BREAKING: WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION TED DIBIASE MELTS THE TITLE, MAKES A NEW BELT DESIGN On an episode of WWF Superstars, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase announced that he had melted down the original WWF World Heavyweight Title and used the gold to create a new title design. DiBiase has also announced he had bribed the WWF higher ups to rebrand and rename the title in his own image. He reveals this new title, and the new name, The "WWF World Million Dollar Championship".

BREAKING: WWF WOMEN'S WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE JUMPING BOMB ANGELS UNIFY THE TITLES WITH THE WWWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
At the most recent All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling show in July, The Jumping Bomb Angels (Itsuki Yamazaki and Noriyo Tateno) have unified the WWF Women's World Tag Team titles with the WWWA Tag Team titles, defeating the WWWA Tag Team champions Bull Nakano and Grizzly Iwamoto and through the working relationship of both WWF and AJW, have unified the titles together. AJW would get higher stock in the use of the titles and thus, they would keep the titles. WWF would make these titles officially defunct.

BREAKING: HULK HOGAN ANNOUNCES HE WILL BE RETIRING FROM IN-RING COMPETITION IN 1990 Former WWF World Heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan has announced during a late night talk show interview that he will be retiring from full time in-ring competition next year. The reason being is that he's getting older and is investing more in a career in Hollywood as an actor.
