 STEPHANIE MCMAHON APPEARS ON RAW TO ISSUE A TAG TEAM NO HOLDS BARRED CHALLENGE TO ERIC BISCHOFF AT UNFORGIVEN

During the RAW Show. Eric Bischoff announced that officially Rico was now a member of the RAW Brand. Just as Bischoff was bragging about what happened on SMACKDOWN. Vince McMahon came out on the rampway but he was not alone, this time he brought Stephanie with him. Vince said that what happened on SMACKDOWN was the first shot of the civil war between RAW vs SMACKDOWN. Stephanie grabbed the microphone and announced that her boys Billy & Chuck would take on Eric Bischoff's henchmen Jamal & Rosey at Unforgiven in a No Holds Barred Tag Team Match with Bischoff quickly accepting. |

 Later on in the show. Kane planted a big wet kiss on Terri after Terri had interviewed Kane & The Hurricane.
 In possibly John Cena's best performance against Eddie Guerrero. He failed to win the United States Championship in one of his best rookie matchups ever against Eddie Guerrero.
 Note: This is not a 2002 pic of the Steiner Brothers, it's a 90's pic. But anyway, The Steiner Brothers captured the RAW Tag Team Championship by ending Kevin Nash & Scott Hall's almost 1 year reign as RAW Tag Team Champions.
 Rob Van Dam may have been successful in beating Triple H at Unforgiven, but a beatdown by the nWo and Triple H had Ric Flair show up to try to make the save for RVD but instead he made it much worse as Flair hit RVD in the back with a sledgehammer and thus Flair would join the nWo. Although losing the Tag Team Titles, the nWo made sure they would have a new leader in their pack. Then eventually Bubba, Spike & D-Von would eventually make the save for RVD but they too were beaten down as well as the nWo celebrated over RVD & The Dudleys's bodies.
 The main event would prove to be Brock Lesnar's toughest test as he battled the 12 year veteran. The Undertaker for the WWE Championship.
 Taker and Lesnar had a brutal back and forth WWE Championship confrontation with both men seemingly trying to get the victory over one another.
 But this match was simply personal, as Brock Lesnar put his hand on The Undertaker's unborn child's wife Sara and said "life's a bitch" after a vicious attack weeks ago. The Undertaker brought in a steel chair after failing to win the match by hitting a chokeslam and a last ride, all of it could not keep Brock down. Undertaker busted the WWE Champion open with a vicious steel chair shot causing him to get disqualified.
 The Phenom would then continue his onslaught as he tossed Brock through the Unforgiven Stage Wall as Unforgiven went off the air. |

 THE UNLIKELY DUO OF KURT ANGLE & CHRIS BENOIT WIN THE SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
September 26. 2002
In the show's main event of SMACKDOWN. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit won the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Championship after winning the #1 Contenders Match against Edge & Rey Mysterio, 4 days later. They challenged Kane & The Hurricane for the Tag Team Titles. Hurrikane seemed like they had the match in control until Matt Hardy came out and hit Hurricane with a twist of fate on the Outside, but as the referee was distracted by Matt Hardy & The Hurricane. Kane hit a Chokeslam on Benoit and as he went for the cover. Test then came out and hit him in the head with a steel chair and nailed him with a big boot after he attacked Lance Storm earlier on in the show with Test grabbing a microphone and saying that everything was all about him. Benoit then hit a flying headbutt off the top rope and pinned Kane to win the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Championship.

 ERIC BISCHOFF INTRODUCES RAW ROULETTE
October 7. 2002In RAW's history. RAW Roulette was used for the first time, the first match of the RAW Roulette kicked off with a Steel Cage Tag Team Match for the Tag Team Titles between Nash & Hall vs The Steiner Brothers in a rematch with The Steiners retaining the Titles, some of the matches were blindfold matches and even Street Fight Matches and Bra and Panties Matches as well. The main event was a TLC Fatal Five Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Rob Van Dam, Christian, Chris Jericho, Bubba Ray Dudley & Jeff Hardy. But the match ended with RVD retaining the World Heavyweight Championship, shortly after the match. Triple H, Ric Flair & the nWo attacked RVD until Van Dam was saved by Bubba, D-Von & Spike. Bischoff came out to the stage and announced that at No Mercy, if the nWo & ECW wanted to collide then they would do so in an Extreme Rules Match at No Mercy!. |

WWE Championship Hell in A Cell Match: Brock Lesnar D. The Undertaker to retain the WWE Championship
 No Mercy kicked off with a new WWE Intercontinental Champion as Booker T defeated Chris Jericho to regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
 The SMACKDOWN Feud between Kane & Test has suddenly been red hot. But their match at No Mercy proved to be a hoss fight. Test brought in the chair to hit Kane in the back with it but as he went for the head. Kane dropkicked the chair right in his face causing the two to brawl out of the ring with Kane winning the contest by DQ.
 Matt Hardy & The Hurricane faced off with the Cruiserweight Title on the line as The Hurricane wanted revenge for what happened a few days ago after Unforgiven when he alongside Test cost Kane & The Hurricane the WWE Tag Team Championship.
 Both of these two pulled out all the stops but it was Matt Hardy that gained the Cruiserweight Title over The Hurricane.
 During John Cena's match with Billy Kidman. John Cena suddenly had a new attitude by dressing up in a rap gimmick with Cena defeating Billy Kidman cementing his "heel turn".
 Warfare happened as ECW took on the nWo with Rob Van Dam & The Dudley Boys taking on Triple H & the nWo!.
 ECW was closing in on victory but a sledgehammer shot by Triple H allowed the nWo and Triple H to win the Street Fight Extreme Rules Match.
 Brock and The Undertaker's rivalry took to new heights as they faced off for the WWE Championship inside Hell in A Cell!
 The two had a bloody back and forth encounter with Brock & Undertaker wanting to take the other down.
 Brock focused on the injured hand of The Undertaker by smacking it a few times with a steel chair with a leather belt attached to The Undertaker's wrist. The same wrist Brock injured on October 5, 2002.
 Brock would not stop dominating The Undertaker but everytime Brock would throw everything at him. The Undertaker would rise up and come back.
 Taker and Brock took their fight out of the cell with both men breaking the cell wall and it eventually culminated outside with Undertaker hitting a chokeslam on the WWE Champion through the Spanish Announce Table!
 The two then returned to the ring with Undertaker striking the Champion with a vicious last ride. Taker then went for the cover but Lesnar kicked out at 2.
 Taker attempted to hit a tombstone on the Champion, but Brock grabbed Undertaker and dropped him with the F5 to get the shocking victory.
 And there was the WWE Champion standing tall inside the Hell in A Cell!. Could anyone stop the Next Big Thing?!.
 Undertaker stirred to his feet and nodded to the WWE Champion who was standing untop of the cell as No Mercy went off the air.

 UNDERTAKER INJURED BY BIG SHOW & TEST
October 24. 2002
After The Undertaker came out to show respect to the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker picked up the microphone and was about to announce his retirement, but then Test showed up to badmouth The Undertaker with Undertaker and Test getting into a brawl with Taker despite having a broken hand had the upper hand, the brawl continued on the outside. But then as Undertaker was going to chokeslam Test. The Big Show surprisingly showed up to take Test's side. Show & Test double teamed Undertaker, Test was seemingly sending a message to The Undertaker's brother. As Show & Test teamed up on Undertaker. Kane came out to try to make the save but he was outnumbered by Show & Test. The beatdown commenced with Show & Test double chokeslamming Undertaker off the stage. Despite this, Undertaker refused to be stretchered out as Edge, Rey Mysterio, Stephanie McMahon & Kane tried to reason with him. |

 2 BIG RETURNS & A BIG 5v5 MATCH FOR SURVIVOR SERIES
October 28. 2002
During a Non-Title battle between Rob Van Dam & Triple H. Triple H won the match with help from the nWo. Then as the nWo started to commence their beatdown. Jeff Hardy & WWE Intercontinental Champion Booker T came out to help, but they were attacked, then suddenly Sting's music hit and for the first time since May. Sting made his return and pointed at the new nWo with his Baseball Bat and then suddenly from out of nowhere, another return occurred in the form of Shawn Michaels who hadn't been seen since Summerslam. Michaels attacked the nWo and was able to get his hands on Triple H by hitting Sweet Chin Music on him. Bischoff announced that at Survivor Series, it would be the entire nWo taking on Jeff Hardy, The WWE Intercontinental Champion Booker T, World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam, The Icon Sting & The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels.

 KURT ANGLE & CHRIS BENOIT CO-WIN A BATTLE ROYAL TO FACE BROCK LESNAR FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP AT SURVIVOR SERIES!
October 31. 2002
On an edition of SMACKDOWN. Stephanie McMahon announced that the next #1 Contender would be decided in a Battle Royal in which the winner would face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. There were 22 competitors in the form of Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Edge, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Test, Kane, Matt Hardy, The Hurricane, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, Billy Kidman, John Cena, The Los Guerreros, Rikishi, Viscera, Billy Gunn, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stamboli, Jamie Noble & Tajiri. During the match though, Kane eliminated Test & The Big Show & himself to try to get revenge for what happened for what Test & The Big Show had done to The Undertaker. Later in the match, the final 6 was The Los Guerreros, Edge & Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Angle had eliminated Edge & Mysterio while Benoit eliminated The Guerreros, and the final 2 was Angle & Benoit. Both men fought it out for five minutes with Angle clotheslining Benoit and himself over the top rope to the floor. Both men returned to the ring with referees arguing and so was Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Stephanie McMahon came out and said that Brock Lesnar would be defending the WWE Championship at Survivor Series against both Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Brock came out and laid out both men by hitting an F5. |
