In my NWA (Great Lakes) '93 save my roster is looking better.
The Great Muta could be my top heel!
I signed Lex Luger with the intent in making him my top babyface.
I have Nick Bockwinkel as my authority figure for the NWA-Great Lakes.
Sabu is injured but I think coming back soon. Since I only run events right now it gives time for the workers to heal.
Not sure how much longer Terry Funk will be on my roster but I hired his brother Dory too.
I decided to add another player and take over NWA-New Jersey as myself in the game.
So, NWA-New Jersey's roster size is tiny and I am not sure we have established relationships with others in the alliance.
I might have to borrow talent starting off, maybe.
The thing is, I have been building up my NWA-Great Lakes roster, so I am not sure just yet who to hire for the New Jersey region.
I might seek out local talent first, then try some names?
That is all that really happened last night. I haven't been able to really sit down and focus on the game like I have in the past.

Asaemon Thanks for the idea. I might add another player and run the NWA-New Jersey possibly. Do you know if the NWA had any differentiation to their regional territories in '93. I know it was the indies and eventually E.C.W became extreme but I was just trying to figure out what the product could be. From reading the default product description last night it seems that performers who are good storytellers would be needed. I was thinking of adding other NWA territories to the game, to add to the NWA alliance, if I can even do that. NWA Championship Wrestling America sounds less regional and more national, so that could fit. Maybe you can add NWA Dallas and bring back NWA Florida. Rasslin' or traditional would fit as products. |

NWA Championship Wrestling America I think that is a great name. I am trying to think of some original championships. In NWA-New Jersey I am thinking of having a "hardcore/extreme" championship. There is already a #1 Contender Halliburton briefcase in place. I thought that was kind of original. I thought about activating NWA: Florida and NWA: Dallas last night but I didn't know if that would mess up my database or not. I might create some more original characters to be "The Powers That Be". A group of rich and powerful men and women who hope to invest and gain a fortune in pro-wrestling (???). |

I spent some of the night just trying to hire talent to NWA: New Jersey and adjusting the product itself.
I definitely have some babyface wrestlers to work with. I do not think they might generate highly rated matches, but I have something for now.
In TEW, it just seems like there are WAY more heels than babyfaces. I haven't started trying to turn any heels to face but would like to try.
I search the attributes for "Better As Babyface" and in this 1993 mod at least, it is slim pickings.
Anyways, Dan Spivey is the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
I had women's wrestler Judy Martin on my roster, but after just a few days she is gone.
I am hoping my talent does not get signed away but my promotion is very small right now.
I did secure a TV deal for my events in the Great Lakes region. Some regional station. I scheduled it so my entire roster is available.
The events will be on Friday nights, late night. Which I think is perfect for regional indie wrestling.
I'm looking forward to jumping back into booking some larger companies though.
I guess this is what is going on in my game!

Asaemon Yes I believe Chris Candido is already on the roster. I believe The Pitbulls have not been signed yet. I remember now that I signed Al Snow last night, but I do not remember if it was NWA-Great Lakes or NWA-New Jersey. I would love to have Bigelow or DDP on any of my rosters. I am trying to sign a rookie Chris Jericho too.

I got lost in this game this weekend during downtime.
I started a WCW 1993 save. I am trying to look at it from a classic WCW perspective.
The IV Horsemen are in disarray with Flair and Double A both being on the shelf for the moment.
Rick Rude is a definite contender but is out with injury for a month plus some.
Sting is kind of my main focus right now. I want him to be the most popular pro wrestler in North America.
Big Van Vader is my World Champion with Harley Race managing him.
I have top tier onscreen talent for my announcing and color commentary positions.
I will need time to develop storylines but any input is welcome.

An episode of my Combat League Wrestling (CLW) Fight Night Live! got a 58 last night.
I didn't catch it but Danny Hodge as a Road Agent just doesn't work in this mod.
He was the agent on a couple of my matches and it brought down what I think could have been a higher rating.
Also, I threw in some angles that totally tanked with the audience.
I was livid when I saw the final grade of the show.
The episode before was rated higher and so were the matches.
It sucks when it takes a long time to book and run a show, then the grade sucks.
The upside, I guess, is that it drew over 1 million eyes to the product.
Then again I lost popularity in a lot of regions and that is what really sucks.
I am only doing singles matches at the moment. I am trying to judge my roster by who the fans would like to see.
Maybe it was being tired too but man that was a disappointment.
