WWF Championship 5 on 5 Survivor Series Elimination Match: Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Owen Hart & Kane D. The Undertaker, Jeff Jarrett, Mankind, Big Bossman & Ken Shamrock. (Hogan was the sole survivor, but he turned heel on The Rock allowing Mankind to eliminate The Rock until it was down to Hogan & Mankind with Hogan winning the WWF Title and rejoining the Corporation)
 To kick off the Survivor Series, the Brood consisting of Edge, Christian & Gangrel survived the first match of the night as they teamed up with D-Lo Brown & Darren Drozdov defeating the team of Godfather, Val Venis, Vader & The Legion of Doom.

![Shane McMahon screws Steve Austin- Survivor Series 1998 on Make a GIF]() Shane McMahon who was the special guest referee for the main event pulled the biggest swerve ever by screwing over Stone Cold Steve Austin with Shane refusing to count the 3 for Austin as Mankind solely fought 2 on 1 against Austin & The Rock but minus Hogan still in the match despite being injured by Shamrock.
 And then something controversial happened. Hogan grabbed The Rock and hit his own signature manuever on The Rock by hitting the Rock Bottom as The Rock was closing in on victory for his team and assumingly the WWF Championship allowing Mankind to pin The Rock.
 But also Mankind was double crossed as well when Hulk Hogan surprised Mankind by locking in the sharpshooter with Vince McMahon calling for the bell, The McMahons & Hogan were in a plot to screw Stone Cold Steve Austin once again. Hulk Hogan had now become the 7-time WWF Champion in a shocking Survivor Series Moment.

 THE BIRTH OF THE CORPORATION
November 16. 1998
The night after the Survivor Series. Vince McMahon announced a new faction called The Corporation and in this group was Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, The Big Bossman, Ken Shamrock & the new World Wrestling Federation Champion Hulk Hogan. Hogan came out and said that he souled out twice and that he used Stone Cold Steve Austin so he could become the WWF Champion again. Stone Cold came out and said that he had a contract from Vince's wife Linda which gave him a title match against Hogan later on that night.

 RIC FLAIR REVEALED AS WWF COMMISSIONER
November 23. 1998
The wife of Vince McMahon. Linda McMahon made her first WWF Appearance on RAW as the Corporation was in the ring celebrating their accomplishments. Linda announced that while The Corporation may have control. The Corporation won't have any control on the new WWF Commissioner because Vince McMahon will not fire this commissioner unless he steps down or quits. Linda announced that the new WWF Commissioner was The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Flair stood on the entryway and said that as Linda McMahon said. The Corporation may have the power, but he has got all the power that means he can make any match he wants and that means he can make Vince McMahon and The Corporation's lives a living hell. Flair announced that Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker would face off one on one at Rock Bottom in a Buried Alive Match and Hollywood Hulk Hogan will defend the WWF Championship against Mankind as well. |

 UNDERTAKER & THE ACOLYTES TRY TO EMBALM AUSTIN ALIVE!
November 23. 1998
Stone Cold Steve Austin had passed out after he had won a match in San Jose, CA. He was kept at the hospital for further evaluation, but then he was attacked by The Undertaker who tried to put him in a graveyard but decided to embalm Austin alive. The Undertaker & The Acolytes took Austin to the embalming room and tried to embalm Austin Alive until he was saved by Kane!. |

 SHAWN MICHAELS RETURNS TO COST X-PAC THE WWF CHAMPIONSHIP AND JOINS THE CORPORATION!
November 23. 1998
During the WWF Championship Match between Hollywood Hulk Hogan and X-Pac. X-Pac was attacked by The Big Bossman & Ken Shamrock until Shawn Michaels came through the crowd, his first appearance since WrestleMania 14. Michaels then hit X-Pac with Sweet Chin Music and that allowed Hogan to retain the title over X-Pac. After the match. Triple H came out and demanded an explanation but as he tried to talk to Shawn. Bossman. Shamrock & Hogan tried to attack Triple H. But he somehow fought them off until Michaels hit him with Sweet Chin Music pledging his allegiance to the Corporation!. |

 BIG BOSSMAN WINS THE HARDCORE TITLE OVER MANKIND
November 30. 1998
With help from Hollywood Hulk Hogan. The Big Bossman captured the WWF Hardcore Championship over Mankind in where Mankind had to defend the title in a hardcore Open Invational Match against some WWF Superstars by order of Vince McMahon. Mankind made it through Marc Mero, Tiger Ali Singh, Bob Holly, Steve Blackman, Kurrgan, Goldust, The Headbangers & Too Much, but he would be attacked by Test of all people and that forced Test to join the Corporation allowing The Big Bossman to take advantage of the 24/7 Rule and winning the Hardcore Title!. |

 SHAWN MICHAELS ADDRESSES HIS ACTIONS
November 30. 1998
During the show. Shawn Michaels & The Corporation all came out with Shawn Michaels saying that after WrestleMania 14. Triple H started to run things as the leader, but newsflash while he was still out. He was still injured and it made him sick that Triple H ran around and took full control of everything. Triple H came out and told Shawn that he was supposed to be his best friend and not join the Corporation. But the thing is at WrestleMania 14. He dropped the ball and the ball became his court so Shawn has to live with it. Unless Triple H wants to beat some sense into Shawn Michaels right now. Michaels said that he didn't have his wrestling gear, but if he and Triple H wanted to fight, then it would have to be sooner on HBK's terms. Then, Triple H was brutally attacked by the Corporation until DX & Mankind made the save. |

 UNDERTAKER SACRIFICES STONE COLD AFTER STONE COLD & KANE TEAM UP AGAINST THE ACOLYTES!
December 7. 1998
Before Rock Bottom. As Stone Cold & Kane picked up a tag team win over the Acolytes. The Undertaker came down to attack Stone Cold Steve Austin while The Acolytes were dealing with Kane. Undertaker smothered Austin with chloroform and then carried him to the entrance area in where a cross was placed in the entryway. The Druids tied Austin up and crucified him and lowered him onto the stage with The Undertaker watching. |

Buried Alive Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin D. The Undertaker
 The newest member of the Ministry of Darkness, Christopher Daniels defeated Christian to win the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship just a week after joining the Ministry of Darkness on December 6, 1998.
 Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett continued their rivalry with Owen Hart defeating Jeff Jarrett in his hometown.
 The newest member of the Corporation, Test defeated X-Pac to win the WWF European Championship with interference from Shawn Michaels.

 After being robbed out of the WWF Championship at Survivor Series. The Rock took his aggression out on the new WWF Hardcore Champion The Big Bossman in a Hardcore Non-Title Match with The Rock getting the win, despite many interference from people trying to get at The Big Bossman's Hardcore Title, but The Rock laid the SMACKDOWN on all of them with Rock Bottoms & People's Elbows.
 Hulk Hogan once again walked out of Rock Bottom still the World Wrestling Federation Champion defeating Mankind with the McMahon's once again screwing over Mankind.
 The Main Event featured a match of survival between two of the greatest WWF Main Eventers in history. The Undertaker & Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Undertaker wanted to bury Austin alive for beating him for the WWF Championship in October. Austin wanted to bury The Undertaker alive so he can be a part of the 1999 Royal Rumble!.
 Both men didn't care who would end up in that grave, one of them were fighting for their life.
 A Stone Cold Stunner would eventually put The Undertaker down and into the gravesite. Austin considered burying The Undertaker alive but then started to walk backstage.

 Kane came out from the grave and attacked The Undertaker, after a brief brawl between these two monsters. The Undertaker attempted to scoop Kane up for a Tombstone Piledriver putting him back to the grave where he belonged. But Undertaker saw something and that distraction allowed Kane to hit the tombstone on The Undertaker!.
 Austin returned with a backhoe in tow and the backhoe did it's job to bury The Undertaker alive.
 And to add insult to injury. Austin poured beer on The Undertaker's grave. Austin had earned the right to enter the 1999 Royal Rumble and his quest to get back at the WWF Championship for the fourth time.

On Monday Night RAW in Tacoma, Washington. Owen Hart & Ken Shamrock faced off for the Intercontinental Championship with Owen Hart capturing the Intercontinental Title. |
