MARK HENRY MAKES A DOMINATE STATEMENT; ADDED TO ECW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT NOC
ECW General Manager Armando Estrada announced the main event will be the Big Show and Kane taking on John Morrison and the Miz in a tag team match. the Big Show told Kane that at Night of Champions, he's going to do what he has to do to once again be ECW Champion but for tonight they should work together to beat the Miz and Morrison. Kane told Big Show he has no idea what he's going to have to do if Big Show attempts to take away his ECW Championship. Kane said he will drag the Big Show to hell but tonight the Miz and Morrison have two tickets straight to hell. During the main event the Big Show chokeslammed Kane before leaving the arena allowing the Miz to pin Kane. After the match Mark Henry came down and hit Kane with a huge Worlds Strongest Slam and a big splash. Armando Estrada then came out and announced that at Night of Champions there will be a triple threat match for the ECW Championship between Kane vs the Big Show vs Mark Henry.

THE GREAT KHALI VS CHARLES ROBINSON?
SmackDown! starts with the Co-General Manager Vickie Guerrero talking about the upcoming draft in ten days. Vickie said theres some things she needs to take care of before superstars and personnel switch brands. Vickie Guerrero said that no La Familia member is eligible to be drafted so Vickie wants to make sure that some championships stay on SmackDown!. Vickie says that tonight Bam Hardcastle will take on Matt Hardy for the WWE United States Championship, right now. Bam headed don to the ring and Matt Hardy came down to defend his championship. Chavo Guerrero tried to interfere in the match but Charles Robinson ordered Chavo to leave as Matt Hardy hit Bam with the Twist of Fate for the pinfall. Furious at Charles Robinson, Vickie said that if he wants to get in La Familia business than he's going to have to wrestle tonight or else he's fired. Vickie also said he was the referee for costing Edge his World Heavyweight Championship matches the last few months (ex: WrestleMania 24). Vickie Guerrero then wished Charles Robinson good luck tonight but didnt announce his opponent. While Charles Robinson is in the ring awaiting his opponent, the Great Khali came out. Robinson tried to run away but Hawkins and Ryder kept him in the ring before Khali grabbed Robinson and put in his the vice grip until Robinson passed out.  Nobody is save from the wrath of Vickie Guerrero as even poor referee Charles Robinson was forced to pay for crossing La Familia. |

WWE DRAFT; PLUS A HUGE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE CHANGE
RAW opens with all three brand announcing team going over the rules of the draft ECW (Mick Foley & Tazz), RAW (Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross), and SmackDown! (Michael Cole & Mike Adamle). They go over the fact that any of them could be split up tonight! The first match of the night is Triple H (the WWE Champion) vs Mark Henry (the ECW Champion). Triple H wins with a pedigree to Henry to reveal the first drat pick from RAW being Rey Mysterio. Vince McMahon comes out and announces the new Million Dollar Champion, the Brian Kendrick!. McMahon gives Kendrick $1,000,00 and even calls out Kelly Kelly to come give Kendrick a nice dance. The next draft match is a tag team match between ECW Tag Team Champions Finlay and Hornswoggle defeating Carlito and Santino after Hornswoggle pinned Santino with the Tadpole Splash. ECW won the draft pick and that is the WWE United States Champion, Matt Hardy. The next match was the World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Theodore DiBiase taking on La Familia's Bam Hardcastle and Chavo Guerrero. DiBiase won by pinning Hardcastle to give RAW the next draft pick and that is CM Punk!. Chris Jericho came out to a bunch of boo's since they are in San Antono and thats Shawn Michaels hometown. Jericho said that he know Michaels is too much of a coward to show up but it doesnt matter because Jericho has found a superstar that knows Shawn Michaels better than anybody else and thats Michael's former student Lance Cade. Cade says he knows Michaels is and will always be a coward and he's here to align himself with Chris Jericho. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder from SmackDown! took on JTG and Shad Gaspard from RAW, the Major Brothers defeated Cryme Tyme and won the next draft pick which is Jeff Hardy!. The next match was a tag team match but the draft picks this time were the announce team. Natalya and Victoria from SmackDown! took on Melina and Mickie James Laree on RAW. After Natayla had Melina in the Sharpshooter and Mickie James Laree covered Victoria, Melina tapped out exactly when Mickie James Laree got the three count. As a result, both RAW and SmackDown! won the draft pick. This meant Michael Cole will be going to RAW and Jim Ross will be going to SmackDown!. The next match was John Cena representing RAW taking on the Great Khali from SmackDown!. John Cena won with a huge FU giving RAW the draft pick and the superstar going to RAW is BATISTA!! Backstage we see Edge and Vickie Guerrero celebrating Batista going to RAW. The next match was Montel Vontavious Porter representing SmackDown! defeating Tommy Dreamer representing ECW giving SmackDown! Umaga from RAW. John Bradshaw Layfield took on the Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a nontitle match with JBL hitting a Clothesline From Hell to give RAW the draft pick which is the Big Red Machine Kane. The main event included a 15 Man Battle Royal which was won by the Big Show earning SmackDown! two draft picks, the first going to SmackDown! is Ken Kennedy and the final draft picks going to SmackDown! is...THE WWE CHAMPION TRIPLE H. Edge comes out and calls Triple H to the ring, Triple H came down and Edge told him that theres only room for one champion on SmackDown! and thats his World Heavyweight Championship. Before Edge can finish his sentence Triple H hit Edge with a huge pedigree before telling Edge that "He'll see you on Friday". As Edge is laying in the middle of the ring, CM Punk comes down with the Money in the Bank briefcase and PUNK CASHES IN THE MONEY IN THE BANK on Edge. Punk hit the GTS on Edge and pinned the World Heavyweight Champion for the victory and CM Punk became the World Heavyweight Champion! CM Punk raised the World Heavyweight Championship over the fallen age as the RAW Draft episode went off the air.
Rey Mysterio will go to RAW from SmackDown! Matt Hardy will go to ECW from SmackDown! (the WWE United States Champion). CM Punk will go to RAW from ECW. (Money in the Bank holder) Jeff Hardy will go to SmackDown! from RAW Michael Cole will go to RAW from SmackDown! Jim Ross will go to SmackDown! from RAW Batista will go to RAW from SmackDown! Umaga will go to SmackDown! from RAW Kane will got to RAW from SmackDown! Ken Kennedy will go to SmackDown! from RAW Triple H will go to SmackDown! from RAW (the WWE Championship will be exclusive on SmackDown!)
In a shocking conclusion to the Draft, CM Punk (after being drafted to RAW) cashed in the Money in the Bank against Edge to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Supplemental draft results for RAW:

VICKIE GUERRERO APPEARS ON RAW; CONFRONTS CM PUNK; NO. 1 CONTENDER CROWNED FOR GAB
RAW opens with the new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Punk talks about cashing in the Money in the Bank against Edge and now that he's on RAW that means the World Heavyweight Championship is the biggest prize on Monday nights. Punk talks about how unlike the last World Heavyweight Champion he doesnt need to rely on "his family" to help him get the job done. Vickie Guerrero then comes out to the arena screaming "EXCUSE ME!" Vickie says that she might be the SmackDown! General Manager but she's going to do everything in her power to get Punk to give up the World Heavyweight Championship and apologize to Edge for doing something that Edge would never ever do. Punk then taunted Vickie by showing her the World Heavyweight Championship belt around Punk's waist. Punk tells Vickie that she should leave RAW and go back to SmackDown! and worry about your failed wedding (Edge called off the wedding on SmackDown! last Friday). JBL then comes out to the arena and rolls Vickie down the ramp and they both enter the ring to confront Punk. Vickie gets out of her wheelchair and slaps Punk right across the face. JBL then got in front of Vickie and confronted Punk and challenged him to a World Heavyweight Championship match at the Great American Bash. All of a sudden John Cena comes out and tells JBL to get to the back of the line before Cena congratulated Punk and challenged JBL to a match tonight for the number one Contendership. Batista came out and talked about how he's one of the greatest World Heavyweight Champions and if Punk wants to prove he's the best he's going to have to beat the best. Kane came out and said he wanted to be in the match too and prove that RAW got the best draft pick last week with Kane coming to RAW from SmackDown! Out comes the RAW General Manager Freddie Prinze Jr. and announced that tonight there will be a fatal four way match between Batista vs JBL vs John Cena vs Kane and the winner will face CM Punk at the Great American Bash. Prinze Jr also called out security to escort Vickie Guerrero out of the building. Later in the night John Bradshaw Layfield won by pinning Kane after a Clothesline To Hell. After the match Kane went crazy and started to put his hands on the announce team of Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.

DELANEY BEATS ATLAS!
ECW opens up with the ECW Champion Mark Henry and Tony Atlas. Atlas (really Tony Atlas in 2008, what a time) talked about how dominate of a champion Mark Henry is and how at the Great American Bash he's going to prove that the Worlds Strongest Man is the future of ECW. Atlas handed Henry a frying pan which Henry bent with his strength. Tony Atlas challenged anybody in the back to prove that they are stronger than Mark Henry. Out comes Colin Delaney to answer the challenge. Delaney got on the microphone and talked about how he might not have the muscles of Henry but his heart is stronger than both of Atlas and Henry's combined. Delaney said that theres somebody in the back thats heart beats for ECW and that's Tommy Dreamer and that he should be the ECW Champion. Henry gets on the microphone and says if Delaney doesnt get out of his ring than Henry will fold him up like this frying pan. Tommy Dreamer came out and said he appreciates Delaney but Dreamer can handle himself and he can handle Mark Henry and challenges Henry to an ECW Championship match at the Great American Bash. Mark Henry laughed and said if Dreamer wants a shot at the championship than he's going to have to earn it. Delaney stepped up and said he'll fight Henry tonight and if Delaney wins, Tommy Dreamer will challenge Henry at Great American Bash. Tony Atlas laughed (really thats all he did back then) and said he's so sure that Delaney will lose that Atlas will fight Delaney on behalf of Henry. THE WEDDING OF EDGE AND VICKIE GUERRERO
Wedding bells are ringing on SmackDown! Tonight Edge and Vickie Guerrero will become one when they tie the knot. Edge comes out dressed in white followed by his groomsman (the Edgeheads and Bam Hardcastle) and best man (Chavo Guerrero). Out comes Vickie Guerrero with her main of honor Alicia. The minister declared them man and wife before they shared a kiss to celebrate their marriage. Chavo then gave his best man speech before giving a gift to Edge which is the Rated R WWE Championship belt. Edge began to give a speech before him and Vickie had their first dance. Vickie then tossed the bouquet which caused several Divas to start fighting.  Edge and Vickie tied the knot and almost had the perfect night until... Vickie then got on the microphone and professed her love for Edge. All of a sudden Triple H came out and interrupted the ceremony to offer a wresting present to the happy couple. Triple H played a backstage hidden video of Edge hooking up with Vickie Guerrero's maid of honor Alicia!. Vickie started screaming at Edge who attempted to put a stop to the video and sending La Familia to attack Triple H but Triple H pulled out a sledgehammer to protect himself. Triple H replayed the video showing Edge and Alicia kissing. Triple H congratulates the happy couple before Vickie screamed at Edge as the wedding ends in a disaster.  Triple H came out and put a sledgehammer to the wedding of Edge and Vickie. |

NEW ECW CHAMPIONSHIP BELT DEBUT AND NO. 1 CONTENDER FOR SUMMERSLAM
ECW opens with General Manager Armando Estrada with a huge presentation. Estrada brings out ECW Champion Mark Henry and his manager Tony Atlas. Estrada talks about how Henry is the future of ECW and ECW has finally been going in a new direction. Estrada says that the ECW Championship belt Mark Henry has represents the past and ECW is taking a step forward and presents Henry with a brand new ECW Championship. Mark Henry smiles and Tony Atlas says that this ECW Championship belt already has more prestige than the old one. Tony Atlas brings out Colin Delaney and thanks him for his actions at the Great American Bash by costing Tommy Dreamer the ECW Championship match. Delaney said Dreamer was a mentor but Dreamer was stuck in the 90s and Mark Henry will bring a bright future to ECW. Tommy Dreamer came out and challenged Delaney to a match tonight which Tony Atlas accepted on Delaney's behalf (which Dreamer would win easily). Matt Hardy came out and spoke about losing the United States Championship and says he's got his eyes on the ECW Championship now and wants a match with Henry. Out comes the Miz and Morrison who lost their match at the Great American Bash saying that they want to be co-ECW Champions, out comes Ricky Ortiz who said he wants a ECW Championship match because he's undefeated and he is the future of ECW. Estarda made the main event a Fatal Four Way between Hardy, Miz, Morrison and Ortiz with the winner going on to face Mark Henry at Summerslam. Matt Hardy would win the match after hitting the Twist of Fate on the Miz.

BATTLE ROYAL FOR WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT SUMMERSLAM
SmackDown! opens with Co-General Theodore Long talking about the last few weeks on SmackDown! first he says Alicia, Edge and Vickie Guerrero are not here tonight after their failed wedding. Long announces that the main event will be a 20-Man Battle Royal with the winner going on to face Triple H at SummerSlam. The main event Battle Royal begun and the Big Show and the Great Khali threw out multiple superstars before it got down to the Big Show, the Great Khali Jeff Hardy, Ken Kennedy, Montel Vontavious Porter and Umaga. Jeff Hardy fooled MVP and eliminated the former United States Champion. Ken Kennedy and Umaga were then eliminated by the Big Show. Umaga then came back in the ring and hit a Samoa Spike on the Big Show allowing Jeff Hardy to eliminate the Big Show. The final two were Jeff Hardy whos been on his journey to become WWE Champion against the Great Khali. Jeff Hardy fought his best but the Great Khali threw Jeff Hardy to win the Battle Royal. Triple H then came in the ring and faced off with the Great Khali as SmackDown! went off the air.  the Great Khali vs Triple H for the WWE Championship at Summerslam. |

BATISTA? JOHN CENA? WHOS GOING TO SUMMERSLAM?
RAW opens with Washington, D.C. native Batista coming down to the ring. Batista talks about how he defeated John Cena at the Great American Bash and he's the rightful No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena came out and said that he admit that Batista mightve been the better man at GAB but he's not the better man now and Cena challenged Batista to a match at SummerSlam. Batista reminded John Cena what happened at the 2005 Royal Rumble and how Cena never beat Batista one-on-one and he never will. Batista reminded Cena that its nothing personal but Batista will do what he has to do to regain the World Heavyweight Championship and it doesnt matter who gets in his way. Batista said that he is the one that will face Punk at SummerSlam and when Batista wins, John Cena will be the first one he will defend it against. Cena reminds Batista that he's already won and lost the World Heavyweight Championship multiple times and that's one championship Cena has never won. Cena said that one day him and Batista will headline WrestleMania but at the moment Cena will become the World Heavyweight Champion. RAW General Manager Freddie Prinze Jr. showed up on stage and announced that tonight Batista and John Cena will team up to face John Bradshaw Layfield and Kane and he will make his decision on whos the No. 1 Contender later on tonight. Later during the main event Batista and John Cena defeated John Bradshaw Layfield and Kane in the tag team match. Freddie Prinze Jr. came out and said that he couldnt decide on whos the rightful No. 1 Contender but he will make his decision at Saturday Night's Main Event on Saturday.

CHRIS JERICHO AND SHAWN MICHAELS SIGN THEIR CONTRACT FOR SUMMRSLAM
RAW General Manager Freddie Prinze Jr. hosted the contract signing between Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels to their match at Summerslam. Prinze explained that the match will be a No Sanctioned match. Prinze said that both Jericho and Michaels waived all liabilities on what they might do to each other and that the WWE is free from any legal ramifications. Michaels signed first and then Jericho. Jericho told Michaels that what happened to his wife at the Great American Bash was an accident but what Jericho is going to do to Michaels will be on purpose. Jericho said that he's not going to take it easy on Michaels and looks forward to ending his career. Jericho says that Michaels will feel exactly what Ric Flair felt at WrestleMania after Michaels ended his career and Jericho is going to put Michaels out of his misery and Michaels can spend all his time taking care of his wife. Jericho promised that he's going to end the legacy of the Heartbreak Kid forever. Michaels finally spoke up and said that all the pain and suffering Jericho has put Michaels family through Michaels plans on inflicting on Jericho and Michaels is going to show no remorse. Michaels says that he is going to make sure that Jericho walks out of SummerSlam a broken man and not even Jericho will be able to save Y2J. Michaels says that he hopes one day that God will forgive him for what he is going to do to Jericho. After this statement both Jericho and Michaels stood up ready to fight but Freddie Prinze explained that they can not touch each other until SummerSlam. Lance Cade tried to sneak attack Michaels but Michaels saw it coming and gave Cade a Sweet Chin Music which caused Cade to fall over on Jericho.
 A personal battle will come to ahead at SummerSlam when Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels battle in an Unsanctioned match. |
