Hello everyone, I am UnderjohnKing and for the past 9 years I have done a Wrestling Rebooking History from 1993 thru 1997.

I'm going to give you all the backstory. Starting this in May of 2013 was not an easy challenge for me, but the more I improved on it, the more how hard I began to work at it, then I started doing both WWF & WCW at the same time when I moved on to the Fall of 1995 and It was very hard for me to do it, So i've decided to focus more on WWF and use WCW as quick results, then I started doing it Part-Time more sometimes, But I will always thank WFigs Proboards for giving me the passion to do what I did for the past 9 years. They are the best proboards faction of all time, next to Wrestling Clique and Wrestling Forum. But I feel like it's time to move this page to BeTheBooker.Net, So enough of the backstory, let's show what you did in terms of 1993 to 1997 with PPV Results.

1993:
In my booking of 1993, I kicked off the first RAW with the main event between Undertaker vs Bret Hart for the World Wrestling Federation Championship and the match was plagued thanks to interference from Ric Flair & Razor Ramon, moving on to the Royal Rumble, I had Undertaker win the 30-Man Royal Rumble because let's face it in real life, there was no potential big opponents for Undertaker in real life. So I let Undertaker win at WrestleMania 9 and take home his 2nd WWF Title. I decided to keep a list of superstars who were leaving before their time like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jim Duggan and others, Until I let Hogan & Flair leave after Summerslam 1993 after their best steel cage match, my WWF Championship focus was put on both Hart, Undertaker, Luger & Yokozuna. And yes. Luger won the title at Summerslam, But I let him drop the title to Yokozuna on a Free TV Monday Night RAW. Meanwhile I was building up more people like Razor Ramon & Shawn Michaels. I regretted Razor & Shawn have an all-time rivalry, stay on throughout 1994 and have their real life ladder match at WrestleMania X. But I didn't. I let Undertaker take time off injury so I made a monsterous opponent in Unabomb who i'm sure everybody knows at that time was Kane. So to be fair I wanted Unabomb to debut and come in big waves, first take Sid Justice out of the WWF and move on to The Undertaker. The Tag Team Division I never had a problem with, The Smoking Gunns were very relevant in my tag team Division of that year winning the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 9 and so were The Steiner Brothers, The 123 Kid & Marty Jannetty, The Quebecers, The Legion of Doom (which I kept), I also had some veterans like Legion of Doom, The British Bulldog & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart return giving them a chance, I also decided to have Jeff Jarrett debut in a big way and let him have Honky Tonk Man as his manager. And plus I wanted to have Diesel early as well. And I also wanted Steven Regal in my diary as well, cause you needed more flavor for the roster and Steven Regal was my go to as well. Also, don't judge me for this, but I decided to let Ric Flair's crew like Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard & Barry Windham also appear in the WWF to help feud with Hulk Hogan, but I let them go early in June after 5 months. I also incorporated some new matches in 1993, a Triple Threat Match at Summerslam between Undertaker, Yokozuna & Luger, and an I Quit Match between Bret Hart & Razor Ramon on that card as well. But here were the PPV results for 1993.

1994:
By the end of 1993, Jack Tunney stepped down as WWF President and gave the reigns to Sgt. Slaughter, before Tunney left however, Tunney would bring In Your House PPVs a little early and also let the WWF fans decide who would face Yokozuna for the WWF Championship, Razor Ramon, Davey Boy Smith & Mr. Perfect at the 1994 Royal Rumble, and Razor Ramon would have that opportunity, Owen & Bret would start out their rivalry by the end of 1993 after the Survivor Series, Jim Neidhart was on the side of Owen Hart while Davey Boy Smith was on the side of Bret Hart, The Undertaker returned to gain a measure of redemption against Unabomb & Sledgehammer and he did so, Meanwhile 1994 was very good for me as I moved Jeff Jarrett, The 123 Kid, Crush, Bob Backlund and others up in the card a little bit more, The 1994 Royal Rumble featured Diesel & Shawn Michaels winning the WWF Tag Team Titles, and plus Yokozuna retaining the WWF Title against Razor Ramon, Lex Luger would eventually win the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match over the #1 Participant Davey Boy Smith, I felt like Davey Boy Smith deserved the #1 entrant and stayed the lastest, also like in real-life. The Diesel Eliminations happened but he didn't clear the ring. My First In Your House was in February of 1994 with the inaugural main event for the show being Davey Boy Smith vs Yokozuna for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. WrestleMania X was one of the biggest things I did in my diary. I still had Owen vs Bret wrestle first like in real life because how can you change the match?. You can't, this match had good storytelling. Like I said I didn't do Razor vs Shawn, but both Razor & Shawn defended their respective titles, Razor defended his Intercontinental Title against Jeff Jarrett in which he came off on the losing end, plus I turned Tatanka heel a bit early in the Spring when he attacked Jimmy Snuka. I let Jimmy Snuka come back to do a few more matches in 1994, so his return was in the 1994 Royal Rumble, The Undertaker finally ended his feud with Unabomb in the first ever Buried Alive Match, and Lex Luger sent the MSG Crowd home happy by defeating Yokozuna to win his second WWF Championship, by the spring. I wanted to bring more talent in the roster, So I repackaged Johnny Polo as Raven to feud with The Undertaker and also bring in Hunter Hearst Helmsley, at the 1994 King of The Ring. I had Bret Hart win the Tournament to face Lex Luger for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Summerslam. I also let Diesel turn on Shawn Michaels after miscommunication between the two when they lost the Tag Team Titles to the Legion of Doom. As for the WWF Women's Championship, I wanted to do something with it, But by the end of 1994. I just decided to put it down, Survivor Series was an okay rebooking for me, It was no big deal, I had Bret vs Owen once again but this time they made history in the first ever Ladder Match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship with Bret winning and retaining the title, Also I Switched over the Tag Team Titles in 1994 to Michaels & Diesel, The Legion Of Doom, Yokozuna & Crush & The Headshrinkers. The Smoking Gunns started 1994 off as Champions. And also switched the Intercontinental Title to Razor, Jarrett, Davey Boy Smith & Hunter Hearst Helmsley. In December, I finally retired the last of the Golden Era of it's kind "Macho Man" Randy Savage, So I did a farewell match with him taking on Bret Hart for the WWF Championship in December of 1994 at an In Your House in which Bret won cleanly.

1995:
The end of 1994 ended with Lex Luger turning heel by my decision, I was ready to turn Luger heel after losing to Tatanka, at the start of 1995. Luger would then go on to join the Million Dollar Corporation, I kicked off 1995 in a big way by having Razor Ramon win the 30-Man Royal Rumble and having him face Bret Hart for the World Wrestling Federation Championship, WrestleMania 11 was held not in Hartford, but in the United Kingdom, why is because WrestleMania never held a show in United Kingdom, And I hope one day they will. I put Lawrence Taylor in a match, but not in the worst match against Bam Bam Bigelow, I teamed him up with Diesel to take on Shawn Michaels & Sycho Sid, I also got rid of Raven after The Undertaker defeated him in a Casket Match. In the Spring, I also had Roddy Piper in a match against Tatanka at WrestleMania 11 too. And plus, I turned Yokozuna into a face immediately as well, And the big one came when Razor Ramon regained the World Wrestling Federation Championship over the Hitman. RIP Bad Guy!. In April, Razor's good buddy The 123 Kid would regain the WWF Intercontinental Championship over Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but what I got after that was give Helmsley a little push so as early as it was, I let him win the 1995 King of The Ring over a recently face turned Shawn Michaels. I also brought Chris Jericho & Lance Storm as the Thrillseekers, they won the WWF Tag Team Titles over The Headshrinkers, but It was a temporary stay for them, I also brought Unabomb back to feud with Yokozuna and be a member of the Camp Cornette too, Meaning that I had top factions in Camp Cornette consisting of Owen Hart, British Bulldog, Unabomb & The Thrillseekers & The Million Dollar Faction in Lex Luger, King Kong Bundy, Sycho Sid, Kama, Mabel & Bam Bam Bigelow. But Bigelow & Bundy would be taken out in the Summer of 1995. I brought the Steiner Brothers back at Summerslam, And also debuted a big WCW star in the man they called Vader and his immediate feud would be against the WWF Champion Razor Ramon, but like in real life I had to let Lex Luger go after The Undertaker defeated him at Summerslam in a Casket Match. I threw Sgt. Slaughter out as WWF President and replaced him with Roddy Piper after a severe beatdown by Vader. And then I brought in some more talent, I brought Stone Cold Steve Austin, I decided to use his ECW Promos in the WWF Diary as well. I also had in Goldust, Public Enemy & Jushin Thunder Liger in the company as well to compete against WCW. WCW Nitro started in September, I had Razor stay on as Champion for the entire 8 months until he dropped the title to Vader at the 1995 Survivor Series and let The 123 Kid lose the Intercontinental Title to Goldust. I also did the whole "Shawn Michaels" collapse thing as well. So 1995 was a crazy diary for me.

1996:
1996 started off and kicked off what would be the start of the Attitude Era, In the early part of 1996, I had Vader as WWF Champion but he would drop the belt to Bret Hart at the 1996 Royal Rumble setting up a match between Shawn vs Bret at WrestleMania 12 with Shawn winning the Royal Rumble, I brought in superstars like Bradshaw, Public Enemy, Terry Funk, Mankind, Brian Pillman, Mark Henry & Others. Jake Roberts & Ultimate Warrior also returned for a few runs. At WrestleMania 12 like in real life, Shawn Michaels realized his boyhood dream by becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion, In my diary. I also did the KLIQ Curtain Call, so Diesel, Razor & The 123 Kid both left the WWF. I gave Razor the proper sendoff by having him vs Shawn in a Ladder Match for the WWF Championship finally recreating the WrestleMania X Real Life Ladder Match, So Razor left, Next Night on Nitro, Enter Scott Hall, and also Diesel left, Kevin Nash appears on WCW weeks later with Scott Hall forming the nWo with Hulk Hogan, 2 weeks before that, Stone Cold Steve Austin wins the 1996 King of The Ring after breaking away from the Million Dollar Corporation and cuts the iconic Austin 3:16 Promo. Mankind and Undertaker's feud begins as well. Paul Bearer betrays Undertaker for Mankind like in real life, Terry Funk is also in my WWF Diary as well and so is Jerry's kid Brian Christopher. Faarooq also appears and does the Nation of Domination thing plus feuding with Ahmed Johnson and also bringing in Marc Mero & Sable as well. At Summerslam, the belt was given back to Vader ending the Heartbreak Kid's Boyhood Dream. I didn't do the Fake Diesel & Fake Razor Ramon, so nope not doing that. Never cared for that like in real life. I repackaged Kama into Papa Shango again as he joins up with Paul Bearer & Mankind. Rocky Maivia of course makes his debut and Bret returns at the 1996 Survivor Series to have his feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the rest as they say is history for 1996.

1997:
The WWF was starting to make progress in the earliest year of 1997, The WWF started doing more hardcore & edgier products than ever, The Undertaker won the 30-Man Royal Rumble for the second time earning himself an opportunity to face Vader for the WWF Championship by last eliminating the #1 entrant Stone Cold Steve Austin. I brought more people in the roster like Tajiri, Taka Michinoku and some other people to rebuild the Light Heavyweight Division, Bret Hart turned heel in real life as usual, The Undertaker became the World Wrestling Federation Champion, Vader got pushed down to the midcard after the entire Kuwait Fiasco. Paul Bearer announced that Kane would come to the WWF to get rid of his brother. The Hart Foundation & The Nation of Domination were dominant factions, I put Ken Shamrock as the 1997 King of The Ring Winner. I migrated the Intercontinental Title status to Goldust, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Rocky Maivia, Owen Hart & Stone Cold Steve Austin. The WWF Title was regulated to Vader, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels & Bret Hart. I also used the "tombstone" storyline with Owen nearly paralyzing Stone Cold Steve Austin at Summerslam and bringing Kane to the WWF at Bad Blood, and plus the Montreal Screwjob as well. I only have 3 RAW's left in my 1997. But I have completed the 1997 Pay Per View.

WWF RAW IS WAR - December 15, 1997

Clips are shown of Last Week with Stone Cold Steve Austin forfeiting the Intercontinental Championship to Jeff Jarrett, and then stealing the Intercontinental Championship to Jeff Jarrett, and then coming out in the end of the night to help Owen Hart defeat Jeff Jarrett and thus earning Owen Hart the right to face Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event, tonight. What plans does Stone Cold Steve Austin has for the Intercontinental Championship?. And Owen Hart will be here tonight to discuss his match with Shawn Michaels at Saturday Night's Main Event. And also Kane will be here and he is in action as he takes on Chainz of the D.O.A.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Monday Night RAW.

Match 1:
The Rock & Faarooq vs Ken Shamrock & Ahmed Johnson
We kick off RAW is WAR with a Tag Team Match between The Nation of Domination of The Rock & Faarooq taking on Ken Shamrock & Ahmed Johnson. Ken Shamrock announced that at DX: In Your House, he would be a part of the 1998 Royal Rumble Match. Shamrock & Johnson start the match off intensely well, but The Rock & Faarooq fight back with a distraction by Mark Henry. The Rock & Faarooq wear down Shamrock a bit until Shamrock makes the tag to Ahmed. Ahmed throws right hands at Rock & Faarooq and takes Faarooq down with a spinebuster and nails The Rock with a Powerslam. Ahmed is cleaning house here tonight. The Rock slows down his momentum but Shamrock returns to the ring and hits The Rock with a Belly to Belly Suplex but Faarooq takes Shamrock to the outside. Ahmed sets The Rock up for the Pearl River Plunge but The Rock counters it and hits Ahmed with the Rock Bottom to get the victory.
Winners: The Rock & Faarooq

The commentators say that when they return to break, they will show footage from what happened after the Buried Alive Match with Kane burying The Undertaker alive at DX: In Your House, but what really happened after it went off the air with The Undertaker disappearing from the grave.

We go to the history of The Undertaker and Kane's history set to "Something In The Way" by Nirvana, that starts off with clips of The Undertaker being introduced at the 1990 Survivor Series.

Ted Dibiase's voice rings out while the guitar intro begins.

Then it goes to DX: In Your House with The Undertaker destroying Shawn Michaels only for Kane to ruin it and attack The Undertaker

Then it shows Kane tombstoning The Undertaker into the gravesite

Then we see Kane, Michaels & The New Age Outlaws bury The Undertaker Alive and with Kane setting the gravesite on fire

The music ends with Kane kneeling down in the Grave.

The Commentators say that they have exclusive footage of what happened after In Your House went off the air, Officials & WWF Superstars like The DOA. Flash Funk, Marc Mero, Steve Blackman, The Headbangers and The Blackjacks tried to undig The Undertaker alive as Officials put out the fire of the gravesite, The Gravesite was undug only for The Undertaker to be missing, but his words were heard to Kane, "Kane, Until our Cross Paths Again, I Shall Never Rest In Peace!". Ross states that who knows when or if we will see The Undertaker again and if The Undertaker does return, will he fight his own flesh and blood Kane after his final words he made at In Your House.

Match 2:
Marc Mero w/Sable vs Bob Holly
Mero's been on a losing streak lately but he hopes to continue that losing streak as he takes on Bob Holly. Mero takes control of the contest but he gets distracted by the fans chanting "Sable", that gives Holly an advantage to fight back in the match. However, Mero regains control and starts to badmouth Sable saying it ain't about her, it's about him and that allows Holly to surprise Mero with a modified spinebuster just as Mero tries to go for the Wild Thing. Holly pins Mero to get the victory. What a shocking upset as Bob Holly has defeated Marc Mero.
Winner: Bob Holly

After the Match. Mero begins to take it out on Bob Holly by assaulting him, but here comes Bart Gunn. Bart Gunn goes right for Mero and Bart tosses Mero over the top rope to the floor. Bart then helps Bob to his feet and they both shake hands and it looks like we may see a new tag team here in the World Wrestling Federation. Bart & Bob.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett, Dan Severn & Jim Cornette are on their way to the ring and they look like they mean business, Jarrett has called out Stone Cold Steve Austin to get his Intercontinental Title back.

Jeff Jarrett is making his way to the ring with Dan Severn & Jim Cornette. A clip is shown of last week with Stone Cold Steve Austin handing Jarrett the Intercontinental Championship only for Austin to steal it back. Jarrett says that last week was supposed to be a celebration for Double J. He was supposed to defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin and take the Intercontinental Title, but instead Austin decided to forfeit so the smartest way Austin did was to give the Intercontinental Title to Jarrett but what does Austin do, he takes the Intercontinental Title away from him. Jarrett says that he is the Undisputed Intercontinental Champion, Vince McMahon announced it, not Stone Cold Steve Austin, he's not the Intercontinental Champion, Double J is. So what Jarrett wants is to have Stone Cold Steve Austin come out and give him back the Intercontinental Championship Belt. Austin's music then plays and here he is but without the Intercontinental Championship. Austin says if he heard Jarrett right, he's ordering Stone Cold Steve Austin out to the ring, if Jarrett ain't watching. Jarrett doesn't order Austin to do a damn thing. Austin does what he wants, the same with Severn & Cornette cause he rammed a truck all over their asses. Austin says that he whipped Jarrett's ass because he took the Intercontinental Title Belt from him and last week, the tables were turned. Austin then says that he forfeited the Intercontinental Championship because he was in a good mood and had some mercy, Austin says that if Jarrett wants the Intercontinental Belt. He's going to find out where his belt's at. Grab a little monitor because he's got something to show Jarrett and that Jarrett will understand that when he messes with the 3:16. He's in way over his damn head. Austin then walks out. Jarrett then picks up a microphone and says that Austin thinks he calls all the shots but he doesn't. And he has one hour to return Austin's property, Jarrett says that if Austin doesn't return the belt, Severn & Jarrett will search the entire building, the entire area and drag Austin and beat his ass and let the people know what they think about him. Austin has 59 minutes and 30 seconds in counting or else he will injure and destroy Austin.

Match 3:
Vader vs Kurrgan w/Jackal
This is going to be an interesting match as we are going to see two big titans go at it, 2-time former WWF Champion Vader & Kurrgan. Jackal is on commentary with Ross & Lawler saying that Kurrgan will now be in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match. Vader tries to slam Kurrgan in this match but Kurrgan knocks him down and hits him with a big boot and a bodyslam but Vader kicks out. Vader battles back and is able to bring Kurrgan down with a flying clothesline off the top rope. Kurrgan gets to his feet and charges at Vader only to receive a powerslam. Vader then goes to the top rope and hits the signature Vaderbomb to get the victory.
Winner: Vader

Back from Break, and clips are shown from Last Week with Owen Hart defeating Jeff Jarrett to gain a shot against Shawn Michaels and keep his job despite interference from DX, Dan Severn & Kane. Owen will get his opportunity against Shawn Michaels at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Michael Cole is in the ring ready to interview Owen Hart as he makes his way down to ringside as we return to the WarZone. Michael Cole asks the tough questions, he asks Owen about his thoughts on what happened at Survivor Series when Vince McMahon instructed Earl Hebner to ring the bell and Shawn Michaels had the sharpshooter on Bret Hart. Owen says that after losing the Intercontinental Title to Stone Cold Steve Austin at Survivor Series, he thought that Bret would beat Shawn and leave the WWF Championship to the WWF and that the WWF Title would be decided in a tournament, that way he could've beaten Shawn Michaels's ass. But instead it didn't work out that way, so what happens. Bret is gone, Vince McMahon says that Bret screwed Bret well he doesn't believe Bret screwed Bret. Vince screwed Bret, and so too did Shawn Michaels. Owen says that all of his life, he's fought for his family and whatever problems he and Bret had in the past was all resolved, he remembers the match they had at WrestleMania 10 in where Bret came up to him that night and said that Owen was the better man. But Vince McMahon didn't think Owen was the right guy for the job. And yes, Bret may have gotten a lot of opportunities but Vince McMahon didn't see Owen Hart, British Bulldog & Jim Neidhart as main eventers, but now with all of them gone, Owen must do something to make the family proud, and he must do something to make Bret proud, that's why he came back weeks later to get redemption over Shawn Michaels. Owen says that now that he has his job back, he's going to show no mercy and no remorse for D-Generation X. At Saturday Night's Main Event, he is going to humilate Shawn Michaels and if Vince McMahon dares to show his face and tries to screw Owen. He's going to take him down too. Suddenly, Vince makes his way to the ring and says who does Owen thinks he is. Owen responds saying who the hell Vince thinks he is, he doesn't owe Vince a God Damn Thing, he's sick and tired of pleasing everyone and the bullshit stops here. Owen says that his brother Bret, Neidhart & Bulldog, they did what they had to do and now it's time for him to do what he has to do and that is remain here in the World Wrestling Federation so he can kick Shawn Michaels's ass and takes the gold, he spent 9 years busting his ass night after night, day after day to earn a reputation in this company and nobody is running him out of the WWF. Vince says he has a real good idea who he's talking about, he's talking about Shawn Michaels. And isn't that what is really all about?. He is attempting to gain the WWF Title, it's all about the WWF Title. Owen says that this is real life, his life, his reputation, his respect, his dignity, It may be about the WWF Championship but it's his respect & dignity. And he's not asking Vince, he is telling Vince what he is going to do and that is make Shawn Michaels's life a living hell before Saturday Night's Main Event. Owen says that Vince can call him the sole survivor & the black sheep, but he doesn't give a shit, this is real life. And Shawn Michaels started it and it's time for the nugget to end it. Vince says that what he is going to do, he believes that if Owen wants to get his hands on Shawn Michaels tonight before Saturday Night's Main Event, he's got it. Tonight, it will be Owen Hart teaming up with The Legion of Doom to take on The New Age Outlaws & Shawn Michaels in a six-man tag team match. Owen smiles at that decision. Vince starts to leave the ring and does so, but then the lights go out in the arena as Kane's music plays. Owen is leaving the ring as well as Kane & Paul Bearer make their way to the ring, remember last week. Kane also interfered in Owen's Match. Owen starts to stare down Kane but then he walks away not wanting to be attacked by Kane. Kane is in action against Chainz next.

Match 4:
Kane vs Chainz w/The DOA
A huge task for Chainz here as he takes on the undefeated monster known as Kane, Kane has been dominant as of late, he defeated Bret Hart in his first match on RAW. He also beat Goldust at the Survivor Series, but this is his third match here in the WWF. Chainz does everything he can to take the monster down in the early goings of this match but Kane is just too overpowerful. Kane even performs moves like a Light Heavyweight can do, Kane sends Chainz out of the ring with an impressive dropkick. Chainz gets back in the ring and starts to punch away at Kane but nothing works. Chainz whips Kane off the ropes and hits a big boot but Kane does not go down. Chainz goes for a clothesline but Kane hits a boot of his own knocking Chainz down. Kane then heads to the top rope and hits an outstanding flying clothesline taking Chainz down just like his brother The Undertaker. Kane continues to go to work on Chainz but Chainz battles back and eventually takes Kane down with a clothesline and a leg drop but Kane kicks out at 2. Chainz then whips Kane into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Kane hits an uppercut to the face and chokeslams Chainz to the mat. Kane goes for the cover and pins Chainz to get the win. What a victory for Kane.
Winner: Kane

After the Match. 8-Ball and Skull come in to attack Kane but Kane fights them off one by one. Kane tosses Chainz over the top rope to the floor and chokeslams both 8-Ball and Skull to the mat. Sycho Sid will be joined by The Undertaker in the morgue, and as far as The Undertaker's disappearance, he hopes The Undertaker is gone forever because The Undertaker never had a chance to fight his brother Kane and that means Kane is the more superior brother than his brother, and at the Royal Rumble. He is going to prove it when he defeats 29 other men and then go on to WrestleMania 14 where he can become the World Wrestling Federation Champion and Paul Bearer will be laughing all the way to the bank because 1998 guarantees to be the year of The Big Red Machine. Sycho Sid's music hits, but where is he. Wait a minute, Sid just came through the crowd. Kane & Paul Bearer are waiting for him, Bearer and Kane see him, Kane charges at Sid but Sid grabs him by the throat and overpowers him with a chokeslam. Sid just chokeslammed Kane for the second time this week. Sid gets out of the ring but look at that Kane sits up. Sid says that he ain't afraid of Kane, he'll be ready for him at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Match 5:
WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Match
Taka Michinoku vs Jinsei Shinzaki
for the first time on RAW. The Light Heavyweight Championship will be defended as Taka Michinoku will take on Jinsei Shinzaki formerly known as Hakushi for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Brian Christopher is on commentary. Taka and Jinsei put on a good light heavyweight battle, it's a back and forth light heavyweight match. Jinsei almost wins the match by hitting a springboard clothesline off the top but Taka is able to kick out at 2. Taka fights back and hits Shinzaki with the Michinoku Driver to get the victory.

After the match, Jerry Lawler has a microphone with Brian Christopher. Lawler says that at DX, That Japanese Cracker Jap stole the Light Heavyweight Title from Brian Christopher, so at Saturday Night's Main Event, Christopher has decided to challenge Taka Michinoku for the Light Heavyweight Championship. What does Taka say to that, Taka says in broken english that he accepts and Lawler is nothing but a jackass. Lawler is stunned speechless

Back from Break, and we see DX being interviewed backstage with Jim Ross asking Shawn Michaels how mentally and physically will he be for Owen Hart at Saturday Night's Main Event. Shawn says that he doesn't care which Hart Family he has to take on, it could be Stu, It could be Helen, Hell, it could be Owen Hart's wife Martha, the thing is that if there's one thing he's learned about Owen is that he is a little crybaby asking to get what he wants over and over again. Shawn says that at Saturday Night's Main Event, he will give Owen what he wants but he's not going to hand him the World Wrestling Federation Championship, he's just going to give him the ass kicking of a lifetime. The New Age Outlaws speak saying next as far as The Legion of Doom go, they aren't going to give The Legion of Doom nothing but jack squat. The Legion of Doom are just past their prime, it's time for them to go. Triple H says that as far as Ken Shamrock goes, he's been wanting another shot at the European Championship, well he's being very gracious, so at Saturday Night's Main Event, he's going to challenge Ken Shamrock for the European Championship and prove that he is the real World's Most Dangerous Man, and then not only will DX rule Saturday Night's Main Event, but they will rule the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania and the rest of 1998.

Match 6:
Goldust w/Luna Vachon vs Flash Funk
We haven't seen Goldust since DX: In Your House when Marlena cost Goldust the match against Sycho Sid, we've been informed also that Goldust will also be a participant in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match. Funk tries getting in some good offense against Goldust and he does so, but the distraction by Luna Vachon causes Goldust to get the win by hitting the Curtain Call.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett, Dan Severn & Jim Cornette are making their way to the ring and it looks like Austin's time is up.

We go to a promo with Vince McMahon saying that it has been said anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation but now more than ever, truer words have never been spoken, this is a conscious effort on their part to open the creative envelope so to speak in order to entertain you in a more comtemporary manner. Even though they call theirselves sports entertainment cause of the athleticism involved, the key to the word is called entertainment. The WWF extends far beyond the strict confines of sports presentation into the wide open environment of broad based entertainment, like soap operas, The Days of Our Lives, Music Videos such as those on MTV. Daytime Talk Shows like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich & others. Cartoons like King of the Hill on FOX, Rugrats on Nickelodeon, Sitcoms like Seinfeld, Friends, Boy Meets World, Roseanne, NASCAR Superstars on TV like Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon and other NASCAR Superstars, Football, Basketball & Baseball, Vince & The WWF think that the audience are having their intelligence insulted, they also think that they're tired of the same old theory of the good guys vs bad guys, Surely the era of the superhero urge you to say your prayers and take your vitamins is passe, therefore they've embarked on a far more innovative and contemporary creative campaign that is more invigorating than ever before, but due to the live nature of RAW & Warzone, they encourage some degree of parental discretion relating to the younger audience to stay up late, They are responsible TV producers and work hard to bring them the outrageous, wacky, wonderful world known as the World Wrestling Federation, through some 50 years, the WWF has been an entertainment mainstay in North America, and one of the reasons for that longevity, times have changed and so have they. He's happy to say that this vibrant, new creative direction has resulted in a huge increase in television viewership to which they thank USA Network & TSN to have the creative freedom, but more importantly, thanks the fans for watching, RAW is WAR and the Warzone is definitely the cure for the common show.

Jeff Jarrett, Dan Severn & Jim Cornette are back in the ring. Jarrett says that Stone Cold Steve Austin's time is up, and that he isn't out here what is rightfully his, the Intercontinental Championship, it shows that Stone Cold Steve Austin is a coward, he's managed to piss Jarrett off, so Jarrett is coming backstage to get what is his and that is the Intercontinental Championship and then after he's going to beat Austin's ass, then we see Stone Cold on the Bridge in the New Hampshire River outside saying that it's a beautiful night and that the moon is shining bright, the cars going back and forth, but no one on the bridge but Stone Cold Steve Austin with the Intercontinental Belt. Austin says that when he gave Jarrett the belt, he did just that. He didn't have to earn a damn thing. Well if Jarrett wants to find the Intercontinental Title, he's going to need a few objects, Austin says that Jarrett is going to need a mask, he throws a mask in the river and a snorkel, a regulator that Jarrett has to go deep. Austin brings out an oxygen tank and says that Jarrett will need it because he doubts that there's any oxygen, and also Jarrett will need flippers cause Jarrett may not swim worth a damn and a cell phone and when Jarrett finds the belt, Dial Austin's number and page him that he found the belt and Austin will give him the thumbs up. Austin says that it hurts Jarrett to do this but he really doesn't give a damn about him and the World Wrestling Federation, so the Intercontinental Title is going into the river and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. Austin says that if Jarrett's lucky, he'll find it, if not he'll drown. Jarrett is stunned, the Intercontinental Championship is going to the fishes tonight. Cornette picks up a microphone and has a wrapped present and says that the Intercontinental Title Stone Cold threw was a fake, because he has the real belt. Cornette opens it up and reveals the new Intercontinental Championship belt. Jarrett has a microphone and says that Stone Cold may have had the last laugh but Jarrett fooled him all along. Jarrett says that he wants to fight Stone Cold at Saturday Night's Main Event, but this time it won't be for the Intercontinental Championship. He's going to beat the living hell out of Stone Cold. Then suddenly the fans cheer because Stone Cold came through the crowd and he just nailed Jarrett with the Stone Cold Stunner. Austin then picks up a microphone and says that as far as Jarrett's challenge goes, he accepts and at Saturday Night's Main Event, whether it's for the Intercontinental Championship or not. He's going to stop a mudhole in Jeff Jarrett's ass and that's the Bottom Line cause Stone Cold said so. Austin then stands over a beat up Jarrett.

6-Man Tag Team Match
The New Age Outlaws & Shawn Michaels w/Triple H & Chyna vs Legion of Doom & Owen Hart
We end RAW with a 6-Man Tag Team Match between The New Age Outlaws & Shawn Michaels taking on the Legion of Doom & Owen Hart. Owen and Shawn start the match off, but Shawn makes the tag to Billy. Owen punches away at Billy and whips him into the ropes by hitting a back body drop. Owen then makes the tag to Animal, Animal then goes right for Billy, but Billy makes the tag to Road Dogg. Road Dogg & Billy hit a double elbow on Animal. But Animal makes the tag back to Hawk. Hawk goes right for Road Dogg, but he gets taken down with a kick by Michaels and that allows Road Dogg to hit a clothesline on Hawk. Road Dogg then makes the tag to Shawn. Shawn then punches away at Hawk and the team do a good job of wearing down Hawk. Until Hawk makes the tag to Animal. Animal is a house on fire but his momentum gets slowed down with Sweet Chin Music by Michaels. Michaels goes for the cover but Owen breaks up the count. Michaels and the Outlaws continue to work on Animal with Michaels hitting Animal with a flying forearm and an elbow drop off the top rope, but as he goes for Sweet Chin Music. Animal catches Michaels with a powerslam, Animal then makes the hot tag to Owen. Owen comes in a house of fire and he beats on Billy and Road Dogg and finally gets his hands on Shawn. Michaels & Owen are starting to exchange blows with one another. Meanwhile the LOD and The Outlaws are fighting on the entryway. Owen goes for the enziguri but Michaels counters it and goes for the sharpshooter but Owen throws Shawn off. Owen charges at Michaels only to receive a flying forearm. Michaels heads to the top rope and hits the elbow off the top and goes for Sweet Chin Music but Owen reverses and goes for the Sharpshooter but Michaels rolls out of it. Michaels then goes for Sweet Chin Music again but Owen catches the leg again and scoops Michaels up, he's going to hit a Tombstone Piledriver. Michaels reverses it but Owen takes Shawn down and he's got the Sharpshooter. Owen's got the Sharpshooter, can Michaels tap?. But wait a minute here comes Triple H. Triple H just hit Owen with a forearm and that is a disqualifaction win for Owen & The Legion of Doom.

After the match. The LOD enter the ring to go after Triple H & Shawn Michaels, The New Age Outlaws get back in the ring but they get taken out, but here comes Chyna. Chyna just double clotheslined the LOD to the mat. What an amazon she is. And now it's a 5 on 3. Michaels, Hunter & The Outlaws start to beat down on the Legion of Doom and toss them over the top rope to the floor and continue their work on Owen. Owen tries fighting them off but Chyna hits a low blow taking Owen down. Michaels then nails Owen with Sweet Chin Music and they begin to beat up on Owen again. Michaels then ties Owen to the ropes. The LOD return to the ring to fight back but Road Dogg has some chloroform soaked and he's got it on Hawk in the nose. Animal is knocked out of the ring, Michaels, Helmsley & The Outlaws all take out the announce table. Michaels & Triple H powerbomb Animal onto the announce table while the Outlaws shave Hawk's mohawk. Owen is still tied in the ropes but he's too helpless. Michaels gets in the ring and gets back in Owen's face and yells at him, taunting him with the belt saying that Owen will never beat the Heartbreak Kid, Michaels then hits another superkick on Owen while Owen is tied to the ropes and Owen goes down. DX has wreaked havoc here tonight but will they wreak havoc again on Saturday Night's Main Event?. RAW goes off the air with DX standing tall.

Good to see you still here alive and kicking. I do remember your rebook from way back in the day, enjoyed it back then as it was happening. I would say it might be beneficial to have a post which lists like who's been champion in the "previously on" part of this thread, as the long block of text can be kind of hard to follow along with. Not essential, but it would be nice to have.

Glad you're on board and look forward to reading more.

WWF RAW 12/22/97 RESULTS (Felt like Doing a Quick Result before Saturday Night's Main Event)

The show kicked off with DX handing out a present to the fans revealing their junk to the fans only for Sgt. Slaughter to appear and announce that DX would face off against Ken Shamrock & Owen Hart in a Tag Team Match and that the New Age Outlaws would face the winners of a Tag Team Battle Royal at Saturday Night's Main Event on the same night.

Then an interview was featured with Marlena saying that Goldust broke her heart in November and she's going to break him because she found a real man that will take care of Goldust and that he's coming to the WWF real soon, she revealed that his name was Val Venis and that he's an adult film star and that Val is a real man in bed.
Ahmed Johnson D. Kama, after the match. The Nation of Domination ran out to attack Ahmed only for Steve Blackman to make the save.
Terry Funk was interviewed saying that he accepted Dude Love's challenge and said that he was going to end Dude Love just like he did Mankind.

Clips are shown for the old school versions of Saturday Night's Main Event from 1985 all the way through 1996, shows clips of legendary stars like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, Paul Orndorff, Andre The Giant, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Ted Dibiase and others into new stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, D-Generation X, Kane, Jeff Jarrett, The New Age Outlaws, The Nation of Domination, Owen Hart and others set to "Saturday Night's Allright for Fighting" by Elton John.

Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts for Saturday Night's Main Event as the old school theme plays. Ross says that tonight's going to be a historic night to say the least, And that they're kicking the show off with tonight's Tag Team Battle Royal in which the winner of this faces The New Age Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Titles.

Match 1:

The Nation of Domination (The Rock & Faarooq) vs Ahmed Johnson & Steve Blackman vs The Blackjacks vs The Quebecers vs Bart Gunn & Bob Holly vs Tajiri & Jushin Thunder Liger vs The Rock N' Roll Express vs The Headbangers vs 8-Ball and Chainz (DOA)
A lot of big surprises in this Tag Team Battle Royal as we have The Quebecers and the Rock N' Roll Express as well, We have not seen the Quebecers since 1994. Ross announces that The Quebecers have signed a new contract with the World Wrestling Federation. The eliminations start with The Rock first eliminating Chainz getting the DOA eliminated first. The second elimination goes to Ahmed & Steve when they eliminate The Blackjacks with Ahmed eliminating Bradshaw with a clothesline. Tajiri and Liger next eliminate The returning Quebecers with Jushin Thunder Liger eliminating Quebecer Jacques after a green mist by Tajiri. Ahmed & Steve are the next to be eliminated by The Rock & Faarooq with Faarooq helping The Rock out as Steve Blackman attempted to eliminate The Rock. So we are down to 5 teams, The Headbangers, The Rock & Faarooq, The Rock N. Roll Express, Bart Gunn & Bob Holly & Tajiri & Liger. Holly & Gunn get the next elimination by eliminating The Headbangers, and now it's down to four teams. Tajiri & Liger are now eliminated by The Rock N' Roll Express, but they are the next to go out by Bart Gunn & Bob Holly. And now it's down to The Rock & Faarooq against Bob Holly and Bart Gunn. The two go at it for a brief five minutes but as The Rock & Faarooq hold Bob Holly up for a move. Holly ducks and The Rock accidentally hits Faarooq with a clothesline. And Gunn hits a tilt a whirl slam on The Rock. Faarooq gets up only to receive a clothesline by Bob Holly sending Faarooq over The Top Rope and Holly & Gunn have won the Tag Team Battle Royal and they will face the New Age Outlaws for the Tag Team Titles later tonight.

A clip is shown earlier today with a limousine pulling up and in that limousine is Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna & The New Age Outlaws. DX have a huge night ahead of them.

Backstage, The Nation are arguing over what happened in the Tag Team Battle Royal with Faarooq & The Rock. Faarooq starts to calm everyone down and announces that tonight the Nation will officially declare theirselves in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match, and later tonight. Mark Henry will prove that The Nation will dominate the Rumble when Henry takes on Vader tonight.

Match 2:
WWF Light Heavyweight Championship Match
Taka Michinoku vs Brian Christopher w/Jerry Lawler & Scott Taylor
For the first time on Saturday Night's Main Event, The Light Heavyweight Championship is on the line. As New Light Heavyweight Champion Taka Michinoku takes on Brian Christopher for the title. This is a good Light Heavyweight Battle, but the odds are not in Taka's favor as Brian Christopher has Scott Taylor and Jerry Lawler by his side. Brian tosses Taka over the top rope allowing Scott & Jerry to go after Taka with the referee being distracted by Christopher, but here comes Tajiri & Jushin Thunder Liger, it looks like they're here to even the odds for Taka. The match continues on with Brian gaining a whole lot of momentum and getting several nearfalls but Taka is able to fight back and hit a corkscrew moonsault on the outside to Brian. Taka brings Brian in the ring but Brian fights back and hits a DDT on Michinoku and goes to the top rope for the Tennessee Jam, but Taka rolls out of the way and Taka hits the Michinoku Driver to get the victory and retain the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.

The commentators announce that Kane's match with Sycho Sid is up next, Clips are shown of the Big Red Machine's destruction set to "Them Bones" by Alice N Chains. Then we see Kane walking backstage with Paul Bearer as his match with Sid is up next.

Match 3:
Kane w/Paul Bearer vs Sycho Sid
This is going to be a big battle between these two titans here. Kane, 7 foot tall, 326 pounds while Sid. 6'9. 317 pounds should be an explosive battle between the two monsters. Kane grabs Sid by the throat and attempts a chokeslam but Sid has Kane by the throat and both men exchange chokeholds with one another but Kane just tosses Sid into the buckle and begins to throw right hands at Sid. But Sid hits right hands at Kane and breaks free out of the corner. Sid kicks Kane in the gut and goes for a bodyslam but Kane counters and runs off the ropes hitting a massive running DDT on Sid. Kane runs off the ropes and goes for the elbow drop but Sid rolls out of the way and hits Kane with a clothesline sending Kane over the top rope but just like his big brother, Kane lands on his feet. Kane then grabs Sid's legs and hits a clothesline knocking Sid down. Kane then grabs Sid and tosses him straight into the steel steps. Kane tosses Sid back in the ring and Kane heads to the top rope and hits an amazing clothesline off the top on Sid. Kane goes for the cover but Sid kicks out at 2. Kane continues to wear down Sid. But Sid starts to battle back. Sid runs off the ropes but he gets a size boot to the face by Kane. Kane then hits the leg drop on Sid but Sid is able to kick out at 2 again. Kane grabs Sid and whips Sid into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Sid hits Kane in the face and throws right hands at the monster and brings Kane down with a clothesline and Kane goes down. Sid runs off the ropes and hits an outstanding leg drop but Kane kicks out at 2. Sid and Kane begin to exchange blows with one another and both men hit each other with big boots. But Kane doesn't go down for long as he sits up and so does Sid. Kane gets to his feet and goes for a chokeslam but Sid grabs Kane by the throat again and he hits a chokeslam on Kane and Kane is down. But the monster sits up and Sid is motioning for the powerbomb. Sid kicks Kane in the gut and he hits it. Kane's streak may come to an end with that powerbomb. But Kane is back to his feet. Sid kicks Kane again and he hits another powerbomb. 2 powerbombs on Kane. The referee is distracted by Paul Bearer and Sid sees it and Sid punches Paul Bearer in the face but wait Kane is up again. Kane has Sid by the throat. Chokeslam by Kane. And Kane is signaling for the end. Kane has Sid up, 317 pounds. Tombstone!. Kane pins Sid to get the victory in this hard fought monsterous match. The Big Red Machine dominates Saturday Night's Main Event. Kane has destroyed Sycho Sid here tonight, and that is a message sent to all the 29 competitors that will compete in the 1998 Royal Rumble because Kane is the odds on favorite to win this one.

Backstage. Terry Funk is making his way to the ring, his match against Dude Love is up next.

A video clip is shown of Terry Funk & Mick Foley's rivalry with Terry Funk being respected by the WWF fans in 1996 followed by Mankind making his debut later that year and how the narrator describes that Mankind & Terry Funk's feud has been the feud of the year of 1997. But at D-Generation X. Mankind was destroyed and beaten down by Terry Funk, and Mankind's friend Dude Love is here to get revenge on Terry Funk here tonight.

Match 4:
Terry Funk vs Dude Love
The Dudester looking to get his redemption against Terry Funk here tonight, but Dude doesn't want this to be a hardcore match, he wants this to be a one on one match. Dude aggressively beats up Terry in this match. Terry starts to roll out of the ring but Dude just goes to work on Terry and Terry rakes the eyes and goes to ram Dude into the steel steps but Dude tosses him back into the stairs. Dude then puts him in the ring and continues to beat on Terry. Terry is able to fight back by ramming Dude's head into the turnbuckle and look at Terry, Terry just throws right hands at Dude and Whips Dude into the ropes and nails a clothesline. Terry then punches away at Dude and yells at him as if he's Mankind. Terry is just aggressively taking Dude down but Dude somehow fights back and hits a russian leg sweep on Funk. Dude goes for the cover but Funk kicks out. Dude starts to make a rally in this match and he does so by hitting a Double Arm DDT on Funk or as Dude likes to say Sweet Shin Music. Dude then sets up for the Mandible Claw but Funk breaks out of the Mandible Claw hold by biting Dude's finger. Funk then gets back in the match and hits a piledriver on Dude followed by his famous moonsault off the top but he's not done yet. Funk rolls out of the ring and picks up a steel chair and another steel chair. Funk places them both in the ring and sits them down. Funk grabs Dude and Funk goes to piledrive Dude on the steel chairs and he does and the referee has to call for the bell.

After, Funk begins to take those chairs and wail Dude with it and the referees and officials tell Funk to stop so they can check on Dude. Funk lets them do so, but Funk doesn't want to stop. Funk takes Dude out of the ring and DDT's him to the outside. Funk wants to permanately injure and paralyze another face of Foley here tonight. Funk gets in the ring while officials and referees take Dude out of the arena. Funk says that he told Mick Foley that he should've not come back, but yet he does as Dude Love. Funk says that Foley does not deserve to breathe the same air that Mankind and Dude Love both had. Funk says that just like 1997. Mick Foley is now gone, 1998 is only beginning for the original Hardcore Legend and at the Royal Rumble, he will eliminate 29 superstars, whatever weapons he uses. He will use, he will destroy everybody in sight to win the 1998 Royal Rumble. Then suddenly familiar music plays as it seems like it's Cactus Jack's music. And by gawd it is Cactus Jack!. Terry looks like he has seen a ghost. And look at what Cactus has with him. A baseball barbedwire bat. Terry charges at Cactus and starts to stomp away at him but look at Cactus, he's fighting back against Terry. Cactus whips Terry into the ropes and hits a back body drop and Cactus takes Terry into the buckle and throws punches at him and runs off the ropes hitting a knee to the face and Cactus has picked up the barbedwire bat and it looks like he's going to strike Terry but Terry rolls out of the ring. Cactus has the microphone now in his hand and Cactus says that Terry destroyed Mankind and Dude Love, but he forgot about Cactus Jack. Cactus says that he heard Terry talk about the Royal Rumble, well for Mankind and Dude Love. Cactus Jack is going to be in the Royal Rumble Match and when Terry's in there with him. He will see him at the Royal Rumble so Cactus can show him what Hardcore is all about. Bang Bang!. Terry is scared and he should be because he saw the face of Cactus Jack!. And Cactus Jack may be the one that will take down Terry Funk if the two meet at the Royal Rumble!.

Before the Tag Team Title Match, Michael Cole interviews Bart Gunn & Bob Holly about the Tag Team Title Match. Bart says that he and Bob have been in the WWF for almost many years now and when they formed, they were tired of all the opportunities they weren't handed too. But now they're a tag team and they can beat the New Age Outlaws for the titles. Bob says that for 3 years he's been in the WWF but has never won a championship and now with Bart by his side. They are going to win the Tag Team Titles and show the Outlaws some respect. Bart says to Billy that when they were the Smoking Gunns, they were the Tag Team Champions. But all Billy's been doing is becoming a denegerate lately. And tonight, the denegerates will lose all of their titles tonight starting with the Tag Team Titles.

Match 5:
WWF Tag Team Championship Match
Bart Gunn & Bob Holly vs The New Age Outlaws w/Chyna
Last Monday Night on RAW. Holly & Gunn defeated The New Age Outlaws in a non-title match and can lightning strike twice for Gunn and Holly?. Bart Gunn's been a tag team champion twice. And it was WrestleMania 9 that Bart won the Tag Team Titles with Billy. And speaking of Bart and Billy, they start the match off. Bart and Billy, the former brothers exchange blows with one another with Bart getting the advantage. Bart whips Billy into the ropes and hits a back elbow and a kneedrop but Billy kicks out at 2. The Outlaws are able to battle back in this match against Bart and Bob. And they do a good job of wearing down Bart until Bart makes the hot tag to Bob. Bob comes in and cleans house on everyone and hits both dropkicks to Gunn & Dogg, Gunn & Dogg are able to fight back though in the middle part of the match, but Bob & Bart continue to regain the upper hand, but a distraction by Chyna allows The Outlaws to get the win and retain the WWF Tag Team Titles over Gunn & Holly.

In the ring, Goldust and Luna Vachon are in the ring. And it seems like Goldust is dressed up as the Christmas Tree. Luna introduces Goldust. Goldust starts reading the Christmas Book which boos the fans even more. Goldust starts to talk about the new year coming around. Goldust says that at the Royal Rumble, He is going to throw 29 people over the top rope and he will realize his dream at WrestleMania 14 becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion. He doesn't care who the WWF Champion is but as long as he tosses everybody out and he will get all the gold, now as far as Marlena is concerned. He doesn't care who he brings in, he may have to bring an army, but an adult film star named Val Venis?. Marlena must be crazy. Luna has a microphone and says that soon when Marlena brings Val to the WWF. Goldust will be ready for him and he will come out and play and he will never forget the name of Goldust.

Kevin Kelly is with Ken Shamrock as he talks to Shamrock about his match with Triple H. Shamrock says that he was robbed of the European Championship against Triple H at D-Generation X. But he cannot blame Owen Hart for it. Shamrock says that tonight he is going to knock Triple H off his pedelstool and become the European Champion. Shamrock says that 1997 was the year for Shamrock, he debuted in the WWF and he won the 1997 King of The Ring, but this time he is going to make 1998 an even greater year when he wins the Royal Rumble and after that, it will be on to WrestleMania to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion.

WWF European Championship Match
Triple H W/Chyna vs Ken Shamrock
Shamrock has been itching to get his hands on Triple H since DX: In Your House and he wastes no time going after Triple H after Triple H's entrance. Shamrock whips Triple H into the ropes but Triple H begins to retreat and take a breather in this match. Triple H gets his European Title Belt and tries to leave but Shamrock attacks and takes Triple H's head into the steel steps and he tosses Triple H in the ring. Shamrock continues to stomp away at Triple H, but Triple H uses the ropes to take Shamrock out of the ring and with the referee distracted by Triple H that allows Chyna to grab Shamrock and hit a snap suplex on the outside. What an amazon this Chyna is!. The Blueblood gets more momentum back in his side as he starts to taunt the fans. Shamrock tries fighting back but Triple H hits a spinebuster and Shamrock kicks out at 2. Triple H starts to wear down Shamrock but Shamrock fights back and hits a powerslam on Helmsley and Shamrock is starting to come back, Shamrock whips Helmsley into the ropes and hits a back elbow and follows it up with a clothesline. Shamrock goes for a belly to belly but Triple H punches away at him and heads to the top rope but Shamrock punches him in the gut and nails the Belly to Belly and it could be Anklelock time. Shamrock starts to go for the anklelock but Helmsley rolls out of the way. Helmsley tries to get on the apron but Shamrock grabs him by the hair and suplexes Helmsley back in the ring. Shamrock whips Helmsley into the ropes but Helmsley reverses it into a facebuster and Shamrock goes down. Helmsley goes for the cover but Shamrock kicks out at 2 again. Helmsley punches away at Shamrock and whips him into the ropes but Shamrock reverses it and Shamrock goes for a backdrop but Helmsley goes for the pedigree again and Shamrock reverses it into a catapult. Shamrock then hits a German Suplex taking down Helmsley. Shamrock goes for the cover again but still Helmsley kicks out again. Shamrock then hits Helmsley with the Belly to Belly again and he's about to go for the anklelock, but wait a minute here comes Chyna. She's on the apron, the referee is telling Chyna to leave and Shamrock is staring her down. Helmsley charges at Shamrock and goes for the pedigree but Shamrock counters the pedigree into a catapult again and this time Chyna goes flying off the apron. And Shamrock takes Helmsley by the ankle and hits the anklelock. He's got it locked in. and Helmsley is tapping, the referee rings the bell and we have a new WWF European Champion. Ken Shamrock is the European Champion.

What a way to end 1997 for the World's Most Dangerous Man as he is officially the new WWF European Champion. Shamrock said he was going to take out Helmsley and make Helmsley submit and that's exactly what he did. Michael Cole gets in the ring interviewing Ken Shamrock saying that he beat Triple H for the European Title. Shamrock says that he wants to thank the WWF fans for sticking with him this year winning the 1997 King of The Ring & now the European Championship. Shamrock says that D-Generation X threw every obstacle in him, but tonight. He ended the terror of Triple H and now he hopes that Owen Hart kicks Shawn Michaels's ass and takes the World Wrestling Federation Championship. But like he said, 1998 will be the year of the World's Most Dangerous Man when he wins the Royal Rumble.

Backstage, we see a host of superstars celebrate with Ken Shamrock as they pour champagne for his European Championship victory against Triple H. The commentators state that DX may be having a bad night, but Lawler says not to count out Shawn Michaels just yet.

Match 7:
Mark Henry w/The Nation vs Vader
This is going to be a garguantan battle here as the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry takes on the former 2-time WWF Champion in Vader. Vader and Henry square off as they exchange blows with one another with Vader getting the upper hand. Vader whips Henry into the ropes but Henry reverses and hits a clothesline knocking down the former WWF Champion. Henry grabs Vader and whips him into the buckle and goes for a splash in the corner but Vader rolls out of the way and hits a dropkick and down goes the World's Strongest Man. Vader then throws punches at Henry into the buckle but Vader misses a charge and Henry grabs Vader by powerslamming him to the mat. Henry goes for the cover but Vader is able to kick out at 2. Henry runs off the ropes and hits a few more elbow drops but Vader kicks out at 2. Henry then runs off the ropes and drops another leg but Vader kicks out again. Vader eventually makes a comeback and whips Henry into the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle but Henry doesn't go down and Vader hits a right hand and whips Henry into the ropes and goes for a back body drop but Henry knees him in the face and Henry charges at the Mastadon only to receive a spinebuster by Vader. Vader goes for the cover but Henry again kicks out at 2. Vader heads to the top rope and goes for a cross body block but Henry catches Vader in mid air and nails another powerslam and nails the big splash on the former WWF Champion. Henry covers Vader and shockingly enough defeats Vader to get the win. What?. One half of the Nation just defeated a former WWF Champion, hopefully that instills some momentum within the Nation of Domination.

Michael Cole interviews Stone Cold Steve Austin about his match with Jeff Jarrett. Austin says that like he said to Jarrett weeks ago, He really doesn't care about the Intercontinental Championship. He threw that old belt in the bridge to teach Jarrett a lesson because of what Jarrett did to the title and that was to steal it while Stone Cold Steve Austin was the Intercontinental Champion. Austin says that now with Jarrett having a new belt, he doesn't mind winning the Intercontinental Title again, all he's concerned about is the World Wrestling Federation Championship and that's why he is going to go straight into the Royal Rumble Match and win and whoop 29 others's asses all over that ring and he's heard in the back, that he's a marked man for the Royal Rumble Match. Well the bottom line if he's a marked man, he's going to strike first and that starts with Jeff Jarrett and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Jeff Jarrett w/Dan Severn & Jim Cornette
Before Austin's entrance. He is jumped by the Rock N' Roll Express. Has The Rock N' Roll Express joined Camp Cornette. Austin fights Gibson and Morton off and makes his way to target Jarrett but Severn starts to attack him and Austin fights back and clotheslines Severn over the railing. Jarrett's plan may have gone awry. Austin gets in the ring and the bell rings as he takes down Jarrett. Austin said that he's a marked man for the Royal Rumble well it didn't work for the Rock N' Roll Express who apparently has joined Camp Cornette. Austin tosses Jarrett out of the ring and there's a cat and mouse game between Austin and Jarrett. Jarrett returns to the ring and Jarrett charges at Austin only to receive a Lou Thesz Press by Austin. Austin drops the elbow and goes for the cover but Jarrett kicks out. Austin then hammers away at Jarrett and tosses him straight into the buckle and look at the Rattlesnake he is in no hurry. Gibson and Morton get back on the apron but Austin punches them both and that distraction alone allows Jarrett to battle back in the match and hit a dropkick and Austin kicks out at 2. Jarrett takes Austin into the buckle and throws uppercuts at Austin. Austin tries to battle back but Jarrett hits a knee to the gut as Austin runs off the ropes. Jarrett goes for the cover again but Austin kicks out at 2. Jarrett starts wearing down Austin with a sleeper hold. Austin tries fighting out of the sleeper and he does so. But Jarrett uses another submission move that is the Abdominal Stretch but Austin hip tosses Jarrett to the mat and hits a clothesline knocking Jarrett down. Austin and Jarrett are both down. Austin and Jarrett start to get on their feet and they exchange blows with one another but Jarrett has the advantage and Jarrett goes to the top rope and goes for a double axe handle but Austin catches Jarrett and stunguns him to the top rope and Austin grabs him nailing a spinebuster on Jarrett. Severn gets back in the ring but Austin hits him with a few right hands and sends Severn over the top rope with a clothesline. And if that was the Royal Rumble. Severn would be eliminated. Jarrett comes from behind and hits a DDT on Austin. Jarrett then sets up for the figure-four leg lock and he's got it locked in on Austin very tight. But Austin makes it to the ropes and the hold has to be broken. Austin gets to his feet and Jarrett charges at him only to receive the Stunner. Austin covers Jarrett and he gets the victory in this non-title affair.

After the match. The Rock N' Roll Express & Severn try to come in to go after Austin, it's 3 on 1. But Austin has no trouble fighting them off and sends Severn over the top rope with another clothesline and hits the stunner to both members of Rock N' Roll Express. Austin begins to celebrate, but suddenly the lights go out in the arena as Kane's music plays in the arena and then the pyros explode and here comes Kane with Paul Bearer, it looks like Kane is coming for the Rattlesnake. Kane enters the ring and Austin wastes no time going after the monster Kane, remember Austin and Kane first had an encounter a few weeks ago with Austin hitting Kane with that Intercontinental Title Belt. Austin tries to take Kane off his feet and goes for the stunner but Kane shoves him off and hits Austin with the chokeslam. What a Chokeslam by Kane!. And Kane starts to pummel away at Austin, but can he hit the Tombstone Piledriver on Austin because remember the last time Austin was hit with a tombstone, it damn near paralyzed him. Kane sends Austin over the top rope and takes out the announce table. Austin starts to fight back and rams Kane's head into the steel steps but it doesn't faze Kane. Austin grabs a steel chair and hits Kane in the face with it but Kane does not go down. Austin charges at Kane only for him to receive a boot to the face knocking down Austin. Kane then grabs the chair and Kane clocks Austin in the head with it. Kane then grabs Austin by the throat and chokeslams him into the announce table and Austin is down. Austin has been attacked by Kane. Kane who just beat Sycho Sid earlier tonight may have broken The Rattlesnake in half tonight. Kane then sets off his pyros, it looks like Kane is giving Stone Cold an example of what he may do to him & the 28 other superstars at the Royal Rumble. But the main event is here and it's time, Owen Hart vs Shawn Michaels for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.

A clip is set to Shawn Michaels vs Owen Hart set to "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath. It shows clips of Shawn & Owen's time in the WWF with Shawn and Owen both debuting in the company in 1988 and going to tag team and singles careers with Owen winning the Intercontinental Title and the Tag Team Titles with the British Bulldog, and it shows Shawn winning both the Intercontinental, Tag Team & The WWF Championship and clips are shown of the Montreal Screwjob and also Owen Hart getting his revenge on Shawn Michaels at DX: In Your House leading up to the match between the two.

Michael Cole interviews Owen Hart and says that the time has finally arrived. Owen says that Michael's right, the time has arrived. He's been waiting one long month for this, he's been waiting to humilate and embarrass Shawn Michaels, he said he really didn't want the title, but the WWF Title is what he wants anyway after he's done injuring Shawn and that's exactly what he wants to do tonight, because his brother was the greatest WWF Champion and he's going to do his brother Bret proud by becoming the WWF Champion and continue to carry on the Hart Legacy. Hart reminds Michaels that Shawn & his family friends brought this on theirselves and there is nowhere to run, he's got Shawn all to himself. And if Shawn's friends dare to ruin his night. He's going to take them out too cause he's promised to take Shawn out and that's exacly what he will do. And as far as he's concerned, the time for talking is over.

Owen Hart makes his way to the ring and the fans are going nuts for the man. But will Owen become the World Wrestling Federation Champion?.

Michael Cole then interviews Shawn Michaels with Triple H, Chyna & The New Age Outlaws. Michaels says that they've already had a tough night with Hunter losing the European Title but he is not mad at Hunter for that, cause they will get the European Title back, Shawn says that at Survivor Series, he ended Bret Hart, but tonight. He is going to end The Hart Family's dynasty for good because Owen brought this on himself and Owen's here for redemption but his redemption will be delayed and then after. Owen's wife will be calling Shawn so Shawn can give it to her all night long.

Shawn Michaels makes his entrance with the rest of D-Generation X as he makes his way to the ring. Shawn does his famous pose and it looks like the rest of DX will be at ringside for this match.

Match 9:
World Wrestling Federation Championship Match
Owen Hart vs Shawn Michaels w/DX
The odds are against Owen Hart, but it seems like he wants to take Shawn Michaels and the rest of DX down as Owen takes down Shawn with a spear and Owen starts to punch away at Shawn. Owen begins to kick Shawn around and whips Shawn straight into the buckle and Michaels does a flair flop and Michaels charges only to receive a back body drop. Michaels then retreats out of the ring. The Outlaws and Triple H get Shawn up to his feet but Owen hits a somersault dive taking them all down. Owen grabs Shawn and tosses him in the ring. Owen starts to punch the ribs out of Shawn Michaels and bodyslams him to the mat. Owen then grabs Michaels's legs and attempts the sharpshooter but thinks better than that and Owen hits a kick to the groin. Owen is just showing no mercy here tonight. Michaels fights back by raking the eyes of Owen and punches away at him and whips Owen into the ropes but Owen counters it and hits a clothesline taking down Shawn. Owen goes for the cover but Shawn kicks out at 2. Owen is still in control of the match but a distraction by Chyna allows Shawn Michaels to get back in the match. Michaels drop toe holds Owen to the steel steps on the outside. The referee is distracted by DX so that Michaels picks up a steel chair and Michaels hits Owen in the back of the head with it. Michaels then picks up the steel steps and the referee is still distracted by DX. Michaels then throws the steel steps right at Owen's back. Michaels picks up Owen and piledrives him into the steel steps. Michaels gets in the ring and instructs the referee to count but then gets out of the ring to go to the apron while he sees Owen up and Michaels hits a diving clothesline knocking Owen down. Michaels then tosses Owen back in the ring. Michaels then punches away at Owen and just beats him down going for the back of Owen. Michaels is single handedly regaining the momentum back into the match. Owen starts to fight back but Michaels knees him in the gut and bodyslams him to the mat followed by a knee drop but Owen is able to kick out at 2. Michaels starts to taunt to the fans and continues to take it to Owen in this match. Owen tries to fight back but Michaels tosses him over the top rope and Michaels goes to the top rope and hits a diving moonsault on the outside taking down Owen. Michaels high fives Triple H for a job well done. Michaels then tosses Owen in the ring and goes for the cover again but Owen is able to kick out once more. Michaels continues wearing down Owen and goes for the back by hitting 2 backbreakers but Owen won't go down. We know one thing, the Rocket is not a quitter. He can fight back with the best. Michaels locks in a sleeper and has it locked in for 2 minutes but Owen tries to battle back but Michaels takes Owen down with a neckbreaker. Michaels goes for the cover again but Owen kicks out at 2. Michaels locks in the sleeper hold again but Owen counters and hits the back suplex and both men are down here in this match. Owen starts to make a comeback and punches away at Shawn and whips Shawn into the ropes and hits another back body drop and Owen heads to the top rope and nails a missile dropkick off the top but Shawn kicks out at 2. Owen starts punching away at Shawn and goes for a german but Shawn elbows out of it and runs off the ropes only for Owen to hit an atomic drop followed up by a spinning heel kick. Triple H enters the apron but Owen punches him, Billy and Road Dogg enter the apron as well but Owen punches them both and Michaels gets to his feet and goes to send Owen out of the ring with a clothesline but Owen backdrops him out of the ring and Owen gets out of the ring himself. Owen then punches away at Shawn but Shawn counters and attempts to toss Owen into the ringpost but Owen ducks and Shawn hits the ringpost hard. Owen then rips the padding off. Gunn & Dogg try to get at Owen but Owen punches them both in the face. Owen grabs Shawn and sets up for a piledriver but Michaels backdrops out of it and Michaels tosses Owen back in the ring and what a back and forth encounter this has been for the WWF Title. Michaels goes to the top rope and goes for a double axe handle but Owen punches him in the gut and Owen picks Shawn in position for a German Suplex and he connects with it. Owen covers Shawn but Shawn is able to kick out again. Owen and Shawn have been putting on one hell of a battle here in this match. Michaels and Owen exchange blows with one another and Michaels whips Owen into the ropes only for Owen to reverse it and both men go down with a double clothesline. Owen and Shawn are both down, but they're able to get to their feet at the count of 9. Owen tosses Shawn over the top rope but Shawn skins the cat back in and Michaels goes for a hurracarana but Owen counters it into a powerbomb. Owen goes for the cover but Michaels kicks out again. Owen shoves Shawn into the ropes and goes for a move but Shawn hits him with a flying forearm and now heads to the top rope, can he go for the elbow drop?. Michaels connects with the elbow drop, but will he go for Sweet Chin Music. Michaels goes for Sweet Chin Music but Owen counters the Sweet Chin Music into a Belly to Belly Suplex, what a maneuver, Owen heads to the top rope and goes for a splash off the top rope but Shawn rolls out of the way. Shawn gets control of the match and Shawn goes for a piledriver but Owen catapults Shawn into the referee, the referee is down and Owen goes for a kick but Shawn catches it, however Owen breaks free and hits the enziguri on the Heartbreak Kid and Owen and Shawn are down again. But wait a minute here come The Outlaws & Triple H, they are attacking Owen. It's 4 on 1. Owen tries to fight back but Michaels hits Owen with the WWF Title Belt that was handed to him by Chyna. And DX & The Outlaws continue to beat down Owen, but here comes Bob Holly, Bart Gunn & Ken Shamrock. They have come to make the save for Owen. They send The Outlaws & Triple H out of the ring and they are brawling in the arena, officials and referees show up and even Sgt. Slaughter. Slaughter tells the referee that all parties are now banned including Chyna. Now this is a whole new ball game. The referee begins to stir and Michaels hits Owen with Sweet Chin Music, This is going to be a crime if Michaels beats Owen here tonight, Michaels doesn't go for the cover. Instead he goes for the sharpshooter, and look at this. Owen knew what was coming so he breaks out of the sharpshooter hold and Owen counters into a sharpshooter of his own. Owen's got it locked in, he's got it clinched in tight, will Shawn tap here?. The pain's gotta be excrucating for Shawn. Shawn is still in the hold for a minute. And Shawn is tapping out!. SHAWN TAPPED OUT!. SHAWN TAPPED OUT!. OWEN HART IS NOW THE NEW WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION!. THE FANS IN BOSTON HAVE GONE CRAZY!.
Winner and New World Wrestling Federation Champion: Owen Hart

The Boston Crowd is on their feet as the ring announcer awards Owen as the new World Wrestling Federation Champion, Owen after collapsing from the sharpshooter gets to his feet and sees the referee handing him the WWF Title Belt. Owen starts to cry and smile, what a moment for The Rocket. The crowd is going wild that they're chanting Owen. This is a huge moment in WWF History. Owen Hart hugs the belt and what a moment this is and here come the rest of the WWF Locker Room like Ahmed Johnson, Vader, Taka Michinoku, Jinsei Shinzaki, Tajiri, Jushin Thunder Liger, The Quebecers, Ken Shamrock, Bart Gunn, Bob Holly, Flash Funk & Steve Blackman. They all enter the ring, Vader & Ahmed hoist Owen up on his shoulders, what a moment here in the WWF. Not only has Ken Shamrock ended Triple H's reign of terror, but Owen Hart has ended Shawn Michaels's reign of terror. What a way of redemption for Owen Hart. His brother Bret won the WWF Title four times, but tonight Owen Hart can forever simply be known as the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Saturday Night's Main Event goes off the air with Owen raising up the WWF Title, what will this mean for DX this Monday Night on RAW?.

A clip is shown of Saturday Night's Main Event with matches happening on the show set to "Shoot To Thrill" by AC/DC and switches to the final ring of the bell in the Championship Match with Owen Hart finally doing the unthinkable and defeating Shawn Michaels to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship for the first time in his illustrious historic career set to "Dreams" by the Cranberries setting up a video package of Owen Hart and the matches he had in the WWF with the video package ending with Jim Ross's voice booming. "Tonight in Boston, Owen Hart can finally be recognized as the World Wrestling Federation Champion!!!!".

We cut to the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY with No Pyro as the fans are on their feet ready for a tremendous episode of RAW is WAR. Owen Hart's music then blasts in the arena as he makes his way to the ring in his first night on RAW as the World Wrestling Federation Champion as he is getting a big ovation, he is finally recognized as the man who conquered the entire D-Generation X and finally defeated the system as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are your hosts. Kevin Kelly is in the ring getting ready to interview the new World Wrestling Federation Champion. Kelly asks Owen how much of the 48 hours that has changed Owen Hart completely now that he finally has the one thing that alluded him in wrestling history, that his brother once held, the World Wrestling Federation Championship and how he finally defeated Shawn Michaels. Owen speaks and tells the fans thanks for their respect and that for many years, he was an asshole to everyone but all that has changed, and what changed the most was at Survivor Series when he was backstage after losing the Intercontinental Title and seeing what Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon did to his brother Bret, he knew that something had to change. He not only wanted Shawn Michaels's head on a silver platter, but he wanted to break his heart more, because 2 years ago, he put him out on the shelf, he didn't want to put Shawn out on the shelf again, he wanted to hurt Shawn more and more again and that's why he is no longer the World Wrestling Federation Champion and to Owen, it feels pretty damn good that he did it. Owen says that he knows he has a target on his back, but his dream is wanting to go to WrestleMania main eventing WrestleMania as the WWF Champion just like his brother Bret did all those times. And he knows Bret is in that other organization so if Bret is listening and watching this somewhere in Baltimore, MD. He says that he loves Bret and he did that for him last Saturday Night. Kevin Kelly asks that now that Owen is the World Wrestling Federation Champion, there is going to be a target of challengers that are going to be gunning for Owen, Including 1 of the 30 competitors in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match and that the winner would face Owen Hart for the title at WrestleMania 14. Owen says that he knows there are going to be a lot of big and strong and small guys gunning for the gold like Vader, Kane, The Rock, Faarooq, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the list practically goes on and on. But he is going to start off the new year with a bang and he is not worried about all those guys. Then suddenly D-Generation X's music plays as Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna are all down at the rampway without the New Age Outlaws because the Outlaws have a Non-Title Match against The D.O.A. in a few minutes. Shawn tells Owen that although he could come down to the ring and say his congratulations to Owen, all he could say is that Owen had the help of a referee, Sgt. Slaughter and 3 of his friends cost him the World Wrestling Federation Championship, that makes Owen Hart a cheater in Shawn Michaels's eyes, Shawn says that he's beat Owen numerous times. But even he would not stoop this low to cheat, Michaels says that since he became the main event of the place years ago, he took people out of the WWF just like he did his brother Bret twice, the first was at WrestleMania 12 and the last time was at Survivor Series!. And that is why Bret is not there anymore to back him up but just like Owen like he's done all those years, he has to take the easy way out and cheat like he always has. Michaels tells Owen that he's going to get a rematch, however. If Owen thinks it's going to be one on one, he's sadly mistaken, because at the Royal Rumble. He wants his rematch. Owen says that he already beat Shawn Michaels at Saturday Night's Main Event, what makes Shawn think that he can beat Owen. Shawn says that if history serves him correct, wasn't Owen Hart in his first ever televised Ladder Match at the 1994 Survivor Series?. Owen says yes. Michaels says that he invented the Ladder Match and the last time he was in the Ladder Match, he sent a guy packing from WCW just like he did his brother at Survivor Series 1997. Michaels says that at the Royal Rumble, it will be him & Owen in a Ladder Match for the Championship. Then suddenly Sgt. Slaughter appears and says that the match seems intriguing to him, but however. He thought of something else earlier today. If Shawn wants this match to happen, that he has to beat an opponent that he personally handpicked tonight. Shawn says that if he wants to fight for it, he will beat anyone to do it. Slaughter says that he's glad he agrees and he's glad that Shawn is confident, so tonight, his road back to the top will be against someone who is more hungry than Shawn, that person is, Triple H!. Triple H and Shawn look stunned as Triple H snatches Slaughter's microphone and says that he can't do that to him & Shawn, He's already entered the Royal Rumble 1998. He says that he'll be glad to wrestle for the WWF Championship, but not against his best friend. Slaughter says that he's already booked that match and he doesn't care if they fight, if they do not fight tonight. Then they will miss 1998 without pay!!!!. So what Slaughter suggests they do is talk amongst about it theirselves and get ready for the match. DX are livid, but Owen is in the ring with a smile on his face grabbing the microphone again saying good luck boys cause they're going to need it!. And whoever comes out of there, he will be waiting for one of them. Owen stares the rest of DX down with Michaels & Triple H still not happy about the match Slaughter made.

We cut to Backstage with Michaels & Triple H not happy at all about being in this match, then they see Sgt. Slaughter with Slaughter talking them into this match, Triple H then tells Slaughter that all Slaughter is trying to do is ruin D-Generation X right before New Year and ruining Shawn Michaels's new year right before New Year and Shawn Michaels's #1 Contendership Spot right before the Royal Rumble with him beating Shawn. Then Shawn looks at Hunter and says that he was with him until the point that he beat him, but with all due respect to Triple H. He doesn't get to wear the WWF Championship on each shoulder by being a loser, And incase Triple H doesn't figure it out, HBK doesn't lay down for anybody, then DX argue backstage with Chyna telling them to knock it off. Is there a possible rift between DX?.

Match 1:
Non-Title Match:
The New Age Outlaws vs The Nation of Domination (8 Ball and Skull) w/Chainz
The Outlaws are flabbergasted that their friends Triple H & Shawn Michaels have to face off although they joined DX a few weeks ago when they assisted Shawn Michaels in defeating The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match, so their mentality tonight may not be there against 8-Ball and Skull. Skull and 8-Ball hit some high impact moves by starting the match against The Outlaws, but The Outlaws are able to fight back against 8-Ball and Skull. The match ends however as 8-Ball and Skull are about to get the win, but the referee is distracted by The Road Dogg and that allows Billy Gunn to grab a steel chain from under the motorcycle and Billy hits Skull in the head with it and then pins Skull to get the win. The Outlaws have once again cheated to win and they have stolen it once more.

Backstage, we see the DX Locker Room, some yelling is heard and Shawn walks off with Chyna going after him.

A clip is shown of Cactus Jack making his return to go after Terry Funk at Saturday Night's Main Event, And Earlier Today, Jim Ross had the opportunity to talk to Cactus Jack. Ross asks that 3 months ago we saw Cactus Jack in Madison Square Garden defeat Hunter Hearst Helmsley, But at Saturday Night's Main Event we saw him in Boston go after Terry Funk. Cactus says that Terry Funk has destroyed the alter egos of Mick Foley, Mankind & Dude Love, but he hasn't destroyed Cactus Jack. And he cannot destroy Cactus Jack, the thing is. Mankind and Dude Love are going to be fine, but Cactus Jack will not be satisfied until he gets his hands on Terry Funk, whether it be out in the ring, out of the ring, in Terry Funk's home of Texas or in Cactus Jack's home in Truth or Consequences, Terry Funk has made this thing personal when he called himself the King of Hardcore, but for Cactus Jack, he went through tacks, nails, barbedwire, explosives, set himself on fire, and lost half a ear in Munich many years ago, and now he's here in the WWF to get rid of Terry Funk, because years ago, he and Terry Funk used to tear down the house together, and now that he's in the WWF. He wants to tear Terry Funk apart for what he did to Mankind and Dude Love. If Funk thinks the beating Mankind gave him at WrestleMania 13 was horrible. Then Cactus is going to do the same damn thing to him. Ross says that not withstanding Cactus will get his hands on Terry in the Royal Rumble Match because both men will be in the Royal Rumble!. Cactus says that it's going to be open season for Terry Funk because first of all, he's going to eliminate 28 other competitors and he just hopes it's him and Terry in the ring as the final two because when they face off as the final 2. Cactus is going to not only beat Terry down, not only going to eliminate him, but bludgeon him until he is a bloody and crippled mess and soon after, he doesn't care who the WWF Champion is, although he has a lot of respect for Owen Hart!. But at WrestleMania 14, Ms. Foley's baby boy will come home with the World Wrestling Federation Championship, bang bang!.

A clip is shown earlier today with Vince McMahon saying that in a very short while, the seats will be filled with WWF fans as they will reflect back of 1997 and they would like to thank all of the WWF fans for the wonderful moments they shared together and they promise that 1998 will be an action packed, the most enjoyable year ever in the World Wrestling Federation, as the old expression goes, You ain't seen nothing yet. There are going to be big time monsters like Kane, Vader & Mark Henry in the 1998 Royal Rumble Match. But who in the world is going to throw Kurrgan over the top rope in this match?. Kurrgan totally squashes Cicero like he's nothing and he gets the win by making Cicero tap out to the Iron Claw.

Ken Shamrock vs D-Lo Brown w/The Nation
What a 1997 that Ken Shamrock has had, first he wins the 1997 King of The Ring, and last Saturday Night, he became the third man to win the WWF European Championship, let's see what 1998 brings for Ken Shamrock. Could he win his first Royal Rumble Match?. Shamrock and D-Lo start off with a lockup in the center of the ring with Shamrock locking D-Lo up with a side headlock but D-Lo throws him off the ropes and hits a shoulder block on Shamrock. Shamrock is able to fight back and hit a few armdrags on D-Lo and has the match firmly in control, but D-Lo low bridges Shamrock over the top rope and while the referee is distracted by D-Lo. The Nation begin to stomp away at Shamrock, but then suddenly Ahmed Johnson, Steve Blackman, Bob Holly and Bart Gunn are out to possibly counteract the Nation and be in the corner of Shamrock. D-Lo now has the match in control as Ahmed, Blackman, Holly and Gunn are now probably in Shamrock's corner. Shamrock is able to fight back, but the referee once again is distracted by Kama and that allows The Rock to come in and hit Shamrock with the Rock Bottom!. Then Steve Blackman enters the ring and goes straight for The Rock and we got a brawl between Ahmed, Blackman, Holly & Gunn & The Nation on the outside. D-Lo goes to the top rope and goes for the frog splash on Shamrock but Shamrock rolls out of the way and D-Lo gets to his feet only to receive a belly to belly suplex and an anklelock to make D-Lo submit. And Shamrock survives his first European Title defense.

Backstage, We see Chyna whispering things to Triple H. Triple H says that he doesn't care what he has to do to his best friend Shawn, Shawn always claims that he lays down for nobody well tonight, he's going to lie down for Triple H and then he moves on to the Royal Rumble and becomes the World Wrestling Federation Champion and take the gold home to D-Generation X and then he'll offer Shawn a title match, he just hopes that Shawn understands that business is business tonight.

Backstage, we see Goldust and Luna Vachon dressed up with Goldust dressed up as a New Year's Baby Getup, what is Goldust got on his agenda, we'll be right back.

In The Ring, Goldust and Luna are already in the ring with Goldust wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!!! and in the New Year, his first mission is that he's going to win the Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania to face the WWF Champion, but right now. To end 1997, his mission is to call out Stone Cold Steve Austin because he knows that Stone Cold will be in the Royal Rumble Match. Goldust says that Austin is always talking and that he's the toughest SOB in the World Wrestling Federation. But he knows for a fact that Goldust is the toughest SOB and will damn well prove it when he spanks Steve Austin's ass right here and right now, he's got a present for him himself. Goldust likes to play Dress Up, He'll be his Party Girl, and Austin can be his Ken, so let's get it on right now. Then suddenly Stone Cold's music plays in the arena as he makes his way down to ringside. Austin then picks up the mic Goldust dropped and says that he's got a few things he wants to say, he can sit there and suck his little pacifier, everyone's talking about the New Year's Resolution, He doesn't believe in resolutions himself, in 1997. He nearly got paralyzed, lost a lot of blood at WrestleMania 13, won the Tag Team Titles and the Intercontinental Title and also stunned the Boss twice, In 1998, it rolls around and Stone Cold is still here. Stone Cold says that the language, the middle fingers and the violence continues because he is the toughest SOB in the World Wrestling Federation here. So since Goldust is a big piece of trash, a big piece of crap for dumping Marlena, he's got a big surprise for Goldust and Luna Vachon and he needs it down here right now. Austin looks up at the ceiling and something is lowering while Austin makes fun of Goldust's baby getup. Austin says to the ceiling to bring it down here, he ain't got all night. The black box is lowering still but Austin grabs the rigger and he pulls it up in the ring. Austin asks someone to unhook the damn thing cause he's in a bad mood and then tells him to hold the thing out of the way, and it's a PortaJohn!. Austin says that's exactly what Goldust thinks it is, it's a 4 out of 5 construction works surveyed that it stunk like hell when they were inside today, Austin asks the fans if they think it stinks in here, gimme a hell yeah. The fans agree to it and Austin says that Goldust's ass is going in so it will be the easy way or the hard way. Goldust is damn sure going to be in it. Goldust then charges at Austin and tries to attack but Austin knows it better and starts to beat the hell out of Goldust. Austin then tosses Goldust into the portajohn and closes the door. Austin picks up the microphone and says that's the way it goes when they mess with Stone Cold. And then Goldust gets back in there only to receive a Stone Cold Stunner for his troubles. Austin says that's the first commode he's ever whooped and it's not the last, as Austin continues to celebrate, the lights go out in the arena and Kane's music begins to blare in the arena. What's happening here?. We know Kane & Austin had a brawl on Saturday Night's Main Event after Austin's match with Jeff Jarrett. Kane then makes his way but he doesn't make his way to the rampway as he and Paul Bearer stand there on the Rampway. Bearer says that he hopes Austin has had his fun and Austin is right about some things, the violence will still continue because next week on the first RAW of 1998. Stone Cold Steve Austin will walk down the highway to hell when he faces Kane. Because what Kane did to Stone Cold last Saturday Night will be nothing compared to what will happen to him on the first RAW of 1998 and after Kane hurts Austin. Kane will make sure that Austin never makes it to the Royal Rumble Match, instead he's going to be spending the rest of 1998 in the Highway to Hell next to The Undertaker and Sycho Sid. Austin speaks again and says that he may go to the Highway to Hell but if he goes to Hell next week, he can damn sure bet that he's going to take Kane with him so Kane's challenge is accepted and as far as Paul Bearer goes, why don't he choke on that last piece of ham he had for Christmas because Stone Cold is going to deliver an open can of whoopass on Kane and Paul Bearer both and then he will go on to the Royal Rumble and will throw 29 son of a bitches including Kane over the top rope and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so. Bearer says then so be it because Stone Cold signed his own death warrant for next week and there will be nothing that Stone Cold can do when Kane dumps him over the top rope at the Royal Rumble and that's the bottom line cause Paul Bearer said so. Kane sets his pyros down as Austin stares down Kane. The two will collide next week on RAW!!!!.

Michaels says that nobody even his best friend is going to stop him from becoming the #1 Contender and defeating Owen Hart in a Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble to get his World Wrestling Federation Championship back because he will stop at nothing to beat Owen for it.

Bart Gunn & Bob Holly vs The Quebecers
Last Satuday Night, Bart Gunn & Bob Holly had a chance to win the WWF Tag Team Titles over the New Age Outlaws, but they failed to do so. Gunn & Holly however have a chance, but one of them will have a chance to win the Royal Rumble as they are going to be a part of the Royal Rumble Match. Gunn & Holly get the win with Holly hitting Pierre with the modified Alabama Slam to get the victory.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett, Dan Severn & Jim Cornette are being interviewed by Michael Cole with Cole saying that Jarrett has a big announcement, Cornette says that Jarrett sure does, Jarrett finally became the Intercontinental Champion this year and it looks like 1998 is going to be the year of Jeff Jarrett, because even though he lost to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Jeff Jarrett is finally going to g oto the big time, Jarrett says but first he's officially entering the Royal Rumble Match and so too is Dan Severn, and no offense to Dan Severn. But he is going to win the whole damn thing and whether it's Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels or Triple H. He's going to beat them at WrestleMania 14 and become the WWF Champion. Ken Shamrock then enters and says that Double J can make the claims saying that he's going to win the Royal Rumble but in the end it's going to be the World's Most Dangerous Man that walks out the winner, Shamrock says that he already has the European Championship so he wouldn't mind taking the belt Jarrett has around his waist. Jarrett says that he and Shamrock will face off but it's not going to be tonight though. Jarrett then walks out leaving Shamrock furious.

Flash Funk vs Marc Mero w/Sable
It's been a crazy few weeks for Marc Mero because Marc Mero has been obsessed with the fans chanting Sable but Mero can turn this around because he is also officially entering the 1998 Royal Rumble as well. Mero and Funk have a good match with Funk attempting to go for the 450 splash but Mero counters it and hits the TKO and then heads to the top rope to hit the Wild Thing to get the victory.
Winner: Marc Mero

Backstage, we see Vader walking down to the ring, the former WWF Champion fresh off his loss over Mark Henry is on his way to the ring as he is in action next.

Vader vs Bradshaw
This should be an interesting hard hitting contest between former WWF Champion Vader and one half of the Blackjacks, Blackjack Bradshaw. Bradshaw & Vader exchange blows to start the match off with Bradshaw getting the upper hand and eventually knocking the former WWF Champion down with a big boot and goes for the cover but Vader kicks out at 2. Vader battles back in the match but Bradshaw regains the momentum again by hitting the powerslam on Vader. Bradshaw goes for the cover once more but Vader kicks out. Vader battles back and attempts to win with the powerbomb but Bradshaw fights back and hits a DDT on the former WWF Champion but it's not enough to put Vader down. Vader fights back and nails Bradshaw with the powerbomb once more and nails him with the Vaderbomb to get the victory. Vader is cooking towards the Royal Rumble!.

Michael Cole interviews the WWF Champion Owen Hart. Michael asks if Owen is confident that DX is going to beat the hell out of each other. Owen says that he's waited for DX to crumble and collide and he's waited for this moment and tonight it's finally going to happen. He says that at the Royal Rumble, he doesn't care who wins whether it be Triple H or Shawn Michaels in that Ladder Match. He's got the belt and he's ready to prove to either Shawn or Triple H that he is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

We cut to a vignette with Marlena in the shower, apparently she's wearing nothing but a towel, Marlena says that she's been freshening up because she's getting ready to celebrate with her man, Val Venis, a man who is coming very soon to the World Wrestling Federation as seductive music is played in the background. Marlena says that her man has been doing adult film stars, he's been making the women happy and he's been making her very happy after that, something Goldust could never do. Val's been hard at work and he just got done finished making his adult video called "Live Hard". She bets everyone wants to see Val Venis, well 1997 is over, so everyone can get a hard look at him. We see a long haired man in a towel, it's Val Venis. Val introduces himself to the ladies. Val says that what Marlena has said is true, he's been very hard pleasing Marlena all night after pleasing the ladies after a hard day's work. Val says that Goldust really made a big mistake but Val is taking good care of her now. And when he penetrates the World Wrestling Federation.... All of the Ladies will take a look at the Big Valbowski because with Marlena by his side, he will not only please Marlena, but the ladies all night long. Val and Marlena go back to the shower stall with the shower door closed as sex noises are heard between the two.

Match 7:
Ahmed Johnson vs Pablo Marquez
A squash for the Pearl River Man who's had a rough 1997 after coming back from a career threatening injury last year and joining the Nation of Domination only for the Nation to betray him again, But 1998 might be a complete turn around for him. Ahmed totally squashes Marquez and gets the victory by hitting the Pearl River Plunge to get the victory and that's what he may do to 29 other competitors at the 1998 Royal Rumble. Because Ahmed is going to be in the Royal Rumble Match.

Backstage, Shawn Michaels & Triple H are on a split screen together, these two are about to fight for the right to become the #1 Contender at the Royal Rumble.

Both Shawn Michaels & Triple H make their way to the ring to the DX Music separately as Triple H is accompanied by Chyna and Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring himself, then Owen Hart's music plays as he makes his way out and grabs a chair to ringside and watches the two possibly and potentially go at it.

Number One Contenders Match, Winner faces Owen Hart at the Royal Rumble in a Ladder Match for the WWF Championship
Shawn Michaels vs Triple H w/Chyna
This must be Slaughter's revenge as he has ordered these two to face off, what a bad final weeks of 1997 this has been for DX. Both Triple H & Shawn Michaels lose their respective titles at the same time Last Saturday Night, Triple H lost his European Championship to Ken Shamrock and Shawn Michaels lost his WWF Championship to Owen Hart. Owen is sitting in a chair smiling and the bell rings and just as the 2 start to lockup. Shawn starts to talk to Chyna and continues to go back to Hunter. Hunter starts to lock up with Shawn, but he does the same thing and starts to talk to Chyna again. Remember this is for the #1 Contendership. Michaels and Hunter lock up but with Michaels taking Hunter down but what is Michaels doing and why is Hunter lying there?. Michaels runs off the ropes and stops and covers Helmsley to get the 1, 2, 3,?. What is this?.

Michaels and Triple H start to celebrate as the New Age Outlaws come out. Owen is dumbfounded, Michaels hugs Chyna and Triple H as it was all a scam all along. Michaels begins to fake cry and says that it's not an easy thing, defeating Hunter Hearst Helmsley to become the #1 Contender, Michaels says that he's been in Ladder Matches, Hell in A Cell Matches, Marathon Matches, but never as any match as so emotionally, physically and mentally drained as this one, he says that he loves Helmsley. Helmsley & Shawn hug one another with the New Age Outlaws. Hunter says that he just likes to say one thing that other than losing to Michaels, this is the greatest moment of his life facing his best friend and although he's not going to compete for the WWF Championship. DX is going to take the Royal Rumble. Hunter is going to win the Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels is going to become the three time WWF Champion and beat that nugget sitting over there. Michaels says that they made an ass out of Owen and Slaughter and that Michaels did it. As Michaels, Hunter and the New Age Outlaws begin to taunt to the fans. Owen gets in the ring with a chair in hand and starts swinging and he knocks Billy in the back with it and throws the chair in Road Dogg's face. Owen then knocks Triple H with a clothesline and takes down Shawn knocking him down, but it's a 4 on 1. It's a mugging. DX are doing a number on Owen. Owen attempts to fight back by throwing punches at them, but Chyna hits a low blow on Owen and Michaels hits Sweet Chin Music on Owen. Michaels then does a number on Owen by punching away at him. And what is Triple H doing?. He's looking under the ring, he has a ladder in his hand, remember that will be used at the Royal Rumble when Owen & Shawn face off for the title in a Ladder Match at the Royal Rumble!. The Outlaws hold Owen up so that Shawn can nail Owen in the face with the ladder. And Michaels is after all, the innovator of the Ladder Matches, because like he said earlier tonight he put one guy out of the WWF in a Ladder Match. And now Owen Hart is busted open from that Ladder shot!. Owen tries to hold the ropes to fight back and he does so but DX stop his brief fightback again and now they are taking Owen down once more. Owen does one last act by slapping Shawn in the face with Shawn holding him by his chin, but that's enough as Shawn tells Owen to suck it and Shawn kicks the bloody Owen in the head. Chyna then grabs the WWF Championship Belt that Owen dropped and hands it over to Michaels. Michaels tells the Outlaws to hold Owen up and they do so with Michaels smacking the bloody Owen in the head with the title belt. DX has ruined Owen Hart's first day of RAW as the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Michaels then gets in Owen's face. Michaels sets up the ladder and climbs it with the title belt in his hand and he raises it up with DX clapping for him as the final RAW of 1997 goes off the air.
