Really like the Gauntlet for the Gold twist - really freshens up the main event scene and throws the Starcade card up in the air. Definitely think Steiner is getting a bit screwed here - but a shorter LMS match should net you a good grade. Oh yeah, I am looking forward to a much better grade for this match since the iron man didn't pan out how I had planned. And plus, since I have both Jerry and Jeff Jarrett working for WCW, as we move forward more early TNA ideas are bound to start sliding in... but I promise no midget beating it in a trashcan! Interesting twist with the vacated world title; wasn't expecting that. What segment did Spike tear his ACL in? Was that during the Rikishi/DDP match, or am I just overlooking something obvious? That one was my bad miss in not mentioning it, it was during the battle royal on the pre-show. My head canon is that Rosey did the standard Spike scene of gorilla pressing him out of the ring, but didn't throw him correctly. Edit: Gonna just tag onto the end of this post; something minor yet also kinda major happening. Thanks to some "movie magic" and a few hours of potentially carpel tunnel inducing work, this save file now features Asaemon's Broadcaster Database! So ratings, channel coverage, and available channels are going to have a lot of changes in the future. I'm going to try not to throw everything out the window right away, this will be a more gradual change in-game than it needs to be on my end, but it will be happening. These changes will begin with the next episode of SmackDown.

November 2001: Week 2 WWF RAW Spotlight Segment
With Shawn Michaels and Triple H standing in the ring, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin comes down to the ring. He hits the turnbuckles to pose for the crowd, glaring at the two as he walks past them each time. He finally takes the microphone from Hunter and addresses them.
“I was watchin' back there, and all I could see was you,” pointing at Triple H, “gettin' your ass handed to ya by those jackasses. Is that the guy who fought me in Three Stages of Hell? WHAT? That ain't no 'Cerebral Assassin'. WHAT? If this is all you get, then your 'game' absolutely sucks!"
The crowd aren't really sure about this, but hey, it's Steve Austin, so he gets some cheers. Austin then turns to Michaels, telling him “And then you're back there, runnin' your mouth 'Oh, my poor back! I can't go fight The Band, they're too big and strong for me! Why didn't you go help, Steve?' Well I shouldn't have had to! WHAT? I don't have to! WHAT? You're a jackass! WHAT? Is this the same guy that I ripped the torch away from at WrestleMania 14? Eh-eh! I don't think so.
“You two gotta shape up already! Nash, Hall, Sid, they ain't fixing their hair out here. They're gonna fight us at Survivor Series, and if you two ain't up to the task, then I'll open a can'a whoop ass on 'em all on my own and then finish it off on you!”
Austin puts his finger right in Triple H's chest, telling him “You started this fight. You coulda' stopped this all months ago, but now here we are. I'm in this for the ass whippin', because they pissed me off, and now they gotta pay for it. But what are you fighting for? Is your heart in this, or are they still your old drinkin' buddies? You gotta remember how 'Stone Cold' does things, how I've done to you both. You go in, guns blazin', and you stomp a mudhole in everyone in front of you, then walk it dry! You stop this namby-pamby holding back crap, and you give 'em the hell that they deserve. WHAT? Beat their asses. WHAT? And that's the bottom line, 'cause 'Stone Cold' says so!”
Tensions are high on this team, but it looks like this may have been the speech that Triple H and Shawn Michaels needed to hear! Show Notes- Haku was upset when he was asked to put over Tommy Dreamer. As everyone want their body parts to stay where they are, he was protected.
- Getting better at gimmick: Tommy Dreamer, Sycho Sid
WWF SmackDown! Spotlight SegmentThe Band are beating on Triple H in the ring, just doing damage to him. Hall, Nash, Sid, and X-Pac keep stomping on him and are having a lot of fun. They pull out spraypaint, and this looks like a scene we have seen many times before. But hey, that's Kurt Angle's music?! Kurt can't possibly come out here and fight off these odds... With a meek “beep, beep! ” into the arena drives a milk truck?! Kurt Angle is behind the wheel, obviously taking inspiration from “Stone Cold ” Steve Austin as Austin told everyone to on RAW! He drives down the ramp, hitting the ring with the truck. He distracts The Band by hurling milk cartons at them as Triple H escapes the ring, and then he pulls out his secret weapon: a milk hose, that he sprays the four men down! Michael Cole makes numerous puns like how “Milk-a-Mania is running wild here! ” which only Jim Ross would have been able to make sound good but Cole is no Jim Ross. As the show is going off the air, Angle climbs on top of the truck and toasts himself with two cartons of milk, pouring it over himself! It looks like we should have all five members volunteered for our Survivor Series main event! Show Notes- Scotty 2 Hotty and Eddie Guerrero’s gimmicks are getting stale.
- There was definitely not enough selling during the main event.
- Getting better at gimmick: Torrie Wilson
- Grand Masta Sexay was found to be on steroids during a random drug test. He was given a slap on the wrist, causing his personality to get worse.
WCW Friday Nitro Spotlight SegmentAnother victory for the young team of Chris Harris and James Storm, the two leave the ringside area but a handheld camera follows them to the back. As has been for the past few weeks, they are approached by someone: this time, it's veteran manager Jimmy Hart! As they try to walk past, “The Mouth of the South” starts following them, rattling off that "I know you two have been getting all these manager offers, but none of them have come from someone who can get things done, baby! Hahahaha! You kids need an experienced hand guiding your careers, and that's right here! Look, I can even get a new jacket made up, just to lead you to the top!”
The two don't give him an answer, telling him they'll think about it, before walking on. Jimmy stops there, but takes out his megaphone, using it to yell at them “You won't regret choosing Jimmy Hart! I'll take you straight to the top, baby! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ”Show Notes - Cassidy Riley turns face by helping Lash LeRoux win; his new Underdog gimmick rates as Average. The turn was a complete success, even though fans didn’t know they were supposed to have been against him when he arrived.
- Speaking of Lash vs. Bill, Bill needed to be both kept strong and protected to put over LeRoux without complaint.
- Scott Steiner: “Chavo Beano can’t cut it with fans, you need to ship him back to Guadalupe where he belongs.”
- Bryan Clark: “Big Vito isn’t connecting with crowds, I’m not sure he has much upside.”
- MTV Europe aren’t happy with how WCW are below the Music level they require now.
Show Notes- The “fans” at WWF New York who got pushed around by The Island were HWA standouts Lance Cade and Steve Bradley as well as (former ECW star but currently) OVW’s Nova.
Welcome everyone to the WCW Worldwide Live Mayhem Pre-Show!Show Notes- The abbreviation "MT" in the interviews is Mike Tenay.

Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; Last Man Standing Match: Booker T vs. Scott Steiner
I'm still on the fence on whether or not I like Steiner having to fight for a chance to retain, but I think you've got to give Book something here. At least Steiner will have a legit reason to request a shot at Starcade
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; final match of Goldberg's Streak: Mike Awesome vs. “Da Man” Goldberg
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Lance Storm
It's feeling a little too babyface heavy here - so I think somebody screws Rey
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Mr. Wrestling 3 vs. Sting
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: “Above Average” Mike Sanders vs. Mystery Opponent Well listen here DUDE - I'm about to return to WCW to job out Mike Sanders JACK - Whatcha gonna do BROTHER - I'm guessing VADER
WCW United States Heavyweight Championship: Buff Bagwell vs. Chuck Palumbo Here's hoping that this feud has more legs (insert Stacy Keibler joke). Buff gets counted out and we see a rematch later
Curt Hennig vs. One of the Problem Solvers Out of all of the vets that have beef with the Problem Solvers, Hennig feels the most disposable.
Mayhem Match for the WCW World Tag Team Championships: Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire vs. Fratelli vs. Da Baldies vs. KroniK
X Division Shootout: Kid Kash vs. Alex Wright vs. AJ Styles vs. “Primetime” Elix Skipper vs. Low Ki vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri
Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Mystery Veteran Team Public Enemy?
Mayhem match is a four team Caged Heat bout with weapons hanging all around the cage. 1. Who is Mike Sanders's opponent? He is a former World champion returning to WCW. Vader
2. Who are Harris & Storm's opponents? They are a returning team of veterans from 1996/1997. Public Enemy
Tiebreaker: How long will the main event last? I'm guessing it's the Gauntlet - so let's say 40:00 EDIT: I'm a dummy. Steiner & Booker always go long, so let's hope the LMS is more of a car crash - 18:30.

Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; Last Man Standing Match: Booker T vs. Scott Steiner -I have a thought here that I'm going to keep to myself for now.
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; final match of Goldberg's Streak: Mike Awesome vs. “Da Man” Goldberg
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Lance Storm Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Mr. Wrestling 3 vs. Sting -I could be way off here, but I just have a feeling that somebody screws Sting over to set up a Starrcade feud.
Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: “Above Average” Mike Sanders vs. Mystery Opponent WCW United States Heavyweight Championship: Buff Bagwell vs. Chuck Palumbo Curt Hennig vs. One of the Problem Solvers Mayhem Match for the WCW World Tag Team Championships: Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire vs. Fratelli vs. Da Baldies vs. KroniK X Division Shootout: Kid Kash vs. Alex Wright vs. AJ Styles vs. “Primetime” Elix Skipper vs. Low Ki vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Mystery Veteran Team Mayhem match is a four team Caged Heat bout with weapons hanging all around the cage.
1. Who is Mike Sanders's opponent? He is a former World champion returning to WCW. Barry Windham? 2. Who are Harris & Storm's opponents? They are a returning team of veterans from 1996/1997. Immediate thought was Public Enemy. Almost changed it to something else when I saw crackerjack go with them, but I'm sticking with my gut. Tiebreaker: How long will the main event last? 20:00

Here's hoping that this feud has more legs (insert Stacy Keibler joke). Tiebreaker: How long will the main event last? I'm guessing it's the Gauntlet - so let's say 40:00[/div][/div][/quote] I see what you did there... legs... The main event is Booker vs Steiner; Gauntlet will be at Starrcade. I'm already kinda regretting leaving the title vacant for two whole months, but I had it announced that way, so that's the way I am going to stay with it.

Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; Last Man Standing Match: Booker T vs. Scott Steiner - Booker needs to get a win eventually and this seems like a good way to set Scott up to freak out after. Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying; final match of Goldberg's Streak: Mike Awesome vs. “Da Man” Goldberg - Awesome is fun but no way Goldberg doesn't make it to Starrcade. Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Lance Storm - Someone helps Storm steal this one and screw Mysterio out of the Gauntlet Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: Mr. Wrestling 3 vs. Sting - Stinger is a solid hand to have in the Gauntlet Gauntlet for the Gold Qualifying: “Above Average” Mike Sanders vs. Mystery Opponent - ALWAYS bet on the mystery opponent. WCW United States Heavyweight Championship: Buff Bagwell vs. Chuck Palumbo - Shenanigans will be afoot but Bagwell keeps the belt for now. Curt Hennig vs. One of the Problem Solvers - Hennig is the one of the legend trio most likely to eat a pinfall to the up-and-comers. Mayhem Match for the WCW World Tag Team Championships: Mark Jindrak & Sean O'Haire vs. Fratelli vs. Da Baldies vs. KroniK - This is a shot in the dark but I think the champs lose the belt here. X Division Shootout: Kid Kash vs. Alex Wright vs. AJ Styles vs. “Primetime” Elix Skipper vs. Low Ki vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri - This was mainly a choice between Tajiri and Ki, I went with the guy I could see going for the belt at Starrcade. Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Mystery Veteran Team - I know I said always bet on the mystery opponent, but Harris and Storm are on a roll! Mayhem match is a four team Caged Heat bout with weapons hanging all around the cage.
1. Who is Mike Sanders's opponent? He is a former World champion returning to WCW. VADER TIME 2. Who are Harris & Storm's opponents? They are a returning team of veterans from 1996/1997. Time for Glacier/Ernest Miller to ride again! ...Seriously though it has to be Public Enemy. Tiebreaker: How long will the main event last? 20:00
