This Diary begins the night after Wrestlemania IX
I really stopped following wrestling as closely the year before. I was 16 years old, just started driving, my interests changed. I ordered the Wrestlemania 8 PPV the previous year and really did not follow wrestling much until Hogan joined WCW in 1994 and followed WCW much more then than I did the WWF. Eventually, stopped following again.
In 1996, I came across WCW Nitro to discover that Hulk Hogan was now a heel and I was definitely interested and began following wrestling again for several years. I enjoyed the Attitude Era to follow.
I don't enjoy today's product. It bores me. It lacks creativity and story telling. Today's product resembles a stunt show. I think there are many talented performers/wrestlers but the style and presentation of today's product is a turn off to me. Promotions have to shoot their wad each week because of live tv and it hurts story telling.
I miss the slower pace in the ring and the story telling in and out of the ring. Booking has always interested me more than the actual in ring action.
I missed a lot from 1992 to 1996. Going back and watching on the Network, I see a lot of potential in 1993. A lot of potential match ups and I have several ideas on booking. I have gone back and watched a lot of both WWF and WCW from this era to get an idea of what was happening in the world of wrestling which also gives me ideas for booking.
This Diary begins on the Monday Night RAW after WM 9. I think there are a few wrestlers in the eras after this one that would have fit in well in this generation of wrestling. I intend to bring 5 to 10 of them into this generation of wrestling. I think there are a few dream pairings that could happen. A couple of guys could have been monsters in this era. So you may see guys from today appear 5,10,20 years earlier than what they actually did as we rewrite wrestling after 1993.
I will incorporate and modify some story lines that happened after 1993 that I liked.
I have several stories I have had in my head for some time for both WWF and WCW that I look forward to sharing and playing out.
I intend to use weekly polls for viewers to decide which promotion had a better show for the week and use it as a form of ratings.
You will be updated on stars switching promotions and given access to "dirt sheets" that will provide some accurate information as well as a swerve from time to time.
I would love to hear which promotion you are enjoying more as I get going.
I like cliffhangers and swerves. That will likely be my writing style here.
If you are following, likes, comments are welcome. Hopefully I can provide some entertainment for people who follow this.

WCW prepares for launch for new program to air on Monday nights. Recently tabbed Senior Vice President, Eric Bischoff, has been told by Ted Turner to go all out with whatever he thinks it will take to make WCW a top tier company in the business. "We have some really exciting things lined up. We have made a couple of signings that I think will improve our roster. The program will be called "Nitro" and will be our main show and WCW Saturday Night will remain as our B Show. Stay tuned", said Bischoff when we contacted him last week.

Stunning news in the world of sports as former Heavyweight Champion, Mike Tyson, won his appeal, having his guilty verdict for rape overturned by an Indiana judge today. Tyson was met upon his release by good friend, New York real estate mogul, Donald Trump, who flew Tyson back to New York with him. No comment yet from Tyson on what is next for the former boxing champ.

Former boxing Heavyweight Champion, Mike Tyson, who was recently released on appeal from prison reportedly is not necessarily itching to return to professional boxing.
Tyson, who fired Don King, is now being managed by New York real estate mogul, Donald Trump. Both Tyson and Trump reportedly have met with Vince McMahon owner of the "World Wrestling Federation" as McMahon is interested in bringing Tyson into his promotion as an attraction if the money is right for both sides.
Tyson has expressed an interest in the idea of entering the world of Pro Wrestling if he does not return to boxing.

Tyson is the wwf 4 years earlier? Sounds interesting. Not sure if he'll hold any titles though, don't want to pull an arquette after all. It might be best if he was used sparingly, like make only sonic few appearances to help get more buyrates for ppvs. Does he still knock Shawn Michael's on his ass with a right hand?
