I don't know if this is the right thread or not, but... what's the best April/May 2001 data for TEW (2020 or 2016 - I can convert it)? I think there's no April scenario, tbh, but if there is, I prefer April over May, but I prefer quality overall, so... I want to book a "different" ECW. Thanks in advance!
It would be easy to roll it back to april if you want. Just check and update champions, title histories and rosters. Skills and popularity should be pretty much the same.

Thanks. I can start in May. Either way, it seems I'd have to take WCW down and move most of the guys to WWF and some to ECW (I actually want it to mimmick a diary I had in 2017/18 in a Portuguese forum. Maybe when I'm done with the AJPW one I'd make it a diary here too).

Hey there! So I have a really good champion in Curt Hennig in my current promotion. I have had him defending the championship in every event match, but not on TV. I really like a heel like Curt Hennig as my champion but I do have a lot of great wrestling talent and some stars as well. Curt Hennig is my #1 Franchise Player. Do I need to look to my other Franchise Players for the next champion? Do I need to look at "Who's Hot"? What I am thinking of is whoever Hennig loses the championship to has him placed at the bottom of contenders and he has to fight his way back up from the bottom. This would mean challengers below the "Top 5 Franchise Players". The Big Show is a top Franchise Player and could easily be the next SECW Heavyweight Champion. I also have great in-ring talent like Chris Benoit and Booker T, who both kick ass in the ring. I could see Booker T defeating Big Show after a possible failed attempt from Chris Benoit. Then here comes Hennig and he defeats Booker. I am just trying to figure out who is going to cut the heartstring of my attachment with Hennig being my promotion's top champion.

I usually go for the ones with star quality and in ring skills. I don't look that often on the top lists.

What would I use an Alliance for if I have many Child Companies? Do I gain anything from this? I was thinking of making a Southeastern Wrestling Alliance featuring my primary company and then all of the child companies. I don't know if I want talent loans enabled. I have some popular wrestlers and wouldn't want to lose them from a show because they're loaned out. Loaning talent could increase the ratings of shows though. I am not sure what the advantage would be.
If I put secondary championships on talent that have popularity higher than the title's prestige, does that help with raising the championship's prestige? Does the prestige of a championship amount to anything positive for the company?

How many matches is too many matches for an event? Do I need to abide by the matches vs. angles percentages for the product? If I have 12 matches booked for the event, is this going to take a toll on my audience and the talent?

It depends on the length of the show and the match / angle ratio. I usually have between 10-15 matches.

I was wondering about doing a diary with WWE in 2004. But this question comes to my mind, for me it's a fantasy game where I play from the confort of my own home and it's me making fictional fantasy storylines and matches based on wrestling. But we all know about the dark cloud of this era. How do you guys feel about it? I mean, Benoit and Guerrero comes to the top of my mind, is this why people don't have diaries in this eras? Would hurt someone's feelings if I fictionally pushed Benoit in a diary? Or Guerrero past his passing date? I see no problem in it, and I can look back and enjoy a Benoit match just like any other wrestling match of quality without caring for the real life events, what should I do? Pick a different era? I really enjoy the Ruthless Agression mod and this was the time where I watched wrestling the most, but really don't know about what should I do, given those events.

I've been thinking about starting a modern day diary using the Pro Wrestling Sim game for a while now. But I don't want to use frequently used companies or scenarios (like WCW reborn or something). And I want it to be a slightly different scenario. Maybe Vince McMahon is fired from WWE and AEW hires him as creative director, working under Tony etc. etc. IDK. What do you recommend?
