FWF Vol 2: Eruption?! was a professional wrestling event that took place on a cruise ship in the Pacific Ocean. The main event featured a six-man tag team three-way elimination match, where the last surviving member of each team would face each other in a triple threat match to determine the number one contender for the FWF World Title. The match saw Chris Hero, JT Dunn and Donovan Dijak representing the United States, YAMATO, Naruki Doi and Cyber Kong representing Japan, and Kerry von Erich, Kevin von Erich and David von Erich representing Texas. The match was a chaotic brawl that lasted over an hour, with each team using their signature moves and tactics to eliminate their opponents. The first team to be eliminated was the Japanese team, after Cyber Kong was pinned by Kevin von Erich following a claw hold. The second team to be eliminated was the Texas team, after David von Erich was pinned by JT Dunn following a death by elbow. The final three competitors were Chris Hero, JT Dunn and Kevin von Erich, who fought valiantly for the coveted title shot. In the end, Chris Hero emerged victorious after hitting Kevin von Erich with a roaring elbow and pinning him for the three count. Chris Hero celebrated his win and pointed at the FWF World Champion Ric Flair, who was watching from ringside, setting up their match for FWF Vol 3: The Summit of Mt. Flair.
The event also featured a tag team three-way dance between Cornelius Crummels and Sonny Defarge, Solo Darling and Travis Huckabee, and Miyu Yamashita and Safire Reed. The match was a fast-paced and exciting contest that showcased the diverse styles and personalities of the teams. The match ended when Miyu Yamashita hit Solo Darling with a skull kick and pinned her for the win, earning her team a future tag team title opportunity.
Another highlight of the event was the last dance match between HIMAWARI and Shino Suzuki, two Japanese female wrestlers who had a heated rivalry over their hair. The stipulation of the match was that the loser would be thrown into the ocean off the boat and would also have to shave their head. The match was a brutal and emotional affair that saw both women use various weapons and submissions to try to make their opponent quit. The match ended when HIMAWARI locked in a sleeper hold on Shino Suzuki and choked her out, rendering her unconscious. HIMAWARI then dragged Shino Suzuki to the edge of the boat and threw her into the water, while cutting off a lock of her hair as a trophy.
The event also saw two title changes in the IPW Euro Title division. First, Bobby Gunns defeated Shigehiro Irie in a nunchucks, tables, kendo sticks and chain match to win the title for the first time. The match was a violent and hardcore spectacle that saw both men use all the weapons at their disposal to inflict pain on each other. The match ended when Bobby Gunns wrapped a chain around Shigehiro Irie's neck and choked him out, while hitting him with repeated kendo stick shots. Bobby Gunns celebrated his victory with his trademark cigarette in his mouth, but his celebration was cut short by Moose, who attacked him from behind and invoked his 24/7 rule to challenge him for the title. Moose quickly hit Bobby Gunns with a spear and pinned him to win the IPW Euro Title for himself. Moose then escaped with his new title, while Bobby Gunns was left lying in the ring.
FWF Vol 2: Eruption?! was a successful event that delivered on its promise of high-octane action and drama. The event set up several intriguing matches for FWF Vol 3: The Summit of Mt. Flair, where Ric Flair will defend his FWF World Title against Chris Hero.
