Using the War Of The Immortals mod, I started a company that is in the default C-Verse, New York City Wrestling.
I did a tournament for my primary championship the Empire Championship and Big Van Vader(!) won that.
A secondary championship I have is the Tri-State Championship, which covers the Tri-State area of the Northeast.
This championship covers the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and sometimes Pennsylvania.
The Tri-State Championship started out vacant so I decided to do a tournament.
I did not want to do a Round Robin in this case because of how long they take.
I considered a Rumble style match but I wanted to see how workers do in some one-on-one matches.
There's going to be 16 workers to start with.
So I started to think how I am going to get competitors.
Right now I have 39 wrestlers on my roster. There's a lot of great names to choose from!
So I did a count from top to bottom of the wrestlers on my roster, assigning them those numbers.
Then at random, 16 from the 39 were chosen using a random number generator.
Then from that 16 I did a random choosing using the random number generator again to chose who faces who.
The results are as they were chosen.
Each stage of the tournament will take place on the New York City Wrestling TV show but then the finals will be at the event, which I can't remember the name of right now LOL.
So the Tri-State championship will be defended in the Tri-State region, as a regional championship.
It will represent the best in the region. All weight classes qualify.
The style of wrestling is a 1976-style of product, so nothing too crazy.
ANYWAYS, below are my first matches, the Round of 16.
I have not decided if I will pre-determine who will win or leave it up to the Agent involved.
I have some ideas of how I would want it to go though!
My choices (for now) are in bold, who are yours?
