1984 doesn't have any votes, but it does provide at least one interesting caveat if it's January; you'd have World Class at its peak potential, with David Von Erich about to win the World Title instead of dying.

I went for 2000.
The last full year for both WCW and ECW.
It still feels somewhat realistic that you could have saved either company, when 2000 started, whereas 2001 feels like it's too late already.
The WWF is still big but it feels like it's passed the peak. Can you keep that run going?
Plus in 2000, it's still not too far removed from D-Lo Brown making history as the Eurocontinental Champion. D-Lo can still main event Wrestlemania damnit!

2002 for me. So much potential in the brand split and nWo while still having Rock and Stone Cold.

David Von Erich was never in line to win the NWA Title. He simply wasn't a good enough worker to be champ. |

I have always wanted 1988. You get to book the first Royal Rumble, first Clash of the Champions, and first SummerSlam. Along with in general having the rise of Sting and Luger and Warrior, Ted DiBiase was never more relevant, and the face turn of the Hart Foundation. 1987 is great, don't get me wrong, I love it. But 88 would be so much fun to me. Lets hope that someone starts working on a 1988 scenario. |

1984 for me. I'm working on 2013 mod but 1984 is the next on the agenda. Pre-Hulkamania, pre-DVE death, and really as a lot of territories are in decent (if not good) shape.
