TNA Homecoming 2019 was a night full of action, surprises and controversy. The show kicked off with the return of the Ultimate X match, where Riochet claimed the vacant X-Division title by outlasting Ethan Page, Rich Swann and Trey Miguel in a thrilling aerial display.
Next, Allie and Su Yung continued their dark alliance by defeating Jordynne Grace and Kiera Hogan, who put up a valiant fight but could not overcome the sinister duo.
The third match saw Eddie Edwards and Moose settle their grudge in a brutal Falls Count Anywhere match, where Edwards got the win with some help from his former partner Davey Richards, who made a shocking appearance to save Edwards from Moose's assault.

The action continued with Sami Callihan facing Willie Mack in a hard-hitting singles match. Callihan used his cunning and his ally Dave Crist to gain the upper hand, but Mack showed his resilience and power throughout the match. In the end, Callihan hit a vicious piledriver to pin Mack and celebrate with Crist.
The fifth match was a Tables match between Abyss and Eli Drake, who had been taunting Abyss for weeks about his legacy and his Hall of Fame induction. Abyss showed why he is the Monster of TNA by dominating Drake for most of the match, but Drake managed to avoid going through a table several times. Finally, Drake used a low blow and a chair shot to stun Abyss, then slammed him through a table with a Gravy Train to get the victory.

The next match was for the Impact World Tag Team titles, as the Lucha Brothers defended against their longtime rivals Latin American Exchange. This was a classic tag team match, with both teams showing their chemistry, skill and teamwork. The Lucha Brothers used their speed and agility to counter LAX's power and aggression, while LAX relied on their experience and cohesion to match the Lucha Brothers' offense. The match went back and forth, with near falls and double team moves galore. The end came when Fenix hit a double stomp on Ortiz, followed by Pentagon Jr. hitting a Fear Factor on Santana to win the the titles.
The penultimate match was for the Impact Knockouts title, with Tessa Blanchard defending against Taya Valkyrie. The special referee for this match was Gail Kim, who had been attacked by Blanchard in the past. Blanchard and Valkyrie had a heated rivalry, and they did not hold back in this match. They exchanged strikes, submissions and high-impact moves, trying to wear each other down. Blanchard showed her arrogance and disrespect towards Kim several times, arguing with her and shoving her. Kim tried to remain impartial, but she also did not take any of Blanchard's abuse. The match ended in controversy, when Maryse interfered on behalf of no one, and hit Kim with a spray bottle. Kim then disqualified Blanchard, giving Valkyrie the win but not the title.
The main event was for the Impact World title, as Johnny Impact defended against Brian Cage. This was a clash of styles, as Impact used his speed, agility and charisma to counter Cage's strength, power and intensity. Cage dominated most of the match, tossing Impact around like a ragdoll and hitting him with devastating moves. Impact showed his heart and determination by kicking out of everything Cage threw at him, and fighting back with his own arsenal of strikes and flips. The match reached its climax when Cage hit a Drill Claw on Impact, but before he could pin him, Mike "The Miz" Mizzanin made his shocking debut in TNA by pulling the referee out of the ring. Miz then attacked Cage with a Skull Crushing Finale on the floor, then rolled Impact on top of him. The referee recovered and counted the three, giving Impact the win and retaining his title. Miz then celebrated with Impact, revealing that they were in cahoots all along, forming an alliance called The Worldwide Inc.
