KEVIN NASH RETURNS TO CONFRONT TRIPLE H April 7. 2003
On an episode of Monday Night RAW. Kevin Nash made his return to call out the former World Heavyweight Champion Triple H for the nWo breaking up last January and Triple H replacing it with Evolution. Triple H said that he saw the nWo as a ticking time bomb that was dead and so he replaced it with Evolution, The Game said that the nWo died long after the Invasion Era ended and when Hulk Hogan turned his back on them. At first, he wanted to rebuild the nWo from the ground up. But him, Scott Hall & X-Pac both dropped the ball. Ever since he and Hall lost the Tag Team Titles at Unforgiven 2002. He wanted to restore order to the nWo and that's why he wanted to become the World Heavyweight Champion. But the nWo couldn't help him, cause Hall & X-Pac were both too drunk to show up, too high to help Triple H. And Nash was too injured to help Triple H out. So he had to take matters into his own hands, and so last January. He drove Scott Hall & X-Pac out of the WWE, But the funny thing is Nash is still here and he knows that Nash wants to go back to the old days of the KLIQ. He knows that Nash wants to reunite him, Shawn Michaels and himself to the KLIQ. But the thing is, Triple H's war with Shawn Michaels will never be over, and a part of the reasons why he wanted to make the nWo stronger was kick Shawn Michaels out of the faction and re-injure him to the point where he could never walk again, He wanted to protect Shawn from making the worst mistake of his life. But he failed at Summerslam, Survivor Series & Armageddon. But at the Royal Rumble, he didn't fail and he became the World Heavyweight Champion. But what happened, WrestleMania 19. Sting defeats him to become the Champion. Triple H said that he was going to get the World Heavyweight Championship, but he wanted just one favor. He wanted Nash to help him take back the World Heavyweight Championship. And he is offering Nash a chance to join Evolution! instead, he doesn't have to lead the Wolfpack or the nWo or the Kliq, he can be by Triple H and Ric Flair's side. As Nash went to speak. Sting's music hit as he came out telling Nash not to fall for Triple H's lies because Triple H is going to betray him once again like he did 3 months ago. The Game & Sting had back and fourth words until Ric Flair & Randy Orton came out to attack the World Heavyweight Champion only to be saved by Shawn Michaels. Michaels and Triple H attempted to go at it only for Kevin Nash to hold them both back saying that he's had enough of Michaels and Triple H fighting and that they are supposed to be best friends. Eric Bischoff then appeared on the titantron and announced that at Backlash, the WWE fans would decide whose side Kevin Nash would be on, because he is officially announcing that at Backlash, there would be a WrestleMania 19 Rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship, it would be Triple H taking on Sting with Kevin Nash as the special guest referee.

Despite interference from the New Intercontinental Champion Christian & Gillberg and the Rock Bottom & People's Elbow. Goldberg dropped The Rock with a spine tingling Jackhammer and picked up the victory. After, both men shook hands to end Backlash.
