WWF Insurrextion May 6, 2000 Earls Court Exhibition Centre London, England
*The British Bulldog Emerged with the Hardcore Title Jacqueline entered the UK exclusive Pay Per View as the Hardcore Champion, and was actually defending it against Tori as a result of winning it the previous Smackdown. However the match was interrupted by Crash Holly, who pinned Jacqueline to regain the title. Crash however was attacked backstage by The British Bulldog, who pinned Crash and won the title, escaping with it in his home country.
*Dean Malenko d. TAKA Michinoku w/Funaki by Pinfall to Retain the Light Heavyweight Title In the official opening match of the UK show, Dean Malenko defended his Light Heavyweight Championship against former champion TAKA Michinoku. In a stellar match, Taka put up a great fight against Malenko, but the Iceman was able to counter an attempted Michinoku driver into a small package to retain the title.
*The APA [Bradshaw & Faarooq] d. The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] w/Lita by Pinfall Two teams jockeying for tag team position in this match, with Matt & Jeff seemingly having the Acolytes ready to be pinned. However Edge & Christian, who were feuding with the Hardys at the time, distracted Matt by Edge going after Lita. This allowed Christian to sneak in from the crowd and clock Jeff with a steel chair as the daredevil was looking for a Swanton Bomb. Bradshaw then covered Jeff in the confusion and picked up the victory.
*Eddie Guerrero, Perry Saturn & Chris Benoit d. Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] & Rikishi by Pinfall Eddie Guerrero had been feuding with Rikishi over the European title, and teamed with his Radicalz teammates in order to face the big man and Too Cool. The Radicalz worked as a well oiled machine, and despite Rikishi delivering a stinkface to "Latino Heat", the trio of Guerrero, Saturn & Benoit won the match when the Intercontinental Champion caused Grandmaster Sexay to tap out to the Crippler Crossface.
*Chyna d. Bad Ass Billy Gunn by Pinfall Since splitting from the Road Dogg, Bad Ass Billy Gunn (or Mr. Ass as he sometimes called himself) had adopted a more narcissistic persona. He began feuding with the 9th Wonder of the World Chyna after making a pass at her backstage and then costing her a match with Perry Saturn of the Radicalz on an episode of Smackdown. In a relatively short match in which Gunn completely dismissed his opponent due to his overconfidence, Chyna won after hitting a Tornado DDT on Mr. Ass, stunning him.
*Kurt Angle d. X-Pac by Submission X-Pac had turned on Kane (or more appropriately abandoned Kane, as he did not ally himself with the heel McMahon-Helmsley Regime) a week prior in order to establish himself independent of the Big Red Machine, having felt overshadowed by him immediately upon his return to the WWF. This quest however fell short against the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle, who defeated X-Pac with an Ankle Lock.
*The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] d. Edge & Christian by Disqualification [Edge & Christian Retain the Tag Team Titles] The Dudley Boyz challenged Edge & Christian for the World Tag Team Titles, and from the get go it was apparent that the champions were out to keep their titles by any means necessary, including how they eventually got themselves intentionally disqualified with a low blow to D-Von right in front of the referee. However, The Hardy Boyz prevented the champions from escaping the ring, allowing the Dudleys to hit them with a 3-D each through a table to the crowd's delight.
*Kane d. Chris Jericho by Pinfall The night after Triple H lost the triple threat match for the WWF Title, he lost in a huge upset a one on one match against Chris Jericho, who had begun making disparaging remarks about Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. As punishment, Jericho was put into a match against Kane. Y2J availed himself well, but a timely distraction from Chris Benoit of the Radicalz allowed Kane to hit a Chokeslam and follow it up with a Tombstone to pick up the win.
*The Rock & The Big Show d. Triple H & Shane McMahon w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley by Pinfall There was little trust between The Rock and The Big Show, despite the fact that Show had seemingly been cast from the confidence of the McMahon-Helmsley Regime following the actions at Backlash one week earlier. Despite this distrust, Show and Rock found a good rhythm as a team, and Big Show got a hot tag from the WWF Champion, cleaning house before pinning Shane McMahon after a thunderous Chokeslam, while Rock hit a People's Elbow on the former WWF Champion for good measure.

WWF Judgment Day May 21, 2000 Louisville, KY Freedom Hall
*Kurt Angle d. Road Dogg by Submission The King of the Ring qualifying round began with this standard match, with Kurt Angle defeating the Road Dogg with an Ankle Lock.
*Sean Morally w/Steven Richards & Bull Buchanan d. The Godfather by Pinfall Following his "abduction" the previous month at Backlash, Val Venis had emerged as the moral crusader "Sean Morally", and as a member of the Right to Censor. The "pro-family values" group then targeted The Godfather for his parading around of "women of ill-repute", with Morally pinning The Godfather following a Censor-Plex (Fisherman's Suplex) for the victory. Before the Right to Censor could kidnap and brainwash The Godfather as they had done Venis though, The Godfather was saved by D'Lo Brown.
*Crash Holly Emerged with the Hardcore Title The Hardcore Title was initially not set to be defended at the event, however Albert found himself being hunted by his current tag partner, Test, as he arrived at the event. When he met with his manager, Trish Stratus, he was blind sided by a Kendo Stick shot from Test, who pinned Albert to regain the title. Just moments later though as Test celebrated, he was hit with a loaded purse from Trish herself, who proceeded to pin Test and win the Hardcore Title for herself. Later in the evening, it was revealed that Trish had paid the Acolytes Protection Agency (APA) to protect her and her title. When Test and Albert both came looking for revenge (and the belt), storming the APA's "offices" in the back, the two teams began fighting with each other. While Trish stood by and watched, Crash Holly snuck in from behind and rolled up Trish, pinning her to regain the Hardcore Title and leaving with it in Louisville.
*Edge & Christian d. Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] by Disqualification to Retain the World Tag Team Titles Edge & Christian had attempted to get out of defending their Tag Team Titles, feigning illness and attempting to bribe Commissioner Mick Foley. When this failed they were forced to go through with the match against Too Cool. The champions seemingly were in control of the match until the referee went down from an errant spear from Edge. In the sequence that followed, the Hardy Boyz came to ringside and attacked the champions, continuing their feud. This allowed Too Cool to make a comeback, with Scotty 2 Hotty hitting the Worm move, followed by a Hip Hop Drop from the Grandmaster. A replacement referee came down and made the count, seemingly giving Too Cool the tag team titles. However the original referee had seen the interference from the Hardys and overturned the decision, awarding the match via disqualification to Edge & Christian, keeping the titles where they were.
*Bad Ass Billy Gunn d. Chyna by Pinfall Following Chyna's victory over Billy Gunn at the UK exclusive show Insurrextion, the self-professed "Mr. Ass" challenged Chyna to a rematch at Judgment Day. It at first looked as if the result would be the same as before, as Chyna surprisingly bested Gunn in displays of strength. The tide turned however when Gunn pulled some brass knuckles out of his tights and decked Chyna in the face with them behind the referee's back. Gunn then followed up with a Jackhammer slam to pick up the revenge win.
*Eddie Guerrero d. Rikishi by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title This match had initially been planned to be for the European title alone, but that metric changed when Rikishi defeated Chris Benoit (with an inadvertent assist from Eddie Guerrero) for the IC Title on the Smackdown before Judgment Day. Thus this match was for the first ever "Eurocontinental Championship". The big man was in control early on, but a feigned injury by Eddie suckered him in to smack his head into an exposed turnbuckle, allowing Guerrero to take advantage. Eddie then tried to finish off Rikishi with a Frogsplash, only for the Samoan to duck out of the way. A comeback from Rikishi followed, with the IC Champion setting up Guerrero for a Banzai Drop. Eddie however scurried out of the way and scored the pin on the fallen champion with an assist from the bottom rope for extra leverage, giving Eddie two titles at once.
*Chris Benoit d. Chris Jericho in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match Jericho had been on a major winning streak despite not winning the IC Title at Backlash, having beaten Triple H in a major upset the night after on Raw. His match with Benoit was made 2 out of 3 Falls in an attempt to finally decide who the better man was, despite it not being for the previously lost IC Title. Benoit won the first fall after a series of German Suplexes that caught Jericho by surprise, and it looked like Benoit would win the 2nd fall as well after nearly catching Y2J in the Crippler Crossface. Jericho was able to prevent the hold from being locked in, and then caught Benoit with a pinning combination to even the score. The match continued with a good back and forth until Jericho had Benoit in the Walls of Jericho, trying to pick up the victory via submission. However, at that point Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley made her way to ringside with a steel chair. She walloped Jericho with the chair to the head as the referee was checking on Benoit. With Jericho unconscious, Benoit rolled him over and picked up the victory in the third and decisive fall.
*Shane McMahon d. The Big Show in a Falls Count Anywhere Match Shane McMahon had turned on The Big Show the month before, as the giant was cast out of the McMahon-Helmsley Regime. While Show was initially targeting Triple H for his treachery, he also went after Shane, with the younger McMahon challenging him to a No Holds Barred, Falls Count Anywhere match. Show dominated the match, with Shane trying his best to avoid the giant at all costs. The Mean Street Posse appeared to help their friend, only to easily be swatted away from the Big Show. However the distraction allowed Perry Saturn & Dean Malenko of the Radicalz to arrive and attack the Big Show, providing Shane with the much needed backup. The match ended on the Judgment Day stage after Malenko and Saturn hit a Double Dropkick to Show, causing him to fall off the stage and crash into production equipment, setting off several sparks and seemingly electrocuting the Big Show. Shane then quickly pinned Show for the sake of formality, before scurrying off, as medical personnel loaded the Big Show onto a stretcher and wheeled him out of the arena.
*The Rock d. Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match to Retain the WWF Championship Triple H managed to win a Fatal Fourway match on an episode of Smackdown also involving Chris Jericho, The Big Show and Chris Benoit in order to earn a title match against The Rock. Trying to end the issues between The Game and The People's Champion, WWF Commissioner Mick Foley made the match a 60 Minute Iron Man Match for the title. Triple H went up 2-0 early thanks to interference from Vince McMahon, which led to a countout and a Triple H pinfall after a Pedigree in quick succession. Commissioner Foley then made his way to ringside and ejected Vince from the arena, just as The Rock pulled Triple H into a Sharpshooter to earn a submission fall (on top of the disqualification fall that Foley put on Triple H at the same time) to even the score at 2 a piece. Neither man would gain a lead for long afterwards, until the match stood at 4 falls a piece with 3 minutes left in the match and both men exhausted. As both men stood trying to eek out a final win. In the end The Rock hit one final Rock Bottom/People's Elbow combination to pick up the 5-4 victory. This victory would be short lived though as Vince, Shane, Malenko, Saturn and the Mean Street Posse all came to ringside to attack the Rock. Kane came to The Rock's aid, and would initially be joined by X-Pac, who had been wavering on teaming with Kane anymore, only to be once and for all turned on by X-Pac, who joined the Regime. The 9-2 advantage (with Foley having been taken out by The Posse) continued until the lights went out and there was a roar of a Chopper, as the Undertaker made his return, cleaning house after riding in on a motorcycle. The Undertaker, The Rock and Kane stood tall to end the night.

WWF King of the RingJune 25, 2000Fleet CenterBoston, MA*Kurt Angle d. Tazz by Pinfall in a KOTR 1st Round Match In the opening round of the King of the Ring tournament, Kurt Angle finally avenged his loss at the Royal Rumble by defeating Tazz in a clean match, countering an attempted Tazzmission into an Angle Slam that allowed the Olympic Champion to pick up the victory.
*Eddie Guerrero d. Chris Benoit by Disqualification in a KOTR 1st Round Match The night after Judgment Day saw Eddie Guerrero's reign as the "Eurocontinental" Champion come to an abrupt end as Chris Benoit "accidentally" cost Latino Heat the European half of his title in a match against Billy Gunn. Benoit apologized to his longtime friend, but Benoit's true colors quickly became known as he attacked the Intercontinental Champion shortly after Guerrero successfully qualified for the King of the Ring tournament. In this highly athletic quarterfinal match, Guerrero withstood all of Benoit's offense, frustrating the Rabid Wolverine to the point where he ignored the referee's instructions and viciously assaulted Guerrero, resulting in a disqualification. Benoit continued the assault on the ribs and neck of Guerrero, further injuring him.
*Chris Jericho d. D'Lo Brown by Pinfall in a KOTR 1st Round Match In a standard match in the Quarterfinals of the King of the Ring Tournament, Chris Jericho continued his winning ways by pinning D'Lo Brown following a Lionsault.
*Sean Morally w/Steven Richards & Bull Buchanan d. Rikishi by Pinfall in a KOTR 1st Round Match The Right to Censor entered the King of the Ring tournament in an attempt to "purify" the tournament of all its filthy and immoral elements. Facing former IC Champion Rikishi, it appeared as if the former Val Venis would be defeated by the Samoan, but timely interference from Bull Buchanan and Steven Richards (who took a Stinkface for the cause) allowed Morally to roll up Rikishi from behind and score the pinfall to advance in the tournament.
*The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] w/Lita d. The Radicalz [Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn] by Pinfall This tag match had intrigue as the winners would receive title shots at next month's Fully Loaded pay per view. The intrigue was added when Matt Hardy defeated Dean Malenko for the Light Heavyweight Title on the Raw before King of the Ring. Despite Malenko and Saturn isolating Matt for much of the match, Jeff made a hot tag to his brother and cleaned out the Radicalz, eventually pinning Saturn following a Swanton Bomb.
*Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco d. Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] by Pinfall to Win the World Tag Team Titles After losing the tag team titles to Too Cool, Edge & Christian were barred from challenging for the belts again as long as Too Cool were champions by Commissioner Foley as a punishment for their constant use of underhanded tactics in retaining the titles. He then promoted a #1 contenders battle royal on an episode of Smackdown for the titles. Unable to enter themselves, Edge and Christian managed to get Vince McMahon's Stooges, Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, to enter the battle royal and then helped them win, figuring that they could easily beat the Stooges for the belts after they helped them win. However Foley seemingly had them figured, as they barred the two from the arena at King of the Ring, leaving Patterson and Brisco all on their own. Too Cool were on their way seemingly to an easy victory, when the referee took a fall from running into a nearby camera man. A second camera man then got on the apron while wearing a wig and sunglasses and drilled Scotty 2 Hotty in the back with a TV camera as Scotty was delivering The Worm to Brisco. The first camera man then threw the ref back in as the 2nd one battled with Grandmaster Sexay, allowing Brisco to score the shocking pinfall and the Stooges to win the titles. In the melee it was revealed that Edge and Christian were the camera men in question as they celebrated dethroning the men who had beaten them for the belts.
*Kurt Angle d. Eddie Guerrero by Submission in a KOTR Semifinal Match Despite his injuries Eddie Guerrero attempted to gut out a match against Kurt Angle in the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament, but it was clear he was in no real condition to compete. Angle hooked Guerrero in an Ankle Lock and forced Latino Heat to tap out in a relatively quick match to advance to the finals of the tournament.
*Chris Jericho d. Sean Morally w/Steven Richards & Bull Buchanan by Submission in a KOTR Semifinal Match The Right to Censor's quest for morality ran into Y2J in the semifinals, as Jericho took advantage of the fact that Steven Richards and Bull Buchanan had been banished from ringside per the edict of Commissioner Foley. As a result, Jericho was able to beat Sean Morally in a relatively easy match, causing him to submit to the Walls of Jericho.
*"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman d. Crash Holly & The Big Bossman by Pinfall to Win the WWF Hardcore Title These three men had been trading the Hardcore Title for the past week, leading to this hardcore triple threat match. Despite the titles 24/7 defense rule, no one interfered in this particular match, and Steve Blackman was able to pick up the victory after delivering a Pump Kick to the Big Bossman while the champion was holding a trash can lid. Crash attempted to sneak attack Blackman after the match, but got a kendo stick shot in the ribs for his troubles.
*Kurt Angle d. Chris Jericho by Pinfall to Win the King of the Ring Tournament The finals of the King of the Ring tournament was easily the most competitive match of the entire tournament, as Angle and Jericho each traded moves for close to 20 minutes of action. Jericho was able to withstand one Angle Slam while Angle was able to power out of the Walls of Jericho as well. In the end the Olympic Hero caught Jericho as Y2J was attempting a moonsault from the top rope, catching him with a Top Rope Angle Slam to pick up the victory and become the new King of the Ring.
*The Rock, The Undertaker & Kane d. Triple H, Shane McMahon & X-Pac w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley The Undertaker had returned to the WWF after several months off, adopting a new persona of the "American Bad Ass" as opposed to the Lord of Darkness persona he had portrayed prior to his departure. The Phenom, along with his brother Kane, had reunited to form the Brothers of Destruction, and were each looking to regain the WWF Title. Triple H was also looking for another shot at the title and targeted the Brothers as well as The Rock with the remnants of the McMahon-Helmsley Regime, leading to this six man tag match. Commissioner Foley added the stipulations that if Triple H's team won, then Triple H would win the WWF title, whereas if The Rock's team won, then Undertaker and Kane would each receive a title shot in the coming weeks. Triple H's team controlled the match for much of the time, isolating Kane and working him over, with X-Pac in particular targeting his former tag partner. The Rock made the hot tag to Kane and took control briefly, before a low blow behind the ref's back by Shane changed the match again. Once Undertaker finally got in the match though, he cleaned house, hitting Shane with a devastating Chokeslam through the announce table. The Rock then hit X-Pac with a People's Elbow following a Kane Chokeslam, picking up the win and seemingly finally putting the Regime behind him.

WWF Fully Loaded July 23, 2000 Reunion Arena Dallas, TX
*Al Snow d. Perry Saturn w/Terri Runnels by Pinfall to Retain the European Title Al Snow had won the European Title the previous Smackdown, and was set to defend in a rematch against the former champion. Snow also began his gimmick of "representing all of Europe", appearing as an Italian for the match. In a standard match, Snow won with a Northern Lights Suplex to retain the title.
*Right to Censor [Steven Richards, Sean Morally & Bull Buchanan] d. Rikishi & Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] by Pinfall The trio of Right to Censor had begun targeting Rikishi and Too Cool for their "lewd" dance routines that had thrilled the fans throughout the year. Challenging them to a six man tag team match, it looked as if the RTC would be beaten on the strength of Rikishi alone, however a masked man in a suit came out of the crowd when the referee was down and attacked the Samoan while Buchanan and Morally dealt with Too Cool. This allowed the leader, Richards, to make the cover and secure the win. The hooded man then revealed himself to the surprise of everyone as former Headbanger Mosh.
*The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] d. T&A [Test & Albert] w/Trish Stratus by Pinfall The Dudley Boyz had recently, following a tag team loss to T&A just before King of the Ring, been trying to get revenge by putting Trish Stratus through a table. Test and Albert did their best to avoid that fate for their manager, but a 3-D to Albert gave the victory to the Dudleys. Afterwards, Trish did indeed "get wood" as D-Von would put it, being powerbombed through a table by Bubba Ray.
*Chyna d. Bad Ass Billy Gunn by Pinfall in a "Kiss My Ass" match The feud between Chyna and Billy Gunn reached its finale in this special match, with the stipulation that the loser would have to kiss the posterior of the winner. Billy Gunn took control early on when Chyna was sent out of the ring on a clothesline and tweaked her knee, seemingly injuring herself. However Chyna fought back and eventually hit Gunn with a DDT to pick up the victory. Billy Gunn initially tried to run away from kissing Chyna's ass, but was confronted by his former partner The Road Dogg, who forced Gunn into performing the action.
*The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] w/Lita & The APA [Faarooq & Bradshaw] Wrestled to a No Contest [APA Retains the World Tag Team Titles] The Hardy Boyz had earned a tag team title shot the previous month a King of the Ring, once again leaving former champions Edge & Christian out in the cold. The former champions had attempted to cash in a match against the Stooges Patterson & Brisco, but Commissioner Foley suspended them for their actions at King of the Ring, giving the title shot to the APA instead (who beat the Stooges in less than 30 seconds). The match between the Hardys and the Acolytes was very even, with the high-flying Hardys able to keep Bradshaw and Faarooq off balance. However before a match could be resolved, Edge & Christian returned and attacked both teams with steel chairs, resulting in the match being thrown out. They even nailed Faarooq with a move called the "Con-Chair-To", knocking him unconscious and sending him to the hospital.
*Tazz d. X-Pac by Submission to Retain the Intercontinental Title X-Pac appeared directionless after finally rejoining the McMahon-Helmsley Regime, only to have the Regime evaporate around him (mainly because Vince, disappointed with his children, had gone home to make another baby with Linda, in storyline). He sought to regain championship gold by challenging Intercontinental Champion Tazz, who had won the title by defeating an injured Eddie Guerrero. X-Pac was able to take control early on, but similar to his earlier appearances, Tazz dominated the latter half of the match, finishing off X-Pac with the Tazzmission to retain the title.
*Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero Wrestled to a Time Limit Draw Chris Benoit's actions at King of the Ring had cost Eddie Guerrero not only the King of the Ring tournament, but had essentially cost him the Intercontinental Title as well. Benoit and Guerrero met in a rematch at Fully Loaded, with Guerrero's injuries seemingly healed. However Benoit was able to take advantage of the still tender ribs of Latino Heat. Guerrero withstood the attacks though, and the match eventually ended in a 15 minute draw. Guerrero and Benoit, longtime friends, seemed to come to an understanding when Benoit offered Guerrero a handshake. Eddie took it, only for Benoit to lowblow him and continue the attack. Surprisingly, Eddie was then saved by Chyna, who came running out with a baseball bat and chased Benoit out of the ring. Chyna, whom Eddie had been flirting with backstage in segments for the last few weeks, seemed legitimately concerned about him and looked over him.
*Chris Jericho d. Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon Helmsley by Pinfall The miniature feud between Chris Jericho and Triple H had heated up again, with Jericho continuing to make disparaging comments about Triple H's wife, as well as saying that "The Game" shouldn't receive another WWF title shot. At the same time, King of the Ring winner Kurt Angle had seemingly befriended Stephanie and, much to Triple H's chagrin, had been trying to defend her honor by facing Jericho as well. Triple H sought to end Jericho's win streak against him, and dominated most of the match. But Jericho fought back and evened up the score with a sudden flying forearm shot after a comeback, leading to both men down. After another exchange, a springboard dropkick from Jericho went awry and hit the referee instead. Kurt Angle came running to ringside and attacked Jericho, as Triple H looked on. Angle told Triple H to get his sledge hammer while the Olympic Hero held Jericho in place. Triple H attempted to use the sledge hammer on Jericho, but "accidentally" hit Angle instead. This provided the distraction for Jericho to roll up Triple H from behind and pin him as the ref came too, scoring yet another upset over the former WWF Champion.
*The Rock d. The Undertaker w/Kane by Disqualification to Retain the WWF Championship Because of their victory in the Six Man Tag the month before, both Kane and The Undertaker had received WWF Title Shots. Kane received his first and, despite putting up a good effort, The Rock retained the title via a Rock Bottom to the Big Red Machine. The Phenom decided to face Rock at the PPV, with Kane in his corner. The two men fought well against each other, as both men scored near falls on the other repeatedly. In the end it appeared that Undertaker might be setting up the Rock for the Last Ride, when Triple H made his way down to ringside again. Triple H, still furious with Undertaker for sticking his nose in business that wasn't his months ago, attacked The Rock instead of the Deadman, causing Rock to win via disqualification. Triple H then used his sledge hammer to take out both Kane and The Undertaker, only for Chris Jericho to come back out and attack Triple H. Kurt Angle then made his way to ringside, and eventually all 6 men began brawling with each other to close the show on chaos.
Off-Camera Title Changes: July 31: Edge & Christian d. The APA to win the World Tag Team Titles August 3: The Dudley Boyz d. WWF Summerslam August 27, 2000 Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena Raleigh, NC
*The APA [Bradshaw & Faarooq] & Jacqueline d. T&A [Test & Albert] & Trish Stratus by Pinfall Trish Stratus had surprisingly won the Women's Title from Lita in the weeks leading up to Summerslam. This put her in direct competition with Jacqueline, who had earned a future title shot by beating Ivory on an episode of Smackdown. Rather than defend the title against Jacqueline at Summerslam, Trish proposed that she find two partners to take on her and her clients, Test and Albert, in an intergender tag match. Jacqueline hired the services (or rather acquired them pro bono after cleaning them out in a poker game) of the APA for the match. The two tag teams were in the ring for much of the match, allowing Trish to do everything she could to avoid getting in the ring with Jacqueline. Eventually however the two women met up, with Jacqueline pinning Trish after a Tornado DDT.
*Dean Malenko d. Grandmaster Sexay by Submission to Retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Title In a standard title match, Dean Malenko successfully defended the Light Heavyweight Title, causing Grandmaster Sexay to tap out after locking him in a Texas Cloverleaf.
*Al Snow d. The Godfather by Pinfall to Retain the European Title Al Snow continued his gimmick of representing random European nations, this time coming out dressed in leiderhosen and a German hat as if he were from Bavaria. Despite Snow being out powered by the Godfather, The European Champion continued his winning ways, pinning Godfather after a Snow Plow to retain the title.
*Rikishi d. Sean Morally & Charles Warrington w/Bull Buchanan & Steven Richards by Pinfall The feud between Rikishi and the Right to Censor after the faction had cheated to win a six man tag the month before. As they continued their crusade against Rikishi's grotesque dance routines, the Samoan eventually made a deal with them. He agreed to face two of the 4 members in a Handicap match, and if he lost he would never dance again. If he won though, he would get Steven Richards alone in the ring for 5 minutes. Thus Rikishi took on Sean Morally and the newest member of the group, the former Headbanger Mosh (now going by his real name of Charles Warrington). Despite having the numbers advantage, Rikishi perservered, delivering a Stinkface to Sean Morally and then pinning Warrington after a Banzai Drop. However before he could get his match with Richards, Ivory made her way to ringside and distracted Rikishi, allowing Bull Buchanan to nail him from behind with a Big Boot, and then have Richards hit a Censor Kick on him before escaping.
*Road Dogg & K-Kwik d. Bad Ass Billy Gunn & X-Pac by Pinfall The on-again, off-again feud between the former New Age Outlaws continued with both men finding new tag partners to take on each other. Billy Gunn recruited former DX teammate, X-Pac to be his partner. While the Road Dogg instead found the young rookie wrestler, K-Kwik. The youngster performed amazingly in the match, but found himself caught by the two veterans. Eventually Road Dogg made the hot tag and scored the win after hitting Billy Gunn with a Pumphandle Slam.
*"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman d. Shane McMahon by Pinfall to Win the Hardcore Title Since winning the Hardcore Title back in June, Steve Blackman had bucked the trend of most recent champions, successfully defending his title several times under the 24/7 rule. However on the Raw before Summerslam, Blackman had been blindsided by the Mean Street Posse in a 3 on 1 attack, leading to Shane McMahon winning the Hardcore Title. When Commissioner Foley then ordered Shane to defend the title against Blackman with the Posse banned from the arena, Shane desperately tried to lose the title, only for Foley to suspend the 24/7 rule temporarily. In the match, Shane ran from Blackman almost the entire match, only taking control when he managed to hit Blackman with a trash can lid. However Blackman eventually chased Shane up the Titantron, before forcing him to fall off through the stage, eventually leading Blackman to pin him to regain the title.
*Tazz d. Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero w/Chyna by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title The feud between Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero had expanded to include Intercontinental Champion Tazz, as both men attempted to wrestle the title away from the Human Suplex Machine. The match at Summerslam was highly competitve, with all three men having a chance to win at various points. Guerrero hit a Frogsplash on Benoit at the end and nearly won, only for Tazz to catch him with a T-Bone Suplex and then pin Latino Heat to retain.
*The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] d. The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] & Edge & Christian in a TLC Match to win the World Tag Team Titles The TLC match at Summerslam was considered an instant classic between these three teams, an expansion of their Triangle Ladder Match at Wrestlemania the previous April. In front of their hometown crowd, The Hardy Boyz were able to pull out the victory, with Jeff hitting a Swanton Bomb off a tall ladder through a table to the outside, followed by Matt knocking Christian off the ladder to grab the titles and regain the tag team championship.
*Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley d. The Rock, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Kane & The Undertaker by Pinfall in a Six Pack Challenge to Win the WWF Championship The Rock was faced with many challengers for the WWF Championship. Kane & The Undertaker were both seeking the title after their title shots had failed for various reasons. Chris Jericho was challenging as part of his continuing feud with Triple H, while Kurt Angle was engaged in a pseudo-love triangle with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley as well. All six men were thrown into a Six Pack Challenge by Commissioner Foley, and the match quickly turned into a free for all. Towards the end, The Rock hit everyone with a Rock Bottom and looked ready to pin Kurt Angle with the People's Elbow, only to be intercepted by Kane, who Chokeslammed the Champion to the outside. Kane was then attacked by Triple H who hit him with the Pedigree, only to have the pin broken up by Jericho. Kurt Angle then broke up a submission attempt by Y2J with an Angle Slam, only for the Olympic Hero to be nearly hit with the Last Ride. However Triple H came back in and hit Undertaker with a sledge hammer before tossing Angle out of the ring and then pinning the Phenom to regain the WWF Title.

WWF Unforgiven September 24, 2000 First Union Center Philadelphia, PA
*Eddie Guerrero w/Chyna d. Bad Ass Billy Gunn by Pinfall In a standard match, Eddie Guerrero defeated Bad Ass Billy Gunn after hitting a Frogsplash.
*The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] d. Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty], Road Dogg & K-Kwik, & Right to Censor [Charles Warrington & Bull Buchanan] w/Steven Richards by Pinfall In a standard Fatal Fourway Tag Match, The Dudley Boyz won via pinfall, after hitting a 3-D on Charles Warrington.
*Jacqueline w/The APA d. Trish Stratus w/T&A by Pinfall to Win the Women's Title After the initial title match on Raw between Trish Stratus and Jacqueline ended in a double countout, Commissioner Mick Foley ordered that a rematch be made for the Women's Title, this time with "Lumberjill" rules, with the APA and T&A operating as the prospective lumberjacks. Trish attempted several times to try and bail out on the match, only to be forced back in by Bradshaw and Faarooq, who handled Test and Albert. Despite Trish nearly winning with a stiff kick to the side of the temple, Jacqueline hit her Tornado DDT to pick up the victory and win the Women's Title.
*William Regal d. Al Snow by Pinfall to Win the European Title William Regal had debuted in the WWF shortly before Summerslam as "Europe's Goodwill Ambassador," a gimmick of a refined English gentleman. As a result, he took great offense to Al Snow being the European Champion, particularly when Snow paid homage to England in a humorous way, leading to this match. Regal was a well-scouted technical wrestler, but Snow was able to hold his own, nearly picking up the win with a Snow Plow. However, as Snow argued with the referee, William Regal snuck some brass knuckles out of his tights and nailed Snow in the head with them before hiding the knucks, then pinning Snow to win the European Championship.
*Stone Cold Steve Austin Returned Back at Survivor Series the previous year, Stone Cold Steve Austin had been run over, costing him nearly a year of his career in kayfabe (in reality, he had to have neck surgery to try and extend his career). Aside from being the Special Guest Enforcer at Wrestlemania 2000's main event, Austin hadn't been seen on WWF television since then. Austin however made his return at Unforgiven, determined to find the man who ran him down. Shane McMahon appeared when Austin came out, saying that Steve Blackman was the man who ran him over. When the Lethal Weapon came out to defend himself, Austin immediately attacked him and delivered a Stone Cold Stunner to him. However, he did the same to Shane, saying that everyone would be a target until he found the "son of a bitch who cost him a year of his life." After the celebration, Blackman was attacked in the entryway by Steven Richards, who pinned him to win the Hardcore Title.
*Sean Morally d. Tazz by Pinfall to Win the Intercontinental Title Sean Morally of the Right to Censor had won a shot at the dominant Intercontinental Champion by winning a battle royal on Raw. It looked as if Tazz would continue his run of dominance, as he controlled much of the match over the Censorship advocate. However, the shocking arrival of Raven to the WWF when the referee went down changed the outcome of the match, as Raven hit his Evenflow DDT to KO Tazz, allowing Morally to pin him as the ref came to, winning the IC Title in an upset.
*The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] d. Edge & Christian in a Steel Cage Match to Retain the World Tag Team Titles Edge & Christian had demanded another title shot following their TLC title loss to the Hardy Boyz, and again following a rematch on Raw between the two teams. The rematch one that was granted to them by Commissioner Foley, only with again the understanding that it would be their final title shot, and that the match would be a Steel Cage match. The match was a huge back and forth affair, involving an impressive spot of Jeff Hardy diving off the top of the cage onto the three other men. The Hardys eventually escaped the cage first in order to retain the titles.
*The Rock d. Chris Benoit by Pinfall The first ever meeting between The Rock and Chris Benoit on Raw had ended in a disqualification win for the Rabid Wolverine after the referee reversed the original decision. This led to a grudge match between the two. Benoit worked over The Rock's neck, trying to soften him up for the Crippler Crossface. He even nearly locked it in, only for The Rock to get to the ropes. In the end the People's Champion hit a Rock Bottom to pick up the victory in a hard fought match.
*Kurt Angle d. Kane & The Undertaker by Pinfall Three of the participants in the 6 Pack challenge at the previous months Summerslam met again in a Triple Threat match, with the winner receiving a WWF Title match at No Mercy. At first it seemed as if The Olympic Hero was at a distinct disadvantage, as the Brothers of Destruction teamed together to take down Angle. However Kurt picked his spot, and relied on a distraction from his "friend" Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley to hit Kane with an Angle Slam and pick up the victory, earning a title shot the next month.
*Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley d. Chris Jericho in a Last Man Standing Match to Retain the WWF Championship The feud between Triple H and Chris Jericho reached its crescendo in a Last Man Standing for the WWF Title. Both men beat the holy hell out of each other, seemingly trying to injure each other as much as they were trying to win the WWF Title. The newly crowned #1 contender Kurt Angle had made his way to ringside during the end of the match, nearly costing Triple H the match and his title. In the end though Triple H hit a Pedigree on Jericho on the steel steps, causing him to be knocked out and retaining his title. Afterwards though, Triple H and Angle stared each other down and began fighting with each other to close the show. Off-Camera Title Change: October 5: Bubba Ray Dudley d. Steven Richards for the Hardcore Title October 5: Hardcore Holly d. Bubba Ray Dudley for the Hardcore Title October 5: Steven Richards d. Hardcore Holly for the Hardcore Title October 9: Ivory d. Jacqueline to win the Women's Title October 9: Bradshaw d. Steven Richards for the Hardcore Title October 12: Bull Buchanan d. Bradshaw for the Hardcore Title October 12: Steven Richards d. Note: Yes, I am pretty much taking cues from Adam Blampied's rebooking of this angle (as others have done in their respective PPV rebooks on this board), though mine will play into a larger justification for a storyline in future events so...apologies I guess? WWF No MercyOctober 22, 2000Pepsi ArenaAlbany, NY *Raven d. Tazz by Disqualification At the previous month's Unforgiven Pay Per View, Raven had made his WWF debut by coming through the crowd and attacking the Human Suplex Machine, costing him the Intercontinental Title. Raven had claimed that Tazz in ECW had been a killer, and that the killer instinct had been lost and that he had been "defanged" by the WWF's corporate machine. Raven was seeking to unleash that killer mentality on the WWF, to help bring down the system. Tazz simply was looking for revenge against The Agitator. In the course of the match, Raven frustrated Tazz at every turn, trying to egg him on. This trend eventually succeeded, as Tazz locked Raven in the Tazzmission and refused to let go, even after the referee saw that Raven had been choked out. This led to Tazz being disqualified, giving Raven the win. As Tazz then fought with WWF officials and had to be restrained by security, Raven smiled as he stalked off to the back.
*William Regal d. D'Lo Brown by Pinfall to Retain the European Title After winning the European Title, William Regal immediately proclaimed himself as the greatest European Champion of all time. This naturally attracted the attention of D'Lo Brown, who had been a multiple time European Champion. In a non-title match that very night, D'Lo pinned Regal, earning himself a title match. In this match D'Lo seemingly had the match won after hitting a Sky High Slam on Regal, only narrowly missing a three count. Regal didn't waste time, throwing on his pair of brass knuckles and drilling D'Lo in the back of the head as Brown argued with the referee, before chucking the knucs back into his trunks. Regal then followed up with a butterfly suplex to ensure no questions and pinned D'Lo to retain the title.
*Steven Richards Emerged With the Hardcore Title Steven Richards had won the Hardcore Title with the explicit intentions of destroying the title, ensuring that the chaotic Hardcore matches of the Attitude era would cease forever. However this backfired on Richards, as the 24/7 title defense rule remained in effect, resulting in the leader of Right to Censor being ambushed regularly. Though Richards had always emerged with the Hardcore Title in tact, the No Mercy show saw the title change hands several times. Firstly, the APA attacked Right to Censor backstage, leading to Scotty 2 Hotty rolling up Steven Richards from behind and winning the title. Scotty's reign as champion would be short lived, as Perry Saturn attacked him with a mop, knocking him out and then pinning him. Backstage Saturn allowed himself to be pinned by Terri Runnels as a 3-month anniversary present, only for Terri to be attacked by women's champion Ivory, who then allowed herself to be pinned again by Richards to put the belt back where it began.
*Stone Cold Steve Austin d. Eddie Guerrero w/Chyna by Pinfall Since returning to the WWF, Stone Cold Steve Austin had made it his mission to find the man who had run him over at the Survivor Series the previous year. In one such interrogation, when he was targeting Billy Gunn, the former New Age Outlaw had implicated that Chyna had been the one to run Austin down. When Stone Cold confronted the 9th Wonder of the World, she couldn't account for her whereabouts at the time, leading to Austin attacking her. This before Commissioner Foley came out and said that Chyna wasn't responsible for the attack, as he could account for her whereabouts. Despite this, the beatdown naturally drew the ire of Chyna's boyfriend, Eddie Guerrero, who challenged Austin to the Rattlesnake's first official match since his return. Despite Guerrero's high flying offense giving Austin trouble, the Rattlesnake eventually won the match with a Stone Cold Stunner to Latino Heat. As Austin stalked off, the announcers made reference to the fact that Austin had received a note on Smackdown prior to No Mercy that he would get all of his answers that night.
*Chris Benoit d. The Rock by Knockout in a Brahma Bull Rope Match The night after Unforgiven, The Rock had challenged Triple H for the WWF Championship. He appeared close to regaining the title, when he was attacked by the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit (whom he had beaten the night before), resulting in The Game keeping the title. The Rock then challenged Benoit to a special type of match, called a "Brahma Bull Rope" match, which was essentially a dog collar match only with a bull rope and cowbell. Unable to separate from one another, both men used to the rope in an attempt to choke out their opponent, as well as utilizing the cowbell as a weapon. The Rock hit the Rock Bottom on the bell, but surprisingly only got a two count. Eventually Benoit hooked The Rock in a Crippler Crossface, using the rope to choke out the Rock. Though the People's Champion never tapped out, he did eventually Pass Out, causing the referee to stop the match and giving Benoit the huge upset victory.
*'Los Conquistadores' d. The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] by Pinfall to Win the World Tag Team Titles After losing their final title opportunity against The Hardy Boyz, both Edge and Christian claimed that they "no longer reeked of awesomeness" and thus were leaving the WWF to find themselves. At the same time however, a new team of gold-clad, apparent luchadores named "Los Conquisdatores" appeared on WWF television and entered into a winning streak, performing many of the same moves as Edge and Christian. Despite the pair obviously being the two former champions, Commissioner Foley was fooled when Edge and Christian surprisingly showed up in a non-title match between the Hardys and the Conquistadors, which gave "Uno" and "Dos" a non-title victory and a title shot at No Mercy. During the match, the Hardys appeared to dominate the Conquistadors, when the referee went down following a mistimed Poetry in Motion. As the Hardys looked to win, they were attacked by another Conqustador from under the ring, leading one of the legal men using the tag title belt as a weapon on Jeff, and then delivering Christian's Killswitch on the belt before disposing of the evidence. The referee then came to and counted the fall, giving the titles to the Conquistadors.
*Sean Morally d. Rikishi in a Steel Cage Match to Retain the Intercontinental Title Former IC Champion Rikishi attempted to wrestle the title away from the Right to Censor, challenging Sean Morally to a series of matches that always saw RTC interfere. This led to Commissioner Foley making a match between the two at No Mercy inside a Steel Cage to keep everyone else out of the ring. Rikishi nearly had the match won, before deciding to duplicate a famous move from many years earlier. He flew off the top of the cage ala Jimmy Snuka onto Don Muraco with a big splash, crushing Sean Morally in the process. However the splash proved counter productive, as it took Rikishi's only chance of winning the match away. As both men recovered, Sean was able to sneak through the door after Bull Buchanan appeared at ringside and handcuffed Rikishi to the steel bars from the outside, allowing the Censor to retain his title.
*The Brothers of Destruction [Kane & The Undertaker] d. The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] in a Tables Match Throughout the night, The Dudley Boyz had tried to hold a "Dudley Boy Table Invitational Match", inviting any tag team on the roster to fight them in a Tables Match. However no team was willing to step up to them, until the Dudleys encountered Kane & The Undertaker backstage. Both teams started brawling in the backstage area, eventually making their way to ringside while the Steel Cage from the previous match was still being disassembled. The match ended when Kane and The Undertaker each took one of the Dudleys and chokeslammed them through a separate announce table to win the impromptu match.
*Kurt Angle d. Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley by Pinfall in a No Disqualification Match to Win the WWF Championship After winning the #1 contendership to the WWF title at Unforgiven, the love triangle between Stephanie McMahon, Kurt Angle and Triple H had become increasingly uncomfortable, with Kurt even kissing an unconscious Stephanie on an episode of Smackdown. Eventually Stephanie broke off her friendship with the increasingly unhinged Olympic Hero, which caused Angle to snap and lock Stephanie in an Ankle Lock briefly, before he immediately apologized after realizing what he had done. This action incensed Triple H, who demanded that Angle make the match between he and Angle No Disqualification. Triple H proceeded to dominate the title match over Angle, until the very end when he looked like he would finish off Angle. However, at that moment, footage appears on the Titantron of Stone Cold Steve Austin watching CCTV footage of the night he was run over, suggesting that it was Triple H himself who had done the deed. While Helmsley begged off shaking his head, Austin ran down to ringside and beat the living hell out of the game, with several chair shots to the head and one final Stone Cold Stunner after running off. Angle then weakly draped one arm over the Game and pinned him, picking up the win and the WWF Title, as a bloody Olympic Hero celebrated while medical personnel dealt with Triple H.
Off-Camera Title Changes: October 23: 'Los Conquistadores', aka Edge & Christian, are stripped of the tag team titles after it is revealed they were the Conquistadors the entire time. However, Commissioner Foley vacates the titles instead of awarding them to the Hardys, due to allegations of favoritism levied by a returning Mr. McMahon October 23: Road Dogg d. Steven Richards by Pinfall for the Hardcore Title October 23: X-Pac d. Road Dogg for the Hardcore Title October 23: K-Kwik d. X-Pac for the Hardcore Title October 26: T&A [Test & Albert] defeat the Hardy Boyz in a one-night Tournament Final for the World Tag Team Titles October 26: Steven Richards d. K-Kwik for the Hardcore Title October 26: Crash Holly d. Steven Richards for the Hardcore Title November 6: Eddie Guerrero d. Sean Morally for the Intercontinental Title November 6: The Godfather d. WWF Survivor Series November 19, 2000 Ice Palace Tampa, FL
*The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley], Crash Holly & The Godfather d. Right to Censor [Steven Richards, Bull Buchanan, Sean Morally & Charles Warrington] in a Survivor Series Match Due to the nature of the Hardcore Title, several title changes occured within the context of this match. - D-Von Dudley d. Steven Richards by Pinfall - Sean Morally d. D-Von Dudley by Pinfall - The Godfather d. Sean Morally by Pinfall - Charles Warrington d. The Godfather by Pinfall - Crash Holly d. Charles Warrington by Pinfall - Crash Holly d. Bull Buchanan by Pinfall Survivors: Crash Holly & Bubba Ray Dudley After the match, Bubba Ray Dudley hit a Bubba Bomb on Crash through a table, pinning him to win the Hardcore Title.
*Eddie Guerrero d. Tazz w/Raven by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Surprisingly despite the brutal match at Backlash, it appeared that Tazz had fallen under some kind of alliance with Raven, saying that he had become soft in the WWF and was looking to reclaim some championship glory. Eddie Guerrero had regained the Intercontinental Title from Sean Morally on an episode of Raw, but was immediately choked out by Tazz, leading to this match. Unlike their first encounter in the summer, Eddie was at full health, and thus used his quickness to keep from getting caught by Tazz's suplexes. Raven's distraction on the outside turned the tide briefly, and Tazz nearly won the match when he partially hooked on the Tazzmission. Guerrero though managed to bridge through the sleeper hold by rebounding off the top rope, leading to him pinning Tazz and retaining his title, escaping before the Human Suplex Machine knew what hit him.
*Ivory d. Chyna by Referee Stoppage to Retain the Women's Title In the aftermath of Eddie Guerrero winning the Intercontinental Title, his girlfriend Chyna had been attacked and isolated by the Right to Censor, with Sean Morally & Bull Buchanan hitting a Spike Piledriver on the 9th Wonder of the World, injuring her neck. Against doctor's advice, Chyna came back early to challenge Ivory for the Women's Title, and was dominating the female member of RTC throughout the match. However, Chyna then attempted a handspring elbow into the corner and missed. The jostling caused her to crumble to the mat and hold her neck in pain. The referee immediately stopped the match and awarded the decision to Ivory, as Chyna was loaded onto a stretcher with a neck brace.
*Road Dogg & K-Kwik d. Too Cool [Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay] by Pinfall In a standard tag match, Road Dogg & K-Kwik defeated Too Cool in a match of mutual respect, as Road Dogg hit a Pumphandle Slam on Scotty 2 Hotty to pick up the win.
*Kurt Angle d. Stone Cold Steve Austin by Disqualification to Retain the WWF Championship The night after No Mercy, during a championship celebration by Kurt Angle, it was revealed by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley that the closed circuit footage that implicated her husband, Triple H, in running down Stone Cold Steve Austin had been doctored. The unedited footage instead showed that it was Kurt Angle who had run down the Rattlesnake instead. Austin immediately appeared and made a beeline for Kurt, who hightailed it out of the ring. Over the next several weeks Austin attempted to get his hands on the new WWF Champion, only to fail, until eventually Commissioner Foley told Austin he would receive a title shot at the Survivor Series, but only if the match had no additional stipulations to it, which Austin agreed to (after delivering a Stunner to Foley). During the match, Angle did everything in his power to get under the skin of the Texas Rattlesnake, and eventually the ruse worked as Austin refused to break off his attack on Angle in the corner, resulting in a disqualification. As Angle attempted to flee, Austin gave chase after him. In the parking lot, Austin was nearly run down again, this time by Angle's own brother Eric. This allowed Kurt to make his escape, Austin ripping Eric Angle out of his car, throwing him to the side and then giving chase out of the arena after the Olympic WWF Champion.
*Team McMahon [Chris Benoit, William Regal, Edge, Christian, Bad Ass Billy Gunn & X-Pac] d. Team Foley [The Rock, Rikishi, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Al Snow & Chris Jericho] in a 6 on 6 Survivor Series Match The night after No Mercy, Vince McMahon had made his return from his "marriage counseling" sessions with his wife Linda, and was ready to assume the day to day operations of running the WWF once again. He sought to relieve Mick Foley of his duties as Commissioner, due to Foley "showing favortism," but that was refuted by Linda. Vince also attempted to goad Foley into putting his job on the line in a match with him at Survivor Series, but Foley insisted that he had retired and was planning on staying retired. This eventually led to a compromise, where Foley and McMahon would each choose a team of 6 men for a Survivor Series match. If Foley's team won, he would remain commissioner, while if McMahon's team won, Foley would voluntarily resign the next night on Raw. - Matt Hardy d. Bad Ass Billy Gunn by Pinfall - X-Pac d. Al Snow by Pinfall - Jeff Hardy d. X-Pac by Pinfall - William Regal d. Matt Hardy by Pinfall - Christian d. Jeff Hardy by Pinfall - Christian d. The Rock by Pinfall (After Rikishi Turned on The Rock) - Rikishi was Counted Out (Intentionally) - Chris Jericho d. Christian by Submission - William Regal Was Disqualified - Chris Jericho d. Edge by Pinfall - Chris Benoit d. Chris Jericho by Pinfall Sole Survivor: Chris Benoit
*The Brothers of Destruction [Kane & The Undertaker] d. T&A [Test & Albert] w/Trish Stratus by Pinfall to Win the World Tag Team Titles After Edge & Christian were stripped of the tag team titles following the 'Los Conquistadores' ruse, a one night tournament was held on Smackdown to crown new tag team champions. This tournament was won by Test & Albert. However T&A would quickly begin feuding with Kane & The Undertaker (the latter of whom was celebrating a "decade of destruction" for being in the WWF for 10 years), leading to a tag title match at Survivor Series. Despite the best efforts of Trish Stratus, as well as Kane eating a Big Boot from Test that took him out of the match briefly, the Brothers were too much to handle, as Undertaker hit Albert with a Last Ride while Kane chokeslammed Test, hitting a double pin on the champions and winning the titles, sending the crowd home happy as they celebrated to end the show. Off-Camera Title Changes: November 20: Dean Malenko d. Lita for the Light Heavyweight Title November 23: Christian d. Bubba Ray Dudley for the Hardcore Title November 23: Bradshaw d. Christian for the Hardcore Title November 30: Raven d. Bradshaw for the Hardcore Title

WWF Rebellion December 2, 2000 Sheffield Arena Sheffield, England
*Raven & Tazz d. The APA [Bradshaw & Faarooq] by Pinfall In a match where Raven's Hardcore Title was also on the line, he and his "attack dog" Tazz defeated the APA after Raven hit Faarooq with an Evenflow DDT while Tazz had Bradshaw trapped in the Tazzmission.
*The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] & Lita d. Right to Censor [Steven Richards, Charles Warrington & Ivory] by Pinfall Lita had entered a feud with the Right to Censor, specifically Ivory, in an attempt to regain her Women's Title, leading to this six person Intergender Tag Match. The Hardy Boyz were able to fend off Steven Richards and Charles Warrington relatively easily, with Lita pinning the Women's Champion following a Moonsault, solidifying her position as the #1 contender for the title.
*Rikishi d. Chris Jericho by Pinfall At Survivor Series, Rikishi had shocked everyone by turning on his cousin the Rock and the rest of Team Foley, causing Chris Jericho to be left all alone in a 4 on 1 situation. Though Jericho managed to eliminate Edge, Christian & William Regal, he was eventually defeated by Chris Benoit, leading to Commissioner Foley's removal from power in the WWF. Jericho sought revenge against Rikishi in this match, and nearly had it when he managed to lock Rikishi in the Walls of Jericho. However Rikishi managed to get to the ropes, and a timely distraction from Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley on the outside allowed Rikishi to hit his Sitout Piledriver to pick up the victory.
*Eddie Guerrero d. Dean Malenko by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title In a standard but highly competitive title match (though only Guerrero's championship was on the line), Eddie Guerrero defeated Dean Malenko with a Frogsplash to retain his title. After the match, Guerrero was attacked by Chris Benoit, who was targeting the IC Title once again.
*Edge & Christian d. The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] in a Tables Match As a reward for serving on Team McMahon at the Survivor Series, Edge & Christian would be given a future title shot at the World Tag Team Championships. However that shot was in jeopardy when Christian, in an attempt to keep the Hardcore Title he had just won, inadvertently spilled coffee on Mr. McMahon, leading to him making this Tables Match with the Dudley Boyz for the #1 contendership. The Dudleys seemingly had the match won after they put Edge through a table with 3-D, however the referee had been knocked out instead. This led to Christian hitting both of the Dudleys with steel chairs, sending Bubba Ray crashing through a table to the outside just as the referee came to, awarding the match to Edge and Christian.
*The Brothers of Destruction [Kane & The Undertaker] d. Right to Censor [Sean Morally & Bull Buchanan], Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] & T&A [Test & Albert] w/Trish Stratus by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles The Brothers of Destruction defended their tag titles against three separate teams in this match, with the disadvantage being they didn't have to be pinned to lose the titles. Like many Fatal Fourway matches, it ultimately turned into a melee fracass with The Undertaker eventually scoring the win by drilling Sean Morally of the Right to Censor with the Last Ride.
*William Regal d. Al Snow by Submission to Retain the European Title In a standard title match, William Regal successfully retained his European Title after locking Al Snow in the Regal Stretch, gaining the submission victory.
*The Rock d. Stone Cold Steve Austin by Pinfall With Vince McMahon back in control of the day to day operations of the WWF as Commissioner Foley was removed from power, McMahon set about setting his two most common adversaries against one another as The Rock faced Stone Cold Steve Austin in a one on one match for the first time in over a year and a half. To the shock of the UK crowd, there was no outside interference, and The Rock was able to gain a victory over Austin with the Rock Bottom followed by a People's Elbow. Austin slinked to the back as The Rock celebrated, frustration evident on his face.
*Triple H w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley d. Kurt Angle by Disqualification [Angle Retains the WWF Title] Triple H had made his return the night after Survivor Series, not only targeting Stone Cold Steve Austin for the beatdown he had suffered at No Mercy, but also Kurt Angle for orchestrating the framejob he had performed on him to win the WWF title in the first place. The Game went after Angle with reckless abandon, and more than once it looked like Triple H's temper would cost him the title match. However it was Angle who would eventually be disqualified, as Steve Austin made his second appearance of the night, intending to hit Angle with a steel chair, only for Angle to duck and for Austin to hit Triple H instead. Angle then delivered an Angle Slam to Austin, before he and Triple H, briefly united, put the boots to the rattlesnake. The Rock made the save, chasing off the Game and the Olympic Hero. Rocky and Austin then looked at each other and shook hands tensely before celebrating in the ring with beers tossed to Austin, though there was a distant look in Stone Cold's eyes as the show closed.

WWF Armageddon December 10, 2000 Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center Birmingham, AL
*"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman d. William Regal by Pinfall to Win the European Title In the wake of Mick Foley being forced to resign as WWF Commissioner, Vince McMahon appointed a new commissioner to help him in the running of the company in the form of European Champion William Regal. However, Vince did make clear that Regal would still have to compete in matches, defending his title on occasion, leading to this match. Regal specifically chose Blackman due to his experience in hardcore wrestling, automatically assuming he'd get himself disqualified. Blackman though used his submission credentials and held his own against Regal. Late in the match, Regal attempted to use his "Power of the Punch" to KO Blackman. However The Lethal Weapon caught him with a pump kick right to the head, stunning Regal and allowing Blackman to pin him quickly and win the European Title in an upset.
*The Dudley Boyz [Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley] d. Raven & Tazz, The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy], Too Cool [Grandmaster Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty], Right to Censor [Bull Buchanan & Sean Morally], T&A [Test & Albert], The APA [Bradshaw & Faarooq] & Road Dogg & K-Kwik in a Tag Team Turmoil Match 8 teams competed in this gauntlet match, with Road Dogg & K-Kwik starting off against the Hardy Boyz. Over the course of the match, it came down to The Dudley Boyz vs. Raven and Tazz, with the Dudley's taking advantage of miscommunication between the Hardcore duo led to the Dudleys hitting Raven with a 3-D and pinning him, earning a title shot at the Royal Rumble. After the match, Tazz attacked Raven, ending their short-lived alliance.
*Lita d. Ivory by Disqualification [Ivory Retains the Women's Title] After Lita had pinned Ivory in a pair of non-title encounters (including a six person tag the previous month at Rebellion), Lita challenged the Right to Censor member for her title. It appeared she would win the title as well, after hitting a Twist of Fate on Ivory. However a distraction from Steven Richards on the outside allowed Charles Warrington to come in the ring and break up the pin, while handing the Women's Title belt to Ivory. Ivory used the title belt, but the referee managed to turn around at the right time, disqualifying Ivory but keeping her as champion.
*Chris Benoit d. Eddie Guerrero by Submission to Win the Intercontinental Title The feud between Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero had reignited following Survivor Series, as Benoit attempted to wrestle the Intercontinental Title away from Latino Heat. Like all of their previous matches, the competition was fierce between the two familiar rivals, with Eddie nearly pulling out the victory after hitting a Frogsplash to the outside. In the end though it was that move that cost Eddie, as he injured his arm performing it. Benoit zeroed in on the injured arm and locked Guerrero in the Crossface, picking up the submission victory and regaining the IC Title.
*The Rock d. Rikishi by Pinfall At the Survivor Series, Rikishi had unexpectedly turned on The Rock, leading to the elimination of the Great One from the 6 on 6 Survivor Series match and helping cost Mick Foley his job. Rikishi justified his actions, saying that The Rock had been handed all of his opportunities while other members of the Samoan Family had to scratch and claw there way to the top. In this grudge match, The Rock fought with a bit more anger in his offense than usual, and was surprisingly able to lift the 400 pound Rikishi for big power moves. Rikishi slowed the match down after catching The Rock with a sidekick to the face, seemingly concussing him, but later missed a Banzai Drop in the corner. The Rock then finished off Rikishi with a Rock Bottom followed by the People's Elbow for the win.
*Crash Holly Emerged With the Hardcore Title Hardcore Holly began the night as Hardcore Champion, and fended off several challenges, specifically from his erstwhile cousin Crash. Holly's luck finally ran out at the hands of Kaientai of all people, as Funaki and Taka teamed up to take down the champion, with Funaki scoring the deciding pinfall. As Taka and Funaki then fought over the title themselves, Crash came in and rolled up Funaki to finally regain the title and escape Armageddon as hardcore champion once again.
*Chris Jericho d. X-Pac by Submission Two men who had up and down years were Chris Jericho and X-Pac, and both men were looking to reestablish themselves as main event players with momentum going into the new year. However it would be Y2J who would big up the big win, making X-Pac tap out to the Walls of Jericho.
*The Brothers of Destruction [Kane & The Undertaker] d. Edge & Christian by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles Edge & Christian had earned their tag title shot at The Brothers of Destruction (or rather had been given the title shot) as a result of being a part of Team McMahon at the Survivor Series. Unfortunately for them they ran headlong into the dominance of The Brothers of Destruction. While Edge and Christian held their own against The Undertaker (whom they had attacked on Sunday Night Heat leading into the event, delivering a Con-Chair-To to the Phenom and seemingly concussing him), they fell short against the Big Red Machine who eventually pinned both Edge & Christian after hitting them with dual chokeslams to retain the titles.
*Kurt Angle d. Stone Cold Steve Austin & Triple H by Pinfall inside Hell in a Cell to Retain the WWF Championship The night after Survivor Series, Kurt Angle sought relief from the pursuit of Stone Cold Steve Austin, appealing to Vince McMahon to fire Austin. McMahon declined to do so, and brought back his son-in-law Triple H, who sought revenge not only against Austin for attacking him back in October, but also Angle for setting him up in the first place. This would lead to a Triple Threat match inside Hell in a Cell with both men gunning for Angle's title. The Olympic Hero was set to simply do everything he could to survive, playing Triple H and Austin against one another as best he could while picking his spots. The end came after Austin hit Triple H with a 2nd Stone Cold Stunner and appeared ready to pick up the win and regain the WWF title, only for Angle to come in at the last minute and break up the fall, hitting Austin with an Angle Slam and then pinning Triple H to retain his title, escaping the Cell immediatly afterwards. The show ended with a bloody Angle clutching his championship belt, having survived yet again.
