I have been running a universe on WWE2k23 for a little bit now, and created shows to go along with it. I figured this would be a good place to post them. The universe starts in September of 1986 in the WWF, and will have 3 full watchable weekly shows (Wrestling Challenge, Prime Time Wrestling, Superstars of Wrestling), an arena show, and a PPV event every month. Rosters will start off loosely accurate, as far as real world goes, but we will surely veer off path eventually. I've tried to incorporate the fun theme songs we all enjoy from the 80s, and tried to keep the vibe of the shows very era-relevant. I will update this thread with rosters and history, etc. soon. Hope you all enjoy the first episode of Superstars. QUICK LINKS TO SHOWS:001 - Superstars 1 | 002 - Challenge 1 | 003 - Prime Time 1 | 004 - Superstars 2 | 005 - Challenge 2 | 006 - Prime Time 2 | 007 - Superstars 3 | 008 - Live at MSG 1 | 009 - Challenge 3 | 010 - Prime Time 3 CURRENT MONTH: SEPTEMBER, 1986 WEEKLY TV SHOWS: WRESTLING CHALLENGE, PRIME TIME WRESTLING, SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING THIS MONTH'S ARENA SHOW: MADISON SQUARE GARDEN - New York, NY WATCHTHIS MONTH'S PPV/PLE: SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT - New York, NY Matches booked for PPV/PLE: - Billy Jack Haynes / Hulk Hogan / Andre the Giant vs. King Kong Bundy / Big John Studd / King Harley Race - Tito Santana vs. Randy "Macho Man" Savage (C) - Intercontinental Title - Corporal Kirschner vs. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff - Falls Count Anywhere - Hillbilly Jim vs. Adorable Adrian Adonis - The U.S. Express (Mike Rotundo and Danny Spivey) vs. The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine) - Tornado Tag Match - Ted Arcidi vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts TITLE HISTORY:Starting Champions: WWF World Champion: Hulk Hogan WWF Intercontinental Champion: Randy "Macho Man" Savage WWF Tag Team Champions: British Bulldogs CURRENT ROSTER:Adorable Adrian Adonis Sivi Afi Andre the Giant Ted Arcidi Outlaw Ron Bass Brutus Beefcake B. After the match, he continued to punish Strongbow at ringside, throwing him into the steps. - Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke (w/ Uncle Elmer) vs. Hart Foundation (w/ Jimmy Hart): This match could have gone either way, but the technical prowess of the Hart Foundation proved to be too much. Hart Foundation wins. - "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff vs. Corporal Kirschner: Orndorff dominated most of the match, busting Kirschner open at one point. He hit a piledriver and almost got the win, but Kirschner managed to kick out and quickly hit Mr. Wonderful with a Powerslam for the victory. After the match, Orndorff wanted a handshake, but kicked Kirschner in the nether-region instead.
Up next is Wrestling Challenge!

Kamala won with a brutal kick to the face. - Iron Mike Sharpe and Tiger Chung Lee vs. The Can-Am Connection: Martel and Zenk used their quickness and teamwork to come out on top in this match-up that featured youth versus experience. Martel wins with a triple fist drop. - Scott Casey vs. Koko B. Ware: Koko B. Ware and Scott Casey went back and forth, earning each other's respect until Koko caught Casey with a dropkick, following The Ghostbuster. Following the match, the two competitors showed their respect with a handshaker, and Casey raised his opponent's hand. - Tim Horner vs. Cowboy Bob Orton (w/ Adorable Adrian Adonis and Jimmy Hart): Orton used violence to push Horner around the ring, and gain a victory that was his for most of the match. Orton won by slamming his opponents head into the canvas in frustration. - Killer Bees vs. Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff (w/ Freddie Blassie): The Killer Bees showed why they are one of the WWF's most exciting tag teams, but in the end, Sheik and Volkoff were too much for them. Volkoff got the win with his Backbreaker. - Tito Santana vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) (non-title): Macho Man had the upper hand early on, but Santana landed a springboard dropkick, followed by a big elbow off the top rope for the ironic victory. In the end, Dynamite Kid landed a double foot stomp from the top rope for the win. - Barry Horowitz vs. George "The Animal" Steele: The Animal came out hot for this one, but Horowitz was able to slow him down. After a long battle, Steele won with a brutal Gutbuster, dropping Horowitz from above his head over his knee. - Big John Studd vs. Hulk Hogan (non-title): The two monsters collided, and went at it from the opening bell. Hogan got the advantage, and eventually got the leg drop for the pinfall. Studd was angered by this, and when Hogan avoided his post-match attack and started up the ramp, he took it out on the referee, knocking the official to the mat.

Are we allowed to make or ask suggestions on who you should make for your roster? Cause you could create skandor akbar and the missing link and form devastation Inc. I have more ideas if your interested. And what about the women's division and their championship?

As for a women's division, I'm working on creating a few women for Moolah to wrestle haha. She's the only woman from that era I have. If they turn out good enough, I'll work them in for sure! Thanks for checking it out.

As the second week of September, 1986 comes to a close, we are treated to another episode of Superstars of Wrestling! This week, we see Greg Valentine attempt to avenge the loss of The Dream Team to the U.S. Express on last week's show, as he faces Mike Rotundo in singles action. The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) take on The Rougeau Brothers, and we will also see Jake "The Snake", Sivi Afi, Junkyard Dog, and many more. Our co-main event stems from an incident on last week's Superstars episode. After Orndorff landed a sneaky low blow on Kirschner following their match, the Corporal demanded to get even. So, this week they face each other again in a tag team match, and each guy has brought along a mystery tag partner! Enjoy the show! Week 2, September, 1986WWF Superstars of Wrestling episode 2
FULL CARD:Dick Slater vs. Sivi Afi The Young Stallions vs. The Rougeau Brothers Mike Rotundo vs. Greg Valentine Moondog Spot vs. Jake Roberts Paul Orndorff and mystery partner vs. Corporal Kirschner and mystery partner Junkyard Dog vs. Honky Tonk Man FULL RESULTS:
- Dick Slater vs. Sivi Afi: Slater started off taking control, but Afi's speed and striking took over. Sivi Afi got the win after a nice cross body, which followed a brutal punch/kick/chop combo that almost ended the match. - The Young Stallions (Paul Roma and Jim Powers) vs. The Rougeau Brothers: This was a back and forth fight that featured two of the best teams in the WWF. The Rougeaus ended up getting the win after a nice leg lariat. - Mike Rotundo (w/ Dan Spivey) vs. Greg Valentine (w/ Brutus Beefcake and Lucious Johnny Valiant): After getting distracted and losing last week, Valentine looked to get his revenge. Controlling most of the match, he was stunned by a drop to the turnbuckle, followed by a big Samoan Drop type move from Rotundo. Rotundo wins! - Moondog Spot vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts: Spot was tough, like always, but Roberts wore him down, and finished the match with a short-arm clothesline. After the match, we got to meet Damien the snake. - Paul Orndorff and mystery partner vs. Corporal Kirschner and mystery partner: Orndorff came out first, and his partner was none other than Hercules. The bag pipes hit next, and we quickly realized that Kirschner had brought a friend, and that friend was Rowdy Roddy Piper! The match was a rough and tumble affair, with plenty of action from both sides. In the end, Orndorff hit Kirschner with a Piledriver and got the win. Reviewing the tape, Kirschner was able to grab the bottom rope at the count of 2, but the ref missed it and continued the count. We haven't seen the last of these two! - Junkyard Dog vs. Honky Tonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart): Our main event saw the debut of Honky Tonk Man on Superstars, and he faced a crowd favorite in Junkyard Dog. JYD got the upper hand, and almost got the win with his Powerslam, but Honky Tonk was able to land the Shake, Rattle, and Roll to win the match-up. Next up is another episode of Wrestling Challenge!

As for a women's division, I'm working on creating a few women for Moolah to wrestle haha. She's the only woman from that era I have. If they turn out good enough, I'll work them in for sure! Thanks for checking it out. Awesome, thanks. but I'm not sure if Moolah should be wrestling anymore at this time, especially sense her wrestling style mostly involves hairpulling. Maybe you could book her in a retirement match for the women's title at wrestlemania 3 replacing the 6 man tag team match involving hillbilly Jim, king Kong Bundy and the midgets(I'm sorry if that's offensive but it's just how they're called in wrestling). As for who to sign or create there's Judy Martin, Velvet McIntyre, NOT wendi richter cause realistically it would take alot to convince her to comeback after the original screwjob, Leilani kai, miss Elizabeth but she was more of a valet, and when 87 come around you can make rockin Robin, Sherri who while a valet in wwe was a wrestler in awa and the jumping bomb angels from all Japan Women's pro wrestling. Now looking at this you would have about 7-8 wrestlers in your division, but i feel like you need to be in the double digits to not become stale or amateurish, fortunately ajwpw was basically the mecca of women's wrestling in the 80's, the one promotion where females actually wrestled instead. Girls like the crush gals, lioness Asuka and chigusa nagayo, the monster Ripper Rhonda sing who should NOT be treated as a comedy character, bull nakano, dump Matsumoto and Jackie Sato would be great.

Week 3 kicks off with another episode of Wrestling Challenge! In action this week, we will see Jimmy Jack Funk, Ted Arcidi, Bret Hart, Hillbilly Jim, and more. After last week's show of respect following their singles match, Scott Casey and Koko B. Ware have decided to team up, and will face the team of Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik. For our Main Event, we have a rematch from last week - Macho Man faces Tito Santana in a non-title match. Santana got the best of Savage last week. Stay tuned for the action! Week 3, September, 1986WWF Wrestling Challenge episode 2
FULL CARD:Leaping Lanny Poffo vs. Jimmy Jack Funk Koko B. Ware and Scott Casey vs. Nikolai Volkoff and Iron Sheik Tim Horner vs. Ted Arcidi Tony Garea vs. Bret Hart Moondog Rex vs. Hillbilly Jim Tito Santana vs. Randy Savage (non-title) FULL RESULTS:- Leaping Lanny Poffo vs. Jimmy Jack Funk: Both men wrestled hard, but it was Jimmy Jack Funk, in the end, with the victory via falling elbow from the turnbuckle. - Koko B. Ware and Scott Casey vs. Nikolai Volkoff and Iron Sheik: Koko and Casey decided to team up following their singles match last week, and they looked great doing it! Facing one of the top teams in the WWF in Sheik and Volkoff, they got off to a good start, hitting double team moves and taking it to the more experienced wrestlers. However, the tides shifted, and Sheik was able to catch Koko in the Camel Clutch for the submission win. - Tim Horner vs. Ted Arcidi: Arcidi made his debut, and he lived up to the hype. He demonstrated strength like we haven't seen in the WWF in some time. Horner fought, but Arcidi picked up the victory with a Powerbomb, followed by a huge elbow off the top. Impressive debut for Ted Arcidi. - Tony Garea vs. Bret "Hitman" Hart: Garea and Hart had a very technical match, with both men showing their prowess. Hart wore Garea down, and began to work towards damaging the leg. Bret Hart finished the match with his patented Sharpshooter, for the win. - Moondog Rex vs. Hillbilly Jim: Rex proved tough, battling with Hillbilly Jim throughout the match, both in and out of the ring. Moondog Spot, Rex's tag partner, kept trying to distract the referee to give the Moondog an advantage, but Jim avoided the trouble, and got the win with a huge clothesline. - Tito Santana vs. Randy "Macho Man" Savage (non-title): In a rematch from last week's episode of Wrestling Challenge, Intercontinental Champion Randy Savage faced Tito Santana in a non-title affair. Macho got out to a quick start, but found himself distracted by taunting Santana, and Tito caught him sleeping with a quick dropkick, followed by his Flying Forearm for the victory! The crowd went crazy! As Santana left the ring, he seemed to be favoring his ribs, so we will have to keep an eye on that situation as it develops! Next up, Prime Time Wrestling! And, later this week, we have our first arena show at MSG!

Why'd they make this guy a Funk again? I remember Ted Arcidi, brief tenure but he still got an ljn figure. Apparently he got fired cause they signed Ken patera back after his 2 year prison sentence after he threw a rock at a McDonald's window, and they didn't want to build 2 wrestlers billed the world's strongest man. Instead of doing that why not have The feud over the right to be called the world's strongest man?

The servers for this particular game shut down eventually, I'll have to stock up haha. I've made a few, but most of these are downloaded from a popular creator. And, definitely, the Jimmy Jack Funk character was a real head scratcher.
