 Jeff Jarrett helped his former ally Owen Hart win the Intercontinental Championship against Val Venis for the fourth time.
 The Acolytes won back the WWF Tag Team Titles for the second time in a Fatal-4 Way Match over Kane & X-Pac. Mankind & Ken Shamrock & The Hardy Boys
 In a big shock. Triple H shockingly defeated former WWF Champion Hulk Hogan cleanly. but after the match, he wasn't satisfied similar to what he did to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 15. He did the same thing to Hogan but this time he held a steel chair to his leg and hit his leg with a sledgehammer with the chair to his leg.
 The Rock faced off against The Undertaker & Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship, but before that match started, Stone Cold Steve Austin was knocked out backstage forcing The Undertaker & The Rock to face off in a one on one match.
 This was The Rock's toughest challenge ever as he took on the Man From The Darkside for the title. The Rock was able to hit the people's elbow on The Undertaker who tried to sit up.

 The Corporate Ministry then interfered as the referee was down, they attacked The Rock. But then Stone Cold still bruised and battered from the backstage attack came out and attacked the rest of the Corporate Ministry. But then the lights went back out and when they came back on. Austin was knocked out outside, but this time it was an unknown assiliant who was dressed up in a hooded cloak, this must have been the higher power.
 And that was all The Undertaker needed to win his fourth World Wrestling Federation Championship over The Rock!.

 JAKE ROBERTS REVEALED AS THE HIGHER POWER
May 24. 1999
The Undertaker promised that The Higher Power would be here to reveal himself. He revealed himself to be his former ally Jake Roberts. But why Jake Why?. 2 reasons. He hates Austin and he hates McMahon. He hates Austin because 3 years ago he stole his damn catchphrase. Austin 3:16. He made him out to be a damn old fool, he whooped his ass and he's never forgiven Austin. He hates McMahon because McMahon never gave him any Championships in the 1980s and the 1990s because McMahon looked at him as a B-Plus Player at best. And he was in the darkest place of his possible life, he made him put a snake on Randy Savage's shoulder, he mocked his illness and he's never forgiven either men. He can't forgive Stone Cold & Vince McMahon cause god would tell him to forgive both of them. So he made himself God. In 1991. He was able to help The Undertaker because he was the higher power for him when he defeated The Ultimate Warrior for the WWF Championship. And once again, he became the higher power for him in 1999 to get him back to the top and that's why he created all of this chaos. He's robbed Austin the WWF Championship and now the Corporate Ministry are going to take everything they've already taken. They've already got the Tag Team Titles. The Light Heavyweight Championship. The European Championship. The WWF Championship, they've taken out Shawn Michaels & Hulk Hogan. and they are going to take out everyone in the World Wrestling Federation!. |

 Triple H advanced to the 1999 King of The Ring defeating Steve Blackman to qualify, he defeated Road Dogg in the Quarterfinals and X-Pac in the semifinals.
 But despite losing the WWF Championship at Over The Edge. The Rock got himself a second chance to advance to the King of The Ring by defeating Darren Drozdov to advance, He defeated Jeff Jarrett in the Quarterfinals and Billy Gunn in the semifinals setting up the 1998 King of The Ring rematch between Triple H & The Rock.

 Three of the toughest combatants, Big Show, Kane & The Undertaker faced off for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.
 Big Men were slapping the meats in that match as all 3 of them wanted desperately to be the champion.

 Both Monsters exchanged chokeholds with one another, but it would be Kane that got the advantage and planted the 500 pound with a big chokeslam.
 But The Undertaker was slowly able to survive and retain the WWF Championship by pinning Kane.
 And just like last year, the two faced off to see who would win the 1999 King of The Ring. Would it be Deja Vu for The Rock? or Would Triple H avenge his loss.
 It was a back and forth contest between the two with The Rock looking to repeat history.
 But with interference from Chyna. Triple H beat The Rock to become the 1999 King of The Ring!.
 The Game captured the King of The Ring!.
 Stone Cold Steve Austin & Jake Roberts faced off in the main event in the Snake Pit Match with Roberts looking for revenge for his humiliating defeat in the 1996 King of The Ring against Austin and Austin looking for revenge for Roberts costing him the WWF Championship.
 In the middle of the match. Roberts was begging for forgiveness but he suckered Austin in and hit the DDT but Austin shockingly kicked out. Roberts then went for the ribs of Austin similar to what Austin did to Roberts with Roberts beating Austin sadistically down with chair shots.

Shane McMahon then came out to try to attack Vince, Roberts then almost tried to hit Vince with a chair but Vince rolled out of the way and Roberts inadverently hit Shane in the face with it. Roberts then beat up on Vince and hit him with the DDT!.

 JAKE ROBERTS DEFEATS RIC FLAIR TO BECOME THE NEW WWF COMMISSIONER
June 28. 1999
The night after Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated him at King of The Ring. Roberts said that Austin may have gotten lucky at the King of The Ring, but his plan for taking over was about to continue but before they can hatch that plan. They must say a prayer for Shane McMahon who was accidentally hit with a chair. Ric Flair's music then hit as he came to the ring. Flair called out Roberts for a match although he was commissioner. Roberts said that he accepted the match because Flair has done a hell of a bad job as Commissioner and he should replace him. In the middle of the match between Flair & Roberts. The referee was distracted by Paul Bearer and that allowed The Undertaker to enter the ring and tombstone The Nature Boy allowing Roberts to pick up the victory. Jake Roberts is now the new WWF Commissioner!. The WWF may never be the same again. |

In an unlikely tag team. The Rock & Mankind captured the WWF Tag Team Championship over the Acolytes as Mankind asked The Rock to be his Tag Team Partner with The Rock not needing a partner to face The Acolytes. The Rock accepted and the duo defeated The Acolytes to win the WWF Tag Team Titles. |

 THE MINISTRY AND THE CORPORATION IMPLODE
July 12. 1999
It seems like The Corporate Ministry is no more. Stephanie McMahon blamed Jake Roberts & The Ministry for Shane's accidental chair shot and his concussion he suffered after King of The Ring. Stephanie announced that Jake Roberts had brainwashed Shane McMahon simply so that The Undertaker destroyed him at WrestleMania 15. That sent a riff between The Corporation and the Ministry. Triple H spoke in The Corporation's defense saying that it was The Undertaker's fault that Jake Roberts was brought in the first place. None of these problems would've happened at all. Then suddenly Roberts got in The Game's face and that allowed Chyna to slap Roberts in the face and both the Ministry and the Corporation went at it with each other. The Undertaker then grabbed a microphone and declared that from this moment on by orders of Jake Roberts, he's banning Triple H. Big Bossman, Chyna & The Mean Street Posse all from the Corporate Ministry and that he doesn't need the Ministry's help to beat Stone Cold Steve Austin at Fully Loaded. Because if Austin wanted the Title back so badly then he would have to do it in a Hell in A Cell Match. Roberts decreed the stipulation that if Austin lost the match. He would never again get a title shot as long as Roberts is commissioner.
Then suddenly Vince McMahon came out and said that the only person that makes decisions is him because he's the owner of the WWF. But did agree with Roberts, that if Austin did lose. Not only would Austin ever receive a title match, but Vince McMahon would no longer be the owner of the World Wrestling Federation, he would give complete ownership to Jake Roberts, but if The Undertaker lost. The Ministry would have to disband and Roberts would no longer be the WWF Commissioner!. |

 TRIPLE H'S INFAMOUS PROMO
July 22. 1999
On SMACKDOWN. Triple H cut a major promo talking about how at Summerslam no matter if The Undertaker or Stone Cold Steve Austin walked out of Fully Loaded with the World Wrestling Federation Championship. He was going to take the WWF Championship at Summerslam. He said that he didn't need to be in DX or the Clique anymore. It's about him. It's about him getting what he wants and what he's going to get. Because it goes back to 3 years ago when he said goodbye to his friends Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Shawn Michaels and that it burnt a hole in his ****ing stomach and that he was punished for the entire incident in Madison Square Garden and he was taken down the card. Ross told Triple H to watch his language. But Triple H said he was going to shoot with this promo. Triple H said that nobody in the office had the balls to do with what they did to anyone else, they did it to him because he was the easy one and that he would take it. He'll rise to the occasion, they'll come through. They'll punish him. But it makes him sick in his stomach, Everytime he looks at them. It makes him sick the way they held him back and that they wanted to talk about being students of the game, well he is the ****ing Game, there is nobody that eats, sleeps or breathes this business more than him. And it's his time to prove that to the world, Summerslam is his time to become the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Ross said that Summerslam is not only about him, it's about Jesse Ventura. Triple H said that the hell with Jesse Ventura, The Rock, Stone Cold, The Undertaker, Kane, X-Pac & Road Dogg, he could care less about all of them. It's about what he wants at Summerslam becoming the World Wrestling Federation Champion cause like he just said he is the game and he is that Damn Good!. |

Hell In A Cell Match for the WWF Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin D. The Undertaker to regain the WWF Championship
 Edge gained his first singles championship at Fully Loaded by winning the Intercontinental Title over Owen Hart despite interference from Jeff Jarrett.
 Droz captured the WWF European Championship against The Godfather.
 The Big Bossman took his Hardcore Championship back by defeating Steve Blackman and winning it for the third straight time.
 In their first Tag Team Title Defense, the odd duo of The Rock & Mankind were able to retain the titles against the men they defeated to win those belts at Fully Loaded. The Hell In A Cell Match hovered over the Buffalo, NY Arena when Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Undertaker had their last encounter inside Hell in A Cell for the WWF Championship.
 It was bloody and brutal for both The Undertaker and Stone Cold. Late in the match though, Shane McMahon came out with bolt cutters ripping up the cell door and many assumed that he was going to help Undertaker against Stone Cold. But as Taker went for the finish. Shane hit a low blow on The Undertaker and then nailed him with a chair shot knocking him out. Jake Roberts came in and tried reasoning with Shane McMahon but in similar Vince McMahon fashion. Shane punched him in the face. Then Undertaker stirred to his feet and chokeslammed Shane to the mat.
Late in the match though as The Undertaker attempted to hit Stone Cold with a Tombstone Piledriver. Stone Cold got a TV Monitor out and hit Undertaker in the face with it and then nailed him with the Stone Cold Stunner to get the win and regain the WWF Title for the fourth time.
 Stone Cold survived through hell and won his fourth WWF Championship over The Undertaker inside Hell in A Cell, and not only would the Ministry disband. Then Jake Roberts would be ousted as WWF Commissioner!. |

After losing the WWF Championship. The Ex members of the Ministry all came out except for The Acolytes came down with Jake Roberts badmouthing The Undertaker. The Undertaker told Roberts that from now on he won't have to answer to Roberts anymore. He won't have to answer to the Darkside anymore, from now on he's going to answer to himself and there's not a damn thing that Jake Roberts can do about it. Roberts then asked Viscera, Mideon & Christopher Daniels to attack The Undertaker. Undertaker was able to fight both Viscera, Mideon & Daniels and before he could get his hands on Roberts. Roberts then sprayed mace in The Undertaker's face causing a 4 on 1 beatdown on The Man From The Darkside. Roberts then busted Undertaker open with a steel chair and then nailed him with the DDT.
 And once again, the Nature Boy Ric Flair was named WWF Commissioner. His first act of business was to announce that Jesse Ventura was going to be the guest referee for the WWF Championship Match at Summerslam between Triple H & Stone Cold Steve Austin. |
