Royal Rumble - TD Garden - Boston, Massachusetts - January 30, 2011
NXT Championship bout: Chris Masters defeated Joe Henning (c) WWE Divas Championship bout: Natalya (c) defeated Eve Torres World Heavyweight Championship bout: Edge (c) defeated Dolph Ziggler WWE Championship bout: the Miz (c) defeated Randy Orton 40-MAN ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH: Alberto Del Rio won by last eliminating Santino Marella
 After the Spear was barred by Vickie Guerrero, Edge found a way to retain the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Dolph Ziggler with the Edgecution.  With the help from the Second City Society (and former NEXUS members) the Miz retained the WWE Championship against the man who disbanded the former NEXUS group, Randy Orton.  Del Rio does it! Alberto Del Rio won the first ever 40 Man Royal Rumble after eliminating Santino Marella! ADR will go to WrestleMania and face the champion of his choosing. ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER ALBERTO DEL RIO CHOOSES HIS WRESTLEMANIA OPPONENT
SmackDown! opens with Ricardo Rodriquez introducing the 2011 Royal Rumble winner, Alberto Del Rio!. Del Rio came down in a white convertible to celebrate winning the first ever 40-Man Royal Rumble. Alberto got on the microphone and reminded everybody that his destiny was to win the Royal Rumble, go to WrestleMania and become champion. Alberto talked about the WWE Champion the Miz and said that he admires the Miz and the Miz is somebody just like Del Rio. Then Del Ri talks about Edge and says that Edge is just like this pinata and Del Rio started whacking the pinata over and over again. Del Rio said that he's made his decision and that at WrestleMania 27, Alberto Del Rio will take on Edge!. The World Heavyweight Champion Edge came out. Edge told Del Rio that if Del Rio wants to whack a pinata than he should whack Edge right now and not wait until WrestleMania. Edge said that Del Rio made a mistake by choosing him and promised that Edge is going to spear him back to Mexico. All of a sudden Vickie Guerrero came out and said that Del Rio will not face Edge at WrestleMania because Edge wont make it to WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion. Vickie says that at the Elimination Chamber Edge will have to defend the World Heavyweight Championship inside the brutal Chamber. Vickie said she talked to Theodore Long and the first participant is Dolph Ziggler and tonight there will be four qualifying matches. Vickie says that Del Rio is going to take on Ziggler at WrestleMania and not her useless ex husband Edge. Edge got on the microphone and said degrading things to Dolph and Vickie before Del Rio snuck attack Edge and hit Edge with one of the guitars used by the mariachi band. Del Rio then put Edge in the cross arm breaker as Vickie looked on laughing. The Miz hosted another edition of the Miz TV with special guest host the legendary Jerry the King Lawler. Lawler came out and the whole crowd started cheering "JERRY". the Miz sent AC Riley to the back so the two can have a heart to heart. the Miz told Lawler that Lawler needs to keep himself in the announcer booth and let the Miz be the most must see WWE Champion of all time and Lawler is just going to have to sit there and accept it. the Miz said that he's going to face the winner of the Elimination Chamber match at WrestleMania and he cant wait to hear Lawler say "and STILL WWE Champion, the Miz". the Miz said that Lawler is jealous of the Miz because the Miz is in his prime and Lawlers prime has been dead since the 70s. Lawler told Miz that it's time to back up everything that Miz spews out of his mouth. Lawler said that the Miz is a con artist. Lawler said he's never had a match at WrestleMania and promised that he's going to win the WWE Champion and headline WrestleMania. the Miz said that Jerry Lawler in the main event of WrestleMania would be AWFUL and not AWESOME. Lawler challenged the Miz to a match at Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship and the Miz said that Lawler will never step foot in the ring with the Miz ever again. DING DING! The Anonymous RAW General Manager sent an email which Michael Cole read out loud that said the Miz will defend his WWE Championship against Jerry Lawler at Elimination Chamber. All of a sudden AC Riley came back out and attacked Lawler with the Miz as the Miz taunted Lawler.
 After 40 years in the business, Jerry Lawler will attempt to get his WrestleMania match when he goes against the Miz for the WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber. |

RAW opens with Justin Roberts announcing the host of WrestleMania 27, the lights went out and all of sudden "IF YA SMELL!! WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING" and out comes the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment, Dwayne the Rock Johnson!! "FINALLY THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO WRESTLE....MANIA!". the Rock ran down his history of WrestleMania matches with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Evolution, and the Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin. the Rock said it's been a long time and now that he's back he needs to let everybody know, hes not here to promote a movie or its about the money its about the Rock is back to HOST WRESTLEMANIA. the Rock says that he still has some WrestleMania moments he wants to make but this year he's going to watch with the millions and millions of the Rock's fans. the Rock said he wants to thank all the fans and that he loves them and its because the Rock. Is. Back! the Rock talks about the Miz, John Cena, Edge, Alberto Del Rio and others and says that if any of them get in his way he's going to lay the smack down on their candy a$$es. the Rock says that he's the only man that's capable of hosting WrestleMania and not that jabroni Justin Bieber. DING DING! All of a sudden an email came in from the Anonymous RAW GM and Michael Cole went to read it before the Rock cut off Cole and said he's going to read it himself. the Rock started reading the email and said IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT THE GM SAYS and threw the laptop down on the ground. the Rock told Michael Cole to know your role and shut your mouth!! the Rock says Michael Cole can take the laptop, shine it up real nice, turn it side-ways and stick it straight up his candy a$$. the Rock also announces a huge WrestleMania 28 announcement and said that it's going to take place in MIAMI, FLORIDA and that the Rock will be there not as a host but as a wrestler and he said that some jabroni will SMELLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'!.

MYSTERIO VS RHODES AT WRESTLEMANIA
After Rey Mysterio defeated Kane, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes came down to the ring. Dusty gave Mysterio a hug and said that Rey is such a great friend to the family and Dusty is disappointed in his son Cody and his new "Undesirable" persona. Dusty said he wanted Cody to come out and apologize to Rey for all this actions since the Royal Rumble. Dusty said that not only does Cody need to apologize to Rey, he needs to apologize to himself and all the WWE Universe. Cody came down wearing a face shield. Cody said that he wants to apologize to Mysterio and said that he's sorry for what he's going to do to Rey Mysterio and challenged the legendary luchadore to a match at WrestleMania. Dusty said that this isn't the Cody that Dusty raised and said that his son needs to show some respect and if Mysterio has to beat the respect into Cody at WrestleMania than Mysterio will do what he has to do. Mysterio said that Cody is acting like a diva and thinks he's the hottest man on the planet but he's a coward and says that he accepts Cody's challenge. Dusty said that Cody is not dashing and now he cant run away and has to accept all the smoke and mirrors and realize that he's burned a great family bridge with the Mysterio's. Cody apologized to his Dad and started attacking Mysterio all the way up the ramp before hitting a Crossroads on top of the ramp and ripping Mysterio's masks off. Dusty came up and put a towel over Mysterio's head and yelled at his son while Cody stared at the fallen Mysterio and his disappointed father.  Cody Rhodes has disrespected Rey Mysterio and the legendary luchadore has accepted Rhodes challenge for a match at WrestleMania. |

TWO LEGENDS RETURN TO RAW WITH A HUGE WRESTLEMANIA CHALLENGE
RAW opens with a shockingly return of Triple H. Triple H hasnt been seen in the WWE since nearly a year off television. Triple H comes down to talk about the upcoming WrestleMania and says that tonight hes here to make a huge announcement and introduce the Hall of Fame Class of 2011. Triple H says that the headliner is nonother than his best friend, THE HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS. Triple H tells stories about Shawn Michaels and him in Degeneration-X and how he will be the one to induct HBK into the Hall of Fame. Triple H also talked about the other inductees of Sgt. Slaughter, the Legion of Doom (Animal and Hawk), the Model Rick Martel, Bullet Bob Armstrong and Japanese Legend Genichiro Tenryu. Triple H says that he wishes that he could see Shawn wrestle one more time at WrestleMania but since he lost to the Undertaker last year Shawn has promised that he will never wrestle again. Triple H says that he's not out here to just announce the Hall of Fame class, he's here to call out the Deadman. Triple H says that the Undertaker hasnt been seen since being buried by his brother Kane at Survivor Series but he's heard rumblings that the Undertaker is in Buffalo tonight!. Triple H says that at WrestleMania he's going to not only end the Undertaker's streak but he's going to get revenge for his best friend Shawn. Triple H says that at WrestleMania he has two words for the Undertaker and that is....DONG! The lights go out and out comes the Phenom the Undertaker for the first time since November. The Undertaker slowly gets in the ring and stares down Triple H without saying a word. the Undertaker slowly motions to Triple H with a thumb across the throat and rolls his eyes back indicating that he has accepted Triple H's challenge.
 Triple H will battle the Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII. |

TWO WRESTLEMANIA MATCHES ANNOUNCED
RAW opened with "the voice of the WWE" Michael Cole coming down to the ring. Last week Cole and Jerry the King Lawler had a huge altercation that has separated them from doing commentary together. Cole called Jerry Lawler to the ring and reminded him that the WWE officials have told Lawler that Lawler cannot lay a hand on him or else he would be fired. Cole brought up Lawler and the fact that he has never had a WrestleMania match and challenged the King to match at WrestleMania. Lawler laughed at Cole and said that Cole doesnt have the guts to ever get in the ring and declines Cole's challenge. Cole let Lawler know that he wont be fighting Cole at WrestleMania but this man and Cole brought out Jack Swagger. Swagger got in the ring and confronted Lawler. Cole kept trash talking Lawler before Cole slapped Lawler in the face. Lawler snapped and accepted Cole's challenge to face Jack Swagger at WrestleMania. Cole then said that at WrestleMania, Jack Swagger is going to break Lawler's ankle and end Lawler's WrestleMania dreams.
 What's better than seeing Cole vs Lawler at WrestleMania? The King vs the All American!
Randy Orton came out and said that he's sick and tired of CM Punk and the Second City Society. Randy Orton said that if he has to punt every SCS member in the head to get to Punk he will. Orton talked about taking out Joe Henning last week and tonight he's going to take out David Otunga. Orton said that theres a perfect place to end the SCS and that's at WrestleMania and that's with CM Punk!. CM Punk came out with his the Second City Society members. Punk said that Orton needs to be put in a mental hospital and orders the SCS down to the ring. DING DING!! Anonymous RAW GM sends an email and it reads that if Randy Orton can defeat Mason Griffiths in the main event then Orton will face CM Punk at WrestleMania!. Also, all SCS members will be barred from ring including CM Punk. Later in the night Randy Orton punted Mason Griffiths in the head in front of Punk watching from the top of the ramp. Orton pinned Griffiths to win and will now face Punk at WrestleMania!.
