Guess I’ll try a new venture and book WWE, starting from October 2023. I’ll use the database on PWS just to keep track of the world, and to add some unpredictabilities, like injuries, suspensions, contracts and such.
I’m going to write only the PLEs, explaining the build behind the matches and the various storylines. Since I’m starting in October, I already will make some changes, distancing myself from the real product - by the way, Fastlane won’t be the October PLE, being replaced by No Mercy - just a personal preference.
With that being said, bare with me in this journey!

In the opener, John Cena faced Jimmy Uso. When the leader of the Cenation came back to SmackDown!, due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, he immediately found himself in collision course with the Bloodline, once again. However, it wasn’t Roman Reigns who had a problem with him, instead it was Jimmy Uso. Jimmy insulted Cena in the following weeks, saying that Cena didn’t have anywhere to go and went back to WWE, while Cena replied saying that Jimmy didn’t have anywhere to go either, and went back to the same Bloodline he and his brother were trying to destroy. It was a heated match, and Jimmy really sold Cena’s offense very well. In the end, an AA put an end to the bout.
After the match, an irate Jimmy superkicked Cena, and started pummeling him to the ground… but then, LA Knight rushed to the ring! The Megastar layed out Jimmy with a BFT for the joy of the crowd, and then stood tall alongside Cena.
Following the commercial break, we see the Bloodline backstage, minus Roman. Solo and Heyman are really disappointed in Jimmy, who tries to convince them that he can fix his mistakes, that he wants to support the cause. Solo, in response, warns his brother, saying that he will finish the job, and he better not get in his way while he does it.
In the second match of the night, the Judgment Day put their titles on the line against Alpha Academy. Gable & Otis almost pulled off a miracle to cap off their underdog story, which, instead, saw the Judgment Day victorious once again.
Rey Mysterio defended the United States Championship against The Almighty Bobby Lashley. After Lashley came back, bringing the “new and improved” Street Profits with him, he had a goal in mind, to bring some gold into the group. And because of that, soon Lashley and the Profits faced off with the LWO. In the last episode of SD! before the PLE, the Street Profits faced Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro, with the stipulation being that the leader of the winning faction would have chosen the stipulation for the match at No Mercy. LWO pulled off the upset victory, and so Rey chose a stipulation that would benefit him, a Ladder Match. Lashley, on the other hand, made sure to gain some kind of advantage tonight, by attacking the champ during his entrance. LWO and Street Profits came out, leading to a huge brawl between the two groups. When the dust settled, the match officially began, and Rey tried everything to stop Lashley, using chairs and ladders to gain the upper hand. In the closing moments, Lashley reached Rey on top of a ladder, and locked him in the Hurt Lock. Once Rey passed out, Lashley let him crash and burn on a table below. Then, he grabbed the title with no sweat, thus becoming the new US champion.
The LWO came out once again, this time to help their leader on his feet, while Lashley celebrated in the ring with Dawkins and Ford.
Backstage, the Judgment Day is interrupted by Kayla Braxton, who wants to interview Rhea Ripley regarding her match tonight. Rhea says that she isn’t scared of Nia, but the latter appears from behind, putting the champ down. Nia kept attacking Rhea, launching her against some boxes full of equipment. The two were then separated, and medical staff surrounded Rhea, who clutched her arm in pain.
IYO SKY defends the Undisputed Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. With Bianca on the shelf, The Queen immediately stood up to the champ, laying out a challenge on the SmackDown! after SummerSlam. The match was a hard-fought one, even if Charlotte found herself in a 1v3 situation, due to the interferences of both Bayley and Dakota Kai. Near the end, Bayley slipped the title belt on the ring for IYO to grab it, only for her to be seen by the referee. Charlotte took advantage of the situation with a thunderous Spear, coming very close to the victory. IYO recovered, turning a Natural Selection into a roll-up to defend her title.
Although IYO has retained, both her and Dakota seem displeased with Bayley’s actions.
A video package is played on the titantron, hyping up Logan Paul appearance on the next RAW.
GUNTHER defends the Intercontinental Championship against Jey Uso. After being brought to RAW by Cody, Jey was focused on rebuilding his image after 3 years spent causing havoc with the Bloodline. Jey said he was one man’s army now, and wanted to prove himself against the best of the best of the RAW roster. GUNTHER stepped up, convinced of the fact that Jay wouldn’t be able to redeem himself, nor to have success without his brother. This sparked a harsh feud between the two, which culminated tonight. GUNTHER came out alone, without Aichner and Vinci, and went to war with Jay, who gave his all, almost pinning the champ after a Uso Splash. In the closing moments, with the referee down, Jey was ready to finish GUNTHER… until Jimmy Uso came down to the ring, striking his brother with a Superkick. GUNTHER put down Jey with his Powerbomb, keeping his legendary title reign alive. Jimmy has once again cost Jey a title opportunity.
Then, it was time for the World Women’s Championship match. Nia arrived at the ring, insisting she should be awarded the title by forfeit. Adam Pearce confronted her, until Rhea made her way to the ring, with the right arm visibly taped. Rhea insisted she was ready to fight, thus the match started. Nia immediately targeted Rhea’s injured arm, and kept attacking it for the whole match. Rhea winced in pain and showed a lot of endurance. Dominik jumped on the apron with a towel, ready to throw it, but Rhea stopped him. Nia kept attacking the arm, even with Rhea near the ropes, forcing the referee to call for the DQ.
Rhea may have retained the title, but for the first time since the beginning of her reign, she was put in her place. Nia stood tall, satisfied, and got confronted by a furious Dominik, whom got laid out with a Samoan Drop.
It’s main event time! A longtime friendship may spark into a rivalry when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn try to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at the expense of Seth Rollins. The former tag team champions struggled to keep it friendly in the build for the PLE, and things exploded tonight. All three of them fought tooth and nails, and in the end, with Rollins outside the ring, Zayn tried to end things with a Helluva Kick, only to be intercepted by Owens with a Stunner. But before he could cover his friend, Rollins hit KO with a Curb Stomp, retaining the title at last.
Shoutout to dxvsnwo1994, from whom I took a lot of inspiration for the layout of the show. Hope you don't mind!
Predictions: Asaemon - 3/7
