MCMAHONS WANT LEGACY
RAW opens with Randy Orton (who lost last night at WrestleMania) coming down to the ring feeling the beatdown of last night's match against Triple H. Orton said that he cant believe that he lost to Triple H and he's sicken that the fans enjoyed watching Triple H bash Orton's skull in with the sledgehammer over and over and over. Orton said that he knows he's better than Triple H and last night was Orton against not only Triple H but the entire McMahon family. Orton says he wants a rematch against Triple H at Backlash or else he's going to make sure he punts ever single one of these "fans" in the head until he gets it. Orton said that he is the rightful WWE Champion and theres nothing the McMahons hate more than seeing Orton as champion. Orton said if he has to RKO every single member of the McMahon family he will, he'll even make sure to give Linda McMahon a visit. After making that threat, the Chairman Vince McMahon comes out and challenges Orton to a match at Backlash. Next came Shane McMahon that said if any McMahon is going to beat down Orton it's going to be him. Then the WWE Champion Triple H came out and joined his brother and father-in law. Triple H said that there would be nothing better than beating down Legacy along with his family and challenged Orton to a six man tag team match between Shane McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon vs Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Theo DiBiase at Backlash. Orton accepted and said he's going to be the one to take down the McMahon empire.
 Theres still alot of bad blood between the Helmsley/McMahon and Legacy faction. The two groups will face off at Backlash in a huge six man tag team match. |

NEW ECW GENERAL MANAGER ANNOUNCED PLUS CHAMPIONSHIP CHASE SERIES BEGINS
ECW opens with Co-SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long coming down to the ring. Long talks about WrestleMania and the future of ECW. Long says that Mike Adamle has left the company and thus the ECW General Manager position is open and he was the one to name the new ECW GM. Theodore Long introduced the new General Manager of ECW, his former assistant, Tiffany!. Tiffany comes out and thanks Theodore Long for the position and says that she is going to do a much better job than Adamle ever did. As Tiffany is making announcements she is interrupted by ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Swagger lets Tiffany know that he runs the show around here and Tiffany will never tell Swagger what to do. Tiffany put Swagger in his place and let him know that she is the one in control now and she's going to do whats best for ECW. Tiffany talked about how the draft this Monday can change everything and Swagger might not even be here and she'll have to strip him of the ECW Championship. Tiffany says that Swagger is still obligated to defend the ECW Championship at Backlash and booked a "Championship Chase" series in which Christian, Finlay, Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer will face off in the next upcoming weeks and every week a superstar will be eliminated until it gets down to a one on one match and the winner of that will face Swagger at Backlash for the ECW Championship. In the first part of the Championship Chase, Finlay pinned Mark Henry in the fatal four way match along with Christian and Tommy Dreamer officially eliminated Henry from the Chase and making next week a triple threat between Christian vs Finlay vs Tommy Dreamer.

CENA ON THE CUTTING EDGE; LAST MAN STANDING AT BACKLASH
A very somber Edge hosted a post WrestleMania episode of the Cutting Edge. Edge says that he hasnt slept since losing at WrestleMania and it's all because of his guest John Cena!. Edge says that he was going to host a celebration tonight but John Cena stole that moment from him. Out comes his guest the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena who proclaims "THE CHAMP IS HERE!!". John Cena hypes up his new movie "12 Rounds" that was released today. Cena asked Edge what hurts more: seeing Cena with the World Heavyweight Championship or seeing the Big Show kissing Vickie Guerrero. Edge says John Cena has stolen everything from him. Cena tells Edge to get over it because Edge took the WWE Championship away from Cena years ago. Cena calls Edge his greatest rival and at WresteMania was just another chapter in their legacy together. Cena says if Edge wants to do something about it than why not face off at Backlash for the World Heavyweight Championship. Before Edge can answer the only thing that came out of Edge's mouth is "I HATE YOU". Edge went off on a tyrant about how much he hates John Cena. Edge says at Backlash this is finally going to end and Edge will be the last man standing. Cena says if you want some, come get some before Edge tried to attack Cena but Cena counted and tackled Edge and the two brawled around the Cutting Edge stage before Edge rolled out of the ring.

WWE DRAFT
RAW opens with the Chairman Vince McMahon and his son Shane in the ring talking about tonight's WWE draft. the McMahons also bring up the match at Backlash against Legacy. McMahons say that at Backlash, they will be getting retribution against Legacy. Triple H comes down and joins the McMahons and talks about how Orton started all this and Triple H is going to finish this. All of a sudden SmackDown! Co-General Manager Vickie Guerrero came out with her nephew Chavo. Vickie said this might be RAW but on these tri-branded nights she has power just as she would on SmackDown! and said that tonight she has given Randy Orton the night off. Vickie also booked a tag team match between Shane McMahon and Triple H vs Cody Rhodes and Theo DiBiase. The action kicks off with Rey Mysterio (RAW) took on Evan Bourne (ECW) with the winner earning a draft class. Mysterio won after a high explosive match and RAW got the draft pick which is the WWE United States Champion, Colt Cabana! The second match was Kane (RAW) taking on the Brian Kendrick with Mike Knox. Kendrick tried to hide behind Knox but Kane took both of them out easily and made short work of Kendrick and RAW was awarded the next draft pick and it's the Big Show! We see RAW General Manager Freddie Prinze Jr in his office with a huge announcement. Prinze says that the Board of Directors have added a stipulation to the Backlash six man main event between Shane McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon vs Legacy. Prinze says that if Legacy gets the win than Randy Orton will become the WWE Champion and if Helmsley/McMahon gets the win, Triple H will retain the WWE Championship. The next match was a six-divas tag team match when Maryse, Michelle McCool and Natalya representing SmackDown! defeated Kelly Kelly, Melina, and Mickie James Laree representing RAW giving SmackDown! the next draft pick which is Santina Marella!! The next match was a Champion vs Champion match with two draft picks at stake when World Heavyweight Champion John Cena defeated ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Cena defeated Swagger with a FU and earned RAW both draft picks which were Matt Hardy and the WWE Divas Champion, Maryse!. The next match was the Great Khali taking on Santino Marella. Santino says that he wishes his sister Santina good luck on SmackDown!. the Great Khali won with a quick spike to the head and won the draft pick for SmackDown! which was the WWE Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk! The next match was Kofi Kingston from RAW taking on Mark Henry from ECW, Kingston defeated the Worlds Strongest Man and with RAW's draft pick Ken Kennedy returned and was drafted to RAW. A huge tri-branded Battle Royal was next with all three brands being represented. The winner was Ron Killings from SmackDown! which earned them both the Big Red Machine, Kane and Chris Jericho!. Christian representing ECW then defeated Shelton Benjamin representing SmackDown! With this win it gave ECW their first draft pick and that was Vladimir Kozlov! Matt Hardy (who is now on RAW) faced off against Intercontinental Champion CM Punk (who is now on SmackDown!). Matt Hardy won by disqualification when brother Jeff came out and battled with Matt. Thus giving RAW a draft pick being the Brian Kendrick. Chris Jericho (now on SmackDown!) made quick work from Tommy Dreamer (ECW) with the draft pick being Rey Mysterio! The next match was the main event which featured Shane McMahon and Triple H taking on Cody Rhodes and Theo DiBiase. After going back and forth Randy Orton (who was not supposed to be here) came out and attacked Shane McMahon and Triple H causing a disqualification. The three men attacked Shane and Triple H before Vince McMahon ran down to the ring. Even though Vince tried to help, Legacy attacked him before handcuffing Shane and Triple H before beating down Vince McMahon. Helpless, it seemed like Randy Orton was about to punt Vince but out comes THE ANIMAL BATISTA!! Batista came out and cleared house and uncuffed Shane and Triple H. Legacy scurried away before Vince McMahon announced that Batista will be taking his place in the six man tag team match at Backlash.
 Batista has returned and will team with Shane McMahon and Triple H against Legacy at Backlash. Colt Cabana (the United States Champion) was drafted to RAW from SmackDown! the Big Show was drafted to RAW from SmackDown! Santina Marella (the Womens Champion) was drafted to SmackDown! from RAW Matt Hardy was drafted to RAW from SmackDown! Maryse (the Divas Champion) was drafted to RAW from SmackDown! CM Punk (the Intercontinental Champion) was drafted to SmackDown! from RAW Ken Kennedy was drafted to RAW from SmackDown! CONTRACT SIGNING BETWEEN CHRISTIAN AND JACK SWAGGER
After defeating Finlay in the finals of the Championship Chase on the debut episode of Superstars, Christian advanced to Backlash and will take on Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship. ECW General Manager Tiffany set up a contract signing between the two. Out comes Christian and then the ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Swagger gets on the microphone and talks about how hes a Real American and he's sick of being in the UK and cant wait to beat Christian at Backlash. Christian then quietly signed the contract without saying a word. Swagger pokes fun of Christian for leaving and coming back only to lose a title shot. Swagger says that the Money in the Bank contract can not be cashed in at Backlash so even if Christian loses he only gets one shot. Swagger said that Christian shouldve stayed home and not try to stop the rise of Swagger. Swagger says he's better, faster and stronger than anybody Christian has ever faced. Christian finally spoke up and teased Swagger about running his mouth while wearing his "high school graduation" suit. Christian reminded Jack Swagger that Christian has won championships everywhere he goes and the next championship he has in mind is the ECW Championship. Swagger says if Christian wins, he'll be ECW Champion and the Money in the Bank holder and if Swagger loses (which he wont) he leaves home with nothing? Swagger challenged Christian to put the Money in the Bank briefcase on the line which Christian accepted. Tiffany made the match official and both men got up and went face to face before Swagger pushes Christian causing Christian to attack Swagger. Swagger got the upper-hand and powerbombed Christian through the table before standing over Christian's body with the ECW Championship. ![]()  After winning the Championship Chase series, Christian will face Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship. JERICHO CHALLENGES STEAMBOAT AT BACKLASH
SmackDown! opens with Chris Jericho (who was drafted to SmackDown!) coming down to the ring. Jericho said that for the last year on RAW he felt like an honest man on an island surrounded by liars. Jericho says that he doesnt feel like that now that he's on SmackDown! and he's glad to be off of RAW forever. Jericho says that now he's on SmackDown! things are going to change for the better. Jericho says theres just one thing he needs to do before he can conquer SmackDown! and that's take out Ricky the Dragon Steamboat. Steamboat came out to confront Jericho. Steamboat says that he helped Rourke defeat Jericho because Jericho is disrespectful no matter what brand he's on and if Jericho thinks hes going to achieve anything with that attitude than hes WRONG. Steamboat says that he's unappreciative of what the legends have done for people like Jericho but Jericho did one thing, he lit the passion for this business once again for Steamboat. Jericho said if he wants to bask in his glory one more time than Steamboat should go one on one with Chris Jericho and keep his parasite friends out of the picture. Steamboat says that he's been waiting for a reason to come back and beating up Jericho would be the perfect reason to come out of retirement. Steamboat extended his hand to Jericho to make the match official but Jericho laughed away. Tazz (Peter Senerchia) has left the World Wrestling Entertainment after nearly a decade with the company. Tazz and the WWE could not reach an extension on his contract and his contract expired the night after WrestleMania. the WWE wishes Tazz the best in his future endeavors.

 An emotional Jeff Hardy still Swanton Bomb'd his brother Matt Hardy even after Matt who was tied to a table said "I Quit" ![]()  After Batista lost control and caused a disqualification, that meant Triple H would lose the match and the WWE Championship meaning Randy Orton has once again become the WWE Champion. After Edge speared John Cena through a floodlight on the Backlash set, Cena failed to answer the 10 count and Edge won the World Heavyweight Championship once again.

BATISTA APOLOGIZES AND CONFRONTS RANDY ORTON RAW opens up with the No. 1 Contender Batista coming down to the ring. Batista grabs a microphone and talks about the last few weeks and how at Backlash he blew it big for Triple H. Batista apologized to Triple H for losing his cool and causing a disqualification and causing Triple H to lose the WWE Championship. Batista says Triple H is out of action for a few weeks and it's all Batista's fault but he will make it right now that he's the No. 1 contender and will face Randy Orton at Judgment Day for the WWE Championship. Batista said once he wins the WWE Championship and Triple H is back Triple H will be get a shot at the WWE Championship. Batista says that he's apologized to Shane and the rest of the McMahon family because Batista knows how personal this was for them. Batista says that tonight him and Shane are teaming up against Legacy and they will get some payback for Triple H. Randy Orton comes out solo and talks to Batista about how Orton wants to think Batista for helping Orton win the WWE Championship. Orton says that Batista was always better than Triple H and he has nothing to apologize for. Orton says that Batista will not win the WWE Championship but if he wants to keep interfering in Legacy's business than Orton will put Triple H back on the shelf for another few months and Triple H can join him. Batista says tonight him and Shane are going to kick Legacy's ass and in a few weeks Orton will be the former WWE Champion. Cody Rhodes and Theo DiBiase attempted to attack Batista but Batista countered them before Orton landed a RKO on Batista. The handicap main event began with Legacy dominating the match. Shane laid out both DiBiase and Rhodes on the announce table and took the leap of faith and crashed through the announce table!. The match came down to Batista and Randy Orton and Batista drove Randy Orton in the steel steps. As EMT's came down to check on the other members of the match, Randy Orton took one of the stretchers that came down and hit Batista with it causing a disqualification. Orton grabbed Legacy's fallen bodies and the WWE Championship while the EMT's put Shane on a stretcher and were attending to Batista.  the battle between Batista and Randy Orton has hit an all new personal high and the two will battle for the WWE Championship at Judgment Day. |

CHALLENGE MADE ON THE PEEP SHOW FOR JUDGMENT DAY
ECW Champion Christian welcomed everybody to the first ever episode of the Peep Show on ECW. Christian announced that his guest was the former ECW Champion, Jack Swagger. Christian introduced Swagger to the ring. Swagger got on the microphone and told Christian that the "Peep Show" was stupid and Christian being ECW Champion was stupid too. Swagger said Christian got lucky at Backlash and showed Christian winning after exposing the steel turnbuckle causing Swagger to run into it allowing Christian to hit the Unprettier and become ECW Champion. Swagger said that Christian is a thief just like every single person in the crowd. Christian said that Swagger was just mad that Christian is smarter than Swagger and makes fun of Swagger for complaining about Christian being "too extreme". Swagger got made at Christian and said he wants his ECW Championship back and challenged Christian to a match at Judgment Day. Christian said we can fight right here but Swagger reminded Christian that ECW General Manager put a "no physicality" during the Peep Show. Christian then said "the shows over" and sucker punched Swagger out of the ring and accepted Swagger's challenge for Judgment Day. ![]()  On the first ever episode of the Peep Show on ECW, Christian accepted Jack Swagger's challenge to a ECW Championship match at Judgment Day. 05/15/2009: SmackDown!: Jeff Hardy defeated Ricky Ortiz

CHANGES MADE TO WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AT JUDGMENT DAY
SmackDown! opened with Chris Jericho coming down to the ring. Jericho grabs a microphone and talks about Judgment Day and how the meaning of Judgment Day is where everybody must atone for everything they have done. Jericho says that he has to do what he's got to do because he is a pure-hearted man. Jericho said it is time that he becomes what he promised he would be and that's the World Heavyweight Champion and called out Co-General Manger Theodore Long. Theodore Long came out and Jericho demanded Long add Jericho to the World Heavyweight Championship match at Judgment Day. Jericho said theres nobody in that locker room that deserves to be World Heavyweight Champion as much as Jericho does. Jericho says that SmackDown! is his show and that he made his debut on the first ever episode of SmackDown! All of a sudden out comes Rey Mysterio to the ring to confront Jericho. Mysterio says that SmackDown! has been in his heart since day one and that Mysterio was paving the road on SmackDown! years ago while Jericho was goofing off on RAW. Mysterio says that nobody else has love for SmackDown! than Mysterio does and that he should be the World Heavyweight Champion once again. Theodore Long told the playas to hold on a second and made a main event between Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio with the winner moving on to the main event of Judgment Day. Later in the main event Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio put on an instant classic with near falls before the ending happened when Edge the World Heavyweight Champion came down with Chavo Guerrero and attacked both men. Jeff Hardy then came down and cleared the ring of La Familia before Theodore Long came out and added both Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio to the World Heavyweight Championship match at Judgment Day making it a Fatal Four Way.

In another close competitive match, Christian was just one step ahead of Jack Swagger and retained the ECW Championship.
After interference between Legacy and even the returning Ric Flair to aid Batista, Randy Orton defeated Batista to retain the WWE Championship

After Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio took each other out of the match, it seemed like Jeff Hardy was about to become World Heavyweight Champion until his brother Matt came down and took out Jeff once again allowing Edge to hit the Spear and pin Hardy to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. |
