Pre Show
Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs Riho
(After turning heel, Britt Baker goes on a tyrade about the AEW Women's division, which draws the ire of Riho, who challenges her to this match)
The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) w/Alex Reynolds & John Silver vs SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky)
(After a loss to Sammy Guevara on an episode of Dynamite, The Dark Order try to recruit CD into their group, with Evil Uno telling Chris to "Stop losing, and start winning". Daniels refuses, and is beaten down by the rest of Dark Order. Sky and Kaz challenge Uno and Grayson to this match, which Dark Order accepts, saying it's not too late to join, because if they don't, The Exalted One will have his way. Before the match, Sky and Kaz tell Daniels to stay in the back, which CD reluctantly agrees to do. Following the match, Colt Cabana debuts to run down and try to save SCU, but is ambushed by Reynolds and Silver. The lights then go out, and when they come back up, and a cloaked figure is seen on the ramp. The mystery man takes off the cloak to reveal he's, Christopher Daniels, who then runs down and cleans house. A few weeks later, Mr. Brodie Lee makes his AEW debut, revealed to be The Exalted One.)
Main Card
Darby Allin vs Sammy Guevara
(Following his loss to Pac, Darby Allin is attacked by Sammy Guevara, who then wraps a chair around Darby's neck and stomps on it, sidelining Darby for a number of weeks. Darby returns a few weeks later, saving Jon Moxley from an Inner Circle beatdown, setting this match up.)
Dustin Rhodes vs Jake Hager
(On the 02/12/20 episode of AEW, Dustin Rhodes scores a victory over Sammy Guevara and challenges Jake Hager (who's at ringside) to a match at Revolution, calling Jake a failure in both pro wrestling, and MMA. Hage accepts, saying Dustin's gonna get beaten up so badly, he's gonna have to paint his whole face again.)
AEW Women's Championship
Bea Priestley (C) vs Kris Statlander
(Statlander wins a triple threat #1 contenders match over Nyla Rose and Hikaru Shida to become next in line for Priestley's AEW Women's Championship. Priestley says she sits at the top of this women's division, she's the face of women's wrestling, and Statlander just signed her death certificate by winning that #1 contenders match, cause she won't walk out alive at Revolution. Statlander says that someone needs to put Priestly in her place, and it's going to be her.)
Pac vs Orange Cassidy w/Best Friends
(On the 11/06/19 episode of Dynamite, Pac scores a victory over Trent Baretta, but during the match, Chuck Taylor distracts the ref while Orange Cassidy rolls into the ring and does his kicks taunt on Pac. A few weeks later, Cassidy & Best Friends score a victory over Pac & The Lucha Bros, with OC once again doing the kick taunt. After Pac's loss to Kenny Omega in their highly acclaimed Iron man match, Orange Cassidy interrupts Pac's interview, which doesn't sit well with Pac, who challenges OC to a match at Revolution, with Freshly Squeezed accepts by giving Da Bastard a thumbs up. This is the same match as in real life. Pac suffers an injury a few weeks later that sidelines him until November)
AEW Tag Team Championships
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (C) vs The Young Bucks
(On the 02/19/21 episode of Dynamite, The Young Bucks win The Revolution Tag Team Battle Royal to become #1 contenders to the AEW Tag Team Championships, with Kenny & Hangman successfully defending the AEW Tag Team Championships, setting up a match between the 4 Elite members for Revolution. Matt Jackson says that 1 year ago, this is the last thing he could've imagined, his 2 friends Kenny & Hangman, who are great singles wrestlers, being the tag team champions, which he's proud of them for, but that spot is for him and Nick to take. Kenny says that Matt & Nick are still the best tag team on the planet, but he and Hangman stumbled across something perfect at the right time. Hangman (who's still heavily drinking) says it's cute that Matt thinks that this is all about The Elite, because when he tried to quit The Elite months ago, they wouldn't let him, because they want to continue to watch him suffer. Nick says that Hangman was a jobber until he and Matt took him under their wing, put him in The Bullet Club, put him on BTE, and made him a star, so Hangman needs to let this inferiority complex of him not being a bigger star than Kenny or him & Matt go. This is exactly the same match as in real life, with Hangman teasing hitting Kenny with The Buckshot Lariat post-match, but not going through with it, instead helping Kenny leave the ring.)
Cody Rhodes w/Arn Anderson & Brandi Rhodes vs MJF w/Wardlow
(Mentor vs protoge, a showdown months in the making. Cody secures his match against MJF after taking the 10 lashes and winning the Steel Cage Match against Wardlow)
AEW World Championship
Chris Jericho (C) w/Santana & Ortiz vs Jon Moxley
(Moxley finally gets his title shot against Le Champion. Jericho says that Mox should've just taken the offer to join The Inner Circle, because now his left eye is about to match his right. Mox says that Chris Jericho has helped this company progress past its baby steps period, but now, it doesn't need him to be the flag bearer, so he's gonna send Jericho into a retirement home early.)

Double or Nothing 2020
Date: May 23rd, 2020
Location: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada
Card
Casino Ladder Match to determine who will challenge for the AEW Championship at Fight for the Fallen
Darby Allin vs Orange Cassidy vs Luchasaurus vs Kip Sabian vs Rey Fenix vs Scorpio Sky vs Frankie Kazarian vs Colt Cabana vs Brian Cage w/Taz
(Not much story, other than Taz constantly trying to recruit Darby Allin to be his client, with Darby constantly saying no. Rey Fenix also doesn't get injured before the match, meaning he isn't replaced by Joey Janella. Taz eventually has enough and recruits The Machine Brian Cage to be his client. Cage wrecks everyone, throwing Darby off a ladder then giving him an F10, hitting Luchasaurus with The Drill Claw, before climbing the ladder and unhooking the poker chip to secure himself a future AEW World Championship match.)
MJF w/Wardlow vs Jungle Boy
(On the 05/13/20 episode of Dynamite, MJF squashes Lee Johnson, and then calls out Jungle Boy post-match for a match at Double or Nothing, which Jungle Boy accepts. MJF also reveals that for the go-home Dynamite, Marko Stunt has a contract for a match on that episode, MJF says that he "did the world a favor" and signed the contract, giving himself a tune-up match before DON. MJF proceeds to beat the pi$$ out of Marko in this match, sending a warning for Jungle Boy ahead of Double or Nothing.)
Tournament Finals to crown the inaugural TNT Champion - Mike Tyson is the special guest enforcer
Cody Rhodes w/Arn Anderson vs Lance Archer w/Jake "The Snake" Roberts
(Shortly following Revolution, Tony Khan announces an 8 man tournament to determine the inaugural TNT Champion, with the participants being Cody Rhodes, Shawn Spears, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, Kip Sabian, Colt Cabana, and... THE MURDERHAWK MONSTER, LANCE ARCHER! Lance (who is revealed to have Jake "The Snake" Roberts as his manager) goes on a tear in this tournament, mauling Colt Cabana within minutes in the first round, before absolutely bludgeoning Dustin Rhodes in the Semi-Finals. On the other side of the bracket, Cody manages to get past Shawn Spears and Darby Allin on his way to the finals. A distraction by special guest enforcer Mike Tyson taking out Jake "The Snake" Roberts at ringside allows Cody to gain the upper hand and hit a trio of Cross Rhodes' on Lance Archer to become the inaugural TNT Champion.)
Kris Statlander vs Penelope Ford w/Kip Sabian
(After Revolution, Britt Baker begins to feud with Kris Statlander, with the 2 eventually agreeing to a match at Double or Nothing. Unfortunately, Britt tears her LCL days before the match and she's replaced by Penelope Ford. Ford scores the win after interference by Britt Baker and her new assistant, Rebel.)
Tag Team Match to determine the #1 contenders to the AEW Tag Team Championships
Best Friends w/Orange Cassidy vs Private Party
(Not much story here, just 2 teams vying for a chance to face off against AEW Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega & Hangman Page.)
AEW Women's World Championship
Bea Priestley (C) vs Hikaru Shida
(Shida defeats Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, and Nyla Rose in a Fatal 4-Way Match to secure herself a title shot against Priestley. Shida says that Priestley has become one of the biggest names in women's wrestling over the past few years, she's become World of Stardom Champion, and AEW Women's World Champion, but her tyrannical run at the top of the AEW Women's Division will come to an end at her hand. Priestley says that she stands head and shoulders above everyone in the AEW Women's Division for a reason, there is nobody who is on her level, everyone is beneath her, and if Shida thinks she's an exception to that, she's in for a rude awakening. Shida scores the win after 2 Falcon Arrowes to become the 2nd ever AEW Women's World Champion, ending Priestley's reign at 234 days. Priestley leaves AEW shortly after Double or Nothing to become her then-boyfriend Will Ospreay's valet in New Japan, before signing with WWE in 2021, becoming Blair Davenport.)
AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley (C) vs Mr. Brodie Lee (By Technical Submission)
(After he was victorious in a match against Frankie Kazarian on Dynamite, Jon Moxley is attacked by the recently debuted Mr. Brodie Lee, who not only attacks him with the rest of the Dark Order, but steals his AEW World Championship from him. Brodie then starts to claim himself as "the real AEW World Champion" following this, with Moxley challenging Brodie to a match at Double or Nothing, saying that if Brodie wanted a title shot, all he had to do was ask, but no, he had to go and pi$$ him off and take his title, which he'll pay for at Double or Nothing. Same match as in real life, with Mox giving Brodie a Paradigm Shift through the entrance ramp, and making Brodie pass out to a sleeper to retain his title.)
Stadium Stampede Match
The Elite (Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson) & #BROKEN Matt Hardy vs The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager)
(Following Revolution, Hangman Page and The Young Bucks agree to put their differences aside to do battle against their new foe, The Inner Circle. The Elite also recruits the recently debuted BROKEN Matt Hardy to give themselves an extra hand to help even the odds against Chris Jericho's other band. This is the same match as in real life.)
