Note: The concept of the Survivor Series is actually changed here for its first iteration (and possibly more, haven't decided yet.) It combines elements of WCW's Battle Bowl, where the teams are actually "randomized", resulting in strange bedfellows partners. This then ends with all surviving team members competing in a Battle Royal to close the show. Also in this universe, The Rockers were never fired in 1987, leading to them retaining their jobs and appearing at this event.WWF Survivor SeriesNovember 26, 1987Richfield ColiseumRichfield, OH*One Man Gang, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Bret "The Hitman" Hart & Shawn Michaels d. Royal Rumble January 26, 2020 Minute Maid Park Houston, TX
*Shayna Baszler Won the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match The Women's Royal Rumble match kicked off with Natalya and Lacey Evans squaring off, but the impressive showing of the night would belong to Naomi, who entered at #7 and lasted all the way to the end. Charlotte Flair entered in as the potential favorite, targeting a potential rematch with Bayley. However Flair had recently been approached by Nikki Cross, who wanted the Queen to mentor her, and that distraction allowed Sasha Banks to eliminate Flair in an upset. The winner would come in the form of former NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler, who came in as a one woman wrecking crew and took out everyone in front of her. The final three came down to Baszler, Naomi and Asuka, with the Queen of Spades taking out both competitors on her way to a dominant Royal Rumble victory.
*The Usos [Jimmy & Jey Uso] d. Los Lotharios [Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo] w/Zelina Vega by Pinfall to Retain the World Tag Team Titles Zelina Vega's new tandem of Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo had managed to get more success against the dominant tag champions, the Usos, than most thought possible, having beaten them in a non-title match on Smackdown (albeit by countout when Jimmy appeared to be injured). This led to Los Lotharios challenging the Usos at the Royal Rumble. However they were unable to duplicate the success they had before, as the Usos retained their titles following a double superkick and then followed up with stereo Uso Splashes.
*The Fiend d. Daniel Bryan by Technical Submission Daniel Bryan had recently made his return to WWE, seemingly abandoning the Eco-Warrior gimmick he had in his previous run and wanting to "make amends" with the WWE fanbase. However he was quickly accosted by the resident "conscience" of WWE in the form of Bray Wyatt, who tried to have Bryan be "true to himself", inviting him to an "Earth Day Summit" in the Firefly Fun House, where Bryan's sins were laid bare. Bryan took offense to this and attacked Wyatt in the Fun House, which brought out The Fiend (actually appearing on camera with Bray Wyatt, to the shock of the announcers) who attacked Daniel Bryan. This led to a match between Bryan and The Fiend, with people curious if it was Bray or someone else underneath the mask. Bryan didn't seem to care, as he simply went after The Fiend with reckless abandon, but nothing seemed to work against the demonic entity. In the end, The Fiend locked Bryan in the Mandible Claw and got the technical submission victory. Bryan however got back to his feet afterward and wanted to keep fighting, as the Fiend suddenly disappeared from the ring as the lights went dark and came back on, Bryan apparently surviving the encounter despite his loss.
*Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher d. Cesaro by Pinfall to Retain the World Heavyweight Championship After seemingly fluking his way to the World Heavyweight Championship the previous month at TLC, Jinder Mahal was out to prove that his victory wasn't a one-time affair, facing former World Champion Cesaro in a match without a championship advantage. Indus Sher accompanied their boss to the ring, but per this stipulation didn't get involved. Despite this, Mahal again looked like he was heading to a loss, as Cesaro hit the Zurich Bomb. However he was distracted by Sami Zayn appearing at ringside with his film crew, as Zayn had begun to "document" his unfair treatment at the hands of WWE management, claiming that he was owed a World Heavyweight Title shot. Like the previous month, the distraction bought Mahal time to roll up Cesaro from behind and get the near fall, before finishing off the Swiss Superman with the Khalass and picking up the victory.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. Sheamus by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship The Celtic Warrior Sheamus had lamented the fact that it had been years since he was a World Champion, and he looked to rectify that by taking on the King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura, for the WWE Title. Despite a good showing though, Sheamus couldn't put away Nakamura, who hit the Boma Ye for the victory. After the match, Sheamus was consoled by his friend and tag team partner Drew McIntyre on his way to the back.
*Becky Lynch d. Ruby Riott by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Women's Championship Ruby Riott had won the #1 contendership to Becky Lynch's WWE Women's Championship by winning a battle royal on Smackdown. The former leader of the Riott Squad availed herself well, but was unable to fend off the long running champion, who hit a Manhandle Slam from the 2nd Rope to pick up the victory. As Lynch was celebrating though, she was suddenly attacked from behind by the winner of the Women's Royal Rumble, Shayna Baszler, as the Queen of Spades was apparently not waiting to make her choice for who she would face at Wrestlemania 36.
*Drew McIntyre Won the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match Returns were the name of the game in this star-studded Royal Rumble, as John Morrison, John Cena, Kane, and to the shock of everyone Edge, all made their return here. Cena's return may have been the most consequential, as he had a staredown in center ring with Roman Reigns, who was pegged as a favorite going in, and then eventually eliminated him from the contest. Edge returned after being retired for 9 long years, having healed his neck injuries, and survived to the near end, spoiling the return of John Morrison (which had been heavily hyped by Morrison's tag partner The Miz) by eliminating him. Even Kane, the veteran, surprised everyone by eliminating Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles. Another favorite, Brock Lesnar, entered the match at number one, but had his night unceremoniously ended by the United States Champion Keith Lee, who easily lifted the Beast over the top rope with little difficulty (this would make Lesnar irate, as he laid waste to Matt Riddle in the aisleway as he was trying to enter, leading to his early elimination). In the end, Seth Rollins (now calling himself the "Savior of Sports Entertainment") looked to win back to back Rumbles, getting the luck of the draw of #30. But it would be the dark horse Drew McIntyre who hit Rollins with a Claymore Kick to send him sprawling out to the floor, giving the win to the Scottish Psychopath and putting him on the path to Wrestlemania. Sheamus, in a mirror of the actions from earlier, came out to celebrate with his mate to close the show.

NXT Takeover: Portland February 16, 2020 Moda Center Portland, OR
*Roderick Strong d. Matt Riddle by Pinfall to Win the North American Title The Undisputed Era had set its sights on regaining the gold of NXT, starting with the North American Title as Roderick Strong challenged the long running champion, Matt Riddle. The Original Bro had been a thorn in the side of the faction for several months, and this seemed to fill Strong with renewed sense of purpose, as he came out to the ring without his usual posse of O'Reilly and Fish. A competitive match followed between the two, with Strong pulling out the upset victory after hitting the End of Heartache on Riddle, picking up the title win.
*Io Shirai d. Shotzi Blackheart by Pinfall In a standard match, Japanese star Io Shirai continued her climb up the Women's Division in NXT, getting the big win over Shotzi Blackheart with a high angled moonsault from the top rope.
*The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] d. War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] w/Sarah Logan by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Tag Team Titles The Street Profits renewed their long standing rivalry with the War Raiders over the NXT Tag Titles. While the Vikings had gotten the best of the Profits in most of their encounters, this latest match between the two teams seemed far more even than they previously had. Montez Ford would eventually get the pin over Erik, hitting him with a High Angle Splash from the top rope to retain the championships.
*WALTER d. Adam Cole by Pinfall The two leaders of the most dominant factions in NXT, Imperium and the Undisputed Era, met in this match for dominance. Despite being at a significant size disadvantage, Cole had the speed on his side and was able to use a quick hit and run offense to keep the Ring General at bay. However, Cole was distracted by Pat McAfee on commentary at the absolute worst time, leading to WALTER hitting a thunderous series of chops before executing a top rope powerbomb onto Cole, getting the three count.
*Bianca Belair & Rhea Ripley Wrestled to a Time Limit Draw [Ripley Retains the Women's Title] The two premier women in NXT met in a one on one encounter again for Ripley's Women's Title, with a strict 30 minute time limit in place. Neither woman could seemingly get an advantage over the other, with both scoring near falls and both women kicking out of the other's finisher at various points. Ripley seemingly had the match won after hitting a Riptide from the 2nd rope, but the time on the match expired before she could get a three count, leaving the match a draw and who the better woman was up in limbo.
*Finn Balor d. Pete Dunne by Pinfall to Retain the NXT Championship The Once and Future NXT Champion Finn Balor defended his title against perennial contender Pete Dunne is a standard matchup. The Bruiserweight gave the Prince everything he could handle, but in the end Balor pulled out the victory after hitting a Coup de Grace. After the match though, Balor was attacked by the entirety of the Undisputed Era, who were looking to reassert dominance over the brand, as they left the Prince in a pool of his blood in the middle of the ring to close the show.

WWE Super Showdown February 27, 2020 Salt Lake Stadium Kalkuta, India
*AJ Styles w/The Club d. Kane by Pinfall to Retain the Intercontinental Title Shortly after the Royal Rumble, it was announced that Kane would be one of the headliners of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class. This drew the ire of Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, who claimed Kane wasn't worthy of the hall of fame, to which Kane responded by playing the clip of the Big Red Machine eliminating Styles from the Rumble Match. This set up a one on one encounter between the future hall of famer and the Phenomenal One with the IC Title on the line. Kane fared better than most would have assumed against the younger Styles, but AJ relied on outside interference from The Club to gain the victory. After the match, Styles, Gallows and Anderson teamed up for a 3 on 1 beatdown of Kane and left him lying in the ring.
*AOP [Akam & Rezar] w/Aleister Black d. The New Day [Xavier Woods & Big E] w/Kofi Kingston The ongoing feud between The House of Black and The New Day continued, with the Authors of Pain challenging Xavier Woods and Big E to a standard tag match, after both teams had cost the others chances to challenge the Hardy Boyz for the WWE Tag Titles in recent weeks. After a standard tag team match, Aleister Black and Kofi Kingston got into a fight on the outside, distracting the referee. While the ref tended to Kingston, Black sprayed a Black Mist into the eyes of Woods, which left him vulnerable to a massive spinebuster from Akam, allowing the AOP to pick up the win for their team.
*Alexa Bliss & Liv Morgan d. The Kabuki Warriors [Asuka & Kairi Sane] & The Island Queens [Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka] by Pinfall to Retain the Women's Tag Team Titles The ongoing feud between the duo of Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan against The Kabuki Warriors for the Women's Tag Team Titles was interrupted by the former champions, the so called Island Queens of Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka, who attacked both teams on an episode of Smackdown, leading to this triple threat match. Jax and Snuka controlled much of the match, utilizing their power advantage throughout, only for Morgan to sneak in a win behind their backs, pinning Sane with an Oblivion Neckbreaker to pick up the quick win and escape with the titles.
*The Miz & John Morrison d. The Hardy Boyz [Matt & Jeff Hardy] by Pinfall to Win the WWE Tag Team Titles The newly reunited team of The Miz and John Morrison had won a mini tournament to crown new #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles, challenging The Hardy Boyz for the belts. This took on extra meaning for the challengers, as they blamed the returning Edge for their failure in the Royal Rumble, and were looking to hurt him by taking out their longtime rivals in the Hardys. Matt and Jeff controlled the early part of the match, but The Miz used his trademark underhanded tactics, taking out Matt with a pair of brass knuckles behind the referee's back to effectively turn the match into a Handicap Match, with Jeff fighting valiantly, but eventually falling to The Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale followed by Starship Pain from Morrison, giving the challengers the win and the titles.
*Roman Reigns d. Aleister Black by Pinfall The Head of the House of Black had recently taken an interest in Roman Reigns, even costing Reigns a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship during a Fatal Fourway match on Raw. This led to a one on one encounter between the two, where Reigns aimed to take months of frustration out on the Darkfather. Black held his own, even using the Black Mist while the referee was down and hitting the Black Mass for a near fall. In the end, it would be a distraction by Kofi Kingston of the New Day, coming in and hitting Trouble in Paradise that would stun Black long enought for Reigns to hit a Spear and pick up the win.
*Naomi d. Bayley by Countout [Bayley Retains the Women's World Title] The long standing rivalry between Naomi and Bayley continued with what was billed as Naomi's "Last Chance" at the Women's World Championship. The former champion fought with all the ferocity that she could, knocking Bayley to the outside. Bayley feigned being unconscious and Sasha Banks distracted Naomi on the outside long enough for Bayley to be counted out, keeping the belt on the self-professed "Role Model" and seemingly leaving the Glow Artist out in the cold.
*Goldberg d. Jinder Mahal by Pinfall in a Non-Title Match Jinder Mahal was originally set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Kevin Owens in his home country of India, only for Owens to be taken out before the show even started by Sami Zayn. With Owens unable to compete, Mahal came out with Indus Sher and offered anyone in the back a chance to take on the Modern Day Maharajah, but only in a non-title match. The challenge was answered by WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, who made short work of the champion, hitting a Spear on every member of Indus Sher and then pinning Mahal with a Jackhammer to pick up the Non-Title victory.
*Shinsuke Nakamura w/Paul Heyman d. Keith Lee by Pinfall to Retain the WWE Championship [US Title Was Not on the Line] The United States Champion Keith Lee was the stated #1 contender to the WWE Title, and appeared ready to challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for the belt. However, before he made his entrance, he was attacked backstage by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was still clamoring for another shot at the man whom he had been feuding with for a year, but more importantly was seeking revenge on Lee, as the Limitless One had been the man who had eliminated him from the Royal Rumble Match. After Lesnar had finally been escorted out of the stadium, Lee made his way to the ring, obviously injured but still willing to compete. Lee gave as good of an effort as he could, but his injuries proved too much and Nakamura retained the title following a Boma Ye. After the match, the King of Strong Style decided to indulge his sadistic side, preparing to attack Lee again, only for Keith to be saved by Drew McIntyre, who stared down the WWE Champion to close the show.

WWE Elimination Chamber March 8, 2020 Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, PA
*Daniel Bryan d. AJ Styles, Mustafa Ali, Bobby Roode, Sami Zayn & Otis in an Elimination Chamber Match to Win the Intercontinental Title With Royal Rumble Winner Drew McIntyre challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Title, and the World Heavyweight Title #1 contendership being contested in a tournament on Raw, the Men's Elimination Chamber Match was instead positioned as being for the Intercontinental Championship. Mustafa Ali and Sami Zayn would start the match (which Zayn would point out as being prove of the "conspiracy" against him.), with Zayn also being the first person eliminated when Daniel Bryan entered the match at #3. The match would come down to AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan, with Gallows and Anderson orbiting the outside looking for a way into the cage or a way to distract the former WWE Champion. However, just as AJ Styles appeared ready to put away Bryan, the lights went down and flames erupted from the empty pods of the chamber. When the lights came back up, Kane was standing in the middle of the ring, where he proceeded to chokeslam Styles as revenge for the beatdown he had suffered in Kalkuta. Bryan then pinned the champion to pick up the win and the Intercontinental Title. - Sami Zayn & Mustafa Ali Started the Match at Numbers 1 and 2 respectively. - Daniel Bryan Entered the Match at Number 3 - Daniel Bryan d. Sami Zayn by Submission - Otis Entered the Match at Number 4 - Bobby Roode Entered the Match at Number 5 - AJ Styles Entered the Match at Number 6. - AJ Styles d. Otis by Pinfall - Mustafa Ali d. Bobby Roode by Pinfall - AJ Styles d. Mustafa Ali by Pinfall - Daniel Bryan d. AJ Styles by Pinfall Winner: AJ Styles
*War Raiders [Erik & Ivar] w/Sarah Logan d. Los Lotharios [Humberto Carrillo & Angel Garza] w/Zelina Vega by Pinfall Zelina Vega's "tag team project" of Los Lotharios issued an open challenge to every team in WWE, eager to prove themselves in the eyes of their manager. Their challenge, unfortunately for them, was answered by The War Raiders. The former NXT Tag Team Champions made their debut on the main roster, and laid waste to Los Lotharios, with Ivar eventually hitting to Doomsault on Carrillo to pick up the win. After the match, Vega left the team in disgust.
*Naomi d. Sasha Banks by Pinfall Naomi had lost her "last chance" for the Women's World Championship against Bayley the previous week, but WWE co-director Stephanie McMahon was willing to grant her another chance, due to the way Bayley had manipulated her way into keeping her title, but Naomi would have to defeat Sasha Banks to earn a shot at Bayley at Wrestlemania 36 in Tampa. With the Role Model barred from ringside, Naomi made the most of her second chance, eventually hitting the Glow Factor for the win over the Boss.
*The Miz w/John Morrison d. Edge w/Christian by Pinfall For several weeks, The Miz had been ridiculing the returning Rated R Superstar, Edge, for his comeback at the Royal Rumble (and had blamed Edge for his comeback ruining the chances of both Miz and the also returning John Morrison to win the Royal Rumble match.) This led to a match between the A-Lister and the Rated-R Superstar, which Edge surprised everyone by coming to the ring with Christian in his corner. The dual hall of famers were able to outwrestle Miz and Morrison in their respective avenues, but a ref bump prevented Edge from getting the pinfall. When Morrison began targeting Christian's injured knee on the outside, Edge tried to intervene, only to get a low blow from the Miz followed by a rollup for the pinfall victory. After the match, Miz and Morrison took out both Christian and Edge, trying to end the comeback of the latter after hitting him with a Con-Chair-To on his injured neck, leaving Edge to be stretchered out of the arena in Philadelphia.
*Shinsuke Nakamura & The Big Show w/Paul Heyman d. Drew McIntyre & Sheamus by Pinfall Drew McIntyre had saved Keith Lee from a beatdown at the hands of Shinsuke Nakamura the previous week at Super Showdown, and had also made clear that he intended to challenge Nakamura for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania, as per his right as the winner of the Royal Rumble. This tag match saw the Scottish Warrior team up with his longtime friend Sheamus against Nakamura and a mystery opponent, who turned out to be incoming WWE Hall of Famer The Big Show. Show wasn't much of a factor in the match till the end, when he KO'ed Sheamus with a Right Hand of Doom. McIntyre then KO'ed the soon to be inductee with a Claymore Kick, only to eat a Boma Ye immediately afterward from the champion, who then pinned his challenger to gain some momentum heading into Mania.
*Jinder Mahal w/Indus Sher & Goldberg Wrestled to a No Contest [Mahal Retains World Heavyweight Title] After Jinder Mahal had been squashed by Goldberg at Super Showdown, he was ordered to defend the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber against the Hall of Famer. It looked briefly as if the result would be the same, as Goldberg immediately opened the match with a Spear of Mahal, not giving the champion any time to breath. However before Goldberg could put away the champion (and indeed even before the bell rang), he was attacked by Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman. The two big men had a run in with Goldberg recently on Raw, leading to this attack and the title match being thrown out.

NXT Takeover: Tampa April 4, 2020 Amalie Arena Tampa, FL
*Candice LeRae d. Kay Lee Ray, Tegan Nox, Deonna Purrazzo & Xia Li in a 5-Woman Scramble Match to Win the NXT Women's "Brass Ring" In lieu of tournaments this year, the Takeover prior to Wrestlemania would serve home to 5 person scramble matches for both the women and the men on the roster, with the winner receiving a literal "brass ring" that could be cashed in for a title shot at any NXT event, ala the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Despite being the underdog in the match, the self-professed "Queen Bee" of NXT, Candice LeRae managed to sneak in a victory, pinning Xia Li with a roll up from behind and capturing the "golden" Brass Ring for the women.
*Imperium [Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser] w/Ilja Dragunov d. Grizzled Young Veterans [James Drake & Zack Gibson], British Strong Style [Trent Severn & Tyler Bate] & The Street Profits [Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins] by Pinfall to Win the NXT Tag Team Titles The Street Profits put their tag team titles against three top teams in NXT. Former champions British Strong Style appeared to have the advantage over the Profits, but the duo from Imperium (recently renamed to Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser to match their "real" names in storyline) took advantage of their stablemate, Ilja Dragunov, on the outside to steer them to victory, with Kaiser hitting a second rope clothesline on Zack Gibson following a top rope elbow from Vinci to pick up the win and the NXT Tag Titles.
*JD McDonagh d. Boa, Dominik Dijakovic, Mansoor & Austin Theory in a 5-Man Scramble Match to Win the NXT Men's "Brass Ring" On the men's side of things, the "Dominator" Dominik Dijakovic appeared to be the odds on favorite to capture the Brass Ring. However this was patently obvious to the rest of the field, as they all teamed up to take out Dijak as quickly as possible. In the end the Irish Ace, JD McDonagh, took out Mansoor with an Irish Curse Backbreaker to pick up the win and title shot.
*Johnny Gargano d. Tomasso Ciampa in a Non Sanctioned Match In what was billed as the final encounter between friends/enemies, former tag partners Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa didn't hold anything back, throwing everything including the kitchen sink at each other in a bloody brawl that crawled throughout the building. In the end, a nearly unconscious Ciampa barely stood to his feet and called for Gargano to finish him off. Johnny Wrestling hit a superkick that sent Ciampa falling off the stage and through a production table nearby. Gargano then jumped down with a weak splash and pinned Ciampa to finally win the feud between the two once and for all.
*Adam Cole d. Pat McAfee by Pinfall For several months the leader of the Undisputed Era, Adam Cole, had been plagued by former NFL punter and sports podcaster Pat McAfee, following an explosive confrontation between the two on McAfee's show. The athlete had cost Cole the NXT Title, and eventually led to Cole challenging the would be wrestler to a match at Takeover Tampa. McAfee did far better than anyone would have ever expected, even hitting an impressive moonsault for a near fall on Cole. The former NXT Champion would prove to be too much though, as he finished off McAfee with a Panama Sunrise. After the match, however, McAfee got a standing ovation from the crowd.
*Roderick Strong d. Finn Balor by Pinfall in a Champion vs. Champion Match to Retain the NXT North American Title and Win the NXT Championship For the first time ever the NXT North American Championship and NXT Championship were both up for grabs in this champion versus champion match. While Finn Balor had the experience edge, Roderick Strong managed to rally his reserves and hit the End of Heartache for the surprisingly clean win, taking the NXT Title in addition to his own championship. The rest of the Undisputed Era, including Adam Cole, came out to celebrate with Strong, though Cole looked more than a little reticent at the outcome of the match.
*Bianca Belair d. Rhea Ripley in a No Time Limit Match to Win the NXT Women's Title Following their time limit draw in January, the two best talents in NXT Women's Division, Bianca Belair and champion Rhea Ripley, fought again for the title in a match with no time limit and no disqualifications, ensuring that their would be a winner. Despite Candice LeRae seemingly hinting that she would cash in her Brass Ring during the match, otherwise the match was a reflection of their encounter in January. This time however, Belair was able to fight out of a Riptide and hit a Kiss of Death on the champion, picking up the win and becoming NXT Women's Champion for the first time to end the show.
