Following up my last post with, what should I do with a new Universal Wrestling Federation?I am using the War Of The Immortals VI mod so Mid-South Wrestling Association is still a thing. Plus WCCW is around as well. I have generations of talent to choose from too. I started out trying to hire some popular workers in the Mid-South region. I have done that before though and it kind of bores me to do it again. So what else can be done?This is definitely a predecessor to the Bill Watts UWF. I can always stick with the same kind of product and roster but it really blends in a lot with MSW and WCCW. Asaemon Frank Reed marc91 UWF would work as a international brand. So what about trying to outperform WWF using a WWF type of product. This! Hopefully you still have lots of good free agents to sign |

Hopefully you still have lots of good free agents to sign Yes I am digging this idea. Free Agents in this mod can definitely be hard to come bye since more popular workers are signed to deals with multiple companies. I might have to lock some down with exclusive contracts. |

That is interesting. I wonder if I should move them from Mid-South to another popular region? I might do that to hire more popular workers. Okay, well that is definitely something to think about. They are suppose to be "Universal". I was thinking of the major TV areas. Since New York is taken, then the other choices would be Chicago or Los Angeles.
Another option would be Las Vegas, since it's a popular and flashy travel destination with lots of international visitors.

How can I get my popularity up?
I am running a shoot-style pro wrestling promotion based out of the Southwest region of the US. No gimmicks and basic match set-ups. I have a talented roster with some popular talent but my product seems to be severely limiting my exposure for broadcasting, which seems to be limiting my popularity. My popularity in the Southwest is only in the teens right now. My company is an original one, American League of Fighters. I am currently running a 9 month Round Robin tournament consisting of a random drawing of 9 workers from my roster. I have started to allow the AI choose the winner of the matches to give the Round Robin outcome an even more random feel to it. The tournament is for the ALF World Heavyweight Championship. Since my company is so small, I have not drawn in too many big names to boost popularity but do have Samoa Joe as my top "out of tournament" worker right now.
So what could I start to do to boost my popularity before the year is over? I am broadcasting through YouTube <groan> and it seems to be my only widespread broadcaster to choose from. Even they are shortening my broadcasting contracts. So I guess I might have to start my own broadcaster?! Not sure how that could help.
I am also only running 1 show a month. I did this not to burn my talent out due to the product style but if more of my talent was available an extra day a month I might create a show too?
Not gaining a lot of popularity is a drag right now but I am having fun running the random Round Robin.

Not sure which year you are in, but after the MMA boom the product should have appeal to fans and broadcasters. The type of broadcasters that also airs sports, boxing, MMA etc. Starting your own broadcaster is one option, if you got plenty of money to spare. It's pretty expensive to increase the broadcaster range. |

How do you end a feud? Where to next?Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett vs. Sgt. Slaughter and Jim Duggan in UWF. I have been doing one-one-one matches between the 4 but I don't think any clean endings. I am thinking of doing a cage match between the 4 and have Slaughter and Duggan go over. How do I save face with Lawler and Jarrett?Trying to think of what to do with Slaughter and Duggan next too.
