I had a long-running multiplayer save with Blodyxe a while back, and I booked Smackdown. So, I'm changing things here and there, but aiming to keep the mood the same. I can confirm, he pushed Health Slater to be a main event player. That was a fun save, and I would still play it, but there's some Spanish symbol news item that crashes the game. Oh well Will join the predictions for Survivor Series.

WWE Survivor Series 2012
Here it is, Survivor Series! Who will survive? Considering the amount of folks that are involved in each match on the card, I'm going to post performance grades at the bottom of my round-up. Let's get started!
We kick off the show with the The Underdogs, captained by Seth Rollins, facing off against The Chosen Few, captained by US champion Drew McIntyre. Admittedly, this feels like the most "rushed" of the matches that RAW brought to the table, but I thought it was good chance to add some legitimacy to Seth, Joe Hennig, and Ted, Jr. Highlights include Ryder pinning Tensai, only for Tensai to recover and crush Ryder immediately after, Joe Hennig getting a roll-up pin on Ziggler, and Seth finally getting a big win over McIntyre to win it for his team as the sole survivor. Seth's popularity's growth has been slower than I've wanted, but he got a solid jump from the PPV win.
In my mind, Maryse has been rocking one of those comedy medical face protectors since her backstage brawl with Layla, so I took this opportunity to tag her out and add Tamina as her bodyguard/enforcer. The match was ok, but a little beneath my expectation, and wasn't helped by Kaitlyn and Gail Kim both being really off their games. In the end, Trish could do little to hold off a 3 on 1 advantage, and The Divas of Doom and Kharma survived.
I haven't put much emphasis on it on the weekly shows, but I'm still having a minor Brand Superiority feud between Austin & JBL. The payoff was supposed to be at this show, but things got shuffled around and I decided to save it for later. Austin is penciled in to make a few announcements on RAW, so hopefully this angle will be able to make a bit more sense.
The first Survivor Series match that I was really pleased with was the first Smackdown contest, with The Vipers, captained by Randy Orton, taking on The Future, captained by Cody Rhodes. As an older wrestler, one would think that Mick would be limited in this one, but he put up a 78 - not too shabby. I imagine he wouldn't do all too much - maybe getting the Mandible Claw on Kassius Ohno - but his performance has caused me to change my plans a bit. In the end, Randy Orton found himself outnumbered, and a huge European Uppercut for Cesaro stunned Orton long enough for Cody Rhodes to nail the CrossRhodes for the win.
The Conspirators were able to defeat The Boom Squad in the best Survivor Series contest of the night. On paper, the heel side is a little overpowered here, but the babyfaces were able to sneak in a few surprise eliminations - notably JTG using MVP's chain as distraction for Shad to eliminated him, and Kofi, Rey, and Evan Bourne each hitting their finishers to eliminate Kane (a result that did not please AJ Lee at ringside). Speaking of JTG, he suffered an injured eye in this match, and will be on the shelf for a few weeks. In the end, the babyfaces luck run dry, and the odd combination of The Miz and Mark Henry were left surviving.
The most disappointing contest was The Resistance, lead by Daniel Bryan, facing off against JBL's Monopoly in Smackdown's premier match. I guess some of it could be blamed by decision to include LAX and Tyson Kidd in the match, but, unfortunately, Jericho, who obviously played a big role in the match, was really off his game. But, this match did it's job, and was designed to give Ryback his biggest rub yet, re-establish Sheamus as a title contender, and give Daniel Bryan his first taste of revenge against JBL. Coincidentally, those three survived!
Finally, the main event, CM Punk (100) vs. John Cena (100)! It's an open match, 50/50 like the audience, and, to his credit, Triple H did call it down the middle. Each men kicked out of each other's finishes, leading to the climax of the match. Cena was able to hit another AA, and it looked like we were set for a new champion, but HHH was pulled out of the ring - by BROCK LESNAR! Brock nailed HHH in the head with his MITB Briefcase, before setting his sights on the exhausted Cena. Brock would nail a big F5, as the audience wondered if Brock was cashing in... but he pulled Punk's body on top of Cena. As Heyman shuffled Triple H into the ring, Brock used HHH's arm to count the pin - and gift Punk the win!
The crowd was shocked, and as Punk was helped up by Brock and Heyman, a devious smirk was shown - Punk was in on it! In reality, Punk was not pleased at all with the heel turn, and the match suffered because of his low morale. But, one big bonus later, and we're on our way to making Punk happy again. As HHH and Cena recovered, it appeared that a new dangerous alliance was here in the WWE!
Overall, a fun show to book. but one that suffered grade wise. AI thought JTG, Cesaro, Ohno, and Homicide was used too much (which is a bit sketchy - I guess it's basing it of match time, but they would have all been eliminated at sometime during the match [except Cesaro]), and DirectTV wasn't too pleased either. Still, I had a good time, and now we're focused on building to the Rumble. Here's some match grades:
Now that that's out of the way, let's look at prediction scores:
