liv Morgan and Sasha Banks, and for Raw, it's Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. Both Liv and Sasha compete in a Triple Threat Qualifying Match against Natalya to determine the captain for team smackdown, with it ending with them both pinning Natalya at the same time. Following this, Adam Pearce names both women co-captains for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series, which doesn't sit well with both women, as they don't trust each other with their decision-making. Meanwhile, over on Raw, Bianca Belair wins a Triple Threat match over Charlotte Flair and Tegan Nox to become the team captain for Raw, pinning Charlotte to qualify. This angers Charlottte, who bribes Raw GM Sonya Deville into adding her to Team Raw without having to qualify. Throughout the match, Liv & Sasha constantly try to upstage each other, with Bianca and Charlotte doing the same for Team Raw, this includes Bianca and Sasha having a staredown reminicint of their Wrestlemania 37 earlier in the year, only for both Charlotte and Liv to ruin it by attacking Bianca & Sasha and having a staredown of their own. Despite all of the tension, it all comes down to Liv & Sasha for Smackdown, and Bianca & Charlotte for Raw, but in the end, Liv & Sasha manage to be the ones to put their differences aside to score the victory for team Smackdown, capped off with an Ob-Liv-ion from Liv to Bianca.)
Rhea Ripley eliminates Shotzi Blackheart by pinfall Rhea Ripley eliminates Sarah Logan by pinfall Toni Storm eliminates Rhea Ripley by pinfall Bianca Belair eliminates Toni Storm by pinfall Liv Morgan eliminates Nikki Cross by pinfall Sasha Banks eliminates Shayna Baszler by pinfall Sasha Banks eliminates Charlotte Flair by submission Liv Morgan eliminates Bianca Belair by pinfall
(Sole Survivors: Morgan and Banks)
Champion vs Champion match
Damian Priest (United States) vs Shinsuke Nakamura (Intercontinental) w/Rick Boogs
(Not much story. There is no DQ finish, instead, Naka catches Priest with a surprise roll-up.)
Cross-Brand Battle Royal
Xavier Woods wins by last eliminating EC3
(Entrants include: Xavier Woods, EC3, Omos, Pete Dunne, Ridge Holland, Ricochet, Jeff Hardy, Swerve Strickland, Cesaro, John Morrison, Angel Garza, Humberto Carillo, Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Chad Gable, Otis, Drew Gulak, Erik, Ivar, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Happy Corbin, Madcap Moss, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Apollo Crews, Commander Azeez, Mansoor, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Shanky, Dio Maddin, R-Truth, Akira Tozawa, and Reggie)
Champions vs Champions Match
RK-Bro (Raw Tag Team) vs The Usos (Smackdown Tag Team)
(Not too much story for this match, but unlike most, there is a bit of a story. On the go-home episode of Raw before Survivor Series, Matt Riddle has a 1-on-1 champion vs champion match against Big E, which gets ruined by The Usos, who invade Raw to attack RK-Bro to soften them up before Survivor Series, and Big E, to weaken him for his match against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. RK-Bro then return the favor on the go-home Smackdown, attacking The Usos, with Orton giving both Usos a Double RKO from outta nowhere. The Usos say that they had to remind RK-Bro who they were dealing with, because they the two's, and we the one's. RK-Bro say that if The Usos were gonna send a message to them, they better have expected they were gonna return the favor.)
Champion vs Champion Match
Blair Davenport (Raw Women's) vs Becky Lynch (Smackdown Women's)
(Unlike most of the other matches, this match actually has build, with Davenport constantly trashing Becky Lynch in promos, with Becky doing the same, until Blair performs a sneak attack on her. Becky says Blair is just some rookie that has a chip on her shoulder because she became the first person to defect from "that other promotion" to WWE, and then she goes and betrays her only friend in Alexa Bliss, which is just the stupidest move ever, and at Survivor Series, she's gonna make Blaire regret ever stepping foot in a WWE ring. Davenport says that Becky has become delusional ever since she came back, and not only that, she better be careful with what she says, because she doesn't wanna have to sideline her indefinitely, and this time, it won't be because she gets pregnant, it's because her neck will be broken.)
Men's Survivor Series Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Finn Balor, and Kevin Owens Karrion Kross) w/MVP & Scarlett vs Team Smackdown (Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Dominik Dijakovic, Sheamus, and Sami Zayn) w/Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland
(In the weeks after Extreme Rules, vignettes begin airing for Karrion Kross, hyping his debut. Before this match, Kevin Owens is mysteriously attacked backstage by an unknown assailant, with an hourglass placed next to Owens' body. Before the match officially begins, Team Raw reveals its new 5th man, the debuting Karrion Kross (who has Scarlett with him, and does not look like a gimp with that stupid helmet and those dumb suspenders), who has a new look with grown out hair that makes him look like a Serbian mob boss. Throughout the match, the Raw men's team refuses to tag in Kross because they don't know what he's gonna do and they have no chemistry. This hurts team Raw as they all get eliminated one by one, until it's Karrion Kross vs all of team Smackdown, with Kross eliminating every member of team Smackdown by himself, capped off with a Kross Hammer to Seth Rollins for the win.)
Drew McIntyre eliminates Bobby Lashley by pinfall Sheamus eliminates Finn Balor by pinfall Dominik Dijakovic eliminates AJ Styles by pinfall Seth Rollins eliminates Keith Lee by pinfall Karrion Kross eliminates Sami Zayn by submission Karrion Kross eliminates Drew McIntyre by technical submission Karrion Kross eliminates Sheamus by pinfall Karrion Kross eliminates Dominik Dijakovic by submission Karrion Kross eliminates Seth Rollins by pinfall
(Sole Survivor: Karrion Kross)
Champion vs Champion Match - The Rock is the special guest referee
Big E (WWE) w/Xavier Woods vs Roman Reigns (World Heavyweight) w/Paul Heyman
(In the build up to this match, The Bloodline invade an episode of Raw and attack The New Day, with Roman and The Usos giving Kofi Kingston a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table, which writes Kofi off TV for a few weeks so he can go on paternity leave. Xavier Woods then tries to return the favour and invades Smackdown by himself, going as far as to challenge Roman Reigns to a match. Roman wins that match, and The Bloodline beats down Woods, and prepares to hit him with a Triple Powerbomb through the announce table, only for WWE Champion Big E to make a surprise appearance on Smackdown to take out The Usos, forcing Roman to retreat. Also in the leadup, since it's the 25th Anniversary of The Rock's debut, it's announced that The Rock will be making a special appearance as the guest referee for the main event. After the match, as Rock is about to give Roman his World Heavyweight Championship, The Rock stops, hesitates, and looks at the World Heavyweight Championship, then gives it to Roman, with Roman then hoisting the title up, teasing a potential showdown between the 2 in the future (please happen at Wrestlemania 40, please Hunter).)

NXT: Wargames V
Date: December 5th, 2021
Location: Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, Ohio
Card
Women's Wargames Match
Team Dakota (Dakota Kai, Kay Lee Ray, Gigi Dolin, Piper Niven, & Ivy Nile) vs Team Raquel (Raquel Rodriguez, Io Shirai, Sarray, Indi Hartwell, & Cora Jade)
(Following a failed attempt to reclaim the NXT Women's Championship from Dakota Kai, Raquel Rodriguez requests to Shawn Michaels that she gets one final chance to get even with Dakota Kai, inside Wargames, with HBK granting her wish. Both women recruit their teams, Dakota bringing over Kay Lee Ray (not Alba Fyre, f*ck off with that name) to NXT full time, Piper Niven (not Doudrop) who has turned heel, NXT newcomer Gigi Dolin, and Diamond Mine recruit Ivy Nile, while Raquel gets Io Shirai, Sarray, Indi Hartwell, and NXT newcomer Cora Jade to join her team to go with. Raquel finally gets her triumphant victory over Dakota, scoring the win for her team after hitting a Chigona Bomb on Kai off the top of the cage through a stack of tables. Following the match, KLR gets up in Kai's face about her "poor leadership", even slapping Kai, which causes Kai to lash out on KLR, turning Dakota face, before she gets beaten down by Dolin, Niven, and Nile, with the beatdown concluding with KLR standing tall over Dakota, hoisting up the NXT Women's Championship.)
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championships
Imperium (C) vs MSK vs Grizzled Young Veterans vs Hit Row w/B-Fab
(MSK invoke their rematch clause against Imperium, but GYV gets added to the match after they pin both teams in tag matches on NXT to get added to the match. MSK say that they and the entire NXT locker room are sick of these 2 tracksuit wearing goofies who need to be put out to pasture as they take back the NXT Tag Team Championships, and as for walmart Nappa from Dragon Ball and his mute friend, they're amount of title wins in the US is the same as their amount against MSK, so they can hop on a plane back over to the pond, cause they ain't got a shot in hell at claiming those NXT tag titles. GYV say that if anyone should hop on a plane and leave, it's those little rascals known as MSK, who only got to where they are now because they used to carry their old stablemate's bags when they were trying to make an IMPACT, and as for the other bald guy and his less than stellar tag partner, they can't even lace the boots of the GRIZZLED, YOUNG, VETERANS! Imperium respond, saying that both MSK and GYV are embarrassments to this sacred mat, and will promptly be dealt with come Wargames 5. Hit Row score a shock win over Imperium on the go-home episode of NXT, leading to Shawn Michaels adding Top Dolla and Ashante "Thee" Adonis to the match. Hit Row say that Swerve is already doing big things on Smackdown, with a win here, they'll show they can be on his level so they can reunite with him some day.)
Triple Threat Match for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship
Roderick Strong (C) w/Diamond Mine vs A-Kid vs Nathan Frazer
(Both A-Kid and Frazer each have a bone to pick with the current Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong following their impressive performances in the NXT Championship round robbin both manage to secure themselves a Cruiserweight Title Match against the leader of Diamond Mine, Roderick Strong. Roddy says this game is 90% mental and 10% physical, and his 10% is better than both A-Kid and Frazier's 100%. A-Kid says that Roddy thinks he's great just because he's the 4th most successful member of The Undisputed Era, and now that half of them don't even work here anymore, he'll show why Roddy was at the bottom of the totem pole and now dragging talented wrestlers like The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile down with him. Nathan Frazer says that Roddy has always been a stepping stone, he was a stepping stone for Bobby Roode during his NXT title run, he was a stepping stone for Keith Lee during his rise to the top of NXT, and at Wargames 5, he becomes a stepping stone for Nathan Frazer.)
Men's Wargames Match - the winning team's captain gets a future NXT Championship match, the losing team's captain must leave NXT
Team Gargano (Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Breakker, Kyle O'Reilly, and Grayson Waller) vs Team Escobar (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Carmelo Hayes, and LA Knight) w/Elektra Lopez & Trick Williams
(Following the NXT Championship tournament that saw him finish as the runner-up in his block behind Tommaso Ciampa, Santos Escobar makes it his mission to antogonise the life of Ciampa's old DIY tag partner, Johnny Gargano, who has turned face. Escobar & the rest of LDF lay out Dexter Lumis in the parking lot which writes Dexter off tv, with Escobar challenging Johnny Wrestling to a Wargames Match he will put an end till the Way if it means securing himself a shot at the NXT Championship. Gargano accepts, saying he wants to put Escobar in his place for ruining the lives of his family and friend. Escobar gets his fellow Legado stablemates on his team in addition to North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and LA Knight, while Johnny recruits his old DIY tag partner & NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, his "son" Austin Theory, Bron Breakker, and Kyle O'Reilly to be on his team. Before Johnny picks his team, Grayson Waller constantly asks Johnny to put him on his team, but Johnny always says "he'll think about it" before he picks his team, and when Grayson finds out he's not on Johnny's team, he's not that happy. On the go-home episode of NXT before Wargames V, Austin Theory is found attacked in the parking lot, with it made to look like Legado Del Fantasma were the ones behind the attack, however, they deny having any involvement in the attack, which leads to Gargano adding Waller as the 5th member of the team. To help raise the stakes for the match, NXT GM Shawn Michaels adds a stipulation to the match, the winning team's captain gets a future NXT Title Shot, while the losing team's captain must leave NXT. Early on in the show, Johnny Gargano is interviewed backstage about the possibility of this potentially being his final match in NXT, with Johnny saying that NXT has been his home for the past 6 years, but if this is the end, there's no better place than to have his final NXT match than in his hometown of Cleveland, and over the years, there's 1 regret he has, he didn't enjoy this more, he really should've, he was always so worried about was his match good enough, was his promo good enough, was he good enough, because he always wanted the fans to have the best wrestling they could be proud of, and he really hoped he gave them that, the fans have no idea what they've given him, because the first time he stepped foot in the PC 6 years ago at a WWE tryout, he was told he would never be in NXT, but because of then NXT GM William Regal, he got brought back for a dark match against Apollo Crews, and those fans chanted "Johnny Wrestling" so loud, he was brought back every single week despite not being under contract, those fans gave him all of that, the Takeover Main Events, the Video Games, the Action Figures, all of that stuff, they helped him live his dream and he can't thank them enough, because in his heart is that same shy chubby 8-year-old wrestling fan who went on to deal with self-confidence issues his entire life, he doubts himself constantly, he doubts he can win tonight, but the only place he's ever felt important, is in that NXT ring, because for years, people have constantly asked him why has he been in NXT for so long, it's because he truly loves this place so much, he believes in it, because yes, his family may be right here in Cleveland Ohio, but he has family in NXT, family that means the world to him, and that will never change, but sometimes it needs to happen, and it could happen tonight if he doesn't defeat Team Escobar, but if this is how his story ends in NXT, he has 1 final message, you will never fail, if you bet on yourself. Towards the closing moments of the match, as Gargano is about to hit the One Final Beat on Escobar and win it for his team, Waller shockingly low blows Gargano, allowing Escobar to hit The Phantom Driver on Johnny Wrestling, scoring the win for his team thanks to Waller having turned heel, which causes Gargano to be sent packing from NXT, in Johnny's hometown of Cleveland. On the NXT after Wargames, Kyle O'Reilly puts his career on the line in a match against Santos Escobar where if he wins, he gets Escobar's NXT title shot. Escobar wins, sending O'Reilly packing from NXT as well.)

Pre-Show
Cesaro, Ricochet, & Swerve Stirkclnad vs The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Pete Dunne, & Ridge Holland)
(Pete Dunne (NOT BUTCH!) & Ridge Holland make their Smackdown debuts on the 10/29/2021 episode of Smackdown, where they squash 2 enhancement talents. After their win, Dunne & Holland are confronted by Sheamus backstage, with The Celtic Warrior telling them he was really impressed with their win, so much so that he wants to take them under his wing and mold them into the next great European superstars in WWE. Dunne & Holland say they'll consider it. Cesaro then confronts them after this, and tells them to ignore what Sheamus just told him, they can be the next great European Superstars on their own, they don't need someone like Sheamus falsly guiding them. A few weeks later, there is a qualifying match for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series between Sheamus and Cesaro, former tag team partners in The Bar. In the match, there's a ref bump, and it looks Cesaro has the match won, until Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland run down and lay him out, allowing Sheamus to get the win and qualify for Team Smackdown, whilst also forming The Brawling Brutes in the process. Sheamus says that he is so glad that Dunne & Holland believed in him, they took his advice and they chose to sit under his learning tree, and because of that, they are destined for big things here in WWE. Cesaro then begins feuding with The Brawling Brutes following this, but he's outnumbered, so he recruits Ricochet and Swerve Strickland to have his back against The Brutes. Ridge Holland does not break his nose in this match and Dunne scores the win for The Brutes with a Bitter End on Cesaro. Cesaro continues feuding with The Brawling Brutes after this, with the feud ending on the 02/11/2022 episode of Smackdown in a Belfast Brawl, which Sheamus wins, in what is Cesaro's last WWE Match before his contract expires, leaving for AEW to become Claudio Castagnoli in the Blackpool Combat Club.)
Main Card
Liv Morgan vs Sasha Banks
(Following their victory as Sole Survivors at Survivor Series, Liv and Sasha begin feuding, constantly trying to upstage each other, with Sasha going as far as invading Raw to cost Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan the Women's Tag Titles in a match against Rhea Ripley & Nikki Cross on the 12/06/2021 episode of Raw. This leads to Liv and Sasha agreeing to have a match at Day 1. Sasha says Liv does have an impressive list of accomplishments, and she's not even 30 yet so she can add to that list, but she has a glass ceiling over her head, why? because she's not a horsewoman. Liv says that Sasha still thinks it's 2016, the last time she was relevant, because she just talks about horsewomen this, horsewomen that, but she doesn't need to be a horsewoman because she has something over Sasha that Sasha doesn't have over her, a win on ppv, and it's gonna remain that way at Day 1. Liv wins clean with an Ob-Liv-ion, further building her case for a future Smackdown Women's title shot after her Queen of the Ring win back in October.)
Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Usos (C) vs The Vikings Raiders
(The Viking Raiders defeat Veer & Shanky and EC3 & Omos in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. The Usos say that The Viking Raiders fell off, they went from being one of the most feared tag teams in WWE, to 2 guys who just throw axes, hold feasts, and absolutely stink. The Viking Raiders say that they've been dying to get those Smackdown Tag Team Titles back, and they'll raid and pillage The so-called "Island of Relevancy" that The Usos live on with The Tribal Chief to collect them to become 3-time Smackdown Tag Team Champions.)
Kevin Owens vs Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
(On the Raw after Survivor Series, Kevin Owens demands answers from Karrion Kross as to why he attacked him the previous night. Kross then appears on the titantron, and says that since he killed NXT Black & gold, he has no reason to go back to NXT, so he's decided to make Raw his new wasteland, and this new wasteland contains a whole bunch of men who are the equivalent of arcanas' on tarot cards, and Kevin? Kevin's the fool, he has constantly fooled many men in the past, only to stab them in the back, and his karma has been waiting to come for him, and it comes at Day 1, because karma comes in all shapes and sizes, and at Day 1, he's karma. In the leadup to Day 1, it's revealed that Kevin Owens' contract expires at the end of January, and he hasn't re-signed. Following the match, Scarlett grabs a cinderblock from under the ring, with Kross then grabbing KO and setting him up in the corner. Scarlett then holds the cinderblock in front of Owens' face, with Kross then punching the cinderblock into Owens' face, writing him off TV. This is supposedly KO's final WWE match.)
WWE United States Championship
Damian Priest (C) vs Keith Lee w/Zelina Vega, Angel Garza, & Humberto Carillo
(Shortly after Extreme Rules, Keith Lee starts to slowly turn heel, when he shows more signs of aggression during matches. After her move back to Raw with her client Angel Garza whilst also turning Humberto Carillo to the darkside and recruiting him to form the tag team "Los Lotharios" with her other client Angel Garza, Zelina Vega approaches Keith Lee backstage and tells him that luck hasn't been on his side lately, he failed to win the WWE Championship at Summerslam, failed to win the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules, wasn't even considered for the King of the Ring tournament, and got eliminated at Survivor Series, he needs to remind everyone who he is, he needs to enlist fear back into his opponents, Zelina then tells Keith to give her offer some thought and then leaves. Zelina is then on commentary for Keith Lee's matches over the next few weeks, with Lee finally turning heel and joining Vega's new stable on the Raw after Survivor Series. The following week, Keith Lee debuts new entrance music (his AEW entrance theme, cause it's a banger, and I'd even say it's better than his NXT theme), and decimates Rey Mysterio to become the #1 contender to Damian Priest's US title. Zelina says that Keith Lee has made a change for the better by agreeing to become her latest client, because now she will save his floundering career and guide him to something he has yet to win on the main roster, a championship. Priest says that Keith doesn't need to be led around like a dog on a leech by Zelina Vega, he's his own man, but if he wants to become soft, then that's his decision, because The Archer of Infamy will set his career a blaze to ensure his reign as United States Champion lives forever.)
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (C) w/Rick Boogs vs Sami Zayn
(Sami wins a gauntlet match on the Christmas Eve episode of Smackdown to earn a shot at Shinsuke Nakamura's Intercontinental Championship. Sami says that Shinsuke has been ducking him for months, he's wanted to defend the Intercontinental Championship against everyone but The Master Strategist, but now, there's nowhere to run, and there's nowhere to hide, and you know, when Shinsuke was a Paul Heyman guy, he wouldn't duck anyone, but now that he's gone from Heyman to this meathead, this shaved gorilla, he's become a coward, and he can't wait to see the look on Shinsuke's face when he humiliates him and becomes a 3-time Intercontinental Champion. Nakamura says that he admires Sami for his in-ring skills, but as for his mouth, he can go to hell.)
Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the Raw Tag Team Championships
RK-Bro (C) w/The Migos vs Alpha Academy (Otis & Drew Gulak) w/Chad Gable vs Los Lotharios w/Zelina Vega & Keith Lee
(Alpha Academy continue to feud with RK-Bro following Gulak joining The Academy back at TLC. Around this same time, the new tag team of Los Lotharios, consisting of Zelina Vega's client Angel Garza and his cousin, Zelina's new client Humberto Carillo, go on an undefeated streak, and even defeat RK-Bro in a non-title match after a distraction by Alpha Academy. Zelina says this will be a spectacular night for her and her clients when they all walk out as champions. Gable says that The Alpha Academy finally claims gold at Day 1, because they have the cerebral edge thanks to the teachings of Master Gable and his immaculate 4.0 GPA, A thank you. RK-Bro say that they can line up a whole heap of tag teams, they'll knock em all down. Atlanta based rap group The Migos (RIP Takeoff, gone way too soon) accompany RK-Bro during their entrance and join the commentary team for the match.)
Raw Women's Championship
Blair Davenport (C) vs Bianca Belair
(Bianca Belair wins a Fatal 4-Way #1 contenders match over Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler, and Mia Yim to secure a Raw Women's Championship Match against Blair Davenport. Bianca says that she's accomplished many things in 2021, winning both the women's Royal Rumble and the Smackdown Women's Championship, so it's only fitting that the best way to start off 2022 is to become Raw Women's Championship. Priestley says the only reason Bianca was able to have any of those moments is because she didn't have to cross paths with the Top Gaijin, because if she did, she wouldn't have been celebrating in the main event of Wrestlemania, she would've been confined to a hospital bed in the ER, which is exactly where she's headed after Day 1 where she can say hi to Alexa Bliss and Asuka. Charlotte Flair (who is still feuding with Bianca) interferes in the match after a ref bump, attacking The EST from behind and hitting her with a Chair, and hitting a Natural Selection on Belair. This allows The Top Gaijin to score the win after 2 Kamigoye's on Bianca)
Smackdown Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Sarah Logan w/Liv Morgan
(On the Smackdown after Survivor Series, Becky Lynch confronts The Riott Squad, mainly interested in Queen of the Ring winner Liv Morgan, wondering who she'll use her title shot for winning the tournament to go after. Liv tells Becky she knows she can defeat her, she did so in the main event of Survivor Series 2019, but she's got a lot on her plate right now with Sasha Banks, but she knows Sarah's schedule is all freed up, so she's forfeiting her Queen's Crown title shot to her tag team partner Sarah Logan so she has a chance to become Smackdown Women's Champion. Becky says it's embarrassing that Sarah is getting a title shot, she only got it because Liv threw her a bone, and the fact that it's taken her this long to get a shot at a singles Women's Championships, it's baffling, but she get's why, Sarah's a mother, which she can relate to that, she's a mom now too, but the difference between her and Sarah, she's still a vicious lioness to a soft, while Sarah is now a weak-willed failure of a woman. Sarah says Becky's ego knows no bound, she's digging her own grave deeper and deeper, and at Day 1, Becky is going to be ripped apart limb from limb, and as for her, she'll return to her family, not as a failure, but as the new Smackdown Women’s Champion.)
World Heavyweight Championship #1 contenders tournament finals
Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins
(On the Smackdown after Survivor Series, Roman Reigns comes out, and says that for the second year in a row, Smackdown got its a$$ handed to them at Survivor Series, and it once again made his match meaningless, and last year, he decided to make Smackdown suffer for it until they acknowledged him as The Tribal Chief, but this year, he ain't gonna do that, because Smackdown isn't worthy of The Tribal Chief after they lost at Survivor Series, so until Smackdown gets its sh*t together, he will be going on a well-deserved vacation. Since Smackdown is now without a World Heavyweight Champion until Roman Reigns returns, Adam Pearce sets up a #1 contenders tournament, with the finals taking place at Day 1. Drew McIntyre defeats Sami Zayn and Sheamus to advance to the finals, whilst Seth Rollins defeats Jeff Hardy (in what is Jeff's final WWE Match as he's released due to a relapse and refusing to go to rehab), and Dominik Dijakovic to advance to the finals. Seth says that he has been the heir in waiting for the World Heavyweight Championship for far too long, but at Day 1, he guarantees himself a date with destiny. Drew says that Seth is walking into Claymore Country come Day 1, and because Seth has a Claymore waiting for him, and after he's done with Seth, he's coming for Roman and that World Heavyweight Championship.)
Edge vs The Miz w/John Morrison
(Edge returns on the 11/29/2021 episode of Raw, and says that now that he's on Raw, he has a whole heap of new opponents he can sink his teeth into, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Keith Lee, Damian Priest, Big E, and it's really exciting for him, because this is what he dreamed of when he came back almost 2 years ago. Edge is cut off by John Morrison, with The Shaman of Sexy saying that is this what Edge's career has amounted to? Living for returns? He's only been gone a month this time, because if Edge gets injured, he gets a big comeback, he takes time off, he gets a big comeback, he retires, just kidding, he wants that big comeback, meanwhile, when he returned in 2020, he didn't get that triumphant return, no he didn't get the pyrotechnics display, hell, he didn't even get the people clamoring for him, but what irks him the most, is the people Edge has his eye on, his name wasn't included, so it's clear Edge has 0 interest in him, but he knows someone who Edge would be more than interested in facing. Edge is then attacked from behind by a returning Miz, who hasn't been since in 3 months due him being on Dancing with The Stars. Miz & Morrison then lay out Edge, beginning a feud between The Rated R Superstar and The Greatest Tag Team of the 21st Century. In the buildup, Edge mocks Miz for only coming in 9th, whilst Miz says that was only because the supposed most hardcore fanbase on the planet forgot to vote for him, and whilst he was off Dancing with the Stars, Edge was dancing with injuries, and when's the last time Edge held a title? Oh that's right, it was when he lost to a guy who went 0-2 in MMA while he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase in the main event of Wrestlemania 27, and don't get him wrong, Edge has had a great career, but he has surpassed Edge in every way, and at Day 1, he's gonna make Edge wish he stayed home for good. Edge says that when Miz is saying he should hang it up, when he's dancing with a body riddled with injuries, and you know what he's right, he can't do this for much longer, but he fought with every fiber of his being to get it back, and everyone in that locker room, he's the guy that they want to stand across the ring from to test themselves, because they respect him and he respects them, that's mutual respect, something Miz knows nothing about, something Miz could've had, something Miz still could have, but instead he tangos out here and b*tches and moans that he doesn't have this, he doesn't have that, little Mizzy needs a pat on the back does he? Well he'll give Miz his pat on the back, because Miz made it all the way here, from The Real World, he wrote notes on his hand and went all the way to the main event of Wrestlemania where he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become WWE Champion with John Cena in that match and The Rock as guest referee, and he beat him, and yes he got bested by some Punk that night, but back to the present, Miz has people saying his name on other shows just to get a cheap reaction, he lives rent free in a lot of heads, he built himself an empire, he got a mansion in the Hollywood hills, he has a beautiful family, he made it further and higher than anyone ever thought he would or could, except for Miz, he thought it, he believed it, he made it happen, that is The Miz he wants at Day 1, not The Miz who justs uses this as notoriety for his next endeavor, for his next reality show, his next dance competition, while he leaves his partner high and dry to struggle to make a name for himself. There is no Beth Phoenix run-in as Maryse is not with Miz for this match. Instead, botched interference by John Morrison costs Miz the match.)
WWE Championship - Kofi Kingston is the guest referee
Big E (C) vs Xavier Woods
(Shortly following Survivor Series, Xavier Woods informs Big E he will be using his King of the Ring title shot against him at Day 1, saying he loves E like a brother, but he needs to show everyone he can become WWE Champion like Kofi and E did. Big E says he's not surprised, he expected Woods to challenge him, and he's more than happy to give his fellow New Day brethren a shot at the WWE Championship. Kofi Kingston returns shortly after Survivor Series, and informs both his New Day stablemates that he's spoken to Sonya Deville, and he's gonna be the guest referee. This all New Day showdown is a back-and-forth affair, going almost 20 minutes, but ultimately, Big E dashes Woods' dreams of becoming WWE Champion with a Big Ending. All 3 New Day members embrace after the match as Day 1 goes off the air.)

British Rounds Rules Match for the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship
Noam Dar (C) w/Sha Samuels vs Oro Mensah (1-2)
(Following Dar's victory over Tyle Bate at Takeover: Belfast, Noam Dar begins arrogantly boasting about how he defeated Bate and proved that "The Big Strong Daftie" is not on The Scottish Supernova’s level for weeks, until he's confronted by Oro Mensah (formerly Oliver Carter, but he gets his NXT name earlier cause I actually think it's an upgrade). Mensah, who has been on an impressive win streak, challenges Dar to a match for the Heritage Cup, which Dar initially refuses, but is forced to accept by Johnny Saint. Dar says that he's a victim of his own success, he's being forced into Heritage Cup Championship Matches because he's just that good of a champion, he really is the best at this, but the pressure isn't on him, the pressure is on Oro, and he will choke come Takeover: Paris. Mensah says that for him, this is about winning the Heritage Cup, for Dar, it's about losing everything so quickly. Dar is cocky he'll win, he and Sha Samuels begin making bets with the NXT UK roster, telling them to bet on Oro Mensah, with the odds being "100-1", saying that for all the people who bet on Oro Mensah, that money is wasted, and it'll go towards the Supernova retirement fund.)
NXT UK Women's Championship
Meiko Satomura (C) vs Isla Dawn
(In February of 2021, after losing an NXT UK Women's Title Match against Meiko Satomura, Isla Dawn disappears for a bit. We see Isla Dawn next a month later conducting occult readings through a ouija board and tarot cards, with her returning to action in early April, now as a heel after attacking Emilia McKenzie. Over the next several months, Dawn takes items from various wrestlers in the women's division for a ritual. In December, a celebration is held for Meiko Satomura, who has been at the top of the NXT UK Women's Division for almost 1 full year, but the celebration is interrupted by Dawn, who steals the flowers Satomura was given during the celebration. Dawn says it will be spectacular, it will be beautiful, the fall of Meiko Satomura, at the hands of Isla Dawn, and the Isla she defended the belt against so long ago, is gone, Meiko doesn't have a clue what is in store for her, she has been taking collecting, scouting for every single ingredient, and the last one, is guarded by The Final Boss, and Meiko and her both know who that is, and she promises Meiko she will walk away with that title, because there will be a new dawn in the NXT UK Women's Division, and The Hex is written in The Stars. Meiko says that when she became NXT UK Women's Champion, Isla was her first competitor, but Isla is different, she's mysterious, but who does Isla think she is? She's Meiko Satomura, she can't lose, she is a champion, and what Isla did won't go unfinished. A ref bump allows Isla to spray black mist into the eyes of Satomura and hit the Call of the Quarters on Meiko for the win, ending her 363-day reign.)
GUNTHER vs Rampage Brown
(Shortly following Takeover: Belfast, it's announced that GUNTHER will be having his final NXT UK match at Takeover: Paris, with WALTER requesting that Johnny Saint finds him the best of the best for his final NXT UK Match, so they can honor this great sport. Saint selects Rampage Brown to be GUNTHER's final NXT UK opponent,GUNTHER says that ever since he arrived in NXT UK, back in January of 2019, he dominated this brand, he always preached what is important to him, Marcel, and Fabian, the mat is sacred to us, and for a historic title reign of 806 days, he brought back glory, honor, respect, and dignity, to this great sport, but now the time has come, it's his last match in NXT UK, and his final opponent, is Rampage Brown, he's heard a lot about Rampage, but to be honest, he's not impressed, because like everybody else, he's in this for himself and he takes the absolute p*ss out of this great sport, but he will learn one thing, one thing that will never change when Der Ring General steps in the ring, he will come out victorious, because for him, the mat is sacred. Rampage says that it will be his pleasure to send GUNTHER packing from NXT UK with a loss. this is the same match that aired at the NXT UK Prelude IRL.)
Ladder Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships
Pretty Deadly (C) vs Moustache Mountain
(After Pretty Deadly cost Tyler Bate the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship, a rift begins between Seven & Bate. Despite this, Bate and Seven patch things up after defeating Symbiosis to become number one contenders to Pretty Deadly's NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Pretty Deadly say that Moustache Mountain are the founding fathers of NXT UK, they put in the hard work, and the world needs hard workers, they're the stone, the cement, the foundation, but they're the beautiful building that was built on top of it, they're the Sistine Chapel, and they guess some people aren't meant to be that, some people just aren't that good enough, now Moustache Mountain, they gave them their hardest match to date when they won the titles all the way back at Takeover: Glasgow, they'll agree on that, but they've beat them twice, what's next for them when they beat them for a 3rd time? Moustache Mountain say it's really sad that Pretty Deadly have held those titles for as long as they have, because you can see that they know full well that the respect is there for them, we built this, we did build this, the smoke & mirrors, that's what it is. Trent asks Tyler what do they do if they don't win? With Tyler responding by saying no mud, no lotus, perspective, think of all that time that has passed as the hardship, and they've weathered it all together, and when they first started as Moustache Mountain, is started off as a bit of a joke name, but now they know what Moustache Mountain really means, it means the climb, the struggle, and they're almost back at the peak, and the one thing that tops it all off is reclaiming the NXT UK Tag Team Championships, but they don't want any ordinary match, they want... a Ladder Match! The match is a back-and-forth banger, with Bate & Seven finally besting Pretty Deadly, ending their 441-day reign as NXT UK Tag Team Champions.)
NXT UK Championship
Ilja Dragunov (C) vs Jordan Devlin
(After besting WALTER in an Ironman Match back at Takeover: Belfast, Dragunov moves on to his next challenger, The Irish Ace, Jordan Devlin. Devlin says that all the little people, they adroe him, they worship him, why wouldn't they? He's more than a hero, he's more than just an ace, he's more than Ilja Dragunov ever could be, because Ilja, he fights for his family, his fans, he's pathetic, he needs their love, he needs their approval, but all he needs, is himself. Devlin makes things personal in the leadup, when he tells Dragunov that he's gonna have to explain to his son why he always has to take care of his Dad. Dragunov says his life was always hard, his path was always difficult, but he never wanted it any other way, he's the NXT UK Champion because he fought for his life, and at first, he only wanted the title for himself, but he's got a lot more on the line, Devlin doesn't feel what he feels, it's all about those superficial things with Devlin, but for him, he feeds of the people, because they feel something off him when they see him fight, and unlike Devlin, he doesn't have to rely on anything external to be a champion, because his will triumphs over all.)

Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Usos (C) vs EC3 & Omos
(EC3 and his Personal Colossus become #1 contenders to the Smackdown Tag Team Championships after winning a Tag Team Turmoil. The Usos say that EC3 has fallen off the wagon quite a bit, he went from almost 300 days as Intercontinental Champion, to being relegated to the tag division, where he's gonna spend the rest of his career locked up in The Uso Penitentiary. EC3 says that the only thing The Usos are gonna be locking up is their car keys, because if they decide to go for a little joy ride, this match isn't gonna end up happening. Omos surprisingly turns on EC3 post-match.)
Main Card
World Heavyweight Championship - The Usos are banned from ringside
Roman Reigns (C) vs Seth Rollins (By Technical Submission)
(On the Smackdown after Day 1, the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring to cut an in-ring promo. Rollins says that he said he was gonna secure his date with destiny at Day 1, and he did exactly that, and he didn't need an advocate, he didn't need a special council to do it, because he doesn't need a penguin-looking snake oil salesman to do his job for him, he does things on his own, because he's Seth Freakin Rollins, because there's 3 things that are certain in life, Death, Taxes, and Seth Rollins beats Roman Reigns every single time. Rollins is interrupted by Paul Heyman, who informs Seth that Roman is still on vacation, so he's going to have to wait for his title shot. Rollins then tells Heyman to send a message back to Roman Reigns, but Rollins doesn't say anything after that, as he lays out Heyman with a pedigree. Rollins then tells Heyman to tell Roman that what he's about to receive is exactly what's going to happen to Roman when they face off. Rollins then hits Heyman with 2 Curb Stomps, writing Heyman off TV for a few weeks. Later on that night, Adam Pearce receives a phone call, and is informed that World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will be returning to Smackdown next week, and he wants to defend the title against Seth at the Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns then returns the next week on Smackdown after almost 2 months of not gracing Smackdown with his presence, to confront his new #1 contender. Rollins tries to get Roman to do The Shield fist bump, but Roman says that's beneath him now. Rollins says that he is the last person on Earth Roman wanted to win that tournament, and to be fair, why would he want to face him? Their track record in singles matches is pretty one-sided, he's won them all. Roman responds, saying that Rollins must be living under a rock, he's in God Mode now, he's The Tribal Chief, he's The Head of The Table, he's The Provider around here, he's The Greatest of this generation, no questions asked, he's the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time, which makes him the greatest to ever do this. Rollins responds, saying that can Roman look in the mirror at night and say that he's been a dominant World Heavyweight Champion for 500+ days all by himself? Because that's the difference between him and Roman, without Roman Reigns, he's just fine, he was climbing his way up the ladder, while he's was riding the pine in the CFL, and back in The Shield days, he was holding Roman's hand left & right, and then when he sent Roman packing with a chair to the back, he still couldn't do it on his own, he needed his famous bloodline to help him hold everything up for him, so the real question he has for Roman is, does he really understand who the greatest is here? Because let's not forget, he created Roman, and he can destroy Roman. Roman responds, saying that Seth is a waste of his time, he dresses like a clown, he sounds like a clown, he is a clown, he clearly doesn't have the star power that The Tribal Chief has, he'll never reach the same heights he has, and let's be real, if he got to pick his opponent, a megastar to face, he wouldn't have chosen Seth, he wouldn't have been the choice from Seth's own household, because if he wanted to defend this title at the Rumble against a megastar, he would've picked Seth's wife. The following week on Smackdown, Seth Rollins wins a 6-Man Tag Team Match alongside EC3 & Omos over The Bloodline to get The Usos banned from ringside, meaning Roman is now all by himself at The Rumble. Roman does something out of character before this match, and enters first, and when Seth (who now comes out second) makes his entrance, he doesn't come out to his normal theme or in his normal ring gear, no, he comes out to The Shield's theme, in his Shield gear, making The Shield entrance through the crowd. Instead of a rubbish DQ finish, the closing moments of the match see's Seth Rollins successfully hit a Curb Stomp on Roman, only for Paul Heyman to come out from under the ring and pull the ref out of the ring as Rollins is pinning Reigns. Rollins then chases Heyman around the ringside area and into the ring, only to be caught with a Spear by Roman. Roman then locks in the Guillotine, with Rollins passing out, allowing Roman to retain. After the match, Roman goes to the ringside area to grab a chair. Roman repeatedly batters Seth with the chair, before he stops, and goes to get another chair. Roman then sets Rollins up for a conchairto, but before he hits, Brock Lesnar's music hits, and outcomes The Beast, for the first time since TLC when Paul Heyman officially betrayed him. Lesnar makes a b line for the ring, and begins a brawl with The Head of The Table, taking him to Suplex City and laying him out with an F5, before hoisting up Roman's World Heavyweight Championship, however, he does not point at the Wrestlemania sign, signaling he does want another World title shot, but not at Wrestlemania 38.)
Raw Women's Championship
Blair Davenport (C) vs Tegan Nox
(2 former WCPW Women's Champions collide. Nox wins a #1 contenders battle royal to secure herself a title shot against The Commonwealth Queenpin at the Royal Rumble. Davenport (who IRL suffered an ankle injury around this time, an injury that no longer happens in this timeline) says that Nox and her have had many encounters in the past in the UK, and everyone knows who was the superior of the 2, because Nox had to climb her way to the main roster, because Nox has half the talent that she does, because she is one of the most dominant women in all of wrestling, former World of Stardom champion, former Women's tag team champion, Money in the Bank winner, and current Raw Women's Champion, what has Nox done ever since coming to WWE, exactly, nothing, and it remains that way at the Royal Rumble. Nox says that Davenport is still the same calculative individual from back in the day, she hasn't changed one bit, and she's gonna get what's been coming to her for over half a decade at the Royal Rumble.)

Triple Threat Match for the Smackdown Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (C) vs Toni Storm vs Shotzi Blackheart
(Instead of quitting the company because she got pie faced on National TV (f*ck you Vince), that segment does not happen, and Toni Storm begins a Smackdown Women's title feud with Big Time Becks. Storm becomes #1 contender to the Smackdown Women's Championship after beating Mandy Rose, Natalya and Naomi in a Fatal 4-Way Match. Becky says that it took this long for former NXT UK Women's Champion and 2018 Mae Young Classic Toni Storm to finally do something on the main roster, we'll she's gonna wish she was never called up here in the first place after The Royal Rumble. Storm says that the reason why she hasn't accomplished anything since arriving on Smackdown is that she keeps on getting held back, but now that she's making her own opportunities, that glass ceiling has been shattered into a million pieces. Shotzi Blackheart gets involved in Becky and Toni's feud after a Toni distraction leads to Shotzi pinning Big Time Becks. Becky says she's disgusted that just because Shotzi got a fluke pinfall over her, she now thinks she's hot sh*t because she finds herself in this title match. Toni says that Shotzi should be grateful that she's even in this position because of her, and as for Becky, the sands of the hourglass are almost finished on her title reign. Shotzi says that she deserves to be in this conversation, she pinned Becky, and regardless of what people what to say about it, lightning will strike twice at the Royal Rumble.)
Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Championship
Big E (C) vs Edge vs The Miz vs John Morrison
(On the Raw after Day 1, Edge confronts WWE Champion Big E. Edge says that Big E has done a great job at carrying the flag for Monday Night Raw as the WWE Champion, but he's new to this position, he's never had to carry that weight, and he's gonna end up falling back down the card once he loses the title because he can't handle the pressure of being champion, while someone like him can, so he wants to test Big E, he wants to face Big E for the WWE Championship... at the Royal Rumble! And at the Rumble, he guarantees he will walk out an 11-time World Champion. Big E says that Edge is a highly decorated individual, but he's come too far to lose this championship, he needs to keep it around his waist, and he's gonna use every fiber of his being to ensure that happens. Before the segment is over, The Miz & John Morrison interrupt. Miz says that it was guaranteed he would end Edge's career at Day 1, Day 1 was going to be Edge's final match, but when he got into that ring, it wasn't old Edge, it wasn't Brood Edge, it wasn't The Rated R Superstar, it wasn't WWE Hall of Famer Edge that he respected, and he wanted respect from, it was Edge the coward who capitalised on 2 best friends having a minor disagreement, what kind of man is that, because Edge doesn't deserve the fans respect, and he doesn't deserve the fans he respect, and he certainly hasn't gotten either his or John's respect, so there's only 1 way to fix this injustice, and that's by The A-Lister getting a shot at the WWE Championship over Edge. Morrison (who is beginning to fall out with Miz) interrupts, and says that he wouldn't mind having a shot at the WWE Championship himself. This then leads to Sonya Deville announcing that Big E will defend the WWE Championship at The Royal Rumble in a Triple Threat Match against Edge and either The Miz or John Morrison, who will face each other later on that evening in a #1 contenders match. Despite the conflict between the 2, Miz & Morrison seemingly patch it up and orchestrate a plan to cause a double pin on each other, which they pull off, leading to Deville adding both Miz and Morrison to the match. Big E, unfortunately, breaks his neck in this match on a botched spear through the middle ropes on John Morrison, putting Big E out of action indefinitely . The closing moments of the match see's John Morrison score a near-fall on Edge, hitting Edge with Starship Pain, only for Miz to pull the referee out of the ring at 2. This begins an argument between Miz and Morrison, who are then both hit with a Double-Spear by Edge. Edge then hits Miz with one more Spear for the win, becoming an 11-time World Champion.)

Do you plan on writing Cesaro off since you’re around the time he left? Cesaro will lose a Belfast Brawl to Sheamus on the 02/11/22 episode of Smackdown to finish off his feud with The Brawling Brutes. The match concludes with a White Noise off the second rope through a table. Cesaro is then stretched out after the match to write him off, with his contract expiring a few days later.

Date: February 5th, 2022
Location: XL Center, Hartford, Connecticut

2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals
The Creed Brothers w/Malcom Bivens vs Hit Row w/B-Fab
(In January, the annual Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins, with 2 teams making their way to the finals, the teams in question, Diamond Mine's Creed Brothers, who go through a murderer's row of Legado Del Fantasma & The Grizzled Young Veterans to make it to the finals, where they meat their opponents, Hit Row, who defeat Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen and MSK to advance to the finals. Julius & Brutus score the win after Julius hits a Superplex on Top Dolla, followed up with his sitting Lariat to win the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.)
Austin Theory vs Grayson Waller
(On the NXT after Wargames V, the now heel Grayson Waller makes his entrance to thunderous boo's from the CWC crowd to address why he betrayed Johnny Gargano at Wargames and helped send him packing from NXT. Waller says a wise man once said "you can never fail, if you bet on yourself", but the wise man who said that overstayed his welcome, but before he sent that wise man on his way, he bet on himself. In just one move, he went from being just another one of the new guys introduced as apart of NXT's new crop, to one of the top stars in the world who gets to hang out with celebrities after ending the career of an 'NXT legend', while all these ungrateful fans who are booing him do the same old thing in their boring lives, and while he's at it, he admits that he was the one who attacked Austin Theory to get on to Team Gargano and execute his master plan. After a couple of weeks of Grayson Waller running through some lower-card guys in NXT, on the 01/12/22 episode of NXT after Grayson Waller squashes Dante Chen, Austin Theory (who is briefly a face) makes his return after over a month on the sideline, heading straight for Grayson Waller. Theory challenges Waller to a match at Vengeance Day so he can get payback on Waller for what he did to him in that parking lot, and for what he did to Johnny, saying that at the end of the day, Waller's only claim to fame is being an Australian Survivor pre-merge boot, and at Vengeance Day, his torch gets snuffed. Waller says that Johnny may no longer be here, but he can happily reunite "father and son" when he sends Theory packing from NXT, and that's not a Theory, that's a fact.)
NXT North American Championship & Cruiserweight Championship Title Unification Match
Carmelo Hayes (North American) w/Trick Williams vs Roderick Strong (Cruiserweight) w/Diamond Mine
(Heel vs heel. Following a successful North American Title Defense at New Year's Evil against A-Kid, on the 01/12/22 episode of NXT, North American Champion Carmelo Hayes confronts Diamond Mine (except for Roderick Strong, who is preparing for a match against Cameron Grimes later on in the night) after Malcolm Bivens makes a comment about Roderick Strong being "the champion" in NXT, which Melo responds to by bringing up his nickname, The A Champion, and unlike Roddy who just faces a bunch of vanilla midgets, he's facing the best of the best, and getting cheques and championships, because that's all he worries about. The following week in a vignette, Malcolm Bivens lays down the challenge for a title unification match at Vengeance Day on behalf of Roderick Strong, with Roddy following up that challenge by saying Melo has until February 5th to find his balls. On the go-home NXT before Vengeance Day, there's a contract signing between Melo and Roddy, with Melo saying that he calls Roderick Strong 'The B Champion', why? Because he isn't gonna BE champion for much longer, because when Melo shoots, he don't miss, and that's not a catchphrase, that's a lifestyle, cause he got aim like Denzel in The Equalizer, and Roddy better not be playing with him, because he'll be the latest to end up on a t-shirt, because Roddy needs to take a look at the guys Melo laid to the rest, what's the difference between him and them? Not a damn thing, because at Vengeance Day, Melo takes what he wants, and he's taking that Cruiserweight championship by any means necessary so he can unify both titles and truly be The A Champion of NXT. Roddy responds, saying the fact that Melo actually said all that to his face is impressive, but he needs to understand something, as much potential as Melo may have, they're both gonna have a life-changing experience, but for him, it's gonna be the greatest night of his career when he unifies these 2 championships, and he walks out a 2-time North American Champion, and for Carmelo, he's gonna be carried out and forever known as Humbled Hayes. This is the same match that happened at New Years' Evil IRL, with Melo unifying the 2 titles after winning with Nothin' But Net.)
NXT Women's Championship
Dakota Kai (C) vs Kay Lee Ray
(Following her turn on Dakota at Wargames, KLR explains her actions behind her decision to brutally assault NXT Women's Champion Dakota Kai. KLR explains that a lot of people are calling her crazy for stabbing her Wargames teammate in the back, why would she stab Dakota Kai in the back? First off, Dakota is a snake in the grass, she's known for cutting ties with people when they've served their use to her, so she knew she had to do to Dakota what she's done to so many others in the past, and the fact that she had to stoop to her level at Wargames to get to her disgusts her, because the fact that Dakota gets to be NXT Women's Champion and she doesn't is a sick joke. After over a month away to sell the injuries caused by Kay Lee Ray, the now babyface NXT Women's Champion Dakota Kai makes her return after Kay Lee Ray beats down Tatum Paxley following a match. Dakota challenges KLR to a match at Vengenace Day, saying that KLR is a black eye on the women's division, she's a walking piece of filth masquerading as a wrestler, but she looks forward to beating her to a pulp and retaining her NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day.)
NXT Championship
Tommaso Ciampa (C) vs Santos Escobar w/Legado Del Fantasma
(Following his victory inside Wargames that sent Johnny Gargano packing from NXT, Santos spends weeks upon weeks talking about NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, talking about how he wants to go 2 for 2 in sending #DIY members packing from NXT, because Tommaso Ciampa is not capable of carrying this brand like he once did with his now surgically repaired neck, because NXT would be much better off with The Emperor of Lucha Libre as El Campeon. The feud between Santos & Ciampa heats up when Legado Del Fantasma lays out Tommaso Ciampa after his defense against LA Knight at New Year's Evil (which Escobar was ok with because he wanted Knight to soften Ciampa up for him), which leads to Ciampa returning the favor a few weeks later when he costs LDF in the first round of The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic against The Creed Brothers. This causes Santos to go on a rant the following week about Tommaso Ciampa, saying he despises Tommaso Ciampa, he despises that Ciampa got to NXT 5 years before he did, he despises that he won the NXT Championship twice before he did, Ciampa has been here for far too long and that makes him sick. Ciampa responds to Santos, saying that he's a proven veteran, Santos has been doing this for 20+ years, but it shows it took him 2 decades to get to not just NXT, but WWE, where it only took him 1, which shows that Escobar has an inferiority complex, and he showcases that inferiority complex that he channels through his goon squad that he uses to exile people from NXT, like what he did to Johnny Gargano and Kyle O'Reilly, but at Vengeance Day, he's in control of his destiny, and it won't end up like those who Santos has exiled from NXT. Following his victory, as Ciampa is celebrating in the ring, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovani Vinci make their way out to the ring, and then GUNTHER's music hits, and outcomes the former NXT UK Champion to confront an old foe in Tommaso Ciampa.)

WWE Championship
Edge (C) vs Kevin Owens
(2 of Canada's favorite sons collide! On the Raw after The Royal Rumble, the show kicks off with new WWE Champion Edge celebrating for WWE. Edge starts off his promo by saying prayers up to Big E, no one ever wants to see an injury happen like that, he knows what it's like to break his neck, but he knows Big E will be back better than ever. Edge then says that for years, he fought to get medically cleared, he fought to get a small window to come back so he could have one more reign as a World Champion, and he accomplished it, and now that he is the champion, there is a whole plethera of men who he wants to defend the WWE Championship again. Edge is cut off by Royal Rumble winner Karrion Kross, who says that he will be challenging for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. Before Edge can respond to Kross, Kevin Owens interrupts, and says that Karrion Kross almost ended his career back at Day 1, and seeing as Kross has a guaranteed WWE Championship Match at Wrestlemania 38, he's gonna do everything in his power to ensure that he's the one Kross faces for that WWE Championship, so he wants a shot at Edge's WWE Championship, in their home country of Canada at Elimination Chamber. Edge accepts, saying that Kevin is one of the guys he has wanted to face for the longest time, and the fact that he gets to do it Canada makes it even better, and as mush as KO is obsessed about Karrion Kross, his head isn't in the right place, and that's gonna cost him when it counts. KO says that he's always wanted to be WWE Champion, it's his dream to defend the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, and the only thing standing in the way of that dream, is his idol, Edge, but he's not gonna get flustered come Elimination Chamber, he's on a mission for gold and to get payback on Karrion Kross, he checks the first one off when he becomes WWE Champion at Elimination Chamber. The 2 have a banger of a 20-minute match, concluding with KO countering a Spear from Edge into The Stunner, followed by another Stunner for the win, becoming WWE Champion. KO offers a handshake to Edge post-match, however, Edge, refuses, teasing a heel turn for The Rated R Superstar.)
Randy Orton vs Chad Gable w/Otis & Drew Gulak
(Despite losing the Raw Tag Team Championships to Los Lotharios, RK-Bro continue to wage war with The Alpha Academy, with The Apex Predator challenging The Master to a match at Elimination Chamber. Gable says that Orton may be a legend, but let's get down to brass tax, he's washed up, he has to take shortcuts to win nowadays, because Orton is a cheater, and as for him, we all know he's never cheated in anything in his life, he didn't need to cheat to make the Olympic team, he didn't need to cheat to become a 3-time Tag Team Champion or Intercontinental Champion, and he didn't need to cheat to earn a Masters Degree with an immaculate 4.0 GPA, a thank you, but back to Randy, there's nothing he despises more than cheaters, and Randy is the worst cheater of them all. Orton says that Chad is the most delusional teacher on the planet, as the only thing he's teaching Otis & Gulak, is how to fail. Gable debuts the SHOOSH! intro for Alpha Academy's theme here.)
Elimination Chamber Match to determine who will challenge Blair Davenport for the Raw Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 38
Alexa Bliss vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley w/Nikki Cross vs Tegan Nox vs Shayna Baszler vs Raquel Rodriguez
(Shortly after the Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan announces that she's staying on Smackdown and is going after Becky Lynch's Smackdown Women's Championship, with 6 of Raw's top women going at it inside the Elimination Chamber to determine who is next in line for the Top Gaijin. Bianca Belair defeats Nikki Cross to qualify, Tegan Nox defeats Charlotte Flair after a distraction from Bianca Belair to qualify, Rhea Ripley defeats Carmella to qualify, Shayna Baszler defeats Mia Yim to qualify, Alexa Bliss defeats Zelina Vega to qualify, and Raquel Rodriguez, who gets called up to Raw after the Rumble mauls Dana Brooke within seconds to secure the final spot in the match. Before the match begins, Charlotte Flair, fuming that Bianca Belair cost her a spot in the match, attacks Bianca during her entrance, but Bianca persists on competing in the match despite the injury. Despite the injury, Bianca Belair makes it to the final 2 against Alexa Bliss, and has Alexa up for the K.o.D, but her legs give out after the beating Charltote gave them earlier on. In the end, Blair Davenport's former best friend Alexa Bliss gets the win after a Twisted Bliss off the top rope, securing a showdown between the 2 of them at Wrestlemania 38.)
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match for the Raw Tag Team Championships
Los Lotharios (C) w/Zelina Vega vs The Street Profits vs The Mysterios vs The Miz & John Morrison
(After the Royal Rumble, The Street Profits begin targeting Los Lotharios after they defeat The Hurt Business in a #1 contenders match. The Profits say that Garza & Carillo may be these big deals south of the border, but in the US of A they ain't drawing a single dime, they ain't getting the smoke, but they gonna get it at Elimination Chamber when they lose the Raw Tag Team Championships. Zelina says that if The Profits mean they want to lose by "They want the smoke" then sure, they can have that. At the same time, The Mysterios begin feuding with The Miz & John Morrison after the Rumble, after The Miz accuses Dominik Mysterio of being Eddie Guerrero's son because he's a lot taller than Rey. The feud spills over into this match after a Street Profits distraction allows The Mysterios to pin Los Lotharios on an episode of Raw, with Miz & Morrison scoring a win over the Street Profits later that night after a distraction by Garza & Carillo, leading to both teams getting added to the match by Sonya Deville.)
WWE United States Championship
Keith Lee (C) w/Zelina Vega & Los Lotharios vs Finn Balor (By Disqualification)
(Following Keith Lee & Los Lotharios preventing him from entering the Rumble by attacking him, Balor sets his sights on Keith Lee and the US title. Balor says that Lee really went from being one of the most charismatic individuals on the roster, to a generic brute that takes orders from someone half his size. Zelina says that Finn is gonna be in store for one brutal beating, a beating that is going to result in a death that not even fleas would mourn. Balor wins by DQ after interference from Los Lotharios. The 3 beat Balor down, and Lee prepares to hit a Spirit Bomb on Balor onto Steel Steps, until Samoa Joe's music hits, and The Samoan Submission Machine comes out to save Balor, laying out Los Lotharios and forcing Keith Lee into retreat.)
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Sami Zayn (C) vs Swerve Strickland
(After he eliminated Sami Zayn at the Royal Rumble, Swerve Strickland is granted an IC title shot against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber by Adam Pearce. During the leadup, Sami Zayn is still feuding with Johnny Knoxville, even showing up to the Jackass Forever premier, only to get thrown out by security. Swerve says that Sami is too focused on Johnny Knoxville, and that's gonna be his downfall come Elimination Chamber, because whose house is it? It's Swerve's House. Sami says that after he's done with this delinquent, he'll move on to kicking Johnny Knoxville's face in. Sami trashes the Winnipeg crowd pre-match to ensure he gets booed. The closing moments of the match see's Sami set Swerve up for the Helluva Kick, only for Johnny Knoxville's music to hit, and the Jackass star to walk out. This disracts Sami, as it gives Swerve enough time to recover, hit The House Call, and follow it up with The Swerve Stomp to become the new Intercontinental Champion.)
Singles Match for Liv Morgan's Wrestlemania Title Shot
Liv Morgan vs Lita
(On the Smackdown after the Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan cuts a heartfelt promo about her Rumble win, declaring she'll challenge Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 38, when she's surprisingly interrupted by Lita. Lita says that she's happy for Liv that she finally manage to get back into the title picture, and she know's Liv won't back down from a challenge, which is why, she thinks she has 1 more left in her, and she wants that 1 to be against Liv... at Elimination Chamber! And since it's tradition for the Rumble Winner to put their title shot on the line in the leadup, how about Liv puts her title shot on the line. Liv says she's more than happy to put her title shot on the line against her biggest inspiration, when she was just a little girl in New Jersey who was doing backyard wrestling with her Brothers, she always pretended to be Lita, but now she's actually gonna face her 1-on-1, so for her, this is about proving that she is no longer that little girl to herself. Both women embrace after the match and Lita raising Liv's hand, as Becky Lynch (who was on commentary for the match), looks absolutely disgusted)
Cross-Brand Elimination Chamber Match to determine who will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 38
AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs Matt Riddle vs Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus w/Pete Dunne & Ridge Holland
(After Karrion Kross announces he's going after the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, Raw GM Sonya Deville approaches Smackdown GM Adam Pearce for an idea for Elimination Chamber, 3 men from Raw, 3 men from Smackdown, they face off inside the Elimination Chamber, winner challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 38. Over the next few weeks, a number of Fatal 4-Way Qualifying Matches take place. AJ Styles defeats Rey Mysterio, The Miz, and Damian Priest to qualify, Bobby Lashley defeats Finn Balor, Keith Lee, and John Morrison to qualify, and Matt Riddle defeats Randy Orton, Chad Gable, and Otis to round out the spots for Raw. Over on Smackdown, Seth Rollins defeats EC3, Omos, and Pete Dunne to qualify, Drew McIntyre defeats Happy Corbin, Ricochet, and Ridge Holland to qualify, and Sheamus defeats Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro (in what is Cesaro's second final match before losing a Belfast Brawl to Sheamus on the 02/11/2022 episode of Smackdown in what is his final match for WWE as he leaves a few days later when his contract expires), and Dominik Dijakovic to round out the spots for Smackdown. The final 2 comes down to Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre, reminiscent of their Rumble Showdown the previous year. Drew goes for the Claymore, but Bobby counters it with a Spear, before making Drew pass out to The Hurt Lock to punch his ticket to Wrestlemania 38.)
Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns (C) w/Paul Heyman & The Usos vs Brock Lesnar
(After Brock Lesnar attacked him back at the Royal Rumble, it's revealed that Roman Reigns will have 1 final roadblock before Wrestlemania, he will defend his World Heavyweight Championships against Brock Lesnar 1 more time, at Elimination Chamber... in a Last Man Standing Match! In the leadup, Brock constantly plays games with Roman, such as driving a Forklift into Roman's car and destroying it. Brock says that Roman and Paul Heyman are in line for a country a$$-kicking, but before he delivers that country a$$-kicking, he wants to take a trip down memory lane, he's gonna take Roman to take a trip down Suplex City, he's gonna introduce Roman to The Beast of Broadway, we're gonna hit the Carnival, Roman is gonna go for a ride on the F5, and nobody survives a ride on the F5, then, Roman is gonna hit a wedding, the wedding of The Beast, and the World Heavyweight Championship, but what really excites him, is at Elimination Chamber, he finally gets to get his hands on Roman and Paul, there's nowhere to run, there's nowhere to hide, because at Elimination Chamber, he's gonna stand above Roman after he fails to get up for the 10 count, with the big gold belt in his hands, and he's gonna raise it to the skies, and they will chant, ladies and gentlemen, your new, reigning, defending, undisputed, World Heavyweight Champion, BROCK, LESNAR! Roman says what really bothers him about Brock, is this is personal for him, he was jealous the wise man left him for The Tribal Chief, so he's out for blood, blood that he already spilled back at Fastlane 2016, he smashed his face to the point where his kids didn't even recognise him, his wife didn't want him in this business anymore, his Dad doubted him, his family was disappointed him, but to Brock, this is just some game, Suplex City, it's a carnival now, that's all good because The Tribal Chief changed the game, The Bloodline changed the game, and they're gonna take everything from Brock, you see, he already took his advocate and upgraded him to a wise man, he took his claim to being the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion of all time, he got receipst and took his blood at TLC, and at Elimination Chamber, he makes the final move, when he destroys Brock, and Brock's gonna know what it's like to be personal, because he's gonna make it personal, because it's always been personal to The Head of The Table. This is the exact same match that happened at Summerslam 2022 (minus the Austin Theory bit), with Brock coming out in a Tractor, flipping the ring over, Brock finally giving Heyman what he deserves, and it all concluding with Roman and The Usos burying Brock beneath a pile of rubble to ensure he doesn't get up for the 10 count. After the match, as Roman, The Usos, and Heyman, all feeling the effects from that Last Man Standing Match, all walk back up the ramp, until Bobby Lashley's music hits, and outcomes The Almighty, fresh off winning The Eliminaiton Chamber earlier on in the evening, flanked by The Hurt Business. Bobby stares down with Roman on the stage, and Roman hoists up his World Heavyweight Championship as the show goes off the air.)
