Note: I'm replacing Super Showdown with Clash of Champions, due to running another International Event at the end of this month. It should be noted that Saudi shows, like other shows I've had here, will still happen but be relocated to other countries (really the whole reason for the "International Series" that I've been using). For example Crown Jewel 2018 will move to Qatar.
WWE Clash of ChampionsOctober 7, 2018 Sprint Center Kansas City, MO
*Seth Rollins w/Dean Ambrose d. Andrade w/Zelina Vega by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Seth Rollins had renewed his feud with one of the men the Shield feuded with throughout 2017, Andrade, ahead of this Intercontinental Title defense at Clash of Champions. The Mexican star had tried to drive a wedge between Rollins and Ambrose, pointing out Rollins' betrayal of the Shield years previously, but the Lunatic Fringer had noncommitally said that "it was all behind him." In the match, Andrade targeted Rollins surgically reconstructed knee, and nearly had the man beaten with a Figure-4 Leglock, but Rollins was able to fight out and hit a Curb Stomp for the victory.
*Ruby Riott w/The Riott Squad d. Charlotte Flair by Pinfall to Win the Women's World Championship This match was originally scheduled to be a rematch from Hell in a Cell between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair for the Women's World Championship. However, Lynch was suspended by WWE General Manager Paige, after Lynch had violated an order not to lay a hand on the Queen of WWE. This led to Ruby Riott being selected to face Flair instead, which Flair took as an "easy day at the office". Despite the presence of Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan on the outside, Charlotte looked like she would easily dispatch Riott, but the referee suffered a shot that knocked them down. All of sudden Becky Lynch came through the crowd and attacked Charlotte, hitting her with the Manhandle Slam and then running away before security could chase her off. In the midst of the confrontation, Liv Morgan rolled Riott on top of Charlotte as the referee came to, and Ruby picked up the pin to score the huge upset victory.
*Kevin Owens w/Sami Zayn d. Triple H by Pinfall An issue had been brewing between WWE co-director Triple H and one of the men he had hand-picked for NXT, Kevin Owens, as Owens felt overlooked by WWE and was fueling a conspiracy theory from his friend, Sami Zayn, that indy stars like them were being misused. Triple H countered by saying Owens had been handed the ball and that he had "dropped it." A match was set between the two, with Zayn in Owens' corner, but Triple H ordered Zayn sent to the back. Owens and Triple H had a hard hitting brawl that actually saw KO kick out of a Pedigree at one point to Triple H's shock. In the end, Owens stunned Triple H both literally and figuratively, hitting the Stunner out of nowhere for a surprise clean win over The Game.
*Cesaro d. Jinder Mahal w/The Singh Brothers by Pinfall to Retain the United States Title Cesaro's open challenge for the United States Championship had continued with it being answered by another former US Champion in Jinder Mahal. The Modern Day Maharajah was tired of being overlooked and disrespected after losing the US Title earlier in the year. Against the Swiss Superman though, Jinder was overwhelmed, as Cesaro won the match with the Zurich Bomb. After the match though, the Singh Brothers attacked Cesaro, leading to a three on one beatdown of the champion. Cesaro was surprisingly saved by Sheamus, though, as the two former partners stared at one another.
*Kurt Angle Won a 15-Man Battle Royal to Crown the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship A battle royal was commissioned by WWE co-director Shane McMahon in order to crown a new number 1 contender to the WWE Championship. The match came down to Drew McIntyre, Shinsuke Nakamura and Kurt Angle, with McIntyre eliminating Nakamura following a Claymore Kick after hitting the Japanese star with a low blow. However these underhanded tactics would cost McIntyre in the end, as Nakamura helped Angle eliminate the Scottish Psychopath, making the Hall of Famer the unlikely recipient of a future WWE Championship Match.
*Authors of Pain [Akam & Rezar] d. The House of Black [Buddy Murphy & Wesley Blake] & The Wyatt Family [Harper & Rowan] by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Tag Team Titles The feud between the House of Black and the Wyatt Family had continued, with both teams targeting the Authors of Pain as either potential recruits or targeting them for the WWE Tag Team Titles. A triple threat match was set up between the teams, resulting in a car crash of a match that was difficult to control at times. In the end, Harper hit his Discus Lariat on Murphy, only to be hit with the Final Chapter from the champions, as Akam and Rezar survived to retain.
*Roman Reigns d. Samoa Joe in a Last Man Standing Match to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Following Roman Reigns' victory at Hell in a Cell, Samoa Joe cashed in his rematch clause for Clash of Champions, also successfully lobbying to get the match changed to a Last Man Standing match. The two old rivals battled across the arena, and in the end the match ended when Reigns speared Joe through an empty equipment case, landing at the bottom of a loading dock. Reigns slowly made it to his feet while Joe lay motionless, giving Reigns the victory.
*Daniel Bryan d. AJ Styles by Pinfall to Win the WWE Championship Two fan favorites and two of the best workers in the world faced off for the first time with the WWE Title on the line. Both men battled in a back and forth match, with several technical moves and counter moves that saw both men score near falls on the other. In the end Styles looked to be close to a finish, when the referee was accidentally hit by an errant back hand from the champion. With the distraction, Bryan suddenly kicked Styles below the belt, before finishing him off with a Running Knee to pick up the tainted victory and become WWE Champion once again to close the show.

WWE Evolution October 28, 2018 Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, NY
*Trish Stratus & Lita d. The Iiconics [Peyton Royce & Billie Kay] by Pinfall The first ever WWE event based around women kicked off with former Women's Tag Team Champions, The Iiconics, coming to the ring and bemoaning the fact that they didn't have a match for the night. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay issued a challenge to the entire women's locker room, calling on any two women to step up to their challenge. The challenge was answered by WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita. The two legends made short work of the Iiconics, with Lita hitting Royce with her Moonsault to pick up the easy impromptu win.
*Toni Storm d. Rhea Ripley by Pinfall to Win the 2018 Mae Young Classic The finals of the Mae Young Classic in 2018 had a decidedly international feel, as two wrestlers from New Zealand and Australia respectively had made it all the way to the finals. The powerful Ripley controlled much of the match, but the technical saavy of Storm allowed her to execute the Perfect Storm Suplex on Ripley and pick up the upset win, earning herself a future NXT Women's Title Shot.
*Shayna Baszler d. Kairi Sane by Submission to Win the NXT Women's Championship Kairi Sane defended the NXT Women's Title against former champion Shayna Baszler, and the two had another match similar to their Takeover one prior to Summerslam, with several near falls. In the end however Sane was stopped from hitting her Top Rope Elbow by the sudden appearance of MMA Stars Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. This momentary distraction allowed Baszler to knock Sane off the top rope and then lock in the Kirafuda Clutch, choking out the Pirate Princess and recapturing the NXT Women's Championship.
*Tamina Snuka & Nia Jax d. Alexa Bliss & Dana Brooke by Pinfall The feud between former associates Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax had been rekindled in recent weeks, with Bliss and Dana Brooke attacking the Dominant Diva. Nia Jax however pulled out some help from a "distant cousin" in Tamina Snuka, with the two Island Girls besting Bliss and Brooke, with Jax hitting a massive leg drop on Brooke following Tamina hitting a second rope splash on her.
*Asuka d. Ruby Riott by Submission to Win the Women's World Championship With the Riott Squad busy in the Fatal Fourway for the Women's Tag Team Titles, Ruby Riott was alone as she took on the former Women's World Champion in Asuka. However Riott wasn't ready for the Empress of Tomorrow, as Asuka had little difficulty in regaining her championship, returning to dominant form by locking Riott in the Rising Sun and picking up the win.
*Absolution [Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose] d. The Riott Squad [Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan], The Bella Twins [Nikki & Brie Bella] & Carmella & Alicia Fox in a Fatal Fourway to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles In a Fatal Fourway match for the Women's Tag Team Titles, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose faced both contemporary challenges and legends such as the Bella Twins. Carmella found a replacement tag partner in Alicia Fox, replacing Emmalina who was injured (in reality, she had been released from her contract at the start of the month). Deville relied on her martial arts background to gain the advantage for her team, eventually hitting Fox with a step up enziguiri kick to knock her out and pick up the win, escaping with the titles.
*Ember Moon Won a 20-Woman Battle Royal for a Future Women's Title Shot A 20 Woman Battle Royal was held in the semi-main event, featuring stars from both NXT and WWE, with the winner receiving a future shot at a Women's Championship. The final four of the match were Charlotte Flair, Ember Moon, Io Shirai and Naomi, with Flair and Moon being the final two in the ring. It appeared as if Flair would eliminate Moon, when the still suspended Becky Lynch's music suddenly played over the PA system. This distracted Flair long enough for Ember Moon to sneak up from behind and eliminate the Queen, winning the battle royal in an upset.
*Ronda Rousey d. Sasha Banks w/Bayley by Submission to Retain the WWE Women's Title Ronda Rousey took on the Legitimate Boss for the First Time in a One on One Match, and it proved to be the most challenging match in the Baddest Woman on the Planet's short career to this point. Sasha was able to keep out of Ronda's submission based offense for the most part, at least until an errant moonsault attempt from Banks caused her to land awkwardly on the ground. Rousey then focused on Banks' leg, proving that she was more capable than just an armbar. Eventually she hooked on an ankle lock and got Banks to tap out, retaining her title once again to close the show.

WWE International Series: Crown Jewel November 3, 2018 Khalifa International Stadium Doha, Qatar
*Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman d. Jeff Hardy by Pinfall in a Semifinal Match in the World Championship Title Tournament With Roman Reigns being forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship due to the return of his leukeimia, WWE co-director Triple H announced that a mini tournament would be held to crown a new champion at Crown Jewel. Four semifinal qualifying matches would be held, with the winners of those matches advancing to a Fatal Fourway in the main event. The first of these matches saw the high flying daredevil Jeff Hardy take on the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Despite Hardy's best attempts to use his speed to keep Brock off guard, Lesnar eventually caught Hardy and hit him with a single F5 to pick up the win and advance.
*Braun Strowman d. Finn Balor by Pinfall in a Semifinal Match in the World Championship Title Tournament Both Braun Strowman and Finn Balor were looking to return to a World Title picture after largely being out of it for most of 2018, and for once Balor wouldn't have the backing of Gallows and Anderson behind him. The Prince made the best of his opportunity, but simply couldn't withstand the sheer power of the Monster Amongst Men, as Strowman eventually hit the Running Powerslam to advance to the Fatal Four Way Final later in the night.
*Drew McIntyre d. Rey Mysterio in a Semifinal Match in the World Championship Title Tournament In one of the more athletic matches of the tournament, Lucah Legend Rey Mysterio took on the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre. Despite having the strength and power advantage, McIntyre was fighting from underneath in the closing moments of the match, as Mysterio set up the 619. McIntyre was able to dodge out of the way though, causing a momentary misstep by Mysterio. That was all that McIntyre needed to hit the Claymore Kick to KO Mysterio, picking up the win and advancing to the finals.
*Cesaro d. Kevin Owens w/Sami Zayn in a Semifinal Match in the World Championship Title Tournament Kevin Owens seemingly had all the advantages over United States Champion Cesaro going into the final Semi-final match, given that Sami Zayn was in his corner. For several weeks Zayn had been claiming he had a broken arm, and was wearing a cast, only to use that cast to help Owens win matches. Near the end of the match, the referee was temporarily knocked out, allowing Zayn to come in and attempt to KO Cesaro with the cast. Unfortunately he missed and hit Owens instead, allowing Cesaro to throw Zayn out of the ring and then hit a Zurich Bomb on Owens to pick up the win.
*Kurt Angle & Shinsuke Nakamura d. The Miz & Baron Corbin by Pinfall The feud between Kurt Angle and The Miz picked up again, as Angle teamed with former WWE Champion Shinsuke Nakamura to take on The Miz and Baron Corbin. The unlikely duo of the hall of famer and the King of Strong Style overwhelmed Corbin and The Miz, and Nakamura eventually scored the win for his team by hitting Corbin with a Boma Ye for the three count.
*Aleister Black d. Bray Wyatt in a Buried Alive Match After their months long feud, Bray Wyatt and Aleister Black finally met in a Buried Alive match, seemingly to end their conflict once and for all. With both the Wyatt Family and the House of Black barred from ringside, it appeared that it would finally be a one on one affair, only for Black to have one final twist, as the House of Black did manage to make it into the building, disguised as camera men. Despite his best efforts, Wyatt was beaten back by the three on one disadvantaged and tossed into the open grave next to the stage, before a load of dirt was dumped on him, giving Black the win. After the match though, several Wyatt camera effects played on the Titantron, before fading away with silence, as if a heartbeat was ending.
*John Cena d. Randy Orton by Submission in a No Disqualification Match Billed as what could be the last time these two rivals would meet one on one, Orton and Cena had a match similar to the ones they had throughout their careers, only this time with only respect and pride on the line. Orton kept trying to hit an RKO on Cena, but the 10 time champion had it well scouted, eventually locking Orton in the STF in the center of the ring and getting the submission victory. After the match, Orton shook Cena's hand as the two future Hall of Famers congratulated each other on a successful match.
*Daniel Bryan d. Kofi Kingston w/The New Day by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship The New Day had been granted a title shot for one of their members by WWE General Manager Paige, to take on the "New and Improved" Daniel Bryan. Kofi Kingston was given the honor of facing Bryan, and few gave Kofi a chance at defeating the new champion. Kofi however showcased a level of technical offense that he hadn't shown in years, and came close to winning the WWE Championship on more than one occasion. In the end, Bryan rolled up Kingston from behind and used the ropes for additional leverage in order to get the cheap three count and escape from Doha with his title in tact, as Kofi showed he was still a threat to anyone.
*Cesaro d. Drew McIntyre, Brock Lesnar & Braun Strowman to Win the World Heavyweight Championship The vacant World Title was on the line in this Fatal Fourway match, and early on Strowman and Lesnar seemingly took each other out, as Strowman hit a massive spear on the Beast Incarnate on the outside, breaking through a barricade and causing both men to have to be helped to the back by medical personnel. This left the match down to Cesaro and Drew McIntyre, and the two European stars fought back and forth with several near falls between them. In the end, McIntyre went for a Claymore Kick, but the United States Champion managed to dodge it. Stunned after hitting the back of his head, McIntyre walked straight into a European Uppercut from Cesaro who then followed up with a Zurich Bomb for the victory, winning his first World Championship. After the match, Sheamus came out to celebrate with his longtime rival and tag team partner, as the show went off the air.

NXT Takeover: WarGames in LA November 17, 2018 Staples Center Los Angeles, CA
*Matt Riddle d. Hideo Itami by Pinfall Former MMA Star Matt Riddle had come into NXT with a lot of fanfare, which was not appreciated by Japanese star Hideo Itami, who claimed that the martial artist would know nothing of wrestling, especially given his laid back persona. However, when the bell rang, Riddle was all over Itami, locking him in a Leg Grapevine and twisting his ankle to get Itami to tap out, beating him in under a minute.
*Roderick Strong d. TJ Perkins by Pinfall to Retain the International Championship In a standard title defense, Roderick Strong successfully defended the International Championship against TJ Perkins, getting the victory after hitting him with the End of Heartache.
*The Undisputed Era [Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly] d. War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] by Pinfall In a match with two teams jockeying for position, the virtually unstoppable War Raiders took on Fish and O'Reilly from the Undisputed Era. The hard hitting Raiders appeared to have the match won with the referee down, when Ivar hit Fish with the Doomsault. But Roderick Strong emerged from underneath the ring and KO'ed both of the War Raiders with the International Championship Belt, before placing the unconscious Fish on top of one of them and reviving the referee, giving the Undisputed Era the tainted victory.
*British Strong Style [Trent Severn & Tyler Bate] d. The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles The Street Profits had managed to win a gauntlet match on an episode of NXT, earning a title shot against British Strong Style. Despite Montez Ford's high flying abilities, Severn and Bate were able to ground their opponents, eventually hitting a Superkick followed by the Seven Star Lariat from Severn to pick up the win and retain the titles.
*Ricochet d. Velveteen Dream to Retain the NXT North American Title The makeshift team of Ricochet and Velveteen Dream had fallen apart during one of their tag team matches, due to Dream wanting Ricochet's North American Championship. The two had a blow off match to their feud at this Takeover special, with Ricochet dazzling the ground with his high flying ability, pulling off the victory with the 630 Senton to pick up the win.
*Adam Cole d. Pete Dunne, Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa in the Ultimate Fourway to Retain the NXT Championship After several matches between Adam Cole and his three top challengers had ended in either Undisputed Era interference or some other chicanery, NXT General Manager ordered a Fatal Fourway for WarGames in LA, but with a twist. The "Ultimate Fourway" would take place inside the Wargames Cage, with two referees, and the only way to win was to score a pinfall or submission on the other three contestants in the match (with lights in each corner to designate who had gotten falls on who). A dazzling spotfest of a match followed, that nearly saw Ciampa regain the NXT title when he locked Johnny Gargano in a Crossface, right at the same time that Cole hit the Last Shot on Pete Dunne. Gargano tapped out right after Cole got the three count on Dunne, pulling out the victory barely and retaining his title.
*Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, Dakota Kai, Toni Storm & Bianca Belair d. Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Lacey Evans & Rhea Ripley in a WarGames Match For the first time ever the women of NXT took center stage inside the revived WarGames match, with Shayna Baszler and her MMA compatriots teaming with Lacey Evans and Rhea Ripley against a cadre of faces. Baszler dominated the match early on, but was eventually taken out by a Moonsault from the top rope by Io Shirai. In the end, Evans would be pinned following a KOD from Bianca Belair followed up by an Elbow Drop from the Top of the Cage by Kairi Sane, giving the faces the win to close the show.

WWE Survivor Series November 18, 2018 Staples Center Los Angeles, CA
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] & The Revival [Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder] Wrestled to a 30 Minute Time Limit Draw [Usos Retain World Tag Team Titles] Two of the best technical teams in WWE battled for the World Tag Team Titles in a barnburner of a match. The contest went back and forth several times, with neither team able to gain a full advantage over the other for very long. The Usos even managed to kick out of the Shatter Machine at one point. In the end, the Usos nailed Dash with the One-D, only for the 30 minutes time limit on the match to expire, meaning that the match was a draw. Afterwards, both teams received a standing ovation for the great technical match between them.
*Asuka d. Ember Moon by Submission to Retain the Women's World Championship Asuka and Ember Moon renewed their NXT rivalry at Survivor Series, after Moon had earned a shot at a Women's Championship due to winning the Battle Royal at WWE's Evolution PPV. Moon to date was the only woman to pin Asuka in a one on one match, leading many to speculate that she might have the champion's number. Despite a valiant effort from Moon, Asuka eventually locked her old rival in the Rising Sun and picked up the win.
*Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush d. Sheamus by Pinfall to Win the Vacant United States Title Cesaro vacated the United States Championship when he won the World Heavyweight Championship back in October, leading to a title tournament to crown a new champion which culminated at Survivor Series. Cesaro's old partner, Sheamus, faced against The Alpha, Bobby Lashley. Lashley controlled much of the match with his powerful offense, but Sheamus was able to use a surprising amount of technical skill to fight back, leading to a bruising hoss match between the two. At the end of the match, Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick on Lashley, but was momentarily distracted by Lio Rush on the outside. Sheamus instead kicked Rush to the floor, but then turned around into a Spear from Lashley, which allowed Bobby to pin the Irishman and capture the title.
*Team Angle [Kurt Angle, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Randy Orton & John Cena] d. Team Bryan [Daniel Bryan, Akam, Rezar, The Miz & Baron Corbin] in a Survivor Series Match This year's traditional Survivor Series match saw Kurt Angle recruit veterans Randy Orton and John Cena as well as two of the members of the New Day to take on the man who had betrayed him at Summerslam (and who held the WWE Title that he was the top contender for), the "new" Daniel Bryan. Bryan had adopted a more "eco-conscious" gimmick, even throwing away the WWE title in favor of one made with "renewable materials." Bryan's team consisted of The Miz, Baron Corbin, and the Authors of Pain. - Akam d. Big E by Pinfall - The Miz d. Randy Orton by Pinfall - Baron Corbin d. John Cena by Pinfall - Akam & Rezar were both Disqualified - Baron Corbin d. Kurt Angle by Pinfall - Baron Corbin was Counted Out - Kofi Kingston d. The Miz by Pinfall - Kofi Kingston d. Daniel Bryan by Pinfall Sole Survivor: Kofi Kingston
*Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka d. Absolution [Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose] by Pinfall to Win the Women's Tag Team Titles Former Women's Champion Nia Jax had decided to seek out the Women's Tag Team Titles, teaming with her "island cousin" Tamina Snuka to take on Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Despite some underhanded tactics from the champions, Jax and Snuka easily dominated the champions, as Jax hit a massive Samoan drop on Deville before Snuka finished her off with a Superfly Splash to pick up the win.
*Ronda Rousey d. Charlotte Flair by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Championship The match was originally scheduled to be a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship also involving Becky Lynch. However an errant punch from Nia Jax on an episode of Raw broke Lynch's nose, making her medically unable to compete at Survivor Series. This didn't stop the self-professed "Man" from sitting at ringside for the match, wearing a protective mask over her face at the time. Despite Rousey's inexperience compared to Flair, she was able to match her hold for hold for the most part, owing to her submission styles. Flair did eventually get the upper hand, but was then distracted on the outside by Lynch, who when Flair got in her face, headbutted the challenger with her protective mask behind the referee's back, causing her to fall over. Lynch then climbed the guardrail and tossed the dazed challenger back into the ring, as Rousey was waiting. Ronda then hit the Piper's Pit on Flair to pick up the pinfall victory and retain her title.
*Cesaro d. Drew McIntyre by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship Before the match began, Samoa Joe took up a position at the commentary desk, as he had been named the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title on Smackdown by WWE co-director Shane McMahon, meaning he would challenge the winner at the 35th anniversary of Starrcade the following December. The newly crowned champion Cesaro took on one of the men he defeated for the title in Drew McIntyre, in a stellar encounter filled with counters and back and forth momentum shifts. In the end, McIntyre got the crowd behind him somewhat, and signaled for a Claymore Kick. only for Cesaro to dodge the move, catch McIntyre and hit him with two successive Zurich Bombs for the win. After the match, when Joe looked to maybe interfere with Cesaro, McIntyre helped the champion stand his ground as a sign of respect, causing the Samoan to back off for now.
*Team Lesnar [Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose & Andrade] d. Team Braun [Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles & Rey Mysterio] in a WarGames Match The other two halves of the World Heavyweight Title match were originally set to face each other in a Traditional Survivor Series match. However this was changed to a WarGames match with the different combustible elements contained (particularly Ambrose and Rollins, with the latter still suffering the effects of a concussion caused by Ambrose's repeated attacks against him.) Team Lesar won the advantage, with Zayn starting against AJ Styles. The Double Sided Cage Match continued until Braun Strowman was the last man to enter for his team, clearing the ring at the start of the match beyond. However, there was a twist in the end, as Shinsuke Nakamura suddenly turned on his teammates, hitting Mysterio and Strowman with a Boma Ye and then leaving the cage (opened for him by, surprisingly enough, Paul Heyman.) Lesnar looked on stunned, but Kevin Owens wasted no time in pinning Styles and getting the victory in the WarGames match for his team to end the show.
