WWE Extreme Rules July 14, 2019 Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, PA
*Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher d. Finn Balor in an Extreme Rules Match to Win the Intercontinental Title Tired of his championship failures, Jinder Mahal had resolved that if he didn't capture the Intercontinental Championship against Finn Balor he would not only leave the WWE, he would leave the United States for his native India forever. Fortunately for Mahal, the match had the stipulation of being conducted under Extreme Rules, giving him an advantage with Indus Sher in his corner. Veer Mahan and Sanga liberally interfered on behalf of Mahal, though Balor would eventually take them out with a steel chair shot to the back. The distraction though would give Mahal the opening to hit the Khalass and pick up the upset win, finally recapturing gold in the WWE.
*Keith Lee d. Bobby Lashley w/MVP by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title After dispatching Roman Reigns the previous month, thanks to help from his new manager MVP, Bobby Lashley set his sights on the United States Championship held by Keith Lee. MVP had offered to "take Lee under his wing" if the Limitless One would lay down for the Almighty, but Lee outright refused. Lashley controlled much of the match, using his veteran ability to offset the younger champion, but Lee's perseverence was hard to overcome. After a ref bump, Lashley locked Lee in his Full Nelson finisher, only for Roman Reigns to come out of the crowd and attack the Almighty, laying him out with a Spear. Lee then hit a splash from the second rope for good measure as the ref came too, getting the upset victory and retaining his title.
*The New Day [Xavier Woods & Big E] d. The House of Black [Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles Aleister Black had commissioned his disciples in the House of Black to gain gold for the faction, telling them to take on The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Titles. While Blake and Murphy put up a good fight, in the end the experience of the New Day was too much to overcome, as Woods hit Blake with the Limit Break Elbow to pick up the win. After the match, Aleister Black excommunicated Blake and Murphy with a Black Mass to each of them, leaving in frustration.
*AJ Styles d. Daniel Bryan by Submission to Earn a WWE Championship Match After Daniel Bryan failed to capture the WWE Title at Backlash, WWE co-director Stephanie McMahon neglected to grant him another title shot automatically, instead forcing him to face the winner of a one night tournament to crown the new #1 contender. AJ Styles won this tournament on Smackdown, leading to this match between two former rivals. Bryan and Styles traded close falls, with Bryan working over Styles' neck to set up for one of his many submission finishers. However, it would be Styles who would score the submission victory in an upset, locking Bryan in the Calf Crusher and getting the Eco-Warrior to tap out.
*Becky Lynch d. Lacey Evans in a Strap Match to Retain the WWE Women's Championship After Lacey Evans and Dolph Ziggler had defeated Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a Mixed Tag Match at Backlash, the two principles were granted title shots at their respective champions at Extreme Rules. The match between Lynch and Evans was made a Strap Match per Evans' request, as she tried to out think Lynch, who was clearly the better technical wrestler than she was. Evans attempted to touch all 4 corners of the ring in quick succession, especially after hitting her Knockout Punch finisher the Women's Right, but Lynch was able to stop her from touching the 4th turnbuckle and hit her with a Manhandle Slam, getting the victory shortly afterwards.
*Drew McIntyre & Sheamus d. The Club [Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson] by Pinfall After months of lack of success, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus had seemingly renewed their partnership from several years prior when they were aligned with William Regal, forming a new tag team together. Their first major test was against former tag champions Gallows and Anderson. Whatever misfortunes that Sheamus and McIntyre had been dealing with in recent months had seemingly evaporated, as they were able to beat back the club, with Sheamus hitting Anderson with a Brogue Kick to pick up the win.
*Kofi Kingston d. Samoa Joe by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship Samoa Joe cashed in his opportunity at a WWE Championship shot against Kofi Kingston that he had earned the previous month at Backlash here, and early on it looked like Joe would completely dominate the champion. Kofi didn't have an answer for the unique offense that Joe possessed, and Joe seemingly had the match won when he locked in the Coquina Clutch early on. But Kofi was able to somehow fight out of the hold and pick up the pace of the match, hitting several high risk moves before going for the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi missed the move, giving Joe an opening to try a Muscle Buster. Kofi however again fought out of the move, climbing to the top rope and hitting a top rope Code Red for the surprise pinfall and upset victory, keeping his title reign in tact.
*Bayley d. Charlotte Flair & Naomi in a Triple Threat Match to Retain the Women's World Championship After potentially screwing both Charlotte Flair and Naomi out of the Women's World Title in recent weeks, Bayley was forced to face both women in a Triple Threat match for the title. in typical fashion for a triple threat match, the two challengers started off targeting the champion before focusing on each other, while Bayley just tried her best to stay relevant and in the mix. In the end Charlotte had locked Naomi in the Figure 8, and the Glow Goddess appeared ready to tap, when Bayley hit an elbow from the second rope to break the submission. She then hit Naomi with the Rose Plant to pick up the win and retain her title.
*Seth Rollins d. Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Dolph Ziggler faced Seth Rollins for the World Title, having chosen to hold the match as a Ladder Match. Ziggler tried to capitalize on the injured knee that Rollins had been dealing with for several weeks, wrenching it back in the ladder a couple of times and seemingly making it near impossible for the Architect to climb the ladder to success. However Rollins was able to persevere and, largely hobbling on one leg, beat Ziggler to the top of a ladder and threw him off the top through a table that had been set up, before grabbing the World Heavyweight Championship and successfully retaining his title to close the show.

NXT Takeover: Toronto August 10, 2019 Scotiabank Arena Toronto, Ontario, Canada
*Matt Riddle d. Kyle O'Reilly w/Bobby Fish by Pinfall Matt Riddle had challenged North American Champion Roderick Strong to a title match, following Strong besting him in the A Bracket of the 2019 Warrior Classic. However, the champion had told the former MMA star that he would have to defeat Kyle O'Reilly to earn a shot at the North American Title. O'Reilly had the advantage of Bobby Fish in his corner as well, but it wasn't enough to overcome the unique athletics of Riddle, who hit the Floating Bro to pick up the win.
*WALTER w/Imperium d. Velveteen Dream by Pinfall The Ring General WALTER had continued his crusade against any character he deemed to be unworthy to compete on his "sacred mat", with his next target being the flamboyant Velveteen Dream. WALTER continued his undefeated streak in NXT easily besting the Dream with a Stack Up Powerbomb.
*The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] & Bianca Belair d. War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] & Sarah Logan by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The feud between the Street Profits and War Raiders had expanded to include the Raiders "valkyrie", Sarah Logan, as well as the EST of NXT, Bianca Belair, leading to this unique six person match where the NXT Tag Team Titles would be on the line. While the Vikings of NXT had been seemingly unstoppable, and dealt with the Profits to a stalemate, the weak link did turn out to be Logan, as Bianca caught Logan off the top rope and delivered a Kiss of Death to her, pinning her and giving the Profits the NXT Tag Titles by default.
*Pete Dunne d. Drew Gulak by Pinfall to Win the International Championship Despite being exiled from British Strong Style, The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne was able to return to his winning ways and regain championship gold, as he defeated International Champion Drew Gulak with a Bitter End.
*Roderick Strong d. Damien Priest to Retain the North American Title and Win the 2019 Warrior Invitational The 2019 version of the Warrior Invitational Tournament came down to North American Champion Roderick Strong and relative newcomer Damien Priest. To spice things up, NXT General Manager ordered that the match between the two would be not only for the tournament crown, but for Strong's North American Title as well. Priest's power and strength were difficult for the challenger to overcome at first. Strong however was eventually able to use his speed and experience to overcome Priest and eventually hit the Death by Heartache to pick up the win and retain his title.
*Johnny Gargano d. Adam Cole by Pinfall in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match to Retain the NXT Championship Undisputed Era leader Adam Cole had been granted one final title shot against Johnny Gargano by Johnny Wrestling himself, as he looked to finish off his rival once and for all inside a violent Barbed Wire Steel Cage. The match would prove to be a bloody affair, with both men busted open at various points. Cole nearly got the win after hitting two Last Shots back to back, but Gargano somehow managed to kick out. In the end, Gargano pulled out a Top Rope Brainbuster followed by a moonsault to pick up the win and title retention, although medical personnel came out to attend to both men after the bloodbath.
*Rhea Ripley d. Shayna Baszler by Pinfall to Win the NXT Women's Championship The nearly unbeatable Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler, put the NXT Women's Title on the line against Rhea Ripley, in what was advertised as Ripley's one and only shot at the gold. Baszler controlled much of the match as she normally did, also relying on help from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir for aid. This help was counteracted by Dakota Kai and Toni Storm interfering on Ripley's behalf, making the match a one on one affair. Ripley eventually battled out of the Kirafuda Clutch and hit the Riptide on Baszler to pick up the win, becoming NXT Women's Champion to close the show.

WWE Summerslam August 11, 2019 Scotiabank Arena Toronto, Ontario, Canada
*Keith Lee d. Bobby Roode by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Bobby Roode had returned from the injured list to WWE, and had immediately targeted United States Champion Keith Lee in an attempt to recapture championship glory. While Roode's veteran savvy was enough to give him the edge early on, the unique blend of power and agility displayed by the Limitless One was more than enough to handle the Glorious Roode, as Lee finished him off with a Spirit Bomb to retain his title.
*Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher d. Ricochet w/Rey & Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Former NXT sensation Ricochet had made his debut on the main roster, appearing as a guest of Rey and Dominik Mysterio on an episode of Raw. His appearance raised the ire of Intercontinental Champion Jinder Mahal, leading to a non-title match which Ricochet won. The rematch for the title was seemingly heading in the same direction, with the Mysterios on the outside to provide backup to block the interference of Indus Sher. However this fighting on the outside would provide the distraction necessary for Andrade, who had been feuding with the Mysterios, to rush in and hit Ricochet with a Hammerlock DDT. Mahal then made the cover and got the three count, getting the quick title retention.
*The House of Black [Aleister Black & AOP] d. Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus by Pinfall Following Aleister Black's dismissal of Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake from the House of Black, he had instead aligned himself with the Authors of Pain. AOP were feuding with the newly reformed team of Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, who sought help from Randy Orton to take on Black and his entourage in a six man tag. Despite the star power on the side of the faces, the teamwork of the House of Black was hard to overcome, leading to Black getting the upset over Orton after he fought out of an RKO and connected with Black Mass out of nowhere to pick up the win.
*Sami Zayn d. Kevin Owens by Pinfall In the midst of their feud with Bray Wyatt earlier in the year, the seeds of dissent had been sown between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Playing on their past history of Owens betraying Sami, Zayn took the initiative this time and turned on Owens "before Kevin could turn on him." This led to a one on one match between the two men that quickly became more ferocious than most had been expecting. In a bit of a shocking twist, it was Zayn who proved the underhanded of the two, hitting a blatant low blow behind the referee's back after failing to put away Owens any other way before following up wiht a Helluva Kick in the corner to pick up the win.
*Ember Moon d. Bayley by Pinfall to Win the Women's World Championship Ember Moon had earned a shot at the Women's World Champion by winning a Battle Royal on Smackdown, with the self-professed "role model" not taking the former NXT Women's Champion seriously. This would be to Bayley's detriment, as Ember Moon came out of the gate early on, nearly getting an early pin with a massive top rope cross body. Bayley did manage to slow the match down briefly, but Ember Moon eventually turned the tide again, before hitting the Eclipse and seemingly getting the clean win. However, Bayley's foot was clearly underneath the bottom rope, which the referee had missed. Despite Bayley's protests, Ember Moon remained the declared victor, with Bayley seizing the Women's World Title belt and then laying out Ember Moon with it, before running through the crowd with the title belt still in her possession.
*Seth Rollins & Cesaro Wrestled to a No Contest [Rollins Retains the World Heavyweight Title] The World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and the former champion Cesaro were set to have a rematch of their all time classic match from Wrestlemania 35 at Summerslam. The two seemingly picked up right where they had left off in April, but sadly the combination wouldn't be allowed to have a conclusive winner, as the match would be interrupted by both Dolph Ziggler and his on-again/off-again tag partner, Bobby Roode. Ziggler and Roode would lay out both Rollins and Cesaro, leaving the match a No Contest.
*Becky Lynch d. Nia Jax w/Tamina Snuka by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Championship The women's tag team of the Island Dynasty, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka, had teamed up to try and take the Women's Championship from Becky Lynch. Jax had dominated The Man on two matches on Raw, but had failed to win the title due to countout or disqualification stipulations both times. In the end, Jax was unable to capitalize a third time (partially due to Snuka being ejected from ringside early on in the match). Lynch eventually hit a Manhandle Slam from the Second Rope to get the pin on the Annihilator, retaining her title.
*Bray Wyatt d. AJ Styles by Disqualification For several weeks the creepy Bray Wyatt had been targeting AJ Styles, playing mind games with the Phenomenal One by targeting his family. This even included a vignette where Wyatt's kids show "The Firefly Fun House" "aired" on the TV for AJ's children. This would lead to a match at Summerslam where Styles was clearly out to try and hurt Wyatt (who was appearing in his less threatening "TV host" persona as opposed to The Fiend). This would ultimately lead to Styles getting himself disqualified after refusing to follow the referee's instructions, as both he and Wyatt brawled out into the crowd.
*Charlotte Flair d. Trish Stratus by Submission Trish Stratus had initially been announced as the host of Summerslam in her home town of Toronto Canada, but this was set aside when the Hall of Famer was challenged by one of the preeminent female stars of the day, Charlotte Flair. The Queen and Trish had a surprisingly equal, back and forth match, despite Trish's inactivity over the preceding decade. Still, Charlotte won the generational clash by Submission with the Figure-8, while Trish received a standing ovation from the hometown crowd.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. Kofi Kingston w/The New Day by Pinfall to Win the WWE Championship (Money in the Bank Cash-In) Shinsuke Nakamura had appeared to confront WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, but had neglected to cash-in his Money in the Bank Briefcase in an opportune time. Instead, through his manager/interpreter Paul Heyman, Nakamura announced that he would cash in at Summerslam, as he was supremely confident that he could defeat the fan favorite champion. This arrogance would nearly cost the King of Strong Style, as Kingston hit a Trouble in Paradise early on for a two count. Nakamura would rally back though after a back and forth matchup, which saw Kingston make a comeback near the end and even kick out of a Boma Ye. In the end though, Heyman would resort to cheating, as he tried to grab a steel chair, only to be intercepted by the New Day. The distraction would give Nakamura time to hit Kingston with a Red Mist in the face, blinding him, and then hitting a second Boma Ye to pick up the win and regain the WWE Championship.
*Roman Reigns & John Cena d. Bobby Lashley & Braun Strowman w/MVP by Pinfall The feud between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley had become more intense with the addition of Braun Strowman to the mix, who turned on Reigns during a tag match on Raw and became the newest client under the managerial services of MVP. Reigns found a new tag partner to take on the two monsters, soliciting help from John Cena himself. The super team was down early, as Strowman took out Cena and left Reigns to fend for himself in a 2 on 1 advantage. Cena would eventually get the hot tag though and take down Lashley, hitting him with an AA for a near fall. Strowman would again try to clean house, only to be Speared through a barricade on the outside by Reigns. Cena would then pin Lashley following an Avalanche AA, giving the two generational talents a big win to send the crowd home happy to close the show.

WWE Clash of Champions September 15, 2019 Spectrum Center Charlotte, NC
*Bobby Lashley w/MVP d. Keith Lee by Submission to Win the United States Title Despite losing to Roman Reigns and John Cena at Summerslam, Bobby Lashley returned to prominence by continuing his feud with Keith Lee, this time over the United States Title. The two big hoss fighters had a hard hitting match, marred by the interference from MVP on the outside. Lee dispatched the manager with a huge tackle that sent him flying over the barricade and into the first row, but the distraction gave Lashley the chance to Spear Lee on the outside into the steel steps. Lashley then tossed the champion back into the ring and locked in the Hurt Lock, a powerful Full Nelson, to pick up the submission and win the US Title.
*Drew McIntyre & Sheamus d. AOP [Akam & Rezar] w/Aleister Black by Pinfall to Win the WWE Tag Team Titles The team of McIntyre and Sheamus had continued their feud with the House of Black, challenging the Authors of Pain for the WWE Tag Team Titles. AOP took control early on by isolating McIntyre, nearly getting a pin after Aleister Black interjected himself with a DDT on the outside to the Scottish Warrior. McIntyre was able to kick out and make the tag to Sheamus, who cleaned house and set up Akam for a Brogue Kick. Black came in from a different angle to try and force a DQ, but was taken out by a desperate Claymore from McIntyre, allowing Sheamus to hit he Brogue Kick and pick up the win, giving Sheamus and McIntyre the tag team titles.
*AJ Styles "Won" the Firefly Rules Match versus Bray Wyatt The feud between AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt had resulted in an inconclusive brawl at Summerslam, leading to Styles challenging Wyatt to a No Disqualification Match at Clash of Champions. Wyatt countered with the notion that the match would be under "Firefly Rules", which Styles hastily accepted. The ring was essentially dressed up to be a living version of the set of the Firefly Funhouse, and various real life portrayals of the puppets there in (Mercy the Vulture, Huskers the Pig, etc). Styles was beaten down only to be confronted by the ever creepy Wyatt. Styles fought back though, and Wyatt said to AJ "You Pass" before disappearing along with all his puppets. A battered AJ then stared at the Tron, wondering what had happened.
*Becky Lynch d. Natalya by Submission to Retain the WWE Women's Championship Natalya had become the latest woman to challenge Becky Lynch for the Women's Championship, earning a title shot in a triple threat match on Smackdown. The veteran tried her best against Lynch, who had been nearly unstoppable since winning the title at Wrestlemania, but Lynch pulled out a victory again as she got the submission win with the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match though, Lynch was attacked by the Women's Tag Team Champions of Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan, with the former eyeing Lynch's title as they left the ring after the assault.
*Kevin Owens d. Jinder Mahal by Disqualification [Jinder Retains Intercontinental Title] Despite losing to Sami Zayn at Summerslam, Kevin Owens had rebounded by becoming the #1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship, challenging the unlikely champion Jinder Mahal for the gold. Making matters worse for the Modern Day Maharajah was that Indus Sher had been barred from ringside by WWE co-director Shane McMahon, giving Owens a fair shake at the belt, or so it seemed. Owens hit the Stunner and was seemingly on his way to winning the title, only for the referee to be pulled out by Sami Zayn, who had been hiding under the ring. Sami then ran out through the crowd as the referee disqualified Mahal, giving Owens the victory but keeping the belt with Jinder.
*Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode d. Seth Rollins & Cesaro by Pinfall After Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode had interrupted the Summerslam rematch between Seth Rollins and Cesaro, the two former rivals were compelled to tag together to face the two interlopers. This would proof to be impossible though, as Rollins and Cesaro couldn't coexist, to the point that the World Heavyweight Champion abandoned the Swiss Superman, leaving him to eat a Superkick from Ziggler and a Glorious DDT from Roode, as Dolph and Bobby picked up the win.
*Bayley d. Ember Moon by Pinfall to Retain the Women's World Championship The previous month at Summerslam saw Ember Moon shock the world by defeating Bayley for the Women's World Championship. It was not without controversy, though, as Bayley's feet were clearly under the ropes and the referee missed it. A rematch was scheduled on an episode of Smackdown, which Bayley won by getting additional leverage off the ropes to regain the title. To stop the controversy, Charlotte Flair was put in place as the Special Guest Referee. Bayley objected to this, arguing with the former champion whenever applicable. These distractions gave Ember Moon an early advantage. However, Bayley had help from a returning Sasha Banks, who came out of the crowd and hit Ember Moon with the Women's World Title Belt on the outside. Bayley then stopped distracting Charlotte and brought Ember Moon back into the ring, hitting her with a Bayley-to-Belly and getting the win. Sasha then appeared and handed the belt to her "bestie" as Charlotte realized what had happened as the two ran off.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. Kofi Kingston w/The New Day in a Steel Cage Match to Retain the WWE Title Following his loss at Summerslam, Kofi Kingston cashed in his rematch against Nakamura for Clash of the Champions. However, Paul Heyman demanded that the match be a Steel Cage Match to keep the New Day out of the equation. This had the additional effect of keeping the King of Strong Style's agent out of the mix as well. Kingston and Nakamura had an even matchup throughout, with neither man able to get a lengthy advantage. However, the match turned when Brock Lesnar suddenly returned, seeking revenge against Nakamura, continuing their feud from Wrestlemania and onwards. Lesnar broke down the door to the Cage and attacked Nakamura, only to be confronted by Kofi. Lesnar wouldn't listen to Kofi and simply F5'd him, which brought in Xavier Woods and Big E. As The New Day fought with Lesnar, Heyman snuck into the cage and brought Nakamura out of the ring, allowing Shinsuke to leave with the title while Lesnar fumed in the ring to close the show.

WWE Hell in a Cell October 6, 2019 Golden 1 Center Sacramento, CA
*The Fiend d. AJ Styles by Submission in a Hell in a Cell Match After AJ Styles had "defeated" The Fiend in the Firefly Rules match at Clash of Champions, he had demanded what Bray Wyatt meant when he said he had "passed." Wyatt, in his usual cryptic fashion, had said that he was not worth playing with anymore, and that any further actions would invite "him" to come out and play. Styles didn't like this answer and went after Wyatt, only for the kids host to disappear. The following week on Raw, The Fiend showed up and assaulted the Phenomenal One, leading to a Hell in a Cell match between the two. Styles threw everything he could at the Fiend, including a metal toolbox from under the ring, but none of it kept him down for long. In the end, the supernatural and indestructible Fiend locked in the Mandible Claw on Styles and got the technical submission victory. After the match, the lights went down, and then both the Fiend and Styles were gone when the lights came back up.
*Bobby Lashley d. Keith Lee & Roman Reigns by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Bobby Lashley faced off against both of his rivals from over the summer in Keith Lee and Roman Reigns, with his manager MVP barred from ringside, giving the champion even less of a possible advantage going into the match. Reigns and Lee both had a hoss fight with the champion, but the odds were evened out when Braun Strowman came to ringside, taking out Reigns and allowing Lashley to hit a massive Spear on Lee to pick up the pinfall victory and retain the title.
*Drew McIntyre & Sheamus d. The Club [Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles Gallows & Anderson had promised to reverse the bad fortunes they had been under in recent months, looking to regain tag team gold from the newer team of Drew McIntyre and Sheamus. Despite their best efforts though, The Club would find themselves frustrated yet again as they were beaten by the new champions, with Gallows being hit by a Claymore Kick from McIntyre for the relatively easy victory.
*Rey Mysterio d. Kevin Owens, Mustafa Ali, Sami Zayn, Andrade & Ricochet in a 6 Pack Challenge to Earn a Shot at the Intercontinental Championship Jinder Mahal was at ringside with Indus Sher, watching the 6 pack challenge take place for a shot at his Intercontinental Championship. The match would prove to be a spot fest, with several men taking themselves and everyone else out with big dives off the top rope. The match would come down to Andrade and Rey Mysterio, with Andrade attempting a Hammerlock DDT, only for Rey to fight out and headscissor Andrade into position for a 619, which he hit. Mysterio then hit a Frogsplash for the victory. After the match though, Mysterio was attacked and beaten down by Indus Sher and Jinder Mahal, only to be saved by his son Dominick with a steel chair.
*Seth Rollins d. Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode & Cesaro in a Fatal Fourway Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship After weeks of feuding between the four men (or rather, Rollins, Cesaro and the team of Ziggler & Roode), WWE co-director Triple H made a Fatal Fourway match for the World Heavyweight Title at Hell in a Cell, much to the annoyance of the champion who would not need to be involved in the decision to lose the title. Despite this, Rollins was able to pick his spot well, waiting until Cesaro hit Ziggler with a Zurich Bomb and was seemingly close to regaining the World Title, before tossing him out of the ring and then pinning Ziggler himself, effectively escaping with the World Heavyweight Title in tact.
*Bayley & Sasha Banks d. Charlotte Flair & Ember Moon by Pinfall Sasha Banks had returned at Clash of the Champions, helping Bayley successfully defend the Women's World Championship against Ember Moon, despite the presence of special guest referee Charlotte Flair in the match. The two BFF's teamed against Flair and Moon, and the inexperience of the latter showed up with miscommunication during the match, but Flair's athleticism was able to turn the tide in their favor. Flair locked in the Figure 8 on Banks at one point, but Bayley hit an Elbow from the top to break up the submission, before beginning to brawl with Moon on the outside. While the referee tried to break that up, Sasha grabbed a pair of brass knuckles that Bayley had slipped her, using them to knock out Charlotte and then pin the Queen to pick up the victory.
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] d. Heavy Machinery [Tucker & Otis] by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles Heavy Machinery finally got a one on one tag title shot against The Usos at Hell in a Cell, but they weren't prepared for one of the premiere tag teams in WWE history. The Usos managed to isolate Tucker and eventually hit him with a pair of Superkicks followed by an Uso Splash to retain their titles.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell Match to Retain the WWE Championship After Brock Lesnar had returned at Clash of Champions and attacked Shinsuke Nakamra, he was named the #1 contender to the WWE Championship. In the process, however, Lesnar found himself on the opposite end of the New Day, destroying both Kofi Kingston and Big E in the weeks leading up to the Hell in a Cell match between he and Nakamura. Lesnar tossed Shinsuke around the cage, at least until Shinsuke was able to catch the Beast off guard and kick him through the cage wall. They would fight around the Cell until Lesnar suplexed Nakamura back into the cage and tossed him in the ring. Before Lesnar could make the pin, though, he was attacked by the 3rd member of New Day, Xavier Woods, who carried a lead pipe and was looking for revenge on Lesnar for taking out his friends and partners. Lesnar was only mildly annoyed by Woods after a while, hitting him with an F5 before turning back to Nakamura. The King of Strong Style though caught Lesnar off guard with a Boma Ye, before hitting a second one to Lesnar and picking up the win and title retention. Woods made his way up the ramp, while Lesnar glared at him with murderous intent, to close the show.
Off-Camera Title Changes: October 7: Rey Mysterio d. Jinder Mahal for the Intercontinental Title October 25: The Kabuki Warriors d. The Iiconics for the Women's Tag Team Titles

*Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio & Ricochet d. Andrade, Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo w/Zelina Vega by Pinfall The son of Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio made his in ring debut in this 6-Man Tag Match, teaming with his father and Ricochet to face the trio of Los Lotharios and "El Idolo" Andrade. Despite his inexperience, Dominik availed himself well in the limited time he was in the match, but it was Ricochet who proved to be the most impressive in the match, as the One and Only would hit a Double Moonsault on Garza to pick up the win for he and the Mysterios.
*Roman Reigns & Keith Lee d. Bobby Lashley & Braun Strowman w/MVP by Pinfall After losing the United States title to Bobby Lashley, Keith Lee sought help from Lashley's other major rival, Roman Reigns, to try and gain some revenge on the Almighty and the Monster Amongst Men, Braun Strowman. Much like the encounter at Summerslam when Reigns teamed with John Cena, The Big Dog proved to be more than a match for MVP's tandem, eventually hitting Lashley with a Spear and picking up the victory for he and the Limitless One.
*Charlotte Flair d. Sasha Banks w/Bayley by Submission After months of having Sasha Banks help her "BFF" Bayley retain the Women's World Championship, Charlotte Flair took it upon herself to try and defeat the Boss at Crown Jewel, hoping to propel herself to another title shot against the self professed Role Model. Banks and Flair had a highly technical match, similar to their series of matches several years prior, that ended when Charlotte was able to take out Bayley with a Big Boot and then counter a Backstabber, locking Banks in the Figure 8 shortly thereafter and getting the submission victory.
*Brock Lesnar d. Kofi Kingston & Big E w/Xavier Woods by Submission in a Handicap Match Since they had cost him the WWE Title at Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar had become a one man wrecking crew against the New Day. While the three of them were able to normally fend off the Beast Incarnate, Xavier Woods was caught by himself on an episode of Smackdown, and beaten to a bloody pulp before being sent to the hospital. This led Kofi Kingston and Big E to face Brock in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match. While Big E was able to hold his own against the dangerous Lesnar, Brock's UFC experience was what won the day as he locked Kingston in a Kimura Lock, forcing the former WWE Champion to tap out before his arm was snapped in two.
*Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher d. Randy Orton by Pinfall to Win the King of the Ring Tournament The King of the Ring Tournament returned in the weeks leading to Crown Jewel, with the finals of said tournament taking place at the PPV, pitting the Modern Day Maharajah of Jinder Mahal against the Viper Randy Orton. On Paper at least, Orton was more than a match for Mahal, and likely would have won the tournament (and the world title shot that went with it) if not for the interference of Veer Mahan and Sanga against him. The distraction from Indus Sher allowed Mahal to eventually hit Orton with the Khalass and get the huge upset victory and be crowned the "new emperor" of WWE.
*Drew McIntyre & Sheamus d. Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles The allied team of Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode faced off against WWE Tag Team champions Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, having beaten the champions in individual one on one matches in the weeks leading into Crown Jewel. However the luck of Ziggler and Roode couldn't hold up repeatedly, as McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick to Roode to pick up the win and retain their titles.
*Becky Lynch d. Alexa Bliss w/Liv Morgan by Pinfall to Retain the Women's Championship Becky Lynch had entered into a feud with the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan, particularly the former of that duo. Lynch also began the match behind the proverbial 8-ball, being attacked by Nia Jax while she was making her entrance. This gave Bliss an opening to come close to winning the title, but Lynch was able to persevere after kicking out of Twisted Bliss. Becky started to make a comeback, fending off both Bliss and Morgan to eventually hit Alexa with the Manhandle Slam and pick up the win and title retention.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. John Cena by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship John Cena attempted to surpass his own record of WWE Title reigns, taking on the King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura in this match. As was becoming more and more common for the champion's matches, Nakamura relied heavily on the outside presence of his manager and translator Paul Heyman. Heyman had attempted to go "old school" on Cena, breaking out one of the old brick cellphones from his WCW days and trying to club Cena over the head with it, only to be caught by Cena, who decked Heyman and took him out on the outside. However this distraction gave Nakamura the opportunity to hit a Boma Ye to pick up the win and retain his title again.
*Cesaro d. Seth Rollins by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship In another rematch from Wrestlemania, with the stipulation that there had to be a winner, Cesaro challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title for the final time. For the third time in a year the two had a lengthy match filled with near falls, but the end result this time would be different. Cesaro managed to sucker in Rollins after struggling to get to his feet, causing Rollins to come over as opposed to going for another Curb Stomp. Cesaro used the momentary lapse to catch Rollins off guard and hit him with two successive Zurich Bombs, stacking up the Architect and pinning him to regain the World Title. After the match, Cesaro offered his hand to the former champion as a sign of respect, which Rollins appeared to take, only for Seth to low blow Cesaro afterwards and then deliver a Curb Stomp onto the new champion onto the title belt, turning heel and leaving the champ lying to close the show.
