Pre-Show: "Pastor" Sean O'Haire def. "Reverend" D-Von Dudley
Since losing the World Tag Team titles after what was considered a dominant reign, the two member's of the church would battle it out in singles competition, but it would end with the younger, more potential filled Sean O'Haire getting the victory. After the match he looks at the crowd and let's the audience know on the mic that he doesn't belong in a church anymore, that he's going to aim to greater heights, because he sold his soul to the devil.
WWE Women's Wrestling Project Championship Scramble: Gail Kim def. Kyoko Kimura, Sugar Sato, Nanae Takahashi, Amazing Kong, and Faby Apache
WWE and JWP's working relationship has allowed both companies to come together and create a new championship that is shared between JWP and WWE's SmackDown brand, officially introducing women's wrestling and a women's division to the Blue Brand. Every single woman was able to get a decent amount of action in, but the one who remains victorious is former Women's World and Women's Tag Team Champion, the "International Woman" Gail Kim.
WWE United States Championship: Kenzo Suzuki (w/Hiroko Suzuki) def. Mark Jindrak (w/Melina Perez) (c)
The win streak continues as the "Renegade from the Rising Sun" Kenzo Suzuki defeats Mark Jindrak, defeating the "Perfect Specimen" in a short, but fun contest. Jindrak's presence seemed intimidating, but Suzuki got the upper hand and gave him some strong offense. After the match, 2 Japanese body guards surround Suzuki and a Japanese woman in a suit, and then proceed to put the boots to Jindrak, adding insult to injury. The commentary gets word that these two body guards are named Keiji Sakoda, and Akio Hayashi, and the woman's name is Kayo Suzuki, assuming she's related to Kenzo in some way.
NOTE: Keiji Sakoda is Ryan Sakoda, Akio Hayashi is Jimmy Yang, and Kayo Suzuki is Ayako Hamada.
WWE Junior Heavyweight Championship: Low Ki def. Amazing Red (c)
Former tag partners collide in an unforgettable bout. Low Ki is tired of being held down, and so his stiff striking ability is able to overpower and intimidate Amazing Red throughout the match. "The World Warrior" picks up a victory, and the Junior Heavyweight Championship.
World Tag Team Championships: La Resistance (Sylvain Grenier and Robert Conway) def. Hurricane Heroes (The Hurricane and Super Rosey) (w/Super Stacy)
La Resistance continue their reign of terror putting the hurt on the team of happy go lucky superheroes, even with the dazzling looks of Super Stacy, it's not enough to break through La Resistance's determination. La Resistance would get the victory and their reign continues to live another day.
WWE Women's World Cbampionship; Hardcore Match: Emi Motokawa (c) def. Nora Holly
The rule book is thrown out here and while it's filled with brawling, plunder, and both women showing color, Emi gets the win over Nora.
WWE Tag Team Championships: V-1 (Maven Huffman and Matt Cappotelli) def. Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi (c), and The Basham Brothers (Doug and Danny Basham)
All 3 teams give it their all, but when it seemed like Misawa and Kobashi would retain the championships, Kurt Angle would interfere, taking down Misawa and giving Kobashi a massive Angle Slam for his troubles, and with that, the champions are out of the picture, and it leads to Matt Hardv Version 1 also interferring, helping his fellow members of V-1 gain the victory and the championships.
Edge def. Christian Cage (w/Travis Tomko)
After nearly a year and a half out of action, Edge would return and would make a huge statement, attacking his former partner after it. The weeks following would see Edge explain why he didn't help out his former partner, and said he wanted to carve his own path in his WWE career, not being tied to his former partner. The match sees a fever pitch of adrenaline and energy from Edge triumphantly getting the victory over his former partner. The ending of the match would lead to the two brawling and having to be pulled apart and then escorted out of the building.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Abyss (c) def. Chris Jericho
Y2J would make his return a month ago after a hiatus, and he would aim once again for the Intercontinental Championship, not realizing that to win that title back, he has to defeat a monster in the form of Abyss. And unfortunately, he wasn't able to.
WWE Championship: John Cena def. Eddie Guerrero (c)
SmackDown GM Paul Heyman made this match as Cena felt he was worthy of getting another shot at the title. After gaining a decent win streak on SmackDown leading to the match, and Eddie in the process steals John Cena's "Chain Gang" spinning chain when he least expects it. What was initially a contest of "Who's better" turns personal when on the go-home, Eddie reveals a new platinum chain that he created with Guerrero's logo in it, and it leads to the two coming to blows. This match is a good competitive contest, but when it was all said and done, John Cena got the victory. After the match, Eddie Guerrero is met by his best friend, a brother from another mother, Rey Mysterio, as a means of comfort and help after losing.
3 Stages of Hell: Monty Brown def. Triple H (w/Batista, Ric Flair, and Randy Orton)
The first fall goes in The Game's favor, as he's able to keep himself collected and under control, however, within the second fall, things start to fall apart, and it leads to The Alpha Male continuing to destroy Triple H, frustrated after weeks of intimidation from HHH and his Renegades on Raw, Monty gets the second fall, as the cell drops for the Third Fall, both men, bloody and bruised, give it their all to to get the victory, but once it seems like Triple H will beat him, Randy Orton decks HHH from behind. Leaving him shocked and out of it. Flair and Batista are also both shocked by this sudden turn of events, and this distraction leads to Monty getting the victory in the third fall, winning the match.
World Heavyweight Championship: Scott Steiner (c) def. Shawn Michaels
Our main event puts a closing chapter on the Steiner/HBK/HHH connection as Steiner and Michaels give it their all, and without any kind of interruption or outside interference, Steiner is able to beat Shawn and keep the Big Gold around his waist, but before he can celebrate, Steiner is met with Randy Orton, who earlier broke out of the grasp of The Renegades, and stares him down, ending the show as the young "Legend Killer" is willing to put down "Big Poppa Pump" and become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in wrestling history.
