FLAIR CONFRONTS ORTON. STEEL CAGE MATCH AT EXTREME RULES
RAW opens with the WWE Champion Randy Orton coming down to the ring bragging about defeating Batista at Judgment Day and retaining his WWE Championship. Orton complained that Ric Flair almost cost him the WWE Championship and that Flair needs to stay home and realize his time in the main event is over. Orton says if Flair wants to keep sticking his nose in Legacy business than Orton is going to make sure he punts Flair in the head. Ric Flair then comes down to the ring and confronts his former Evolution stablemate. Flair said that Orton is a disgrace to the WWE Championship and Flair wants nothing more than Batista to end Orton's WWE Championship reign. Flair said Orton was not the man and Batista is the man now. Flair talks about Orton hiding behind his own group but thats not going to stop Batista from proving Orton is nothing more than a coward. Flair said he talked to Freddie Prinze Jr. and gave him an idea that he liked so much he made it official and Flair announced that at Extreme Rules, Randy Orton will defend his WWE Championship against Batista at Extreme Rules in a Steel Cage! Orton then told Flair if he's relaying messages than he can relay a message to Batista and Orton punched Flair in the face before beating down Flair. Legacy came down to join Orton but Batista wasnt far behind. Legacy got the upperhand before John Cena came down and cleared the ring saving both Batista and Flair.

CHRIS JERICHO WINS INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE 5TH TIME
Jim Ross introduced the WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk. Punk talks about his Intercontinental Championship match tonight against Chris Jericho. Punk says that Jericho is talented but he's also talented at running his mouth. Punk says that he also knows that Umaga is after him and if Umaga wants a piece of Punk than he'll get his after he takes care of Jericho. Punk says Jericho failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship but weaseled his way into this match because he sucks up to Vickie Guerrero. Punk talks about the tradition of the Intercontinental Championship and knows that Jericho has held it more than any man before he's not going to hold it again. Punk talks about how Jericho thinks hes in the same light as former champions like Pedro Morales, Tito Santana and Randy Savage but Jericho is nothing more than a disrespectful SOB. Punk says he doesnt want to wait until later tonight and demands Jericho to come out right now!. Out comes Jericho and before Jericho can say anything Punk tackles Jericho and the match begins. The two battled back and forth before Punk got Jericho up for the GTS but Jericho held on to the top rope and accidently clashed with the referee and knocking him down. Punk attempted to hit Jericho again but Umaga ran out and hit Punk with a Samoan Spike allowing Jericho to slowly cover Punk and win the match to become a 5x Intercontinental Champion. Jericho and Umaga were beating down Punk before Mysterio came down and chased away the new Intercontinental Champion.
 It looked like Punk would retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship but after an accidently referee bump, Umaga came and interfered hitting Punk with a Samoan Spike allowing Jericho to pin Punk and win the Intercontinental Championship for a record 5th time. |

KEN KENNEDY IS FIRED BY WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT
the WWE has come to the terms with Ken Anderson (Ken Kennedy) after an incident last night at the Staples Center between Kennedy and the WWE Champion Randy Orton. During the 10-man tag team match, Kennedy dropped Orton on the back of his neck very hard and the two had an argument after arriving in the backstage area. FLAIR BRAWLS WITH ORTON IN PARKING LOT
RAW opens with WWE Champion Randy Orton talking about his upcoming WWE Championship match against Batista at Extreme Rules. Orton says that Batista thinks he will have the upper hand "trapping" Orton in a Steel Cage but Orton has proved before he can beat Batista by himself one on one. Orton said he was the one who made Batista miss WrestleMania and Orton's going to make sure Batista will miss next WrestleMania. Orton said he's not going to need Legacy and told DiBiase and Rhodes to stay in the back and Orton will do it all by himself. Ric Flair then came out and challenged Orton to a fight tonight but Orton declined and said Flair was retired and he's never going to wrestle again (and he never did, for real, never ever, especially not in the year 2022). Flair called Orton a punk and Flair said he's going to wait in the parking lot for Orton to leave and the two will settle this tonight. Later in the night we see Ric Flair waiting for Randy Orton in the parking lot when Batista showed up and talked to Flair about leaving Orton to Batista and Batista will take care of everything at Extreme Rules. Flair said that he can fight his own battles, even if he's retired from in ring that doesnt mean Flair cant take care of business outside of the ring. Flair asked Batista to let Flair take care of this and reminded Batista that he'll always be the Nature Boy. Batista said he trusts Flair to do the right thing but also told Flair to make sure Orton makes it to Extreme Rules. At the end of the night Randy Orton entered the parking lot area looking for Flair. Flair snuck up behind Orton and the two battled in the parking lot. Flair starting putting the chops to Orton but Orton turned the tables on Flair and pushed him into the wall. Orton attempted to RKO Flair on a car but Flair reversed it and got Orton in a Figure-4 Leglock. All of a sudden Legacy joined in the battle and helped Orton beat down Flair in a 3-on-1 assault but Orton sent Legacy to the back. Batista entered the parking garage from far away and before Batista can save Flair, Orton punted Flair in the head leaving the Nature Boy out on the concrete. Batista held Flair's prone body before screaming that Orton is going to get his at Extreme Rules.

THE CUTTING EDGE WITH JEFF HARDY
SmackDown! opens with the World Heavyweight Champion hosting an episode of the Cutting Edge. Edge is sitting on top of a ladder in the ring which is surrounded by another ladder sitting underneath the World Heavyweight Championship belt. Edge introduces his challenger at Extreme Rules, Jeff Hardy who entered the ring and climbed the ladder and sat across from Edge. Hardy said if Edge wanted to be "up here" because Hardy doesnt like climbing down ladders. Hardy reminded Edge that he is extremely comfortable on ladders. Edge says he knows very clear what it's like to be in near ladders and Jeff Hardy. Edge says that at Extreme Rules, Jeff Hardy and him will battle in a Ladder match and Hardy is not going to climb the ladder and take the World Heavyweight Championship away from Edge. Edge says its the same old song and dance and Jeff Hardy is going to fail the big one. Jeff reminded Edge that he won the WWE Championship in December and Sunday he's going to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy said that he's looking forward to looking down on Edge when Hardy is on top of the ladder pulling down the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge says he'll be lucky to make it to Sunday before Edge bashed Jeff with the World Heavyweight Championship causing Jeff to crash down on the floor. Edge stood above on the ladder looking down on Hardy. Later in the night Jeff Hardy and Edge brawled back to the ring and Hardy grabbed a ladder from under the ring and set Edge on the announce table and Swanton bombed both Edge and himself through the table.  Both Edge and Jeff Hardy exchange their final words before their Ladder match at Extreme Rules. |

NEW SENIOR ADVISOR FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNOUNCED ON "THREE 4 ALL CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT"
RAW opens with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon powerwalking down to the ring. McMahon announces that tonight is very special for two reasons. McMahon says that all three World Championships will be defended tonight with the ECW, World and WWE Championships at stake. McMahon also said that he got an email earlier in the day that a new "Senior Advisor" is going to be revealed at the end of the night. McMahon says that this person has authority in the company almost as much as McMahon so its a very powerful figurehead in the company. McMahon doesnt know who this person is but he has heard rumors that it's somebody from his past which can be numerous names and personalities. McMahon starts off the "Three 4 All" with the ECW Championship match. Zack Ryder successfully defended his ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer. The next match was a triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Christian defending against his former tag team partner Edge and Jeff Hardy. The three went back and forth before Jeff Hardy went and hit a Swanton Bomb on Edge allowing Christian to throw Hardy out of the ring and pin Edge to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The third and final match was a Four Way Elimination match between WWE Champion Batista, the Big Show, John Cena and Randy Orton. During the match, the Miz ran down to the ring and broke up a pin from John Cena on the Big Show forcing John Cena to chase the Miz to the back and getting counted out. Surprisingly Batista and Randy Orton teamed up and took out the Big Show before Batista and Randy Orton were the last two fighting. Randy Orton got Batista down and was ready to punt Batista in the head but Triple H's music hit and Triple H came down and distracted Orton long enough for Batista to hit the Batista Bomb on Orton for the pinfall and to retain the WWE Championship. After the match Triple H motioned to Batista that he is still owed a WWE Championship match. Later in the night Vince McMahon came back out and said that he's been wondering all night who is the Senior Advisor is, McMahon says he hopes its one of his children because he knows that WWE will be in good hands with another powerful McMahon. All of a sudden out comes the Senior Advisor, DONALD TRUMP. Trump came down and confronted Vince letting him know that Trump has bought stock into the WWE and not only is he the Senior Advisor of the Board of Directors, he's also now the owner of Monday Night RAW. Trump says the fans deserve something special from now on and Trump is going to give back to the people. Trump says that next week RAW will be commercial free and Trump is going to run RAW his way, the right way. McMahon said if Trump is in charge of RAW than Vince McMahon will never step foot on Monday night ever again. Trump demanded McMahon's microphone was cut off. McMahon called his bluff but shockingly McMahon's microphone was cut off. Trump showed his power already and said that a new era of RAW has begun.

MASK VS TITLE AT THE BASH
Chris Jericho the WWE Intercontinental Champion comes out on SmackDown! and talks about Rey Mysterio. Jericho says that he will face Mysterio at the Bash for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Jericho says he's not a coward who hides behind a mask like Mysterio does. Jericho points out three Rey Mysterio fans sitting in the front row. Jericho gets out of the ring and gets in the fans faces and tells him that they cheer on a coward and they are cowards too. One of the Mysterio fans punches Chris Jericho and hops the rail only to be revealed as Rey Mysterio himself. Mysterio hits Jericho with a hurricanrana on the steel steps and leaves in celebration. Later in the night Rey Mysterio comes out to talk about his upcoming match and his actions earlier in the evening. Mysterio says it feels great to shut up Jericho even if it's just for the night. Mysterio says he's going to take Jericho's Intercontinental Championship which has been Jericho's identity. Jericho comes out and says if Mysterio wants to take away his identity than Jericho will take away his and challenged Mysterio to put his mask on the line against Jericho's Intercontinental Championship at the Bash. Mysterio talked about the tradition of the mask and how his family legacy goes back generations. TRIPLE THREAT MATCH AT THE BASH FOR WWE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THREE STAGES OF HELL.
RAW Owner Donald Trump opened up the show and announced that tonight there will be a No. 1 Contender crowned for Batista's WWE Championship. Trump said tonight Randy Orton will take on Triple H in the main event Last Man Standing match with the winner going on to the championship match at the Bash. Trump says that if Legacy interferes in the match than Randy Orton will never have a WWE Championship match on RAW as long as Trump's in charge. Randy Orton came out and confronted Trump. Orton says he could never think of somebody more egotistical as McMahon running the show but Orton was wrong. Orton said he's named the Legend Killer but tonight he might have to change his nickname to the Billionaire Killer. Trump says that if he lays one hand or foot on him than Orton will be sued for every cent that he has and will never sniff a WWE Championship match. Orton told Trump that Orton does what Orton does and tonight Orton's going to win and go on to become WWE Champion once again and then make sure Trump personally puts the WWE Championship belt around his waist. Later in the night Randy Orton and Triple H fought in a Last Man Standing match with the WWE Champion Batista coming down to do commentary. After Triple H went for a Pedigree Orton pushed Triple H in the referee taking the referee out of the match. Orton went to grab a chair but Batista stopped Orton and grabbed the chair away from him. Triple H threw Randy Orton back in the ring and confronted Batista telling him that he doesnt need his help. After the two got back in the ring Randy Orton hit Triple H with a RKO and went for the pinfall but as the referee was counting Batista pulled the referee in the match and hit Randy Orton with a Batista Bomb. Shockingly Batista also hit Triple H with a Batista Bomb taking both men out and leaving the ring. The referee then came down and counted the 10 count. RAW owner Donald Trump comes on the titantron and announces that at the Bash Batista will defend his WWE Championship against Randy Orton and Triple H in a triple threat match Three Stages of Hell match. Donald Trump said if at the end of the night it is tied 1-1-1 than they will face off in Trump's own personal match choice.
 Randy Orton battled Triple H in a Last Man Standing match but Batista caused both men to not answer the 10 count. The three superstars will face off in the first ever Triple Threat Three Stages of Hell match. |

MONSTERS BASH MATCH AT THE BASH FOR THE ECW CHAMPIONSHIP
ECW Champion Zack Ryder along with his girlfriend Rosa Mendes comes to the ring and talks about his upcoming ECW Championship defense at the Bash. Ryder says last year at the Bash he won the WWE Tag Team Championships with whatshisname in their hometown of Long Island and this year he's going to retain the ECW Championship. Ryder says ECW General Manager Tiffany hasnt announced a No. 1 Contender yet and she will make the announcement after the tag team match main event. Ryder went down the four extremists that he could face and said he'll beat every single one of them no matter who he faces. Ryder said he's going to be ringside during the match and get a close look at his future opponents. Later in the main event after Tommy Dreamer hit Swagger with a DDT, Ryder distracted Dreamer allowing Swagger to tag in Henry behind Dreamer's back and hit a Worlds Strongest Slam on Dreamer. Henry pinned Dreamer as Finlay was trying to make the save but Ryder held Finlay back allowing Henry and Swagger to win the match. ECW General Manager Tiffany came out and said that at the Bash there will be the first ever Monsters Bash match with Zack Ryder defending his ECW Championship against Finlay...and Jack Swagger...and Mark Henry...and Tommy Dreamer. Tiffany announced a Monsters Bash match has no rules and all weapons are allowed.
 ECW Champion Zack Ryder's interference only hindered his chances at retaining the ECW Championship at the Bash.

LEGENDARY TAG TEAM REUNITE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY
Josh Lomberger is in the ring and brings out the former World Heavyweight Champion and No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship Jeff Hardy. Hardy comes out and talks about winning the World Heavyweight Championship against Edge only to lose it after Christian cashes in his Money in the Bank contract. Hardy says that he nearly won back the WHC during the triple threat match at RAW but Christian once again got lucky and Hardy says Christian's luck is going to end at the Bash. Hardy says Christian will have to go one-on-one at the Bash and theres no way Christian is going to get away with cutting corners in this match. Josh Lomberger than let the fans know that later in the night Christian will reunited with his former tag team partner Edge in a match with Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio. Later in the night Christian runs into Edge and the two talk about Christian's recent actions and Edge says that the World Heavyweight Championship is more important than whatsever left of their friendship. During the main event Christian and Edge won after Chris Jericho came out and took out Mysterio from the match allowing Christian to hit Jeff Hardy with an Unprettier. After the match Christian hit Edge with the World Heavyweight Championship belt and left his former tag team.  the World Heavyweight Champion Christian and former tag team partner Edge reunite for one night only. |
