NXT Takeover: MSG April 4, 2019 Madison Square Garden New York City, NY
*Drew Gulak d. Roderick Strong by Submission to Retain the International Title In a shocking upset, Drew Gulak had defeated Roderick Strong to win the International Championship. Strong immediately cashed in his guaranteed rematch, leading to this match at Takeover MSG. Gulak would prove that his win was not a fluke, however, as he locked Strong in the Gulag and retained his title via submission.
*The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] d. Lucha House Party [Gran Metallik & Lince Dorado] & The Forgotten Sons [Jakson Ryker & Steve Cutler] by Pinfall to Win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic Lucha House Party were attempting to successfully defend their crowns as Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic winners, and had faced The Street Profits in a semifinal match of the tournament. However the new team of The Forgotten Sons (waiting for the winners in the finals) interfered and ensured the match would end in a no contest, theoretically winning the tournament by default. NXT General Manager William Regal ensured that would not be the case, ordering a triple threat match for the tournament crown. After a lengthy back and forth, The Street Profits emerged victorious after Montez Ford hit Jakson Ryker with a high elevation top rope splash, picking up the tournament victory and the title shot that came with it.
*War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] w/Sarah Logan d. The Undisputed Era [Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly] by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The nearly unstoppable War Raiders debuted having Sarah Logan (formerly of the Riott Squad) in their corner for this title rematch against The Undisputed Era, an attempt to keep the rest of the faction from interfering in the match. Despite working over Erik's leg for the majority of the match, Ivar was able to tag in and clean house of Fish and O'Reilly. In the end, Ivar hit the Doomsault on Fish, squashing him flat and picking up the win and the tag titles, making the UE 0/2 on the night.
*Shayna Baszler d. Toni Storm by Submission to Retain the NXT Women's Championship 2018 Mae Young Classic Winner Toni Storm finally received her one on one match for the NXT Women's Championship against the dominant champion, Shayna Baszler. Despite the fact that the Queen of Spades' running buddies, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, were barred from ringside by NXT General Manager William Regal, Baszler was able to once again prove her dominance in the women's division, choking out Toni Storm with the Kirafuda Clutch and retaining her title.
*Imperium [WALTER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci] d. British Strong Style [Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate & Trent Severn] by Pinfall A new stable of European wrestlers called Imperium, led by the impressive and dominant Ring General WALTER, had entered into NXT and targeted British Strong Style. Despite Dunne and company's best efforts, WALTER and the duo of Kaiser and Vinci were able to get the win in this six man tag, after WALTER chopped the stuffing out of Tyler Bate and then pinned him with a Stack Up Powerbomb.
*Ricochet d. Otis w/Tucker by Pinfall to Retain the North American Championship In a standard title defense, Ricochet was able to survive the massive Otis of Heavy Machinery, using his quickness to outrun the massive wrestler and hi a springboard DDT followed by a Shooting Star Press for the victory to retain the North American Title.
*Johnny Gargano w/Candace LeRae d. Adam Cole in a 60 Minute Iron Man Match to Win the NXT Championship Johnny Gargano had earned another shot at the NXT Championship against Adam Cole by virtue of running the gauntlet against the other three members of the Undisputed Era. A final stipulation was made between the two men by William Regal, who ordered the match to be a 60 minute Iron Man match to prove once aqnd for all who the better man was. With his wife Candace LeRae in his corner (and Tomasso Ciampa at ringside watching), Gargano was able to go up 2-0 early on with a series of quick pinfall counters. Cole quickly tied the match at 2 falls a piece, before going up 3-2 with 20 minutes left after Fish and O'Reilly came to his aid, causing Ciampa (despite the Blackheart's injuries) to chase after them through the crowd. With just under 5 minutes left Gargano tied it at three falls a piece after hitting Cole with his own Last Shot move, and then finally went up for good with less than 20 seconds left, getting the final fall with the Garga-No-Escape submission hold and winning the NXT Title for the second time, celebrating with LeRae in the ring to close the Takeover show.

Wrestlemania 35 April 6&7, 2019 MetLife Stadium East Rutherford, NJ
Night One *The Miz d. Sheamus, Lio Rush, Bobby Lashley, Mustafa Ali, & Braun Strowman in a Ladder Match to Win the United States Title Lio Rush entered the United States title scramble match not as the champion, but as the title holder, having stolen the belt from the lineal champion Bobby Lashley and then "defending" it against Mustafa Ali and Sheamus the week after stealing it. This led to WWE General Manager Paige making a 6-Man Ladder Match for the belt at Wrestlemania, with former challenger Braun Strowman added to the mix and The Miz winning a battle royal to round out the field. With so many heavy hitters in the match, it was atypical of other ladder matches in that there weren't as many high flying spots. The end came when Ali seemed poised to capture the belt, only to be taken out by Lashley who jumped off another ladder with a massive spear to wipe out the former champion. This gave The Miz the chance to scurry up the ladder (with Strowman hot on his heels) and grab the belt quickly, surprising everyone by winning the United States title.
*The Fiend d. Aleister Black by Submission Since being Buried Alive in the fall, Bray Wyatt had been airing strange vignettes of a "milder" version of himself, acting as a children's host in a place called the Firefly Fun House. After several weeks of these vignettes, specifically targeting the House of Black, Wyatt made his return to wrestling, also acting out as this character. After inviting The House of Black to the Fun House for a "tea party", Aleister Black and his cronies destroyed the set, burning the puppets whom Bray had for friends. This caused Bray to introduce a new character called "The Fiend", as he would "Let Him In" and channel his destructive persona on Black. The masked Fiend debuted at Wrestlemania, and laid waste to the Darkfather of the House of Black, withstanding all of Black's offense and easily tossing him around the ring before finishing him off with the Mandible Claw submission hold.
*Sasha Banks & Bayley d. Tamina Snuka & Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss & Dana Brooke in a Triple Threat Match to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles A scheduled rematch between the so called "Boss 'n Hug Connection" and the former champions Tamina Snuka & Nia Jax for the Women's Tag Team Titles had been interrupted by the duo of Alexa Bliss and her BFF Dana Brooke. Bliss was upset that she didn't have a title match on the Wrestlemania card, and so used Brooke to force their way into this to make it a triple threat match. However things wouldn't go the Goddess' way, as Brooke was eventually pinned by Bayley following a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex, after the match degenerated into a six woman brawl. After the match, as the champions celebrated, Bliss berated Brooke and slapped her, causing Brooke to slap Bliss right back and then drill her with a DDT, leaving her lying humiliated in the middle of the ring.
*Keith Lee Won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal While The Miz had earned his way into the United States Title Match, his ally/tag partner Baron Corbin had publically entered himself into the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, seeking to earn the accolade and the giant trophy that went with it. However this accolade would elude the Lone Wolf. Corbin was one of the final two men in the ring, along with NXT standout talent Keith Lee. However Lee would reverse an attempt at an End of Days from Corbin, utilizing his own strength to beal Corbin out of the ring and send him sailing over the top rope for the upset victory in the battle royal.
*Triple H d. Batista by Pinfall AT Fastlane, Batista had revealed that he was the one who attacked Nature Boy Ric Flair, all in an effort to set up Triple H to be vulnerable and to lure The Game into a Wrestlemania match with him. The Animal made clear that he wanted a third one on one match against the current co-director of the company, with their Wrestlemania record currently set at one match a piece between them. The two had a hard hitting brawl that would spill to the outside. With No Disqualifications, weapons were quickly added, and both men were busted open before the end of the match. In the end Ric Flair, who was in attendance, would interfere himself and lowblow The Animal, setting Batista up to be hit with a Pedigree onto a Steel Chair and giving Triple H the definitive win. Later in the night in an exclusive interview to WWE's website, Batista confirmed that he would retire following this loss.
*Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn d. The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] & The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Usp] in a Triple Threat Match to Win the World Tag Team Titles These three teams had been in each other's orbit since the Royal Rumble, with the World Tag Team Titles hanging in the balance. Tired of their constant interference in each other's matches, WWE co-director Shane McMahon set up a triple threat match between the three teams with the titles up for stakes. It looked as if the Usos would pull out the victory, after hitting Sami Zayn with a Double Uso Splash, however the Revival caught Jimmy with a Shatter Machine, taking him out of the equation. Owens then came in and hit a Stunner on both members of the Revival and then on Jey Uso in a quick flurry of offense, before finishing off Dawson with a Pop Up Powerbomb to pick up the win and the titles.
*Roman Reigns d. Dean Ambrose by Pinfall in a Loser Leaves WWE Match After Roman Reigns had returned and had asked Dean Ambrose to "forgive" Seth Rollins, the Lunatic Fringe was beside himself, having justified his war with Rollins as "fighting for Roman". After the Shield seemingly got back together at Fastlane, Ambrose had turned on Reigns and abandoned him to the House of Black. This led to Ambrose eventually challenging Roman to a match at Wrestlemania where the Loser would Leave WWE, not wanting to stay in the company with someone as "diseased" as Roman or Rollins. After a lengthy and emotional match, Ambrose seemingly offered himself to Reigns to finish off after both men were spent, allowing Roman to hit one final Spear and pin Ambrose, ending the Lunatic Fringe's run in the company.
*Charlotte Flair d. Asuka by Submission to Win the Women's World Championship With Becky Lynch firmly ensconced in the main event of Wrestlemania 35, Charlotte Flair targeted her previous year's opponent for a title opportunity, challenging the Empress of Tomorrow Asuka for the Women's World Championship by attacking her after a title defense at Fastlane. Following an entrance remiscent of her father (in which she flew into New York City via helicopter), Charlotte had another classic match with her rival, with both women relying on their technical expertise. Asuka nearly locked Charlotte in the Rising Sun, which would have spelled certain doom for the Queen, but Charlotte was able to fight out into a pinning combination for a near fall. Eventually Charlotte managed to catch Asuka missing with a cross body off the top rope, which gave her the opening needed to lock Asuka into the Figure 8. After a couple of minutes, Asuka was eventually forced to tap out, giving Charlotte the revenge win from last years Wrestlemania as well as the Women's World Championship.
*Kofi Kingston d. Daniel Bryan by Pinfall to Win the WWE Championship Kofi Kingston had punched his ticket to Wrestlemania at Fast Lane, much to the chagrin of the McMahon family (and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan as well). They made clear this would be Kofi's only opportunity at the title, leading to Bryan attempting to do everything in his power to get disqualified in the match, only to be thwarted by The New Day at Kofi's side. With the crowd firmly behind him, Kofi finally made good on his 11 year journey through the WWE, hitting Bryan with Trouble in Paradise twice to pin the new Daniel Bryan and win the WWE Title. After the match, his best friends in the New Day handed Kofi a rechristened WWE title belt (to replace the "eco-friendly" belt of Daniel Bryan) as Kofi celebrated with his kids in the ring to close out night one.
Night Two *Seth Rollins d. Cesaro by Pinfall to Win the World Heavyweight Championship Night Two got underway with Seth Rollins challenging the Swiss Superman Cesaro for the World Heavyweight Championship. There was an element of respect between the two men going into the match, as Rollins specifically chose Cesaro for his Wrestlemania title match to "face the very best in the World." Cesaro lived up to this moniker, as he matched Rollins move for move, with several unique innovative offensive moves shown by both men. Rollins went for a Curb Stomp early on, only for Cesaro to catch Rollins with a European Uppercut coming down. Rollins was able to roll out of a Phoenix Splash attempt and then catch Cesaro with a Superkick followed by a Shining Wizard for a near fall. In the end, Cesaro attempted a Zurich Bomb from the top rope, only for Rollins to counter with a Hurancanrana. Rollins then delivered a Curb Stomp to Cesaro to pick up the win and the World Title. After the match, both men shook each other's hand as a continued sign of respect.
*AJ Styles d. Samoa Joe by Pinfall Former TNA rivals AJ Styles and Samoa Joe had crossed paths at the Royal Rumble, when they had caused each other's eliminations, leading to a brief feud between the two. It got personal when Joe began taunting Styles wife Wendy at a live event, leading to the Phenomenal One losing his mind. Styles could barely contain his anger over the slight, but eventually held it in check and finished off Joe with a Styles Clash to pick up a hard fought win.
*Finn Balor d. Jeff Hardy, Drew McIntyre, Karl Anderson, Andrade, & Rey Mysterio in a Ladder Match to Win the Intercontinental Title To match the United States Title on Night One, the Intercontinental Title was defended in a 6 Man Ladder Match as well. Ladder Match veteran Jeff Hardy was certainly in his element, flinging himself around with reckless abandon, essentially taking himself out of the match early on. Andrade and Rey Mysterio also took each other out as a continuation of their feud, leaving the match down to Drew McIntyre against Finn Balor and Karl Anderson. The Club member nearly won the title when Luke Gallows came down to his aide, only for Gallows to eat a Claymore kick from McIntyre, taking him out. Balor and McIntyre then raced up the ladder, trading blows before Balor was able to jump over the top of the ladder and hit a Sling Blade on the Scottish Psychopath. Balor then inched his way back up the ladder, beating out Andrade to the top and grabbing the title belt to win the high spotfest match.
*Kurt Angle w/Singh Brothers d. Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher by Submission Ever since Starrcade, Indian star Jinder Mahal and his new hired muscle, the team known as Indus Sher, had been harrasing WWE Legends and Hall of Famers, claiming that they were taking screen time away from the superstars of today (such as himself.) This came to a head on an episode of Raw when Christian was announced for the Hall of Fame class of 2019, as announced by his friend Edge. Mahal and his goons attacked Edge and Christian, only for them to be saved by Kurt Angle. Angle had announced that Wrestlemania 35 would be his final match, and chose Mahal as his final opponent. He further balanced the match out by bringing the Singh Brothers, the former hired muscle of Jinder Mahal, to the ring with him to balance out Indus Sher. Angle controlled much of the match, save for a short burst of offense from Jinder. In the end, Angle defeated Jinder following an Angle Slam and then an Ankle Lock, taking a bow after the victory as he officially retired.
*Rhea Ripley Won the Chyna Memorial Battle Royal The 2nd annual Chyna Memorial Battle Royal was very different from its day one counterpart in terms of execution. While that match was fairly evenly paced, in this one NXT star Rhea Ripley dominated from the word go, fully eliminating half the field by herself on her way to victory, as she last eliminated Lacey Evans for the victory.
*John Cena & Randy Orton d. Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles The super team of John Cena and Randy Orton took on former champions Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode, after they attacked Orton and Cena separately on episodes of Raw and Smackdown, making the two former rivals question whether or not they could truthfully rely on each other. Any tension that existed between them though quickly faded away, as Cena eventually pinned Ziggler following an Attitude Adjustment, while Orton took out Roode with an RKO, the super team picking up the victory and retaining the titles.
*Brock Lesnar d. Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman by Pinfall Paul Heyman's new client, Shinsuke Nakamura, and his former client in Brock Lesnar, had each cost the other the World Heavyweight Title in recent weeks, leading to this explosive feud between them. Nakamura went on the offense early on, and out of the gate hit Lesnar with a Boma Ye, only for Lesnar to get an adrenaline rush and kick out at one. Lesnar then suplexed Nakamura several times, before setting up for the F-5, when he accidentally took out the referee. Paul Heyman then tried to get involved with his cast, just as he had at Elimination Chamber. Like that time, Lesnar no sold the shot and went after Heyman, but unlike last time he was able to dodge the red mist from Nakamura, who accidentally blinded Heyman with it instead. Lesnar then delivered an F-5 to his former advocate, before delivering one to Nakamura for good measure, reviving the referee and picking up the victory and measure of revenge over the King of Strong Style.
*The Undertaker d. Baron Corbin by Pinfall Before the historic main event of the evening, Baron Corbin came out and complained about not getting his "Wrestlemania moment", having been ignominiously eliminated from the Andre the Giant Memorial Royal the night before. He challenged anyone in the back to a match, and the challenge was answered with a special appearance by The Undertaker, who was in his American Bad Ass get up, complete with a motorcyle entrance and Kid Rock blaring on the PA system. Undertaker made short work of the Lone Wolf, hitting him with several hard shots, an Old School, a Chokeslam and then finally a Last Ride for a quick squash victory to delight the crowd.
*Becky Lynch d. Ronda Rousey by Submission to Win the WWE Women's Championship For the first time ever, two women main evented a Wrestlemania event, as Becky Lynch challenged Ronda Rousey for the Women's Championship. Rousey had officially turned heel following Elimination Chamber, loosely aligning with WWE co-director Stephanie McMahon and accepting a contract that said that if Lynch attacked Rousey on the road to Wrestlemania, she would lose her title shot. This continued until the contract signing, when Rousey slapped Lynch, causing The Man to reveal that the action nullified that clause in the contract, leading to Lynch putting Rousey through a table. Lynch did suffer a seemingly injured arm en route to Wrestlemania at the hands of the "Baddest Woman on the Planet", giving Rousey an advantage heading into the match. However Lynch was able to fight through whatever pain she had, eventually locking Rousey in her own Dis-Arm-Her to get the clear submission victory and win the Women's Championship to the crowd's delight to end Wrestlemania 35 triumphantly.

WWE Money in the Bank May 19, 2019 XL Center Hartford, CT
*Bayley d. Lacey Evans, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, Asuka, Nikki Cross, Liv Morgan & Alexa Bliss in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match The Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match kicked things off at the Pay Per View, with Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Asuka considered the favorites for the briefcase. Interestingly enough Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss seemed to form an alliance. In the end though this alliance wouldn't help the self-professed Goddess, as she was beaten to the top of the ladder by Bayley. The co-holder of the Women's Tag Team Titles managed to secure the briefcase and earn herself a guaranteed title shot at any time at either Women's title.
*Daniel Bryan d. Erik Rowan by Submission Following his title loss at Wrestlemania 35, Daniel Bryan blamed his "eco-acolyte" Erik Rowan for his loss, excommunicating him on an episode of Raw and working over his arm, nearly snapping it in two. This led to a match between the former allies in which Bryan used his speed to dodge the angered Rowan, keeping him from catching him too often. Rowan finally got his hands on Bryan briefly, but the Eco-Warrior attacked the already injured arm, eventually locking in the LeBell Lock to get the submission victory.
*Keith Lee d. Baron Corbin by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title The night after Wrestlemania, Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner Keith Lee continued his unlikely win streak, embarrasing the newly crowned United States Champion The Miz and winning the title his first night on the main roster. Lee's first title defense on Pay Per View would be against Baron Corbin, the man he had last eliminated from said battle royal and The Miz's ally. Corbin controlled much of the match, equaling Lee's power, but was eventually unable to keep up with the champion's surprising agility. Lee eventually fought out of the End of Days and caught Corbin with a Big Bang Catastrophe to pick up the win.
*Kevin Owens w/Sami Zayn d. Bray Wyatt by Pinfall Shortly after Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn won the World Tag Team Titles, they ran into Bray Wyatt's "friendly" persona backstage on an episode of Smackdown, with Wyatt (in his creepy child host manner) thanking them for showing that "friendship can survive any betrayal!", making reference to Owens' betrayals of Zayn over the years. While this seemingly got Zayn thinking, Owens didn't take kindly to Wyatt's lip, and attacked him backstage, with his tag partner eventually joining in. This would lead to Owens facing Wyatt (again in his more docile persona) in a one on one match at Money in the Bank. Wyatt was surprisingly adept in the ring despite his quirkiness, but showed none of the ferocity that the Fiend persona had displayed at Wrestlemania. Owens however would kick Wyatt low after the referee was distracted, before hitting Wyatt with a Stunner and then pinning him for the win.
*Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio d. Andrade w/Zelina Vega by Pinfall Sometime after Wrestlemania, Rey Mysterio had renewed his feud with Andrade, which had been simmering off and on for several months. Things got personal when Rey brought his son Dominik to a show at ringside, and Andrade attacked the younger Mysterio out of the crowd, leading to this No Disqualification Match. Dominik accompanied Rey to ringside, eventually helping him when Andrade got the upper hand, stealing a chair from Andrade and even joining his father in hitting a 619 on Andrade. Rey eventually picked up the win with a Frogsplash.
*Samoa Joe & Randy Orton Wrestled to a No Contest A feud between Samoa Joe and Randy Orton had broken out in the weeks following Wrestlemania, with the two former champions trading wins on Raw, leading to a rubber match between the two at Money in the Bank. However, the veneer of simple competition between the two had seemingly broken, and the fight spilled out into the crowd, causing the match to end in a double countout.
*Becky Lynch d. Sonya Deville by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Title For Becky Lynch's first title defense of her newly won Women's Championship, she defended against former Women's Tag Champion Sonya Deville. Deville's tag partner, Mandy Rose, had attempted to get involved on behalf of the challenger. However, both of them would eat a Manhandle Slam for their trouble, with Lynch picking up the pinfall win.
*Kofi Kingston w/The New Day d. Dolph Ziggler w/Bobby Roode by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship When Kofi Kingston and the New Day had a celebration for Kofi's title win at Wrestlemania, they were interrupted by Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode. Ziggler, being another longer tenured wrestler like Kingston, congratulated him on "finally becoming a world champion," to which Xavier Woods reminded Ziggler he hadn't held a World Title (or been relevant) in 5 years. Ziggler and Roode took exception to this and began attacking the New Day, only to be chased off. The following week, Ziggler jumped Kingston from behind and smashed his head into a steel garage door, concussing him and leaving it questionable if he could defend the title. Kingston did make it to Money in the Bank with clearance, but was clearly not at 100%. Despite this, Kofi was able to fend off Ziggler, with the New Day keeping Roode at bay, with Kingston hitting the Trouble in Paradise on Dolph to pick up the win.
*Shinsuke Nakamura d. Cesaro, AJ Styles, Mustafa Ali, Roman Reigns, The Miz, Finn Balor & Bobby Lashley in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match The Money in the Bank Ladder Match finished off the night, with both Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston sitting at ringside to watch the Ladder Match, featuring some of the top talent in the company. Roman Reigns seemed to be the favorite coming into the match, but would be taken out early on by Bobby Lashley, who speared him through the barricade in front of Rollins and Kingston. In the end the match came down to AJ Styles and Cesaro trading blows at the top of the ladder, only to be knocked off by Mustafa Ali. This gave Shinsuke Nakamura the opportunity to get in the ring (as his advocate/translator, Paul Heyman assisted him with the ladder) and climb to grab the briefcase, with the show ending with Nakamura staring down both champions.
Off-Camera Title Change: May 27: Alexa Bliss & Liv Morgan d. Bayley & Naomi (subbing for an injured Sasha Banks) to Win the Women's Tag Titles

NXT Takeover: San Jose June 1, 2019 SAP Center San Jose, CA
*Drew Gulak d. Kona Reeves by Submission to Retain the International Championship In a standard title defense, Drew Gulak managed to continue his dominance with the International Championship, defeating newcomer Kona Reeves via submission with the Gulock. As Gulak made his way to the back though, his title was eyed by WALTER of Imperium as he accompanied his stablemates out to ringside for their tag team match.
*Imperium [Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel] w/WALTER d. Lucha House Party [Gran Metallik & Lince Dorado] The leader of Imperium, the self-professed Ring General WALTER, was ensuring that his disciples were up to snuff, tasking them with winning the NXT Tag Team Titles. The first step on that road was to face against former winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic, Lucha House Party. Despite the high flying nature of Dorado and Gran Metallik, Aichner hit a Double Underhook Superplex to pick up the hard fought win.
*Roderick Strong d. Ricochet by Pinfall to Win the North American Championship The Undisputed Era looked to regain some more gold, as Roderick Strong challenged the One and Only Ricochet for the North American Championship. The high flyer ran circles around Strong, but his offense was hindered when he was clipped in the knee from behind by Bobby Fish, who had accompanied Strong to ringside. Strong did further damage with a Figure-4 Leglock that Ricochet was barely able to survive. Ricochet got a late flurry of offense, nearly pulling off the victory, only for his knee to give out when he attempted a top rope move. This gave Roddy the opening to hit the End of Heartache to pick up the win and the North American Title.
*Adam Cole d. Velveteen Dream & Matt Riddle by Pinfall to Earn the #1 Contendership to the NXT Championship With his stablemate Kyle O'Reilly challenging for the NXT Championship by order of NXT General Manager William Regal, Adam Cole was left to try and earn a title shot for himself by defeating The Velveteen Dream and Matt Riddle in a triple threat match. Riddle and Dream actually teamed up together early on to take out Cole, leaving the former NXT Champion lying in a heap after putting him through a table. That was until Riddle had Dream in a Guillotine Choke, seemingly close to winning, only for Cole to run in Last Minute and hit a Last Shot on the back of Riddle's head, KO'ing him. Cole then hit a big splash from the top on Dream for a win and a chance to regain the NXT Title.
*War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] w/Sarah Logan d. The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] w/Bianca Belair by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles The Street Profits had entered a feud with the War Raiders over the NXT Tag Team Titles. To counter the presence of the Valkyrie Sarah Logan in the corner of the Raiders, Ford & Dawkins had brought along the self-professed EST of NXT, Bianca Belair, to their corner. The match devolved eventually into a six person brawl, which saw amidst the chaos Ivar hit Dawkins with the Doomsault, picking up a sudden pinfall and allowing the Raiders to escape with their titles.
*Shayna Baszler d. Io Shirai by Submission to Retain the NXT Women's Championship The Empress of the Sky, Io Shirai, had won the #1 contendership to the NXT Women's Championship, challenging the nigh unstoppable Shayna Baszler. Baszler had difficulty matching Shirai's high flying offense, but got assistance from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, who helped distract Shirai long enough for her to miss on a huge moonsault from the top rope. Baszler eventually locked in the Kirafuda Clutch to retain the title via Submission.
*Johnny Gargano d. Kyle O'Reilly by Submission to Retain the NXT Championship With stablemate Adam Cole the #1 contender for the NXT Title, things seemed a bit complicated for Kyle O'Reilly and the rest of the Undisputed Era when he took on Johnny Gargano for the title. O'Reilly and Gargano were evenly matched throughout, and Cole stayed out of the match for the most part. The referee went down near the end of the match, just as O'Reilly seemingly had Gargano pinned, and Cole came in slowly, not reviving the referee. He attempted to help O'Reilly, handing him a pair of brass knuckles after a delay, but O'Reilly missed with the knockout blow just as the ref came too, while the champion locked O'Reilly in the Garga-No Escape. O'Reilly would tap out to give the champion the win. The rest of the Undisputed Era came out to attack Gargano after the bell though, only for the Street Profits and Matt Riddle to come to Gargano's rescue to close the show.

*Jinder Mahal & Indus Sher [Veer Mahaan & Sanga] d. Shelton Benjamin & The Britstonians [Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan] by Pinfall The Modern Day Maharajah, Jinder Mahal, and his new hired muscle of Indus Sher, had been on a winning streak following Wrestlemania. This streak seemingly came to a screeching halt at the hands of former WWE Champion Shelton Benjamin on an episode of Raw, leading to this six man tag at the PLE. Benjamin controlled much of the match, but this changed when Veer Mahaan came in, as the young rookie steamrolled the competition for the most part. In the end, Benjamin made a comeback, but ultimately was caught from behind by Mahal, who hit him with the Khalass and picked up the win.
*Seth Rollins d. Bobby Lashley & Cesaro by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Title Since winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania, Seth Rollins had picked up the moniker "The Hardest Working Man in Sports Entertainment" for his willingness to defend the title against anyone, anywhere. He was originally scheduled to defend the title against Cesaro in a Wrestlemania rematch, but that was made into a Triple Threat match when Bobby Lashley won a match against Cesaro on Smackdown and then attacked Rollins backstage. Lashley dominated both men early on, leading to the current and former champion teamng up to take out the Almighty. Rollins and Cesaro then had a mini replica of their Wrestlemania encounter, which Cesaro nearly won with a Zurich Bomb only for Lashley to make the save. Amidst the chaos, Rollins caught Lashley with a Curb Stomp and then picked up the win, saving his title.
*Samoa Joe d. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing Match After their match had spilled out into the crowd the previous month, Randy Orton and Samoa Joe had a rematch that this time would end when one man couldn't continue anymore. Like their match at Money in the Bank, it traveled up and down the length of the arena. Orton attempted an RKO off the top of the elevated stage, but Joe stopped his momentum and instead sent him flying through the table himself, leaving him lying in a heap on the concrete floor below and keeping him down for a ten count to pick up the hard earned win.
*Keith Lee d. Sheamus by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title The Celtic Warrior Sheamus had entered into a brief feud with United States Champion Keith Lee, wanting to recapture championship gold for the first time in a long time. However despite his experience, he couldn't compete with the sheer athleticism of the Limitless One, as Keith Lee beat Sheamus following a Spirit Bomb to retain the title.
*The Fiend d. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn by Pinfall in a Handicap Match After Kevin Owens had managed to knock off Bray Wyatt in a match at Money in the Bank. A series of "unfortunate events" began to happen surrounding both Owens and Zayn, causing the World Tag Team Champions to begin to doubt one another and slowly grow more paranoid. Finally on the go home episode of Raw, Wyatt reappeared in the Funhouse and challenged the tag team champions to a Handicap Match, saying that his "friend" The Fiend would like to come out and play. The Fiend withstood both Owens and Zayn's best shots, and could only be worn down through the attrition of the handicap stipulation. However in the end, The Fiend caused a fireball to explode in Owens face, temporarily blinding him. Owens then inadvertantly hit a Stunner on Zayn, knocking him out before The Fiend trapped Owens in the Mandible Claw, picking up the victory that way.
*Bayley d. Charlotte Flair & Naomi via Money in the Bank Cash In to Win the Women's World Championship The match had begun as a standard title defense between Charlotte Flair and Naomi for the Women's World Championship. After an evenly paced match that saw Naomi come close to knocking off the Queen in a huge upset, Naomi's supposed tag partner in Bayley came rushing out from the back, carrying her Money in the Bank briefcase. She immediately cashed in, forcing the match to become a triple threat match, before quickly pinning Naomi and recapturing a women's championship in WWE, much to the chagrin of her partner and the Queen.
*Goldberg d. John Cena by Pinfall In a first ever meeting between the two legends, John Cena took on WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg. The two had a fairly standard match, with Cena managing to fight out of an attempted Jackhammer and hit an AA on Goldberg out of nowhere for a near fall. Before long though, Goldberg would hit a second Spear and then hit the Jackhammer to pick up the win, both men shaking the others hands at the end as a sign of respect.
*The New Day [Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods] d. Daniel Bryan & The Club [Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows] in a Winner Take All MAtch for the WWE Title and WWE Tag Team Titles After "disposing" of his eco-acolyte Erick Rowan, Daniel Bryan recruited new friends in the form of WWE Tag Team Champions The Club in his quest to regain the WWE Title from Kofi Kingston. A winner take all match was set up between the two trios, with both the tag titles and the WWE Title on the line. Bryan and The Club focused on Xavier Woods, pegging him as the "weak link" in the New Day trio. However this would backfire ultimately, as Woods would pick up the win after hitting Gallows with his Limit Break Elbow, allowing Kofi to keep the WWE Title while giving Big E & Woods the WWE Tag Titles to close the show.

*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] d. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, Heavy Machinery [Tucker & Otis] & The Revival [Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson] by Pinfall to Win the World Tag Team Titles Since facing The Fiend in a series of matches, the friendship and partnership between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had seemingly been in the midst of fracturing, leading to the dysfunctional World Tag Team Champions defending their titles in a Fatal Fourway match against former rivals The Usos and The Revival, as well as new NXT callups Heavy Machinery. The champions hardly stood a chance, as their partnership continued to fracture amidst miscommunications, allowing the Usos to sneak up behind and hit a double Superkick on Owens to take him out of the equation. Heavy Machiney came close to scoring an upset, bu a double team superplex from the top rope by The Revival took out Otis. Before they could make the cover though, Jey Uso dived from the top with an Uso Splash and picked up the win, regaining the World Tag Team Titles. After the match Owens and Zayn began fighting with one another, having to be broken apart by security.
*Bobby Lashley d. Roman Reigns by Technical Submission On an episode of Raw in which Roman Reigns was facing Daniel Bryan for a shot at Kofi Kingston's WWE Title, Reigns was attacked by Bobby Lashley out of nowhere. Now calling himself "The All-Mighty", Lashley had targeted Reigns with the express purpose of ridding the company of "The Big Dog". The two hoss fighters met in a titanic clash in which they were both evenly matched, with Reigns slowly gaining the upper hand over time. However, Roman would be distracted by a camera man at ringside, who would suddenly hit Reigns in the back with a steel tipped cane out of nowhere. The camera man would be revealed as the returning Montel Vontavious Porter. The former World Champion distracted Reigns long enough for Lashley to lock in a Full Nelson on Reigns. Roman didn't tap out, but he was forced to pass out to the move, giving Lashley the win by technical submission.
*The New Day [Xavier Woods & Big E] d. Jinder Mahal & Indus Sher [Veer Mahan & Sanga] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles With Kofi Kingston defending the WWE Title against Daniel Bryan later in the night, the New Day was down one man as they defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against Jinder Mahal and the duo of Indus Sher in a 3 on 2 Handicap Match. Mahal largely kept to the periphery, allowing Veer Mahan and Sanga to do the brunt of the work against Woods and Big E, isolating the former while keeping the latter on the outside. Eventually though Big E made the hot tag and took out the two Indian mercenaries, leaving the Modern Day Maharajah alone. Big E and Woods then defeated Mahal with the Midnight Hour, picking up the win and retaining the titles.
*Bayley d. Naomi by Pinfall to Retain the Women's World Championship Bayley had seemingly "turned" on her tag team partner Naomi and interrupted her Women's World Championship Match against Charlotte Flair a few weeks earlier. This led to the Glow Goddess to challenge the new champion to a match for the title. Bayley started off the match by shaking Naomi's hand, seemingly attempting to make peace, but as the match became more and more intense, any sense of decorum passed by, until eventually Bayley stole a win by using the ropes for additional leverage on a pinning combination. Stealing a win and then acting like she had done nothing wrong afterwards.
*Dolph Ziggler & Lacey Evans d. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch by Pinfall Dolph Ziggler had entered a brief feud with World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, largely stemming from Ziggler's jealousy over Rollins' success. Ziggler had managed to win a Beat the Clock Challenge unexpectedly to earn a World Title shot on Smackdown, only for that shot to be invalidated by a countout victory due to a injured knee on the part of Rollins. When Becky Lynch, the real life girlfriend of Rollins, came to check on him, Ziggler recruited Lacey Evans to take out the Women's Champion, leading to this Mixed Tag Match. The two champions controlled much of the match, but Rollins' injured knee once again came back to haunt the champion, giving Ziggler an opening and allowing him to suddenly hit the Zig Zag on Rollins, rolling him up and holding the tights for additional leverage to pick up the huge upset.
*Finn Balor d. Aleister Black w/The House of Black by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Finn Balor's reign as Intercontinental Champion was in jeopardy, as he faced the full brunt of the House of Black while taking on Aleister Black in this title defense. Black utilized his martial arts training and unique offense to keep Balor at bay, while any advantage the champion was able to muster was snuffed out by the recruits of Blake and Murphy. However, miscommunication between Blake and Black allowed Balor an opening, as Black accidentally hit Blake with the Black Mass. Balor then followed up with a Sling Blade followed by a Coup de Grace for the victory.
*Samoa Joe d. Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman, AJ Styles, Cesaro & Bray Wyatt in a 6 Pack Challenge to Earn a Shot at the WWE Championship A 6 Pack Challenge was being held to crown the new #1 contender for the WWE Title, featuring a who's who of former champions. Different dynamics were at play, including a weird moment between AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt, where the deranged star seemingly became fixated on Styles to the point of taking both of them out. In the end it appeared Randy Orton would get the win, hitting Cesaro with the RKO as a counter to the Zurich Bomb (after Nakamura had been taken out by a Punt Kick earlier), but Samoa Joe came from behind and locked Orton in the Coquina Clutch, choking him out and earning the title shot for the future.
*Kofi Kingston d. Daniel Bryan in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match to Retain the WWE Title Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan got his "last best chance" to take on Kofi Kingston for the title and promised to "snuff out" Kofi Mania once and for all, challenging the New Day Champion to a 30 Minute Iron Man Match to prove once and for all that his victory wasn't a fluke. Bryan went up early with a Baikatsu Knee right out of the gate, getting an early pinfall in the first 20 seconds. Bryan would then extend his lead by locking Kofi in the Kiniski Clutch for a tap out inside of 6 minutes, going up 2-nothing. At the 12 minute mark, Kofi managed to dodge a diving headbutt to the outside, getting a countout win to narrow the score, and then tied things up with 7 minutes to go with a small package out of an attempted piledriver. Bryan then struggled to try and get a decisive fall, before Kofi hit a final Trouble in Paradise for a fall with 15 seconds left, taking the lead and eventually winning to retain his title. As New Day all came out to celebrate though, the three were assaulted by Samoa Joe carrying a steel chair. Joe took out Woods and Big E with the chair, and then locked Kingston in a Coquina Clutch, choking him out and raising the title high above his head to close the show.
