Total Extreme Wrestling IX Review
"Feels like a DLC for TEW 2020 and not a new game!"
Review Category | Rating | Comment
| User Interface and Visual
| 1 | Outdated 90s look. Looks more like a spreadsheat than a modern wrestling booking sim. Still only a updated version of TEW 2020. The fan created Excel sheets for the exported MDB files looks better than the actual game.
| Gameplay Mechanics
| 6 | Some previously removed features have been brought back as "new features". Re-added features and new features improves the game, but there is still no big game changers. Lots of settings are still hardcoded. Real World scenarios will run more unrealistically than in TEW 2016 and TEW 2013 due to removed settings and hardcoded settings. Workaround and tweaks for balancing mods have been removed.
| Playability
| 6 | TEW was created and balanced to simulate Cornellverse. Fantasy mods will run better than real world content.

| Graphics
| 1 | The series still don't support PNG pictures. Lots of screens where cosmetic graphics are not being used.
| Availability
| 1 | Grey Dog Software will no longer sell games on Steam. Only available in some outdated webshop.
| Priceworthy
| 1
| Expensive and even more expensive if you live outside Unites States. Very seldom available on Sales.
