Championship Manager (1992) was the first one I played, but I preferred the Premier Manager series until I got hold of Championship Manager 97/98.
Championship Manager 97/98 and Championship Manager: Season 01/02 are such awesome games and my favorites in the series.

Rebuilding Barcelona in 2001/02. The weakness have been lack of quality defenders and wingbacks, so Raphael Matusik (Mulhouse) and Anthony Reveillere (Rennes) have been signed. Dutch midfielder Edgar Davids (Juventus) are the major signing. |
