So I have added many companies to my NWA Alliance in my 1993 mod save. I have added Border City Wrestling, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, World Wrestling Council, and WAR to name a few. I went international and then realized, oh crap I have to share my championships with all of these promotions. However, I do have access to some excellent talent. My question for creative is, how many is too many when it comes to companies in an alliance? The other promotions can always borrow the alliance champions. I usually try to recruit the promotions that have anything to offer (a territory not already covered or a good roster). But I suggest checking the event schedules of the other promotions, so that bigger promotions don't lock up your talent on specific days. It's not fun running events and finding out that you can't use your champions, because they're working for a bigger promotion.

I am excited about getting some talent loaned over. It's not fun running events and finding out that you can't use your champions, because they're working for a bigger promotion. That has happened to me before and it sucked. I hope that doesn't happen with this alliance.

I started a WWWF game save in the WOTI VI mod last night. Yes, I know, I am all over the place with this game. Setting up promotions is the most I can do some weeknights without completely ignoring my home life. So I guess I am setting them up to play in the future! Well I started a WWWF save as the owner and booker. I like the roster a lot. I do have Andre The Giant, which is awesome. Gorilla Monsoon is my lead announcer and colour guy at the moment. I am trying to hire Bobby Hennan. I really need "The Brain". There are some great heels on the roster but I am lacking in babyface tag teams. My champions are mostly national based except for the WWWF World Championship. I have a National championship and National tag team championship. Hiring rules state I cannot hire under 25 and there are preferred styles that are not wanted either. So, I am low on babyfaces and trying to figure out who to hire. I would also like to create an original Southwest-based promotion with a product that has the "no styles" perference. Anyways, life's busy but I put in some time escaping into TEW and then writing about it here!

Does running a developmental territory need to be run any different than a parent company? There are performers I send away because they are rookies and need their skills developed, but does that just mean to book them in more matches? Does a developmental territory need to have a 30-person talent roster? I would like to run this version of OVW but the parent company WWE is taking up a lot of time, booking 4 shows every week.

You always need to be prepared for the parent company to promote talent, so always have back up plans. Try to have rookies tag or work against some reliable veterans. Solid veterans with good in ring skills, psychology and selling. The roster size is calculated (company size + owner roster size preference).

Do I hire The Ultimate Warrior for WCW in 1993? Do I bring in this troublemaker, pot stirrer for the sake of popularity/ratings? He is unemployed at the moment and maybe Billionaire Ted wants to take a chance. The Undertaker has been added to an ever growing shortlist for new talent, does he suit WCW? Does an unstoppable force such as The Undertaker have a forever home in WCW? Does the style of either The Ultimate Warrior or The Undertaker suit WCW 1993?
What do you think?

Hitting some creative conflict recently. In my original MMA-Crossover promotion, Combat League Wrestling, I have the semi-finals set for the CLW World Championship. Chris Benoit vs. Big Van Vader Bryan Danielson vs. Rick Rude
I know I want Vader to go through to the finals but have been torn on whether Danielson or Rude will go through. Rude is furious with having to put Danielson over. I could try and talk with him but don't know if it will do any good. Rick Rude was a tough bastard in the ring though, and I think he would make an awesome champion, but Danielson is one of the greatest technicians. Rick Rude is the #1 Franchise Player currently. I do want Big Van Vader to be my World Champion but I'm struggling with ignoring Rude's star power. So what do you do creatively when you do not want your top guys to suffer losses? I do have a Best of the Best tournament coming up that I could have Rude win. Tazz and Ken Shamrock are top guys too, so they are going to meet soon. That's another conflict!

I would either give him the Mean Mark gimmick or the biker badass gimmick. Do I hire The Ultimate Warrior for WCW in 1993? Do I bring in this troublemaker, pot stirrer for the sake of popularity/ratings? Depends on what plans you have for him, but personally I can see him feud with guys like Vader, Sid Vicious or Cactus Jack.

Everyone loses sometimes, especially to submissions. They can get their rematch and revenge later.
