Hello Everyone, Im Sean and Im new to the forum but have been reading some of the pages as a guest and decided to join up as I wanted to share an idea ive had.

Having recently signed up to the newly renamed TNA+ partly due to always having a liking for TNA and partly due to finding the fantastic Cross the Line TNA podcast in which they are reviewing all TNA shows starting from the very beginning. I got me thinking and have decided to do my own rebooking of TNA from Day 1.

I have set myself some rules because although this is fantasy rebooking I also want to keep it realistic.

The following NWA titles will be used and the starting champions (who were the champions at the time of the first PPV.);

NWA World Heavyweight Champion - 'The Beast' Dan Severn
NWA World Tag Team Champions - The Shane Twins (Mike and Todd Shane) (w/Mortimer Plumtree)
NWA National Champion - Hotstuff Hernandez
NWA X-Division Title - Champion to be crowned.

Only wrestlers not under contract else were can be used, but i can use the for as long as i want.

I will also be using Xplosion as my syndicated show to help promote the Weekly PPV's along with further some stories and showcasing some talent.

The roster is very nice, almost like a super buffed indy from the time, and it's smart of yours to use the NWA championships and their champions who, at the time, were pretty solid (save for the Shane Twins, ok).

I'm keeping my eyes open.

7. Gauntlet for the Gold 20 Man Gauntlet Stage 2 - Ken Shamrock defeated Steve Corino (7.35)

Match Notes

- Jarrett makes his way to the ring during Toby Keith’s performance of Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue, pushing past Keith on his way. Only for Keith to jump in the ring and attack Jarrett before helping Buff eliminate him.

- Scott Hall and Malice eliminate each other and brawl to the back.

- After Norman Smiley eliminated Brian Christopher a sour Christopher reaches up and pull out Smiley and lays him out on the floor.

Show Notes

- Show begins with Mike Tenay and Don West making the announcement that over the next 2 weeks we will determine the number 1 contenders for all the 3 Major Titles in the NWA. Starting tonight with the first round of the Tag Team tournament. As well as the debut of a special 2 stage Gauntlet for the Gold match in which 20 men will fight it out in a Royal Rumble style match with the last two competitors in the ring immediately facing off in a traditional one on one match to determine the Number one contender for the NWA World champion.

- The X-Division 6 Man Tag opening contest is followed by an NWA legends presentation and announcement that the new NWA president is Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat, which is interrupted by Jeff Jarrett who says that he should have been given the first shot against NWA World Champion Dan Severn instead of going through this crap Gauntlet. Due to his interruption Steamboat makes him the number 1 entrant.

- Brian Christopher interrupts a backstage interview with Norman Smiley saying his big wiggle is nothing compared to his dance skills. The two argue before agreeing to a match on the debut edition of Xplosion.

- We hear from Father James Mitchell and the Disciples of the New Church who promise to wreak havoc on TNA starting tonight in the Gauntlet for the Gold.

- We see a video package highlighting some of the talent set to be featured in the X-Division.

- Ricky Steamboat makes huge Tag Match Main Event for week as it will be NWA World Tag Team Champions The Shane Twins (w/Mortimer Plumtree) taking on NWA National Champion Hotstuff Hernandez and NWA World Champion Dan Severn.

- We see highlights of the altercation between Brian Christopher and Norman Smiley which set up tonight’s main event.

- We see exclusive footage of the backstage brawl between Scott Hall and Malice from Wednesday along with the announcement of Scott Hall taking on Malice this coming Wednesday,

Your tag division is great, I say after the 1st Round of the tournament. You don't really need Xplosion now, but it doesn't hurt either, as your roster has some people in it. The show notes are pleasant to read as they aren't huge and sumarize the whole thing up.

Yeah, Severn vs. Shamrock had to happen, right... I'm thinking The Road Warriors get the titles one last time before dropping it to AMW, too.

The reason I've decided to do Xplosion was to mainly help sell the Wednesday PPV's as well as allowing some simple enhancement style matches so that the PPV's can for the most part stay story driven with matches that people would want to pay for. By using a mix of ex-WWF/WCW talent that the casual fan would know and new up and coming talent helps draw the causal fan in with the known while giving the up and coming talent some TV time, which they probably wouldn't have gotten working somewhere else.

Awesome! Rebooting tna from day 1 is one of things i want to do if I ever got to play tew, Besides rebooting wwf during the new generation era with Paul heyman as head booker of Monday night raw. I don't see abyss or James Mitchell on your roster though, you are gonna sign them right? Can we suggest people for you to sign or pitch ideas to you? Cause I also wanna see the mexicools in tna so can you see if super crazy is available? Has dawn marie debuted in wee yet? Can you have her manage diamond and Swinger like in ecw? Can you bring in bg James and konnan so we can get the 3 live krew in here?

Abyss didnt join TNA as Abyss from day 1. I do have plans to bring Abyss in when the time is right, as for Father James Mitchell, he should have been on my roster as hes the leader of the Disciples of the New Church,

As for everyone else you suggested theres a high chance you will some if not all of them when the time is right will debut.

Actually he was, just not under the abyss name yet. He was apartbof the first show taking part in the 20 gauntlet for the gold but under the name justice instead. Can gangrel be apart of the Disciples here?

Sense tna was basically the head of the nwa using the titles and all, do you plan on using the other territories in some way? Like nwa wildside could be your developmental territory like it was for WCW or see if shinya hashimoto's zero1 would like to do some cross promotion stuff to exchange talent? Will you invite other promotions into the nwa like scott dmore's bcw or triple a? That way when you start putting together the x cups you'll have talent from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan.

Speaking of Japanese talent can you see if Masato Tanaka, taka michinoku and Kaz Hayashi are available? If so then up could pair them all up with Jimmy Yang to form a stable like kaientai or Jung Dragons, speaking of which try to snag ultimo dragon before wwe does too? he'd be awesome for the x division. Can you also get Scott Steiner and Rey mysterio before they debut in wwe too?

I know that Abyss goes under Justice on the first show but my thought was that having both Malice and Abyss apart of the New Church at the same time would be odd as there similar rolls. I do have a plan to bring him in though.

As for your suggestions on other wrestlers to bring in I do have a few plans in place for a later date but 1 thing I don't want to do is over load too much with ex-WWE/WCW guys as it would realistically break the company financially. As for working with other promotions I down for that but want to get things going with my core roster first before doing anything like an X-Cup.
