OOC: Apologies, folks. I know that some of you were looking forward to reading Devil in the Details, but alas, I couldn't find myself getting too invested in the things that I had planned. Let's get started with an episode of WWF Monday Night RAW to whet your appetite, shall we? --- WWF Monday Night RAWJanuary 1, 1996Madison Square GardenNew York, NY
--- The crowd is electric as WWF Monday Night RAW comes on the air, though the tone is a bit more hectic backstage as owner of the World Wrestling Federation, Vince McMahon, had to send both Marty Jannetty (high on soft drugs) and the yet-to-return Jake Roberts (high on hard drugs) to rehab. Marty was gracious for the opportunity of yet another chance, while The Snake was said to have slammed his phone down after receiving the news. "Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW!" Vince McMahon bellows out, a proud smile on his face as he stands alongside Jerry Lawler. Because as happy as McMahon looks, The King looks around at the crowd with a scowl on his face. "What's wrong, King? Did you not have a good New Year?" "Oh, I did. I just can't stand being here in Madison Square Garden, that's all. You know, I was invited to a ball drop last night, and it turned out to be a Bar Mitzvah, McMahon!" Vince's face immediately darkens as he tries to think of a way to cover for his colleague's comments. He's in luck, though, as someone backstage plays Yokozuna's music, and the massive sumo wrestler comes out to the ring followed by his manager, the devious Mr. Fuji. Shortly after Yokozuna gets in the ring, the crowd in Madison Square Garden almost blows the roof off of the building as the four-time WWF Intercontinental champion, Razor Ramon, arrives for this non-title match. --- Razor Ramon (c) DEFEATED YokozunaReferee: Dave Hebner Agent: Pat Patterson Razor wins the hard-fought battle in just over nine minutes after Owen Hart tried to help the massive sumo wrestler and his tag team partner pick up the victory with a clothesline during a distraction of the referee by Mr. Fuji. Unfortunately for Owen, The Bad Guy was too wise for his tricks, ducking the clothesline at the last minute, and it was partner colliding with partner in the middle of the ring. Tossing Owen out of the ring, Razor covered Yokozuna for the pin just as the referee turned back around. During the match, though, Razor Ramon received yet another golden gift from Goldust. What kind of mind games is Goldust playing with The Bad Guy? After the match, a furious Owen Hart gets in the way of Yokozuna as he is leaving the ringside area with Mr. Fuji. Demanding that he listen to him from now on, Owen slaps the massive sumo wrestler across the face, which only draws the ire of his tag team partner as Yokozuna shoves Owen Hart to the floor. As the show is going to a commercial break, the camera zooms in on Owen as he mutters, "he'll pay for that!"
--- Smokin' Gunns (c) DEFEATED Rad Radford and Brooklyn BrawlerReferee: Mike Chioda Agent: Gerald Brisco In a quick five-minute match, the WWF World Tag Team champions pick up the victory after Billy Gunn pins Rad Radford following the Gunn Slinger. --- Following the match, the World Wrestling Federation were able to license the song Gangsta's Paradise, to air in a video for the WWF World Title Picture. Clips of Bret Hart's match with Diesel at Survivor Series 1995 are shown, as well as Diesel's anger when he found out that The Undertaker was scheduled to face Bret at the Royal Rumble. But the main question on everyone's mind is: Will HBK return?
---Owen Hart DEFEATED Savio VegaReferee: Jim Korderas Agent: Gerald Brisco While his tag team partner, Yokozuna, didn't show up at ringside, much to his annoyance, the youngest son of Stu and Helen Hart still had a trick up his sleeve, and that trick was Jim Cornette who provided a distraction that allowed Owen Hart to pick up the sneaky victory in seven minutes of a very highly competitive match. Both Owen and Cornette are smiling after the match as they share in a sweaty embrace, before Owen leans his head over Jim Cornette's shoulder once he notices the camera trailing behind them. "You'll pay for what you did, Yoko. You'll pay!"
---"What could Owen Hart mean by that, King?" Vince McMahon questions. "Owen Hart saying that his tag team partner, Yokozuna, is going to pay. Pay for what, exactly?" "You don't put your hands on a Hart, McMahon." The King replies, a smile on his face. "Excuse me?! You put your hands on Bret Hart multiple times over the years, if I recall!" "I should clarify then. You don't put your hands on Owen Hart." --- As Vince McMahon tries to carry on and talk about what is to come on the next broadcast, the WWF cameras catch Razor Ramon as he is tossing things around in his dressing room. He stops once he notices the camera, and promises one thing: he's going to get Goldust, mang, and carve him up!
--- NEXT WEEK: Ahmed Johnson in action! The Bodydonnas! Hunter Hearst Helmsley! And, Jim Ross has a sit-down interview with Diesel! --- Bret Hart (c) DEFEATED 1-2-3 KidReferee: Dave Hebner Agent: Pat Patterson The Hitman picks up the victory in this non-title affair in just over fifteen minutes with the Sharpshooter. While the match wasn't a classic like their previous encounter a year and a half ago, it was still something to be amazed by. Ted DiBiase and Psycho Sid were at ringside, watching their teammate from the Million Dollar Corporation do battle, but both men surprised the fans of the World Wrestling Federation as they decided not to get involved in the action, even though there were countless opportunities in which they could have. After the match, it was a different story, though. Psycho Sid and Ted DiBiase both got in the ring and began assaulting the WWF World Heavyweight champion once the bell rang, and though it wasn't for long, as the lights in Madison Square Garden quickly went out. Once they came back on, The Undertaker was standing in the middle of the ring. DiBiase quickly scurried out of the ring, but Psycho Sid wasn't afraid of The Man from the Dark Side; the two men went nose to nose with each other as WWF Monday Night RAW went off the air. --- OOC: I hope you guys enjoyed the episode! Let me know if you have any ideas, suggestions, or things you'd like to see happen in the future.

Jim Ross' Ross Report on the WWF Superstar Hotline:
- Rumors are swirling in the World Wrestling Federation that four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, Razor Ramon, has been sent to a rehabilitation facility after wrestling on Monday Night RAW, under the influence of alcohol. How will this affect his feud with Goldust? Only time will tell.
- Mr. Perfect might be leaving the WWF Superstars announce table in the near future (check: Royal Rumble) to return to ringside as a manager for a debuting tag team in the World Wrestling Federation. This team, according to Perfect himself, is set to eliminate the competition.
- Shawn Michaels will in fact return to the World Wrestling Federation at the Royal Rumble, though The Heartbreak Kid is not endearing himself to his colleagues in the locker room, as he's been openly critical of the ring work of Bart Gunn of the Smokin' Gunns.

WWF Superstars January 7, 1996 Lantz Arena Charleston, IL
---
"Happy new year, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Superstars!" Jim Ross calls out to fans around the world from his seat at the desk. "I'm Jim Ross, and with me for the next sixty minutes is the former two-time WWF Intercontinental champion, Mr. Perfect!"
Mr. Perfect aimlessly twirling his pen, before smiling once he spots the camera. "You're right, Ross! A former two-time champion, and if I was still in that ring, Razor Ramon wouldn't have Goldust to worry about."
J.R. shrugs his shoulders, as if to say that his broadcast colleague wasn't wrong with his comment. "We've got a lot of action in store, though. We've got the debut of Ted DiBiase's Ringmaster in moments, as well as Jeff Jarrett, and then in our feature match tonight, we have The Man from the Dark Side himself, The Undertaker in action as he takes on Tatanka!"
Perfect looks to make a comment, but the cackling of Ted DiBiase cuts him off, as the song of the Million Dollar Corporation is heard over the speakers and out steps Ted DiBiase, a gleam in his eye. Following close behind, an icy glare in his eyes, is his newest protégé, The Ringmaster.
---
The Ringmaster DEFEATED Bobby Fulton Referee: Jim Korderas Agent: Gerald Brisco
It appears that The Ringmaster is more methodical than anyone that has been in the Million Dollar Man's Corporation, past or present, as after Fulton damaged his knee on a missed diving knee drop, The Ringmaster began to tear apart the knee of his fallen opponent. Then, after a few minutes of sheer brutality, The Ringmaster made his opponent give up following a Single Leg Crab.
---
Following the match and a laugh from Ted DiBiase, we were taken back to Madison Square Garden on Monday night as the cameras at Monday Night RAW caught up with Bret Hart after his hard-fought battle with 1-2-3 Kid, where he had a few words for Psycho Sid.
The WWF World Heavyweight champion said that lately: he's been beaten down by men that are a lot bigger than him, but he still hasn't given up. He is thankful that The Undertaker came out to save him, and he is thankful that The Undertaker agreed to tag with him to take on the 1-2-3 Kid and Psycho Sid next week, but if The Undertaker gets in his way, then he'll be excellently executed!
---
Henry O. Godwinn DEFEATED Rip Rogers Referee: Dave Hebner Agent: Gerald Brisco
In less than three minutes, Henry O. Godwinn pinned Rip Rogers following a Pumphandle Slam. Rogers might have thought that was it, but it wasn't as Godwinn decided to empty the contents of his slop bucket onto his prone opponent.
---
"You're telling me that you'd wrestle in that mess, Ross?" To say that Mr. Perfect was disgusted, it was an understatement, as the former two-time WWF Intercontinental champion threw his pen across the desk. "When I was wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation, no one would dare do something like that to me."
---
Following the brief outburst from Mr. Perfect, the World Wrestling Federation were once again able to license the song Gangsta's Paradise, to air the same video from Monday night for the WWF World Title Picture. Clips of Bret Hart's match with Diesel at Survivor Series 1995 are shown, as well as Diesel's anger when he found out that The Undertaker was scheduled to face Bret at the Royal Rumble. But the main question on everyone's mind is: Will HBK return?
---
"Fans, this Monday night, I am going to sit down with the former WWF World Heavyweight champion, and I assure you that no questions will be off limits. Diesel is a very angry individual, and some say rightfully so, so I will do my best to get to the bottom of it."
---
Jeff Jarrett DEFEATED Lou Marconi Referee: Jim Korderas Agent: Tony Garea
Jeff Jarrett makes short work of his opponent tonight, finishing Lou Marconi in less than five minutes after applying the Figure-Four Leglock. As soon as his opponent gives up, Jarrett releases the hold before making his way to the nearest camera, where he says with a smile: Ain't I great?
---
WWF SLAM JAM EVENT CENTER: Dok Hendrix hypes up the event coming up in Montreal, Quebec, as it will be the last show held at the Montreal Forum. You don't want to miss the opportunity to see all your favorite WWF Superstars, do you? So, go buy tickets now, and witness the World Wrestling Federation in your town!
---
Bodydonnas DEFEATED Barry Horowitz and Hakushi Referee: Jim Korderas Agent: Gerald Brisco
It seems that all of Skip's worries from the previous year, with Barry Horowitz, are no more, as the Bodydonnas picked up the victory over the team of Barry Horowitz and Hakushi in just over seven minutes. As Horowitz was preparing to hit a top rope move on a prone Skip, Sunny climbed onto the apron and provided a distraction, which led to Skip crotching his opponent and finishing him off with a suplex.
After the match, Sunny smiled as she got into the ring, and raised the hands of her Bodydonnas. Could we be looking at the future WWF World Tag Team champions?
---
Ted DiBiase stands by with Psycho Sid and the 1-2-3 Kid, a confident look on his face: Hitman! Undertaker! You're teaming up to take on MY Corporation on Monday night? We'll see about that.
---
"What did Ted DiBiase mean by that?" J.R. asks, just as the lights dim in the Lantz Arena as The Undertaker makes his way down to the ring for his match against Tatanka.
The Undertaker DEFEATED Tatanka Referee: Tim White Agent: Pat Patterson
As a former member of Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Corporation, Tatanka is trying everything in his power to finish off The Man from the Dark Side. It wasn't until the fourteen-minute mark, as he was about to hit The Undertaker with a Tomahawk Chop, that Tatanka was caught around the throat by the purple-gloved hand of The Undertaker. Lifted six feet off of the ground and planted down on his back, Tatanka is quickly pinned following the Chokeslam.
Once the bell rings, The Undertaker is immediately taken down with a chop block. Clutching his knee, The Man from the Dark Side is showing a sign that we aren't used to seeing from him: pain. The cameras try to get a shot of his attacker as The Undertaker is getting his knee stomped on, until finally referees and agents arrive at the scene to pull the assailant away. Oh, my! Is this what Ted DiBiase meant? The Ringmaster just took out The Undertaker!
Paul Bearer hovers over The Undertaker as agents send The Ringmaster to the back. Once he reaches the curtains, Ted DiBiase appears by his protégé's side: See you on Monday, Deadman! Hahahaha!

OOC: Things are definitely heating up in the World Wrestling Federation, folks. If I were to venture a guess, I'd say that the Road to WrestleMania is going to be a wild and bumpy ride. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the match on WWF Superstars, featuring The Undertaker and Tatanka, was rated an 81. --- WWF Monday Night RAWJanuary 8, 1996FleetCenterBoston, MA
--- Another capacity crowd was on hand for an episode of WWF Monday Night RAW, and thankfully for Vince McMahon, he didn't have to deal with the headache of sending home any talent. Though, he did receive a phone call from Psycho Sid over the weekend, where the big man explained at length the reasons why he didn't think that Tom Prichard (Zip from the Bodydonnas) was connecting with the fans of the World Wrestling Federation. While he did listen to the reasons, McMahon was said to have been relieved when the sound of an incoming fax on his fax machine went off, and he received a signed four-year contract for a new talent, who is set to be debuting in the near future. "We are live from Boston, Massachusetts, and the FleetCenter!" Vince McMahon said, the cameras shining bright as the fans were ready for some action, and action was what they were going to get as the sound of Ahmed Johnson's music played, bringing out the energetic superstar from Houston, Texas. As Ahmed hopped over the ropes, the crowd's energy was brought right back down by the appearance of the King of the Ring himself, King Mabel. Mabel wore a scowl on his face as he slowly approached the ring, mouthing a few choice words to the fans along the way. --- Ahmed Johnson DEFEATED King MabelReferee: Jack Doan Agent: Gerald Brisco Fans were still settling down in their seats with their popcorn and sodas as this one started, though it wasn't a long contest by any stretch of the imagination. King Mabel started the match quickly, surprising the fans with a massive splash in the corner after Ahmed Johnson was distracted by Sir Mo. Instead of going for what might've been an easy pinfall, the King of the Ring picked up his opponent, holding him in a bear hug as the fans began to chant for Ahmed! Ahmed! Ahmed! It worked, though, as Ahmed Johnson soon fought out of the hold and surprised everyone in attendance with a ring-shaking body slam to the King of the Ring. That wasn't all, as once Mabel got to his feet, Ahmed planted him with a massive spinebuster for the three count. Ahmed didn't get to celebrate for long, though, as Jeff Jarrett made his presence known by wrapping an acoustic guitar around Johnson's head. The sickening thud reverberated through the venue, but to the surprise of all in attendance, including Vince McMahon himself, Johnson got to his feet without the assistance of any medical personnel as Jarrett made his escape through the crowd. --- "Can you believe that, King? Ahmed Johnson just shook off that guitar shot from Jeff Jarrett! What's Jeff Jarrett going to do when Ahmed Johnson finally gets his hands on him at the Royal Rumble?" Jerry Lawler was oddly silent, leading McMahon to prod him once more, causing The King to get out of his seat. "I've got a phone call to make, McMahon." --- Vince McMahon could only shake his head, perplexed at The King's comments. However, the action in the World Wrestling Federation continues to move forward, and we were taken to Todd Pettengill standing by with Paul Bearer. Conspicuous by his absence was The Undertaker, though Bearer promised that The Man from the Dark Side would be there for his tag team match: The Creatures of the Night don't take kindly to Ted DiBiase's threats, Mr. Pettengill. I assure you that my Undertaker will be in action. Oooh, yes!---
Coming back from the commercial break, Jerry Lawler was back in his seat, a determined look on his face. It wasn't until the appearance of Sunny leading the Bodydonnas out for action that a smile came across the face of The King. Bodydonnas DEFEATED BushwhackersReferee: Jim Korderas Agent: Pat Patterson In a relatively quick match, Skip pinned Bushwhacker Luke following a Diving Headbutt from the middle rope. It wasn't until after the match that Sunny, grossed out by the Bushwhackers' pre-match antics, told Skip and Zip to put them in the retirement home - for good!, causing the reigning WWF World Tag Team champions, Bart and Billy Gunn, to run out for the save. --- Following the match, the World Wrestling Federation were able to license the song Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, to air in a video highlighting the possible return of Shawn Michaels. At the end of the video, we see that HBK will be making an announcement about his career next week on Monday Night RAW. --- Hunter Hearst Helmsley DEFEATED Aldo MontoyaReferee: Dave Hebner Agent: Pat Patterson In just under three minutes, the Connecticut Blue Blood was able to pick up the victory, spiking his opponent's head into the mat with the Pedigree. After Dave Hebner rolled Aldo Montoya out of the ring to safety, one of the most heinous incidents to ever take place in the World Wrestling Federation took place. As he was making his way to the backstage area, Hunter Hearst Helmsley noticed his original trainer, the legendary Killer Kowalski, at ringside. Killer was offering a hand to the fallen Montoya, which the Connecticut Blue Blood took exception to, and he decided to pull the sixty-nine-year-old over the steel railing in a show of disrespect. Luckily, no further assault took place, but Kowalski was visibly shaken by the incident and left the FleetCenter, muttering that something had changed in his one-time protégé. --- "That's what happens when you come over the railing at a show, McMahon!" Jerry Lawler exclaimed. Vince McMahon was aghast at the comment. "Are you serious, King? Hunter Hearst Helmsley pulled Killer Kowalski over that railing!" The King simply shrugged. "Maybe he was helping him find his dentures, or something." Vince could only shake his head in disgust. "Folks, I sincerely apologize for the actions of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, as well as the comments of Jerry Lawler. We don't condone that kind of behavior here in the World Wrestling Federation." --- Coming back from the commercial break, we were brought into the home of the former WWF World Heavyweight champion, Diesel, for his sit-down interview with Jim Ross. The former champion was wearing dark wraparound sunglasses as he listened to, not answering, some of the questions that J.R. rattled off. Finally, having enough of the questions, Diesel put his hand up: Jim, you're asking me whether Shawn Michaels is going to return? Diesel smirked. I couldn't care less. All I care about is winning the Royal Rumble, and once again, becoming the WWF World Heavyweight champion. If my best friend is in the way, then so be it.---NEXT WEEK: Owen Hart in action! Bob Holly! The debut of The Supermodels! And, Shawn Michaels' announcement! --- Bret Hart (c) and The Undertaker DEFEATED Psycho Sid and 1-2-3 KidReferee: Jack Doan Agent: Pat Patterson An electric main event capped off this week's episode of Monday Night RAW as The Undertaker picked up the victory for his team in just over nineteen minutes. The Man from the Dark Side had just received a barrage of kicks and punches from the energetic 1-2-3 Kid, who climbed to the top rope, looking for a Moonsault as he had done three years prior to Razor Ramon, but The Undertaker caught the Kid on his shoulders, shifted him into position and drove him down with the Tombstone Piledriver. Ted DiBiase could only let out a scream to the heavens as the referee counted to three. Psycho Sid drove Bret Hart into the ring post outside the ring as the bell sounded. As The Undertaker was struggling to get up in the middle of the ring, he was brought back down by a chair shot from the West Memphis, Arkansas native. Sid hit The Man from the Dark Side several times across the back, before tossing the chair to the side. Unaware to Psycho Sid, Bret Hart had slid back into the ring, picking up the discarded chair. Sensing danger to his client, Ted DiBiase called for Psycho Sid to back down, which he ultimately did. It was at that moment, though, that The Man from the Dark Side sat up, and he noticed the chair in the hands of the WWF World Heavyweight champion. A snarl came across The Undertaker's face as Bret Hart protested his innocence. On the outside of the ring, Ted DiBiase was laughing hysterically. Could this have been his plan all along? --- OOC: I told you that things were heating up, didn't I?

Jim Ross' Ross Report on the WWF Superstar Hotline:- Diesel was openly critical of Aldo Montoya, following the twenty-two-year-old's match on Monday Night RAW against Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Big Daddy Cool was specific about the fact that Montoya has poor ring psychology.
- Vince McMahon was said to have been hugely disappointed by the news that Ultimate Warrior had signed with World Championship Wrestling over the weekend. The news going around Titan Towers is that if Warrior had indeed returned to the World Wrestling Federation, he might have won the Royal Rumble, and even the WWF World Heavyweight championship at some point.
- The days of family friendly television seem to be slipping away as television ratings seem to indicate that fans of the World Wrestling Federation are enjoying the edgier product that has been airing as of late.
---WWF SuperstarsJanuary 14, 1996Chilhowee ParkKnoxville, TN---Before the broadcast, Dok Hendrix came down to ringside, a nervous look on his face as he joined Jim Ross on commentary for an untelevised match.---Owen Hart DEFEATED Chris JerichoReferee: Earl HebnerAgent: Tony GareaTrying to impress the fans in Knoxville, Tennessee, was a bit difficult for Jericho, though he was able to get some of the crowd on his side for his match against Owen Hart. It was after a move that he called the Lionsault, that Jericho looked to have the match won, but Jim Cornette got on the apron to provide a costly distraction, and when Jericho turned around, he was met with an enziguri that left him on the mat. Owen could only smile as he locked the youngster in the Sharpshooter, wrenching the hold on the unconscious Jericho, until referee Earl Hebner called for the bell to be rung.---"Did you hear any of that out here?" Michael Hayes asked his colleague, shedding his Dok Hendrix persona for a moment, as the crew set up for the remainder of the show. "Sid got into an argument with one of the newcomers, ended up punching the kid, and Vince suspended him for the rest of the month."J.R. could only shake his head in disbelief. He had been in the other company for some of Sid's antics, especially with Flyin' Brian Pillman, and now it seemed like he was back to his old habits.---Mr. Perfect sauntered out moments later, joining J.R. on commentary for the rest of the evening.---"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WWF Superstars! I'm Jim-!""Are you kidding me, Jim Ross? You're going to introduce yourself first? Do you have any class at all?" Mr. Perfect said with a confident look on his face."Okay, folks. My apologies. That's Mr.-!""Thanks, but no, thanks, Jim Ross. The fans around here know that I'm a former two-time WWF Intercontinental champion, and I am the most well-rounded athlete that has ever stepped in between those ropes."J.R. could only roll his eyes in response, before sending it to the opening match.---1-2-3 Kid DEFEATED Brad ArmstrongReferee: Jack DoanAgent: Tony GareaTed DiBiase led 1-2-3 Kid out to the ring for this one, and conspicuous by his absence was Psycho Sid. The Kid looked determined to prove his doubters wrong after losing on Monday Night RAW, and after unleashing a bevy of martial arts kicks in the corner on his veteran opponent, he backed off. It was when he moved in for the kill, that Brad Armstrong surprised the fans in Chilhowee Park, catching 1-2-3 Kid with a small package for a near fall. Armstrong continued to push the pace for a few moments, but try as one might, he wound up getting distracted by Ted DiBiase, leading to The Kid catching him with a kick to the side of the head that was enough for the three count.
---
Following the match, Paul Bearer has some words for the WWF World Heavyweight champion: He knows that Bret Hart was innocent, and that the Creatures of the Night know that he wasn't intending to hit The Undertaker with that chair, but he has to wonder if The Hitman hadn't been caught, would he have been sorry?
---
Savio Vega DEFEATED Tony Anthony Referee: Jack Doan Agent: Tony Garea
A fired-up Savio Vega pinned Tony Anthony in three minutes following the Caribbean Kick. After the match, Vega looked into the camera, an intense gaze in his eyes: "Bad Guy, that was for you! Goldust, you're next!"
---
"Could Savio Vega avenge his friend, the current WWF Intercontinental champion, Razor Ramon, and go after The Bizarre One?" Jim Ross asked.
Mr. Perfect threw his head back with a laugh. "Avenge his friend, J.R.? Don't you know that Razor Ramon has no real friends in the World Wrestling Federation? I mean, Goldust gave him a gift, a pricey one, and what did he do with it? He threw it out! What makes you think that he'd appreciate something that Savio Vega did for him?"
"I beg to differ, Mr. Perfect." J.R. began, but the realization of another question now dawned on him. "Wait, just a minute. How do you know that it was a pricey gift?"
Shrugging, Mr. Perfect turned back to the action, his gold Rolex shining off of the television monitor.
---
Following the match, the World Wrestling Federation were once again able to license the song Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, to air the same video from Monday night for the possible return of Shawn Michaels. At the end of the video, we once again see the news that HBK will be making an announcement about his career tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW.
---
Hakushi DEFEATED Ray Lloyd Referee: Jack Doan Agent: Gerald Brisco
In just under three minutes, Hakushi pins Ray Lloyd with the Praying Power Bomb.
---
"I don't see Hakushi hanging out with Barry Horowitz for much longer, Ross." Mr. Perfect said, a smirk on his lips. "Think about it, would you want to hang out with a loser like Barry Horowitz?"
"What's wrong with Barry Horowitz?"
"Okay, I take that back. You would hang out with Barry Horowitz, but Hakushi? Hakushi is going places in the World Wrestling Federation, mark my words."
---
WWF SLAM JAM EVENT CENTER: Dok Hendrix hypes up the event coming up at Madison Square Garden, as there will be a steel cage match for the WWF World Heavyweight championship. You don't want to miss the opportunity to see all your favorite WWF Superstars, do you? So, go buy tickets now, and witness the World Wrestling Federation in your town!
---
Smokin' Gunns (c) DEFEATED King Mabel and Sir Mo Referee: Jack Doan Agent: Pat Patterson
King Mabel has certainly fallen from where he was six months ago, that much is for sure. The match was barely competitive, serving more as a showcase for the WWF World Tag Team champions instead, and it was the champions who came out victorious, following the Gunn Slinger from Billy Gunn on Sir Mo.
After the match, King Mabel pushed past Sir Mo, stalking towards the backstage area, as a dejected Mo followed after him. Passing by Sunny and the Bodydonnas, who were at ringside, scouting the match, Sunny couldn't help herself from remarking that: That's no Bodydonna, that's for sure!
---
Owen Hart stands by with Jim Cornette, a scowl on his face: My brother, Bret! One more match! One more opportunity to take from you what you've worked so hard to achieve! And one more opportunity to prove to you, the whole world, and most of all, our family, that I am the better Hart.
---
"We could be in store for an instant classic tomorrow night, Mr. Perfect. Brother against Brother, and the gold is on the line."
"I've seen many of their past encounters, Ross, and Owen keeps getting a little bit better each time. I think this is his for the taking!"
---
British Bulldog DEFEATED Phatu Referee: Jim Korderas Agent: Gerald Brisco
A highly competitive match ends WWF Superstars tonight, as British Bulldog picks up the victory following a distraction from the Louisville Loudmouth, Jim Cornete, and the Running Powerslam. Phatu is sadly unable to make much of a difference in this one.
---
Before we get the chance to see the British Bulldog celebrate, the WWF cameras catch Psycho Sid on his hands and knees in the middle of the dressing room, spitting up blood. It is obvious that the West Memphis, Arkansas native was just taken out, and as we're about to sign off, we find out the assailant, as the unmistakable voice is heard: Everybody's got a price for the Million Dollar Man!
---
OOC: Sorry, Psycho Sid, but that's what happens when you get into a fight with one of the newest members of the roster.

I loved the New Generation product because it was really easy to follow and WWF was well booked (mostly) during that era (specially 1996), but I really think they missed the boat not turning into an edgier product before WCW did so, since it was obvious that would be the trend. I'm glad you're doing it.

OOC: I just wanted to say thank you, Moore, for the kind words. It is your diary on here that first inspired me to create an account, and then post something of my own.---WWF Monday Night RAWJanuary 15, 1996Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial ColiseumWinston-Salem, NC---Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is right in enemy territory and things are heating up in the World Wrestling Federation. Unsurprisingly, Vince McMahon got a hearty round of boos from the audience as he made his way to his seat at the desk. The King, surprisingly, gets a warmer reception, leading to Lawler telling McMahon that they're in bizarro world, during their pre-match rituals.---"Fans, we are live here in Winston-Salem, and the crowd is ready for some WWF action!" Vince McMahon bellowed out, before adjusting his headset momentarily. The King could only smile from his seat. "You're telling me, McMahon! I could've sworn that the fans in attendance saw your bald head earlier, judging from the reaction they gave you."---Jeff Jarrett DEFEATED Bob HollyReferee: Earl HebnerAgent: Tony GareaIt seemed like Jeff Jarrett was constantly looking over his shoulder during this one, wondering if or when Ahmed Johnson would make his presence felt. It led to a few miscues on the part of the country music superstar, such as when he went for a back body drop on Holly, only for the race car driver to score a near fall with a sunset flip. Jarrett would pick up the pace, and roll through a diving crossbody from Holly, before securing the victory with a handful of tights.Jarrett didn't have too long to celebrate as Ahmed Johnson made his presence felt, racing down to the ring with the remnants of the guitar that was cracked over his head last week.Ahmed Johnson snarls as he helps Bob Holly up, knowing that at the Royal Rumble, he will finally get his hands on Jeff Jarrett.
---We were then taken to the office of WWF President, Gorilla Monsoon, for a special announcement: Greetings, wrestling fans. I hope you're enjoying the action. It is my duty to inform you that during a live event, the WWF Intercontinental champion, Razor Ramon, suffered an injury that will put him out of action for the next four to six months.
The crowd live at the arena would cheer at this announcement. At this time, I must regrettably strip the champion. However, in the coming weeks, I will hold a tournament for the vacant WWF Intercontinental championship. I have also assured Razor Ramon that he will receive a title shot against the champion, whomever that may be, as soon as he is ready and able to step into the ring. Thank you.---"That's big news, King!""McMahon, I think I know someone who could be the new WWF Intercontinental champion.""And who would that be?"The King laughed as he pointed at himself. "No one better than The King, McMahon!"---Bret Hart is fixing the laces on his wrestling boots when he notices a WWF camera: Whether it was the challenge of my brother-in-law last month at In Your House, or my own brother tonight, I will do what I always do, and prove to myself as well as all of my fans around the world that I am The Best There Is, The Best There Was, and The Best There Ever Will Be!---The Supermodels DEFEATED Hardy BoyzReferee: Dave HebnerAgent: Tony GareaRick Martel, making his return to the World Wrestling Federation, and Don Callis, collectively known as The Supermodels, make their debut here. It was a quick match, though, as Martel caught the young Jeff Hardy in the Québec Crab in just under three minutes. Callis got into the ring after, spending a great amount of time wiping the sweat off of Martel, and when both men noticed the group of photographers at ringside, they stopped what they were doing and struck a pose for the audience.---In a segment that was shot last week, a sweaty Hunter Hearst Helmsley stood against the back wall of the FleetCenter: A lot of people came up to me to tell me that I went too far with what I just did. Too far? Maybe, yeah. You know what, though? I apologize. I apologize that I didn't do what I did to Killer Kowalski, a lot sooner.---Coming back from the break, Vince McMahon stood inside the ring, awaiting the return of Shawn Michaels. As HBK made his return to a mixed reaction from the crowd, Vince looked agitated. He was obviously expecting a massive reaction to Michaels' return, but he wasn't getting it. Shawn grabbed the microphone quickly, not waiting for the fans' reaction to die down, and announced that as of this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, HBK was back!
What wasn't expected, though, was the appearance of Diesel, who made his way down the entrance and stepped over the ropes, before quickly making his way over to his friend. HBK looked like he was ready for a fight, but Big Daddy Cool smiled as he held up his hand for a high five. Michaels' confused expression must've made Diesel second guess himself as the seven-footer retracted his hand, and just as quickly as he arrived, Diesel walked out of the ring.Diesel stopped once he got out of the ring, a smirk on his lips as he watched while Shawn Michaels celebrated with the fans: So be it, Shawn.---"If I were a betting man, McMahon, I'd say that Big Daddy Cool doesn't look so thrilled that Shawn Michaels decided to return to the ring." The King commented.Vince McMahon, on the other hand, acted as if he had no idea what his broadcast partner was talking about. "He held up the high five for Michaels, King, and you can't blame HBK for being a little bit hesitant. The Royal Rumble is this Sunday, and every man is going to be there for themselves!"---Barry Horowitz DEFEATED Rad RadfordReferee: Tim WhiteAgent: Gerald Brisco
In a quick five-minute match, Barry Horowitz picked up the victory with the Horowitz Cradle. It wasn't as much of a pop from the crowd as when Horowitz beat Skip over the summer, but the fans in attendance still reacted well enough when Horowitz scored the win.

A hearse is seen pulling up to the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, before sitting idle. Could it be The Undertaker and Paul Bearer?

WWF World Heavyweight Championship Bret Hart (c) DEFEATED Owen Hart Referee: Earl Hebner Agent: Gerald Brisco
Once again, an electric match between the two Hart brothers took place on Monday Night RAW, and the crowd in the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum were reacting to everything that the brothers threw at one another.
No interference from Jim Cornette or any of Camp Cornette in this one, as it was just a technical masterpiece. After nineteen minutes, though, an exhausted Bret Hart was finally able to make his younger brother, Owen, give up to the Sharpshooter.
Bret was spent as he released the hold and retrieved the WWF World Heavyweight championship from Earl Hebner, waiting until his brother made his way to his feet. It was when Owen got up that Bret extended a hand in his younger brother's direction, which Owen contemplated until the British Bulldog charged into the ring and clotheslined The Hitman from behind.
Owen was momentarily stunned, but it wasn't long before he joined his brother-in-law in stomping his older brother. The crowd began throwing trash in the ring, causing Owen to stop what he was doing, and flap his arms at the crowd like a bird as the crowd became more raucous.
Finally, as if waiting for the right moment, the lights in the building went out. When they returned, The Man from the Dark Side was standing in the middle of the ring, his hand around the throat of Owen Hart.
"Chokeslam!" Vince McMahon called out.
And with that, the British Bulldog got out of the ring, dragging the carcass of his brother-in-law with him. The Undertaker, meanwhile, noticed the WWF World Heavyweight championship on the ground, picked it up, and just as The Hitman stared up at him, The Man from the Dark Side tossed the gold to the side in favor of helping his opponent for this Sunday to his feet.
"Unbelievable! Fans, you are not going to want to miss this Sunday night!"

It was when the elder Youngblood went up to the top rope that Sunny made her presence felt, flashing Mark a bit of a smile, and Skip crotched his opponent on the top rope. One suplex later was all it took, and it was another victory for the Bodydonnas as they go on to the Royal Rumble and their shot at the WWF World Tag Team champions.---"I don't know about you, J.R., but I think that if Bart or Billy get caught looking at Sunny, we could be looking at brand new WWF World Tag Team champions." Dok Hendrix commented."Is there any red-blooded male that wouldn't get caught looking at Sunny?" J.R. asked, but noticed that his colleague's attention was elsewhere. "Dok? Dok Hendrix? ... Oh, I rest my case."---From there, we were taken back to the conclusion of the WWF World Heavyweight Championship match between Bret and Owen Hart. Then, without warning, the video stopped and on our television screens was Jim Cornette, who was interviewed moments after the match: Bret Hart, great match. But let me ask you something, Hitman. Did you really think for one second that your brother was going to shake your hand? Standing behind his manager, Owen Hart looked a bit contemplative. Could Owen be having second thoughts about his rivalry with his older brother, Bret?---Following that, we were taken back to Monday Night RAW, where Vince McMahon stood inside the ring, awaiting the return of Shawn Michaels. Anyone who watched on Monday night would tell you that HBK made his return to a mixed reaction from the crowd, but it appeared that the audio had been sweetened as the reaction was a bit more positive. Shawn would grab the microphone quickly, and announce his return to the ring this Sunday night at the Royal Rumble. Once again, the cheers were much louder. You have to wonder if Vince McMahon was worried about what the live reaction would be like on Sunday, if the crowd at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum were any indication.---1-2-3 Kid DEFEATED Chaz TaylorReferee: Tim WhiteAgent: Pat PattersonAny fan of the Global Wrestling Federation in the early nineties would tell you that these two youngsters had met before, and tonight they met once again. While it was nowhere nearly as competitive as their previous encounters, the Kid still had respect for his former opponent, as he let him up after moves that could have ended the match. Finally, it was around the five-minute mark when 1-2-3 Kid was done playing around, and locked in a submission hold that he called the Buzzkill.---Ted DiBiase laughed as he entered the ring, raising 1-2-3 Kid's arm in the air. Stepping over the injured Chaz Taylor, DiBiase grabbed a microphone off of Howard Finkel, letting out another laugh before he spoke: "Sid, this is what happens when you mess with the Million Dollar Man and his money!"---Goldust DEFEATED Barry HorowitzReferee: Tim WhiteAgent: Gerald BriscoIt appears that Barry Horowitz has some success, but not enough for the top talent of the World Wrestling Federation, as The Bizarre One handily defeated him in just over three minutes following the Curtain Call.---"I've got to say, I really think that Goldust has the potential to go all the way in the Royal Rumble this year, J.R." Dok Hendrix mused."I can definitely see that, Dok. The kid, as bizarre as he is, has a great athletic pedigree."---The mood in the Taylor County Expo Center quickly changed as the sound of a truck horn blared, and Diesel made his way to the ring. The former WWF World Heavyweight champion was not scheduled to be in action here, but with his attitude as of late, who was going to stop him?
Grabbing a microphone, Diesel leaned across the top rope: I will take on all comers until Sunday, if I need to. I don't give a damn who comes out here next, and I know you're listening in the back, Vince. Give me someone, or I'll come and pull you out of your chair and bring your ass out here.---"Fans, we apologize for the comments of Big Daddy Cool." J.R. said, obviously fed the word through his headset.---Diesel DEFEATED Rad RadfordReferee: Tim WhiteAgent: Gerald BriscoRad Radford was, unfortunately, the one who came out to the ring, trying to calm the former WWF World Heavyweight champion, only to receive a punch that almost knocked his lights out. From that point forward, Big Daddy Cool toyed with his opponent, until he had finally had enough and finished Radford off with the Jacknife Power Bomb.---A smirk came across the face of Diesel as he rolled off of Rad Radford, making his way toward the corner where he had left the microphone: Is that all you've got, Vince? He was about to say more, but the sound of bagpipes cut him off. No way, could it be? It is! Rowdy Roddy Piper is back in the World Wrestling Federation!Piper didn't say anything, instead just soaking in the surprised reaction from the crowd as WWF Superstars went into a commercial break.---"Fans, if you're just tuning in now, you have missed a great broadcast thus far. Rowdy Roddy Piper has returned to the World Wrestling Federation, and announced his entry into the Royal Rumble." J.R. went into hype mode for the viewers that didn't see what just transpired.Dok Hendrix went on a rant, claiming that he was the only one to know how Diesel felt. "I am at a loss, J.R. Diesel looked upset, and I don't blame him. It seems like every time he's got an opportunity to shine, someone decides to make their presence felt and take it away from him. First, it was The Hitman winning the WWF World Heavyweight championship, then The Man from the Dark Side gets a title shot at the Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels announces his return and subsequent entry into the Royal Rumble, and now, Roddy Piper. What's Diesel got to do to get some respect around here?"

The Undertaker DEFEATED The Ringmaster Referee: Mike Chioda Agent: Tony Garea
In their first ever encounter, two Texans, The Undertaker and The Ringmaster, tore it up in the ring. Heavy hands were thrown as the action spilled from the ring to the outside on several occasions. It is safe to say that if this match had taken place ten years prior, it might have been the main event at the Dallas Sportatorium.
Ted DiBiase would try to make his presence felt in this one, going after Paul Bearer, but it was The Ringmaster who wound up distracted and soon scooped up into the clutches of The Undertaker, before being driven down with a Tombstone Piledriver.
The Man from the Dark Side would pose on one knee in front of Paul Bearer, the fans, and one has to wonder, could he possibly be the next WWF World Heavyweight champion?

OOC: And we are at the Royal Rumble, folks. I should have a card up in the next couple of hours, so if anyone would like to predict, that'd be fun. Eesh, I like the ecw show more. Any of these guys on the cards you thinking of raiding? Like the gangstas for example, they were the top heels in Jim Cornette's smw before it closed a year ago in game so they might fit well in this edgier product you got going. Do you think Chris candido can get a singles push while keeping Sunny? He could make for a good Intercontinental Champion while Tom Prichard could either reform the heavenly bodies with stan lane or be released. Whe's Chaz taylor? If you wanted a former gwf guy why not sign Jerry lynn? They did fight for the gwf light Heavyweight title after all. Looks like diesel's about to turn into Kevin Nash, but will you be able to keep him and Scott Hall?

OOC: Those are some good questions, sonny912. Unfortunately, I can't answer a lot of those questions without revealing my future plans, but I will answer the question of, who's Chaz Taylor, and why not Jerry Lynn? Well, Lynn is currently under contract with World Championship Wrestling, wrestling under the name of Mr. J.L., and he was most recently seen at their Hot Commodity event, losing to Sgt. Buddy Lee ParkerAs for Chaz Taylor, he was most well known for a Bungee Cord match that he had with Steven Dane in the Global Wrestling Federation. To the best of my knowledge, he didn't really receive any mainstream success, and he was a local talent, so I thought he'd be a good fit for the show, especially considering we were taping in Texas.Let's get to the match card, though. ---
---
OOC: I will admit that I am a little bit nervous about writing this one, so please get your predictions in, and also fingers crossed that I should have the event up sometime within the next couple of days.
And with that, I am off to celebrate my birthday!
