After much debate whether I should call this the “World Cup of Wresting”, or “The Wrestling Olympics”, I decided on the former. This will be a tournament of however many entries I receive in a single elimination style bracket fighting for their respective nation. You get to vote who would win each match and whichever wrestler gets more points wins.
Now, deciding who is chosen is hard, so I’ve decided I’m going to be lazy community oriented and let YOU decide who represents their nation. I’m going to lay down some immediate ground rules for this- For this tournament, we will be using real current singles wrestlers only. If I do more of these, we may do different time periods, tag teams, or even any wrestler from any time period however given my lack of commitment to projects I can’t promise this.
- While I would prefer one wrestler per nation, if we don’t get enough nations multiple people will represent their country
- You may go by their real nationality or their wrestling name nationality
- “From Parts Unknown” counts as a country, because I find that kinda funny
- You may suggest as many wrestlers as you like. If we did one person suggesting one wrestler each this would never take place.
- The wrestler may be from any promotion in the world. Anywhere from the WWE to an independent promotion with little to no actual footage.
With that, get to your suggestions!

Well, it doesn’t look like I’ll get any more suggestions, so Josh Spicer has chosen basically the entire roster… unfortunately, that’s 31. What an awkward number! Oh well, I guess the random list generator’s number 1 pick gets a bye into the next round. I forgot to screenshot the random.org list, however it gave us 🇹🇴Tama Tonga as the wrestler automatically making it into the second round.
You may begin voting now. Deadline is whenever I feel enough time has passed, so probably 3-4 days.
