MCMAHON ANNOUNCES GUEST HOSTS ERA
RAW opens with the chairman Vince McMahon happily powerwalking down to the ring. McMahon grabs a microphone and says that he's in a great mood because he bought back RAW from Donald Trump and that tonight is a new era of Monday Night RAW. McMahon says that tonght there will be no commercial-free tonight nor will the fans ever get their money back. McMahon says that Trump made a deal for a 15-superstar exchange before he left so there will be new faces across the three brands. McMahon says Trump did have a good idea and that is there will be a guest host every week who will be in charge of RAW (Freddie Prinze Jr is still the General Manager but taking a hiatus). McMahon introduced the first guest host being Saved by the Bell's Dustin Diamond aka Screech!. Screech comes out and milked the crowd responses and said he's going to have some fun tonight. Screech booked a four man No. 1 contenders tournament with the winner facing Randy Orton at Night of Champions. Screech announced that the Miz will take on Triple H and MVP will take on John Cena. Screech was the interrupted by Randy Orton and Legacy. Orton said that theres no way in hell he's going to have a child star tell Orton what to do and this new Guest Host era is ridiculous. Screech told Orton that he's in charge tonight and told Legacy that they will be defending their newly won Unified Tag Team Championships tonight. Screech also announced that Orton will face one of the newly acquired RAW superstar for the WWE Championship tonight. Later in the night Legacy retained the Unified Tag Team Championship against Carlito and Primo Colon and Randy Orton defended the WWE Championship against Mark Henry.

NEW EXTREMISTS MAKE THEIR ECW DEBUTS
ECW opens with General Manager Tiffany welcoming the fans toa "new era of ECW." Tiffany says that the blockbuster trade that Donald Trump made has changed the landscape of ECW. Tiffany says that tonight there will be familiar faces making their ECW debuts and brand new extremists trying to make a name for themselves in the land of extreme. Tiffany introduces two new extremists, the tough hitting Irishmen Sheamus and the highflying Japanese sensation, Yoshitatsu. The two new faces went back and forth before Sheamus hit the Irish Crush Backbreaker on Yoshitatsu to make his successful ECW debut. Shelton Benjamin the former Intercontinental/United States Champion came out to the ring. Shelton said he wasnt too tired to being traded to ECW but now that he's here he's going to focus on winning the ECW Championship. Tiffany introduced his opponent being another tough Irishmen as Finlay. The two battled before Shelton hit Finlay with the T-Bone suplex and pinning Finlay to win. The main event was a huge tag team match between Vladimir Kozlov and the debuting William Regal against Tommy Dreamer and Goldust who was also making his ECW debut. Kozlov and Regal won after Kozlov pinned Dreamer. After the match Regal shook hands with Kozlov and raised Kozlov's arm in celebration forming a deadly duo that will sure impact ECW. HUGE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
Jeff Hardy came out to open SmackDown! talking about the controversial ending to his match against Christian. Hardy showed the video of his leg underneath the bottom rope and thus the match shouldve continued but Hardy was screwed at the Bash. Hardy said he's not mad at the referee and recognized his mistake but Christian is a coward for taking the easy way out. Hardy said he's a man of honor but its not over between him and Christian and he wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions!. CM Punk then came out and talked about how he defeated Edge at the Bash and that was the No. 1 Contenders match and he's the rightful No. 1 contender. Punk says Hardy needs to get in the back of the line and when Punk wins the championship Hardy will be the first person that Punk defends the championship against. SmackDown! Co-General Manager Theodore Long came out and talked about the two and said both have good points and at Night of Champions there will be a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Christian taking on both CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Long said tonight he CM Punk and Jeff Hardy will team up against the Big Show and Chris Jericho in the main event. The main event began and during the main event CM Punk walked out of the match against Jeff Hardy leaving Hardy alone to fend for himself. the Big Show hit Hardy with a huge chokeslam to pin Hardy while CM Punk stood on the ramp and watched Hardy lose the match.  CM Punk and Jeff Hardy will battle against Christian at Night of Champions for the World Heavyweight Championship |

JOHN CENA AND TRIPLE H TEAM UP WITH RAW GUEST HOST IN SIX MAN TAG MATCH AGAINST LEGACY
RAW opens with Triple H coming out and talking about his triple threat match at Night of Champions. Triple H introduced the celebrity RAW Guest Host, Hollywood actor Seth Green!. Seth Green came out and hugged Triple H and thanks Triple H for welcoming him. Green talks about how he's a huge wrestling fan and he watches RAW every week and it's his dream that he's actually in charge for the night. First Seth Green booked a six diva Summer Swimsuit Spectacular. Seth Green then plugged the season premiere of Robot Chicken. Seth Green said speaking about chickens, he called out Legacy and Randy Orton. This brought Randy Orton out and confronted Seth Green. Orton scolded Green for taking shots at him and reminded him that Orton doesnt control his anger. Triple H challenged Orton to a match tonight but Green said he's got a better idea. Green announced that tonight Legacy and Randy Orton will take on John Cena, Triple H and...SETH GREEN!! Throughout the night Seth Green got into shenanigans with Chris Jericho, Hornswoggle, Santino Marella and others. Later in the main event Green teamed with John Cena and Triple H and took on Legacy. Seth Green actually got physical and punched Theo DiBiase a few times before tagging out. After Cena and Triple H took out Legacy leaving Randy Orton all alone, Triple H hit Orton with a Pedigree before Cena hit Orton with a FU. While Orton laid in the ring, Seth Green tagged in and PINNED THE WWE CHAMPION RANDY ORTON. After the match the team of Cena, Seth Green and Triple H celebrated in the ring with an embarrassed Orton being consoled by Legacy on their way to the back.

DEBUT EPISODE OF THE ABRAHAM WASHINGTON SHOW
the ECW before Night of Champions debuted a brand new talk show hosted by debuting host Abraham Washington. Abraham Washington along with his sidekick Tony Atlas welcomed their first guest, the No. 1 Contender for the ECW Championship, Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer came out and the two talked about ECW's legacy and Tommy Dreamer's past and future in the land of extreme. It was a peaceful conversation before AW started making fun of Tommy Dreamer's weight and how Tommy Dreamer's best years are behind him. AW asked Dreamer how he's going to beat a youthful and much faster ECW Champion. Dreamer then insulted AW and Tony Atlas and got in Washington's face. Ryder came out from behind and attacked Dreamer while AW kept digging into Dreamer.
the debut episode of the Abraham Washington Show ended with ECW Champion Zack Ryder attacking his Night of Champions opponent Tommy Dreamer.

CHRISTIAN ATTACKS PUNK BEFORE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS
SmackDown! opens with World Heavyweight Champion Christian talking about his opponents CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Christian says both men want to act like saints but when really they are sinners. Christian talks about how Punk has a different attitude lately and Hardy is getting everything that he deserves. Christian says that he's the face of SmackDown! and this Sunday he's going to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Christian says Punk preaches about a straight edge lifestyle and he's sick and tired of it. Christian says his opponents are two complete opposites and Christian is going to manipulate that to his advantage. Later in the night (a maskless) Rey Mysterio took on CM Punk and defeated Punk with a 619 after Hardy distracted Punk. After the match Christian came down and started attacking Punk and hit Punk with the Unprettier. Christian attempted to hit Punk with the conchairto but Hardy stopped Christian. Christian retreated before Hardy hit Punk with the steel chair.  Christian got the last licks in on CM Punk before their Night of Champions triple threat match with Jeff Hardy. |

SHAQ ATTACK ON MONDAY NIGHT RAW
RAW opens with Jerry the King Lawler introducing the RAW Guest Host, NBA Legend and Washington Wizards center, Shaquille O'Neal. Shaq talked about how if he wasnt playing basketball he wouldve been the most dominating WWE superstar of all time. Shaq says that he's a 4x NBA Champion and tonight we are going to see 4 WWE Championship matches. WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho comes out and interrupts Shaq. Jericho mocked Shaq and talked up on he would never have ben champion without Kobe Bryant. Jericho demanded that Shaq shows him some respect or else Jericho is going to have beat some respect into Shaq. All of a sudden the Big Show comes out and stood eye-to-eye with Shaq. the Big Show mocked Shaq and tried to intimidate O'Neal. Shaq called the Big Show "fat boy" and challenged the Big Show to a match at SummerSlam. the Big Show accepted the match and said that the NBA cant come after the Big Show when he ends Shaq's career. Jericho stepped in and made the Big Show change him mind and challenged Shaq to pick a tag team tonight to challenge the Big Show and Chris Jericho. Shaq said that he knows a tag team that would love to fight and out come Cryme Tyme. Shaq booked JTG and Shad Gaspard vs the Big Show and Chris Jericho with Shaq as the special guest enforcer. The first of Shaq's Championship matches saw Mickie James Laree end Jillian Hall's 1 day WWE Diva Championship reign. The second Championship match saw the new United States Champion Kofi Kingston defeat former WWE United States Champion the Brian Kendrick in less than 10 seconds!. Cody Rhodes and Theo DiBiase defeated Carlito and Primo Colon to retain the Unified Tag Team Championships after Carlito once again left his younger brother Primo to fend for themselves. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer made an appearance on RAW and hosted an open invitational for the ECW Championship with former WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Masters answering the challenge. After getting out of the Masterlock, Dreamer hit the Death Valley Driver on Masters to retain the ECW Championship. In the main event Cryme Tyme took on the Big Show and Chris Jericho with RAW guest host Shaquille O'Neal the special guest enforcer. After the Big Show attempted to get in Shaq's face, Shaq hit the Big Show with a huge clothesline and knocked the Big Show on his back allowing JTG and Shad Gaspard to hit their finisher before Shaq putting on a referee shirt and making the pinfall giving Cryme Tyme the win. After the match Chris Jericho got in Shaq's face and Shaq hit Chris Jericho with a chokeslam. Cryme Tyme and Shaq then celebrated as RAW went off the air.

DREAMER VS RYDER FOR ECW CHAMPIONSHIP
ECW opens up with another edition of the Abraham Washington show. AW's guest tonight is the former ECW Champion and Long Island's own Zack Ryder. AW insulted Long Island and took a shot at Billy Joel (which you dont do as a Long Islander). Zack Ryder comes out with girlfriend Rosa Mendes and sat with AW. AW asked Ryder how it felt to lose the ECW Championship to an old man like Tommy Dreamer. Ryder says he doesnt look in the past, he lives in the now and tonight he's going to rematch Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Championship in his hometown of Long Island! WOO WOO WOO. AW said what will happen if you lose again but this time in front of your friends and family. Ryder asked AW if he was serious bro and said tonight Ryder is going to become a 2x ECW Champion, WOO WOO WOO. All of a sudden Shelton Benjamin came out and confronted Ryder. Benjamin who has confronted AW last week asked AW why he's not the guest on the show. Ryder interrupted and said that Benjamin cant hold a candle to Ryder and that Benjamin needs to wait his turn and when Ryder wins he'll grace Benjamin with a ECW Championship match. Benjamin said that he's looking forward to facing off for the ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer once Dreamer beats Ryder. Ryder attacked Benjamin and the two fought before Benjamin threw Ryder over AW's leather couch. Later in the main event Tommy Dreamer fought Zack Ryder for the ECW Championship. After Rosa Mendes distracted the referee, Ryder took the ECW Championship belt and hit Dreamer. Ryder went for the pin but Benjamin came down and pulled Ryder off of Dreamer. This distracted Ryder allowing Dreamer to hit the Death Valley Driver and pin Ryder to retain the ECW Championship

HARDY VS PUNK FOR WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP WITH SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE
SmackDown! opens with No. 1 Contender CM Punk coming out and talking about Jeff Hardy and the World Heavyweight Championship. After strong words to Hardy from Punk, Jeff Hardy came out and started brawling with Punk. SmackDown! Co-General Manager Theodore Long came out and restored order and announced that tonight it's going to be Jeff Hardy taking on CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship! All of a sudden Co-General Manager Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that the special guest referee for this match is going to be Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy's brother. Long and Guerrero argued afterwards. Later in the night the main event began with Matt Hardy coming out dressed in a referee's shirt. Jeff tried to talk to Matt about his position but Matt didnt look Jeff in the eye. Later in the match Jeff Hardy hit a Twist of Fate and went to pin Punk but Matt did not start the count. Jeff got in Matt's face before Punk rolled up Jeff and Matt started a face count before Jeff kicked out. Jeff got the advantage and hit a Swanton Bomb on Punk forcing Matt to make the pinfall (slow) but Matt counted to three making Jeff Hardy the winner and still World Heavyweight Championship. After the match Jeff and Matt were having words in the middle of the ring before CM Punk took a steel chair and it Jeff in the back right in front of Matt. Matt just stood there allowing Punk to keep attacking Jeff. Matt walked out of the ring and walked up the ramp while Punk put Hardy on the announce table and was about to drive Jeff through the table before Theodore Long came out and booked a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match at SummerSlam between Jeff Hardy and CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship 
After Matt Hardy was the special guest referee in his brother Jeff's World Heavyweight Championship match. CM Punk attacked Jeff to set up a TLC match at SummerSlam. |

THE RETURN OF THE HITMAN
RAW opens with the return of Bret the Hitman Hart to the WWE for the first time since 1997!. Bret Hart comes out in front of his hometown Calgary crowd to a huge ovation. Hart says that it's been a long journey to get to this point and he never thought he would stand in this ring again. Hart talks about being inducted into the Hall of Fame a few years ago and says that theres still unfinished business that he has to take care of. Hart talks about the current crop of talent and superstars. Hart introduces the No. 1 contender John Cena to the ring. Cena comes out and hugs Hart before talking about how big of a fan Cena is. Cena says that at SummerSlam he's going to win the WWE Championship and he hope Hart's in attendance to watch. All of a sudden Chris Jericho comes out and talks down Cena reminding Cena that they are in Canada and Canada is Jericho Country. Cena reminded Jericho that he left Canada and now lives in the United States. Cena challenged Jericho to a match tonight in Calgary and Hart made it official. Throughout the night Bret Hart has interactions with other superstars and bumps in Triple H. The two have a stare down before Bret and Triple H hug it out. Hart tells Triple h that he's not mad at him but he's still not a big fan of his friend. (Shawn Michaels). Later in the night the Miz runs into Bret Hart and the Miz talks down Hart before Hart puts Miz in a match tonight against a surprise opponent. Later in the night during the main event John Cena battled Chris Jericho. Cena put Jericho in the STFU before the Big Show came down and caused a disqualification. Hart came down and restarted the match and made it a tag team match between the Big Show and Chris Jericho vs John Cena and brought out Triple H. John Cena and Triple H won when John Cena hit the Big Show with a huge FU for the pinfall. After the match Bret Hart got in the ring and put Chris Jericho in the Sharpshooter.

NEW FACTION FORMS ON ECW; DREAMER VS REGAL AT SUMMERSLAM
ECW opens with General Manager Tiffany in the ring with a huge announcement regarding SummerSlam. Tiffany says due to the ending of the ECW Championship match last week Tommy Dreamer will defend his ECW Championship at SummerSlam against William Regal. Regal comes out along with Rycklon Stephens and Vladimir Kozlov. Regal gets on the microphone and introduces the new faction "the Roundtable". Regal says that they are here to take over ECW and are going after the tag team championship and the ECW Championship and at SummerSlam Regal will start the takeover. ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer comes out and tells Regal that he can try but at SummerSlam Dreamer is going to retain. Dreamer says he's seen multiple factions try to take over ECW but they all failed and Dreamer has always been the last man standing. Regal says since Dreamer is such a fighting champion than he should battle Kozlov and Stephens tonight in a tag team match and Dreamer can find whatever partner he wants. Dreamer accepts. Later in the night Dreamer announces his tag team partner as Goldust. The new team of Stephens and Kolzov win after Regal hits Dreamer with the Brass Knuckles. After the match the three men beat down Goldust and Tommy Dreamer before Christian comes out and makes his ECW return and chases the Roundtable out of the ring.
 The Roundtable is here on ECW and is looking to take all the gold for themselves. 08/21/2009: SmackDown!: Finlay defeated Mike Knox

CAREER VS TITLE AT SUMMERSLAM
SmackDown! opens up with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho alongside the Big Show. Jericho talks about the last few weeks and the dominance of the new pairing with the Big Show. Jericho says that at SummerSlam he's going to take everything away from Rey Mysterio. Jericho calls out Theodore Long to the ring. Long comes out and Jericho tells Long that at SummerSlam he's going to not only defeat Rey Mysterio but he's going to end his career. Mysterio comes out (unmasked) and says that Jericho took his identity but Mysterio has felt free for the first time in a while. Mysterio says that Jericho doesnt have to try, Mysterio will put his career on the line in the match. Mysterio says if Jericho wins, Mysterio will leave the WWE but if Mysterio wins he gets his mask back and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Jericho accepts. Mysterio is then attacked by Dolph Ziggler who beats down Mysterio. Cryme Tyme comes out to save Mysterio before Long makes a six man tag team match tonight between the Big Show, Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler vs JTG, Rey Mysterio and Shad Gaspard. The main event began and the team of JTG, Gaspard and Mysterio won after Mysterio hit the 619 on Dolph Ziggler after the Big Show and Chris Jericho left Ziggler by himself.  Mysterio will put his career on the line against Chris Jericho in a Career vs Title match at SummerSlam. |
