WCW President Eric Bischoff was on hand with Steve McMichael, Sting, Randy Savage & WCW Champion Hulk Hogan as they announced that they would be hosting Monday Nitro on September 4 to compete against WWF's own Monday Night RAW!. The Monday Night Wars have surely begun! And Business has just picked up for the WWF!. |

 MABEL INJURES UNDERTAKER
August 14. 1995
During The Undertaker's one on one match with Lex Luger. The Million Dollar Corporation of Mabel, Kama & Sycho Sid all interfered to attack Undertaker. Undertaker valiantly tried to fight all of them off, but the numbers were too much. Sid chokeslammed Undertaker and powerbombed him to the mat giving Mabel enough time to hit leg drop after leg drop and splash and then using the urn chain to hit Undertaker in the face with it busting The Phenom open. Undertaker tried desperately to sit up after the attack, but his face was so severely beaten that he couldn't get up all the way. Officials and refs covered Undertaker's face as he barely got to his feet leaving The Undertaker's Summerslam Match in question, but Paul Bearer has stated that The Undertaker will come back at Summerslam to get his revenge on Mabel and others associated.

 LEX LUGER WALKS OUT OF THE WWF BEFORE SUMMERSLAM
August 26. 1995
In a shocking turn of events, Former World Wrestling Federation Champion & Million Dollar Corporation Member, Lex Luger has suddenly walked out of the company. Reports said that after Luger won the Third Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 11. Luger stated that he was unhappy with the WWF. He had been unhappy with the way he lost the WWF Title just two months after regaining it at the Royal Rumble 1994 and then losing it to Bret Hart at WrestleMania X. WWF Officials have said that Luger joining the Million Dollar Corporation sort of improved his morale, but he wasn't placed in a big time match at WrestleMania 11, instead he was used in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and won the match, but he was reportedly not happy. McMahon and others desperately wanted to give Luger another title reign late in the Summer of 1995. But Luger blatantly turned it down and when he was found out he didn't have a match at Summerslam. He simply packed his bags after a match at a Live Event against Shawn Michaels in which he lost on August 24 and walked out. There are reports stating that Luger is trying to talk to Eric Bischoff to bring him back to WCW and that may happen seeing as Nitro will be coming up on September 4, 1995 to compete with WWF RAW!. WWF wish Luger well in the best of his future endeavors. |

 In her PPV Debut Match. Bertha Faye manhandled Alundra Blayze. Alundra fought hard, but Bertha was able to get the win and become the WWF Women's Champion.
 The WWF provided the first ever Hogpen Match with Henry Godwinn taking on Chris Candido, the match was won by Henry Godwinn.
 After being attacked 2 weeks ago before Summerslam. The Undertaker returned in a new form wearing a White Mask to get his revenge on Mabel.

 The match was titled "Battle of the Powerbombs" and this was a battle to say the least.

 Three years ago. The British Bulldog & Bret Hart faced off for the Intercontinental Title, but this time they faced off at Summerslam once more.
 The match was back and forth, but then a ref bump occurred. And that allowed interference by the Unabomber to help The British Bulldog get the win.
 The main event featured 1995 King of The Ring Winner Shawn Michaels taking on the WWF Champion Razor Ramon in a ladder match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
 Just like the first Ladder Match, the two went back & forth in this contest.
 Michaels tried the signature splash off the ladder he tried to use at WrestleMania 10 but Razor dodged out of the way.
 Razor almost pulled through in this match as well.
 Both men exhausted tried desperately to get at the prize.
 Razor attempted one last ditch effort to get at his championship, but HBK would somehow intercept Razor at the end and it seemed to be a close finish as it was. But HBK would hit the Sweet Chin Music on Razor taking Razor down. Michaels then grabbed the belt and unhooked it and fell to the floor.

And winning the 1995 King of The Ring. The Heartbreak Kid's reign as WWF Champion finally came true.

WCW Nitro debuted with a bang and dynamite, The first match of the show featured Sting taking on Ric Flair and before the match started. Lex Luger came out as Bischoff screamed "what in the hell is he doing here?". Luger who had walked out of the WWF 11 Days ago came to World Championship Wrestling. Also, during the show as Hulk Hogan successfully defended the WCW Title against Vader. Lex Luger came out and challenged Hogan to a title match next week with Hogan accepting. |

 RAW AND NITRO FACE OFF FOR THE FIRST TIME
September 11. 1995
For the first time in Monday Night Wars History. RAW & Nitro faced off, Nitro had a big time main event with Lex Luger facing Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship, while RAW's Main Event featured Shawn Michaels defending the WWF Title against the 568-pound former Champion Yokozuna. Michaels retained the WWF Title against Yokozuna, and although RAW had stellar matches. They couldn't top Nitro's ratings as Nitro beat them in the Ratings War. |

 VADER LEAVES WCW
September 14. 1995
Former WCW Champion Vader has seemingly left World Championship Wrestling, it seems like Vader was not happy with his creative direction, on the September 11 edition of Nitro. Vader decided that it was best that he & WCW part ways so he would be taken out in a "kayfabe" backstage attack by The Giant as he was set to team up with Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage & Sting for WarGames. Vader could potentially be signing with the World Wrestling Federation soon enough. |

 WWF IN YOUR HOUSE - September 24, 1995 - Joe Louis Arena - Detroit, MI (Note, yes in Real Life, Diesel was the WWF Champion and Shawn Michaels was the Intercontinental Champion, but in my rebooking. Shawn Michaels is the WWF Champion, however they will still team up to take on Owen Hart & Yokozuna for the Tag Team Titles. Owen's baby is born early on September 21, 1995 and he will be in the match).

 MICHAELS BEATEN UP IN BAR, WILL BE FORCED TO RELIQUINISH THE WWF TITLE TO SYCHO SID. BATTLE ROYAL WINNER FACES SYCHO SID AT IYH 4 FOR THE WWF CHAMPIONSHIP!
October 16. 1995
At A Nightclub. World Wrestling Federation Champion Shawn Michaels, 30 was attacked by 10 Marines on October 13, 1995. Michaels was flanked by Davey Boy Smith (his opponent who faced him in Binghamton, NY) for the World Wrestling Federation Title at a Live Event and The 123 Kid all decided to go to their motel room an hour and ten minutes in Syracuse, NY before going out on the town. Michaels's friends Kevin Nash known as Diesel, Scott Hall known as Razor Ramon and Paul Levesque known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley were on a European Tour while Michaels and The Kid stayed in the States. The wrestlers arrived just about an hour before the 2 A.M. Curfew began and began to drink, according to others, Michaels had flirted with a woman. But before things could turn violent. The Wrestlers were thrown out of the club. Michaels was placed into the passenger seat of a Pontiac Sunbird. The Marines then attacked Michaels while The Kid & Davey Boy were held at bay. The Police Report has stated that Michaels had his face severely stomped on and shoved into the bumper. Shawn suffered a laceration on the right eyelid, two black eyes and blood coming out of his ears. The attack was nearly fatal. The Kid was passed out and Davey Boy was stuck in the back seat. Davey Boy was able to get out of his back seat car and got himself involved in the brawl but not before getting himself injured as well. WWF officials are not happy with the way that went down, Douglas Griffith, 23 has been questioned by police, but will not face arrest or face any charges. Shawn Michaels is lucky to have survived an ordeal where it nearly could've been the end of his Main Event Push. Michaels is expected to be out for a month, and because of the injuries. Michaels will not face Sycho Sid for the World Wrestling Federation Championship as planned. Unfortunately, Michaels will be on hand at In Your House to relinquish the WWF Championship to Sycho Sid. However, just because Sycho Sid will be the new WWF Champion does not mean that there will not be a WWF Championship Match. There will be a WWF Championship Match and there will be one on Sunday, October 22 when a Battle Royal will be held in where the winner will face Sycho Sid for the World Wrestling Federation Championship. Michaels is expected to be out for a month, and after. He may be expected to have another title reign as well. So prayers go out to Shawn Michaels & his family. |
