I've been thinking about starting a project for a while now. Ever since I got into the booking games I've always wondered "how would this show perform if it was booked in XX games?" I've given up and decided to start lol. Using the Pro Wrestling Sim we're booking real world WWF shows from 1993 to the present day! Same matches, same angles, same lengths, same TV deals etc. Sometimes the game will try to break this similarity. But then I'll intervene directly with the database editor and reverse the situation. As we enter the New Generation era of the WWF, let's see if we can reach the Attitude Era without bankrupting the company. I plan to open a different topic for each year. Here is the first one!
The database I'm using is: All American Wrestling by gazwefc

WWF Superstars January 2, 1993 Green Bay Expo Center @ Green Bay, WI Announcers: Vince McMahon, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Jerry “The King” Lawler
Show Rating: 72 Tickets Sold: 1,645 ($81,839)
WWF Champion: Bret “The Hitman” Hart WWF Intercontinental Champion: Shawn Michaels WWF World Tag Team Champions: Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster)
SEGMENT Show opening Lawler lets us know that he has been officially added to the Royal Rumble match.
MATCH 1 Mr. Perfect def. The Berzerker in 6:36 We see Ric Flair heading down to the ring as he is held back by several officials. Perfect is ready to fight then shoves Berzerker down after getting attacked from behind. Flair heads back then Berzerker knocks Perfect outside as we go to break. The action returns as Berzerker drags Perfect back inside and hits a front falling slam for a two count but after that ducks his head as Perfect hits the Perfect Plex for the win
SEGMENT WWF Update with Gene Okerlund This week we hear from Bobby Heenan as he runs down Mr. Perfect and says Flair will go through him. However, Heenan says he will unveil someone at the Royal Rumble who is even more perfect and we will see “Narcissus.” Okerlund then reads the definition of the word narcissus which means a conceited self-centered that thinks too highly of themselves and being obsessed with their own appearance. Okerlund wants to know if this person can live up to Heenan’s rhetoric. We now have Heenan saying he will introduce someone who will apparently make Mr. Perfect seem completely inferior in every way.
MATCH 2 Yokozuna def. Barry Horowitz in 2:47 Jobber George Anderson, who was in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Clip of Razor’s attack on Owen We remember Razor attacking Owen in the locker room last week.
MATCH 3 Marty Jannetty def. Lance Cassidy in 3:04 Jobber Tom Stone, who was in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
MATCH 4 Damien Demento def. The Brooklyn Brawler in 3:07 Jobber Mitch Bishop, who was in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Royal Rumble Report New additions to the Rumble match include Earthquake (who Okerlund acted like was already confirmed for the match based on his promo against Yokozuna), Carlos Colon (who is billed as representing Puerto Rico), Crush, Papa Shango, and Rick Martel. Not exactly the best group of announcements here. And Colon was added as part of a potential partnership between WWF and the WWC. Plus, The Steiner Brothers vs. Beverly Brothers will take place too.
MATCH 5 Crush def. Wolfie D (USWA) in 2:35
SEGMENT A clown warns Crush After the match, Crush approaches the clown and grabs his arm to warn him what will happen if he continues to bother the kids as the clown was throwing a ball at a kid’s face. Crush leaves then the clown laughs.
SEGMENT Next week on Superstars Next week in action are Bam Bam Bigelow, The Undertaker, Kamala, and the debut of the Steiner Brothers.
Latest News Luna Vachon offered a contract by USWA Growing tensions between Giant Gonzalez and Tito Santana
Thoughts We had a WWF Superstars show that took place right before the RAW debut show and included segments that referenced Royal Rumle 1993. I will also pay attention to the booking of these shows in order to keep the project realistic. Since the program is a B-Show, it will not help the wrestlers' popularity too much. However, there will still be small boosts. Also, since some jobbers are not in the database, I will use the company's enhancement talents or USWA's young talents instead.

WWF Prime Time Wrestling January 4, 1993 Green Bay Expo Center @ Green Bay, WI (tapings from last Superstars show) Announcers: Vince McMahon, Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

WWF Champion: Bret “The Hitman” Hart WWF Intercontinental Champion: Shawn Michaels WWF World Tag Team Champions: Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster)
SEGMENT Last episode of Prime Time Wrestling Your hosts are Vince McMahon, Gorilla Monsoon, and Bobby Heenan for the final episode of Prime Time. The set is no more (It was taken down on last week’s show)and they are sitting in chairs in front of a small table. Gorilla rags on Heenan for not being part of Monday Night Raw as Heenan is upset. We see a memorable Prime Time moment from the “Bobby Heenan Show” with a belly dancer standing on top of Jameson. It really was not that memorable to be honest.
MATCH 1 The Headshrinkers def. Virgil and El Matador in 9:34
SEGMENT Announcers talk about Royal Rumble The announcers talk about the Royal Rumble with Heenan saying Razor Ramon will be the WWF World Heavyweight Champion after the Rumble then gets grilled as to why Razor is getting the opportunity and not Ric Flair as they say he’s not being fair to Flair.
MATCH 2 “Terrific” Terry Taylor def. Lance Cassidy in 3:17 Jobber Dale Wolfe, who was in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Announcers talk about Royal Rumble again The clip from this week’s syndicated shows of Heenan telling us that he will be revealing The Narcissus at the Royal Rumble. The hosts now talk about the Rumble match and how to handle the big men like Yokozuna and Earthquake. Heenan talks about it being every man for himself and not willing to team up and eliminate someone else.
MATCH 3 Shawn Michaels def. Skinner in a non-title match in 4:39
SEGMENT Vince talking about debut of Monday Night RAW Vince talks about next week being the debut of Monday Night Raw as Heenan says he will be there one way or another. The story with this is that since Prime Time ended, Heenan is out of a job and not part of Raw.
Latest News Carlos Colon increases his booking fee from $400 to $500
Thoughts It was a sad final episode of Prime Time Wrestling, which has been going on since 1985. As you know, RAW will debut on USA Network the following week and a brand new era will begin. There were plenty of flashback segments on this show. I didn't include them. By the way, since "Terrific" Terry Taylor was in WCW in the default database, I pulled him to WWF. Since he was leaving the company in August 1993, I arranged his contract this way. I also signed Carlos Colon to an open contract because he would be returning for one night at the Royal Rumble 1993. I will include any other participants who are not in WWF in the coming weeks.

WWF Superstars January 9, 1993 Green Bay Expo Center @ Green Bay, WI Announcers: Vince McMahon, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Jerry “The King” Lawler
Show Rating: 74 Tickets Sold: 1,669 ($83,4500)
Ratings 31,614 viewers on U.S. Syndication (Average)
WWF Champion: Bret “The Hitman” Hart WWF Intercontinental Champion: Shawn Michaels WWF World Tag Team Champions: Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster)
SEGMENT Kamala and Harvey Wippleman's promo interrupted by Slick The show starts off with the end of last week’s interview segment with Kamala, Harvey Whippleman, and Kimchee where Slick interrupts to tell Kamala not to take the abuse and that he is a man, not a beast.
MATCH 1 Kamala def. Wolfie D (USWA) in 1:40 Todd Becker, who was originally in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Slick attacked by Harvey and Kimchee but Kamala saves him After the match, Whippleman & Kimchee yell at Kamala. Kimchee then shoves Kamala a few times as Whippleman yells and points his finger. Slick now runs down to the ring and steps in between them and tells Kimchee & Whippleman that they are no longer in charge of Kamala. Kimchee decks Slick then Kamala checks on Slick with concern and ends up chopping Kimchee over the top rope then chases Whippleman up the aisle.
SEGMENT WWF Update with Gene Okerlund We are shown the Owen Hart interview from “Mania” where Razor Ramon ran out to attack Hart. We then hear from both Razor and Bret in the same exact promos we heard on Mania.
MATCH 2 The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) def. The Brooklyn Brawler and Boo Bradley (SMW) in 3:12 Butch Banks and Rock Warner, who was originally in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Raymond Rougeau tries to talk to clown but fails After the match we see the clown laughing in the aisle. Raymond Rougeau tries to speak with him but the clown continues to laugh as Vince says we might hear from the clown later on in the show.
MATCH 3 Lance Cassidy def. J.C. Ice (USWA) in 2:47 George Petrovsky, who was originally in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database
SEGMENT Clown says his name is Doink Rougeau now welcomes the clown out to the aisle for an interview to find out why he is in the WWF. The clown comes out with his arm in a sling then tells us that his name is Doink. We see clips of all the pranks he pulled on people as Doink laughs. Rougeau says Doink is only make himself laugh as Doink loves taking away the smiles of the kids in the crowd. Rougeau asks Doink about the warning he received last week from Crush but Doink says he is having a good time and does not care whose expense he laughs at then squirts water in Rougeau’s eye from his flower. The clown laughs on the stage as Vince calls him a sick man. The clown’s name is finally revealed as Doink, who was played by Matt Borne.
MATCH 4 The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) def. Barry Horowitz in 2:47 Scott Zappa, who was originally in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Royal Rumble Report We learn that Shawn Michaels will defend the Intercontinental Title against Marty Jannetty with Sensational Sherri appearing in someone’s corner. Shawn says he has not had a chance to talk to Sherri but like any other woman Sherri will be with him as Marty says the Rumble is “Marty Jannetty Day” and that maybe Shawn does not know Sherri as well as he thinks. I think Marty celebrated a bit early that day. Other names announced for the Rumble match are the Tenryu, El Matador, Typhoon, Samu, Fatu, and Jim Duggan
MATCH 5 Bam Bam Bigelow def. Scott Armstrong in 2:22 Red Tyler, who was originally in this match, was not added to the match because he was not in the database.
SEGMENT Next week on Superstars Next week in action are Yokozuna, Nasty Boys, Crush, and Razor Ramon. Plus, an interview with Shawn Michaels.
Latest News Todd Pettengill takes mentorship from Slick The Ultimate Warrior signs exclusive contract with WCW
Thoughts It was a standard Superstars show that built excitement for the Royal Rumble and the first episode of Monday Night RAW next week. I forgot that Genichiro Tenryu was in this Rumble match. I immediately created him in the AAW database and signed him to a contract. I also created Rob Bartlett who will be the announcer of RAW for a few months. His contract is up in April and he will be out of the industry after that.

I like the premise of this simulation. Especially if the idea is to change certain aspects of what was booked (although it seems like you’re going to mimic real life in this simulation).
I also like this idea because it makes running the syndicated/b shows easier. I may run something similar for WCW 1989 in PWS but will change certain events/ show bookings.
