Main Show:
-We open to inside a sold out Lubbock Municipal Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas as Vince McMahon hypes up the show like only he can!
Vince: "This capacity crowd is on their feet & ready for Saturday Night's Main Event, right here on FOX! Two hours of ringside excitement that only the WWF can bring you! I'm Vince McMahon, alongside 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert!"
Eddie: "Vin-Daddy, I cannot wait for tonight's show to get under way! I can't wait to see Jake 'The Snake' Roberts plant the Macho Man with a DDT, then slap that gold digger, Elizabeth, around one more time!"
Vince: "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
Eddie: "You heard me! And I also can't wait to see the Beverly Brothers embarrass Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice & keep the WWF World Tag Team Titles! The Beverly Brothers have teamed together since they were little kids, & even have the Genius as their manager to give them extra guidance to get them over the top. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice haven't teamed up that often, & I wonder just how well they really get along these days after that blow up they had at the Royal Rumble. And Vin-Daddy, after the show tonight, I have a date with none other than Christina Applegate... that's right, Kelly Bundy herself!"
Vince: "You have a thing for blonds, but it never ends well for you from what I've heard."
Eddie: "Hey, that's water under the bridge."
Vince: "Well be that as it may, Sean Mooney is standing by with the Genius & the Beverly Brothers. And then, we'll go to Mean Gene Okerlund, who's set to interview Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice as we prepare for our opening contest, the WWF World Tag Team Title match, the first of four championship matches in what we'd like to call the World Wrestling Federation's Grand Slam. Take it away, Sean!"
We go to Sean Mooney, who is backstage with the Genius & the Beverly Brothers. The Genius brings up how he beat Hulk Hogan once before, to which Sean reminds him that it was a count out, he (Genius) cheated, & he got his comeuppance when Hulk beat him in a tag team match on this very program, Saturday Night's Main Event. The Beverly Bros. chimed in & said that the fact still remained, the Genius knows how to beat Hulk Hogan, & with his intelligence, they will have an unbeatable strategy to retain their Tag Team Titles against Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice. Sean throws it to Gene Okerlund, who's backstage in another interview area, standing by with Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice. They acknowledge that maybe they are indeed a mongrel team, & maybe they've had some disagreements recently, but friends always have disagreements. Hulk acknowledges that yeah, maybe the Genius figured out a way to get him (Hulk) counted out once before... "But I came back not even two months later & dropped the big leg on him, Mean Gene, & got the one-two-three. Genius & Beverly Brothers... WHAT ARE YOU THREE STOOGES GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA & SID JUSTICE DESTROY YOU?!"

-WWF World Tag Team Championship
The Beverly Bros. w/The Genius (Champions) vs. Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice (Challengers)
The Genius leads the champions, the Beverly Brothers, down the aisle first. They seem to have caught on as an act ever since winning the WWF World Tag Team Titles as the fans are booing them, giving them thumbs down.
Both Sid Justice & Hulk Hogan make their way down the aisle together. Vince McMahon notes this on commentary as he asks Eddie Gilbert "Does that erase all doubts now about whether they are on the same page?" Eddie responds that Hulk Hogan's ego is getting in the way again. "What do you mean by that, Eddie?" "Vin-Daddy, they're coming out to Hulk Hogan's music. If Hogan was the team player he claims to be, he would've come out here with Sid's music playing." "Eddie, I don't think they care whose music plays."
The Beverly Bros. struggled early on as Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice were amped up for this match, ready to win the titles! The Beverlys took a powder & regrouped with the Genius, who started to strategize a game plan on his mortar board. But Hogan grabbed Beau & Blake & hit their heads together with a double noggin knocker while Sid Justice ran over & nailed the Genius in the face with a running big boot, knocking him down to the floor. Hogan & Sid have things going their way until Beau Beverly manages to rake Hogan in the eyes. Beau & Blake cut the ring off in half & tag in & out, keeping the Hulkster from being able to tag in a fresh Sid Justice. Eddie Gilbert says "See?! I told you Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice can't get along!" Vince responds "What do you mean by that?" Eddie retorts "Well, if they got along, Sid would've tagged in by now." Vince is indignant & replies "The Beverly Bros. have kept Hogan from tagging out, Eddie! Are we watching the same match?!" The Beverly Brothers get a little arrogant, & it allows Hulk Hogan to recover, reverse a double clothesline attempt from the Beverly Brothers, & make the hot tag to Sid Justice. Sid & Hogan work well together again, & they have the match in hand. Sid tags Hogan back in. Hogan is playing to the crowd & doesn't see Beau Beverly pull the ropes down to cause Sid to fall out of the ring & to the floor. Hogan threatens Blake Beverly, who is begging Hogan not to hurt him. Hogan points over to Blake & acknowledges the crowd, but Beau Beverly runs into the ring with a steel chair & blasts Hogan in the back with it so hard, it knocks him face down to the canvas as the referee calls for the bell.
Winners by DQ: Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice
Still champions due to DQ: Beverly Bros.
Score: 73
-After the match, the Beverly Brothers are stomping down on Hogan. Beau goes to hit Hogan with the chair again, but now Sid Justice has recovered & runs into the ring, grabbing the chair. He swings it, but the Beverly Brothers get out of the ring as fast as they can, meeting the Genius in the aisle as he gives them their WWF Tag Team Title belts. Sid Justice is daring them to return to the ring & fight like men while holding the steel chair. Hogan is getting back up & sees Sid holding the chair. Hogan looks on at Sid & doesn't seem to happy. Sid turns around & Hogan points with his thumb to his back & asks Sid why he hit him with that chair. Sid is insisting that he didn't hit him with the chair, Beau Beverly did. Meanwhile, the Genius & Beverly Brothers are laughing it up as they head to the back.
Eddie: "Haha! I knew the Genius had a gameplan! Not only have the Beverly Brothers retained the WWF Tag Team Titles, but they may have permanently split up the duo of Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice!"
Vince: "I wish someone would get down there right now & show Hogan the video of Beau Beverly hitting him with the chair!"
Eddie: "Think about it, Vin-Daddy. Hulk Hogan never saw who hit him because Beau Beverly hit him from behind."
Hogan & Sid continue to argue as the referee & officials rush down to keep them separated.
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake runs down to the ring & defends Sid Justice, telling Hulk Hogan that he was watching on the monitor & saw Beau Beverly hit Hogan with the chair, not Sid. Hogan realizes he was wrong, but is not saying a word as he's trying to cool off. Bruti tells Hogan & Sid to get to the back so they can all hash this out.

COMMERCIAL BREAK
-WWF Intercontinental Championship
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (Champion) vs. Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart (Challenger)
Jim Neidhart is in the ring playing to the crowd while his theme music is playing, having made his way down the aisle during the commercial break because of the time constraints of network television.
As Ted DiBiase is making his way to the ring, Vince McMahon notes that Lord Alfred Hayes will attempt to get a word with Hulk Hogan, Sid Justice & Brutus Beefcake to see if everything had been sorted out after what we witnessed earlier.
Onto the Intercontinental Title match. While it was a match that was only around five minutes (there's only two hours for this network TV special, after all), both men were able to get an equal amount of offense in. In fact, Jim Neidhart opened the match like a house of fire, catching Ted DiBiase off guard. DiBiase didn't seem to have an answer for Neidhart's powerhouse offense until the Anvil got distracted when he saw Sensational Sherri & Brian Knobbs start making their way to the ring. However, they stopped halfway up the aisle as DiBiase caught Neidhart from behind with a back suplex to get the match going in his favor. DiBiase with a fist drop, then a cover, but Neidhart kicks out at two. DiBiase went to throw Neidhart into the ropes, but Neidhart reversed & hit DiBiase with a thunderous powerslam. That's when Sensational Sherri & Brian Knobbs started to resume their walk down the aisle as Vince McMahon noticed that Jerry Sags was nowhere to be seen. Eddie Gilbert claimed that he heard Jerry Sags was auditioning for a guest starring role on Beverly Hills 90210. Vince of course thought that was ridiculous while Eddie claimed that Jennie Garth had the hots for Sags. Vince retorted that he figured that Sags would be more of a Shannon Doherty type of guy. As Sensational Sherri & Brian Knobbs started making their way down to the ringside, Koko B. Ware came running down to make sure Sherri & Brian didn't pull any funny business. The referee was distracted as he stepped out of the ring to keep the two separated, which allowed for Jerry Sags to run in through the crowd, slide into the ring & lay Neidhart out with a running clothesline!
Vince: "Beverly Hills 90210, huh?!"
Eddie: "OK, so I was misinformed!"
Sensational Sherri & Brian Knobbs begin to back up as Koko yells at them "That's what I thought!" The ref, seeing that things are back under control, gets back into the ring in time to see DiBiase hit another fist drop on Neidhart then go for the cover. ONE... TWO... THREE!
Winner by pinfall & STILL WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!
"The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase
Score: 67
Koko B. Ware quickly turns around after he realizes what happened & runs in to check on Jim Neidhart while Ted DiBiase is handed his championship belt & laughs it up outside the ring. Vince throws it to Gene Okerlund, who is backstage with Harvey Wippleman, Hercules & the Warlord. Gene says that Harvey demanded this interview time & wants to know why. Harvey talks about how things are working out like he had planned by signing the Warlord, then Hercules. Now, he has signed one of the newest superstars to enter the WWF. Gene asks him who, & Harvey says "He's making his debut this Monday night, & I will be at ringside as his manager. I am talking about none other than Crush!" Gene questions the validity of Harvey's claim, but Harvey tells Gene that he can take it to the bank. Gene asks Harvey how could he be so certain that he's signed Crush when he's heard reports of Crush battling the two men standing by Harvey at recent live events? Harvey replies that he & his men were on a scouting mission, & Crush passed the test with all three of them.
Gene: "Well guys, I still have my doubts, but I guess we will find out this Monday night on Raw. Vince & Eddie, back to you."
Eddie Gilbert is all excited at the prospect of Harvey Wippleman managing three of the strongest men in the WWF, while Vince says that he can't believe Harvey Wippleman could've signed Crush. "It just can't be true. In fact, I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes, Eddie." "Believe it, Vin-Daddy, because you'll see it this Monday night!"

Virgil w/"El Matador" Tito Santana vs. Irwin R. Schyster w/Repo Man
Irwin R. Schyster makes his way down to the ring, along with the Repo Man. He has his own microphone in hand & reminds the fans in Lubbock, Texas that the deadline to file their taxes is only two months away. "So you better stop spending your money on T-bone steaks, Texas farm raised hamburgers & barbecue brisket, because you'll need to save that money to pay your taxes!" Of course the fans boo IRS for his comments.
Virgil is hyped up & jogs down to the ring, slapping hands with cheering fans as "El Matador" Tito Santana follows not too far behind him. Vince McMahon says that Virgil looks ready to add another championship to his collection, with Eddie Gilbert saying that Virgil's Cinderella luck has run out as evidenced by losing the Million Dollar Championship. Vince counters that Virgil seems to have recovered nicely from that setback.
Another match around the five minute mark, but with both men getting equal offense. IRS started off with the advantage when he clotheslined Virgil from behind while the plucky babyface was playing to the crowd entering the ring, but Virgil would regain his bearings & fight back. Toward the end of the match, Repo Man sneaked around ringside like only he could & took Tito Santana down to the floor with a clothesline out of nowhere. This distracted Virgil, who took it upon himself to grab Repo Man by his coat, bring him up to the ring apron & knock him out with a right hand punch. Virgil then turned around & right into the Write Off clothesline from IRS! Irwin with the cover... ONE... TWO... THREE!
Winner by pinfall & NEW WWF TELEVISION CHAMPION!!
Irwin R. Schyster
Score: 58
Irwin is handed his newly won WWF TV Championship & exits the ring. He helps Repo Man up, & Irwin holds the belt up high as he & Repo Man are gleeful about the tax man's victory. Eddie Gilbert proclaims that Irwin R. Schyster is one of fastest rising stars in the WWF, & now he can say that he is the first ever WWF Television Champion. Vince tells the fans to stay tuned because up next, Bret Hart finally has a chance to get his hands on the Mountie!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
-Back from commercial as we see Bret "Hitman" Hart make his entrance. Vince McMahon then gets word in his headset that there is something happening at ringside, & the production crew switches over to show that Owen Hart is being escorted to a seat at ringside. He shows everyone that he has a ticket by holding it up in the air as Bret makes his way over. Bret & Owen clasp hands & give each other a bro-style hug as Eddie Gilbert is going ballistic. "Why on earth was Owen Hart allowed to buy a ticket for this event, Vin-Daddy?! He's a liability! He's a safety hazard! I just know he's going to hop the barricade to attack the Mountie, Jimmy Hart & anyone else he feels may have wronged him! He may even run over here & attack me!" "Are you saying you're scared of Owen Hart, Eddie?" "Of course not! I'll be ready for him if he comes this way!"
The Mountie makes his entrance along with Jimmy Hart to his new theme music, & they are losing their minds on their way to the ring. The Mountie is so frustrated that he goes ahead & takes his hat & coat off, then yells at the ref that he demands that Owen Hart be escorted out of the building. The ref says there's nothing he can do.
A rather rotund looking man dressed in an extra plus sized Blue Blazer outfit makes his way down the aisle. He's gingerly jogging down the aisle so as not to run out of breath because he's clearly out of shape.
Vince: "I knew it! I knew Owen Hart & the Blue Blazer were not the same guy!"
Eddie: "Don't be ridiculous, Vin-Daddy! That guy in the Blue Blazer costume looks like he just came out of the Golden Corral, & we saw the Blue Blazer earlier today on Wrestling Challenge looking in perfectly fit shape! There is no way he packed on that much weight in record time!"
Vince: "Maybe him looking slim was trick photography, Eddie."
Eddie: "Now I've heard it all."
The Mountie & Jimmy Hart are losing their minds, protesting that this whole thing is a farce. Bret, being ever the impatient competitor, hops out of the ring & turns the Mountie around, hitting him with several right hand punches before rolling him into the ring. Bret threatens Jimmy Hart, who backs off. The rotund man dressed as the Blue Blazer continues to make his way to ringside & shows the referee a piece of paper, with the ref saying to him it's okay for him to stay at ringside.
Vince: "How about that?! The Blue Blazer procured a manager's license!"
Eddie: "Oh come on, Vin-Daddy! This is about as ridiculous as Fire Marshall Bill's safety tips! President Jack Tunney should come out here right now & award the match to the Mountie by disqualification, & then suspend both Bret & Owen Hart permanently for this stunt!"
Score: 66
-The Mountie w/Jimmy Hart vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart
Bret Hart had the advantage early on after he attacked the Mountie outside the ring before the bell rang, but the Mountie regained control with an inverted atomic drop before going to work on the Hitman. The Mountie & Jimmy Hart continuously taunted the big man dressed in the Blue Blazer costume, but the big man didn't let it get to him. Owen cheered Bret on throughout the match from his seat in the crowd as the crowd began to rally behind the Hitman as well. Bret Hart began to make a comeback, but the Mountie cut him off & taunted the crowd. The Mountie began taunting the big man dressed as the Blue Blazer again, & this time, the big man dared the Mountie to come out & fight him. The Mountie threw his hands down at him, as if to say "Not today, buddy." The distraction proved to be costly for the Mountie as Bret Hart recovered, grabbed the Mountie from behind & brought him down with a German Suplex! ONE... TWO... THREE!
Winner by pinfall: Bret "Hitman" Hart
Owen Hart jumps out of his seat & is excited about the result. Jimmy Hart is losing his mind & goes into the ring to check on the Mountie, who looks a bit woozy after that German Suplex. Don't worry, he's working here. Bret Hart embraces the big man dressed as the Blue Blazer as Vince McMahon sends it over to Gene Okerlund to interview Misty Blue, Rockin' Robin & Cheryl Rusa.
Score: 70
-Gene Okerlund is standing by with Misty Blue, Rockin' Robin & Cheryl Rusa, who talk about their recent rivalry that has been sparked with Wendi Richter, Tori & Vine, collectively known as Violent Beauty. Misty & Cheryl say they took exception to Violent Beauty's recent comments about them, & Rockin' Robin says that she's afraid there is no turning back for her former friend, Wendi Richter. Robin says that what hurt her the most about Wendi's recent actions is that she was someone Robin could confide in when she was bullied by other women wrestlers, & now Wendi has become one of those bullies. Misty Blue & Cheryl Rusa tell Gene that they quickly bonded with Rockin' Robin because they too know what it's like to be looked down upon by other women wrestlers for whatever reason. The trio then lay out a challenge to Violent Beauty, any time, any place.

-WWF World Heavyweight Championship
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair w/Mr. Perfect (Champion) vs. The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer (Challenger)
Paul Bearer leads the Undertaker down to the ring, & the fans seem to support the other worldly duo as they are cheering them. Truth be told, the fans started to gravitate toward the Undertaker after he beat Hulk Hogan at the Survivor Series back on in November 1991.
Mr. Perfect & Ric Flair make their way down the aisle, all smiles as they take in the boos from the crowd, though they do have a few heel fans in attendance cheering them on.
Ric Flair tried to get the Undertaker to shake his hand & forfeit the match, but the Undertaker just stared him down as the camera cut over to show Paul Bearer slowly shaking his head no. The Undertaker did a cut throat motion as Ric Flair & Mr. Perfect looked like they had seen a ghost. Undertaker on the attack early on, & he started the match off with the advantage. Flair didn't seem to have an answer for the Undertaker, & it looked like we would have a new champion in no time. But Mr. Perfect distracted the Undertaker long enough for Flair to be able to clip him in the back of his knee from behind. Flair went to work on the Undertaker's leg, hoping to set him up for the Figure Four. But it was as if the Undertaker was not human as he fought back, frustrating Ric Flair who couldn't seem to figure out how to fight back against the Undertaker. Just as the Undertaker had the match going his way again, Papa Shango started to make his way down to ringside, distracting both Paul Bearer & the Undertaker. Mr. Perfect took this opportunity to distract the ref, hoping that Ric Flair could maybe get his wits back together & maybe find a foreign object to help him win the match. Papa Shango began to back off as Paul Bearer held the urn up in the air & pointed over toward him, telling him that the power of the Undertaker was more powerful than his voodoo. As the Undertaker turned around to make his way back inside the ring, the Barbarian ran in from the crowd & blasted the Undertaker with a running big boot. Paul Bearer turned around & saw the Undertaker down & out. The Barbarian walked past Paul Bearer, sneering & growling at him as he power walked over to a laughing Papa Shango. The two watched on as Mr. Perfect saw what happened & hopped off the ring apron, allowing the ref to turn around & start counting the Undertaker as he (the ref) didn't see a thing. Mr. Perfect ran over to Ric Flair & told him to take a breather as the ref counted all the way to ten.
Winner by count out & STILL WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!
"Nature Boy" Ric Flair
Score: 81
-As Ric Flair & Mr. Perfect make their way to the back, Paul Bearer is holding the urn up with both hands, pleading for the power of the Undertaker to return as Papa Shango & Barbarian look on, smiling as they feel that they have finished off the Undertaker. The crowd is cheering Paul Bearer & the Undertaker on, hoping that the Undertaker will come back to his feet. The cheers seem to be what the Undertaker needed as he sits up & quickly snaps his head around, shooting a deadly glare over at Papa Shango & the Barbarian, rolling his eyes in the back of his head. The Undertaker makes his way back to his feet as he & Paul Bearer now begin to stalk down the aisle toward Papa Shango & the Barbarian. The Barbarian wants a go at the Undertaker again, but Papa Shango orders him to come with him to the back. Shango & Barbarian make it back behind the curtain before Paul Bearer & the Undertaker can catch up to them, but Paul & Taker continue to walk down to the back.
Vince: "Papa Shango better have some sort of spell that can help him & the Barbarian disappear, because Paul Bearer & the Undertaker look like men on a mission out to destroy them."
Eddie: "What I want to know is where does Jake Roberts fit into all of this? Who's side is he on? He has been with Paul Bearer & the Undertaker these past several months, but he also seems to be on the side of Papa Shango."
Vince: "Hopefully we'll get this all sorted out soon enough. Stay tuned as up next, the Legion Of Doom do battle with the Natural Disasters!"

-Back from commercial, & Vince McMahon sends it down to Sean Mooney, who is backstage with Hawk & Animal of the Legion Of Doom. Sean asks them why they opted to take on the Natural Disasters when they have a rematch clause that they can use against the WWF World Tag Team Champions, the Beverly Brothers. Animal says that they can't get back on track until they put away the Natural Disasters for good. "They've been a thorn in our side for too long, & it's time we finally destroy them!" Hawk tells Jimmy Hart that he better stay out of the way, because they'll decimate him too if he decides to stick his nose where it doesn't belong. "OOOOHH, WHAT A RUSH!"

-The Natural Disasters w/Jimmy Hart vs. Legion Of Doom
Earthquake & Typhoon make their way down the aisle first, led by their manager, Jimmy Hart. Vince McMahon talks about how there is quite a bit of history between these two teams, & talks about how something will have to give here. Eddie Gilbert responds, saying that the Legion Of Doom cheated at the Royal Rumble, & now the Natural Disasters are going to make them pay right here tonight.
The crowd comes unglued for Hawk & Animal as they make their way down to the ring, but they are marching down to the ring with a purpose. In fact, they quickly take off their spiked shoulder pads & throw them down halfway down the aisle, then run down to the ring & begin brawling with the Natural Disasters. Referee Joey Marella has no choice but to call for the bell to officially start the match.
The match was a wild brawl all the way, with Vince McMahon & Eddie Gilbert noticing that Joey Marella was being very lenient. They actually agreed for once, saying that Joey Marella wanted to make sure there was a winner. Animal is able to clothesline Earthquake out of the ring, then goes to his corner as Hawk manages to take control of Typhoon. Hawk makes the tag to Animal, & Animal has control of the match until Typhoon reverses an Irish whip attempt & clotheslines Animal down to the mat, followed by a jumping stomp. Typhoon makes the tag to Earthquake, & he takes control of the match until he misses a clothesline attempt that Animal ducks under. Animal off the ropes, jumps up in the air & knocks Earthquake down with a flying shoulder tackle. Animal makes the hot tag to Hawk, who runs over & knocks Typhoon off the ring apron with a running dropkick. The fans are booing as now the Genius & Beau Beverly make their way down to ringside. Animal & Hawk, as well as referee Joey Marella, are all distracted, with the Legion Of Doom asking them where Blake Beverly is. Vince wants to know as well, & Eddie says that maybe he's getting checked out in the trainers room. As Animal hops down off the apron & backs the Genius & Beau Beverly up, & while referee Joey Marella is ordering them to the back, Hawk turns his attention back to Earthquake. Blake Beverly comes in from the crowd with his Tag Team Championship belt, slides into the ring & blasts Hawk in the head, knocking him out as the fans are yelling at the ref to turn around! Blake slides out & hides by the ring out of view of Joey Marella, who turns around once he sees the Genius & Beau Beverly acting like they're walking to the back. Animal turns around & is clotheslined down by a now recovered Typhoon. In the ring, Earthquake drops an elbow on Hawk & goes for the pin. ONE... TWO... THREE!
Winners by pinfall: The Natural Disasters
Score: 70
The Genius smiles at Beau Beverly & nods his head as Beau knows what to do. He runs down to ringside & is ready to pick Animal up, but Typhoon yells at him & tells him he's got it. Typhoon picks Animal up & rolls him in as Earthquake & Blake Beverly do a number on Hawk. Blake helps Typhoon do a number on Animal, but the crowd comes alive as "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & Sgt. Slaughter run down to the ring, with Duggan carrying his signature 2x4, & Sarge carrying a steel chair. Duggan belts Typhoon in the back with his 2x4, while Sarge blasts Earthquake in the back with a chair. The Beverly Brothers opt to concentrate on the Legion Of Doom, but the beatdown only served to give Hawk & Animal a second wind as they fight back! Before you know it, all four teams are in an all out brawl as officials run down to try to get everyone separated! Vince McMahon says we gotta go to commercial break, but tells the fans to stay tuned because yes, Lord Alfred Hayes will be able to interview Hulk Hogan, Sid Justice & Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake when we come back! And Eddie Gilbert reminds us that the "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be taking on Jake "The Snake" Roberts as well!

COMMERCIAL BREAK
-Back from commercial break, & Vince McMahon sends it down to Lord Alfred Hayes, who is standing by backstage with the trio of Hulk Hogan, Sid Justice & Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. Alfred says that there has been a lot of dissension between Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice lately, & asks them if things can ever be settled between the two of them with WrestleMania on the horizon, then asks Bruti what his role in this whole thing is. Hulk starts off by saying that maybe there will always be an underlying current between him & Sid Justice, but that's because they are competitors & they always want to push themselves to be the very best in the World Wrestling Federation. Hulk admits that he was wrong after his friend to the end, Brutus Beefcake, showed him the video earlier as evidence that it wasn't Sid Justice that hit him with the steel chair, but rather Beau Beverly. Hogan turns to Sid & says "I know I apologized to you earlier when the cameras were off, but I also want to apologize to you in front of all my Hulkamaniacs who are watching tonight, brother." "Hulk, we're good. To be honest, if I had been hit by one of the Beverly Brothers with a chair & saw you holding the chair after you grabbed it from them, I probably would've lost my cool too." The two shake hands as Bruti chimes in. "You see, Awful Alfred, we all make mistakes. I make mistakes. Sid makes mistakes. You make mistakes. Kids at home, you know you make mistakes & your parents talk to you about them. And you see kids... even Hulk Hogan himself makes mistakes. The best thing one can do when they make mistakes is apologize to the person you wronged, & hopefully they will be able to forgive you." Alfred says that is all well & good, but what about WrestleMania? Sid says that at WrestleMania, he is not going to go easy on Hulk Hogan. He says that he's dreamed of wrestling with Hulk Hogan, but he's also dreamed about wrestling against Hulk Hogan as he has always wanted to know if he can wrestle at the same level as Hulk Hogan. Hogan nods his head & acknowledges that when he met Sid Justice, he just knew that one day their paths would cross as competitors. He knew that one day they would have to go toe to toe in one-on-one combat, & what better place than at WrestleMania VIII? With that, Alfred throws it back to Vince McMahon & Eddie Gilbert.
Score: 80
-Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
Jake Roberts makes his way down to the ring, the fans booing the heck out of him. Vince McMahon talks about how Jake has become so evil ever since last summer, but Eddie Gilbert corrects him. "Vin-Daddy, Jake Roberts has ALWAYS been evil. Just ask some people I know from Louisiana. And if Elizabeth thinks being slapped by Jake at Tuesday In Texas was awful, she should ask one lady I know very well what getting a DDT was like." "You can't be serious, Eddie." "Oh, I'm serious, Vince. I saw it with my own eyes." "Well if he has always been this evil... If he's always had this dark side about him... Then just where in the world does Papa Shango fit into all of this?!" "Maybe they've known each other longer than we thought, Vin-Daddy."
The crowd roars a huge pop as the Macho Man, sans Elizabeth, makes his way down to the ring, making a beeline for Jake, who quickly exits the ring. Macho Man climbs up one of the corners to acknowledge the fans while he takes off his entrance jacket, cowboy hat & sunglasses, then rushes out of the ring to attack Jake on the outside! Macho Man quickly rolls Jake Roberts into the ring, & as he slides back in, referee Earl Hebner signals for the bell & we are underway!
This bout was given the time it needed to bring this epic story to a close as the Macho Man & Jake Roberts battled it out in a hard fought contest for close to 17 minutes. We even had a commercial break during a lull in the action after Jake took control & locked Macho Man in a rear chinlock. The crowd was into this bout as Macho Man & Jake went back & forth. After Jake took control of the match again, Elizabeth ran down to ringside to will Macho Man back into it. Jake saw her out of the corner of his eye & told her to stay out of the way or he wouldn't hesitate to do to her what he's doing to the Macho Man. Elizabeth just sneered at Jake & cheered for Macho Man even more. Macho Man fought back, & it looked like he had regained control of the match, but after tossing Jake into the ropes, Jake ducked a clothesline attempt from the Macho Man. Macho Man turned around & was immediately greeted by a running knee lift from Jake. Jake picked Macho Man up & hit him with his signature short arm clothesline, which got the crowd in a frenzy as they knew what was coming.
Eddie: "You know that means, Vin-Daddy!"
Vince: "Sadly, yes I do. Even if the Macho Man loses this match, Elizabeth will know that her man fought valiantly to protect her honor."
Eddie: "Oh get out of here with that lovey dovey stuff."
Vince: "Why, because you can't hold a marriage together?"
Eddie: "Not now, Vin-Daddy!"
Jake picked Macho Man back up & went for the DDT... but Macho Man reversed with an overhead back body drop to the cheers of the Lubbock crowd! Macho Man was down on all fours & working to recover while Jake rolled over to pick himself back up. Jake again attempted a DDT, but again Macho Man reversed it, this time with an inverted atomic drop that Jake sold like a million bucks. Macho Man hit Jake with a series of quick right hand punches, then wound his arm up over & over before nailing Jake with the knock out blow, an extra heavy right punch! To be sure he was down & out, Macho Man picked Jake back up & slammed him down hard with a vertical suplex. Macho Man saw Elizabeth, smiled & nodded his head. He ran to climb the turnbuckles with inspiration, pointed both fingers up in the air like only he could, then came crashing down hard with his trademark Flying Elbow Smash onto Jake Roberts. Macho Man with the pinfall attempt... ONE... TWO... THREE!
Winner by pinfall: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

-Jake Roberts rolls out of the ring & tries to catch his breath as officials come down to help him to the back. In the ring, Elizabeth & Macho Man meet with a big hug to the roar of the crowd, then celebrate as Macho Man lifts Elizabeth onto his shoulder & points his finger up in the air in victory. The production crew cuts to a camera angle that shows Jake shoving officials away as he seems to have gotten a second wind & storms to the back. Back to inside the ring, where Macho Man puts Elizabeth down, then holds the ropes open for her to exit the ring. Vince McMahon then receives word in his headset that the roaming camera crew backstage are on hand for some sort of commotion, so Vince tells them to switch over to the backstage area. It's Jake Roberts peeking behind the curtain, & we see he has a steel chair in hand. Jake turns to the camera man & tells him that he's going to hit whoever comes through that curtain first. Vince goes ballistic on commentary & yells for someone to run out & warn Macho Man & Elizabeth, maybe divert them to another part of the arena. Eddie Gilbert tells Vince to keep quiet because FOX is about to receive their biggest ratings since Brandon broke up with Emily.
Macho Man & Elizabeth are making their way down to the aisle to the back, acknowledging the cheering fans, all of whom have no idea just what Jake Roberts has planned. Vince McMahon is now screaming for someone to get back there & stop Jake while Eddie Gilbert says this is going to be better than when Bart Simpson blew up the science lab. Vince screams "Jake Roberts is about to seriously hurt either the Macho Man or Elizabeth, & all you can think about are Beverly Hills 90210 & the Simpsons?!" Macho Man & Elizabeth get through the curtain, but they hear Jake & Macho Man rushes Elizabeth out of harm's way as Jake winds up... but someone grabs the steel chair out of his hands.
It's the Undertaker! He throws the chair down & nails Jake with a thrust to the throat. Undertaker backs off as Macho Man grabs the chair & slams it down hard across Jake's back, then runs over to embrace Elizabeth, making sure that she's alright. Jake is screaming in agony as Undertaker looks down on him. The copyright info comes up at the bottom of the screen as the show ends in episodic fashion.
