MATCH 1: Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito (78%, 3*)
The opening contest for RAW was Jeff Hardy versus Carlito. Hardy challenges Umaga this Sunday for the Intercontinental Championship.
Carlito comes down in a foul mood and a quick recap shows Carlito's Cabana from last week when John Cena F-U'ed Carlito through the hammock on set.
This mood carried over to the match as Carlito was super aggressive, taking the early advantage with a vicious looking swinging neckbreaker. Carlito would then apply a rear chinlock and yell at Hardy.
Hardy would get to his feet, and work his way out before dropping Carlito with his signature sitout jawbreaker. Hardy would then hit a double leg drop to Carlito's midsection. Hardy then went to the top rope but Carlito rolled out of the ring.
With Carlito trying to regain his equilibrium, Hardy went to the outside and ran up on the barricade before hitting a diving clothesline. Hardy tossed Carlito back in the ring and waited for him to get up to hit a Twist of Fate, but Carlito disengaged when Hardy rotated and hit a Backstabber.
Carlito went for the cover by Hardy kicked out at 2.99. Carlito couldn't believe it and argued with referee Mike Chioda, showing his frustration. Carlito waited for Hardy to get back to his feet and attempted a Springboard Back Elbow, but Hardy dodged it.
Carlito landed on his feet and Hardy went to boot him in the midsection, but Carlito caught his leg. After a couple of hops, Hardy hit a Mule Kick with his other leg and sent Carlito into a seated position in the corner.
Hardy then charged and hit his Hardyac Arrest corner dropkick. Carlito ended up in the perfect position for Hardy to finish him off with a Swanton Bomb for the victory.
WINNER - Jeff Hardy by Pinfall [10:02]

Umaga rolled out of the ring but then when tried to get back in, Hardy held onto the ropes and hit a dropkick through the ropes to Umaga, knocking him on his rear.

Melina would take on Mickie James next for a chance to be added to the Women's Championship Match @ SummerSlam between Mickie and the current champ, Candice Michelle, who was at ringside watching near the announcer's table.
Mickie and Melina locked up to begin and after each knocked the other down once, Mickie won the rubber match and took Melina down with a well-executed hip toss. Mickie then followed it up with a dropkick to the midsection of Melina.
Melina ended up near the corner and Mickie got her to her feet before sending her across the ring with an Irish Whip. Melina was now in the opposite corner but got her boot up when Mickie charged.
Melina then stomped away at Mickie before applying a Bow & Arrow submission. Melina eventually released the hold and got Mickie in the corner, before using her flexibility and choking her out with her foot.
Melina broke on referee Jack Doan's request and then stared at Candice Michelle and talked trash. However, by doing so, Mickie was able to get to her feet and fire up against Melina, knocking her down with a couple of forearms and then a neckbreaker.
Mickie signaled for her DDT, but when she jumped up, Melina threw her off and Mickie hit the mat with a thud and ended up on the outside. Melina went out after her and they were near Candice.

Orton then hit multiple stomps on Lashley while circling him before hitting a jumping knee drop. Kennedy then begged his way in and Orton obliged. Kennedy aggressively went after Lashley and hit a few rights before applying a headlock.
Lashley would get up and power out, dropping Kennedy with a sidewalk slam. Lashley then tagged in Cena, and Cena started on fire. Cena hit a couple of leaping shoulder blocks before hitting his signature spinout powerbomb.
Cena went for a Five-Knuckle Shuffle, but Orton caught Cena with a knee as he went off the ropes. This allowed Kennedy to take advantage, hitting a knee lift/neckbreaker combo.
Kennedy then put Cena in a side headlock and worked him over before Cena shot Kennedy off the ropes. Kennedy would hit a clothesline off the rebound to put Cena to the mat. Kennedy went right back to a chinlock and kept Cena grounded.
With the crowd behind him and Lashley stomping the stairs, Cena made a comeback and turned the headlock into another spinout powerbomb. Cena then hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Kennedy, but when he set up for the F-U, Orton ran into the ring.
Cena would use Orton's momentum and chuck him over the top rope before tagging in Lashley and going out after him. Kennedy, on the other hand, rolled out of the ring and Lashley also went outside.
Kennedy was trying to retreat and went behind the timekeeper's area, ending up on the other side of the barricade. Lashley followed him through and the two began trading blows. Referee Mike Chioda began a count and both pairs were brawling on the outside. The bell would then ring for a double countout.
