How are "Personality" talent used in a promotion?I have just signed Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, and Snoop Dogg to my Southwest Championship Wrestling promotion. Tyson is a babyface, Rodman is heel, and Snoop is babyface too. Arnold Schwarzenegger is signed on too. He is one of my biggest stars, period. I believe I have him in an authority figure role. I was thinking of having Tyson be in an enforcer type of role for the authority. Rodman is a party animal so I am trying to come up with a stable for him to lead. I think Snoop Dogg will be good for backstage segments as well as angles where he raps or raps his favorite worker to the ring. Thoughts? Ideas? Asaemon Frank Reed marc91

Asaemon Frank Reed marc91 Rodman could wrestle (after some training). But the other ones are perfect for angles. Tyson would also be great in brawl, beatdown and pull apart angles.

I'm sure their skills are awful in the game, but Tyson vs. Schwarzenegger would be gold. Maybe in a mixed tag?

Frank ReedI had my avatar/authority figure bring out Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is part of "the office" in my game, and he announced the signing of Mike Tyson who made his debut with Snoop Dogg rapping him to the ring. I am hoping the in-ring segment does gangbusters rating-wise. I am planning introducing Dennis Rodman later on in the show. I think it will be a segment where Dennis comes in to the office of The Authority who is hanging out with Schwarzenegger, smoking cigars. Dennis could gut a promo and that's that. I want to get some "eye candy" to be a valet for him. Did I mention Andy Kaufman is on this roster too?!

Booking Advice Request: Hi, I am looking for some booking advice. How do I deal with booking 3 brands under 1 company's banner? Background: I have the original brand SWCW (Southwest Championship Wrestling), based in the Southwestern US. Then I have SWCW: IWRG (International Wrestling Revolution Group), based a Lucha Libre promotion based in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. - I pillaged a couple of Lucha Libre companies that include IWRG, and decided to stick with the IWRG name. - I am currently unifying the championships between the 2 companies. Also, making roster cuts to that brand as shows go on. Last is SWCW: Pro Wrestling NOAH. This is the promotion that Mitsuharu Misawa founded and is based in Japan. - NOAH was all of the top Japanese Puroresu talent on their roster. - I hold all of their events in the company's home region of Japan.
So, last night I book 2 Lucha shows and along the way make some talent cuts and I am holding matches to unify championships. I get the idea of, "what if I eventually get talent cut so low I just merge with the original promotion SWCW?" There are many workers who have popularity in the Southwest US, so why not just move them to the OG brand? Does this idea of downsizing a brand to be more manageable and possibly merge make sense? So is this something to do? Do I bring over the unified championships to SWCW too? I believe there are definitely more cuts to be made. I need my workers to be making above a 50 point rating per match! Some of these guys are just not doing that! So, they're gone. For Pro Wrestling NOAH, my roster is basically staying as it is. I believe it has solid star power to really boost my popularity in Japan. It only has 1 show a month right now, opposed to multiple shows that IWRG has. It also has a DREAM roster. There is far too much good talent to downsize but could be reassigned to SWCW. I believe a crossover storyline could definitely work. All-Japan Pro Wrestling is a child company of SWCW and has some legendary talent too.

I like having two brands, but it feels to much work to book 3 different ones unless you can get help from the auto booker. I would have tried to merge into two brands, via a draft.

I would have tried to merge into two brands, via a draft. This seems like a good idea. The IWRG brand has Intercontinental championships, which could be used in 1 of 2 brands. I definitely need to keep unifying championships. Which to me just means the high rated championship that is claimed is that weight class's championship. There's definitely too many championships between the 2 Lucha Libre companies I brought together.

Following up my last post with, what should I do with a new Universal Wrestling Federation?I am using the War Of The Immortals VI mod so Mid-South Wrestling Association is still a thing. Plus WCCW is around as well. I have generations of talent to choose from too. I started out trying to hire some popular workers in the Mid-South region. I have done that before though and it kind of bores me to do it again. So what else can be done? This is definitely a predecessor to the Bill Watts UWF. I can always stick with the same kind of product and roster but it really blends in a lot with MSW and WCCW. Asaemon Frank Reed marc91

So what about trying to outperform WWF using a WWF type of product.
